K-Pop Demon Hunters Headcanons Part 2
Part 1 found here
- Bobby fields the girls from a LOT. The man has someone on staff for everyTHING and there are multiple people on hand ready to protect Huntr/x from anything, whether it be from the press, fans, haters online, or pushy industry reps who won’t take no for an answer. The girls may fight demons on the down low but NO ONE knows how hard Bobby will fight for his girls
- Zoey tries to explain to the other girls what the FitnessGram pacer test is once and they decide to try it in training once. Only once. They never speak of it again, and Mira has that audio blocked online out of a traumatic response
- The first brand collab Huntr/x ever did was for a shampoo and hair care line. Between Mira and Rumi with such long hair, they leapt at the chance to work with brands they themselves have used and it was in their contract rider to have bottles shipped to the hotels they stayed in to use on tour
- Before they went on tour, Rumi had never left the country. Celine had never taken her when she went on the road out of fear of discovery, so she had a whole bucket list of things to see when they left. She took so many cheesy tourist photos but it was totally worth it
- Before joining Huntr/x, Zoey had planned to study marine veterinary science at college in the US. She applied and toured her top schools, and even got into a few of them, but ultimately never committed. Her top choice still offered her an honorary degree after their first album hit the charts worldwide
- Mira is a very superstitious person by nature, and does little rituals before every show, whether it’s a little step pattern she taps out offstage or touching a piece of jewelry she never takes off
- Sussie loves Bobby’s clothing. The man doesn’t make a habit of leaving his things around, but he makes the mistake of leaving a cardigan in the girls’ flat one time, and Sussie makes it a nest. The girls have to gaslight Bobby into thinking he lost it because Sussie will NOT give it back
- Mira’s dad worked with the Sunlight Sisters back in the day, on the financial or legal side of things. He never cared much for their music but asked Celine one time about dance studio recommendations for Mira. He’d regret that decision later, but it he’d never asked, Celine mightn’t’ve considered Mira for the band
- Celine was the dancer of the Sunlight Sisters. Rumi’s mom had the better voice, but Celine’s moves were what put the Sisters on the map, which usually put her front and center up on stage
- Each of the girls has kept a lot of the things the fans have given them over the years, which have been tastefully memorialized; Rumi commissioned a special rack just to store all of the bracelets she’s been given, Mira has a photo album full of drawings and various printed items that she still adds to, and Zoey has a rock collection on a trinket shelf after one fan gifted her a painted rock that looked like a turtle and the moment went viral
- Zoey always has a rock on hand now, which she keeps in a pouch or pocket as good luck, and she gives it to the others when she thinks they might need it, during anxiety or panic attacks. Rocks are actually a strangely effective comfort item, who knew?
- Rumi has sensory issues when she gets overstimulated, and only wears clothing that is easy to take off after one memorable moment where she couldn’t get out of a top fast and ripped it off instead. Everything she wears now has zippers and simple closures or she won’t touch it
- Mira has the biggest sweet tooth of them all, which is a secret she guards closely, and regularly keeps a stash of sweets in her room. She doesn’t think the others would judge her for it, but she also refuses to share them and would protect those sweets to the death

Based on your Headcanon of KPop Demon Hunters, what could Mira and Zoey could react or feel when they finally meet Derpy and Sussie for the first time after Rumi adopted them after Jinu died?
I think they’d both love Derpy and Sussie.
I feel like Zoey’s a huge animal lover and would be obsessed with Derpy, putting sketches of him in all of her notebooks. She also makes Sussie the most hats, even a tiny crown out of her old jewelry, and Sussie loves the attention.
Mira’s not such a huge fan of animals, but still enjoys interacting with them, especially Sussie. They’re both really low-key and chill, so Sussie frequently enjoys being near her. Mira also sheds a lot of hair, despite taking good care of it, and at some point, Sussie builds a nest that comes out pink because of all the hair Mira leaves around that Sussie uses to make it.
Also both of them love riding Derpy when he flies, but they have to take turns because Derpy can’t carry all three girls at once, and Derpy never goes anywhere without Rumi.

