the general concept for this was: it belongs to an oracle deck (non existent, this came out of a dream I had awhile back) where the illustrations are all romans and they all straight up tell you that everything is doomed to failure no matter what you pull lol
also this is quintus arrius

Dick Grayson is Bruce Wayne’s ward and Robin is Batmans son, there is no argument from either party. They get no say. Its just how it is. JL members have also dubbed him as Batmans feral gremlin demon thing and Batman the Devil himself who crafted Robin using his own soul. Robin cackled madly after hearing that. Batman laughed and the JL is extremely concerned and afraid now. Nightwing is Batman’s son and partner and he is Bruce Wayne’s most common rescuer, even though his main territory is in Blud.
Jason Todd is Bruce Wayne's son and Robin is Batmans son, and both very much adore this title and treasure it. Red Hood is not Batman’s son, but he is Bruce Wayne’s.
Tim Drake is Bruce Wayne’s emotional support child and child. Not son, his child. Robin is Batmans loyal partner and Batman is his father figure and mentor. Red Robin is Batman’s son. Drake has been disowned from the family and does not exist.
Stephanie Brown is not Bruce Wayne’s child. She steals his food and his money and his children on occasion but she does not really belong to him. Try telling him that though and you've got another thing coming. Robin is Batman’s greatest  annoyance and she wears that as a fucking badge of honor. Batgirl is actually Batman's nemesis but not in like a Joker kind of way, more in a 'she steals things from his utility belt just before he tries to pull it out or drops encouraging notes on his patrol and also hacks his comms to play the same song over and over again' kind of way. Batman has been heard screaming her name like a curse on many occassions. Spoiler is Batman’s even greater annoyance and on occasion she allows herself to be his daughter. Batman does not get to decide these terms.
Barbara Gordon is not Bruce Wayne’s daughter. He is her weird uncle who she also considers her mother and her step father who she also sees as her protector on the rare occasion she actually needs it but for the most part hes just the divorced father who shows up at her house sometimes asking for visiting rights. (sometimes she says yes) Batgirl is Batman’s loyal partner and confident and technically his daughter in law but she doesn't like that descriptor, but he is her mentor. Oracle is Batman’s stalker and ass kicker if he doesn't take care of himself.
Cassandra Cain is Bruce Wayne's daughter through thick and thin and neither of them really get a say. Batgirl is Batman’s daughter and no one dares argue it. Orphan too. And Black Bat.
Damian Wayne is Bruce Wayne’s undisputed son, and Robin is Batman’s undisputed son as well (though heir is another matter.)
Duke Thomas is Bruce Wayne’s legally guarded(bruce is his legal guardian). The Signal doesn't associate with the Batman at all, but some consider him Batman’s mentee, and many would even argue Batman is very serious in his mentor/father figure role, seen on many occasions forcing a granola bar or hug onto the younger
All in all, every single child, adopted or not, it is very clear to every outsider, that they forced themselves into Bruce Wayne and Batman’s life and routine and while both males are vastly different, they clearly share the utter confusion about being parents, and whether they even are or not, because they don't get a say.

Dick Grayson dies alone.
A drug bust, a rogue show off, a gang war. It didn’t matter in the end—it should have been simple but a well timed explosion or gunshot or gas fucked everything up.
And Dick Grayson is left to die alone.
Well not truly alone.
He can hear the rest of his family in his ear piece; Oracle’s yelling instructions over the comm lines as everybody scrambles to wrap up their fights and find him before it’s too late.
Dick is bleeding out, he knows it and they know it too, but despite their worries they have hope. Because it’ll work out. It always works out.
Just hang on a little longer.
It’ll be fine, you hear?
Just keep talking. Don’t go to sleep, we’re almost there.
Dick entertains them, cracks poor jokes between bloody coughs and shallow breaths.
The realisation eventually sets in after a moment, when Oracle curses the trackers and the team looks out at the vast expanse of damage they have to cover.
Dick falls quiet too, listening to them come to the same conclusion he did.
Jason is the first to start speaking again as they begin their search through the city for their brother.
You did good, Dick. Don’t worry. We’ll find you.
Not a promise of how or if or when.
He will be found.
Softer words followed after Jason’s first, still reassurances but no longer the same promises of safety they were frantically making before.
Dick dies alone, listening to his friends and family speak to him softly over the comms.
They do find him, hours later, after his body’s gone cold and his blood as drained from his skin. They promise that they’ll keep him dead, let him rest in the grounds behind Wayne Manor, where he gets to find and rejoin his parents once again.

Oracle gets hit by fear toxin. It was bound to happen eventually, even she can’t be safe all the time. She just has to power on through and wait for either an antidote or the toxin to run out.
She predicts it’ll be flashbacks. Camera flashing. Gunshots. Joker. But it’s not. Instead, it’s voices from her systems. Asking for help. Begging for her. Bruce. Dick. Tim. Jason. Stephanie. Cass. Dinah. Helena. Her dad. Everyone looking to her for help but there's too much for even her to account for all at once. The voices are unbearable and she’s frozen from the overwhelming pressure of a million eyes on her.
All seeing, all knowing Oracle, frozen in her fear.

