GUYS DOES ANYBODY MIND HELPING ME FIND A FANFIC

I was reading it for the longest time but I never saved it after I finished it and can’t find it anywhere 😭😭

Basically, it’s a post episode 200 & somewhere else jmart fic where Jon and Martin are trying to fix all of the things in their relationship that they weren’t able to pay attention to before (such as newfound nightmares, trust issues, setting boundaries, etc.). It has the good ending of them deciding to buy a cat, but it has a bunch of angst before then, with some comfort breaking up the sad as well. Lot’s of arguing but also lots of bonding.

For the majority of the fic, Jon is also using a wheelchair due to receiving a spinal injury from when he was stabbed, if that helps at all?

I’m just desperate to find it again so I can reread it at some point, because it’s absolutely AMAZING. So if anybody knows it or can help me find it, I would be so extremely thankful 🙏🙏

I need help finding a fic

I have this old screenshot of it because I thought it was hilarious, basically, Sirius is mad because regulus and James got arrested for indecent exposure. I can only remember a few things about this fic, I remember they first hooked up at a house party at I think Evan and Bartys literally in their bed. Also I’m pretty sure this is a trans reg fic and I can’t find it, pls help it was so good (I think there was also a part where they did body shots of that helps?)

since I've seen it talked about in several places recently:

if you are going to do a whump- or kink- or ANY-tober or other similar challenges please please please don't post them as one fic with 31 chapters unless it actually is one coherent fic. if they're 31 completely separate fics or ficlets then please just make a collection for them or just post them as separate fics. it doesn't matter if they're only 100 words or if you think they're too small or insignificant to post alone, they're not.

and why this?

because if you post all 31 of them in one fic the tagging is absolutely useless. if I look for things to read on ao3 I'm gonna look at the tags, and if the tags include something that's a dealbreaker for me, i won't even click on the fic. I might not even SEE the fic because I've filtered out the nope-tag! so I'm gonna lose out on reading 30 perfectly nice fics because of one fic that my nope-tag applied to.

ao3 is about archiving. it's about clear tagging and being informative. there is nothing informative about it if the tags in the fic apply to random chapters while others have nothing to do with it. it makes so much more sense to have each work as an individual fic with its own individual tags and warnings, so readers can make informed choices.

of course, you do you. I can't police what other people decide to do. but personally, I find it incredibly frustrating to weed through 31 chapters to find the ones I actually want to read. so I don't. I automatically scroll past all works posted like that. and I know some others do, too.

there is absolutely no shame in posting short things on ao3. there is no minimum word count. no one is going to look at you funny if you post a small ficlet on its own, I promise. it's just going to make some readers very happy when they can actually find the things they want to read.

so, please. at least consider the upsides of posting each work as their own fic.

Canva sucks but I refuse to use Adobe if I can help it and I don't know any other programs that have all these frillies and flourishes and the grids and rulers.

So I guess I'm going to spend the rest of my life formatting this--One thousand. Five hundred. Pages. ((Already bigger than Manacled, despite my best efforts.))

All this--before formatting for chapter breaks and first and last chapter pages. Oh, remind me to format all the apostrophes and quotation marks before I move more text to Canva because I can't format those in Canva.

I think it looks pretty goddamn good (also, senpai, notice me like me pleeeeeaaaaaase).

I can't believe how much work Canva is making me do. There isn't even a tool to flow text from one text box to the next, there's no way to tab text, italics don't come over either. Any line or character spacing, there's no way I can tell to save those settings from one text box to the next. As far as I can tell, if I want page numbers, I have to do those manually too, as well as my headers. Luckily, the headers were easy to apply to all the pages, as were the page numbers. Applying and formatting the text are going to be the pains in my ass here.

Why would I pay for this......... just to access more frillies and flourishes??? Oh, and fonts, I guess. Naahhhhhhhh.

I think one of the funniest tgcf fanfic tropes is the different reunion type where Hua Cheng painstakingly searches every corner of the earth for hundreds of years, exhausting every resource imaginable, following every fraction of lead, but always inevitably comes up empty, only for Xie Lian to randomly walk right through the front door of paradise manor or fall from the sky or smth on a casual Sunday afternoon.

Then Hua Cheng turns or looks up, ready to disperse whoever just had the audacity, and comes face to face with the love of his life who was just dragged there by a magical bracelet or a gifted to him by cowardly gods or used as collateral in the gambling den or whatever other wild thing that would only happen to Xie Lian.

And the best part is when Xie Lian is getting ready to explain himself to the All Powerful Infamous Ghost King, but has to pause and wait as he notes the full-system malfunction that is clearly going on inside Hua Cheng’s head at the moment, judging by the look of pure shock/disbelief on his face lmao

Fix 1 - From FFNET most definitely. I could hardly process what happened that time but I remember that Sakura somewhat timetraveled to the past and hoped to fix the uchiha massacre?? She actually allied with Mikoto and helped her to avoid the uchiha massacre. I think this fic was an itasaku fic. But eventually mikoto died while in battle. I’m sorry if my details seems vague but thats what my foggy mind only remembers

i'm sorry but i find it lowkey hilarious that in almost every modern au merthur fic, arthur's a CEO/CEO's son. i know it's not intentional, but it's so funny to think that we immediately translate prince/king of an entire kingdom to the head of a business. because they hold the same power, resources, and money. like i feel like we SELDOM make arthur a prince in a modern au. nope. give our boy a corporate office job, he'll still hold the same power over people's income and means of supporting their families. AND I EAT IT UP EVERY TIME
