Timbern AU Beauty and the Beast:

Before continuing I must say that the original idea of this cartoon belongs to @0rbis-art (Tumblr), Orbis.art (Facebook) and Orbis_Art (Twitter), I redraw it with a few modifications to adapt it to my Au, because his cartoon was super funny and it fitted curiously with my thoughts. But from then on, my au doesn't take anything else from his Beauty and the Beast Comic idea. (The original idea of Orbis-art had no dialogues)

So, if you're still interested in reading the AU, here it is:

Like, Well, I thought Tim was some kind of Duke of the Drake family, everything was fine, his parents had died but he was taken in by the royal family (Wayne) and after a few years he had returned to his family lands to do his duty with his people, when a Fae who visits their castle proposes (demands) marriage him. Tim says no, and the fae claims unlike him, no one else will want him no matter what he is, a claim Tim rejects. So he's obviously is cursed.

The curse turns him into a dragon-type beast and erases the memories of all the people who loved him (family and friends), intended to force him to find a person who loves him without knowing who he is in order to break his curse before he reaches the age of 23 years old (he was 15 when he was cursed), if he doesn't make it, he will completely turn into a dragon and the evil fairy will make him his pet. Obviously people are afraid of him and some try to hurt him, so he hides in his mansion, losing hope.

Bernard enters who is a normal guy from a nearby village who is super obsessed with magical creatures and monsters and dedicates himself to studying them even though people believe they are lies (not many people have contact with magic), he investigates all the rumors about creatures that can even though it has never amounted to anything. One night a terrified traveler comes to the tavern where he works, claiming that he was attacked by a lizard-like beast in the ruined mansion in the mountains and Bernard HAS to investigate.

He packs a small suitcase with travel things and goes to the mansion, where after investigating for a while, he meets Tim, who tries to intimidate him into leaving (he just wants Bernard to not trying to hurt him) but Bernard is fascinated (it's the first time he finds something of truth) and does not go away. No matter what Tim does, he don't let go.

Tim is dressed in rags because his dragon features grow out of control and rip all his clothes off and his hair is long and ripped because a nobleman doesn't have a damn idea how to cut his own hair or repair clothes. He has started referring to people as "humans" because he has started to feel like a monster as time goes by and he loses even more hope of being helped.

The fairy (yes, it's Ra's) sometimes sends servants with food and stuff for Tim, but he always turns them down because accepting their gifts would be accepting their courtship, and Tim wants nothing to do with the idiot who cursed him, so he has been living on what he can find in the woods.

In exchange for allowing Bernard to stay in his castle, he promises to help Tim break the curse (Tim can't tell him how). And well, that's where the adventure of these two would begin.

Originally this as supposed to be an EASY mission

Some unusual activity had been seen on the east side of Gotham in the fields, so naturally they’d go

This time, it had been Steph and Damian assigned to go while the others kept patrol

Barbara on the comns

All the areas had been divided

then, Barbara got the emergency signal that something had gone wrong

and we’ll it all went down hill from there

Tim and Dick got there first

Then Bruce and Cass

Finally, Duke and Jason arrived

They had no fkn clue who they were fighting, but they were fighting alright.

The people didn’t seem to be on offense, on the other hand, they were just either avoiding their strikes or blocking them

It didn’t make sense why they were fighting them or why Damian sounded the emergency line

The people had light blue skin and dark grey cloaks, they had dark blue lines on their arms and purple eyes.

It wasn’t until one of them got to touch Jason that all went black.

Images were displayed as if they were distant memories

Two girls giggling in a living room could be seen, one Eurasian girl and the other, a y/h/c, a latina.

One was seated on a couch eating ice cream while the other presented what it looks like to be a power point on why Dracula from Hotel Transylvania is actually a dilf. (Nola: blue| Yn: Pink)

“Ok ok, take me seriously”

“I CANT” she said wheezing and almost out of breathe with laughter

“I SWEAR I HAVE A POINT!”

- suddenly the memory changes-

the focus is not on the latina girl, she is walking down the street talking on the phone:

“Si mami lo sé, siiiii i know i know, i did iron my clothes for the meeting, and yes my hair is fine and yes you can tell abuelita that I did put some light makeup on for it, ‘sta bn mama, te amo! Adiós, bendición”

She was dressed in some business casual clothes that really suited her as she finished her call and got into a building

it changes once again, to the same girl with the other one from the first memory waking down the a busy street, this one not being in gotham

“Paris, what a beautiful city!”

“Ik! Capitalism really popped off today with this funded trip from Gotham U! You think Bruce Wayne was behind this?”