K-Pop Demon Hunters Headcanons
- Rumi and Mira were both privately educated; Rumi because of Celine’s fear about Rumi’s patterns being discovered, and Mira because her family is uber wealthy
- Mira and Rumi didn’t get along together when the band was first put together, because of this. Mira had a deep-seated distrust of anyone who she considered to be like her parents, and Rumi’s reputation as music royalty and her isolating tendencies were red flags in that respect
- The two had many creative differences, and frequently fought, but the only thing they could agree on was that they both were insanely protective of Zoey
- Zoey doesn’t need protection, she can handle herself just fine, but she grew up an only child, and both Rumi and Mira are the closest thing she can imagine to sisters so she doesn’t mind
- Zoey isn’t just torn between her culture and her upbringing, she’s torn between her parents too. A child of divorce, her mom lived in South Korea and her dad in California, and their custody agreement was split, so Zoey went to school in the US while with her dad and spent the summers with her mom. This means she didn’t get to hang out with people a whole lot in either country, and while people thought she was interesting, they didn’t share her interests, so she was pretty isolated
- Zoey is a big Sunlight Sisters fan because it was something she could bond with her mom over, so meeting Rumi and Celine for the first time was an experience.
- Mira has an older brother that she doesn’t speak to anymore. She was cut off from her parents after they refused to accept her for who she is, and he picked their side. Mira pretends it doesn’t bother her, but will admit she’s closer to her friends than she ever was with him. He on the other hand has a daughter that LOVES Huntrix and doesn’t know Mira’s her aunt, so she punishes him every day by listening to Mira’s music
- Mira outright rejects luxury items. Her parents’ wealth bothered her growing up, so she frequently uses her fame and money to support small businesses and charities, and would happily wear cheap clothes over designer, and even a sleeping bag over a bespoke gown. The most expensive things she voluntarily wears are the concert costumes, but they’re okay because even those are “luxuries” her parents would never approve of
- Rumi bought them all loungewear, including the fun patterned pajama sets, which all the girls frequently wore on their downtime. The other girls originally thought it was a quirk, not realizing Rumi used it as a way to keep herself covered even in private.
- Bobby was planning to leave the music industry after being a manager for so many bands that tore apart, but Celine brought him in to keep the girls together. He’s terrified of what failure will mean for them, not because of the demon stuff (which he doesn’t know about) but because he cannot take seeing another group of people he cares about become nameless strangers to each other and their fans
- Huntrix accidentally started a wave of self-defense classes becoming popular amongst their fans after letting slip in an interview that they use martial arts and fight training to stay in shape. It was covered up with the brand of being hunters, but honestly, all of them kinda dig that their fans could defend themselves if need be
- Mira was the first one of them to get recognized in public after the band got popular, because of her iconic hair. The interaction was super sweet, but all three started covering up when going out in public after that in case they got caught fighting
- Zoey is probably the most active on social media out of all of them, which she uses as a way to decompress, and has multiple fake accounts so that she can interact with content online without being swarmed by fans
- Rumi loves plants, but isn’t good at keeping them on the best watering schedule, so Zoey found an app where she can track the plants and set reminders for herself to care for them
- Mira and Zoey have a lot of inside jokes with each other as Rumi hangs out with them less and less during their downtime before her patterns are revealed. Rumi treasures the first inside joke all three make with each other after that because it truly is a sign she doesn’t have to keep walls between the three of them anymore
- The fans notice a significant change in Rumi’s style after the events of Namsan Tower, as it becomes less modest and practical. Some like it, some don’t, but all of them appreciate how much more comfortable she looks on stage afterwards and they love that for her
- Sussie (the magpie) and Derpy (the tiger) come to live with the girls after the final showdown with Gwi-Ma. Sussie loves Mira, who happily lets the magpie hoard things in her room, and Derpy can frequently be found napping with Zoey. On one occasion, it became a group nap with all three girls leaning on Derpy and the tiger was in heaven
- Derpy’s OCD does lead to some funny moments though. He recognizes that the girls’ shoes need to be neat, and he lines them up, but doesn’t realize they should be paired together. After multiple instances where the girls each sport mismatched shoes outside, they now have to check every time that the shoes match when lined up
- Sussie’s hat collection grows as each of the girls continue to make him different ones for different events, even making him something to match their stage costumes, but his favorite hat remains the one Jinu made. Rumi pets him knowingly every single time she catches him wearing it, because they both miss him
- The girls very nearly refuse to record a studio version of “Takedown”, because of everything that was happening at the time of writing it, but eventually agree to do an EP with it and “What It Sounds Like” at the request of the fans. It is a win when between the two songs, the fans massively prefer the latter
- To recover from the game show slide snafu, they return to do the Spicy Challenge. Out of the three, Rumi has the best spice tolerance, and blows Baby Saja’s performance out of the water with the host crawling off the stage in tears begging for help. The spice company sponsors a show after that and Rumi has a lifetime supply of hot sauce that they keep in the penthouse. The show is aired, and Rumi becomes a meme, which makes Bobby so proud
- For a long while after Namsan Tower, the girls are frequently asked about the Saja Boys and their abrupt disappearance, especially Rumi, who is often implicated to have had a relationship with Jinu. She denies it every time, but her eyes always get so sad so no one believes her and the reporters learn to stop asking
- On the world tour they did before the events of the movie, the girls did a show in Los Angeles and Zoey got to show her friends all of her favorite places growing up. They even drove past her old high school, and were very surprised to see a message on the school sign commemorating the concert, for no other reason than because the school is proud of their alumni
- Also while in LA, Zoey goes on a rap battle tv show and goes absolute ham on her opponent, which is where the image of her “rapping scarily” comes from. She gets invited to collab with a bunch of rappers after that and is even offered an opportunity to do her own solo album, but she turns that down because she loves singing with Rumi and Mira
- The girls get offered the chance to return to the MET Gala, and Rumi blows everyone out of the water by actually tracing her patterns on with body paint, and wearing one yellow contact lens to really show off her “inner demon”. She makes the top of the best dressed list and it becomes a makeup trend on social media
I’d love to hear what other headcanons y’all have!

