Catwoman thinking she’s putting Batman on a chase but she gets tripped up by the new batgirl who doesn’t know her father’s dating history because he didn’t tell her nor did she ask and Catwoman doesn’t know that there’s a new batgirl as Barbra had changed to Oracle, Stephanie turned to Spoiler, and Cassandra was very briefly Batgirl and is currently Black Bat. Batman also didn’t inform her that the daughter he lost, he found her.

Posting some more art, these dealing with the other half of the superhero game, some villainous proteges! When the kids aren't helping Batman fight the bigger villains, they deal with the younger minions!

Duela Dent, Joker's Daughter, has a very confusing history despite the fact that she barely appears in any comics. And the few that she does appear in, she keeps changing looks and personality. I wondered if I should split her between her per-crisis and post-crisis self( her post would have elements of new52). It would be one way to deal with her. She's something of an antagonist to the batkids, tho its more light-hearted fun than any actual maliciousness from her. She's kind of the leader of this little gang.

Enigma, sidekick to the Riddler also has very few comic appearances. I thought she would make a fantastic enemy to tiny vigilantes, being a tiny villain herself. She's much more vicious than Duela, tho Duela keeps her in line a bit.

As for the Scarecrow 'distaff counterpart', she's spun from the Batman Family comic, where Duela was running around as all the villain's daughters. So I got the idea to actually make a 'scarecrow's daughter' oc, her name could be something like scaregirl or something. She's quite the creepy girl huh? OC's are pretty fun to make!

There's also Kitrina Falcone, Catgirl. Catwoman has been shown to mentored girls here and there but there's only been one catgirl to my knowledge. I thought her design looked interesting and obviously wanted to make a younger version for my au. I think she should be around Tim's age maybe? She's very playful and kinda selfish, like her mentor but not too malicious. The batkids mostly just find her a bit annoying (she keeps stealing random stuff off them).

Finally theres Cleo Cazo, daughter of the Ratcatcher. I just call her Ratgirl tbh. While I have read the comics for Ratcatcher, I have not watched the movie Cleo appears in (barring some youtube clips of her). So her history is more in line with the comics, considering her father has been in jail for years, she probably lives with her mother or other family. She's mostly harmless, and doesn't really have interest in fighting the heroes, she just wants to play with her rat friends and sleep. She seems to have some sort of narcolepsy disorder.

This time, she was stealing.. fertilizer? And she brought a friend too.

“I know I know. Distract with the girl while u go and flirt with Catwoman blah blah blah.” “i do not- you know what, just do it.” (We all know you on her bad brucey bruce, it’s ok🙂).

While Batman went to go stop Catwoman’s shitty plan (pun intended🤭) Dick had to go stop Catgirl. Of course he got stuck doing the easy job! So fun. Catwoman and Batman were having a full on cat chase (I’m full of puns today🤭) and he to distract some new chick on the block.Except, maybe it wasn’t as easy as he thought.

IN THE WAREHOUSE (still full of shit)

Dick’s POV:

So I walk in right? No, I kick the fucking door down, trying to do you know a cool entrance. Just for no one to be seen. “Come out kitty kitty kitty.” I looked around for a good 3 minutes, then just as I was about to tell Batman no one was there I felt a breath on my neck. “Boo.” I gasped and almost fell over. Where tf did she come from?

“I’ve heard a lot about you Boy Wonder. Let me guess, while Batman goes and chase around Catwoman, you got sent to distract me from loading more fertilizer into the truck?” Damn I didn’t know it was that obvious ☹️. “Uh, no?” It came out more like a question than a answer. “Sure..” She said. “So, you gonna try and turn me in or what?” She said circling me. “Um, that is kinda my job. So if you wouldn’t mind.” I tried to grab her arms and hold her but she quickly turned to the side and kicked me in my stomach. Uhmmm, ouchhh?

“First thing you need to know about me, I’m nothing like Catwoman. I’m not into the long game. Number two, what made you think it would be that easy in the first place?” She said as I was taken aback by her swiftness. “Well Catgirl, I apologize for underestimating you. Friends.” I said walking closer and putting my hand out. She scoffed, but eventually shook my hand with a fake smile on her face.

