Danny and Dan are going on a shopping spree with Vlad's credit card in Gotham, because they want to spend as much money as possible and Vlad is terrified of the city.

This means they have as much time as Dani can buy them by preventing Vlad from calling the bank.

As they're shopping in only the ritziest district, they get stopped by a reporter.

"Mr. Drake-Wayne, Mr. Timothy Drake-Wayne, are you a twin?"

Dan and Danny look at each other.

Look back at the reporter.

"Actually, we're triplets. We keep the ugly one at home." Dan says, completely deadpan.

"O...oh. So which one of you is Mr. Timothy? You all look identical!" The Reporter gushes, flustered at getting the first scoop on the story.

"He's at home," Danny says, a shit eating grin that's a perfect match to Dan's stretching across his face.

Danny and Dan aren't related to this Tim guy at all, but they're still gonna fuck with him.

Nameless Danny au: The twin

Concept:

Danny phantom being damians twin and ghost king au.

It had been years since Damian walked the cold halls of the league. In that time threw acceptence from Dick he learned that no, his twin was not a waist of life. That he and his twin had been pitted against each other. That the hatred Damian had held for his twin wasn't healthy and neither was relishing in his death.

Bruce tried not to think about it, about a boy around damians build lying limp on the floor. Nothing made him feel better when he thought about it, so he pushed it to the back of his mind. But his mind was a steal trap, one that baby that was never even named could never escape from.

Talia was the one who threw soon to be danny in the pit. Not out of love (at least that's what she tried to tell herself) but to be rid of him. She thought of it a final chance. A final mission. If her son could find a family that would raise him, after being abandoned in the middle of a random city, then she would permit him to live.

Ras was glad to be rid of the other twin. Why waist resources on such a weak child. Honestly he knew what Talia had done and simply didn't care to correct her. The child was gone and he didn't have to worry about someone bringing him back out of spite. After all his daughter already did that.

And as years passed, and the dust settled the nameless boy seemed to slip threw the cracks into the world of memories.

That is until years later when the envelopes appeared.

An rsvp letter to a coronation. The ghost kings coronation. All in silver and gunmetal and ectoplasm green. But no reason to why the letter had been sent to it's recipients

Damian held it limply in his hands and for a brief moment it felt like home. He couldn't explain it, didn't understand it. In the end he assumed it was the pit stirring inside him calling him to this so called ghost king. He took the letter to his father.

Bruce, also having received a letter was running tests and doing the work to find out what exactly could protect him (and by proxy the world) from ghosts. Having talked to colleagues (who were both thrilled and nervous to hear that there was a new ghost king) he settled on blood blooms. So he and his son readied themselves for a fight may there need to be one. They checked the box and green surrounded them.

Talia didn't know what to think. Ras wanted her to check the box already, but she felt it could be a trap. Yet there was a part of her. A quiet voice inside telling her to do it. Check the box, sign the letter. In the end she gave in. The light surrounded her, a green brighter then the pit ever was.

Ras waited for Talia to check the box first. He wanted to know what would happen. If she would die. After all he could always throw her in the pit. When she didn't die but disappeared he decided, yes he would go to this...coronation. It would be a good time to make an ally after all. The light absorbed him and he disappeared.

Bruce, Damian, Talia and Ras stood in front of what had to be the ghost castle, decorated with garlands and other displays.

When the four made eye contact is when Bruce put two and two together. Whatever this was it had to do with either Damian or...

He didn't get to finish his thought. A girl rushed out of the castle doors holding the finger of a massive knight and pulling him along. The child looked remarkably like him and he wondered if this was the new ghost king.

She curtsied and began to speak until she got a closer look at those before her.

She paled and whispered

"Oh...Oh no. You're not supposed to be here."

But it was too late. The procession had begun and they were pushed in with the crowd.

The boy. He really was a boy and not some big frightening being stood at the throne.

Damian gasped.

Talia froze.

Bruce's eyes narrowed.

Ras backed away a bit.

They had all done their research on how powerful a ghost king was... and there was a boy exactly Damians age. Eyes a little greener, white hair, and barely paler in a dead way.

Each of them knew at once.

Danny look into the crowd. He recognized almost all of them. He had studied well for this after all. Cause even if he didn't exactly want to be king, a king was needed to keep the infinite relms in check.

It was Jazz standing beside him who pointed them out. The four people he didn't want there more then anything.

He had forgotten about them for a time, until the lab accident brang it all back. His bio family.

He knew it must have been a mistake.

He had told Jazz about them after some time. Sobbing in the middle of the night. Asking why neither set of parents loved him.

Jazz squeezed his hand. They'd get threw this.

Headcanon: his clothes need to be Button when he's having a panic attack. His hands shake and he desperately tries to Button up or Zip up his shirt. It often happens in his apartment. He calls a sibling and they squish or release the spider. No one quite understands why.

