Danny got comfortable on the roof, leaning froward with anticipation.
A silent thump and a person slid next to him, Danny barely gave the red head a glance.
"Any reasons to be on the roof at night?"
He shushes the vigilante, eyes not leaving the spot. It has Roy crouching next to him, watching as well.
Out of nowhere, a vampire looking fella flew around wildly, not far behind a ginger woman on a hoverboard, flying after him.
The Lady is shooting lasers with deathly accuracy, the man (?) dodging barely. It had Arsenal hum at the show.
"That's my mom." Danny points at the lady. "The guy she's hunting keeps harassing me so she took matters into her own hands."
Cheshire Cat lands not far away from the two, head tilted with a silent question that had Roy nodding and she is leaping away to the next roof once more.
"Why not call the authorities?" He asks, appearing less tense and more friendly to the teen.
The kid whistles sharp with a grin before answering.
"Tried, unfortunately, he's super rich with influence and connection. So here we are." He shrugs.
While they watch the chaos a bit longer, Roy ignores the insisting buzzing from his comm, Cheshire Cat probably alarmed Oliver by now.
He looks up when Danny stands, stretching.
"What was your name again?" He quirks his brow with a smile.
"I don't remember telling you."
Roy rolls his eyes, joining the teen to his feet. "So?"
"Danny."
He steps off the roof before Roy can react, a shout building up, until he sees the kid sitting on the hoverboard of his mother, her hand ruffling his hair.
"See ya, Arsenal."
They're long gone when Arsenal huffs, laughing.
"Until next time, Danny."

Omg like I had this dream about it yesterday. So what if batfam decided nope we're gonna ghost proof this house. And in the way they did it, they didn't use blood blossoms, ectoranium etc (blood blossoms are extinct and hard to find in large quantities and ectoranium is a space metal that nobody knows exist yet or confused with kryptonite) They used magic, so it's little less noticable.
And Tim decides to Invite his new friend over, aka Danny Fenton . Said friend refuses to touch anything while there. He wouldn't sit, eat food, or touch any of the occupants. And when he finally accidentally touches something, the spell works and he is captured with glowing chains or straight up thrown back into the infinite realms.
Danny finally has time for normal teenager shit. He managed slowly go through the bureaucratic shithole that is the infinite realms politics and he managed to come out with his sanity intact. Phantom is no longer a menace but a hero that tragically gave himself up to seal all of the Infinite realms (that is kinda true he did go through a nightmare to make sure ghosts didn't attack the living world and had to do the equivalent of centuries worth of paperwork to do that.)
And all things considered ghosts are a thing of the past for most people. ( He hopes that the ones he allows through keep their oaths and stay hidden)
And he can finally be a normal teenager again, albeit in Gotham of all places. But the death in the city masks his more inhuman traits and he really didn't wanna go through another paper work stuff to register himself as a meta without the meta gene, he would have to do that later though.
But he can do that later, he's on a vacation and he's not doing that.
-_-_-_-
He is standing in the doorway. People around him are getting their umbrellas and sadly he doesn't have one. He was debating internally if he should just go or go back to the lost and found for an umbrella.
He was waiting for Tim as he agreed to come for dinner. The car ride to the Wayne manor was calm, filled with few words.
All changed when he came to find the whole manor was covered in intricate magical circles and traps. He saw atleast few that straight up sent him to the dark parts of the realms and he didn't want to touch that. And as much as he wanted to straight up escape, Tim had been asking for multiple days.
So as much as he wanted to flee, his social skills are shit and he didn't want to risk the awkwardness afterwards.
So he tried his best. Didn't touch the ground floated slightly above it, didn't touch the furnitures cuz apparently it was considered part of the house, couldn't touch the walls. Couldn't even touch the residents before setting the alarms off.
He thinks he pulled it off. Of course he pulled it off everything was going smoothly and he just has to make sure he has everyone in the room in his sights and float a bit. Well until the actual dinner. He couldn't touch the food and he looked quite akward so much so Tim whispers to him.
"You okay? You aren't touching your food."
"Oh I'm okay, it's just-" before he could even start with his sorrowful excuses, someone someone grabs his arm, again it wouldn't have been a problem too it would only raise the alarm, until he is pushed down into the chair thus triggering multiple traps .
Big golden chains appear and he is arleady out of the chair by then. He opens a window and turns to say sorry but he accidentally trips over another trap and is pulled into the realms. He should probably cross Tim out of his list of friends.
-_-_-_-
Tim's friend just fell through a portal, should probably call Constantine about that.
Dick was the first one to speak up after the silence that incued.
"Did we just banish Tim's new friend to the shadow realm?"
"Wait why did he trigger the alarm? He didn't seem all that ghostly, was he like Jason"
"Probably. We probably won't see him again, do we just. . . Push the blame onto Constantine?"
" We are heroes-"
"And how the heck are we supposed to enter the realms anyway? And escape! Constantine greatly expressed that portal was one way only"
*Tommorow*
They see Danny just waltzing through Gotham and they pull him aside.
"What the fuck. You got pulled into the shadow realm yesterday! How do you even trigger the alarms"
Danny who arleady went through the five stages of denial and how tf am I gonna explain "oh you see i am a warlock of....uhhhh
I didn't think this far
OH PHANTOM. THE GREAT PHANTOM"
And after a very stressful meeting with batman and the entire JL dark members cuz apparently his alter ego became a big deal without his agreement.
Where he
Had to speed learn how to create duplicates
Had to fight off a few ghost lawyers cuz they wanted to be a part of "the very important meeting of importance"
Got asked to do magic (he's still learning okay?)
He panicked tried to sell one of his powers as a spell or him just having the copy of his patrons power.
More people got worried about him supposedly creating a contract with a very powerful new unknown diety
Got into the JL dark as a warlock
People apparently trusts him now???? As FENTON??????
Apperantly showing off weaker version of patrons power was a bad idea cuz he greatly overestimated the power limit.
He is a powerful warlock of a powerful "demon"?
WHAT THE FUCK DO U MEAN I- MY PATRON IS NOT A DEMON
"so what is he"
Uhhhhhh a guardian spirit?
Uunhuun soo it's phantom right.?? Leme do some research
WHAT DO U MEAN PHANTOM IS APPARENTLY A GOD AND IS KNOWN GLOBALY FOR BEING THE GOD OF HEROES??
Wait . . . . Clockwork. Oh my god.
Now he is the number one call up magic person for the bats now.

Drake's family secret #2
Previous Part
Tim was prepared, he had done as much research / digging as he could squeeze in between meetings, even going so far as rescheduling some of them to get more time until the tour guide would lead the high school students to his office.
Some things he had found were worrying even to the point of wanting to just take Danny and move him permanently to Gotham. Even if he knew that Gotham wasn't the safest city either. He had seen the other boy's interest in the aerospace department through the cameras, but with his digging he had found that Danny had been on a fast track for a Junior Space Program with the grades to support it.
Diggin that information up had made Tim proud, thinking that if there was something good about the Drake family it was that both Danny and him appear to have a very good set of brain cells. Though that proud feeling didn't last long when he dug further.
Because then an accident happened to him, leaving him with his last medical record stating a heart condition. After that there were no more dated medical records. In addition the timing of the accident lined up with when Danny's grades pummeled. He went from a A student to a C student in the month following the accident. Not only that but it also appeared that he racked up quite the number of teacher complaints to which he then got labeled as a delinquent student in his files.
Tim had narrowed his eyes at the screen as he lined up the timeline, with some additional information he had found about Amity Park. That information had not been easy to dig up, he had rescheduled at least two meetings so he could work uninterrupted on the strange firewalls that were protecting it, and even then he only got a handful of newspaper clips out of it. But that had been enough, for now.
Because Danny Fenton's accident and declining grades lined up with the appearance of a ghost menace hero Invis-o-Bill. A coincidence? Definitely not. Looked like hero-ing wasn't just a Wayne family thing.
Either way Tim had dug up a lot in a short amount of time about his possible brother. He was still missing a lot of puzzle pieces but he figured he could probably get that information once he made a successful first contact with Danny.
Which was about to happen in a little more than 5 minutes.
His eyes flicked to the door, then to the live security camera feet on his laptop. Yep they were right outside his door. Taking a deep breath and closing his laptop Tim moved to lean on his desk from the front, facing the door.
His plan was easy. give the kids a little motivational speech, spout some inspiring nonsense of 'you too can achieve great things' before dismissing cheerfully but hold Danny back, because his last name was Fenton and Tim 'recognised' it from a list of potential scientist to investment. Have a successful talk and show some interest in the - weird he actually didn't want to touch on but probably will have to consider because Danny had an accident that gave him meta powers that made him decide to go out as meta hero - stuff Danny's foster parents were researching. Ruffle his hair and subtitle pluck one of his hairs in that motion.
For a first DNA test that would be enough. Even if blood or spit would definitely be better, since he had no guarantee to also get the hair root if he just plucked one.
When the knock on his door resounded he cheerfully told them to come in and started phase one of his grand first contact plan. If anyone asked him what he told the students afterwards, he probably wouldn't be able to recount anything he told them as 'motivational speech'. He did his best though to not let his eyes constantly wander over towards the boy.
He took a little satisfaction in the fact that one of the two close friends his possible brother had appeared to be starry eyed at the fact that they got to meet him. That definitely would come in handy later on.
When some of the students started to look rather bored with their attention wandering, Tim thought that this was probably the best timing to enter phase two. Dismissing them with some scripted farewell words, he waited a little. As he expected Danny and his two friends lacked behind when the students left his office.
He cleared his throat, catching their attention. "Mr. Fenton?"
Danny looked at him wide eyed as he turned around to stare at him and Tim internally laughed. "Your parents are on our list of Scientists for possible investment. If you have the time, would it be possible to have a little chat right now?"
He noted how Danny exchanged a look with his friends and the girl among them instantly started to glare at him suspiciously as Danny's seemed to narrow. He cleared his throat once more. "I will ensure that you will get safely back to the hotel your school is staying at. I just think this would be the perfect chance to learn a bit more about ecto-science? That was what they called it, right?"
Okay, plan was not going as hoped as Danny was now full on glaring, not as heated as the girl but still glaring. His other friends had now also lost the starry eyed look in his eyes and was watching him with clear suspicion.
Damage control, damage control! Stop sounding so formal! His mind screamed as Tim once more cleared his throat nervously. "If now is inconvenient, maybe we could meet for a coffee later? I really am hoping to learn a bit more than what's written in stuffy reports."
"We got some free exploring time tomorrow afternoon. It's Tim Drake! We could at least hear him out." One of his friends stage whispered to Danny who continued to watch him with narrowed, glaring eyes.
"Tucker, no." Danny whispered back before addressing Tim. "Sorry, I have no interest in my parents work."
Before Tim could say anything else Danny dragged his friends out of his office to catch up with the other students. Leaving Tim stunned before he dragged a hand down his face. So much for phase two of his first contact plan.
