Trans-Nonbinary Combo flags

I overlaid the two flags, and then followed the color layout of the nb flag but adding in elements of the trans flag (so the blue and pink on the bottom).

The color black was mixed in with the blue because I was having trouble incorporating it in any other way (though it's directly present on the symbol versions).

The first flag follows the color layout of the Nonbinary flag.

The second takes the two stripes from the bottom of the first and puts them on top, to match the "mirror" layout of the trans flag.

The third is the same as the first, but swapping the white and lavender stripe for those who'd want a white middle stripe like on the trans flag.

Because these are so simple and might resemble other people's combo flags I added a version of this Trans symbol with an asterisk in the middle (similar to how these nonbinary man and nonbinary woman symbols use it).

NBMtF Diary#01: going outside

Nobody told me it’d be so hard to go out outside. Took my time getting dressed in the skirt and top. Adjusted the cross body leatherbag and felt comfortable af with it surprisingly. Stared at myself for awhile like the perv I am, and then... stood there.

Walked all the way to the front door and... stood there. Couldn’t even touch the knob. Just stood there.

Knew it was odd. That this shouldn’t be hard, but... I stood there.

I’ve already gone out thrice now. This time’s not much different. Even to the same location. Sure, there’s a bag under my arm now. And a skirt below my shirt. But... I stood there.

Yeah, the shirt’s practically the same as before. And I’ve still got the beard. So I probably look like a hot oddity confusing dafuq outta people 💅🏿 But still... It’s not the same. Not at all.

There’s no mistaking me anymore. No wondering. The pants before were debatable. The skirt now? Obvious.

Spot me from a mile away. As soon as I turn my head. “That’s a beard!” “What is that guy?!” Am I gonna die?

Probably not. Maybe. Confident enough for a 1-on-1. But not willing to try a 2-on-1. And if they’ve got a knife? And if they drive by with a gun? Will I be another one?

I've been seeing a disturbing number of "queer safe spaces" describe themselves as things like "femme & them" and even worse "she+," conflating femininity & nonbinaryhood. cease this immediately. say it with me: nonbinary people are NOT women-lite and it is extremely violent and straight up incorrect to imply that all they/thems are fem adjacent. this is erasure and this verbiage does nothing but make gnc and nonbinary spaces unsafe for masc and male nonbinary people. nonbinary, genderqueer and other third gender people can be and are masculine and men, we can be hes as well as shes and theys, stop allowing yourself and your peers to view nonbinary as woman/femme-lite, signed a butch nonbinary person.
