Alright, yet another poll cause I’m bored.
Edit: To clarify, each piercing counts as one. So if you have one in each ear you have two piercings.

In a recent staff post, tumblr staff said that only a quarter of tumblr is lgbtq, and I don’t think anyone’s really convinced of those numbers. Ik this post might not reach that many people but…
(Edit: oh my god guys ik the results are biased okay?? Unfortunately that’s just how polls work. Check my reblog tho gay, was literally the 2nd most trending tag last night. Even if you refuse to believe the statistical literacy of this poll you can still observe that tumblr is still largely very gay compared to the average social media. I talk more about this in a reblog but god. I get it. Polls have never been that good at gathering unbiased results)

so my friend and I have been discussing common queer experiences that most queer people had as a child, and how we experience(d) attraction. I, as a lesbian, am not attracted to men. I am, however, kinda attracted to some fictional men. Which is weird, I don't like men in that way. my gay friend has had the same experience with some fictional woman
what I'm curious about: is it a thing to see a fictional character of the opposite sex and think they're attractive in any way?

I've already addressed this a few times before, but it never picked up and I'd personally love to know what I could to improve this in the future /gen
While I don't want to exclude intersex people from discussions about butchness, I also want to avoid implying that intersexuality is a simple gender identity in the future. The reason intersex was included in the butch poll was to hear from intersex voices within the butch community as it's a very underrepresented group (not to imply being intersex was a gender identity in its own right), but a few intersex butches also pointed out that intersex people can be trans or cis, as well as a lot of other helpful info.
Would intergender (as in gender specifically relating to one's intersex status) be the better word to use in the future? Or are there terms that have been made to be inclusive of the intersex experience while not dumbing it down?
I'm a very disabled butch that wants to learn about and support other people within the butch community the best ways I can. No obligation, but if anyone is willing to take the time to leave me some advice I would be very grateful.

Before I knew I was a lesbian, I always figured I'd end up with a guy who was older and taller than me, and then I married a woman who was shorter and younger than me. Did anyone else have a preconceived notion of the person you were "supposed" to end up with before you were fruity?

If you don't know, take your best guess
Immediate family is your parents and siblings, and that's it. No grandparents, cousins, aunts, nephews, etc. No in-laws, either. I'm also not counting the immediate family you may have made as an adult (children and spouses).
Adoptive and step family count.
I want to see how common it is to have multiple queer people in the same family.

Hold on I’ve got a hunch so basically almost every “what’s your sexuality/label” post I see ends with bi and ace in second and first so
Reblog for bigger sample size