Tim drake (dc )

Reason: if one bat kid has it they all do

Headcanon: has never seen a good coping mechanism in his life. Frequently breaks down and puts himself back together. Calls himself "the architect of his own mind". Is trying to do better but doesn't think he's bad enough to qualify as ptsd

Reason: a violent upbringing and loss of a loved one depending on continuity

Headcanon: his response is a toss up between. Freeze and fight. But both have been weaponized and manipulated by his grandfather. He either goes deathly still to assess the situation, or leaps in as fast as possible. Say what you want but he deserved to be allowed to be a child

Duke Thomas (dc, implied)

Reason: it's implied

Headcanon: still addresses his parents sometimes. Once accidentally called Bruce his dad's name. Part of him wishes he'd stop but part of him is afraid to let them go. On the bright side (opposite of Tim) he is amazing at coping mechanisms. It'll probably gets worse as time goes on but for now he's surviving.

Barbara Gordon (dc, canon)

Reason: it's canon

Headcanon: she is clawing her way forward. She wants recovery like a bear wants free of a trap. She yearns for the day she will be better officially. She knows it won't happen but she still yearns for better days.

Reason: girls got the child abuse, giving her child away for their own good combo

Headcanon: she knows it's for the best but sometimes when it's really quiet and she's alone with her thoughts she worries, thoughts running through her mind of what could happen to her child without her protection. Owns the mom guilt. She whispers over and over, it's for the best.

Reason: she was a weapon first, a daughter second and a child never.

Headcanon: Cassandra doesn't cook. Something about the kitchen knives, sharp yet domestic puts a pit in her stomach. She wonders half idly half disgusted, about herself where the girl stops and the weapon begins. Is her new found kindness and domesticity a lie. Even when Alfred is out Cass doesn't cook and mercifully no one asks her too.

Headcanon: will never get therapy. Has thought about making an ai to be a therapist for exactly two seconds. Thought better of it. Knows exactly how bad it is but doesn't fix it cause it keeps him sharp.

Alfred pennyworth (dc, not canon):

Reason: the man was in the army and lost his good friend and raised the orphan that came out of the scenario

Headcanon: he is an enabler to Bruce's actions and he knows it. He wanted, above all else to shelter the young orphan from the path he walks. From panic attacks and sleeplessness and the thousand yard stare, And he failed. How else could he do anything else but enable after that.

Steve Roger's (marvel, canon)

Reason: it's canon

Headcanon: he makes acquaintance with one of the restaurantours that Tony likes, in order to use their walk in freezer. Everytime he goes in he starts hyperventilating but he won't stop. He wants to be over this. Refuses to feel sorry for himself. He could have been extremely brain damaged or dead. He feels he needs to be grateful.

Bucky Barnes (marvel, canon)

Headcanon: this man spirals constantly but he's like, productive about it. Half his mind might be screaming and the other half is doing a crossword, cutting coupons, or memorizing a recipe. He has a plan to push the screaming out by slowly focusing more and more on his daily tasks. Steve isnt sure it'll work but neither of them know much about healthy coping methods. Their trying to work things out

Tony stark (marvel, canon)

Headcanon: he goes to therapy. He's a atheist but he kneels at the alter of self help books and worksheets that are obviously too dumbed down for him. He desperately clings to deep breathing like a lifeling. The man journals, something a younger him would of laughed at. Of course he burns them afterword with damp lashes and dry cheeks. The problem stems from overuse. Like everything else that has ever made him better he over does it all.

Natasha romanoff (marvel, canon)

Headcanon: she is beyond the horizon of panic attacks. Beyond the hyperventilating and stress responses. She wants to fear, to be fallible, to show weakness. She wants it as much as she is capable of wanting literally anything for herself. She wants deep in the part of herself that can still manage to be selfish to feel human, just a little.

Bruce Banner (marvel, cannon)

Reason:it's canon

Headcanon: everytime he comes to it's the same. His mind is racing or there's blood on his hands or both. He doesn't remember more often then not, it's mercy he thinks. He isn't sure he deserves that mercy though. Scratching that, some days he is sure he doesn't deserve it. It doesn't matter if hulk was kind or cruel. He feels he is a reflection of his father's worst parts.

Hawkeye (marvel, canon)

Reason: it's canon

Headcanon: despite being weaker or maybe because he is weaker then the others, he blames himself. Every cut, every bruise, Every wound, every death, is his fault in his mind. He's talked to his therapist extensively, and some days the burden is lighter and for just a few hours he can breathe easy. His wife doesn't know how deep it lies, hopefully she and the kids will never know. He can't fail anyone else.

Thor (marvel,canon)

Reason: its canon

Headcanon: he thought he would never understand the others and at times he was insensitive, and that eats away at him. The. He started to lose his loved ones, then his planet, and then his self worth. All he has left is his teammates, his friends. Friends he was insensitive too. Them and a planet he failed via Thanos.

