♡Devalued Person♡
✧A Devalued Person (Devp), otherwise known as a “lowlife”, is a term for those with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) to describe those that are on this level. This is the rung on the ladder of a person with NPD (pwNPD)’s 'ranking system' (explained below) that is below average. While devaluing people will bump them down the rankings, it’s possible to go even further past the average into this category. The pwNPD considers this person to be severely beneath them and everyone else for one reason or another,✧
✧Within NPD there is a mental “Ranking System” in comparison to the pwNPD. This can also occur naturally, if not chosen by the pwNPD themself. This ranking system is by no means the only kind, but it sets a good example.✧
✧Chosen Person (Chp): Someone of higher status than the pwNPD✧
✧Equal Person (Ep): Someone of equal Status to the pwNPD.✧
✧Respected person (RP) : Someone the pwNPD respects✧
✧Worthy Person (Wp): Someone worthy to be a Chp or an Ep but not there yet.✧
✧Adequate Person (Adp): Above average.✧
✧Average Person (Avep): The average human being.✧
✧Lowlife/Devalued Person (Devp): Described Above✧
✧Unranked Person (Unrp): Someone who isn't part of their hierarchy system.✧
For a full list of Special Person terms, I made this doc for a comprehensible list. If you'd like to use my PD flags as emojis, I made this discord server with them as heart emojis! (Originally made to react to my SPs messages)
DISCLAIMER: All of these terms already have existed in the community before I posted them. If you have genuine questions or concerns, feel free to reach out and I will try to work with you! These terms are meant to be inclusive of ALL experiences I have heard of or experienced myself, so I have no issue adding things if necessary. These posts are meant to be short and sweet descriptions, not full deep delves on what each means! Feel free to make your own deep dives posts about your own experiences with these and @ me, I’ll definitely repost as long as they’re done in a respectful manner.

Weird thing about me is that I don’t immediately think of others as less than (unless there are specific circumstances) and if I choose to interact with someone I assume that they are “on my level” in one way or another like intelligence or overall morals and stuff like that. But when they fail to meet those expectations I feel almost betrayed and like “oh you’re not special or interesting ew what” and it completely changes the way I see them. I had this one science project with someone I liked a bit and figured she seemed pretty cool but I spent so long explaining my idea over and over again and it became clear that I was the smarter one between us and I couldn’t reconcile it and felt that she had deceived me in a way and I couldn’t see her the same way after that.

Am I sometimes attracted to people romantically or am I just histrionic?
Do I like them romantically or am I just splitting/excited by a new person?
Do I want to be *with* them or do I just want to be them?

People who lack whole object relations also lack object constancy. Object constancy is the ability to maintain your positive feelings for someone while you are feeling hurt, angry, frustrated, or disappointed with their behavior. Without object constancy, every fight becomes a potential breakup.

For those of you who don't know, getting someone to split white is essentially manipulating that pattern of black and white thinking that often comes with BPD and NPD to make the pw/pd obsessed with you. Nobody who does this actually cares about making that person feel better. They don't care about easing the split. They only care that they're on the pw/pd's good side, and that's a very telling aspect of them.
Trying to get a borderline or a narcissist to "split white" for you is fucking disgusting and the amount of times I've seen people advising others on how to do it or people asking for tips regarding that topic is infuriating. We are not here for you to manipulate. It is not okay for you to manipulate us for your own gain. You wouldn't do it to a neurotypical, so stop fucking treating us like we're some toy for you to mess around with.
DNI: Narcissistic/Borderline/Anti-social/Histrionic abuse believers, fakeclaimers, pro ana/thinspo/meanspo + blogs that are predominantly about eating disorders (excluding recovery blogs).

They went through a period where in the middle of a disagreement, Jon would say: Let’s press pause. I need to get out my list. This eventually became a private joke between them. Sometimes Nina would say: I think we need the list now, and they would stop and laugh. Nina made her own list of Jon’s good points and during a fight, she found that reading him what she liked about him was an effective way to remind him of her love for him. After Nina started reading her list to him during fights, Jon realized that hearing her list worked as well as reading his list. He started noticing when he felt insecure or hurt by her and, instead of automatically withdrawing emotionally, he now felt comfortable enough to tell her: I think I would like to hear your list again.

I got pissed that she didn’t let me get her off, but lied that I got her off and then jerked herself off and came for real instead and now I’m contemplating breaking up with her lol. I don’t even feel attracted to her anymore. At least I know what this is called.
Am I falling in love with her?
