Random prompt #76
"I've waited millennia for you to come back to me... Why are you hiding from me?"
"Because, unlike you, I miss the comfortable mortal life!" "Do you not miss me then? You still insist choosing humans who would fear the real you over me, dear beloved?" "I do miss you, but I can't live another century in that stiffy temple of yours, dearest."

Running was never easy.
Coincidentally, it was how she met dick, or better known as Richard Grayson.
Jasmine Fenton was many things, an awesome sister, an A+ student and wonder of her generation.
But everything fell away the moment she saw her tiny brother, de-aged, and 5 seconds away from being experimented on by their parents.
So she packed a bag and ran with the toddler in her arms.
She was neither impulsive nor naive.
But for once she hoped, prayed and took the hand of help Dick grayson extended to her.
In his arms was a little girl, around Danny's age, her name was Mar'i and she loved her just as much as she did with Danny.
One thing led to another and they gotten married, fled the country and hid in an apartment owned by one of Dick's friends. Her name was Barbara.
(It wasn't easy for any of them. Jazz saw the loving and uncertain glances between the two, felt guilty when she fell for the wheelchair user whenever she consoled one of the children.
She didn't notice the same look on Dick's face, staring at her in turn.
It took many months and talks until they were on the same page. It took even longer for the three of them to try dating.
They never did anything for her to feel excluded despite shared history, Jazz is glad she found a home with them.)

God Whumpee
It's honestly shocking how little there is on divine whump or more specifically, gods getting whumped so here's a list of some of my own ideas:
Consuming poisoned offerings
Another god trying to usurp their domain
Undergoing a slow demise due to the loss of their religion/domain and knowing they can't do anything about it
Committing a mistake and all the other gods turn against them because of it
Watching a demigod suffer and feeling guilty about it
Being punished by having their godhood stripped from them
Ruling over a domain that is feared, despised or mistrusted
Cursing someone (e.g. a worshipper, a demigod, a fellow god) in a fit of blind rage and regretting it later as they watch the consequences unfold
Having their reputation being unfairly tarnished because their followers keep misinterpreting their instructions for their own gain
Being betrayed by another god they trusted or didn't expect it from
A human suffering the process of deification as mortal flesh and brains can barely withstand so much power and knowledge

arthur (prince of camelot) still has to study under a tutor bc yknow uther wants him to be very intelligent before becoming king or something bc its super important idk idc anyways merlin is doing chores in his chambers while arthur is squinting at a book and merlin eventually caves and asks him what he’s reading and arthur gruffly explains that its a collection of stories from greece that make absolutely no sense so merlin asks him to read them outloud to him. arthur of course teases him and calls him an idiot and asks how he could possibly help but does as he’s asked and reads the stories to merlin as he does his chores. merlin (being crushed under the weight of destiny and tormented by the prophecies that kilgharrah spews) understands the stories almost immediately and gets all excited and starts rambling about them with arthur. arthur is glad to have someone who understands so he can give something that reflects a hint of understanding to his tutor who accepts it and moves onto the next unit of education.
the thing is, arthur finds more stories in camelot’s library and brings them up to his room to read them aloud to merlin under the guise of completing his studies but really he just wants to watch as merlin’s eyes gleam when he understands whats happening and listen to him ramble on and on about them bc he’s gay. the stories stick with merlin though and he realizes that they’re cautionary tales, that the heroes who were told too much of their future doomed themself to fulfill them - that them fighting the prophecies led to their completion. merlin takes it to heart and gives a big “fuck you” to kilgharrah before forging his own fate and helping morgana with her magic and handing out an olive branch to mordred and now everyone can live happily and peacefully in an albion teeming with magic.
#merlin and arthur are of course at each others side in the end#merlin is curled up with arthur in their bed and says a silent thank you to his king for saving him#arthur returns the sentiment wholeheartedly#bbc merlin#merlin emrys#arthur pendragon#merthur#fic idea#fanfic#fanfiction#headcanon#hc#head canon#merthur prompt#i have my own hc of fate vs destiny in bbc merlin and i like to incorporate that into everything i write#but then i realize that not everyone thinks that way lmao#i like to think that destiny is unavoidable. merlin and arthur are destined to form albion and lead it together#i think fate is like a fragile version of destiny#i think most people are tied to fate and will follow what they are fated to do unless those who arent tied down by fate change course#like i hc that seers are able to see the potential future of what is to happen should they not interfere#and the goddess leaves it up to them to choose. so like seers arent tied down by fate and can change the course of history#since merlin is literally magic incarnate i also think he isnt tied down by fate and can act to change things#kilgharrah told merlin the prophecy that would result in the dragon getting free and ending the pendragon line#and since merlin never got close w like any druids or magic users. no one told him the inner workings of fate vs destiny#so he listened to the dragons warnings dooming him to fulfill the prophecy that brought about one of the worst possible futures#bc the dragon was salty about his whole species being eradicated by uther and vowed to destroy the pendragon line#omg im ranting okay post over thank you and good night

