I thought it would be funny to make Tim the sassiest one of the bat bros. To contrast Jason who starts of belligerent but softens up over time, I think Tim would start of reaaaally shy, afraid of doing anything that would make people angry at him. The longer he stays with the Waynes though, the more comfortable he is speaking his mind and acting up. His natural snark comes out and it absolutely drives Bruce up the wall but also makes him feel all fuzzy and warm (because he feels safe with us, Alfie)

Okay I’ve been try to find this fic and I’m not even sure if it’s still on ao3 but it’s about Tim and Jason, Jason is Red Hood and Tim’s a kid. Jason basically adopts Tim and Tim meets some of Jason’s goons/lieutenants, he figures out it’s someone’s birthday and then Jason has to throw a birthday party for like all his goons. His second in command is named Marco and that’s all I can remember. Oh and Marco kinda likes and is terrified of Nightwing and Dick thinks it’s funny.

The ultimate comedy/angst idea. Tim has issues with authority without even knowing what authority is.

Like he's the pinnacle of latchkey kid. His parents weren't there to tell him no or anything and he has a shit ton of money. In the comics he very clearly goes "lol no" to every rule and has the "ask for forgiveness rather than permission" mindset.

Imagine when Bruce gets his shit together and like wants to start actually parenting Tim rather that Tim parenting him and like it fails miserably.
