but a real gothamite knows how big a pain in the ass condiment king is, in fact, urban legend says that the bat kids have formed a pact to not tell batman if condiment king just happens to turn up… at the bottom of gotham harbor.

Danny was livid.

The Guys In White had been following Phantom around constantly and while they weren't much of a threat, they were a massive nuisance. They had shot him down on Thursday and caused him to crash into some poor kids birthday cake in the park.

On Friday they had accidentally released ghost rats into the school.

On Saturday they had somehow managed to turn Paulinas hair ectoplasm green. She refused to leave her bedroom until it was reversed

On Sunday they tried to commandeer his parents GAV and earned the ire of his mom. They found out exactly why that was a bad idea.

On Monday they bardged into Danny's classroom, interrupting his math test because they were looking for a ghost parrot. It was mostly harmless but kept insulting them in a cheery tone. Danny decided he liked that bird.

We won't speak about what happened on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, he scowled at an agent that had accidentally blasted him and his friends with liquid ectoplasm while they were sitting and eating lunch. It was then that Danny began plotting his revenge.

That night he when ghost and lead the GIW on a while goose chase. Did danny take them across state lines? Yes. Did he manage to pull a massive following of these creeps? Also yes.

Did he plan for his target-the guy he had been leading them to- to already be in cuffs when he arrived in Gotham? No. Not at all.

"Hey, uh..." the words died on his tongue as Batman- The Batman- turned to him with narrowed eyes. Mustering his will, he started again, "Could you let him out? Just for a little bit?"

"No."

"Aw, Cmon!"

Condiment King began raving about something, but Danny didn't particularly care to pay attention. "If you're not going to let him out, then can you at least call the rest of the paw patrol? I wanna ask if they wanna throw mud at evil secret organization people. For enrichment." Danny gave his best, most cheeky smile for extra measure.

"Hn."

Things I know in my bones:

If Tumblr exists in the DC universe, the headquarters would be in Gotham, bar none. This website is unhinged enough to deserve a place there.

It’s also an office building with one of the least amount of rogue attacks on record.

A couple scouted it out but decided against it because there wasn’t anything good there.

It’s coincidentally right over some ley lines that probably have nothing to do with anything at all, but a lot of rogues don’t bother with it anyway.

Riddler tried once. His grand scheme lasted about fifteen minutes before he started getting a bunch of scissors thrown at him. Also all his riddles were being answered with the most unhinged yet technically correct answers that once the scissors came out he just called it quits and checked himself back into Arkham. He just glared at Batman when he showed up later with questions.

Joker tried twice. First time he got booed, and when he went to destroy the hecklers he got attacked by a cat. (He says it was fifteen cats but it was one orange cat someone found in a sewer grate). The second time he got impaled with a claymore. He vowed revenge but he found himself being followed around by an orange cat for a month and eventually turned his focus elsewhere.

Condiment King was actually invited so that didn’t count.

Riddler was invited (back) but declined. Loudly.

Danny, homeless and hungry on the streets of Gotham, smells Condiment King and attacks him mid fight with the bats. At this point Danny is half feral from hunger and CK is yelling as this random kid steals all his stuff. The bats quickly lose track of this kid, partially because of thier own laughter.

Or

Dannys already having a hard time in Gotham. He wasn't sure how he got here and Clockwork is either ignoring him or can't hear him so he has to figure something out on his own.

Que Condiment King repeatedly destroying every place he tries to live (usually by accident or by being caught in the crossfire of this rouges fights) eventually Danny loses his cool and creates his own food themed hero/villian. That's right.

Pepsi-man

Of course Pepsi exists in the DC universe (maybe not, but it does now cause I say so) and with it the ye old commercials or Pepsi-man- Pepsi's failed mascot- also exist.

So whenever Pepsi-man appears people are in disbelief and go "Pepsi-man?!" And are baffled. Danny of course isn't that ripped...or tall...or an adult...but his parents were evil mad scientists and he and Jazz were raised from a young age to be thier heirs in a way. So naturally he made a robotic exoskeleton to pilot around. That was Pepsi-man. Danny never speaks as Pepsi-man, and uses exaggerated body language and gestures to get his point across.

Ya know.

Whenever he's not actively making Condiment King eat dirt.
