Making another commissions post since things have been getting worse as the month goes on. For those who are just coming across this, my name is Link and I'm a 22 y/o homeless artist. My family and I (father and younger sibling) have been in this situation for about three years now since November 2021 and I've been doing commissions to support us until something changes. We don't have anywhere to go or anyone to really turn to financially or housing wise, so we've been on our own since then. My father has managed to get his ID but with no transportation and jobs being too far out, it's made job hunting more difficult and we've yet to find anything.

This month has been one of the toughest with us owing 100$+ due to not being able to pay the daily rent. We do get extensions here but they're hard to keep up with when they double so quickly and work is becoming more hard to come by, and bumping posts on my other socials hasn't done much for us. Sadly, tonight isn't any different. We owe 190$ for tonight and for the last three days, we've been unable to get anything for it. If we can't pay tonight then we will be forced to leave, and I'm not sure what we'll do if we can't cover it.

My commissions are open for anyone interested in supporting us that way, but reblogs/shares also help us a ton since it helps spread the word to possibly get us the help we need :") I'm a fantasy oriented artist, mainly surrounding fandoms like DND, Baldurs Gate 3, Skyrim and Dragon Age, but I've done non fantasy related things as well like furries, feral creatures, comic or modern characters, I'm welcome to pretty much any fandom or request! My only donts are anything excessively violent or sexual (nonsexual nudity is okay), proship/all around that sorta content, and anything hateful (homophobia/transphobia/racism/etc.) if you have any questions about what I will do/wont do that isnt listed here, feel free to ask!

My turn around time can ranged from four weeks or shorter to a month or two given the complexity and how my situation is going at the time. I only take payments upfront with no refunds since we use the money immediately for the room or food and are unable to give proper refunds. Expression Sheet (minimum of 3 heads per sheet, 10$+ per extra head) - 45$ (10$+ if shaded)

Half body - 50$ (+10$ if shaded)

Full body - 70$ (+15$ if shaded)

Couples Commission (a commission that includes two people) - 90$ (+15$ if shaded)

Group commissions (commission that includes more than two people, price dependant on the details) - 60 base price(one character, unshaded; each extra character is +75% to the original price) (40$+ if shaded)

Snape only looked away, his shoulders hunching, his eyes soft and sad. “Hey, now,” Harry whispered in a low, rumbling voice, placing a finger under Snape’s chin, “she will come round, you’ll see. She knows the truth. Maybe she just needs a bit more time…” Harry gently raised Snape’s face, locking eyes with him, and something tugged at him when he saw Snape’s lower lip quivering. He fought the movement quickly and bit his lip, hiding the trembling. “She’s pushing me to decide and give her an answer, but I cannot... I cannot handle her gaze...” Snape’s voice broke, and the words died in his mouth. “Shh, you’re forcing your throat. Rest your voice,” Harry whispered. Harry let the salve jar gravitate towards the cupboard as he wrapped the clean bandages around Snape, being very gentle this time. His warm hand cupped Snape’s cheek as he held the head in place while the other hand wrapped the bandage around. While he did this, his thumb stroked Snape’s jawline, enjoying the whirring sound of his stubble. “Just give her time. If you are still friends, she’ll come round eventually,” Harry said as he finished wrapping the bandages. He took his wand to make the rest of the bandages disappear. But when he was about to pull back, a cold, bony hand stopped him. He looked down, Snape’s hand had grabbed his forearm, preventing him from moving. He raised his gaze, Snape was looking away, his hair covering almost his entire face. But his grip on Harry’s forearm, the slight trembling of his hand, spoke volumes. Foregoing the chair Harry sat on the mattress, facing Snape. His hand hadn’t let go of his arm, and Harry smiled as he placed his hand on top of Snape’s, and began rubbing circles on the back of his hand with his thumb. With his other hand, Harry conjured a cup of tea for him and some herbal tea for Snape. But when the teacup levitated towards Snape, a small whine escaped Snape’s lips as he gripped Harry’s forearm more strongly. Harry leaned forward so he could be at Snape’s eye level and their faces were really, really close. Snape was breathing hard, and his eyes bore into Harry’s, wide and pleading. “Shhh it’s alright. I'm here still,” Harry said, his voice rumbling. Harry said nothing else but stayed in that same position, with his eyes locked onto Snape’s. He stayed, rubbing soothing circles on the back of his hand, and gently murmuring words of encouragement.

I'm actually so convinced out of all of the Batfam Duke would fuck with the press the most. He pulls up to a gala with a diamond brooch on his tie and manipulates the light so it literally shines like a beacon and tells any reporter its his "undiscovered eldritch bling" OR fucks with the bat symbol as a way to communicate.

