Let's get one thing straight: Vil hates gender roles

He actively defies them, and he doesn't stand for anyone trying to enforce them

When Vil first met you, whether he knew you were trans or not, he really admired you for how openly feminine you were

While he didn't put the two of you on the same level in his mind, he did see view you better than most people at NRC

It was the catalyst for the two of you getting closer

You both bonded over how you expressed yourselves and how it made you feel

As the two of you got closer, you tried to hide those days where you felt like being fem was wrong from him

You knew it wasn't true, that the way you dress didn't determine who you were, but you couldn't help that little voice in the back of your head that told you otherwise

When the two of you started to date, it was practically impossible to hide it

You eventually had to open up to him

He caught you on one of those days, when you felt like the only thing you could do was put on a big hoodie to feel like you were valid in your identity

He noticed your change of usual attire, but didn't ask until the two of you were alone

He questioned you on why you dressed so differently that day, and you broke down, telling him how you felt

You told him about how you felt embarrassed to be feminine as a trans man, how it felt like you weren't really valid enough

He put a stop to that immediately, gently cupping your face and telling you that it wasn't how it worked

He assured you that you're valid in how you identify and that how you dress doesn't change who you are

He used himself as an example

He's a cis man, but dresses very fem and wears makeup almost every day

He does very feminine things, and it doesn't make him any less of a man, and everyone respects his identity as a man

After calming you down, he let you know that he loved you, and that who you are won't change based on how you dress

From then on he's constantly giving you small reassurances, whether you look like you need them or not

If you're comfortable with it, he might post you every so often and show you all the positive comments you get, and how everybody treats you just like him

For the sake of these headcanons you are having a sleepover at their dorm and they are on the phone/video chat/streaming or playing video games with friends. You just got out of the shower and decide to do this.

Riddle Rosehearts

He was on the phone with his mother talking about her his upcoming travel plans to come back home.

He was getting visibly upset and frustrated tears were starting to form. Poor baby just wanted to hang up the phone and be with you.

So what do you do when you hear your boyfriend near to the point of crying?

You decide to help. Or at least distract him.

Will he flip out and have his mother find out? Or will he successfully tell a lie and hang up the phone?

Do you decide to record it? Yes. Should you feel bad? Probably.

Well, after you started recording his mother apparently brought up potential suitors (he hasn’t told her about you for fear of her hurting you in some way)

So when you walk in he of course notices you and visibly calms down.

He lets out a surprised squeak when you drop the towel and his face turns as red as his hair, but for a different reason this time.

You hear the mumbled voice of his mom yelling at him to get his attention.

He stares at you for a few seconds in silence, mouth agape before he hung up the phone not taking his eyes off of you. He would be getting an ear full from his mom in the morning.

He is silent as you stop recording and set your phone down on his desk. He just watched with curios eyes as you moved his chair back from his desk and straddled his lap

“My rose” he stumbled over trying to find the right words “Y-you can’t just do that without warning. What if my mother found out?”

He was on the phone with his brother. Can you feel his attitude through the screen? Cause I can.

He was laying on the bed mocking his brother while staring at the ceiling.

He is so absorbed in ignoring his brother he doesn’t see you peek your head out the door and look at him.

You start recording and walk out. He immediately sits up against the headboard and pats his lap when he hears your footsteps.

He smirks when he sees you drop the towel and beckons you over with his index finger.

Walking over to him then crawling on his lap, he puts his brother on speaker setting his phone on his night stand.

Occasionally humming in agreement with whatever Falena was saying. Something about Cheka and a visit. Leona didn’t care and your brain was too far gone from the feeling of Leona’s mouth leaving marks on your neck.

Out of nowhere he bites down on your neck and you have to cover your mouth with your hand to keep quiet as your future brother in-law babbles on (Leona already said you’re getting married. If you don’t want to then too bad).

Leona uses his grip on your waist to grind your hips against his. Both of you getting too caught up in each other failed to notice Falena trying to get Leona’s atttention.