I them twisted her hand behind her back, taking the other in my grasp. “Fuck you.” She said, I chuckled at her statement. “Just doing me job. You shouldn’t be trying to fall into a life of crime with Catwoman anyway.” “Is this the part where you try and convince me to “Do better!” and “to make better choices!”Robin?” She says in this weird type of voice. I don’t know why but it catches me off guard and she slips away, try’s to kick me again but I catch her foot. “Nice try, but this is not gonna take long. We’re in a huge warehouse, in the middle of the mountains full of shit. I don’t wanna be here as much as you don’t.”

She flips off my hand and lands on her feet swiftly. “Well i don’t wanna be here more. She said if I don’t go she’ll take my door off of the hinges and that I can’t do anymore jobs with her for a week. You think I wanna be here in the cold, in a place full of horse dookie?” I snort at the word dookie. She’s funny. I take a minute to take in her features. She has longer hair than Catwoman, in a ponytail coming out her suit. Beautiful really, and perfect y/e/c eyes.  “Take a picture, it’ll last longer.” She says, I snap out of my staring and I can feel heat creeping up my neck. How embarrassing.. 

*cue fight scene where he ends up catching you outside the warehouse and they are both out of breath*

“Fina-fucking-lly, you know for Batman’s sidekick you’re really bad at shutting up and just catching ppl.” She says, damn that kinda hurt. “Says the one whose hands are literally roped together?” “Touché.” She says smirking and winking at me. I feel my stomach flutter a little. Just as I’m about to say something, Batman shows up behind me, Catwoman nowhere to be found. “Good work Robin, now let’s get her somewhere safe.” I take her hand and walk towards the batmobile with Batman. As we approach it, I turn around and she’s nowhere to be found anymore.. whatttt😱.

Okay okay.. so I might have let go of her hand on while she untied the knot without noticing.. but can you blame me?? I could barely feel my hands in the first place in this weather, let alone hers?? When we notice, both catwoman, Catgirl and the truck are gone. Let’s just say Batman was not happy on the ride home..

When we got back, he sent me to my room. Whispering how I should’ve noticed to himself, as if I don’t already feel bad. First, it’s freezing. Second, I get stuck in a warehouse full of shit fighting off some catwoman sidekick, then the minute he actually says I did a good job she gets away. As if Catwoman didn’t get away either?? “Would you like some hot chocolate Master Dick?” Alfred says, peeking through my room door. “No thank you Alfred, I’m off to bed.”

I came across the AU idea that Dick Grayson is Richard Parker, and thus, Peter Parker's biological father. There are a few fics where Peter dimension travels to the DC universe and gets to meet his dead father. It is a fun idea, but I have different one.

AU where Peter dimension travels to the DC universe, and the batfam realizes that he is Dick's son, but rather than think he is from another universe, they all come to the conclusion that he is from the future.

It makes sense, after all, the rules of time travel basically boil down to 'don't change anything.' So when Peter is avoiding them and "pretending" not to know them, they just think he is following the rules. (He isn't even really avoiding them, he just has no idea who they are.)

You know how once you have an idea in your head, it take a lot of convince you that your wrong? Same idea here, they are so convinced of their idea that all new info ends up making them surer. Confirmation bias.

So Peter is trying to find a way home while the batfam tries to subtly help him without getting involved in time travel. Hijinks ensue.

Peter once mentions his love of photography and how he used to take pictures of heroes for a newspaper. Everyone looks at Tim and thinks, 'Gee I wonder where he picked up that hobby.'

At one point Peter pulls an assassin move, and Damian is like, 'I taught him that for sure.' (In reality Peter just trained with Natasha and Bucky before.)

When dealing with some issue Peter says something like, "I know a guy with some green angry problems and he taught me a lot about staying calm when mad." Everyone looks at Jason??? (He just picked up some meditation advice from Bruce Banner)

At some point he goes to the manor and everyone is like, 'Hah! More proof! He knows his way around the building!' He doesn't know his way around, his spider sense just lead him to where people are and kept him from getting lost.

He mentions Black Cat once, and everyone comes to the "totally logical" conclusion that Catwoman had a daughter, and that Peter and Felicia also have a weird almost dating thing going on.

Peter has been forced to go to some fancy events with Tony before so he knows how to act at rich people galas, which of course just adds fuel to the time travel theory.

Peter keeps accidentally referencing things that don't exist/didn't happen. Everyone just assumes these things didn't happen/don't exist yet.