Danny Fenton (Danny phantom, bestowed by fandom)

Reason: three reasons, I believe he has it too, even if I didn't I'm not fighting his Fandom, and it likely pisses of butch hartman.

Headcanon: this man would be a absolute disaster if not for jazz, personly I like the idea she pivoted career paths for him. Depending on what you decide is canon (the canon is the fandoms now hartman) he has been terribly wounded by enemies, semi friends, and his parents. He has been broken and battered, but he will not break. He will not bend, he won't become Dan.

The powerpuff girls (the powerpuff girls, implied)

Reason: those girls have been through absolute hell together. Villains have invaded their town and their school and their home. No where was safe. They've also dealt with the actual In universe devil.

Headcanon: as they grow up they become more and more co dependent. As adults they rarely talk to anyone outside themselves.They understand that they are outsiders as much as they are protectors and even their creator doesn't completely understand them. Combine that with the trauma of fighting every other day sense preschool and by the time they are 25 each of them are broken in a heartbreaking, intertwined way.

Zuko (atla, isn't exactly confirmed but we all know)

Reason: his entire upbringing

Headcanon: he knows he needs to trust the avatar, he needs to trust the process, but he can't help but feel he is preparing this boy for mutilation or death, is he really better then his father if he hands such a young boy over to his doom. But no, he needs to trust the process

Katara (atla, I believe the writers said it's canon but I could be wrong)

Reason: this poor girl is living through the survivors guilt she carries and the misogyny of many around her. And she is still mocked for it.

Headcanon: her trauma comes of as an obsession. It's always there, gnawing at her and it never leaves her alone, of course she can't shut up about it. Imagine becoming a healer years after your mother's murder. Imagine the hatred anyone in the thick of mourning would have for themselves... she imagines late at night what would have happened if she had been a little more talented a little younger. For a brief moment she allows herself to be soft enough to daydream, daydreams many have deamed girly and immature. her brother snores from where he lay and she turns her body away from it all.

Coraline Jones (coraline, not canon)

Reason: the other mothers manipulation, the guilt of both her parents kidnapping and her love for the facade the beldam put up.

Headcanon: she refuses to be prey ever again. So she studies, with the cats help, the supernatural. He brings her old tombs and older daggers and by the time she's supposed to head to college she is ready to slip away into the night. She is already stained by the other mother, shaped by whispers of what the other world was, why not take down as many monsters as possible.

Finn the human/mertins (adventure time, implied)

Reason: 3/4s of the show tbh

Headcanon: Finn the winner always loses when it means his own happiness. He can win all day for anyone else, but when he is on his own or working in self interest, he feels he always loses. He loses in dating to his own stupidity, he loses his bio dad mere minutes after meeting him, hell he loses his own arm.

So slowly ever so slowly he stops. He is a champion who serves others. There's no room for selfishness or mistakes

Loid forger (spy x family, canon)

Reason:it's canon

Headcanon: he can't drink straight from the tap. It's the one thing he can't physically manage. He swears he can taste the contaminated water of his youth. A deep part of him analyzing every aspect of every drop waiting to taste gunpowder or worse. So he uses waterbottles and kettles and filters and it works for him right until he's out with Anya and she says she's thirsty and prances to an old fountain and for a minute something in him breaks. Forcing himself to fish in his pocket he calls out to her, telling her to get a soda from the vending instead.

Yor forger (spyxfamily, canon?)

Reason: became an orphan and a murder in like a few months.

Headcanon: youth is an odd thing to yor forger, her parents died so young and In a way she did too. The girl who held her younger brothers newborn body died that first mission. Sometimes she imagines her own tiny body six foot under. Someone so young and innocent and she didn't even get a proper funeral, instead she crawled through the husk of her own form into the briar, like a wicked cocoon

Anya forger (spyxfamily, implied)

Reason: science related trauma

Headcanon: the scientists always lied to her. Her new parents lie to her, the final straw though was when she thought back, as she did every other month and her memories weren't as crisp as she remembered. What use to keep her sane during her time in expiramentation was now starting to fade away. Slowly she started to doubt herself, what if she wasn't an orphan but was born to the lab. Is she still a person if they built her piece by peice. A new darker thought crept in. Is she still a person with what she knows was done to her.

N (pokemon, not canon)

Reason: neglect and witnessing abuse

Headcanon: one can only hear of or witness so much abuse, see so much blood and wounds before it starts effecting one's self. Years later what he had witnessed still haunts his nightmares. Pleading eyes and bruised bodies haunt his dreams asking how he could manage to sleep with what was being done to them. It only gets worse after his father's betrayal.

Phoenix Wright (ace attorney, decided firmly by fandom)

Reason: most people close to him have tried to harm, maim, or kill him.

