Happy trans day of visibility to my non-binary siblings, to people with xenogenders, to multigender folx, to transneutral people, to non-binary people without dysphoria, to intersex trans folx, to closeted trans people, to gender non-conforming trans folx.
Happy trans day of visibility to everyone who so often gets forgotten or erased even in our own spaces. You belong, you matter, don't give up.

Not everyone who is a woman is a non-man, and not everyone who is a man is a non-woman. Some people's genders aren't non-anything. Sit on that and nurture it and let it hatch and grow up to be a healthy worldview love and peace on planet earth

You can change your name, it doesn't matter how often you change it, it doesn't matter however many names you go by, if you want to, you can change it, you could change it every week, every month, every year, it doesn't matter, you can change your name, don't feel bad about it

It's okay to want to be androgynous as a non-binary person
It's okay to like androgyny as a non-binary person
It's okay to owe yourself androgyny as a non-binary person
It's okay to transition to androgyny as a non-binary person
It's okay to be transandrogynous
It's okay to love mixing masculinity and femininity into androgyny as a non-binary person
It's okay for your enbiness to be androgynous
It's okay to love being androgynous as a non-binary person
It's okay to want to have a mixed hormonal profile as a non-binary person
It's okay to want salmactive bottom surgery procedures a non-binary person
It's okay to not be white, or assigned a certain gender at birth and want to be androgynous as a non-binary person
If anything it's beautiful. It's wonderful. It's awesome.
You are not doing the community a disservice. You are making waves, when the world tells you to look more binary, you are choosing to subvert that because that's what is right for you. In the slew of "you don't HAVE to be androgynous" (look different, stand out, be visibly nonbinary in society), you are not dragging the community down by wanting to be different to the status quo. You deserve representation, you deserve to feel safe, you deserve to feel love, both self love and any other love you desire in life. Your androgyny, your striving for it, your androgynous desire is important and should not be ignored. It should be celebrated as part of your enbiness, as part of you 💛🤍💜🖤

pride months coming up so a reminder not to forget about trans mascs who
-are left out of reproductive healthcare discussions and are ignored by cis men and women
-arent seen as men or non binary but rather seen as 'women lite'
-are also intersex (trans intersex people exist and are valid)
-are asexual and/or aromantic or are straight or bisexual
-havent gone through any surgeries and/or havent gone on hormones and/or havent socially transitioned
-have fully transitioned or dont want to transition
-have different transition timelines and/or have been on and off of hormones
-have a very complicated relationship with gender
-are also transfem and/or consider themselves multigender
-have to remind people that transmasc doesn't equal trans man
-feel invisible or forgotten or excluded from lgbt spaces

it's okay to be confused. it's okay to be questioning. it's okay to be unsure. it's okay to not know. it's okay to change your mind. it's okay to think something applies to you, and then find out it doesn't. it's okay to take time in learning yourself. it's not a race to the finish line- anyone who looks at you in a negative light because you needed time to figure yourself out doesn't matter. their feelings and thoughts don't matter. they're not you. they don't know what's going on inside your mind and heart.
take your time. learn yourself inside and out. enjoy the discovery process. allow yourself to feel joy even if you're not entirely sure you identify a certain way. allow yourself to feel pride even if you're still questioning, confused, or unsure. it's okay to not know yet. it's okay to be in the transitional state between unknowing and knowing. everything in life takes time- you don't have to rush yourself. anyone who tells you you "need" to figure it out right now because you're "wasting time" or contributing to something negative is projecting their feelings on to you, and they have nothing to do with you and how you truly feel.

So I've been working really hard to educate my former-Trumper father on all things LGBTQIA+ and it's been a bit of a struggle. He's pretty ignorant and has a LOT of biases but to his credit, since I expressed to him that I don't feel safe around him because of the things he believes and says, he's really been making an effort, right? So even though a lot of his questions are offensive, when I point out why they're offensive, he apologizes and tries to learn.
He also used to be in the US Army.
And yesterday, he called me up and he goes. "Okay so I have a question. If a Them is in the military, and they're a higher rank than me, what do I do? Because we call people Ma'am or Sir. And I just really don't know what to do!"
And it was the cutest fucking thing, because he sounded genuinely concerned.
And we started talking about how people who use they/them pronouns can have different gender identities and the best thing to do would be to ask the person what they prefer. But it was literally just the sweetest question, because he was genuinely thinking about it. I almost cried.
