For those of you who answered smut, you're all monsters, and I'm a monster too because I'm writing it.

Hello! I've been convinced to read your fic (I just started chapter 1 today and I'm so excited! I loved the way you opened it.) And I just want to know if you're definitely planning on finishing it?
I know fic is free and you have no obligation to finish it, please don't take this question unkindly. I simply don't read unfinished fics often and I have fears lol
Yay! I'm excited too! I hope you enjoy it!
I completely understand your concern. No worries! I do have every intension of completing Nocturne. However, I won't lie to you. It might take me several months to do so.
Now, while this might be off putting, please understand, Nocturne will be novel length by its completion, of this I have no doubt.
I look at this as a good thing. I'll get to spend time in this universe, building everything up, practice writing a long fic. Again, it's all about build up and pay off. I'm pretty happy with all the things I've built up thus far. (I won't ruin the story for you, but look forward to it!) But now, I have to start paying things off.
My current updating schedule is once a week, and I will continue strive to meet that self-imposed deadline. However, I still want to produce quality material for my readers and ensure that everything makes narrative sense. Therefore, some chapters might need more time than others - like chapter 8 for instance.
Additionally, I am not impervious to bouts of burnout and the desire to socialize. With that in mind, I might take a week off here and there for my sanity and for the sake of the story.
So to speak to your concerns, I have an outline of this story, I have a weekly/biweekly updating schedule, and now I have lovely readers that want to know what happens~~ All of which work together for my success! Nocturne will get done even if it takes me a while to complete.
Side bar: Please continue to share your thoughts with me! I love to hear theories and what people enjoyed, etc.

Happy Birthday to Rogue Seeker (2020)!!!
On 9/03/2020, the first fic entry of it was posted. Limbo of the Creator
8/10/2020, is when I posted my first pic of RS (2020)!
2/23/2015 is when I posted the very first incarnation of RS (2015). From my old voidwings 1.0 blog, an rp thread.
I'll prolly start reblogging the ancient 2015 material here to have it all in one place.

i love it when characters are codependent. i love it when losing someone feels like losing a limb. i love it when two people "complete" each other so wholly and terribly that one can barely function without the other. i love it when the fear of losing the only person who understands them is so all-consuming they'll destroy anything to stay together, including themselves.

Bruce: *waking up in a hospital that he drove himself to after having a heart attack and telling absolutely nobody* hey…
The entirety of the batclan looking over him with Dick in the centre, an absolute terrifying grin on his face:
Dick: hello Bruce, nice evening isn’t it? Got something to share with us?
Edit: the fic is now out on ao3! https://archiveofourown.org/works/57780508

I don’t care if this comes off as cruel but you are not entitled to fanfiction. You are not entitled to podfics. You are not entitled to translated works.
Creators are not paid to make fanworks. People spend years of their lives writing fic and getting nothing in return except positive interactions. You can ask to make a translation. You can ask to make a pod fic. But you cannot demand it.
And because the only thing fanfic writers get in return for their work is positive feedback, taking away an authors ability to receive that is disgusting. Authors deserve to have full control and ownership of their works.
Fanfic isn’t a product to consume and then demand more of. Authors and creators deserve better.