Headcanon: the red of one of his partners sleeves fluttered ever so faintly in the room phoenix sat. He was next to a box fan miles despised, doodling on his paperwork. He look up to glance outside when he noticed it. the door being open was normal, while miles' silk shirt hanging of it was not ("it was just too hot, you didn't think about it" he would later say more to himself then to his partner) and something about the way it moved caught between the fans in the living room and kitchen made it look like it was floating, almost like perfect silky red hair. And for a second he felt worse then when he and miles got food poisoning in their second official date. He froze and didn't even notice the tears until they were dripping on his hands. Miles stayed over that night.

Miles Edgeworth (ace attorney, too many signs to be false):

Reason: thought he comited patricide in a elevator. Would likely rather through himself down a up escalator then ever try that again

Headcanon: the whole planning period of "choosing death" he was at odds with himself. He felt horribly guilty for feeling free when Manfred goes to prison. He wondered if he and his old mentor were of the same cloth. He was angry, like a wild animal, restless like a rabid dog. His profession gnawing at him. He loved and hated and admired and feared the courts. This feeling came to a boil quickly and he feared it would boil over and drown him alive. In the end he removed himself. He had no choice.

Reason:she always has a parasol and seems to have some built up frustration. Has hyperfocased on beauty and manipulation (ie. grasping for control)

Headcanon: she and iris were exposed to sunlight after birth. The physical wounds took all of her mystical abilities to heal and it just kinda never came back. Iris being the smaller never got any but spent the rest of her life feeling guilty over her sisters illness

(Dahlia also definitely milks the issue for all it's worth)

Bruce wayne (dc):

Reason:Gotham is gloomy but he really said let's do most of our actions at night. Also he went to the cinema late in fucking Gotham

Headcanon: it's one of the biggest reasons he blames himself for his parents death. His outings had to happen at night and his parents died for it. He blames himself for not just staying inside

Tim drake (dc):

Reason: was left home alone constantly, almost as if the parents didn't know how to relate to a disabled child.

Headcanon: doesn't think it's a big deal. Like genuinely doesn't get why people are so sympathetic towards him. Joker tried to burn him at dawn and one of his siblings broke his fucking arm. Is such a hoodie lover.

Penguine and most of lounge staff (dc):

Reason: that man has so much money. He could go move somewhere sunny if he wanted. The loungestaff because they will be loyal cause they understand him

Headcanon: was originally trying to make enough money to cure himself of his uv allergy but gave the fuck up after a stint of depression. He doesn't know batman has it and batman politely ignores that penguine has it.

Raven (teen titans):

Reason:obvious hooded figure is obvious

Headcanon:she doesn't hate it the way her mother did. I fact a weakness any weakness from her mom makes her feel more human despite its oddness

Ravens mother (dc):

Reason:hear me out. What else could have pushed her to join a cult and sleep with a demon besides feeling dirty and cursed.

Headcanon: was definitely bullied relentlessly for it. Became a school punching bag. Her old classmates are very lucky Raven is the magic and not her mother

April O'Neil (tmnt 2012):

Reason: we first see her out in The middle of the night and the turtles dont see her midday so whose saying she isn't.

Headcanon: hates being seen as fragile for something she can't control. Would be a fainter if she wasn't so damn stubborn. She loves an aesthetic sun visor

Nina sayers (black swan):

Reason:there's gotta be some sort of trigger to her mothers overprotectiveness

Headcanon: it's one of the reasons she couldn't black swan properly. Her mother fought it so fucking hard that any comfort and calm the night and the dark brang to her was also repressed. (Slept with a nightlight coded)

Ford pines (gravity falls);

Reason:

1) being born with one disability kinda opens pandoras box for you

2)he's a shut in living in a forest area

Headcanon: his intelligence was encouraged by his father cause he "didn't want to take care of the boy for the rest of his damn life."

Lucifer morningstar (hazbin hotel):

Reason: because making a being named morningstar allergic to sunlight sounds about right for the show. Never tries to leave hell.

Headcanon: use to be fine but falling literally changed his biology. This is just another punishment for him. Tried to leave hell once and almost burned to death.

Charlie morningstar (hazbin hotel):

Reason: she's related to her dad

Headcanon: she has a much lighter case. Might (of she's lucky) grow out of it. Her mom isn't allergic and it makes her a lil insecure even though she would never admit it.

Archie (pokemon):

Reason: covered up head to tow and doesn't seem like an outdoors person. Or a people person really.

Headcanon: still craves academic validation as a adult.

sabrina (pokemon, game):

Reason: it's implied she was created in a lab opening the doors to disabilities via human tampering. Covered up head to toe. Not a people person in a (very dangerous) different way then Archie (probably never developed social skills)

Headcanon: it all stems from being created in the lab rather then being born. It's so deeply a part of her that she doesn't even think of curing it.

