𝙒𝙄𝙏𝙃 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙏𝙒𝙊 𝙆𝙄𝘿𝙎 at a sleepover at their grandparent’s place tonight, charlotte and floyd have the rare occurrence of having the house to themselves. they had taken advantage of the lack of responsibilities by opening a bottle of wine an hour ago and were now sitting side by side on the sofa, slightly buzzed and sharing stories from their past. while the blonde was normally guarded about being close to a man since breaking up with her ex-boyfriend a few years ago, floyd was an exception to that rule. it was easy to lower her guard considering she was so head over heels for him, feelings she kept buried deep inside in fear of rejection and the complications of crossing that line. she knew that one day her job as his nanny would come to an end and she would have to say goodbye to the three people she grew to adore. so for now, she enjoys this moment with him while she still has the time to do so. ❝ …and anyway, since then i haven’t been able to go in the ocean. jellyfish are terrible! ❞ she laughs softly, nose wrinkling for a moment before she took a sip from her merlot. swallowing the red liquid, she places the glass on the living room table and turns to him again, brown hues meeting his own. ❝ what about you, huh?  what’s your biggest fear? ❞

once he is kinda used to it hell just groan and softly push the palm of his hand against your head to make you let go

if your teeth leave marks he WILL keep you collared and not allow you to come near him until the mark dissappears

will wipe off the saliva off bc he thinks its kinda unsanitary

If you bite him sneakily (like how a cat may nuzzle your hand before trying to maim you) he will feel lowkey betrayed, but generally wont tell you off unless it actually hurt him

You held his hand, pulling it up to press it up against your cheek, looking into his eyes as your lips left a quick kiss on his palm, his own face flushing a rich red. Your lips pulled at the corners in a smile he knew too well, but he wasn't quick enough to retract his arm from your hold before your teeth sunk into his hand. It was a soft bite, not too hard. He sighed, pulling his hand away and looking at you with a dissapointed-- but flustered-- face.

if you nibble gently on him he will ask you if that's all youve got and bite down on your shoulder so hard you're sure he tried to eat you alive (he didn't even put enough pressure to leave a bruise, but it sure did feel like it)

sorry but you have no chance of out-biting him, the moment you bit him for the first time you opened a door that could never be closed

whenever you are in bitting distance you HAVE to keep an eye out for his maw and any suspicious movement bc he WILL lounge and bite you whenever he can

if you leave marks he... he will be flaunting them, cheeky bastard, and be prepared, for what comes, goes, and you may find yourself some sharp canines indented on your skin

His arm was around your shoulder, his forearm near to your face. He wasn't paying attention to anything in particular, dozing off but still awake, eyes threatening to close the sooner he gets close to falling asleep. You lean into his arm, thinking for a few second before deciding that, since he was not aware of his surroundings, this was your time to bite him without him biting back. And so you did, gently biting on the exposed skin of his arm. You heard a chuckle, warm breath tickling your cheek as sharp teeth bit into it. "Did you think I would not reciprocate, herbivore?"

hes both hard and soft when you bite into him??? like octopuses dont have bones and are squishy but that also means he is pure muscle.... so when you bite him he is soft but then he involuntarily flexes and now it feels like youre biting brick

he is generally very easy to fluster because hes not very used to affection (not coming from his mother or step-father)

depending on where you bite he will yelp or giggle bc he is quite ticklish

doesn't hate it but doesn't necessarily love it either, just understands that that is how you show your love for him (and appreciates it) but would rather you don't do it in public or he WILL die.

if your teeth leave marks hes going to die, crawling back into his tiny octopot and not leaving until the teeth-shaped bruise dissappears

You leaned against his body, eyes roaming around his desk as he filed some documents. Not that you were paying attention to what he was writting, instead resting your chin on his shoulder and looking at him from the corner of your eye. You opened your mouth slightly, moving slowly to not alert him of your plans. With your mouth closing on his shoulder, he yelped, his pen rolling out of his hand and clanking against the floor. He looked frantically at you, eyes wide and face flushed.

his favorite place to bite you back is your cheek, he loves grabbing it with his teeth and pulling softly, the way you laugh when he does so leaves butterflies on his stomach

Your hands held his as he excitedly spoke, telling you all about what he did for the day. It was a nice, domestic activitie. He would tell you about how his day went and you'd listen, every once in a while quipping in with a word or two, or a funny sentence in response. his skin is super thin and sensible so he bruises easily please do be careful bc any mark will make him faint (and will give him another excuse to not go outside)

The only thing that came out of his mouth was a mumble, his eyes trained on the device intently. You saw the way his mouth opened and closed a couple of times, no sound coming out, before he leaned against your arm, his sharp teeth scraping against your arm. A giggle escaped your mouth as you leaned forward, biting gently on his shoulder as a response.