"Okay noted, his parents' research is not the best way to open up contact." Tim muttered before walking around his desk and opening his laptop again. He needed to readjust his plans. Luckily one of Danny's friends, Tucker, gave him some valuable information.
Maybe he could convince Steph or Duke to go to the mall with him to make it appear more natural. Dick could also be an option, he was in town at the moment. But either way that would also risk further questions, when he 'coincidentally' ran into Danny Fenton. He didn't think reasoning with Dick about some good old brotherly bonds would distract his eldest brother long enough.
Maybe it was about time to get at least one of his siblings in on the Drake's family secret.
Or not depending, he could also check their exploring route via the city cameras and then just go coincidentally into the same coffee or food place Danny and his friends happened to go to.
Yeah that sounded better than getting his siblings involved already.

hello mind if I drop off a prompt?
Damian let's his family know he is going to hang out with a friend.
a bat bugs Damian to find him hanging out with one Danni Fenton.
adult Danny/Sam/Tucker parenting a 12 year old Danni.
The trio earn Auntie/Uncle/Uncle privileges from Damian.
Oh, this will be fun!
Okay, first things first would be the absolute disbelief from the batfam from Damian's announcement. Because Damian. Damian "Demon Brat" Wayne, had a friend. A friend that they didn't have the knowledge of knowing until just then.
With Damian springing it on them, they didn't have the time to ask any important questions, let alone do a background check on the kid and their family.
From what Damian told them, the kid they were meeting was named Danielle, but she preferred to be called Ellie. She and her parents had moved to Gotham not too long ago. He met her on a pure coincidence. And of course, with how paranoid the Batfam was, that didn't settle well for them. The parents could've sent their child to get close to the Wayne family for the money. Or kidnap Damian!
Tim walked up to Damian and ruffled his hair while teasing the younger Wayne about how he finally made a friend that wasn't an animal. With a scoff and a swat as a way to get rid of the opposing limb, Damian turned and left the manor while slamming the door behind him.
As soon as it closed, Tim raced back to where he left his computer. There was no way he wasn't going to let his little brother go anywhere unknown without at least two trackers on him. And with how the others quickly scrambled behind him to get a look on his computer, the others had the same thought.
------
Damian, however, was excited to visit Dani and her family.
The two had met when he was leaving school and waiting for Alfred to pick him up. And she wasn't that far from him, standing near the road waiting for someone to pick her up as well. At first glance, she looks like she could be someone adopted by father. Black hair tied to a ponytail and shockingly bright blue eyes. Immediately, he saw her as someone that his father would try to adopt just off of appearance alone. With her seeming to be around his age, he could claim that he could have a sibling to interact with more.
Of course, it wasn't long before the stranger took notice of his staring and turned to look him dead on. Her eyes meeting his in a serious stare down where neither of them moved.
When Damian made the move to speak, a car pulled up in front of the girl. The passenger side window rolling down and someone talking to the girl. She responded in turn before opening the passenger side door and getting in. Damian could only stand and watch as the car soon pulled away from the school and drive away into the distance. Not long afterwards, Alfred arrived to pick him up and he rode in silence on the way home while contemplating the other student that he met.
Okay! Here's how I feel like it would go down with their so called meeting out of the way.
Damian would see Dani and would immediately assume that she would be some sort of clone of either his father or one of the other bats. Was she sent to his school to watch and observe him? Did she know who his alter ego was?
After that, he would be watching her every move during class, surprising himself to find out that she was even in a few of his classes. Suspicious.
Does he approach her? No, because that would put too much on him and probably give her the opening she was expecting. He was ten steps ahead of her in every way!
Day after day, he watches and takes note of everything that she does, trying to notice any oddities in her behavior. Or any sign that she was spying on him.
While she didn't seem to be spying on him directly, Damian did notice her personality of being strong willed, stubborn and having a love for puns. Hm, a clone of the Robins maybe instead of Batman?
Dani, on the other hand, is wondering why the young Wayne seemed to be following her from a distance ever since they've seen each other that day on the end of school. From what Danny told her, it was the older Wayne's that she was supposed to avoid in case she was forcefully kidnapped, though it seemed that the younger Wayne was just as bad as the older ones.
How did Dani end up going to Damian's school, you ask? Well, it was simple:
Not long after Danny defeated Pariah Dark and took up the mantel as the next King of the Infinite Realms, Dani had returned from her travels around the world and decided to spend a bit of time with Danny as things calmed down. Maybe even get to know the others a bit better, seeing as she was never properly introduced to them.
She found out that he was dating both Sam and Tucker. Had been for a while now. Huh, go figure. And during that time of dating, she had arrived to catch up and spend a bit more time of all of them. Maybe even try to find a good reason to stay in Amity for a bit longer (even though she really loved to travel).
But not too long after that, a reveal gone wrong left Dani standing in a room with a frantic Sam packing up everything she owned while Jazz treated a barely conscious Danny's wound on his side. A gunshot wound that was from his parents no doubt.
One rushed explanation from Jazz about how the reveal went wrong, and how they had to leave Amity Park. Now.
With a quick meet up with Tucker, the five of them were huddled in a car and pedaling out of Amity as fast as they could. Dani staying in the back seat with Jazz to watch over Danny and make sure that he didn't pass out again on their way to-wherever it was they were going. Her core wouldn't allow it.
The clone didn't know how far they've been driving and for how long, but she knew that they were out of Amity and that was all that mattered. But the question bouncing around her head was: what happens now?
And the answer was to drive all the way called Gotham city and lay low for a while. Thankfully, a lot of the buildings were no questions asked. So when they find a place that could fit all of them (small and cramped as it was) while planning on what to do now. Of course Sam, Tucker, and Jazz all pretty much up and left without much except for some spare clothes and their ghost hunting gear (and a credit card Sam managed to snag from her mom's purse. Her own card didn't have as much on it.). But Danny was out of there and they were safe from both the Fentons and the GIW. For now.
Now, several weeks have passed. Jazz had managed to find a job to help with the money, while Sam and Tucker were both on the way as well. Which left Dani pretty much alone in the apartment with a slowly healing Danny. And while he was healing, he was kept on house arrest, much to his ire. Though he did help out with the cooking and other house chores while the others were out doing their own thing. And if the two of them occasionally floating outside their apartment during the night, who would tell on them?
When about two months passed, the older teens realized that Gotham would be their permanent home until further notice, so it would only be right that they allow Dani some time to get out as well.
So, they enroll her to school! Gotham U no less (Thank you, Tucker). Sure it was a bit stuffy for their tastes (mostly Sam's), but they were sure that Dani would fit in fine! What's the worst that could happen?
Unfortunately, Dani was a clone of Danny, so she was off to a bit of a rough start. And she hadn't really interacted with someone of her (supposed) age before, so it was all plenty new for her. So she really didn't know where to start.
It wasn't until she went to class that she met a kid in the back row facing the window, who looked like he didn't want to be in this class either. And during attendance she learned that his name was Damian Wayne. Odd, wasn't that the name of that rich family that Sam talked (more like complained) about? Oh well, coincidence maybe.
Throughout the entire day, Dani would notice that if they had the same class, he would be looking in her direction for moments at a time.
It was about the last class of the day when Dani pieced together as to why he could be doing that.
Oh..
He was shy!
Well, Dani would make sure that wouldn't last long. And maybe he would approach her soon.
So every day, Dani would work on getting to know him better. Even when he would brush her off and try to make her go away. She was as stubborn as Danny for a reason!
When the two finally became friends and Dani told that her new friend invited her to her house and also offered her parents, she forgot on whether or not that was truly the rich Wayne she was supposed to stay away from.
Dani had spoken about her friend plenty of times, and all of her parents seemed to like him.
Danny laughed every time Dani spoke about doing something or possibly pranking Damian, thinking that she was doing good with socialization and that the kid had to enjoy their friendship to some degree.
Sam was a bit more cautious of the friend, asking more of his likes and dislikes. Was he really bullying Dani? Did he say anything mean to her? Did she have to go to the school and fight a kid? All and all, Dani slowly convinced her that Damian was a good kid and she let it be. Telling Sam that Damian was a vegan may or may not have helped.
Tucker was a bit more lenient than the other two. The kid was nice to her? Didn't bully her? He was smart and knew his way around tech? Good
But as they stood in front of Wayne Mansion dressed in their more casual clothes, they all thought that they should've asked more questions about Dani's friend.
(All in all: neither of them have truly interacted with someone their age, your honor.)
Confrontations, miscommunication, and possibly a lot of bonding could come from both sides, and I would love to see it!

Gothica Graysons (Title to be determined)
So this story is based off of this post where Danny learns acrobatics from the Graysons. This story is quickly developing into a multi-chap fic, just for the Circus Gothica arc. I don't know where this will go afterwards-i don't know enough about batman-but anyone is willing to take this story and use it for their own story!
The Graysons had been a part of this Circus for a while now. They can't quite remember when they left Haly's circus or why. Something happened. Something....
"Performing death defying stunts without the aid of a net...!"
"Dad!"
They had joined circus Gothica. It was an odd choice, their aesthetic dark and edgy in a way that they didn't really appreciate. It was boring too, the days blending into one another in a way that left them uncertain of how long they had been with the troupe. The other members looked just as bored as them too, their eyes glazed over in the same red haze that plagued their own vision. Not to mention the ringmaster was a total ass. Why they stayed....
you will listen to me minions
Well, it wasn't like they knew where their old troupe was, much less had the time to find them. So even though she and her husband didn't like it, they didn't exactly have anywhere to go.
They did though. There was someone they needed to find....
you'll always be our special little robin...
Mary shook herself as she and her husband got ready for their act. It really was terribly boring here, they didn't even remember changing into their costumes....
That didn't matter. They had an audience to entertain.
"Presenting! Here from beyond the veil to give you a ghoulish performance, the late Flying Graysons!"
That was their cue. Mary plastered a smile onto her face as she and John swung into the arena, flipping over each other in a practiced routine that they knew by heart. The audience beneath roared in excitement as they passed between trapezes, flying over and under each other, dancing through the air effortlessly. It was routine at this point, even if it felt like there was a strange gap in their routine, like there should be someone else...
Mary's eyes caught on a boy.
There wasn't anything special about him. He looked like any other normal teenager. The only thing that made him stand out was that he wasn't dressed like all the others in the audience, his white and red shirt popping out starkly against the sea of black shirts and silver spikes. There wasn't anything noteworthy about him.
But his appearance still made her pause mid-leap, hovering for just a moment in the air in the way only a ghost a true acrobat could, drinking in his raven black hair and ice blue eyes. Eyes that were swiftly clouding over with the same red haze that still tinged her vision. For the first time in a while Mary felt dread pool in her gut in a way that she hadn't felt since she was alive performing their routine with her son for the very first time.
Her son...her son?
"Robin..." she whispered, staring into the red eyes of her boy. Yes, how could she have forgotten? Robin, their son.
***
Sam regretted going to Circus Gothica.