At least one parasol lady(pokemon)

Reason: statistically there's gotta be at least one background/npc character with a solar allergy in the pokemon world. What other choice would that character have

Headcanon: vague parasol lady is super quiet about her diagnosis. She wears longer stallings then the others and desperately tries to blend in.

Kaguya houraison (touhou):

Reason: shes literally a moon princess. She is also is word of Fandom a shuttin. Probably the reason eiran is so obedient to her.

Headcanon: it's actually a point of pride for her. It's another trait that ties her to her heritage no matter how far away she is. Sure she can be forced away but they literally can't take this from her. It's something she clings to

Eclipsa (svtfoe):

Reason: she empathized with the ostracized and her assigned husband seemed to hate her. (Rip queen you deserved a better ex and a better show. Your shoulders must hurt from carrying svtfoe so long)

Headcanon: she is actually releived meteora doesn't seam to have it. As much as she wouldn't trade the empathy and emotional intelligence she gained from it for anything, she also knows its incredibly painful. Probably has the worst case mewnies ever seen.

Alice liddell (alice madness returns):

Reason: everything is gloomy even in the real world. Like I know she lives in London but still. There's gotta be a sunny day here and there.

Headcanon: because of her other diagnoses no one believes her. She has learned to keep her mouth shut and handle it herself

Celeste (animal crossing):

Reason: We only see her on starry nights. Seems a bit spicy and naive as if shes been just a bit sheltered.

Headcanon: her brother use to be jealous of the special treatment she got (being allowed to sleep during the day.) Until her disorder started to progress and she had to go to a hospital for a while.

Jack(animal crossing):

Reason: it's never confirmed he is actually supernatural. He covers up and runs around at night. He also seems to lack social skills (the trifecta)

Headcanon: was never officially diagnosed. Doesn't seem to understand its a disability. Good for him I guess. His pumpkin head is his disability aid

Eda hawthorne( but only sometimes):

Reason: demons are already supposed to be light sensitive(also demons aren't vampires don't start) but stress raises histamine levels.i just took the given info to its most extreme case

Headcanon: it's why she drinks so much. Even the dusky light of the isles is alot for her. She comes back to not just sore on the inside but with hives on the outside and theres nothing the healers can do for this part of the curse. Luz and king don't mention it. She was always a little allergic but She genuinely thinks it's all the curse.

The twili (twilight princess)

Reason: it's explained away with magic but it's borderline Canon forgive me if I'm wrong but I don't think they leave bones meaning at least some of it is biological

Headcanon: they run great big markets at night with food stalls and craftsman. It's a bit odd but bustling and honestly really beautiful.

Inuyashas mom (inuyasha):

Reason: no flashback ever shows her during daylight. Also Inuyashas dad probably had a savior complex

Headcanon: when she met inuyahas dad, he saved her from being beaten for being "cursed" spent alot of her spare time on inside hobbies.

Princess Yue (atla):

Reason: standard moon affiliations

Headcanon: she doesn't feel like she's missing much. Being hot and sweaty is a no thanks. Dresses in layers when forced outside during day

June (atla) :

Reason: her only friend seems to be a animal. Might be because other people fnd her disorder incredibly off-putting.

Headcanon: She acts tough but is actually really lonely. People only approach her when there's something that needs to be done.

Powder/jinx (arcane):

Reason: everyone around powder was very protective of her. So I assigned her to reason why.

Headcanon: shimmer actually made her skin worse. She ignores it for the most part.

Morticia Addams (the Addams family):

Reason: Girl took her diagnoses and fucking ran with it. It is now her entire personality.

Headcanon: the most extensive black silk glove collection on earth. It's really quite impressive. Shes got wrist length and opera length and charcoal and onyx. Is currently looking for one that has web like lace.

Love fortunes witch (kikis delivery service):

Reason:shes only shown for a couple minutes at night. "Love fortunes" sounds more like "let's overcompensate to make sure I'm liked"

Reason: his molecules got rearranged man. That can mean any disability. The world is world is oyster

Headcanon: it's painful but due to his healing factor it doesn't scar. Its why he got used to the pain of fighting so quick. Only phantom is allergic though both sides of him gets the constant adrenaline flow.

Alfred sees tiny Bruce and immediately covers everyone's ass by calling them army friends. He then excuses himself. He never got to say goodbye to the sweet innocent child Bruce was and he may be crying

Tim being surprisingly good with kids tells Bruce his parents had to fly out for a buisness meeting, and tiny itsy bitsy Bruce says "it's ok, I'm used to it. You can go home if you wanna." And Tim's heart just breaks

Cass sees him next and he straight up called her the coolest. She is smug, very very smug.

Steph plays babysitter. And decides to never let it go. Bruce will never condescend to her again. She takes pictures. He will never ever live this down.

Barbara waited for a childish wheelchair comment but it never came.

