Observation
Observations and theories based on personal insight. I am hoping to bring awareness to topics that interest me and to help people to think a little deeper. As well as learn along the way. I hope this can be of service to someone. Thinking on how the medical system is currently failing society, I feel looking at things from another perspective is always welcome. Pills aren't always the answer. More times than not they harm before they heal. There are so many ways to relief and true healing that don't involve contaminated chemical compounds. Learning and developing the modalities of our ancestors are crucial in healing humanity. There seems to be an uptick in nervous - related issues. Nervous disorders, sensitivities, somatic responses etc. It seems so many have been noticing increased anxiety, new sensitivities, sensory issues and the like. People who are not generally anxious, seeming to be a little more aware or even on edge. People who are generally calm in demeanor noticing this as well, 'feeling off' etc. Auditory response, digestion, hot/cold and mood changes being noticed. Those with chronic conditions and previous mental health issues are seeing flare ups more frequent and more intense. Some are having a harder time than others dealing with the changes going on in their bodies and are having more anxiety, paranoia, extreme anxiousness, panic attacks, chronic condition flares, 'rare conditions' related to the nervous system being heightened leading to more trips to doctors and hospitals. Any condition that relates to, in any way, the Central Nervous System seem to be or can be heightened. Bodies seem to be rejecting things that were once accepted. Some noticing that certain foods are harder to digest, and/or causing other upsets in or with the body. Breakouts, rashes etc. Cravings of certain foods, foods that they didn't eat before, taste changes, disliking foods that were once craved. New food allergies and intolerances. Forced dietary changes. It's way deeper than that. There seem to be so many things that are or can be affected. These are just the ones I have been noticing. Some are also noticing changes in sensitivity to sound, touch and smell. This can feel like sensory overload to some. It can be extremely overwhelming and it may relate to the uptick in anxiety related issues and outburst people are having. Some have found and are finding they are able to 'work with' these new found sensitivities. I think some can also be tuned, trained and used for amazing things! There are some who have noticed a heightened sense of smell, and have found themselves able to smell chemical changes to and with another persons body. Things as simple as mild colds, to mood changes in people they are able to detect by smell. People are noticing their spatial awareness increased. They are able to sense others near and far. Feeling connection to things they were once oblivious to. There is so much more and so many different ways this goes. What I do know, is there will be an increase in random acts of violence, panic and stress attacks, outburst etc. because these body and sensory changes can be intense. People don't understand what is happening to their bodies, and don't know how to regulate the moods and feelings that are triggered with sensory overload. I think it is important people learn their body, learn their mind and learn their heart. Taking an active role in personal health; physical, mental and emotional are also important. Ask for help when it's needed or things become too intense or hard to understand. Have patience with themselves and others because the world is a stressful place for so many in so many different ways. Having compassion and understanding that everyone is dealing with their own issues. It's free to be kind. Unconditional love is a super power! 💚 ~I.S.~

Does anyone else truly HATE being excited? I hate waiting for things that I'm looking forward to. Excitement is uncertainty. It's nervousness, it's energy, it's this weird sense of dread for something that I'm REALLY looking forward to. It's suffocating. I hate countdowns to announcements to things that I want to know more about. I would rather just wake up and check my phone and see what it was through a calm outline. It's physically uncomfortable for me to be excited for things. Does anyone else know what I mean???

"Clinicians and researchers who deal with people with histories of chronic trauma are routinely confronted with fight, flight, ore freeze reactions. Our patients (and occasionally colleagues) easily take offense, and they often disorganize their (and our) lives by becoming too angry, too ashamed, and too frozen. Minor irritations easily turn into catastrophes; small failures of communication are difficult to gloss over and easily turn into dramatic interpersonal conflicts...human kindness...often fails to have a significant impact on the despair, rage, and terror of people with histories of trauma and abandonment.... Gradually we came to understand that the most severe dysregulation occurred in people who, as children, lacked a consistent caregiver. Emotional abuse, loss of caregivers, inconsistency, and chronic misattunement showed up as the principal contributions to a large variety of psychiatric problems (Dozier, Stovall, & Albus, 1999; Pianta, Egeland, & Adam, 1996). One of the most important discoveries in psychology, neuroscience, and psychiatry has been that failure in establishing secure early attachment bonds leads to a diminished capacity to regulate negative emotions.... Sadly, deficient affect regulation caused by early adverse experiences is compounded by the resulting off-putting behaviors in the face of stress, such as temper tantrums and emotional withdrawal (Shaver & Mikulincer, 2002). Dysregulated behavior alienates potential friends and partners and interferes with being able to garner support and accumulate restorative experiences.