“Leona are you listening? Leona! Do not ignore me! You need to be home on time with Cheka in time for the party! It’s about time you meet someone and settle down!” Falena sounds exasperated.

“Yeah yeah m’listening” he mumbles sucking a hickey on your neck “somethin about a kid and a party” he moves to the other side of your neck sucking on your pulse point “We’ll be there”

“We?! Leona are you dating some-“ Leona hung up the phone without stopping his actions on your body

Leona took you home for the break just so it wouldn’t suck (definitely not because he wanted you to meet his mom or because he loves you and wants you to see your future home. Absolutely not. Audacious of you to think that way reader)

Do you want to kill him? Cause that is most likely the outcome from this

Man’s was just on the phone with his mother (Do phones work the coral sea? This world is magic, of course they do).

He doesn’t hear you come out of the bathroom, but he does glance over to the clock on his desk and look over to see you recording. He of course is blushing lightly because you’re just in a towel, but the blush became nearly as red as Riddle’s hair as when you dropped the towel. And the squeak of surprise he let out was loud enough to alert his mom. He fumbled with his phone before finally hanging up the call.

You might wanna check if he is still breathing. He probably isn’t. You killed him with your hotness (shame on you)

So while Azul sits at his desk still as a statue you shut off the camera (after being satisfied with his reaction) and you walk over and snap your fingers a few times making him snap out of his daze. He starts stammering and tries to cover his face. He just wants to hide in his octo pot the poor baby is embarrassed. Not of you, he would never. He’s embarrassed that he got a nosebleed and a boner.

He hopes the twins never find out about this. Jade knows all. And you’ll probably tell them about this and show them the video (I would)

You know what he wants to see the most? His business succeed duh! Also you sucking him off under his desk while he fills out paperwork for said business

He is on the phone with Jamil who had to go back home for a family emergency. He left you in charge and already asked you the same things he’s talking to Kalim about. Since Kalim was good and did all the stuff he needed but hated to do he got a sleepover with his favorite person (aka YOU)

Anyways, you were taking a shower (because school germs suck) and he was chitchatting away blabbering about what you made for him to eat that day and the grade he got on Crewel’s test when you walked out of the shower. He saw you and immediately got into a better mood waving wildly with that blinding smile of his (Because Jamil is a meanie and doesn’t ever let him have any fun. Kalim’s words to you after he got told no to throwing a party ONE time. It was 3 am)

You were already recording while Jamil was asking another question and Kalim stared at you in silence after you dropped the towel. Jamil called his name about 10 times before he snapped out of his daze

“Jamil I have to go, they’re naked!” he hung up the phone

“KALIM!” Was the last thing you got on video (I would be absolutely mortified, but we all know Kalim says stuff without thinking)

He stumbled getting off the bed and onto his knees looking up at you with his hands on your waist.

You could see all the love and adoration he held for you as you looked down into his eyes. He looked at you (all the time) like you hung the moon and stars (since Kalim is the sun you’re the moon)

You run a hand through his hair and he leans into your touch

So you have to be very careful about how you go about doing this

You had just finished with your shower and walked out of the bathroom recording where Vil was leaned against his headboard talking to his father. When he noticed you he raised an eyebrow. A look of surprise flashed across his face when you dropped the towel.

He was playing games. As usual. But Lilia could be heard yelling at someone through Idia’s headset while Idia was just laughing.

(Does Idia have a bathroom in his room. Most likely) Anyways, Idia being Idia does not notice you coming out of the bathroom or recording so you had to walk up to him and grab his chin with your fingers and turn his attention away from the game.

After successfully grabbing the attention of the antisocial otaku you continued with the prank and dropped the towel.

The shriek he let out was far from human and he pushed away from his desk knocking everything off. His hair was bright pink. Lilia could be heard in the background asking if Idia was okay and what happened. You will definitely be sending him this video much to Idia’s dismay.

“W-why did you d-d-do that?!” He stuttered and started muttering to himself.