That was never something she would've thought she'd say, but never say never and all that.
"Danny!"
It was just supposed to be a fun outing. A way for her to stick it to her parents, enjoy something she liked for a change, and hang with her friends.
"Danny?!" And it had been at first. Danny and Tucker didn't really get the goth scene, but they were supportive of her interests (when it didn't involve her activism, or her ultra-recyclo-vegetarianism, or anything that would affect them personally, but she was working on it) which was more than could be said about her parents. They were so caught up in maintaining their reputation that they didn't truly care about anything else.
"Danny, where are you?!"
The performance was incredible. The acts had been dark, gloomy, and spoke to her in a way nothing else had. Every person had put on a show that defied human capability-especially the trapeze artists who Sam swore flew through the air like true ghosts could-and even Tucker had been 'oohing' and 'ahing' throughout. It was one of the best experiences she'd ever had, and one she wouldn't soon forget. After the performance she'd finally torn her eyes from the arena and turned to look at her two friends, only to just see Tucker beside her and Danny nowhere in sight.
"C'mon, this isn't funny anymore!"
She'd been angry at first, thinking he'd gotten bored and ditched them (he got so easily distracted), but when they exited the tent and still couldn't find him...that's when they'd started to worry.
When they got home and found their parents angrily waiting for them with no Danny in sight...that's when they started realize that something had gone horribly wrong.
"Danny!"
***
Freakshow had been surprised when the boy had shown up in the tents after the performance. At first, he thought he had been found out by a child too curious for his own good. He'd been about to call for one of his dullard of a minions when he'd noticed the red eyes and assumed that one of them had already overshadowed the fool. When he'd ordered him out of the tent, the boy had turned around to leave. When he'd screamed that he was talking to the ghost, the most amazing, awful thing happened.
The boy became one.
A white ring of ectoplasmic light formed around him and split, transforming the boy into a specter that hovered in front of him, still staring at him with red eyes and the same blank expression that all his minions did.
The boy was a ghost.
This boy had managed to do the one thing he'd always craved, turned himself into one of the beings of the other side. The one thing he'd cried and sobbed about every night as his parents ignored another birthday, holiday, school performance in favor of their research, wishing more than anything that he could be the one thing that they cared more than anything about...
He'd struck him. He'd kicked and punched and screamed, demanding to know how he'd done it. When the answer had come it only made him angrier. Science. The boy's idiotic parents had made a portal to the Infinite Realms through science, the one thing his parents never studied. The one subject he'd struggled in more than anything else, too steeped in the occult and mysticism to ever truly grasp it. The boy was beginning to turn black and blue when a snarl erupted from behind him and the Grayson specters leaped between him and the ghost child, eyes completely red and expressions filled with a rage that broke through the thrall of the Pret Niyantran. Silently, Lydia materialized between him and the two infuriated spirits, her aura thick in the air, intimidating them into submission (or at least not attacking him) until he composed himself. His hands were white around the staff as he exerted his will. The red crystal glowed as it amplified his will, strengthening his mind until the ghosts had no choice but to fall back under his thrall. Immediately the enraged expressions disappeared, their eyes returning to their original shape and their bodies becoming lax, awaiting his commands. He ordered them out of the tent, telling them to take the abomination with them. If his dim-witted minions cared for the child so much, then they could be responsible for him. He couldn't stand to look at the demon who'd achieved his greatest wish for a moment longer. Without a word, all three left, phasing through the cloth walls as if they weren't even there. The stab of envy as he watched the display of power was no stranger to him, but it's sharpness at now knowing there was a way to become one of them that didn't involve his own death...that he was unprepared for. He threw the table when he felt the freezing touch of Lydia against his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. He screamed at her to get out, uncaring about the concerned look she gave him before turning to leave as well. He didn't want to be pitied by the lesser beings under his command. He wouldn't. His hands shook with rage, only steadying whenever they landed on something solid before it was halfway across the tent. The sounds of shattering glass and breaking wood fell on deaf ears as he raged. And if his minions stayed quiet in their tents? Then all the better.
He didn't want to see any filthy ghosts right now.
***
John watched as his wife cooed over their son, brushing his hair in an attempt to get it to lie flat. He chuckled as each time, the untidy mop would poof up higher and higher, loaded with static charge from being run through with the natural bristle brush so many times. It had been so long since their boy had been with them and she was smothering him in affection in an effort to make up for the lost time. Mary hadn't tried this hard to style their boys hair since his sixth birthday when they had had enough money to take their boy somewhere nice. That had been a very productive season-he was getting off track, lost in nostalgia the same way his wife was. His sons red eyes watched him back, blank in a way that concerned him. The ringmaster didn't like their son. He could see it in the way his eyes narrowed at the boy every time he crossed his sight. The way his teeth grit and his hands tightened on the staff he always carried with him, strangling the wood like he wanted to strangle something else.
John never let him have that opportunity. He still remembered the feeling of something being wrong, wrong, wrong, of rushing towards that feeling only to see the ringmaster standing over their little Robin, hand raised to strike him. The all encompassing fury that had overtaken him in that moment, a snarl he hadn't known he was capable of ripping itself out of his throat as he put himself between their son and the ringmaster. What happened after that was a blur. The next thing he remembered was floating out of the circus and back towards town. His wife and child trailed behind him as they made their way to the jewelry store and began loading the sacks they had been provided with as many valuables as possible. John didn't know why they were stealing these things. A small midwestern town wouldn't have anything of higher quality, so it wasn't like the ringmaster would be getting a significant amount of whatever was stolen here. Most of the precious metals were of low quality, and all the gems were lab grown. Plus, it just felt...wrong. He and Mary were carnies, Romani born and raised. There were more honest ways of swindling peoples money than stealing it from their banks. It was so...petty.
Not that the ringmaster would listen to any of them. Instead, John made sure his son stayed near as they phased through the walls and grabbed everything they could before flying back towards the circus. The police gave a valiant chase, but it was hard to track something that could walk through walls, disappear, and fly. It wasn't long before the wailing of the sirens faded away and the three of them landed in Freakshow's tent. The heavy sacks of ill-gotten goods fell from their lax fingers and smashed into the bare ground, metal clinking against metal and the hissing rattle of gems smaller than a pin shifting in the bags as they settled on the ground. The ringmaster seemed pleased as he scooped up their spoils and ran them through his fingers, though he quickly snarled at the three of them to leave afterwards. John was only too happy to oblige.
He and Mary quickly made their way to the circus arena to begin practicing their routine. It had been so long since all three of them had worked together, and they needed to rehearse as much as possible before their next performance. It's a good thing they decide to do this too, as their son can't seem to remember any of the routine at all. Or any acrobatic skills. What had the boy been doing all this time? He and Mary have to start him on the basics all over again. They share a look as their boy swings clumsily across the arena. So much for doing their normal act. They'd have to bring out their first routine they did when D-when their little Robin was 4, They'd have to account for his bigger size and weight, but the routine was deliberately simple so that even a beginner could do it. John slowly floats up to their sons height and begins giving him pointers, showing him how to hold the trapeze bars so he wouldn't slip, how to angle his body so that his weight swings him across the arena instead of using his muscles and tiring himself out too quickly. His little Robin soaks up the lessons like a sponge, his body quickly remembering the old lessons. Once sure that their boy wouldn't hurt himself, John begins showing him the routine for tonight's performance.
"Danny!" The voice startles the three of them out of practice and they all turn to look down at the ground. A girl with black hair is staring up at them with wide, purple eyes, her face open with shock and horror. She stands, rooted to the ground with open dismay.
"Dude! What are you doing?!" The boy next to her cries, not frozen with emotions like his friend. "Everyone's looking for you! Your parents are worried sick!" John tilted his head in confusion at the boy. How could their sons parents be worried? They were right here; and their boy's name wasn't Danny. It was...it was...It didn't matter. Their son was here now. There was no need to be looking for him now that he was finally back where he belonged.
"My...parents?" Robin croaked-the first words he'd said since that first night- and glanced towards him and his mother with his own confusion and incredulity, obviously not understanding any more than they did.
"Yeah dude! Jazz is worried sick! She's convinced you've been kidnapped!" The dark-skinned boy continues, glaring up at their son as if he was responsible for this family worrying themselves to death.
"Jazz..." Their boy whispers, his eyes gaining awareness, the red color flickering, being replaced by toxic green and icy blue. His face spasming with pain and screwing up as though he's trying to remember something. "Fight it Danny!" The girl screams, finally coming out of her stupor and marching towards the center pole that hold the tent up as if she's going to climb the ladder and drag their son down herself. "Don't let these ghosts brainwash you! We're your friends!" "Ghosts don't have friends," the ringmaster called out. Everyone in the room tensed, turning to look in his direction and he strutted into the arena, Lydia trailing behind him as a silent bodyguard, a quiet threat. "But how interesting it is to see two little vermin sneak in unannounced," he sneered, peering down his nose at them. Both the teens crouched into fighting stances, ready to run at a moments notice. "Well minion? Don't just stand there. Introduce us." The girl locked up in fury, looking ready to tear the ringmaster to shreds. The boy in the red hat wasn't far behind her. Robin stayed silent, his eyes still flickering rapidly between blistering green and blank red.
"Minion? Danny isn't your slave! He's his own person!" The girl shouted, marching forward and getting in the ringmasters face in an effort to intimidate him. Unfortunately her head barely came up to the ringmasters' chest, so it wasn't very effective.
"I don't remember talking to you little girl," the man hissed, his pale, human red eyes glaring down at her hatefully. "I asked you a question you dolt." The ringmasters hand tightened on his staff and the orb on top brightened, the dizzying red color washing every other thought out of John's head. "Answer me," he demanded.
"Don't call Danny that!" The black teenager shouted, leaping forward as if to punch the ringmaster. Unconsciously, John found himself and Mary flying between him and their master, acting as a wall and stopping the boy in his tracks. Both teens watched them warily and didn't try to get closer.
"Their names are Tucker Foley and Sam Manson," Their son responded, staring into the red crystal.
"Manson," the ringmaster repeated, his eyes widened in shock, but quickly narrowed in cunning and delight. His fingers tapped absently on the wood of his staff in contemplation. "As in, daughter of Pamela and Richard Manson? The richest family in Amity Park Manson?" He inquired, his eyes bright as he stared at the young woman with greed. John felt his gut fill with dread again. Behind him, his son went stiff. Sam seemed to catch onto the danger and started backing away. "Now, why leave after you've come all this way? After all, didn't you come to enjoy our hospitality?" The master stepped forward, the rest of the troupe materializing behind him, John stepping in line with them mindlessly.
A white gloved hand gripped both teens shoulders and John looked up to see his son, eyes blazing with green fire glaring straight at them, before all three disappeared from their sight. The ringmaster growled, fingers twisting around his cane in fury.
"Find them!" He screeched. They obeyed.