Just to follow up on this, because I don’t think we talk enough about it.
Doing major athletic feats at a young age repetitively can lead to some incredible results for any one person’s condition, but it’s also going to cause major consequences if you’re not careful.
Forget any injuries incurred on patrol, like gunshot wounds, stab wounds, toxin exposure, etc…sometimes you get injured just doing sports right. Sprains and strains happen a lot, especially when you put your body through the same conditions over and over, and RSI is a fucking bitch. Muscle pain, numbness, swelling are just initial symptoms, but long term? We’re talking permanent nerve damage, permanent muscle damage, arthritis, and chronic pain.
And of all things, the weather can impact this. Gotham is supposedly a miserable, cold, and moist place, which is like an oven for injury exacerbation. Between the rain, the New England winters, and the fog, post-injury flare ups must be incredibly common.
And then there’s nutrition. I’m a big supporter in Dick having a very balanced nutritional diet as a child, especially around Alfred, but once he leaves the manor, I don’t think he considers it all that much. Going from having a good diet to a bad one, especially as a young adult has consequences (something I learned firsthand in college), and it’s an even bigger deal if you live a lifestyle where you burn through nutrients rapidly.
Like we joke about the cereal, but aside from the added sugar, it’s got iron, fiber, carbs, and a ton of other micronutrients that are EXTREMELY good for athletes, and since Dick is going to be burning the calories anyways, even the added sugar is probably not that bad.
Now add on the injuries Dick HAS incurred via vigilantism. Multiple gunshot wounds and stab wounds (aka severe dermal, muscle, nerve and skeletal damage), concussions, radiation exposure, toxin exposure, broken bones, blood loss…
The human body can only put up with so much, and the consequences will be incredibly devastating. The bats must be chomping down low grade painkillers and anti-inflammatories on a regular basis, and Dick especially has to deal with that because he wears so much less body armor compared to the rest of them.
I understand people who like to think that Dick, approaching 30, starts to have joint pain and therefore can no longer do many things...
But ever since I read a one-shot where Dick, who has been in pain since he was practically 13, just learned to deal with it, I can't stop thinking that way.
Especially due to hypermobility, which can cause pain from everyday things, even things like sitting upright.
It's like... He doesn't have chronic pain, it's not every day... But it happens, and even though sometimes he can rest... There are days where he has to go anyway.

Do you ever think Dick feels guilty?
Like when he looks at that younger generation of heroes, the Titans, Young Justice, and all the sidekicks out there, the ones who started out young and lived and breathed vigilantism in the same way he did?
Because he made that possible. Dick Grayson was the proof of concept, the first sidekick, the first child hero. Everyone who came after him was allowed to remain BECAUSE of him.
Everyone who died doing what Dick has been doing his whole life has got to be a weight on him that he can’t fully forgive himself for. Jason, Donna, Wally…the list goes on.
How many kids do you think Dick has talked out of being heroes because he knows the cost of it all too well?
How hard does he train the ones who do put on the mask, not only because he feels responsible for them, but because he’s still dealing with the guilt over those he couldn’t save?
How many of those kids look up to him, being grateful and thinking that he made this path possible, and he has to look down in horror because he never meant for this to happen.
And as for Robin, do you think sometimes he would wish to just rip that mantle away, not because they don’t deserve it, but because that legacy is tainted with too much blood now because three of his brothers died wearing that mask and he will NOT see another go out in those colors.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Catherine Todd.
While there is little we know about Catherine, what we do know is that she died impoverished, with only her son to care for her.