You stopped recording at that point because you felt bad, and because he was super close to having a heart attack

You suddenly got an idea. Leaving a muttering Idia to himself you run off to get something from one of his cosplays.

Walking back over you have a set of cat ears now atop your head. You crawl under his desk and pull his chair back into place.

The weather outside was lovely as people passed by and cars drove by. Usually, you would go out alone, but today was an exception since your lovely boyfriend had free time and wanted to go on a small shopping date with you. He made sure today’s schedule was clear and to put his manager on silence so she wouldn’t interrupt your day together. A few people of Vil’s group of people knew about your existence and your relationship with Vil since Vil wanted to keep you secret from his fans. Deep down, he was scared that he’d lose you due to his fame and no matter how many times you reassured him, he still had that fear. Now back to the date. 

You knocked before going in, once you heard Vil, and he was putting the finishing touches on his look for the day. Greeting him with a kiss on the head and sat down on his bed. You ask how he's been, and he tells you about an incident on set of his most recent photoshoot as you listened while admiring your pretty boyfriend. Obviously before you two even left his dorm room, he made sure your outfit was acceptable yet still your style and applied some sunscreen to protect your skin.  

You both continued to walk around as you mainly carried the bags filled with goodies from your excursions. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Vil with an irked expression as he looked at his phone and looked at the screen to see Neige advertising something.  

Then you two headed out and Vil took you to various shops, trying on some clothes and having you try on some before giving an evaluation on what worked with your body type. Talking and laughing throughout the entire time while dodging paparazzi or reporters, you waited patiently while Vil took a picture with some fans before continuing on your small date. 

Neige, the bane of Vil’s existence and topic that he has ranted about you countless times. You’ve met Neige a couple times due to school events or him mistaking you as being part of Vil’s entourage. With the several interactions with him, you noticed he was very aloof and living in his own little bubble. He had the same aura while also giving off aspects of Kalim. There are times that you understand Vil’s frustration towards Negie, but you remain neutral a majority of the time.  

 You moved the bags to your other hand then took his hand into yours before kissing the back of his hand. Vil looked up from his phone, noticing your small gesture, and smiled before putting his phone away. May not be able to take away all of Vil's troubles away, but you can distract him from them for a while. 

"Where are we going?" he asked, confused as you kept smiling. 

"You'll see, I'm treating you to lunch somewhere I like to go." 

You led him to a local restaurant and were welcomed by a familiar face. 

“If it isn’t the devil himself, it’s been a while since I’ve seen you around here, (Y/N).” your friend greeted you with a smile on their face and gave you a quick hug 

“Long time no see, how’ve you been?” 

“Good, keeping everything under control here. I see who’s been keeping you busy. 

A friend of yours sat you both at a table, away from prying eyes, and ordered your meals. You stare out at the small restaurant, taking in the various plants and interior design before turning your gaze back to Vil, who was glancing around at the place, and smiled as you took in your boyfriend’s pretty appearance. Noticing your stare, Vil turned back towards you. 

“Take a picture, it’ll last longer.” He teased, resting his chin on his palm. 

“I already have many pictures of you, but I’d have to say that I have a favorite one.” 

“Oh? Which one would that be, pray tell?” 

You pulled out your phone and tapped on the gallery photo of your favorites before finding it and turning it to Vil. Right as he sees it, he tries to convince you that another one was better and yet you only smiled as you looked back at the picture. It was of him genuinely laughing, nothing too special. No makeup, work related things, or thinking about Neige. It was one of the few that showed the side of Vil that you get to see. By the end of the day, you treated him to a pleasant lunch and shopped a little longer before heading back to campus. 

The next day, you noticed Vil left behind one of his bracelets in your pocket and decided that it would be safer in his care rather than yours. While on the way to your boyfriend’s room, everyone was giving you weird stares as you walked. Rook was acting chippier than usual, maybe it was something about Neige. He then told you about preparing for a storm and then showed you the picture of your date with Vil. 