Been talking with some friends and i have another dp au(void help me)
Danny Phantom Phasmophobia au
Sam and Tucker decide they want to go to this creepy house in this small town outside Amity Park, Danny hesitantly tags along
When he enters the house, He feels this oppressive aura, and his core is screaming at him to leave(He does not, But hes really wary and on edge)
Eventually someone in their trio has to go in alone, Danny reluctantly goes in(He doesn't want Sam or Tucker to get hurt)
The aura from before is more intense now
Eventually the ghost would appear(I imagine they're pissed that humans are disturbing their haunt), and they cant tell Danny's a ghost at first until they get close
When they do, Danny cant move or speak, the feeling from before is overwhelming and hes fucking terrified
His core is telling him to look away, not to appear as a threat, so he does
The ghost realizes that Danny's a young ghost, and a halfa at that, so they take pity and calm Danny down, and explain to them a few things(that i'll explain in a second), and let him go with a light warning not to disturb another's Haunt
On the other side of this, Sam and Tucker are terrified for Danny when the ghsot started hunting, and then after when Danny's Radio suddenly stops working, They try to break into the house but cant manage to get in
They're so relieved when Danny walked through the door, visably shaken up but other then that, completely fine
They decide to leave after that, and Later Danny fills them in on what happened afterwards(They apologize to him for pushing him into that situation in the first place)
NOW FOR SOME HC AND LORE STUFF OF THIS WORLD
Theres a difference between Haunts in the Ghost Zone(Lairs), and in the human world
Amity park is an exception and i'll explain that in a bit
All Haunts should be treated with respect, Ghosts dont enter a haunt uninvited, attack someone in their own haunt, etc. Thats the extent of it for Lairs, Since ghosts are really the only beings in the infinite realms, theres no need for any protection
In the human world however, Humans and other creatures disturb haunts quite frequently, to counter act this, Ghosts who reside in the human realm have a oppressive/protective aura to chase away anyone unwanted, and by extention, any curious ghosts looking to claim the haunt as their own. Sometimes, Ghosts will fight eachother for a haunt in the human world, hence why the aura affects them aswell
Amity Park is an odd case. The entire city is considered Phantom's haunt, which is pretty big for a haunt. Whats stranger is that Phantom is much more welcoming then other ghosts, allowing other ghosts to reside in Amity as long as they dont cause any trouble
His aura is still protective, and intimidating to new ghosts entering, but it isn't as intense or intimidating as other ghosts.
Another thing is that a ghost's aura depends on age of the ghost, along with how long they've had/how close they are to their haunt.
Halfa's are also a fun topic, They get the same instincts ghosts do, but they dont get any information when it comes to ghost taboo, rules, traditions, etc. Danny in this didn't know the rules about human haunts, but his instincts acted up anyways, which is why he was on edge and reacted to the aura
Alot of Phasmophobia/Danny Phantom idea's ive seen where danny wasn't completely dead seemed to have Danny as confident and unphased by other ghosts, so I thought this would be a nice different take on the idea ~ Ender/Whisper

So ghostking au thing I thought of
I have seen a lot of frightknight follows/protects Danny once he’s king fics and I had an idea of my own.
So Danny has his coronation during summer break and fright is seen following phantom around afterwards. Someone, possibly Wes or dash, finally asks phantom why only a week or two before school starts again. Needless to say everyone is shocked to hear that phantom is king now, has ordered minimal damage, and now has fright as his personal guard. Fast forward to school starts and dash goes to bully Danny like usual, only to have fright come and threaten him to leave his charge alone, using those words because Danny tried to explain the concept of secret identities to him. It helped somewhat but fright still doesn’t get it, especially the part where Danny wants to let dash bully him for appearances. Dash of course runs away. Word of this spreads and Valerie or someone asks him. Danny freaks out and says that he and phantom were secretly friends and that’s how phantom had Fenton tech and they kept it secret because of his parents, but now phantom has fright keeping him safe because other ghosts don’t like that they are friends. At first people accept it but then they start noticing things that don’t line up, like Sam and tucker are known friends but fright is not protecting them, Danny’s scars, etc. Wes keeps trying to convince everyone that Danny is phantom, but they finally figure out the truth! Danny is not phantom’s friend, he’s his FRIEND! Everyone now thinks Danny is dating phantom. Sam and tucker are laughing, Wes is pulling his hair out, Valerie is jealous and hates phantom more now, and Danny is having a breakdown.
Bonus: fright is a little chaotic or decides that this helps keep Danny’s identity safe so he “helps” by calling alive Danny things like phantom’s beloved, or phantom’s treasured
You decided if he is doing it out of confused help or to cause a bit of harmless mischief
Or basically:
Danny is king now
Fright protects the king, both as ghost and as human
Danny is protected as human, claims phantom and him are friends
Miscommunication happened and now people think they are dating

Chapter Nine
Masterlist
Danny had just finished getting things set up for dinner that night when there was a knock on the door. It was odd because Ellie had a key, and Jason would either call out while knocking or just break in through the window. Something in the air told them that they wouldn’t be back to enjoy dinner, so they sighed as they started putting everything away.
After that was done, they marched to their door and yanked it open. Standing in the doorway, looking slightly awkward about it, was one of his oldest friends. They hadn’t started as friends in their first lives, and they never even met in their second. This life, though, Clockwork had sent them to meet them with some time travel shenanigans.
“Hey… Can I come in?” She had her hair brushed in front of her face, and she was wearing a simple pair of grey leggings with an oversized long sleeve shirt with a cartoon ghost on it. It was an outfit he’d bought and hidden for her when it became clear she didn’t have some of the common comforts normal people did.
“Hey yourself.” His smile was surely a mixture of sad and nostalgic, but they’d promised long ago not to lie to each other. Instead of saying more words, he stepped to the side and gestured into his apartment with a sweeping motion of his arm.
When they were both situated on the couch, Talia smiled at him with a sad smile of her own. “Thanks… How’ve you been?”
Danny narrowed his eyes at her. “You’re dilly dallying. You, almost as a rule, don’t do that. What aren’t you telling me? We’ve never lied to each other, don’t start now.”
Talia’s eyes narrowed in return. “You remember.” The smile grew into a smirk of sorts. “I’m here because Father did something stupid. Something I had no real way to entirely stop if I wanted to take over the League and stop him completely. Elle won’t be coming home, nor will any of the Bats aside from Alfred, Father took them to get to you. He thinks he can control you through them, but I know better. Before I left to come here, I activated a plan that cleared my people out of the base except for those who are protecting Damian in my quarters. I’m here to ask you to let me help you fight your way through the base and to ask you to let me be the one to kill Father, if only so that you can claim your retribution long afterwards.”
“You remember too.” Danny went silent, thinking things through. As he came to a conclusion, a horrible, terrifying smile that was a bit too wide for his face appeared. “That sounds like it will be purr-fect. After all,” His voice had dipped into a purr that screamed danger, “I don’t let anyone get away with messing with my people.”
The grin Talia gave him in response was downright deadly. Danny was sure the result of all of this was going to be an absolute bloodbath, but he couldn’t quite find it in himself to care. They had decided to mess with his family, so he was going to mess with what they cared about right back. Ra’s would rue the day that he’d decided to mess with Danny.
~`~`~
Tim came into consciousness slowly, with all the creeping slowness of waking from sedatives. As soon as his brain processed what he was seeing, he struggled to stand, not managing it due to the chains and magic that surrounded him in the room that housed the Lazarus Pit. His eyes darted around, noting the placement of his family, a girl that looked eerily like Danny, and, the one he’d been looking for all along, Ra’s al Ghul.
“It seems you are all awake now, good.” Ra’s was smiling in a way that meant he thought everything was going according to his plan, and it seemed like an even more disgusting plan than usual, Ra’s didn’t usually include civilians.
“What do you want?” Bruce’s voice was gruff and tense, and Tim could tell there was even more tension and anxiety in Bruce than was being shown in his voice or body language. “Where’s Damian?”
Tim’s eyes widened as Bruce’s words made him look over the room again, revealing that Damian really wasn’t with the group of hostages. Tim and his family exchanged glances with each other, expressing the horror and worry they all felt as they all ran through all the horrible reasons for Damian not being tied up with the rest of them.
“Do not worry about him, he’s with his mother. Worry for yourselves and your purpose here.” The smile on Ra’s face got even more disgusting, somehow. Tim found it a little insulting that Ra’s said that.
Tim was worried. He was worried about Gotham and the people they weren’t there to protect, Danny in particular. He was worried about Conner and the rest of the Supers when they heard that the Bats had all been kidnapped. He was worried about whatever plot was happening this time. He was worried about Damian, who had been separated from the group for whatever reason. He was worried about what Danny would think when they all simultaneously disappeared. He was worried about how disgusting and self-satisfied the smile on Ra’s face was.
“B already asked you what you want.” Dick’s voice was dark yet still cheerful, likely for the purpose of giving Ra’s a false reason to blab his plot. Ra’s knew that Dick was always cheerful unless all hope was lost, and he thought that all hope should be lost, thus he would explain more that they could then, hopefully, use to escape.
Ra’s laughed a dark laugh. “You won’t get out of those chains without my express permission, so there’s no harm in telling you. I want the connections that I can get once I get my hands on Daniel Fenton. Once I have those connections and weapons, I will be able to live forever with such power at my hands that the world will finally fall into my rightful, ruling hands.”
Tim’s expression hardened. “That won’t work out in your favor.” He didn’t fully understand what Ra’s said, but he knew that it wouldn’t work out, call it instinct.
“On the contrary, it will. See, he’s the least dangerous one.” Ra’s was about to continue when Jason snorted. With a glare at Jason for interrupting him, Ra’s continued on, “He’s the civilian friend to a family of Bats.” A chuckle burst from Jason’s lips, and everyone in the room looked confused at that reaction, even Jason. After a moment more of confused staring, Ra’s got back into his swing and went on, “By taking all of you first, we’ve left him without any support thus making it easy to deal with him.” Jason let out a short laugh this time, and Tim was getting concerned about how confused Jason seemed to be about his own behaviour. Was this another side effect of the Lazarus Pit? Was- Ra’s broke through Tim’s spiraling thoughts with a sharp, “What are you laughing about?”
Jason couldn’t seem to answer him, every time he opened his mouth more chuckles spilled out. The confusion and horror on his face as it seemed like he couldn’t even stop himself from laughing unnerved Tim more than just the plain laughter would have. It was almost like Jason was under the effects of Joker Venom. Tim exchanged glances with the rest of the hostages, except for the girl who looked like Danny, this wasn’t normal.
“What do you find so funny?” For all the confusion in the tone, Ra’s voice was still sharper than a League member’s katana. “You’ve just been informed that your closest civilian friend will be under our control through you and your little group being used as hostages. We even have preparations made to stop any of the super powered friends of your little group from rescuing you. What. Is. So. Funny?”