“probably, after all, we both are the Wayne Enterprise scholarship winners and as long as we don’t have to pay, I’m good!”

“Amen to that!”

the memory changes to a final one

they are found in a Wayne Charity gala

Both girls are dressed up to the max, the Eurasian girl with a red dress while the Latina girl with a black one.

Both are in a corner with flash cards in their hands

“Feeling nervous?”

“As nervous as I can be seeing as we have to present in front of a bunch of rich old people”

“It’s a requirement from the scholarship, we have to thank Bruce Wayne for his generosity 🙄”

“I just thought it would be easier but now i’m feeling kinda sick”

“it’ll be alright, we’ll go to batburger after and marathon GOT once we are done”

“You know that because of this we HAVE to be of attendance to these things at least once a year to showcase how wELL tHe WayNe sChOlArs dO”

both girls burst out laughing and keep the conversation going

images of the y/h/c girl pass quickly, of trips, childhood pictures, random pictures until it all fades to black

when their eyesight finally focuses, all of the batfam members are found on the floor sitting down with the weird people staring at them

“WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?” screamed Damian, furious that they got the upper hand

He is the only one to sharpen his senses the fastest aside from Bruce

the rest were slightly in a daze and when everyone finally cleared up, they were able to notice that the strange people were pointing at Jason

They tensed up

“Relax friends. We come with news and no harm” said they but that didn’t ease their worry

“The girl-“ their attention was caught seeing as they were all wondering who she was

“she is important to him”

Now Jason was confused, he didn’t fkn know this girl

“You know her, Hood?” asked Bruce

“No”

with that, their confusion worsened and their defenses rose

“she’s not a person of his now, if not a person of tomorrow. She will be the light to his darkness, the ying to his yang, the one to soothe your mind, Jason Todd”

aaaaand they were on high alert again

WHO. THE FUCK. WHERE. THEY!?!?

“she is the soul that had been paired with yours, your match. This meeting had been predestined long ago to happen. Search for her, and everything you’re looking for will be found”

“Let me get this straight!” Tim interrupted “the girl, is HIS soulmate?”

The people nodded in agreement (which was weird bc they were strangely coordinated)

“she will bring much joy, to not only him, but to all of you as well, she is important” one spoke and with those words they all banished

“Ok, raise your hand if you are confused as fuck” said Steph and everyone except Bruce and Jason raised their hands

“We quite literally just met his soulmate! How do you feel Jase?” asked Dick

Jason was in shock

He had a soulmate?

Seeing as Jason had not answered, Bruce placed a hand on his shoulder, squeezed it in a reassuring way as instructed that patrol had been done for the night.

Once in the cave, everyone had showered and changed yet no one wanted to sleep. They were all curious so the set to find who this mystery girl was.

With a house full of detectives with access to anything in the internet (and the Wayne archives) they were able to find her in less that an hour

True enough she was a Wayne Scholar and has been going to the galas for years now with her friend

How did they not noticed?

Were they too involved in their own complaining and planning of getting out that they never got to see her

It was easy to find her socials, and even if it was a little stakish, they all followed her

Now the questing of when and how they’ll actually meet her began

Luckily Alfred came downstairs to remind them thy it was enough and they should eat something and go to sleep, when he provided an answer

the spring gala was coming up, and she was e invited.

so for now, they would just see how she was through her socials.

Whew, It’s late as fuck and I’m tired as hell but I’m still gonna write this Jon and Damian shipping post because I’m tired of people not getting it like at all.

Firstly, I’m mentioning all of this as in before the age up because before the age up is where they had a dynamic. Right now, they are just friends who know each other.

Before the age up - Jon was established as ten in Super Sons and Damian was thirteen.

Let’s talk about that first; Jon was just created - Jon did not exist for that long since he was conceived in Thomas Wayne’s Batcave. He has barely any writing under his belt.

Their dynamic is not “Oh, Damian is the mature one who knows everything and Jon is stupid and is to be taught everything-“ No. Damian is NOT as mature as everyone makes him out to be and people only take his maturity away to make him an “Uwu adorkable cat boy-“ which is frankly annoying.

Any of these fan depictions are fine in purely fanon contexts where for fan reasons they want to mold the characters in different ways because that’s the fun of it but I’m talking entirely in a canon sense.

Anyway, Damian is someone who’s established himself as a hero, he’s come into himself and he has associates and a path he’s paving for himself. He’s supposedly to be someone that teaches Jon how to do that, he’s supposed to be someone that grows alongside Damian and with Damian and in turn Jon is supposed to be someone who teaches Damian how to be a kid.

