my Etsy shop is live!!!

Neopronoun culture is having a set of "common" Neopronouns and wanting to get an enamel pin that has your pronouns... Except apparently they aren't common enough cause the only pins you can find are either super colorful and hurts to look at too long or a dark grey with yellow text that also hurts to look at (but for different reasons.)

Also not being out of the closet and wondering if it is even worth getting the pin cause only people you talk to one on one use your pronouns, but obviously not when talking directly with you.

Hello! You can call me Lyla or Angel, I also use a few other names, but those are my main names at the moment!

I'm a p-DID mixed origins system, with very complex functions and I'm still very much discovering new things about my own system; however, we have known we were a system for quite a long time.

Stances / Discourse

I am very radically inclusive (pro good faith) and have no strict DNI outside of NSFW accounts, basic dni (racists, homophobes, etc.), and radqueers. Other than that I do not really care what your stances on anything are; but I do block freely.

Here are some of my stances though, for those who want to know / so everyone knows if they're comfortable enough with following me. I am: pro-endogenic systems, pro-paraphile (anti-contact and pro-recovery), pro-mspec lesbians and mspec gays, anti-radqueer (transid, etc.), anti-harassment. Stuff I didn't list, I either do not have an opinion on, or keep my opinion on it private.

Time for a long overdue introduction!

I'm Canis/Canid (you can always just call me 'Sirenium' if that's easier!). I am a namehoarder, as well as namefluid, so I tend to prefer different names at different times (I will attempt to stick to a certain pair of names per theme) I'm 18, have ADHD, and am autistic. My pronouns are in my bio, but for the sake of convenience my current preferred ones are it/its, they/them, cor/corpse, haunt/haunts, and hallow/hallows (among others). I cannot keep a consistent theme for the life of me, lol. Despite my current theme, I am not wolf kin; I am werewolf kin, among other kins.

My interests include, but are (just barely) not limited to, the Sonic franchise (I now have a specific tag for sonic related content. Unless you give me a reason to block you, I see no reason to bar certain people from interacting with my posts (please note that if I go to your blog and am exposed to some dumbass take about mspec lesbians or something, that is typically grounds for a straight up block). Here, we believe that there's no such thing as an invalid queer identity, and this encompasses lesboys, m-spec lesbians, gaybians, and anything else that people hate for no reason. We are pro endo, believe that pronouns and presentation don't necessarily equal gender, anti capitalism (especially rainbow capitalism), pro-choice, pro self diagnosis, are of the opinion that PCOS can be an intersex condition (but honestly it's up to the individual to identify as such), queer isn't a slur (though I don't immediately jump to demonizing those who think it is, bc there are certainly older people who've had that word used against them in a derogatory way), xenogenders aren't transphobic, paraphile≠abuser, and more that I don't feel are necessary to state on this blog.

I don't look at peoples DNIs before interacting all the time (banners are right there so like, obviously I check those. I'm talking about DNIs in bios or pinned posts). Please, if I'm included in your DNI because of my beliefs and identity, block me and/or message me to remove anything I've reblogged from you if you need to. Hi! I have a question about neopronouns. I always try to respect someone's neopronouns, but sometimes they don't list all the neopronoun forms on their profile, and I can't contact them. Like, they might just have "ne" as their pronoun. That could be a lot of things, including but not limited to ne/ne/ne's, ne/nim/nis, ne/ner/ners, ne/nem/nir, etc. How do I avoid misgendering people in this situation? Thanks!

Best way is always to just ask, but in scenarios where you can't contact them, I'd default to the most common/popular version of the pronoun set.

I don't know of any other way to guess what their pronouns are and it's definitely not your fault for getting it wrong if you have no way of knowing their full pronouns.

This is why I think it's best to list the full version of your pronouns somewhere (like I have in the pinned post) so people don't run into this issue.

Especially when your pronouns have a lot of different popular variations like xe. (I've seen xe/xem, xe/xer, xe/xir, xe/xyr, etc and that's not even counting full set variations)

I know when you have multiple sets it can get lengthy to list them all in full but it's the best way to make sure you don't get misgendered (anymore than neo users already get misgendered-)
