chest binding psa
guys srsly be safe with binding your chest, most binders when bought new come with care instructions specific to the binder and the company but just generally make sure to be careful and if ur currently wearing one just take a moment to reflect and make sure you haven't been wearing it for over about 8 hours (give or take) take it from me, ive nearly broken my ribs while binding and it SUCKS, and while my dysphoria isn't too severe safety should come first, just be aware that binding can go wrong sometime and PLEASE BUY FROM A REPUTABLE COMPANY because if a binder isn't made right it can potentially be more dangerous than a well made binder

As an afab enby person, I’m tired of the reactions I get to growing my hair out. No I’m not detransitioning, and no I’m not “embracing my femininity”. I’m growing my hair out to be more like Jonathan Sims. Nothing else.

Whenever I speak to an AFAB person there’s almost an 100% guarantee they have some kind of health issue that they should be seeing a doctor about, but don’t because “I’m just being dramatic”. I know people who have had relentless chronic pain to the point they are unable to move an entire limb, people who had asthma for years and never saw a doctor about it, girls I’ve grown up with who will be gone for a considerable amount of time and when they come back say “oh you know just period cramps”. I’ve experienced this myself, subconsciously dismissing my own pain due to the amount of times I’ve walked into a doctors office or spoken to an adult I trusted and been told “it’s good for you to struggle a bit” “it’s not that bad”, “stop trying to get attention”.
A medical issue that is debilitating or uncomfortable in your life is something to see a doctor about. You’re not dramatic for not wanting to be in pain all the time, for not wanting to feel terrible and tired and sick. Being in pain all the time is not just something that you’re supposed to live with.
Dismissing people for their pain is yet another thing that makes health care inaccessible.

I wish boobs we're attached by velcro so I could take them off when I want them gone and put them back when it's good for the outfit

perisex people!!! please read and apply to your active daily actions if possible. dont like this post— reblog!!
the binary AGAB/ASAB terms were created with the intent of describing how doctors would mutilate newborns into being "proper females" (afab) or "proper males" (amab)... you dont wanna be using these! they're inherently tied to the medical malpractice involving newborn infants, toddlers, kids and teens. be mindful of that!
i hope that this can be taken lightly and in a "cmon guys this is no good to say" tone. please do take this seriously all-together because its something that irks a plethora of intersex people. have a lovely day!

Seeing pads say stupid shit like "blah blah #like a girl" is so infuriating. Brother, shut the fuck up. I do NOT feel like a girl right now, I feel like a fucked up reverse vampire. Give me a cork and a sponge this shit needs to stop right now

PSA! Birth control is NOT just for making sure people don't get pregnant!
It is also used for:
hormone regulation
to stop periods
to regulate periods
And other things! These are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
The amount of times I've told people I'm on birth control and then get weird looks because they just assume it's due to me being sexually active is way too many. So like. Yeah. To those who have more information on this feel free to add <3

Just finished reading Come As You Are by Dr. Emily Nagosaki. It was so informative. I knew sex ed in america was like really bad, but there were so many things in the book that I had no idea about. This book is especially helpful for women but everyone should read it. It also addresses things women commonly struggle with like eating disorders, self confidence, and chronic stress.
I can't believe I only heard about this because Shayne Topp from smosh mentioned it in a reddit video. ANOTHER BANGER FROM SHAYNE FROM ICARLY.

Is it that women's bodies are a mystery or is it that research for AFAB people is not well funded and even the information we do have is considered taboo therefore many women and AFAB individuals don't even know the names for there own anatomy let alone how it works. Maybe the idea that women's bodies are a mystery that no one will ever understand is not empowering and is in fact a tradegy

any other afabs struggling with whether they're potentially trans/enby and are experiencing gender dysphoria/discomfort or if it is just discomfort with the way our perception of women have been twisted by misogyny, patriarchy, and heteronormativity?
like do I feel a disconnect from other women because I'm not one or is it because some of the women I'm around have bought into a misogynistic narrative that boxes them in?
do I have an issue with being a "girlfriend" in my relationships because it's a weird heteronormative word (like girl as a friend = romance) or is it because I'm not a girl?
am I being an obnoxious and harmful person when I feel like "I am not like other girls" or am I really not a girl?
is the thrum I get from being referred to with they/them pronouns from gender euphoria or is it simply relief at not being seen as a woman first and a person last?
like if society and language were different, would how I identify change? does it matter?

It's insane how (some) cis men think it's completely normal and okay to have a wife that loves them unconditionally and serves them at every whim and caters her whole life to her, meanwhile I feel bad and selfish for wanting one that will sometimes fuck me and actually give a shit about my personal life and give a bit of physical affection sometimes.
Maybe female socialization is real and it's making me incredibly dysphoric. Just one of those things transition can't resolve.