It is never mentioned if Catherine had any family, beyond her husband, who is either in prison or dead by that point, so, with no living adult family…who handled her remains?
In all likelihood, her remains were probably handled by the city. Eventually someone would get around to reporting a dead body, whether Jason did or their landlord, or a neighbor complaining about the smell. With no next of kin, who identified her? Who made her funeral arrangements? What care was her death afforded?
The answer to those questions is probably heartbreaking. Something that is becoming more and more common in the United States especially, is that unclaimed human remains, with no financial status, are buried/disposed of by city municipal services anonymously in vaguely marked locations.
Do you think Jason even knew where his mom ended up?
Do you think Bruce tried to find her, only to get stonewalled not by a lack of cooperation, but a lack of documentation from whatever underpaid city employee handling the case had?
Do you think Bruce made a grave for Catherine, just to give her son a place to mourn, only for her grave to be as empty as Jason’s own in coming years?

I know we as a fandom don’t talk enough about the Batkids acknowledging how old Bruce is getting, but something I think we talk about EVEN LESS is the Batkids acknowledging Dick getting older.
Like Dick is pushing 30 in canon at this point, and realistically cannot do the same things he was doing as a kid. There is a reason a lot of athletes retire young, and Dick’s life has been brutal on his body, so eventually it’ll catch up with him.
Imagine if you will some random new JL/Titans recruit meeting Nightwing and asking “Is it true you can do a quadruple somersault?”
And Dick has to wince and say “I used to, but not anymore.”
Imagine the Batkids hearing that? Imagine everyone who saw him grow up hearing Dick acknowledge he is getting older and can’t do the same things he did in his youth. Imagine how they feel about their own age. Imagine the grief Dick must feel at knowing he’s losing the gifts his parents bestowed upon him, and the fact he’s out-aged them both.
Imagine Bruce painfully acknowledge (in his head because it’s illegal for him to emote aloud) that not only is he getting older, but his first child, his SON, is now the same age he was when Bruce took Dick in.
Imagine Dick picking the smaller option out on ice cream trips because his body can’t handle sugar the way it used to, or eating less in general because his metabolism has slowed down.
Imagine the Batkids sparring and Dick has to tap out because he can’t keep up with them all for as long anymore. Like he can’t keep still do a lot, and handle himself in a fight, but he is not showing off with flips the same way he used to.
Imagine the day one of the Batkids spots gray hair on Dick’s head, or realize that the lines on his face are just a little deeper than they used to be?
Babs keeps calling him the Boy Wonder as a private joke, but the boyish charm that Dick once had has since faded. He’s a grown man, and while at heart he still is the kid that brought light back to Gotham, his outside reflects the life they’ve lived and shared together, which didn’t just pass by in the blink of an eye.
And Jason pretends he doesn’t care, but realizes that Dick isn’t the same 16-year old kid that Bruce put on a pedestal. That he, out of all their siblings, saw Dick the most when he was in his prime, and that his older brother is just a little more fragile than he used to be.
And Tim thinks back to the days of him stalking Batman and Robin before, pulling out those old photos and realizing just how much Dick has aged. When did that happen, he wonders, and how much more will Dick change as he gets older?
Cass, Steph, and Duke acknowledge that Dick Grayson grew up, and left behind a legacy for them to fill, but they’ll always wonder what he was like when he was younger, and wonder how much longer he’ll be around. Bruce has been doing this vigilante schtick for 20+ years, but will Dick still be doing this when he’s Bruce’s age?
Damian takes it the hardest. He can’t look at Dick without thinking of him as the same Grayson who was his Batman, but the truth is, he’s not the same. His old portraits of Dick bear witness to that, with each one just a little different because time is not frozen to Dick the way it is with Ra’s and Talia. Damian privately grieves everyone he comes to care about in advance because death has surrounded him his whole life and eventually despite Dick’s promises that he’ll always be there for Damian, a day is coming when that promise will be broken.
But yeah. Older Dick Grayson. I have thoughts on this.
(Anyways don’t mind me. Just coming to terms with being the same age canonically as my childhood hero.)

Counterpoint:
Arabic cursing is some of the most profound and poetic degradation to exist (exhibit A, cw: explicit language) and Damian grew up with those insults being flung around like it was no big deal.
The moment he understands what patrol trash talk is, he gets it entirely, so at the first opportunity, he debuts this on patrol and Bruce stops short.
Even Jason, Tim, and Dick just freeze, and all of a sudden the villain or goon they’re up against is all of a sudden just like??? Wtf did he say?! Batman’s not moving?!