Nkulu has long, waist length hair that is orange and red at the top and slowly shifts to light blue, like this:

However, unlike the picture, he has braids similar to this:

He often ties his hair in a pontail. However, he also loves to try out different hairstyles as much as he can. He has dark red eyes. His lower half is that of a Sally Lightfoot Crabs (which are aa brazilian crab!), and it is blue, black, gold, and red! Like this:

It makes him look extremely big and intimating even though he isn't. He's black (for the Americans/non-South Africans, I don't mean "not white" I mean black), tall, and very fit. He doesn't have pincers, but he does have claws.

Personality:

Nkulu is actually a very chill person. You could almost call him the stoner/surfer dude type. He gets excellent grades and is extremely dedicated to whatever he decides to do. He's honest to a fault, almost too honest, but will happily trip someone up if it benefits him. He's warm and easily excitable and always ready to try and learn new things. He's a bit of a jokester as well.

•Nkululeko means "freedom" in Xhosa

•Nkulu is South African (whatever twst's equivalent is??) and one parent is Xhosa, and the other is Brazilian

•He thinks Riddle is great, especially post-OB Riddle

We've had a lot of upsets coming to this moment, and with a tense Top 4 Winner's Bracket showdown, only two albums remain for the spot in Grands against the TBA Loser's Bracket Winner. Vote now or forever hold your peace :)

Being the championship match for Winner's Bracket, I feel the need to list down some of the reasons I think managed to get The Wall and Wish You Were Here this far. Feel free to add some of your own!

The Wall;

The multimedia aspect of the album, having a live show and film accompanying it, definitely makes this album much more accessible to new fans

The cultural influence both the album and the film has had - the iconography of the hammers, the adoption of Another Brick Pt 2 as a protest song and the more general influence the film has had on many directors over the years can't be understated

Roger fans will likely be out in full force to defend this album

Wish You Were Here;

Despite having beat Piper in Top 4, I imagine this album coming so far will be a consolation prize for the Syd fans, considering the whole album is dedicated to him

The album's main attraction, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, is often praised as one of the best Pink Floyd songs of all time, with a lot of people who are very emotionally invested in seeing it recognised

It's David's and Rick's favourite album innit

He never had to start from so low, already being a well-established artist. Well, a member of a well-known band, at least. And that’s just the problem. He knows who he is in a group. As a band, they all had their roles to play, it all seemed so cut and dry. But going solo, he just feels… lost.

Which is why he’s turned to The Underground Scene. He’s heard of it, but never been, and trying to get information on where the nearest underground was was like pulling teeth. These scenes are a well-kept secret from a great many mainstream spaces, because the Trolls that play there don’t usually have a well-developed space themselves like the other genres do. These areas are coveted by many smaller genres and subgenres. The mainstream have it easy with their whole kingdoms and villages to play in, but groups like Indie, Punk, Goth, and various others don’t have that. So, to the Underground they took, crafting widely spread out concert arenas for themselves. Literal holes in the ground.

It’s the last place anyone expects to see such a brightly colored Pop Troll, but nothing is vibing right with Floyd’s pursuit of a solo career. He’s desperate for inspiration and to experiment and possibly discover more of who he is as an individual.

The path into The Underground is a bit convoluted. Ominous, heavy noises echo off the walls. A sense of dread fills his chest as the heavy strums reverb deep in his bones. It only grows heavier as he enters the concert area. The lyrics begin as soon as he does, and he’s… not sure what to make of them starting, “My name is Mud.”

Bioluminescent fungi help to light the stage, along with other light sources that were gathered to make the artists visible to the audience. Most Trolls occupying the area are darker in color, generally from grungier music subgenres and derivatives of Rock and Metal. Some are more colorful, however, so he doesn’t immediately stick out too much.

Finally, he sees the source of the heavy reverb making his skeleton feel like it’s about to vibrate out of his body. The bassist. In the blue-toned light, she looks more grey-toned, dark red hair with bangs covering her eyes, her mouth never moving from the neutral expression it’s stuck in. She doesn’t move at all, really… only her hands as she strums such an intense bass line with the drums only making the room shake more. Such a deadpan expression and her general lack of movement around the stage while everyone else was throwing themselves about it would make one suspect that she doesn’t want to be there.

Floyd clung the your back, his arms surrounding your shoulders as he leaned most of his weigh on you. This was usual occurrence. The clingy eel was a lover of your personal space, seemingly unable to leave place where air could pass between the two of you.

You didn’t exactly hate it, but it was sometimes too much. You tried to turn around, he simply softened his grip, allowing you to come face to face with him, his arms still holding into your shoulders. A dopey grin on his face as he leaned closer to you. He sometimes reminded you more of a dog than an eel.

You chuckled at his antics, grabbing his face and biting into his soft cheek. As you pulled away, you saw a glint on his eyes, his smile looking sharper than before, his pointy teeth fully on display as he dragged out your name, before leaning with his mouth slightly agape.