Abruptly, Jason’s laughter cut off, further unnerving everyone in the room. Jason had just barely subtly signed the word “instinct” to the rest of them before he was leaning forward in his chains with a cocky smile on his face, although Tim could see the confusion hidden deep within his eyes. “I don’t find it funny.” He paused likely for dramatic effect, because Jason was a dramatic little fuck like that. “I find it fucking hilarious.” The room sat in stunned silence as Jason leaned backwards, looking ridiculously at ease for being chained to the floor in the same room as a Lazarus Pit except for the fact that Tim could see conflicting emotions hidden deep within his eyes and posture.
“Wha-” Ra’s began only to be interrupted.
“You think he’s the civilian among us.” He chuckled a little. “You think that capturing us was anything but putting a fancy signature on your death certificate, and I mean your final death certificate. You think he’s the least dangerous one. You think your people can do a single fucking thing to him? You think he needs our help. You think you’ll be able to control him. You think you’re safe. You think you’ve won.” Jason’s tone was the same as the one a parent uses to explain to their child that the square peg won’t ever fit in the circular hole about five hours into that conversation.
“You-” Ra’s once again got interrupted.
Jason scoffed. “Me? Well I’m just waiting. Waiting for that gorgeous expression you’ll make when you realize how extremely,” Jason pronounced every syllable of that word with sharp carefulness, “wrong you are. Your wonderful fucking strategy is an absolute shitshow of misinformation. If I were you, I’d starting fucking praying. I’m talking hands and knees, tears running down your face, wailing at the sky, rocking on the ground, don’t give a shit except about being granted a positive answer praying. Because I really doubt that any god will answer you with anything but a negative, they wouldn’t want to anger the one you call a civilian.” The grin that took over Jason’s face was sharp and mildly unhinged, but the confusion still rested heavy in his eyes.
The girl look-a-like of Danny burst out laughing, drawing the confused attention of the rest of the room. “He’s so very right, ya know. I don’t think he knows how right he be, but sweet baby Ancients is he correct. You wanted to use Danny’s loved ones as a controlling mechanism? Translated that equals you wanting to learn why death is not a mercy, it’s a sentence. Pa is going to rip you limb. from. limb. at the very least, but don’t worry, you’ll feel it all. Every. Last. Bit. Of. It.” The girl’s voice was dark, sharp, and targeted towards the end, losing the mirth that had colored it when she first started speaking.
Ra’s walked over to the girl, stiff with anger and slapped her hard, right across the face. The girl’s only response was to start laughing once again. Ra’s growled in growing anger. “Little girl, you should stop laughing because you don’t know who you’re messing with.”
That got her to stop laughing, but the expression on her face sent chills down Tim’s spine. It wasn’t particularly terrifying for any reason he would usually give, but it was far too calm for someone who’d just gotten slapped hard enough to be rocked backwards. “I know exactly who you are, Ra’s al Ghul. I know all about your twisted rap sheet. To be frank, I expected you to hit harder. I mean, come on, I’ve been hit harder by literal toddlers. You should reevaluate your life if you think that you are dangerous to me.”
Ra’s stiffened even further, and the girl, for some reason, found that so hilarious that she burst into laughter once again. This only served to piss Ra’s off even more. Tim, and his family which he saw whenever he managed to drag his eyes away from the horror show in front of him, could only watch as Ra’s proceeded to beat the girl up as she laughed the whole while.
Finally, when the girl had blood freely flowing from her broken nose on top of more invisible injuries, Tim couldn’t take it anymore. “Are you such a wimp that you have to beat up a girl to make yourself feel better?” Tim felt the words were a bad idea as they slipped out, but he was already doing it. Ra’s turned with a look so full of anger Tim questioned if he’d ever see another one like it. He had just managed to brace himself when the slap hit, shifting with it to lessen the blow even though that barely helped.
Over the ringing in his ears, he heard a massive boom coming from the direction of the big double doors. The boom repeated twice more, almost like a slow and steady knock. “What?!” Ra’s snapped out, although Tim didn’t think his voice was loud enough to be heard beyond the door. Three more of the slow booms resonated throughout the room from the doors. “What?!!” Ra’s shouted, this time actually being loud enough that Tim thought it could be heard through the door.
A final massive boom echoes as the doors are blown open, revealing a small pile of assassins that appear to have been beaten into unconsciousness denoted by the bruises spreading across a lot of the visible skin, some of the bruises were already turning purple. Tim might be having issues seeing because of the reflexive tears from the slap, but he swore he could see some bones poking out of skin. The area past the pile was darker than it should be, the only light seeming to be from the room itself. That wasn’t normal, the base was usually well lit, especially in frequently used areas. What was going on?
~`~`~
Jason was alternating between looking at the pile in shock and glaring at Ra’s for his actions. Nellie had done nothing to him other than pointing a couple of things out though Tim had, admittedly, antagonized Ra’s to get his slap. However, Jason’s blood was boiling as he watched a little bit of red leak out of Tim’s nose, the slight swelling already happening by his eye, and the blood starting to bead at the split in Tim’s lip. The odd orb in his chest that had prompted his strange speech was howling like a hurricane in his chest, roaring in a way that he almost understood.
“Who’s out there?” Ra’s yelled out, tone arrogant and demanding in a way Jason knew wasn’t going to end well, although he wouldn’t be able to give a concrete answer as to why he knew that with such surety.
The only answer from the darkness beyond the door was a long sigh followed by something being thrown into the room. It clearly wasn’t going to reach them, not with its size or trajectory, so no one did anything to try and get out of the way. Ra’s just watched the thing with dark eyes. The thing landed, revealing itself to be an assassin who was folded in on themselves, pinned in place by their own broken bones. Something darkly satisfied and knowing settled a large portion of the hurricane in the orb in his chest, calming it to merely a raging windstorm.
Danny walked in calmly, in the same style he did when entering the store on their grocery runs, like nothing was wrong. Despite the fact that there was no weapon anywhere to be seen on Danny, and none in the pile of assassins, there was blood splashed all over Danny’s face and clothes. His hands were clean, but there was no totally clean spot other than that.
“Hello Ra’s al Ghul, how are you today?” His voice was cheerful, but his eyes promised pain as they stared into Ra’s own.
“You-” Ra’s was once again interrupted, giving Jason an odd sense of pride-joy-funny that he couldn’t quite place.
“Da!!” Nellie’s voice was full of relief and joy along with a fair bit of pain. “It’s so good to see you!”
Jason watched as Danny looked over to them all and froze. His face closed off and became harder than steel as his eyes locked with the wounds on Nellie and Tim. There was no massive shift in the way Danny stood, but something about him now screamed dangerous in a way that Jason definitely found attractive.
“I was going to let you live for a while, seeing as I hadn’t heard from you. But, sugar, I think you need to learn your lesson. Those are my people, and they do not belong here. You are lucky that I was alerted of this now because my patience can only last for so long. You are a lucky son of a chocolate ice cream cone because if I kill you here and now then I won’t be able to do everything I want to. Thankfully, for me, not for you, I have an old friend of mine with a bone or twenty to pick with you, so she’ll be the one to kill you so that I can properly punish you after your death. You’ll have to deal with being beaten by a girl while you dance around acknowledging the fact that you done messed up. Don’t worry, you’ll never have the chance to do so again once it’s my turn.” Danny’s tone was even icier than it had been when Dick got chewed out for sparking the panic attack of Tim that one time, it was harder than it had been in the few times gangs had tried to rob them on their grocery trips, and it was so incredibly attractive to see how protective Danny was over the people that he cared about.
Danny walked forward to the point where no one could see his face other than Ra’s, and while he did that, Talia walked in behind him with an oddly proud look on her face. Jason didn’t have long to study her expression though because Ra’s suddenly let out a cry filled with fear. Looking back, Jason saw that Ra’s was kneeling before Danny, staring up at their face with a look so complicated that Jason couldn’t read it.
“Is it my turn to deal with the pathetic old man, my friend?” Talia purred out, everything about her radiated satisfaction and pride.
“Go ahead. Just remember what you need to do once he’s dead.” Danny’s voice was starting to warm up again, less like an ice age and more like a heavy blizzard.
Jason heard the sound of Talia fighting and taunting Ra’s, but he only had eyes for Danny as they checked over Nellie and Tim to make sure they were mostly okay, even giving Nellie a pill that seemed to fix most of the wounds she’d gained from the lunatic. Talia sounded like she was wrapping things up as Jason watched Danny study the magic and the chains as though looking for a way to free them all. They’d managed to get the chains to let them go when the magic disappeared. Finally looking away from Danny, Jason saw that Talia had killed Ra’s and was pointing a weird metal cylinder built like a thermos at his corpse. Jason tilted his head slightly in confusion as Talia just stood there, waiting and watchful like a big cat with eyes on its prey.
A green mist started forming above Ra’s corpse, the color only slightly different than the Lazarus Pit behind it. “May you never be reborn again, in this life or the next.” Talia said in a soft voice that was surprisingly open for the assassin she’d always appeared to be. As the last echo faded and the mist started to take form, she pushed a button on the odd thermos and a blue light shot out, wrapping around the shadowy green form that was taking the same shape as Ra’s. When the blue light retreated into the thermos, it took Ra’s soul with it, leaving only his corpse behind.
Jason, and the family he could see out of his peripheral vision, watched carefully as Talia sauntered over to Danny, clipping the thermos to his belt as she flung an arm around his shoulders and leaned into him in a way Jason was sure she’d never done with anyone before. There was a gasp from the doorway and suddenly Damian was throwing himself into Talia, who let go of Danny to wrap her son in a hug.
Danny retreated to where their group was sitting, stunned into being statues, with a fond look on his face. Turning to them, he spoke, “Ask your questions after we get everyone back home, I’m sure Alfred is worried about you all.” Danny’s voice brokered no arguments, as did his actions as he swept Tim up into his arms while Nellie attached herself to their back. “I’ve got the injured ones, let’s get going.”
The Bats could only trade glances as they unfroze to follow behind the assassin and the assistant head guard. The glances told Jason that none of them knew what was going on, but they were all determined to find out. Jason felt an intense need to know why Talia was acting so out of character and why he had a strange orb filled with foreign emotions and sensations. As he walked with the group, following a path out of the base that was littered with unconscious or dead assassins, he swore he could see flashes of another person where Danny should be. One with white hair, a cape, and a pair of heeled combat boots. It faded quickly, and as soon as they left the base, the flashes disappeared like they were never there. Jason put it out of his mind, he could worry about it after making sure his family was okay.

So, Vlad Corrupted AU
Words: Around 1940 words
Summary: One day Danny finds Vlad in his mansion a strange state. Vlad's ghost form is drastically different and he doesn't seem remember who he is. Because of this, Danny tries helping Vlad to go back to normal by bringing his memories back. As some time passes, Danny begins to reflect on his relationship with the older halfa and the reasons of why he is helping him, not being sure of why.
-Note that this isn't meant to be a full story. It is more like a ¨pilot¨, if you could say, of the overall idea i have for this AU. I may write a whole story based on it in the future.