And Damian isn’t paying them any attention, and just goes OFF!
And no one knows what to do about this tiny child dressed as a traffic light merging generational curses into yo mama jokes, and the only small mercy is that Arabic is not a popular language spoken in Gotham.
Bruce begs him not to do it again (he will anyways).
Steph (once it is explained to her what Damian said) is so so proud.
Jason gives the kid a sword and bribes him to say that to Joker next time they go up against him (bc I hc Joker speaks Arabic as a former ambassador to Iran), just to see what the clown does.
Bruce, adopting Dick: Aw-w, what a sweet little kid! Surely, he is so polite, and—
Dick, the instance he gets in the battle: You fucking disappointment of a person, and (string of curses on his mother language)
Bruce: Oh. Okay.
Bruce, adopting Jason: Well, Jason was well-mannered and soft-spoken so far, so, maybe—
Jason to the random goon: You motherfucking asshole, I am going to shove this boa to your—
Bruce: Right. Okay.
Bruce, making Stephanie his Robin: Maybe...
Stephanie, using the same street language Jason did, if not worse: I FUCKED YOUR MOM, YOU SON OF A—
Bruce: Whatever.
Bruce, eying suspiciously quiet Tim, who came to interrogate the goon for the first time as a Robin: ?
Tim, the minute door closed behind him: Listen to me, you pathetic excuse of a man, I am going to fuck you up, in an—
Bruce, sighing: Yeah. Honestly. Whatever.
Bruce, staring at angry Damian, who looks like he is about to explode, but keeps up as much as he can: Go on, chump. Say what you want.
Damian, staring at the floor with the deadliest stare ever: Not to sound unbecoming, but... Loser. -_-
Bruce, flabbergasted: ...Okay.

Idk why but with that last bit, I just have visions of all the batkids imitating the seagulls from Finding Nemo JUST to annoy Bruce and now I gotta draw it lol
Hi, I'm both curious and interested in starting a fight among the Batman fandom
There's an old joke where the Batmobile is failing to start. Batman says:
"Robin, can you check the battery?"
To which Robin says:
"What's a tery?"
I was just curious which Robin this would have been. Funniest and most likely answer are both acceptable
Here's my answers: All of them made this exact joke. Dick came by it honestly, that's his sense of humor, especially because he likes needling Bruce for a reaction, he is never as proud of himself as when he can get Batman to laugh and dumb jokes are his FAVORITE way of getting a rise out of the man. Jason would make the joke, because he was trying to live up to Dick Grayson's legacy and mold himself in the same image, so he made jokes that weren't really his style sometimes and it was really cute, because Bruce would smile, but the times he would get a real laugh out of Bruce were when he made his own style of jokes. Tim would do it because he was beating Nightwing to the punch on a joke, because Tim Drake may be a Dick Grayson stan first and a human being second, but that often came out in the form of, "I must steal my favorite human being's joke So He Will Approve Of Me." This 100% works, Dick acts offended that his line was stepped on, but he laughs and noogies Tim's head because that's now his baby brother. Steph would do it because she's trying to fit in at the time, trying to live up to the mantle of Robin, because she's seen Tim step on people's jokes and how it's a good ice-breaker and she's really working hard at this. Damian would do it because Damian is The Funniest Child Alive Actually and will whip out a joke when you least expect it, but also because that child's foundation as a superhero was 100% Dick Grayson and sometimes he misses Dick so he makes Dick's stupid joke for him. Ultra Hot Take: Sometimes all five of them try for it at once and NOBODY is happy at the ensuing chaos, because someone has to Win at the joke, because if you're all reaching for it, nobody is annoyed. EXCEPT when Bruce makes an annoyed little "Hn." noise and then they all swivel their heads towards him at the exact same speed and light up with unholy glee and start chirping it on repeat. "What's a tery?" "What's a tery?" "What's a tery?" "What's a tery?" "What's a tery?" on repeat for a solid 30 seconds like a group of parrots in an echo chamber. It's uncanny and Bruce hates it, but, hey, it's teamwork and he wanted them to work together better, don't punish the behavior you want to see, Bruce.

I’m about to make a controversial statement.
*deep breath*
…
…
Flynn Rider and Jason Todd are the same person.
Think about it!
1. They both died! This is the main factor.
2. They’re both bookworms
3. They both turned to a life of crime and stole from their future wealthy benefactor
4. They both styled themselves after their childhood hero
5. They both know a talented fighter named Cassandra
6. Daddy issues. Clearly.
7. Great hair.
…this post is brought to you by my weekend-long binge play of Dreamlight Valley.
