a term for when your gender as a system or part of a system is influenced by alters genders to create a whole, somewhat collective gender. this may include all or just some alters, have some alters genders felt more strongly than others, have subsystems be sub-genders, etc. there may be alters who are excluded from this label or not.
as an example, you might have a system or group of alters who is/are aliencatgender because they have alters who are both aliengender and catgender and this blends together.
this term is exclusive to traumagenic + disordered systems. endos, this is not for you.

When I think of the gender spectrum I think of millions and trillions of uneven, blurry venn diagrams all overlapping eachother. Stretching out into infinity because thats what a spectrum is, an infinite amount of space with no set limit. Thats why trying to present the gender spectrum as a linear or tidy venn diagrams isn't rlly accurate in my opinion, because it usually excludes and limits sooo many other wonderful experiences out there.
The gender spectrum isn't neat and tidy but a big chaotic fire pit

hi! in case anyone was curious, spectrum boxers seem to compress your hips somewhat & do genuinely seem to make them more typically masculine, along with having general contruction that's better suited to transmascs. do what you will with this information.

Hello, I Made An Updated Version Of The Polysexual Flag!
Tumblr media
the pink stripes represent:
queer love
arospec and acespec and polyamorous polysexuals
attraction to many, but not all genders
the white stripe represents:
transgender, genderqueer, nonbinary, and otherwise cisn't polysexuals
and the dusty lavender stripes represent:
defiance against heteronormativity, allonormativity, cisnormativity
defiance against monosexism
solidarity with other multisexuals
lavender and pink were chosen as the primary colors because of their significant history in the queer community and how it represents love respectively; I specifically chose that shade of pink as it was the first stripe of the OG polysexual flag
my reasoning for making a replacement was to make a polysexual flag that is more accessible and has more meaning for our community, as I felt the OG polysexual lacked both of these things as the flags meaning isn't all to different than the pansexual flag + it's design causes many people including myself eyestrain
I hope you all like it!

as a bigender person, trans ambiguous, girlboy, multigender-spectrum whatever you want to read me as who was born with this cunt of mine, pinning down my gay attractions specifically is difficult. i want to talk about it not to move sway from my ambiguous label of queer but to maybe give some people a relatable perspective. its a big big grey area of privilege and my trans identity in relation to transmisogyny
i identified as a lesbian when i was 12. its not my first time being in this community and i am a woman who loves women. lesbian. but im a man, too; the gender traitor who left womanhood for the privilege of intruding malehood. not a lesbian. and im t4t, a dirty chaser! lesbian, but fetishistic.. and then on top of all of that, im attracted to men and other grey identities too?! its a back and forth of reasons why im a lesbian, why im not, why my identity is discounted (youre a butch lesbian not a man) or proven (youre just a man objectifying our wlwlove). it takes a big step up and defining yourself your own way without asking others for 'the rules of queer attraction': i want a girlfriend to call me her girlfriend. im a lesbian. and when i want a boyfriend to call me his boyfriend, im a homo. its both at once, all the time.
its interesting to think about. and i encourage commenting on this -- my attraction to women is gay and my attraction to men is gay. im a lesbian and a homo. binary bigenderism is very often not considered at all in the inane arguments around lesbians definition in regards to non-lesbians, but we should be. sincerely, a queer who likes to type 🫶

Hey you seem to know a lot about non binary gender experiences. I was just wondering if it was possible to be multigendered and agender at the same time. That's all, thank you. :)
it is! it's actually common enough for labels like panagender and polyagender to exist, which are labels that describe someone who has all genders (within their cultural experience) and no gender at the same time, or many genders and no gender at the same time, or someone who lies between having all/many genders and no gender. there are also more specific labels that could include such an experience, such as ambonec, describing someone who's both male and female while at the same time being neither (and "neither" can mean agender). one possibility for this would be if someone had multiple demigenders and the other part was agender. agenderness itself exists on a spectrum and doesn't inherently exclude one from having a gendered experience.