Flying as fast as he could, he dodged some floating islands that were on his way, trying to not crash into them from the speed he was going. He already had a lost quite a lot of time having to fight a ghost on his way back home and having released them in the Ghost Zone afterwards. When he had been trying to pack up the things he needed, Jack came, telling him about the new idea for an invention he had come up with. He pretended to listen until he said that it was getting late as he had to meet with Tucker.
That was a lie.
Or a semi-lie, because Danny was indeed going to visit someone, but he wasn’t fully sure if he would call him a ¨friend¨ yet. The nature from their relationship had been pretty weird since this whole thing started.
The teen was carrying a backpack and a bag that had different stuff in them. It was mostly food, some old photos and blankets. It was important for where he needed to go, which had become a routine for him around the last month.
Not arriving on time wasn’t exactly a problem. However, he didn’t want to make the other wait too long neither. He didn’t want him to become worried and go to look for him, specially not in the state he was currently in.
Finally, at the distance, Danny saw the island he was flying forwards to. It was around half of the size of Skulker’s island, with some trees spread around and what would be a hill in the center of it all. It was in a desolated part of the Ghost Zone where the biggest threat one could stumble into was a group of wandering blobs.
Danny flew down to the island to the direction of the hill. He landed and started walking for a few minutes until he came close to a opening cave that was at the base of the hill. He looked around and yelled.
¨Hey, I’m here! I’m sorry that I got a bit late, some stuff happened.¨ He moved closer to the cave, waiting for some movement or response back. ¨Are you here?¨
Some shrieks sounds came from the cave, answering back. Two red pupiless eyes appeared inside the opening, observing at Danny with attention.
¨You can come out. It is just me, it is safe.¨ The teen made a gesture to the being that was hiding to approach him. The entity blinked a few times and then slowly flew to where Danny was, making more shrieks sounds.
The being himself was Vlad Plasmius, also known as Vlad Masters. Except his appearance had some clear differences to the ones he usually had. He was in his ghost form but most of his body looked like a shadow. His red eyes and teeth were the main things that weren’t shadow like. His form was quite taller than his usual ghost form and his hands had sharp point to them, as they were claws. Some parts of his suit and cape were torned but was hard to pick up because of them being the same color.
Vlad flew around Danny while making some chirp and bat sounds. Together they sounded that like actual words, as he was telling something to the teen. He was curious about what it was inside the backpack and the bag, watching them in detail.
The young halfa had found out that the sounds Vlad was actually making was an ancient language called Ghost Speak. When he first heard of this, he started doing more research on it, trying to see if he learn how to speak it to understand Plasmius better but, so far, he had only picked up a few words. For Danny’s luck, the man was still able to understand human language, or english in this case.
¨Yeah, yeah, i know you want to see what i brought this time. Just give me a minute¨ Danny left the backpack and bag on the ground. He opened the backpack, moving things around. He took out a green bowl, showing it to Vlad. ¨These are the leftovers from the stew i had last night. I hope you don’t mind them being cold¨
The older halfa ghost grabbed the bowl and the spoon that was passed to him, chirpping as he did so. He went and sit on a rock, eating the leftovers from the bowl with much pleasure. In meantime Danny continued pulling out things such as blankets, bottles full of water, biscuits and cheese. While searching on his backpack, he touched something thin. He took it out and saw it was a photo of a landscape.
He looked at Vlad, who had finished eating and was now floating around. With a smile, he enthusiastically flew and moved the photo to the other’s eye level for the other to see.
¨Hey, does this look familiar to you?¨ The photo was a field landscape from Wisconsin, with different trees on the side of the road and in between the fields. There were hills in the background. The entire scenario had different shades of green under a clear blue clean sky.
Vlad narrowed his eyes at the sight of image. He grabbed it with a claw, pulling it closer. After what it must have been minutes, his eyes opened wide and faced Danny, chirpping as he pointed at the photo.
¨You know it?¨ He saw Vlad nod his head in response. ¨So you do remember!¨ His expression turned happier, his eyes filled with hope.
That’s another aspect that Danny had learned when he first had found Vlad in this state: The man wasn’t fully able to remember who he was, with only having some vague fuzzy memories in between. He didn’t have an idea of who he was or what had changed his form like that. He even had tried attacking Danny when the teen had spotted him at his mansion on Wisconsin until he was reminded of who Daniel was.
When Danny tried asking Clockwork, he was explained that Vlad was ¨corrupted¨. It could happen for multiple reasons, one of the most common ones having correlation with a ghost’s emotional drive- what motivates them, their main desire- however there could be other reasons for it to happen.
There wasn’t an specific cure for corruption, as it was unique the way it manifested itself on each ghost. In spite of returning from corruption it was pretty rare to happen, Clockwork suggested that the ghost being reminded of who they used to be could be a good way to start, such as showing them things they could be familiar with.
So, for the past month, Danny has been checking up on Vlad and trying to find anything he could about his personal life. The places he has lived in, his family, books he has read…it had been a rather slow process but it seemed to be working so far.
Now he was currently sitting under a tree, resting with his hands behind his head. Vlad was next to him. His eyes were closed and his breathing was slow, probably being half-asleep. After Danny had told him about his day and the ghost fight he had, the two had fallen into silence, staying like that for a while.
Danny moved his gaze from the green swirls in the sky to the halfa who was beside him. In spite of not remembering well who Danny was, for some reason he seemed have to certain fondness of the teen. He was one of the few ghosts or people that Vlad didn’t jump to attack at plain sight. The young halfa wasn’t sure himself why this happened, why of all the people Vlad would see his own archnemesis as an ally. On the other hand, it was a good thing, as he didn’t want know what would had happened if it hadn’t been the case.
Speaking about that, Danny still wasn’t sure why he was helping Vlad. At first it had been a feeling of pity, because waking up one day having not knowing who you are and having transformed into something else must be really confusing for anyone. But after that it had changed into something different… a sentiment he couldn’t himself explain. Perhaps curiosity to learn more about Vlad… or being the only other halfa he knew oustide of Dani… whatever it was it was unclear for him.
The situation of their current dynamic was hard to define as well. Since Vlad didn’t remember who Danny was, that meant that he didn’t fight nor try to manipulate him. There wasn’t any worry of Vlad coming up with a plan to attack Jack or drag the Fentons into his fruitloop plans. In his corruption state, the older halfa didn’t have much idea of his battle history against Danny and he treated the teen more as a friend.
It had been certainly been… weird, to put it lightly, being able to interact with Plasmius without being blasted through a wall or zapped into unconsciousness. It almost felt nice being able to hang out like this with the millionaire… if it weren’t for the fact that it wasn’t something that the adult ghost had chosen to do, as it was more result of his mind being confused.
Sam and Tucker had suggested Danny to not worry about Vlad considering the bad things he had done, that no one owned him anything. Tucker had even brought up that it could be a good idea to leave him in the state he was in, since Danny wouldn’t have to worry about him bothering him again, and, to Danny and Tucker’s surprise, Sam had agreed with Tucker in his idea.
Part of him wouldn’t deny that his friends had a point. It has been rather quiet ever since Vlad had transformed… however, another part of him felt it wasn’t right to leave him like this. It felt somewhat cruel, even with being a fruitloop archnemesis.
He let out a sigh and moved his hand to the adult halfa’s shoulder, shaking him a bit. ¨Hey¨ The other opened his eyes at the movement, making an annoyed tired growl. ¨It’s getting quite late for me. I think i should get going¨ He stood up from the tree, followed up by his counterpart. As he walked to pick up his backpack and bag, he heard a low cry from behind. He turned around to see Vlad with a sad look on his face, with his ears dragged down. The expression made him look like a kicked puppy.
Feeling guilt in his stomach, he dragged a hand down on his face and went back to grabbing his things. ¨Look, i know you want me to stay a bit longer but i have to go. Remember i told you that i have my home back on Amity Park. My parents are going to get mad if i’m late for dinner¨
He looked at the older halfa again, who was still down with a disappointed expression. He approached him wearing a kind smile. ¨Don’t worry. I’ll be back in two days. Okay?¨
He waited until he saw the other changing his mood, who returned a sad smile and chirped, nodding at Danny.
With a wave, Danny turned to the sky and took off, leaving the island. He looked back at it a few times. Once it was a mere spot in the distance, he faced ahead, accelerating his own speed, hoping that he would reach home in time to avoid getting into trouble.

4E with danny/zay OR danny/yuta (your choice!)
Above Everything We Think We Know - also on AO3
~
Yuta's used to bitching back and forth with Danny and letting him get the last word, just out of convenience. He never thought there was more to it.
~
Dialogue 4: "Honestly, you could go deeper," and Scenario E: Texted something sensitive to the wrong number. Oh, Vera. I took this and ran with it. Sprinted, even. Title from Castle in the Sky by Kim Petras. Thank you, V @scissormedaddyass, for running the Three Count Exchange! I hope you enjoy this token of my gratitude <3
~
“Would you stop yawning?”
Yuta snaps out of his daze to see Danny Garcia glaring at him from the other side of the table.
“Jesus Christ, welcome back to earth,” Danny says, grinning. He shoves what appears to be a metric fuck ton of leaves into his mouth. “The fuck were you thinking about, counting sheep?”
“Fuck off, Danny,” Yuta replies. “I was up late last night.”
Danny snorts. “Jerking off to videos of your BCC boys kicking your ass?”
“Studying tape of every time I’ve beaten someone for this belt,” Yuta fires back. “I seem to remember you’re on there, right?”
“I’ve beaten you for the belt, too, dumbass,” Danny snaps, rolling his eyes. He shoves more leaves in his face and turns away, effectively nuking the conversation.
Yuta’s not willing to fight Danny on this right now – he always wants to have the last word and will fight God to get it, and Yuta learned a while ago that shutting up is easier.
But god does Danny chew his lettuce loudly.
~
He beats the shit out of his opponent for the Pure title, smiling the whole time, and crashes into Danny as he makes his ways backstage.
“Watch it, dumbass,” Danny snipes, glaring at him. “You hit me with your belt.”
Yuta levels him with his best facsimile of Danny’s trademark pout. “Oh, I’m sorry, did the special shiny belt I have that you don’t hurt you?” He turns it into a frown. “Does it remind you that you don’t have a belt at all?”
Danny reaches out and grabs the belt from Yuta, a move so sudden and brazen that Yuta doesn’t have the wherewithal to stop him. “Fuck,” Danny says. “Maybe I should talk this away from you again. Get your dumb bitchy ass back to normal.”
“I’m bitchy?!” Yuta exclaims. “Take a look in the mirror, princess.”
“Go fuck yourself,” Danny spits back. “Oh, or better, have Mox or Bryan or whatever fuck you so you get this energy out.”
Yuta scoffs. “Don’t be stupid. We make each other even worse.”
“Oh, so the frequent dicking down is what’s got you this sucky,” Danny says. “Whatever. Every day I’m glad I never got stuck with whatever sex dungeon shit you guys do.”
