poly relationship with izuku & ochako
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: izuku midoriya / deku x gn!reader x ochako uraraka / uravity
tags: wholesome fluff, flustered/awkward!izuocha, supportive!1A girls, tons of physical affection, affectionate!izuocha
Tumblr media
the three of you were a MESS before you started dating!
everyone assumed they were the third wheel, with you thinking that izuku and ochako liked each other, while they assumed you only liked the other one and they were actually third wheeling!
there was a long period of time where the three of you were just friends with romantic feelings for one another, until eventually ochako let it slip to the other girls of class 1A that she had a crush on both izuku and you and they helped the three of you out!
looking back on it, you can now laugh about how oblivious and dumb you were back then, but it never fails to embarrass the three of you when the girls of class 1A bring it up to tease you!
izuku and ochako are both very affectionate people, while simultaneously getting easily flustered by affection!
you're always seen holding hands, switching who gets to be in the middle, or having your arms wrapped around each other
the three of you are the most wholesome throuple in class 1A and people look up to you, admiring how cute you are together!
though some of your classmates – like bakugou – are annoyed just how cute and all over each other the three of you are!
you're always training together and are each other's biggest supporters, as well as recklessly running into danger if one of you is in trouble!
you already have plans to move in together after graduating UA, as well as open your own hero agency!
though even while living in the dorms together, it already starts to feel like you're a married throuple who lives together, with the three of you always cooking together or having sleepovers in each other's rooms (much to the distaste of aizawa–)

Shoutout to aromantic, transgender, intersex, and polyamorous people. Gotta be the some of the most underrepresented queer identities I've ever seen.

btw you have my respect and sympathies right now if you are a muslim queer who is facing queerphobia and islamophobia right now. a lot of people are making heinous accusations and saying downright vile things about muslim folk, especially gazan and palestinian folks and palestinian queers. stay strong. i love you

Inspired by the brief period of time I thought I was polyamorous because I felt the same way about my boyfriend as I did my best friends and I hadn't clocked yet that all of those feelings were platonic

I’m fine with monogamous relationships as long as everyone involved in consenting and no one is cheating 💕

*if your gender and sexuality brought on different feelings, vote for whichever you want. (whichever feeling was stronger, or first, or however you want to decide).
If you’re comfortable with it, put your sexuality and/or gender identity in the tags along with the feeling you experienced upon discovering it so we can see if any trends appear with correlations between certain identities and feelings!

i was gonna make a post like "this pride month, pour one out for the polyam folks for having the worst flag"
Tumblr media
(and like, i know theres been a bunch of flags, but this is the one i've seen the most)
however! when i went to google the polyam flag, i found this website, where they apparently held a vote for a new flag that accurately represented the community (and, presumably, didn't look like absolute dogshit), and they apparently settled on this one!
Tumblr media
i hadn't seen it before, but I think it looks really nice and if you check their website, it seems like they have good reasoning/backing/community support, so I really hope I see it around more!!!

btw there's no hard barriers between any queer identities- where one identity ends and another begins, they meld together, creating a gradient between the two, and every other identity around it. it's one big gradient, not rigid boxes that can never be touched by one another. queerness involves embracing those gray areas, celebrating them, and the lives of people who occupy them. being unique does not involve casting away those who are similar to you- there are no barriers between different queers, we are all part of the the same beautiful tapestry.