There were pictures of moments; walking together or going into a store, chatting in the restaurant, and a video of you distracting him from his phone. Scrolling through the comments, a mixture of positive and negative as well as neutral. Rook then showed you the top trending list on Magicam to see,

Quickly you clicked next slide. “Absolutely no one. Nobody in this world is better for me than him” you said grinning when the color returns to his face and he gives you a smile of his own. He leans forward looking at the screen.

“My rose, why is there another slide?” He looks at you with genuine curiosity.

I takes everything in you to continue with the prank (I probably wouldn’t be able to continue because he would look at me. He’s baby). You click to the next slide and the last thing he expected/wanted to see was his ex. Floyd Leech to be exact. His bicolored eyes burned a hole into Riddle as he stared at the screen with his mouth gaping. At that time Cater and Trey walked in and felt the tension in the air. Ace came out from somewhere, he was recording the whole thing making sure to get both the screen and Riddle’s reactions.

“Oh man house warden!” Ace said laughing almost to the point of tears “you should’ve seen your face!”

You made your way to stand behind Trey and Cater. Cater wrapped his arm around your waist (platonically) and took a selfie with you, captioning it “#ripprefect you shouldn’t have pranked the house warden”

Riddle stood up remaining silent looking between you and Ace. “Uh oh” Ace said as he took of running. Riddle started to follow before stopping to the side of your body.

He grabbed your chin and made you look him in the eyes. “I will deal with you later” was what he said before walking off to go find Ace.

After Riddle spent the afternoon collaring your friends (minus Epel and Jack because they volunteered to hunt down Adeuce and Grim) he drags you to his room after he had taken his dorm uniform off and put on his sad pjs (We all have sad pjs don’t lie and say he doesn’t, his sad pjs include a sweater that either you gifted him or one of yours that smells like you)

Please reassure him it was a prank. Because the whole time he was chasing your friends self deprecating thoughts were running through his head making him very sad about your relationship and thinking you were gonna leave him. Also reassure him that Floyd was not involved in this and he won’t have to deal with him.

Just lay with him on his bed holding his body as close to yours as possible, maybe run a hand through his hair. If you hear sniffling or you feel your shirt get wet, no you don’t.

This can go one of three ways depending on what he is doing or what happened earlier that day

If he is napping and you somehow manage to wake him up, he will most likely roll his eyes and growl before grabbing you, then laying on top of you as “punishment” for waking him up

If you manage to find him when he actually went to class he would probably just stand and stare at you before flicking your forehead and walking to whatever class he has next (The best option if you care about your life)

If you happen to find him after a spelldrive scrimmage against Diasomnia that was made mandatory by Vargas, then you will have approximately 0.00000001 seconds left to live.

After you begged and pleaded with Epel not to go through with this today you eventually lost/gave in. You made a mental note to tell Vil about him missing his skincare routine for two days. You managed to find Leona after the match in his bedroom sitting on the edge of the bed mumbling to himself.

How it went down:

You knocked on the open door before walking in and setting your stuff on his desk. “Leo?” Was what he heard that made him cut off his pissed off self tangent. Without saying anything he wrapped his arms around your waist and buried his face in your stomach not saying a word as you began to run your fingers through his hair. “Hey, I know this might not be the best time to ask, but can you help me with my presentation for class. I just wanna record your reaction to my presentation” with that Leona looked up at you slightly glaring.

“Do I get unlimited cuddle and nap privileges if I do?” He said.

“You can have all the cuddles and naps you want” you smile down at him. Because I am going to have a lot of making up to do after this you thought to yourself.

“Alright herbivore” he let your waist go and leaned back on his hands watching as you got everything ready.

Clicking record on your phone you had set up to get his reaction and the screen in view, you clicked to the first slide. “People I would cheat on my boyfriend with” you said trying to keep from grinning. Leona crossed his arms sitting up straight, running his tongue along his front teeth with a smirk egging you on. You gulped and clicked to the next slide. “No body because I’m loyal and I love him” you spoke and Leona rose an eyebrow.