Okay, I keep seeing this post and it had, like, 900 notes last time, so I need to respond.
Yes, Steph and Barbara are part of the batfam.
This fandom seems to not fucking understand what a found family is. A found family doesn't follow the traditional family's dynamic. People aren't blood related or legally related. Have y'all never seen a friend group in a media being referred as a found family?! That doesn't mean they are siblings, or that some of them are the parents, or that they cannot date. It just means that they are close like a family should, that they can depend on each other always and forever like a family should. Whatever happens, they are a family.
Found family is LITERALLY one of th theme of Batman. The batfam has ALWAYS been a found family. All these people who lost their blood family and found each other to fight for justice. Bruce lost his family when he was a kid, he is building a new one from the ground, and a family isn't just his children. Bruce and Alfred are not blood related, and Alfred is barely referred to as Bruce's father-figure in anything Batman related. However, he was always seen as Bruce's family. Bruce also sees some members of the Justice League as his family (Clark, for example). Lucius and Leslie have also always been his family, and Lucius is not his father at all, the man has another family, a traditional one, but he is still in the batfam. Dick spend DECADES not being adopted, but he still considered Bruce and Alfred his family. Dick also sees the Titans as his family, that doesn't make his teammates his siblings or stops him from dating them. Tim, even tho he is not Bruce's son and has a family, is referred by Dick as "his brother". Dick and Tim literally DID NOT want to be adopted by Bruce, but the man and his butler were still family for them, even when they did NOT want Bruce as their father. Cass and Bruce go through all Batgirl (2000) having a father-daughter coded relationship, and Cass and Barbara have a mother-daughter coded relationship, and her biological parents are there sometimes, and she isn't Bruce's daughter yet. Cass is both Bruce and Barbara's daughter. Barbara has always been seen as a part of the batfam since she first appeared, before a lot of us were even born, and it's not because she is Bruce's daughter or dating Dick, it's because the bats are a family that don't give a shit about traditional family's dynamic. Damian is the only one who actually call Bruce "Father", most of the time the others don't. Dick has lived 20 years with Bruce in his life, as his father-figure, and he never calls him "Dad". Some comics don't even referred to anyone than Damian as Bruce's kid. Some comics like to remind everyone that Bruce is Dick and Tim's father, but most of them do not. Most of the time, they are just a bunch of young people and teens living on his property and eating his food. And even through all of this, they were a family. It's not about blood, it's not about adoption and some papers, it's not about Bruce being your father, it's about trust.
The Wayne family and the Batfam are two different things. Huntress, Helena Bertinelli, is in the batfam. Azrael, Jean-Paul Valley, is in the batfam sometimes (in Batman: Detective Comics 2016, he is). Harley Quinn is also in the batfam sometimes (in Injustice). Lucius Fox and Luke are in the batfam. Harper and Collen Row are in the batfam, but Bruce kind of sees them as his children (in Batman and Robin Eternal at least).
People aren't a part of the batfam because they are Bruce's children, but because they choose each others, again and again, through the highs and the lows. It's about fighting Bruce, taking his shit, and still helping his ass.
And while we are it, batkids doesn’t mean "Bruce's children", it means "the kids around the big Bat, helping in the Bat's mission, that are the Bat's responsibility". YES, Barbara is a batkid, and it doesn't make Bruce her father or a father-figure. She was a kid and batgirl, so she is a batkid.

... D'you think Layton let the "your famous intuition" bit slide the first few times because he didn't want to ruin this little bit of supernatural for Luke, since Luke is so involved in curses and predictions at the time they first meet
But after a while Luke caught on that Layton just figures things out ahead of time a lot, but calling it his intuition stuck and now it's an inside joke

Hilarious to me that any time something goes wrong in a Batman comic or fic they always have to explain that ‘oh the comms are down/oracle isn’t here right now’ because they know that is Babs were here then the issue would be solved before anyone even realised something was wrong

An underrated aspect of Oracles of Fire (and DIOM) is what a SHIPPER Enoch is
Like. My dude has many OTPs. He literally goes down to Earth to give Walter love life advice when he's like fourteen, counsels Ashley in the stairwell to Hell, helps keep everyone the right ages even though there's all kinds of weird time warping, and also sets up a whole triple wedding for three of them. And gets them their dream bridesmaids and person to perform the ceremony

Why is there barely any action in this show? I don't hate the story changes at all like Percy choosing Annabeth, why Percy sends Medusa's head to Olympus, and taking Uncle Ferdinand's death more seriously. But the book is action-packed and there is basically NO action in this show and it just feels odd. But...you know...they kinda made up for it by showing Hermes at the end.

okay so i just finished reading chapter 16 of the oracle series and I gotta be 100% honest with you.
last chapter I was half convinced that when zhongli went on his mutilation spree he chopped off his dick at one point. I'm sorry so sorry but the phrasing and the situation made my mind jump there immediately. I feel so stupid now I'm gonna go cry /hj
I mean, you aren't wrong-
Dragons got two dicks right? So hypothetically he goes around in human form aka with only one dick. And he chopped off all his dragon parts which would HYPOTHETICALLY include that second dick.
Even if he didn't, he flat out said that he teared out all his scales. So if you think his dick(s) have scales at least on the base. Then he definitely ripped off a part.
But I totally get where the confusion comes from lol. I did leave it ambiguous to see where everyone's mind would wander off too.

I know being blinded by nostalgia is, like, zelda fans' Entire Thing but let's be honest the people who claim alttp still holds up and doesn't need a remake are either full of shit or just genuinely out of touch with reality lmao. that game is ugly as hell and feels super clunky to play.