This whole time Damian is incredibly nervous. It's a strange feeling when your dad is the same age you are. He would rather die then admit it but he's worried that young Bruce won't like him. Bruce takes one look and decides he's his cousin.

At some point Jason excuses himself to go smoke and tiny b burst into tears "I don't want you to die uncle Jason, I don't, I don't i" the kid cut off hyperventilating and suddenly Jason felt like a younger more innocent child too. Slowly he set down the cigarettes and excused himself to the bathroom.

AU, where Bruce accidentally gets de-aged (physically and mentally), and the first person he bumps in is... Red Hood.

To Jason's defence, he didn't connect the dots at first. He was just patrolling around his usual turf, thinking of nothing in particular, when he saw a small child in a ridiculously serious suit, sulking around Crime Alley. He looks distraught, and considering that he looks rich, it is no surprise - that is not a place for him. So, he is either lost or something happened, right?

He takes the helmet off, as he usually does when he is dealing with kids (they got scared easily) and carefully approaches a brooding baby.

'Hey, shrimp. Where are your parents at?'

That said shrimp turns around, his big blue eyes looking confused and lost, and Jason thinks he looks awfully familiar.

'I am not shrimp,' he protests instantly, pouting at him. 'And they are somewhere... here. We just left the movie theatre together!'

Jason glances at the abandoned movie theatre, back at the little rich boy with a familiar frown, and it clicks. This is his fucking dad. Suddenly, a kid - but it is fucking Bruce Wayne, for sure.

'Was watching Zorro by any chance?' Jason still asks, just to be sure that he is not going insane.

Bruce - and it must be him - beams at him.

'Yes! This is a great movie, by the way.'

Oh, hell. At least, he didn't witness his parents' death just yet. Jason wasn't sure he would be able to deal with his father being so small, and mourning his mom and dad. He would probably cry himself at some point.

'Hey,' Jason calls out for him slowly, squatting down; God, who would've thought that this little shrimp would become so tall and big in the future. 'Aren't you... You must be Thomas's kid, right?'

Okay, yeah, Jason is going to lie to this kid. Because there is no way he manages just to steal Bruce as a stranger to bring him back home; it is still a kid, even if it is his father. Right?

'You know my dad?' Bruce tilts his head, little fingers tugging on the hem of his jacket; suspicious.

'You could say that,' Jason nods. 'Alfie... I mean, Alfred called me. Asked me to pick up a kid, since Thomas and Martha got an urgent call.'

Fuck his life and stupid life choices. What the hell he was even doing? He looked like a mugger; or like a psycho. But Alfred was his best bet - he could call him, after all; ask, well, support his idiotic made-up story.

'No one calls Alfred Alfie but my dad,' Bruce pouts in a very, very spoiled manner.

'Well... I do. We served together in the army,' he blurts out.

His armour, apparently, is enough a proof for the kid to nod slowly.

'Okay. But you gotta take off your strange mask first,' Bruce folds arms on his chest.

'Uh,' Jason nods awkwardly, and because he is an idiot, adds a joke: 'We are brothers, actually. Just don't talk much.'

...Apparently, little Bruce can't take jokes. Because he lets out an adorable gasp, and throws himself on Jason as if they knew each other for ages now.

Reason:she always has a parasol and seems to have some built up frustration. Has hyperfocased on beauty and manipulation (ie. grasping for control)

Headcanon: she and iris were exposed to sunlight after birth. The physical wounds took all of her mystical abilities to heal and it just kinda never came back. Iris being the smaller never got any but spent the rest of her life feeling guilty over her sisters illness

(Dahlia also definitely milks the issue for all it's worth)

Bruce wayne (dc):

Reason:Gotham is gloomy but he really said let's do most of our actions at night. Also he went to the cinema late in fucking Gotham

Headcanon: it's one of the biggest reasons he blames himself for his parents death. His outings had to happen at night and his parents died for it. He blames himself for not just staying inside

Tim drake (dc):

Reason: was left home alone constantly, almost as if the parents didn't know how to relate to a disabled child.

Headcanon: doesn't think it's a big deal. Like genuinely doesn't get why people are so sympathetic towards him. Joker tried to burn him at dawn and one of his siblings broke his fucking arm. Is such a hoodie lover.

Penguine and most of lounge staff (dc):

Reason: that man has so much money. He could go move somewhere sunny if he wanted. The loungestaff because they will be loyal cause they understand him

Headcanon: was originally trying to make enough money to cure himself of his uv allergy but gave the fuck up after a stint of depression. He doesn't know batman has it and batman politely ignores that penguine has it.

Raven (teen titans):

Reason:obvious hooded figure is obvious

Headcanon:she doesn't hate it the way her mother did. I fact a weakness any weakness from her mom makes her feel more human despite its oddness

Ravens mother (dc):

Reason:hear me out. What else could have pushed her to join a cult and sleep with a demon besides feeling dirty and cursed.