What does menaverique mean? and how can I tell if it fits me?
Menaverique: a gender that is female but in an entirely maverique way
There's also this one, based on finverique:
Fiaverique or feinverique: a multi-gender identity that consists of two or more parts, (depending on the person) feingender/fiaspec and maverique.
If you feel you experience a gender that is both woman/wifgender and maverique, then it can be either menaverique or fiaverique. While fiaverique is multigender, one can be menaverique and monogender (experiencing only one gender). If you feel maverique in a female way or female in a maveriquine way, then it can be menaverique.
It's totally subjective and up to you to determine what you experience as gender identity. If you feel it vibes with you, then use it. But if you feel better just using maverique, for example, just use maverique.

happy pride month to people who may find it difficult to see representation or inclusion for their specific identities this month- intersex people, bisexual/pansexual/mspec gays and lesbians, multigender people, polysexual people, omnisexual people, aromantic spectrum people, asexual spectrum people, agender people, maverique people, transvestites, and anyone else who feels unseen during this pride month: you're not, i promise, we see you, and you deserve to be loudly, proudly yourselves this month

Hey I decided to make a social Discord server for trans-umbrella folk who are also aspec. Most of the trans servers I’ve run into have an implicit assumption that members are allo and it made me feel kind of unwelcome or like I was being pushed out of conversations I was already participating in, but the aspec servers I’ve tried joining were mostly comprised of cis people. There are Sapphic trans servers and Achillean trans servers, so why not a server for aspec folks as well?
<begin self-promo>
Aspec Trans Gang is a social server intended for gender-variant adults who are on the asexual spectrum, the aromantic spectrum, or the aplatonic spectrum!
This 18+ server is SFW and new users are verified by staff to prevent trolling. Neopronoun, multigender, xenogender, non-transitioning, non-dysphoric, gender- and orientation-questioning friendly! All good-faith identities are welcome!
🌿40+ self-assignable roles
🌿 Dozens of cute emotes
🌿 Categories for hobbies, health, and gender/orientation discussion
🌿 Icebreaking, poll, and QOTD channel
🌿 Resource-sharing channel
🌿 Ticket bot for easy staff outreach

Gender and Why It Matters
Hi! Gender matters because it tells you who you are. Separate from the sex (or intersex) you were identified as at birth. Your gender identity refers to the gender (or genders) that your deepest feelings belong to.
The gender spectrum shows the existence of multiple identities related to gender and a vast array of expressions to describe it. Cisgender female is at one end of the spectrum and cisgender male is at the other.
Cisgender means someone whose internal sense of gender matches the sex they were identified with at birth. And gender is your internal identification of who you are.
In between cisgender male & cisgender female are people with genders that are more masculine, more feminine, and even genders that can fluctuate between feeling more female and more male in the same person. These genders may or may not match one's birth sex.
Any or all of this is normal for the person experiencing it. Normal for them because that is who they are.
Normal for you because it is who you are.
The gender binary is the idea of two distinct and opposing entitles- man/woman, which denies the existence of any other genders or anatomies.
Being non-binary is one term that is used to describe genders that don't fall into either the female or male category. Being non-binary is also normal for you if that is what you are inside.
And transgender is an umbrella term for persons whose gender identity, expression or behavior does not conform to that typically associated with the sex they were assigned at birth. Being transgender is normal for the person experiencing it, too.
Does gender have to conform to sex? No. Is it normal not to conform? For the person experiencing this, it is normal for them not to conform! Society may or may not agree with that. But society is not the focus here. You and the way you feel about yourself are.
Impressions of gender can get complex because there is even more. There are agender people that do not belong to any gender. Multigender people that belong to multiple genders. And once again, this is normal for those experiencing it.
While I certainly do not mean to leave anybody out. This blog focuses on a female gender identity because I know there are a lot of trans femme folks out there that may find it to be of interest, and I also strongly identify with a female gender, too. I live it 24/7 as a trans woman and creating the content for this blog comes easy for me. Because it is my life.
No matter who your are or what gender(s) feel right to you inside. I hope that this blog helps to support you in your journey.
Your trans friend, ~Jen @touristclass