“Go on herbivore, go to the next slide”

“An extra slide?” You pretended to act confused “I probably just hit add slide too many times and there is a blank one.”

Silently he stood up and walked over to you and leaned down to where your faces were inches apart, his hand reached for the mouse and clicked over to the next slide. Where he saw the one he hated the most. That overgrown lizard. Malleus Draconia. A low growl was heard as his gaze was once again staring into your soul. “You have two seconds” he whispered.

You quickly grabbed your phone that was still recording and bolted out of his room. True to his word, Leona waited the two seconds before walking after you out of Savanaclaw. You were running and looking for Jack or Ruggie (who you would have to bribe). Without any luck you ran to the mirror room not looking back to see if Leona was on your tail (get it?). You were about to make it to the mirror room when a heavy body fell on top of you pinning you down to the ground. You were too scared to turn around and see Leona that you barely registered the French that was being spoken. You sighed in relief when you turned around and found it was Rook. You had never been so happy to see your stalker friend.

In your brief moment of relief, you didn’t hear your lazy lion coming up to the two of you. “Ya know, this is the only time I’ve been thankful for the hunter hanging out in Savanaclaw” he eerily spoke.

“Oh! Roi du Leon. I didn’t realize I had caught your prey” Rook said as he stood up and helped you stand as well.

“Don’t worry about it. You made my job a lot easier” the look Leona sent you sent a shiver down your spine. He walked over and threw you over his shoulder and walked back to his room with you saying it was a prank and apologizing over and over. He threw you on the bed and pinned your hands over your head with one hand. “If my prey has the guts to act like a brat, they’re gonna get punished like a brat.”

You did not in fact, forget to snitch on Epel to Vil.

You know that going through with this prank results in your imminent death right?

He was sitting at the vanity in his room applying his make up when you knocked at the door. “Enter” he said not looking at the door.

How it went down:

After knocking you entered the room carrying the necessary equipment to carry out your plan. Sevens, you were going to kill Epel for making you do this. “My queen, I come to ask for your assistance on a project” you say bowing/curtsying. He looks at you in the mirror and raises his eyebrows at the stuff you’re holding before going back to his make up.

“What is the project over sweet potato?”

“Well it’s not really the project. More like the reactions to the project” you said as you began setting up the camera behind the mirror where Vil and the laptop could be seen. “I have to present my project then do a survey thing over the different reactions to the presentation.”

“Very well then, just make sure to get my good side” he said finishing the last of his make up and cleaning his vanity.

“All your sides are good” you place a kiss to his shoulder as to not ruin his make up and hit record. “People I would cheat on my boyfriend with” you speak with a straight face trying to keep your voice from wavering. The look he gave you in the mirror would have been enough to kill anyone else. But not you, you’re his sweet potato. Except for right now.

Quickly clicking to the next slide, “No body. My queen is the most beautiful and wonderful person to ever exist.”

Vil smirks looking at your reflection, “you were on thin ice swee-“ as he glances back to the computer he sees there is a hundred more slides. “Care to explain before I start clicking?”

You stay quiet as Vil starts clicking on the slides. Each one has a picture of the two of you with a message of things you love about him. Smiling he gets to the slide before last where you say something about getting married in the future. He clicks on the last slide, expecting to see a drawing or photoshopped photo of you two getting married. Not Neige LeBlanche! Even the little message underneath the picture saying he was still prettier did not help. Closing the laptop Vil stood up and turned to you leaning against the vanity with crossed arms.

With a nervous laugh you quickly pick up your phone and stop recording. “Oh! Look at the time, I have to feed Grim dinner” you slowly start backing out of his room.