Headcanon: was definitely bullied relentlessly for it. Became a school punching bag. Her old classmates are very lucky Raven is the magic and not her mother

April O'Neil (tmnt 2012):

Reason: we first see her out in The middle of the night and the turtles dont see her midday so whose saying she isn't.

Headcanon: hates being seen as fragile for something she can't control. Would be a fainter if she wasn't so damn stubborn. She loves an aesthetic sun visor

Nina sayers (black swan):

Reason:there's gotta be some sort of trigger to her mothers overprotectiveness

Headcanon: it's one of the reasons she couldn't black swan properly. Her mother fought it so fucking hard that any comfort and calm the night and the dark brang to her was also repressed. (Slept with a nightlight coded)

Ford pines (gravity falls);

Reason:

1) being born with one disability kinda opens pandoras box for you

2)he's a shut in living in a forest area

Headcanon: his intelligence was encouraged by his father cause he "didn't want to take care of the boy for the rest of his damn life."

Lucifer morningstar (hazbin hotel):

Reason: because making a being named morningstar allergic to sunlight sounds about right for the show. Never tries to leave hell.

Headcanon: use to be fine but falling literally changed his biology. This is just another punishment for him. Tried to leave hell once and almost burned to death.

Charlie morningstar (hazbin hotel):

Reason: she's related to her dad

Headcanon: she has a much lighter case. Might (of she's lucky) grow out of it. Her mom isn't allergic and it makes her a lil insecure even though she would never admit it.

Maxie(pokemon):

Reason: covered up head to tow and doesn't seem like an outdoors person. Or a people person really.

Headcanon: still craves academic validation as a adult.

sabrina (pokemon, game):

Reason: it's implied she was created in a lab opening the doors to disabilities via human tampering. Covered up head to toe. Not a people person in a (very dangerous) different way then Archie (probably never developed social skills)

Headcanon: it all stems from being created in the lab rather then being born. It's so deeply a part of her that she doesn't even think of curing it.

At least one parasol lady(pokemon)

Reason: statistically there's gotta be at least one background/npc character with a solar allergy in the pokemon world. What other choice would that character have

Headcanon: vague parasol lady is super quiet about her diagnosis. She wears longer stallings then the others and desperately tries to blend in.

Kaguya houraison (touhou):

Reason: shes literally a moon princess. She is also is word of Fandom a shuttin. Probably the reason eiran is so obedient to her.

Headcanon: it's actually a point of pride for her. It's another trait that ties her to her heritage no matter how far away she is. Sure she can be forced away but they literally can't take this from her. It's something she clings to

Eclipsa (svtfoe):

Reason: she empathized with the ostracized and her assigned husband seemed to hate her. (Rip queen you deserved a better ex and a better show. Your shoulders must hurt from carrying svtfoe so long)

Headcanon: she is actually releived meteora doesn't seam to have it. As much as she wouldn't trade the empathy and emotional intelligence she gained from it for anything, she also knows its incredibly painful. Probably has the worst case mewnies ever seen.

Alice liddell (alice madness returns):

Reason: everything is gloomy even in the real world. Like I know she lives in London but still. There's gotta be a sunny day here and there.

Headcanon: because of her other diagnoses no one believes her. She has learned to keep her mouth shut and handle it herself

Reason: We only see her on starry nights. Seems a bit spicy and naive as if shes been just a bit sheltered.

Headcanon: her brother use to be jealous of the special treatment she got (being allowed to sleep during the day.) Until her disorder started to progress and she had to go to a hospital for a while.

Jack(animal crossing):

Reason: it's never confirmed he is actually supernatural. He covers up and runs around at night. He also seems to lack social skills (the trifecta)

Headcanon: was never officially diagnosed. Doesn't seem to understand its a disability. Good for him I guess. His pumpkin head is his disability aid

Eda hawthorne( but only sometimes):

Reason: demons are already supposed to be light sensitive(also demons aren't vampires don't start) but stress raises histamine levels.i just took the given info to its most extreme case

Headcanon: it's why she drinks so much. Even the dusky light of the isles is alot for her. She comes back to not just sore on the inside but with hives on the outside and theres nothing the healers can do for this part of the curse. Luz and king don't mention it. She was always a little allergic but She genuinely thinks it's all the curse.

Reason: it's explained away with magic but it's borderline Canon forgive me if I'm wrong but I don't think they leave bones meaning at least some of it is biological

Headcanon: they run great big markets at night with food stalls and craftsman. It's a bit odd but bustling and honestly really beautiful.

Inuyashas mom (inuyasha):

Reason: no flashback ever shows her during daylight. Also Inuyashas dad probably had a savior complex

Headcanon: when she met inuyahas dad, he saved her from being beaten for being "cursed" spent alot of her spare time on inside hobbies.