“Love how you’re stealing bits now,” Yuta says. “You tell Hangman you were using that line, or is plagiarism your new thing?”
“Considering you cheated to get your belt, I thought you’d be all about it.” Danny walks away, throwing a smile over his shoulder.
Last word. Again.
Yuta’ll figure out how to beat him at his own game someday.
~
He pauses in the hallway, seeing Danny and Zay talking into a camera. He steps backward, trying to avoid getting in the way of filming, trying not to set Danny off on one of his bitch fests, but then Danny notices him.
“Oh, hey,” he says, looking Yuta up and down. “You looking to get on camera?”
“I’m looking,” Yuta says, frowning at the way he can feel Danny scrutinize every part of him, “to get to my locker room.”
“Nope,” Danny says, grinning. “Gotta be on camera. This is vlog only territory.”
“Would – just let me walk through!” Yuta resists the urge to hit Danny with his belt. Especially with Isiah right there, it feels like a two on one is a bad move right now. “I have to get to the rooms.” He shoots Isiah a look of mild panic, but Zay just smiles at him an shrugs. Yuta can read it in his eyes: it’d be easier if you just did it.
Danny grins. “All you gotta do is say hi to the camera.”
“I don’t want to say hi so you can make fun of me afterwards,” Yuta grumbles. “Whatever. I’ll just go another direction.”
He’s braced for it when Danny yells, “I’ll get you on one of these eventually!”
Yuta rolls his eyes. Last word again.
~
“Can you stop yelling?” Yuta asks, and he’s man enough to admit that it’s more of a whine than words. “It’s a hotel lobby, not a bar.”
“You’d be a lot less annoying if you’d come with us to a bar,” Danny says, flashing white teeth over at Yuta. “What are you even doing?”
“I’m leaving the gym, like a responsible adult,” Yuta retorts. “Where are you two going?”
“Bar. Clubs.” Danny does his stupid little hip thrust while Isiah laughs in the background, eyes locked on the way Danny’s hips move. “Gonna get everybody worked up with these hips.”
“Yeah, you are,” Zay murmurs.
“Oh, god,” Yuta sighs. “I’m leaving. This is hell.”
“You’re a killjoy, Yuta!” Danny yells after him. “Have some fun for once.”
Yuta convinces himself it’s not worth it. Whether he’s talking about the club or firing back at Danny, he’s not sure.
~
He frowns at the photo. The lighting still isn’t at the level he wants it, and all the pumping he’d done before the shot didn’t do as much as he’d hoped.
“Damn it,” he grumbles.
It takes fifteen attempts. None of the angles make his relatively flat ass pop, his abs aren’t doing exactly what he wants them to do. He sighs. “Damn it,” he grumbles.
He shoots a text off to Mox for quality control.
This pic ok? I hate it.
In the back of his mind as he pulls on sweatpants, he muses on the weirdness of his life that he can text one of his childhood heroes a nude for quality control. And how much weirder it is that that person may also show two other wrestling legends the photo for their opinion. And he’s okay with it.
He shakes his head and flops onto his hotel room bed. His life is truly more than he could have expected, in all directions.
When he hears the ring for a FaceTime call, he answers it without thinking.
“You know you have, like, no ass, right?”
Yuta stares at the phone. “What the fuck?”
“That nude you just sent me,” Danny replies. “You have no ass. It’s sad, really.”
Yuta doesn’t know how long it takes him to process what Danny’s said. “What?”
Danny grins. “The full body nude in the mirror? I’d call it tasteful, but you look like a whore.” He shrugs. Yuta hates when he looks this full of himself. “So I guess it’s slutty. Congratulations. You’ve developed a personality.”
Yuta doesn’t answer – he’s too busy staring, horrified, at where he’d sent the photo to Danny instead of Mox. “Fuck.”
“Yeah,” Danny says. “Wasn’t meant for me, was it?”
“Meant for Mox,” Yuta mutters. He looks at Danny, trying to level him with the best glare he can manage. “Delete it.”
“Why?”
“Because it wasn’t meant for you!” Yuta’s shrieking now. God, only fucking Garcia. “Get rid of it?”
“What if I want to look at it?” Danny asks.
“Why,” Yuta asks, trying to keep himself from jumping through the screen and throttling Danny, “would you want to look at it?”
Danny shrugs. “Sorry for being into hot guys or whatever.” He grins. “Can I show Zay? He’s got a thing for your abs.”
Yuta watches himself go from pissed to interested in the little window of his phone. “He does?”
Danny nods. “Zay! Come here!”
“Don’t – leave him out of this!”
“Zay, come look at this.”
“What?” Isiah’s face pops into frame. “Oh, hey, Yuta.” Then he focuses in on the screen. “Oh shit. That’s full dick right there.”
“Oh my god,” Yuta says, dropping his head into his hands. “Please delete it, Danny.”
“I will,” Danny says, “but you should know, it’s a good shot. You can’t do anything about a medical case of pancake ass, but the cum gutters make up for it.”
“Your chest looks wild,” Isiah comments. “Gonna have to give me some of those pec workouts.”
“This is the worst phone call of my life,” Yuta mutters. He should hang up. He should shut the phone down. “It’s really not bad?”
“Pancake ass is completely forgivable when you got your arms like that so I can see your torso,” Zay says. “Also.” He lets out a low whistle. “Packing some serious heat, Yuta. Damn.”
“Shut up,” Yuta says, rolling his eyes.
“It’s probably warm in the hotel room,” Danny muses. “I’ve seen him in colder locker rooms and his dick is way less impressive.”
“Why are we talking about my dick?!”
“Because you sent me a nude and I’m going to look,” Danny says. He looks directly at the camera and Yuta has to fight himself not to look away. Danny breaks the digital eye contact first and looks up at Isiah, with an interesting little smile on his lips. “Hey, Zay?” He flutters his eyelashes. Kind of. Kind of like…
Yuta’s brain can’t finish the sentence.
“I’m way ahead of you, baby,” Isiah says.
Yuta blinks. He’s a few steps behind. He knows he is.
“Earth to Yuta,” Isiah says. “You having a crisis or something?”
“No?” Yuta says. “What? Are you two together?”
Danny snorts. “Jesus. Yeah. Duh? Have you seen Zay’s vlog?”
Yuta has. Specifically to see Danny, which is something he will absolutely not admit. “Yeah, but I thought – I figured that was for views or something.”
Danny snorts. “I do a lot of shit for views, but sexually frustrating Zay is all for me.” He grins.
Yuta licks his lips before he can stop himself. “Cool.” That’s his choice of word to respond. Cool. He’s going to go throw himself into the hotel pool and hope to turn into a fish. Fish don’t have to deal with awkward situations.
“You’re still here, aren’t you,” Danny says. His eyes flicker up to Zay, who nods. “You should come to our room.”
The words slowly sink in and settle. “Are you hitting on me?”
Danny shrugs and leans back in the chair. He’s shirtless. Yuta hadn’t realized he was shirtless.
He notices, also, Zay is too.
“You sent me a nude,” Danny says. “I figured if anything that would be considered the first move.”
“It wasn’t on purpose,” Yuta says, but there’s less insistence in his voice. “Fuck it. Are you two seriously hitting on me, or is this a joke?”
“It’s serious,” Zay says, popping his head into the screen. “I’ve seen how you and Danny wrestle. Tell me you haven’t thought about fucking him.”
Yuta rolls his eyes. “I think about fucking everybody I wrestle, practically.” It’s apparently a weird thing to say based on Zay’s eyebrows. “What? You don’t?”
“I do,” Danny jumps in. “But most of those people don’t, you know. Send me pictures of their dick and cum gutters on a random Saturday night, so.” His eyes go just the tiniest bit soft. “Are you, like, on the way over here or…?” The suggestion, then anticipation, hang in the air.
“Goddamnit,” Yuta says, sighing. “What’s your room number? This is a terrible idea.”
“Love how you’re already regretting it,” Danny says with an eye roll. But a text pops through to Yuta with the room number in it.
With a glance toward where his intended pajamas rest on the hotel chair, he sighs. “Yeah. Uh. I’ll see you two in a few, okay?”
“See you soon, big boy.”
Yuta really is regretting it now that he’s seen Danny try to wink.
After dressing in what he hopes are appropriate booty call clothes, Yuta checks himself in the mirror before he leaves. His hair’s a mess, still wet from the shower. It was a good idea, at the time – a dripping wet shot, muscles still pumped from the matches. Now it feels like a lot.
He rubs his hand through his hair and walks toward the door, trying to force himself to reconsider this. It’s a bad idea. A really bad idea. Zay vlogs everything and Danny doesn’t know how to shut up.
Then again, he realizes as he slides on his shoes, he hadn’t known Zay and Danny were actually together until they told him.
Maybe they can be discrete.
He looks up and down the hallway as he gets to the elevator. He’s not sure who else is on his floor other than Bryan, who yelled at him for taking the elevator earlier that day, and he doesn’t want to be caught. Luckily, the coast is clear.
He presses the button for Danny and Zay’s floor and begins thinking up excuses for if someone he knows spots him. He’s going to the gym. He’s getting a drink from the hotel bar. It’s none of your business, Trent, go fuck yourself.
He thinks he’s got plenty in his arsenal as the doors open, but he’s in front of the room without interference before he knows it.
He knocks. He waits. He freaks out a little.
And then the door opens.
“Hey,” Zay says, effortlessly cool. Yuta may be willing to admit he’s had a crush for quite some time. But not to anyone but himself, and not until this moment.
Yuta steps in and sees Danny stretched out on the bed. It feels almost too real now, like everything up until this second was a game and now he’s all in.
He swallows. Danny looks up.
“Oh, you showed up!” Danny looks genuinely excited. He throws his phone somewhere among the pillows in the king sized bed and sits up. “Alright. Show us the goods.”
“Fuck,” Yuta says, barking out a laugh before he can stop himself, “no romance about it?”
Danny shrugs. He shuffles down the bed, legs splayed, arms behind his head. Yuta’s eyes lock on the grin. “Do I need romance to get you over here?”
Yuta stares at him. And stares. “Hold on,” he says, “before we go into this, I thought you hated me.”
Danny shakes his head. “Nah. You’re just easy to rile up, is all. And you look hot when you’re angry.”
Yuta rolls his eyes. “Jesus Christ. You’re awful.”
“Yeah, but you love it.”
This is usually, Yuta realizes, where Danny would walk away with the last word. It’s usually where he himself gives up and walks away because he knows the argument will go on for hours if he doesn’t.
But Danny’s in front of him, grinning up at him from the mussed sheets of the bed.
He startles a little when he feels a hand rest on his waist. Zay pulls back.
“Sorry,” Zay says, and Yuta hadn’t known his voice could get that gentle. “You okay?”
“Yeah,” Yuta says, willing himself to relax. “Yeah, just – didn’t expect to be here tonight, you know?”
Danny’s still smiling. It’s unfair, how comfortable he looks. How at peace in his body as he looks up at Yuta. “That’s okay, if you’re nervous,” Danny says. “We can take care of you.”