Dp x Dc x Miraculous: Deified Siblings AU Pt. 1
Based on 2 Prompts.
One is the Deified Batman AU , which you can read here
The other is a Prompt where Danny, Damien, and Marinette are raised together in the League of Assassins. I can't find it at all, so I will go over the gist of it here. (Edit: Found it!, thank you to the person in Replies who linked me)
Danny is the oldest, about 3 or 4 years older than. The other 2. He is the favorite child.
Danny is 10, Damien and Marinette are 6
Damien is seen as the spare, Marinette is seen as the unfortunate addition.
As the Prompt goes, Danny wants to escape the League and takes his little siblings with him. Damien, fully brainwashed by the Leagues ideals, stabs Danny in the back and drops him off a cliff into a River below, thinking he killed him. He tries to take Marinette back, but she backs away and runs.
Damien returns, tells the League that Danny tried to run away and got himself and Marinette killed in the process. Damien only survived because he wasn't stupid enough to try and leave the League.
Damien stays in the League for a while, before he is eventually taken to his father, The Batman when he is 10
Danny survived his murder attempt, but he lost all of his memories and washed up on the shore of the river miles away. He was found by the Fentons, who were in Europe on a research trip, and was adopted. Canon goes the same for him.
Marinette ran away, using her skills to get all the way to Paris before managing to get adopted by a loving couple. She becomes Ladybug at 13, the same as in Canon.
This is where the Deification happens.
...
Lets go Oldest to youngest.
Danny became a God the moment he died. As a Demigod, he was already partially Divine. When he lost his Mortality, he became what was essentially a God with no Domain. So, he built one up.
He became known as a Protector Spirit, as a Winter Spirit, and after defeating Pariah, as a Death God.
By the time he was 16, he was a fully fledged God.
This did help his amnesia a little bit, and he did have a vague sense of what his life was like before he lost his memories, as well as some flashes. But he knew that he preferred his new life, so he never really looked into it.
...
Damien is the only one who would eventually ascend to God-Hood through Natural Growth.
Damien takes the Mantle of the Robin. And as such, he links himself directly to his father's source of Power, and creates his own Legend, his own Myths. He becomes his own God at around 14.
He is a Vengeful God, one who is Violent. But at the same time he is an Animal God, one who takes care of the abandoned Animals around him. Probably a carry over from his Dad's Protector God Domain.
...
Marinette became a God last. She had it easiest though.
Marinette was born as a Demigod, and later became Linked with Tikki, who is basically a Small Part of the Goddess of Creation tied to the Miraculous.
Her own fledging Divinity mixed with Tikki'a Divinity and helped her Acsend to God-Hood after about a Year as Hero when she is 14.
She would have done so anyways as a Hero, but without the Gotham Pantheon to attach herself to, it would have taken many more years for her to grow enough to Ascend.
She became a Minor Creation Goddess. She also became a Goddess of Creativity, and Protection as well.
If you are worried about the Balance between Creation and Destruction don't worry, Adrien also becomes a God soon afterwards. His Ascension is mostly because he is a being made of Magic (as a SentiMonster) who was linked with a God through his Miraculous.
(I don't like the stories where Adrien is mistreated for no reason, so here he at least gets to be Ladybugs Equal)
...
This is the basic premise of the Prompt. I am planning on writing out the potential Story in a Part 2, but until then what do you think?
(Honestly looking at this after finishing writing it, it feels absurd. 3 different Fandoms, plus 2 different Dp x Dc Prompts. You need to be DEEP in the Crossover Fandoms to really understand this. Imagine a casual fan finding this! It would look like Pure insanity!)

Things I would tell myself 5 years ago:
Just because you’re nice and selfless for other people does not mean they’ll be nice and selfless for you. There is no problem with being nice, kind, and selfless, but it needs to have boundaries.
Do not ever settle. You will be unhappy (or worse traumatized).
You cannot change a man. Your love won’t change him. People decide to change if they want to and on their own accord.
You’re not Jesus. You’re not God. You cannot save everyone.
Take people as they are. If someone shows you who there are, believe them.
Do not date for potential. Do not EVER marry for potential. You’ll potentially get hurt and traumatized.
Have Boundaries, Standards, and Expectations.
Not everyone keeps their promises no matter how much you remind them. If they can’t keep their word, leave them alone.
Never make room for disrespect. Communicate once on it and if they continue to do the same thing (even if it is wrapped in a different bow), leave them alone. They don’t respect you.
Don’t give men the benefit of the doubt. There are too many examples of how unhealthy men are dangerous.