Dick: I'm going to the store! text me if you need anything! Duke: yeah yeah *five minutes later* Dick texting: Yknow when i said TEXT me i meant by PHONE not projecting 'ORANGE JUICE DICK' with the bat signal all over gotham.

i just think he'd be the fuckery king. He gets pissed at bruce and changes the bat signal to 'Baman sucks ASS' for like a week. no one can fix it.

Making a new post to hopefully get some work for my family and I so we have somewhere to stay for tonight, since work has been very slow lately. I'm Link, and I'm a 22-year old artist, and my family and I (me + my father and younger sibling) have been homeless since November 2021. It's a long story. TL;DR version is at the same time, while I was living with a friend and my dad + younger sibling was on the road (he drove a van at the time) he had gotten into a diabetic coma and was fired by his job. Being fired meant he or my sibling didn't exactly have a home to go back to, as our relatives on both sides refused to help. At the same time, I was going to have to find someplace else since my friends grandmother was entering the late stages of her life and they had to transfer her to the nursery, meaning there was a lot of things his family had to take care of and I couldn't be there. They allowed my father, sibling and I to stay there for two weeks to give us time to find someplace else.

While I was there, I'd been doing commissions to help their family out with food, and since it was either the streets or living under a roof; I told my friend to take us to a nearby motel since we had enough for a day, and we could figure things out from there. So since then, I've been keeping us here by doing commissions ever since. Either of us haven't been able to obtain a job yet due to how hard it is for us to get our documents to get an id (we dont have a car at the moment, and saving money for the room and food is already tough as is), but recently we think we might be able to get my father's ID so he can work, were waiting on his lung condition to recover fully and get money saved up for the documents and all that before we apply to get them. So hope isn't fully lost for us, we just need to take care of some things for a while longer until then.

Recently, things have gotten worse again. We were paying weekly thanks to the help from my followers and commissions I was getting, but when we weren't able to pay for another, we went back to paying daily again. And immediately we were set back. For the past few days, we haven't been able to pay for one let alone food. We were able to pay most of it to at least stay here, thanks to the kindness of the staff, but they called us earlier to tell us if we couldn't pay everything tonight, then we'd have to leave. We owe 120 by 11pm tonight, and I thought maybe making a new post might help us since posting on my other socials hasn't done much for us lately.

My commissions are open, and if you're interested in helping us out via a commission you can contact me through my Tumblr dms since it's the easiest way to get to me. But if you can't help financially, which I totally understand, I know the economy is tough on all of us right now, please don't feel bad or anything. First, after an aggressive war on Gaza City and its revival, we were displaced from our 3-storey house in which I and my family of 3 members live.

My father's family consists of 8 members

My grandfather, may God have mercy on him, was martyred by occupation aircraft on 12/14/2023.

The one who was martyred while he was leaving the house to check on our house next to him, which could not be reached due to a brutal enemy who does not differentiate between anyone in death, went out to check on our house, which we were not in because of my displacement to Rafah, me, my father, and our families due to the intensity of the fighting in Khan Yunis, and after that A few days ago, our store in which my father and brothers work was bombed by occupation aircraft. He was working to gather his strength from it and meet the needs of our house, which no longer exists due to the bombing. We ask you to help and contribute, even if just a little, by donating to us so that we can compensate for a little of what we lost.

Just read The Strange Case of Harley and Harleen and my god I needed a little bit of positive plurality in my life this week.

The way Pam and Harl's relationship adapts to accept the Harley/Harleen split makes my heart swell.

The way Pam sees the difference between her girlfriends.

And assures her that she accepts and loves all sides of her.

And does what she can to accommodate Harleen's memory holes.

The core relationship of this book is just so sweet and positive in accepting things as they are without judgment or pushing. Just acceptance and love.

And after finding that in our own life, I know what a powerfully positive thing it can be.

But the Harley/Harleen relationship is well handled too. There's friction and denial at the start but the two develop and trust one another by the end and Harley takes a seat as my favorite kind of character, the morally ambiguous protector.

I love the way Harley's protectiveness of Harleen is depicted and how she tries so hard to keep her from interacting with the criminal underworld of Gotham.

It's just saccharine and kind.

Highly recommend the book to anyone who just wants soft and kind plurality vibes. Heaven knows the majority of the fiction involving split personalities are flooded with angst and darkness and though this book contains a few dark plot beats like DV it never feels painful or sorrow inducing.

I'm so happy I read it.