Damian teaches Jon to be a hero - Jon teaches Damian how to be a kid.

Jon is not an idiot, he has the obvious limitations due to his age but besides that, he’s not the immature one, he’s not the sunshine one, he’s not the devoted one, he’s none of these things.

I’m so tired of these characters being watered down like this.

Jon is emotional, he’s headstrong, he’s articulate and has a level head.

If Damian is as mature as people make him out to be THEY WOULDN’T HAVE BUMPED HEADS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Jon and Damian didn’t meet and were like oh, friends at first glance. NO, THEY HATED EACH OTHER.

More so because Jon wanted to be Damian’s friend and Damian didn’t understand how friends were supposed to work till Jon coupled with the fact that they are both kids and extremely immature.

I have never in any fandom seen people put so much emphasis on an age gap before this one. I’ve seen fandoms enjoy age gaps - if you read any sort of romantic material then you’d know that an age gap will supply a certain dynamic between two characters, it can be an extra set of maturity but that isn’t really the case here.

Their age gap is just barely big enough.

Their AGE GAP IS ENTIRELY NESSACERY to their relationship with each other. It doesn’t supply much besides an opening opportunity later in the comics to make Jon feel like he needs to chase after Damian when it comes to being a hero which we will never get to see.

Jon doesn’t have friends outside of Damian besides Kathy, no because he just was established as a character.

I would also like to add that Jon doesn’t have an established birthday, I still don’t recall that he does to this day. It could be a lot smaller than we think it is and it probably is. Although, I’ve seen people call two-year age gaps weird as well which I really don’t understand because I personally have never heard that in my entire life.

Rather or not an age gap is inappropriate really differs from person to person - if you ask one person what is wrong will differ entirely from what another person thinks. It will also span from culture to culture and region to region. It’s never really been a tangible thing - I mean, ask your parents it's likely they are much more than three or four years older than the other.

Anyway, whether or not someone is being taken advantage of in a romantic relationship doesn’t hinge entirely on the age gap between them anyway but that’s another conversation.

My next point is, that no one, I mean no one should critically consider these two characters engaging in a romantic relationship while they are young - with the way that they are I sincerely doubt that they would be able to hold a romantic relationship to the other.

They would have to find each other again when they are older, and that is what literally every shipper I’ve interacted with ever has told me.

Jon and Damian may get drawn in shippy art while they are young now but it’s entirely innocent (depending on what you think is innocent again) I do indeed indulge in reblogging this art because I think it’s cute personally and harmless but it’s just art. It’s also where their relationship peaked and where Jon was actually interesting so obviously people would rather draw that instead.

Shipping these two does not inherently mean that you don’t read comics and aging up characters is not inherently problematic - which I’ve heard as well…

If I didn’t read comics then how would I know that these characters have always been aged up repeatedly through depictions?

Dceased - which they share no age gap. Here they are the same age.

Wonder Woman - where they are in their 20s and up.

And Super Sons in the first place where they are literally in their 80s.

Or the movie where they’re the same age.

Mind you, Jon is sometimes written to be eleven when Damian is either thirteen or fourteen but double mind you, Damian and Jon have not known each other for a full 365 days before the age up. They are best friends but by default because neither of them has a lot of other friends.

We are not getting into how wonky ages are for Robins since Tim Drake and how writers sometimes refuse to allow characters to age…

Ugh, none of this even matters anyway because most people don’t and shouldn’t ship under the ideation that two characters should be canon anyway, I don’t personally because DC can’t even handle Damian and Jon being friends - their is no WAY they could handle a romantic relationship.

I get that we may have bad experiences with people who ship this ship like people who demonize Flatline and are idiots in general… like twitter damijon stans as well as antis are literally the most heinous people I’ve seen interact.

For example, RedeemedRobin is a psycho that doesn’t care about anyone or anything that isn’t Damijon…

But Damijon isn’t like comprised of adults who want to prey on young characters, no, I actually struggle to have a genuine conversation with someone who likes Damijon because they are mostly kids who don’t UNDERSTAND HOW THE SHIP WORKS and are super cringe which is literally the reason I’m making this post anyway. It’s so, so annoying not being able to have a genuine conversation about these characters with other shippers. I don’t know why people like to throw around ideas of how shipping spaces are WHEN THEY ARE NOT IN THOSE SPACES THEMSELVES?

Besides, comics are old and if you are an adult who enjoys damijon then it’s probably because you grew up with the characters if that’s not obvious enough I mean these comics are like almost seven years old?

Anyway, in conclusion, stop watering down these characters, stop demonizing the ship and shippers, and just stop being an idiot on the internet in general like it really shouldn’t be that hard to use your brain.

