I wanna be a princess so bad

Like imagine going to a masquerade ball and you find yourself dancing with a random prince/princess you think you've never met before only to be announced at the end of the Ball you're going to be married off to another random just because the two kings know eachother. But you and the masked stranger have already hit it off while dancing with each other, so now you can't even see them anymore and you're getting married to someone you don't even like and/or know. So now, a couple of days later, you're meeting up with your soon to be "lover" but while you're walking home, you bump into the prince/princess from the rival kingdom to yours. They shoot a confused look to the basically stranger on your right. But instead of voicing their confusion, they just walk off. So now it is a couple of weeks later, and there's ANOTHER ball. And once again, you end up dancing with the same person. They tell you to meet with them on the balcony when the dance ends.

So when the dance ends, you go to the balcony, seeing them just leaning over the railings. And you walk up beside them, greeting them happily. But suddenly, they turn around, mask less, and you're stunned to see that it's the heir to your rival kingdom once again. But this time, they don't look confused. their stare full of love and sadness. Why sadness? You have no clue. But you slowly reach up and take your mask off. They probably already knew, though, seeing as they smiled when it was completely off, no longer covering your face. You didn't know what your eyes looked like to them, but you did know what you were feeling. A spark. Full of happiness and perhaps love? You grab their hands and open your mouth to say something,but before you can get a word out to them, you hear someone shout from below. Orders. Orders to grab your 'rival' and capture them for 'tempting the princess'. And suddenly, the look that was once full of desire is now full of shock. Quickly letting go of your hands and making a run for it. You run after them but are stopped by your fiancé. They're saying something to you, but your eyes are focused on your lost romance.

Now, it's been a couple of months. You're trying to act like you forgot all about it. But you haven't, of course. The first person you've liked in years had run away from you. So you're trying to focus on your wedding it's in a couple of hours. And at the moment, you're trying to get your hair done. The stylist, your mother, is telling how beautiful you look on this special occasion. You always had perfered your mother more. Your father was harsh, always having to tell someone off with his cold, sharp words. But your mom was kind, gentle. Always smiling, and her eyes full of beautiful life. So she quietly tells you that your hair has been finished, not even realizing that with all of your thinking, the time has flown by. Your dad is waiting by the door so he can walk you down the aisle. So, walking up to him, you hold out your arm. To which he links his into. You can hear the music playing. It's not something you are familiar with, probably requested by the other family. Halfway down the aisle, your dad bends down to your ear. And in the softest voice you've ever heard, come out of him, says the most heartbeat skipping thing. Four words and thirteen letters.

" I am proud of you ___"

The way he whispered it made it feel so much more heartfelt than he probably meant. It was the first nice thing he had said to you since you were a kid. And all of a sudden, the grief and despair you were feeling before was now filled with love and happiness. You feel tears in your eyes, and a smile creeps onto your face. And before you know it, you're already face to face with your spouse. But for some reason, you still don't feel any attachment towards them. The minister had begun his speech, but you just couldn't take your eyes off of the person in front of you. Desperately trying to find something to like about them. But you don't. Nothing. You hear the man just about ready to end his speech. But suddenly, the doors are slammed open with a loud bang. You're surprised to see who's standing in the corridor. You thought for sure they were dead. But here they were right in front of you. They were okay. They yell out that they object to the wedding and that you should marry THEM instead. So know you're put in a tough situation.

One or the other, who do you choose?

Cater would be there after tweels and ask if he could take pictures for Magigram? It would be a sweet and nice memory for sure

Dating Leona only to find out you're Malleus' twin? Well shit, does he love you enough that he can tolerate you being the Lizard's sibling? Well actually it might not be to bad you're technically royalty so it would make integrating you into the royal family a lot easier so hey, congrats you're helping create a stronger alliance between the Sunset Savanna and Briar Valley. At least Malleus gets upgraded from Lizard to Lizard-in-law.

Dating Malleus and it turns out you're Azul's sibling? You know the gears are already turning in Azul's head. Isn't he such a caring brother? He might finally get the opportunity to make a deal with a ruler. Why of course he wouldn't try to scam his future brother-in-law. Please smack him with a tentacle or two if he tries anything funny.

Dating Sebek and you're actually Malleus' twin. Oh God Sebek is going to fluctuate between feeling like he's not worthy to be the s/o of his waka-sama's twin too, of course he has excellent tastes in a partner he just knew you were truly special before anybody else! Junoace au type of day!! The thoughts have been haunting me since last night.... Juno is a fairy that fell in love with a kitchen boy, so he wants to help him get to the ball!! For Ace he works at monstro lounge(being actual restaurant in this au) as a kitchen boy because I think for this circumstance it works better than mean parent and siblings hjgdjk (Bro has to work so he miss out son all the fun)

Im still thinking about Aces ball design but for now I do have Junos design in hand

And the themes of isolation, loneliness and the search for connection. And cool mechas. :) There was many iconic screenshots I would have wanted to draw too but I really want to get this out and move on with my hyperfixations. Hopefully : D
