okay i thought i was done talking about she/they lily evans but spoiler alert!!! i’m not.

anyways lily uses she/they but not because those pronouns are tied to her gender. they use those pronouns because those fit best with how they present. overall, she has no real attachment to gender. just that she’s not a guy. at all.

but she’s also not really a woman. she has shared experiences of being raised as a woman, with the periods and the catcalling and the expectations and everything else. but like, she was always detached from those. they never quite fit in with the other women. they never really felt included. something would always be missing.

lily would see a group of girls together and watch, longingly but also angrily in a sort of way. she never understood how they fit in together so easily. lily could never figure out how to make themself one of the girls.

and it didn’t help that she was also a muggleborn witch. that influenced a lot with her childhood friendships. (the same way i can never tell if my lack of fitting in with girls was due to my autism or gender)

anyways she still likes traditionally feminine clothing. and loves dresses and makeup and long hair. but also likes to wear a binder at home, when only close freinds are around.

anyways that’s how i see lily evans. it’s chill if y’all (respectfully) don’t agree. i’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts on lilys gender tho

!!!! Ok omg i know it has been a while but I’m literally in love with Lily sooo much so I had to curate all my fave hcs hehe !!!

So I’m obsessed with the hc that she secretly loves quidditch, but she never had time to like practice or play it so she never tried out for the gryffindor team and pretended she hated it

She alwayssss alwaysss bit her nails to the quick, not matter what she tried to do. Even when she had nail polish on it she would just bite her nails and eat the polish with it. (Is the nails to the quick thing a phrase? I hope so lol)

Trans Lily. I am a trans Lily truther. I will spread my agenda of trans Lily!!! 

She was obsessed with the language of flowers, and always wanted to make little mini bouquets with hidden meanings 

She used to hate being a wizard until she became friends with Mary in the second year, cause she know how Lily felt. 

While she did always get top marks in potions and other important stuff, she always always got bad grades in divination because she hated it so much. 

She was acc very good friends with Sybill, even if Sybill predicted her death…

Headcanon that Neria is a Acts of Service/Gifts person. Sure, she's VERY physically affectionate, she will talk you up, she will spend time with you, but most importantly she will do things for your muse, which does also involve bringing them all kinds of gifts she knows they want, showing them pretty things, telling them stories they'd want to hear. This is also a reference to me buying my team's love with gifts in the games because there was no way she'd be that close to some of them otherwise.

The moment you figure out that she's not just doing it mindlessly but she really cares about your happiness is the moment you realize just how often she thinks about you.

Meanwhile Lily's Act of Service would be murder so that's less heartwarming. But also shockingly physical touch. She sucks at words so she lets the fact that she's willing to touch you communicate for her.

Solona is Words of Affirmation because an an Eldritch Horror she doesn't have to fear the humiliation of people knowing how much she cares.

hmm personally, i think lily would wear a binder at times. hear me out! she’s extremely feminine, loves makeup, skirts, long hair, jewelry, etc. but some days, they just want the boobs to go away and thinks that some of their outfits look better with a binder on.