Here's a reminder that even if someone uses transfem, transmasc, trans woman, or trans man labels that assuming gendered language for them based on that is still transphobic. Not all trans people are going to be okay with binary language referred to them for a variety of reasons (being nonbinary, intersex, genderfluid, multigendered, on the agender spectrum, trauma, personal discomfort, rejection of those terms, to name a few possible reasons), so ask first if it is safe to do so. People can be a transmasc nonbinary, an intersex trans man, a transfem with trauma, or a butch trans woman who does not want to be called feminine terms. Come on now.

Well, since tumblr randomly ate my pinned... -_-
About us:
We're the Stars system, a massively polymultiple and polyfragmented mixed origin DID system. We consider ourselves an infinite system.
Our pronouns are fae/it unless specified otherwise. When referring to multiple of us, you are welcome to use fae&/it& or you& for clarity. If you are up for it, we would also appreciate second person neopronouns being tried out (substituting neos for 'you'), and sometimes we use first person neopronouns (substituting neos for 'I/we')
Some of our labels include (we use general/umbrella labels in places to indicate that we use many of those kind of labels):
(disability)
POTS
MCAS
likely ME/CFS
chronic pain (likely fibromyalgia)
other unspecified chronic illness symptoms
physically disabled with mobility disabilities
anxiety
PTSD and C-PTSD

OCD
autism
ADHD
MADD
OLD (a medically unrecognized disorder)
neurodivergent and neurodisabled

mad
often housebound, sometimes bedbound (less so now that we have a wheelchair)

We are pro-endo and pro-tulpa, anti-psych and anti-phys, pro-mad-liberation and cripplepunk inclusionists and coined unitypunk. We are kff safe and do not believe ANY identity that someone genuinely identifies as, that is not specifically based on intentional harm to others, can be inherently or ontologically harmful. We are proship/profic and ourselves are survivors of a specific kind of SA that cannot be directly spoken about here. We are also anti-forced-recovery and don't believe in consensus reality.
We also do not believe it is okay to make fun of reality shifters just because it's the current acceptable target, and find it especially hypocritical coming from otherkin. Even if it was always harmful, the appropriate response would be genuine, non-patronizing concern, offering resources, and then backing the fuck off if people can't or won't "recover". That being said, most "anti" sentiment in this context is heavily sanist and centered around the idea of a "correct" consensus reality. Not trusting people to be right about their own subjective experiences is both sanist and just generally an asshole move.
We believe transandrophobia exists, that everyone can be affected by transmisogyny and that TMA/TME labels are reductive and often bioessentialist and intersexist in usage, and that exorsexism and the above are all serious issues both within the trans community and in society as a whole. We support transunity. We also are pro-complicated and conflicting labels, such as mspec lesbian/gay, straight lesbian/gay, transmasc lesbians, and lesgay/lesboy/turigirl labels.
We are transhumanist and support bodily autonomy and good faith identity with NO. EXCLUSIONS. If you think this doesn't apply to you, I promise it still probably actually does. We do our best to judge people on their actions, not their thoughts, feelings, or anything else that occurs internally. We also don't believe any body modifications or exercise of personal bodily autonomy is wrong.
We also believe it's not wrong to be unhealthy, to refuse or be unable to recover, and that healthism is ableism. Disabled people (including neurodivergent people) are the most reliable authority on their own experiences. Also, if someone says they were called a slur, you should believe them, and they have a right to reclaim it regardless of if you think they have the "right" identity (outside of perhaps racial/ethnic slurs, which I feel is not our place to comment on). Slur, label, and flag discourse is all bullshit cop behavior and y'all need to stop it.
There's probably more that we'll come back and add later, but for now, here's a new pinned.