“Actually, Rook will take care of that for you” he says taking steps closer to you, looking scarily calm. In the blink of an eye you felt a hand on your throat(not tight enough to do anything) and slight pain from being pushed against the door. “It looks like I have to remind my sweet potato why I’m the fairest in the land”

How it went down

When Kalim made it to Ramshackle you guided him to the couch where you already had everything set up. He was already smiling from getting to spend time with you, but let’s say you don’t have a heart and you kiss him before you go through with this. He smiles so much brighter, just for it to wiped off his face second from now. You get into position and click on the first slide “People I would cheat on my boyfriend with” you say keeping a straight face. Like I said previously, his face drops and is dead silent. You can see his lip trembling and tears forming at his lash line.

Before you can click to the next slide, Kalim is up and almost out the door crying real tears and stammering about how he promised Jamil he would help him with something and needed to leave. Now, if you don’t want to go after him, that’s fine. But be prepared for a very pissed off Jamil on your door quicker than you can say overblot. Jamil will make you apologize by any means necessary. But if you do go after him and catch him before he gets back to Scarabia then you should be able to apologize and maybe just MAYBE he will forgive you. He does love you after all. Even after you do stuff like this. If he does accept your apology, then expect a koala Kalim to be by you 25/8 for a while. You hurt him and he still somewhat things you’re gonna leave him. So humor him will ya? Also, this gives Jamil a break, he doesn’t know whether to hit you or thank you.

Why would you do this to him.

He is already insecure in your relationship and wants to hide in his octo pot most of the time. This is just gonna set him off.

Azul would probably just sit quietly thinking very bad thoughts. Or on the off chance he does the anime glasses push up thing, then you’re screwed.

How it happened:

You quietly walked into his office (after confirming with Jade that he was just working on stuff for the lounge). He didn't look up from his papers thinking it was Jade bringing him more paperwork. So you quietly set up your phone and hit record before opening the laptop and setting it on his desk. That of course got his attention. "Good evening Angelfish. To what do I owe the pleasure?" He said setting down his pen and papers.

"I need your help on a project. It will only take a second" you said and he nodded. You clicked on the first slide, "people I would cheat on my boyfriend with" you spoke looking at the camera. Azul had raised eyebrows and his mouth was agape. You clicked on the next slide before wrapping your arms around him and kissing his cheek. "No one, because cheating is wrong and I love him unconditionally." You felt Azul getting hot from the blush rising to his cheeks. Then you clicked to the last slide, where a picture you snuck of Jade (you thought he didn't know but he did) was on the screen.

Now Azul knew this was a prank but that didn't stop the negative thoughts. But, you remember when I said he does the anime glasses thing and you're screwed. Well, you're screwed. "Is that so?" He spoke lowly. "Well, how about we do something about that then?" He stood up from his chair and walked out of the office coming back a second later with the eel in tow.

"A little octopus told me about the stunt you pulled" Jade smirked, sitting down on the couch. "How very naughty of you."

Azul sat back at his desk and picked up the papers. "Since you wanted to involve Jade in this, I think it's only fair he gets to help in punishing you. Unfortunately, the lounge doesn't close for a few more hours. So jade and I will be discussing what we will do, and then I'll send Floyd to fetch you after the lounge closes for the day."

"Is it too late to apologize for my actions?" You smiled weakly.

"Yes Angelfish. You are dismissed for now" Azul goes back to his paperwork as Jade ushers you out of the office, closing and locking the door behind you.

"This will be much better than a raise" you heard Jade say through the door.

He comes back in time for your nightly walk with a smile as bright as the sun. "Child of man, I have taken care of any other potential suitors that could possibly take you away from me."

"You're not joking, are you, sweet potato?" The actor asked, a small smirk creeping over his face.

Y/N flushed and shook his head, "I'm not. It's something I've been thinking of, and I want to try it… but…" He trailed off nervously.

Vil's smirk grew and he walked over to his beloved, "But what, dear sweet potato? Spit it out." He leaned in to whisper in Y/N's ear, "I know you're not usually shy~"

Y/N gathered up his courage, "I wasn't sure if you would want to do something like that. I didn't want you to think I'm weird or something."

The blonde shook his head, "No, of course not, darling. I absolutely love you and I would try almost anything with you at least once. Do you want to do this now?"