Reason: standard moon affiliations

The bats have so many folks around, even if they aren't always working together. Enough that folks like to joke/write about Danny just kinda showing up acting like he already lives there. He just kinda blends in.

I'd love to see more magic motivated versions of this. Some kind of spell that affects the bat's perceptions of the past and present, making them actually miss that this boy wasn't with their family too long ago. Maybe it changes their understanding like it's a time line shift, maybe it fogs their mind just a tad and makes them glaze past something like it wasn't even there. I like the second if only because I feel like that would make it more likely for the bats to realize a spell was a foot.

Imagining this from Danny's side, hes terrified this whole time of getting found out. He knows how and when he showed up here and maybe even how flimsy whatever magic is in place is. Imagining a Desiree wish that was either very carefully worded or Not so carefully worded. Maybe he placed himself with the Wayne family with the expectation that he would quietly mooch of some rich idiot until he was ready to be on his own. Or maybe he wished himself to be a part of the batclan, taking up a mask and patroling with them as a bird that Doesn't Exist.

Ofc eventually the spell has to be broken, leaving the bats confused worried scared angry probably even amused, and a billion other things. WHY did this teenager decide to adopt himself into the Wayne/bat family? Who the hell is he and where did he come from. Someone call Zatanna, there is some magic Fuckery going on.

“Yes.” King Thor Odinson, Asgardian and god of thunder agreed.

“And they’re evil.”

“A bit of an oversimplification, but yes.” Prince Loki Odinson, sometimes villain and would be planet invader, answered.

“And the ghosts have had one ruler, the most powerful ghost in existence. And that new rulers are chosen by combat, meaning that every new ruler is more powerful than the last.”

“Yes, you’ve got the idea.” Thor said looking down at his knees for a moment.

“And since ghosts are so evil and so powerful, that means that their ruler is practically an unstoppable force of destruction.”

“Doesn’t it sound delightful?” Loki asked, to which he received a glare.

“So, for the past 10,000 years, at least, Asgard and plenty of other realms have been paying taxes to the ghost king to avoid a war. A racketeering scheme.”

“I don’t know what a racketeering scheme is but yes, the ghost peace treaty does require that Asgard pay the ghost king gold and magical weapons every century and if we fail to pay that price, then the peace treaty will be broken and Asgard will likely be forfeit.”

“That’s a racketeering scheme!”

“Well then yes.”

Tony pinched the bridge of his nose. It was clear the man’s headache was only growing stronger as he walked through the information the two gods had dumped into his lap this morning. Thor and Loki both had rushed into his lab and started babbling about world ending threats and how they might possibly be absolutely screwed.

“So, now there’s a new king. Which means a new peace treaty has to be signed.” Tony said the words ‘peace treaty’ in the same way he’d say ‘nuclear bomb’ or ‘Steve Rogers’.

“I thought you said it was a racketeering scheme?” Loki asked.

“Shut it.” Tony hissed.

“A new treaty must be signed.” Thor repeated, trying to keep the three of them on track.

“And since the last king Pariah Dark was so powerful that he made the entirety of Asgard tremble, you’re pretty sure this new king, Phantom, is probably worse.”

“Pariah Dark had the power to suck entire planets into the afterlife, destroying them,” Loki said looking at his nails. “Stands to reason that a ghost powerful enough to defeat him could do much, much worse.”

“Right. Fantastic!” Tony practically shouted.

“I don’t think anything about this is fantastic.” Thor admitted, he was ignored.

“And according to you Asgard has been paying the ghost tax for both their realm and ours since we were under Odin’s protection. And since Hela and Sutur destroyed your entire planet and your entire people are refugees, now we have to figure out how to keep an ultrapowerful ghost from wiping out our home without any way of paying him.”

“Technically we don’t know if Phantom is a ‘he’.” Loki pointed out unhelpfully.

“The letter literally says he’s a king!”

“Could be a title. What do the dead have need for gender?”

There has been so much talk about how to cast Carrie in the upcoming Carrie movie. What she would look like. I think that's a mistake.

The best way to make a Carrie movie, in my honest opinion, is to not show her face. Show the cruelty yes, show the gossip, show the cruel prank from behind her, and show the aftermath, but don't show her face.

That way people who have known a "carrie" and let's be honest, just about everyone has known a carrie, will instinctively imagine her face as that one girl they knew. The girl whose bullying was both a team sport and a spectacle. The girl who was failed by peers and her elders alike. This would force people to face themselves and their own cruelty.

And the people who understand Carrie, who have been Carrie will be able to project on her a little easier and get more catharsis from the ending of that town.

Furthermore this would empathize the nature of rumors, gossip, and to an extent folklore. Frame it in the context of a generation or two forward from a neighboring town. That way everyone talks about Carrie but no one sees her, just like in life.