minthara/lae'zel A4!
This prompt might have been made with this ship in mind... Thank you so much for requesting this one! 💜
You can send a prompt from this list + a ship or platonic pair, and I'll write a ficlet!
---
A4. Teaching one another their language(s)
Standing on the battlement of the High Hall's curtain wall, Minthara leaned between the shattered merlons and rested her weight on tired arms. She surveyed the destruction of Baldur's Gate. So much potential lost, so many souls burned away who might have been useful for something more than dragonfire fodder.
All without even a throne to lay claim to in the end. The power of the Netherbrain had been denied by their foolish leader, and Minthara had no intentions of joining their victory parade down in the streets. Not while she had another waiting on her.
Eyes closed in meditation, legs crossed beneath her, Lae'zel murmured. She said words that Minthara knew to be gith, but she barely understood more than a smattering of ideas and phrases.
"To whom do you now pray?" asked Minthara, her voice carrying on the quiet evening's air.
"It is not a prayer. It is rectification of an old lie," Lae'zel corrected. "It's an old githyanki hymn. A mantra we believed to be passed down from Mother Gith herself."
"Share it with me."
"Taking an interest in more advanced cultures, drow?"
"I know a little of the gith," Minthara explained, "but I know even less of what you hold dear about your people." She turned to lean against the embrasure, watching Lae'zel's eyes scan her. "Come. Speak it with the verve and strength I expect from you."
With that, Lae'zel slowly repeated a string of harsh consonants that Minthara learned to expect from the language. Minthara caught a particular rhythm that felt like stanzas, and she heard what might have been called a rhyming scheme.
It was a jagged series of sounds, sharp and angry. A curved sword on Lae'zel's tongue.
"It is beautiful," Minthara whispered. "And it means?"
"Live, but only if you live free. Die so as to remain standing." Lae'zel spoke slowly with reverence. Then, her voice became darker, and her wide eyes slitted into lines. "Fire in the skies, blood in the water. Look to the spirit, turn from sensation."
"I take it the last few lines were a rather recent addition."
"They're Vlaakith's words, and I wonder why it is I trusted them."
Minthara chuckled. "There's a saying in drowic that you might like, then."
Lae'zel merely stared at her.
"Jal khaless zhah waela," Minthara said while she unbuckled her gauntlet straps. Tossing aside her gauntlets, she continued. "All trust is foolish, literally. Or to most drow, paranoia and fear are your greatest allies. Curious how Lolth and Vlaakith both demand such things from their children."
"It is almost as if these goddesses forget who gives them power," growled Lae'zel as she stood to her feet.
"As if the words we were taught to speak were pointed, intentional shackles on our ambition." Minthara approached her, heat burning in her chest. "On what we are owed."
Lae'zel's small nose flared and her pupils darted about, searching Minthara's face. Her breaths accelerated. Her fingers curled into her palms.
"My," said Minthara, "you are so easily moved."
"Whenever you speak, my heart listens enraptured." Lae'zel rested her hand on Minthara's waist. "I become dust that flows in the storm of your words."
"And when you crumble for me," Minthara breathed, gripping Lae'zel's hips until her fingers dug into flesh, "I yearn to put you back together."

There were some people who saw Maple as a cheater, others who saw her as a power players, still others who saw her as something of a mascot of NewWorld Online. To some, she was even considered a goddess of the fantasy world.
But to Sally, to Risa, she was a dear and invaluable friend. Still, unfortunately, just a friend.
Sally was not an expert flirt, even if Maple truly enjoyed her company, she still found it difficult to take that final step. However brave, however confident she was in her abilities as a gamer, her heart was still vulnerable.

Had a fun idea where, for whatever reason (Clockwork. Of course it’s Clockwork), Jason ends up in Amity after digging himself out of his grave and finds himself as part of Team Phantom (because, y’know, dead guys gotta stick together) and eventually he takes the Trio and Jazz back to Gotham with him to do the Red Hood thing sans heads-in-a-duffel-bag (because why would he want to make his problems permanent by turning them into ghosts). So they’re all crime lords/vigilantes/Spooky Bastards.
They're like a proto version of The Outlaws.

