You know the whole cereal debate surrounding Dick and how some people believe he eats cereal because he's too tired to make a full meal to eat? Yeah, well, I relate to that hardcore now. The last thing I wanna do is wait around for food to cook after working for 12 or more hours. As soon as I come home, I toss shit into a blender and down that smoothie as quick as I can so that I can spend more time showering/relaxing before I have to sleep.

For example:

Dick, who has wings and gold eyes and no memories: was captured after trying to kill some guy wearing his past best friend's uniform. He keeps on trying to kill him even though he has no memories, but something feels wrong.

Later, at Mt. Justice:

The person who was wearing said uniform: Aforementioned best friend, Wally West who had supposedly died, currently getting round two of gay panicking due to his best friend.

Dick became a talon after that because he wanted to avenge his best friend who he was crushing on for years, and when BFF came back, he was already brainwashed.

But when Wally came back and his bestfriend was gone, he began to not reveal his identity to anyone else, rarely even taking it off near his teammates and even adding a gas mask "to be safer and to not eat bugs by accident while I'm running."

But then Wally is somewhat familiar when Wally takes his mask off to calm down Dick, and when Dick freezes because "wtf does this guy make me feel like what Olaf would be like in the summer without the magic cloud? Wait, who's Olaf and what magic cloud? I should report this to the court!" Wally takes the opportunity to Zip forward and hug Dick while massaging in-between Dick's wings because that's where Dick was always sore, and Dick starts purring.

Other people are like: Tf?

And then batfam, arrowfam, and flashfam are all like: DW they are always like this.

If Dick had succeeded in killing the Joker (albeit unintentionally) it would have fucked Jason up.

Either he learns from a news source that Joker died and goes digging or Talia finds out and tells him. Bottom line he most likely comes away with the conclusion that Nightwing killed the Joker for Robin. He wasn't there, he's not going to know that it was the Joker mentioning Jason by name that sent Dick over the edge. Short of hacking the bat computer, which might not even include the detail, which he may not even have the means to do, he'd never know that until he confronted Dick.

So to Jason, the Joker kills him and absolutely nothing changes but the Joker takes this new Robin and everything changes? You can just imagine this heartache fueled rage chanting in his head. What makes this Robin so fucking special?

Dick has his nose in a fresh mug of tea, inhaling the steam as deep as he can to help his clogged sinuses, when he hears the thunder of footsteps. He glances up just as Tim slams into the kitchen, eyes wide and chest heaving. Tim lights up at the sight of his brother, grinning mischievously, and shifts to scurry to a hiding spot mere seconds before Jason appears, breathing just as heavily but scowling. His cheeks are pink, his ears are bright red. Dick cackles internally, careful not to give away the game

"Where. Is. He?" he growls. "I'm gonna fucking murder him."

Dick tilts his head and takes a serene sip of his tea. "Who?"

"Playing stupid doesn't look good on you," Jason sneers, eyes roaming around the kitchen. He pauses on Dick, and they narrow. "...your sweatshirt is moving."

"It's called breathing?"

Jason stares at him for a beat, then quick as a snake, he lunges for Dick. Tim scrambles out of his hood with a chittering laugh, nails pricking the back of Dick's neck and making him wince. His two brothers are careful not to jostle him too much in the mad scramble of cat-and-mouse, so Dick continues to lean against the counter amidst the chaos, hiding his smile behind his mug.

"You little rat!" Jason grabs Tim over and over again, but he just slips through his grip like a noodle. "I swear to God, if you don't - fuck! Did you just fucking bite me?!"

Tim yawns right in his face, showing off his tiny sharp teeth. Dick gives in and laughs out loud, wheezing and snorting, and laughing even harder when Jason glares at him. Tim just flops over in Jason's hands, seemingly bored with their game now. And secure in the knowledge that Jason won't actually do anything to him.

"What did he do?" Dick asks.

"Like you don't know!"

"I don't, actually."

Because there are so many possibilities.

Jason fings Tim at him. He's gentle about it, but Tim screeches in surprise anyway. Dick catches his brother one handed and slings him over his shoulder.

"He fucking changed my modulator to - to - !" He lets out an inarticulate noise.

Tim shifts back, clinging to Dick and laughing loudly. Dick nearly ends up on the floor, staggering under the sudden weight. Tim doesn't care, wrapping his arms around his shoulders and legs around his stomach in a koala cling.

"Animalese," Tim wheezes around his laughs. Jason growls and lunges again, only to be twarted by Dick turning so he's between them.

"Yeah. That. Now hand the rat over so I can kill him."

"He's more of a weasel," Dick tells him.

"It literally doesn't matter."

Tim laughs again, and there's a hint of a chitter. Dick smiles fondly at the sound. There was a time there he was worried he'd never hear that particular laugh again. Fondness flickers over Jason's expression before he forces it into a scowl. Dick rolls his eyes, but he just feels warm all over.