If you opened your brain half as much as you opened your mouth than we could both be much happier…

She is Vecna's first horseman of the apocalypse but when the party defeats him at the end of Season 4, she’s returned to normal. She goes about her life as a cheerleader but moves in with Eddie and Wayne and becomes a core part of the group. Her, Eddie, Nancy, Robin, and Steve become besties.

Chrissy's own TV Show: This would essentially be Stranger Things but from her perspective. There's also one season that's entirely flashbacks to Vecna from her perspective and being in the UD with her Vecna peeps. The main plot points would be:

-Fallout from being Vecna'd (bullying, PTSD, revoking her "it girl" status)

-Found family with Eddie and Wayne (and the rest of the party)

-Her parents trying to get her back after she moves in with Eddie and Wayne

-Her helping the party with any lingering supernatural happenings in Hawkins.

-Chrissy healing from all the shit she's gone through and finding light and happiness.

(There's also a subplot about Chrissy being really good at science and kind of a nerd about it too and when they inevitably bring Mr. Clark back, the two of them become odd besties. He remembers her as one of his best students. He ends up becoming someone she can go to for help and advice outside of her circle of friends.)

Chrissy's Animated TV Show: I immediately went to a Winx Club/Sabrina the Teenage Witch style show about her middle school years! It would be animated and geared toward younger kids so the subject matter is super light. Fashion, cheerleading for the sake of cheerleading, sleepovers, magazines, lip gloss, and her chance encounter with Eddie at the talent show.

Spin-off #1: The Adventures of Baby Chrissy. Chrissy as a baby (a la Baby Looney Tunes and Rugrats) and all the shenanigans she gets into. Featuring cameos by baby Eddie, baby Steve, baby Nancy, and baby Robin). cutecutecute.

Spin-off #2: Chrissy's Big Scare. (Post-Vecna). This would be a mini-series, kind of like the ones that come on during commercial breaks. In it, Chrissy tries to watch a different scary movie every week as a sort of aversion therapy to help her cope with being Vecna'd. She does it when Eddie and Wayne are gone because she wants to be able to be brave without them there to comfort her. It would just be her reactions to everything: laughing at cheesy dialogue, spilling popcorn when she gets jump scared, hiding under the blanket, getting invested into the plot, (and yes, calling Eddie if it gets too scary).

Spin-off #3: Chrissy's Haunted Cheer Camp. (Pre-Vecna). Chrissy and her friends go to a yearly cheer camp but (surprise, surprise) it's haunted. Every summer is one season and every summer, something crazy scary happens. Personal items keep disappearing, things that go bump in the night, one of the girls gets possessed. The last season features the craziest story (and it occurs the summer before Will gets taken).

One of their counselors even goes missing for the majority of the summer but she's not as conventionally "pretty" as the rest of them so no one cares except Chrissy. She Nancy Drew's her way into some answers and they end up finding the girl at the end of the summer. And here's the chilling part: she walks out of the lake with no memory of what happened.

Movie: Chrissy Around the World. The summer before senior year, Chrissy was supposed to go to church camp but she was feeling extra rebellious and used her dad's credit card to go on a worldwide vacation. Paris, African Safari, everywhere. (Think Megan in the "Drake and Josh" movie or Kevin in "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York"). She ends her vacation in New York and falls in love with it and decides that's where she wants to move when she moves out of Hawkins the following year. It features a very satisfying 2000s-esque shopping spree, hotel trashing, and a cameo by taylor swift (ask me if i give a fuck about continuity).

Cheer For Your Life - complete the cheer routine or else Vecna gets you.

Chrissy’s Closet - Get Chrissy dressed for different events before the timer runs out (pep rally, date with Eddie, etc)

Chrissy Cunningham Upside Down - a scary quarry type game where Chrissy navigates getting out of the upside down. She has to hunt down objects that will help her ("Uptown Girl" cassette, her pom-poms, picture of her brother, etc.) and you don’t know who’s friend or foe so you have to fight some of your friends if they've been Vecna'd.

Chrissy Wake Up - (guitar hero basically) hit all the notes of "Master of Puppets" to wake Chrissy Up.

Surfer Girl Pizza - Chrissy helps Argyle with a huge order of pizzas (pizza making game)

The Hideout - (scavenger hunt/quest game) help Corroded Coffin get ready for their show at the hideout by locating eddie’s guitar, fixing gareth’s drumsticks and helping the boys find their lucky pins etc. 

Bad Girl - help Chrissy sneak out to meet Eddie without waking up her parents or brother.