evil brain bits in coming
what if, instead of Chayanne that come to worship the blood god like his hero Technoblade it was Tallulah instead.
Chayanne for all of his claim to one day would become as great as the great Technoblade, he had never even consider to become a servant to the blood god like Techno, because as the son of the Angel of Death of course he would be under the protection of Kristin goddes of death.
Chayanne is a strong kid mind you, there is no doubt that one day he would achieve his dream of becoming a great warrior and or Hero, Philza had made sure to train his young son to be able to protect himself and those around him, be the great champion Philza always believe he will be.
but not like Techno never like his idol.
because Philza would never let his son be under the same care and madness of the Blood God.
but Tallulah in the other hand, sweet fragile weak little flower Tallulah could never be as strong as Chayanne, she always the one that have to be protected always the one to be left behind as all of her siblings fight tooth and nails for their survival while she stood back and stare.
Philza of course teach her some things, the Angel would never let anyone under his care unable to weild a sword, but his lessons for her was never like the ones he gave Chayanne, sweet and caring grandpa Philza would rather have her not fight at all if he could have his way.
for once she wishes to be strong, to be able to protect to be useful just like Chayanne.
(we can help you/ you want to be strong little girl?/ Let us HELP/ yes BE Strong/ Do you want OUR HELP)
she listened to The Voices that talks to her in her darkest times.
follow every step that they told her to in order to gain the power that they promised to her.
she harden her heart to the pittiful cry of one of her Venus
the sacrifice she must pays was nothing in comparison to the one that she will gain.
in the darkest part of the land when the moon rise to crimson red, the Children of the Blood God, THE VOICES wellcome another to their teachings.
( WELCOME OUR DEAR TALLULAH OUR NEW BLOOD QUEEN )
the once warm hazel eyes had turn the same Crimson red that shines on the sky

Random prompt #82
"What do you want this time, Supervillain?" Deity sighs, swirling the wine around in their glass with gentle movements of their wrist. They were draped elegantly over the white marble of their throne, robes flowing around them.
"Am I not able to worship you anymore, my dearest god(dess)?" The master criminal replies, their serpentine gaze trailing over the ethereal being in front of them. They suppressed a shiver at the sudden burst of power from Deity's direction as they spoke, reminding them of just how easily they could crush Supervillain like a bug under their heel.
"The last time you made that excuse to see me," The pause between Deity's words made them ring even more threatening in Supervillain's ears as they stood, taking their time to reach the bottom of the marble steps. "You had stolen from me."
"I care not for the gold and the amulet and the priceless magic relics that you thought you had smuggled flawlessly," The deity continued, their power increasing tenfold as they took Supervillain by the chin, pulling them forward. "But my heart? That is something no mortal should have."
"Then perhaps you should make me immortal."
Deity blinked at Supervillain's words, slowly scanning the scalding heat within their eyes. The flame they had wished to distinguish so many years ago remained, burning bright with challenge more than ever.
They scoffed, dropping Supervillain's chin from their hand and instead turning with a flourish to stalk up back to their pedastal.
"Convince me. Tell me why I should give such a prideful, dangerous and selfish being the chance to die over and over again without consequence."
"Because you love me, that's why. You would hate to see the moment I finally meet my end... Wouldn't you?"

Hera's Heir
Here is a story idea for anyone that would like to use it.
So many stories have children of Zeus or Poseidon or countless other deities. I have never seen a child, heir or legacy of Hera. Hera is a great, powerful, interesting character in mythology that could have created a child or legacy with incredible powers! However, again, she would never have a regular demigod so most don't use her. That makes sense to be honest, since Hera was entirely against affairs and was the goddess of marriage... however, if you are an author, loopholes are not hard to find.
Here are a few...
Made from Clay, like Pandora, this child would be crafted by Hephaestus or Hera herself. Brought to life by Hera's power, this child could start out not knowing of their powers or status for some time before coming to life.
Next, Hera could have breastfed them. Hercules only gained super strength through this method, thanks to Athena tricking Hera, so really it could have been an interesting idea.
Last, she could have willed herself to become pregnant like she had with Hephaestus, which was well within her power.
Loneliness, jealousy over Zeus, or just curious could be some of the many paths you could use to create this character. Hera is a goddess of family and ruler-ship, of marriage and women, she would and could create a child of immense and interesting power...
So... yeah!

"There was a time, long before your birth, when Father Time and Mother Night quarrelled. Mother swore she would not tread wherever the hands of Time could reach her. And for the passing of three centuries, withdrew, and bade me be all Sleep, all Dream and all Night in her stead.
The denizens of earth named me Dew Masker, Night Bringer, Sleeps Joy, Dream Weaver, Fair Lightless, Accursed Unlight.
I rode my steed Nachtmerrie the Frost-Maned, for my travels were limitless and my duties inordinate. Death called it a cruelty, Desire, favoritism. But I did as Mother commanded with nary a protest. Though the burden was great.
In a rare show of grace, Mother gifted me my Cloak of Night to keep upon her return. And my memories of Moon and Stars to adorn my halls.
Should I show you? Should I show you my Hob? Should I show you the one Mother called her Sweet DuskDawn? The one known as Darkness? "

"I really thought humans would worship us more," said God A.
"Oh, A! You make me laugh," Goddess B cackled, slamming her giant fists on her stone chair. "Humans don't listen to anyone. Look at the ones who have visited us. They ignored every order they were told and past every test and trap we layed out. Humans don't give a shit."
"Thank you?" One of the humans piped up.
"Damn, Goddess B. I'll start worshipping you," Another human flirts.