Zay snorts.
“Don’t be a bitch,” Danny grumbles.
“I’m – look, it’s just funny with you saying you’ll take care of somebody when you’re already all spread out in front of us.” Zay walks around Yuta, trailing his fingers along Yuta’s waist, and he sits on the bed. “You wanna take care of Danny, Yuta?”
This – it’s not uncharted territory, exactly. He and Mox and Claudio and Bryan have done…similar things in different permutations of each other, but he’s not usually the leader there. Usually, he gets a little more guidance.
He’s not used to having the reins. He kind of likes it.
“Depends,” Yuta says, his voice barely a murmur. “What do you want, Danny?”
Danny sits up, and there’s that insufferable, pretty little pout. “What do you think?”
“I mean,” Yuta says, “I figured, since you invited me over, you’d have an idea.”
Danny shrugs.
Frustration flares the anxiety building in Yuta’s chest, a catalyst for something a little unkind. “Jesus – you usually never shut up, and now you’re making me talk?”
“I don’t – what is wrong with you?”
“What’s wrong with you?” Yuta asks. He notices Danny’s – he’s crawling toward him, sort of, on the bed. “You hit on me and tell me to come over and you don’t even know what you want from me?”
Danny groans. “You are terrible at picking up vibes.” He leans in and, before Yuta can process it, Danny’s kissing him. He yanks him down and falls to the bed, bracing himself with an arm, and then Danny’s in his lap and his hands are in Yuta’s hair and they’re kissing.
It’s almost automatic. Yuta’s hands go to Danny’s ass and haul him in closer, well aware of Zay’s eyes on them, and decides to do what he does best: perform.
Danny’s easy to get moaning, hands on his hips, grabbing his ass, licking into his mouth. Eventually, he turns his head, panting against Yuta’s neck. “Zay,” he manages, “Zay, Yuta’s really good at kissing.”
Yuta glances over to see Zay grinning. “I can see that.”
“I hate it,” Danny whines. He turns back to Yuta. “Why the fuck do you have to be good at everything?”
Yuta levels Danny with what Bryan calls his little shit smile. “Don’t you like it, though?”
Danny groans and leans in, crushing his mouth to Yuta’s, knocking the two of them over. Danny’s maddening with how quickly he goes after Yuta’s clothes.
“Easy, baby,” Zay chuckles. “Let me have a chance, damn.”
Yuta manages to pull his mouth away from Danny’s, but he just locks his mouth on Yuta’s neck instead of leaning back. “Is he always like this?”
Zay shrugs. “Kind of.” He leans in and kisses Yuta, and it’s so different from Danny that it’s almost whiplash. There’s a lot going on all at once – Yuta’s brain is turning to mush before long – and at some point they’re all naked and Zay’s hand is on his dick and Yuta’s mouth is on Danny’s dick.
“God, why are you good at this, too?” Danny whimpers, slowly stroking Zay. It’s almost lazy. Yuta’s kind of disappointed because he himself is going all out. He swirls his tongue around Danny’s dick and Danny’s hips twitch. “Zay, I hate him.”
Yuta pulls off with a pop. “It’s weird you insult me this much,” Yuta says. “Especially since I’m pretty sure you’re about to beg me to fuck you.”
“I wasn’t!” Danny says. Yuta glances at Zay, who is clearly fighting a laugh as he stares at Danny. “Shut up, Zay, you’re making this worse.”
Yuta gets to watch as Zay works Danny open. He’s respectful of all of them – keeps his hand off of his dick other than the occasional stroke while Zay fucks Danny into oblivion with his fingers.
“Usually,” Isiah says casually, “I don’t take this much time, because Danny’s a glutton for punishment, but I figure since you’re a new dick I should be a little more careful with him.” He leans down and kisses Danny’s spine, so gently it makes Yuta’s heart hurt a little bit. “Right, baby? We’re gonna be sweet to you tonight.”
Danny nods and turns his face, beaming at Yuta. “You’re not as big as Zay,” he says, and the tone makes it feel less like an insult, “but I think you’re thicker, right?”
“I think so too, baby,” Zay says. “Gotta take care of you.”
“Can I?” Yuta asks. He presses his lips together, unsure of how to ask. “Are you sure I – you want me to?”
“Hell yeah,” Danny says. “We practically hate fuck in the ring every time we wrestle. I can only guess this is gonna be fucking amazing.”
Yuta watches Zay gently pull his fingers from Danny, stroking one pad of the finger over his hole to see Danny push backward against him. “You ready?”
Yuta nods as he rolls on the condom. “I’m ready. Do you want me to…?” He looks down at Zay’s dick.
Zay grins. “Well, I got some ideas for what we can do, but not right now.” He nods to Danny. “He wants your dick, doesn’t he.”
Danny nods. “Get to it, Yuta.”
“I can’t believe you’re being such a bitch when I’m about to fuck you,” Yuta grumbles. But he lines himself up and waits. “Are you sure –”
“Will you stop acting like I haven’t been planning this for months?” Danny interrupts. He spreads his legs and lays down on his stomach, ass in the air. “Fuck me.”
Yuta’s entire brain blanks when he slides into Danny. He’d be lying if he said he’s never had this idea in his head before, if he said that he didn’t imagine the way Danny’s body would feel under him when they weren’t wrestling. He glances over to Zay who nods.
“Give it to him,” he says, voice low. “He wants it. I swear.” His eyes flicker to Danny.
“We’ve talked about it,” Danny says, rolling his hips to take more of Yuta inside of him. “A lot. It – it gets me off every time.”
“I can’t believe you decided to insult me all this time instead of asking me to fuck you,” Yuta says through gritted teeth. “You’re impossible.”
He moves, slowly, carefully, until Danny’s pulling his hips back and meeting Yuta’s thrusts, encouraging him to speed up. It’s too fucking good.
“Shit,” Zay says. Yuta spares a second to glance next to him, where Zay is standing next to the bed, naked with his hand on his dick. He strokes slowly, eyes locked on Danny’s face. “You look so good, Danny. Never gotten to see you from this angle before.”
Danny grins over at him. “Can I – can I…” He trails off and drops his head to look down at Zay’s dick, then slowly drags his gaze back up to Zay’s face.
Yuta pulls out of Danny for the quickest of moments to let Danny adjust on his hands and knees, and then Danny shifts his hips back so Yuta can sink into his heat again.
“There you go, baby,” Zay murmurs. Yuta stills as he watches as Zay slowly feeds Danny his dick. He wishes he could get a good look at Danny’s face. He thinks it would be incredible. “That okay?”
Danny nods and, to Yuta’s amused horror, starts speaking around Zay’s cock. He laughs in spite of himself with a hand on Danny’s hip.
“What?” Zay asks, pulling back.
“I said, ‘honestly, you could go deeper’,” Danny says.
“And you thought it made sense to talk with my dick in your mouth?” Zay asks. He meets Yuta’s bewildered look with one of his own.
Danny shrugs. “I’m getting a fantasy fulfilled. Let me live.”
“I – whatever.”
“Good to know he’s like that with everybody,” Yuta says, circling his hips.
“Goes for you, too.”
“What does?” Yuta asks.
“You can go deeper,” Danny says. He throws a look over his shoulder that kind of makes Yuta want to strangle him. “Gimme all of what I saw in that sext, Yoots.”
“It wasn’t a sext,” Yuta says, but he does push all the way into Danny’s willing body. Danny sighs as he opens up for him, shifting his hips to adjust again, and it’s a lot. “It – it was an accidental text or whatever.”
Something about the moment resonates. The three of them lose the ability to speak.
“Fuck,” Yuta says, after a day or an hour or a minute. He’s struggling enough to keep it together as it is, but when he locks eyes with Zay he can feel his resolve failing. “Fuck, Danny, how close are you?”
Danny reaches up a hand to flip him off.
“Oh. Right. Dick in your mouth.”
“He’s close,” Zay says. “I can tell – he’s not taking me as deep anymore but he’s going wild on your dick.” He nods. “Grab his. He’ll like it.”
“You want to come?” Yuta asks. “You can.”
Danny makes a muffled sound through a mouthful of Zay’s cock, and Yuta has to force some of the control Bryan and Mox have taught him to not lose it right there. He leans forward, shifting the angle in a way that gets Danny moaning around Zay, and wraps a hand around his cock. Danny turns his head and gasps.
“Please,” he whines, “I wanna come.”
“You can,” Zay says. He strokes his cock wildly. “Come, baby. All over him. I wanna see how pretty you look with Yuta’s dick in your ass.” Zay meets Yuta’s eyes as he continues. “Rough. Fast. It’s how he likes it.”
Yuta does so, never breaking eye contact, and he feels as Danny comes. But what really gets him is watching Zay come all over Danny’s face.
That’s it. No amount of training or BCC bullshit could have stopped Yuta from shoving himself so deep inside Danny he’ll get locked there forever and coming his sanity away.
“Jesus,” Zay mutters.
Yuta shakes his head and comes back. Zay is running a thumb across Danny’s face. “Does he look good covered in come?”
“He sure does,” Zay chuckles.
Yuta pulls out, as slowly and carefully as possible, and releases what apparently had been an iron grip on Danny’s hips by the way Danny falls onto the bed. He rolls over. “Goddamn,” Yuta says. “You wait right here, baby.” On impulse, he leans down and kisses Danny’s cheek, getting a little bit of Zay’s come on his lips. He licks it off and turns to Zay.
“You can’t just do shit like that.” Zay leans over Danny and yanks him in for an aggressive kiss, one Yuta would expect from Claudio or Mox but not from Zay.
“Fuck, okay,” Yuta says when he pulls back. He blinks himself back into focus. “Damn. Hold on. Let me get something to help clean up Danny.”
He ties off and throws away the condom as he runs the water warm. He wipes himself up first, then brings two more towels back.
“Here,” he says, gently wiping down Danny’s face. “You feeling okay?” He grabs the other towel and mops up his belly.
“You’re so much nicer after you’ve gotten laid,” Danny mumbles. It’s a marvel he manages to be this bitchy covered in come and fucked out, but Yuta shouldn’t be surprised.
“Wish I could say the same for you,” Yuta laughs. He taps at Danny’s hip and Danny turns over. Yuta feels Zay’s eyes on him as he cleans up the last of the lube and some stray come that dripped down from Danny’s cock. “You’re still as much of a bitch as ever.”
“He really is,” Zay says. He steps backward and stumbles.
“You good?” Yuta asks. He tosses the towels to the side and gets comfortable sitting up against the headboard.
Zay nods. “Yeah, just tripped over your phone.” He picks it up. “Show me that nude of yours again.”
“You saw all of me naked in person!” Yuta laughs, but he unlocks it anyway.
“Yeah we did,” Danny says, grinning. He grabs the phone from Yuta’s hands. “Yeah. You look good here.”
“Weren’t you gonna text the picture to Mox in the first place?” Zay asks. His eyes are soft and content as ever as he pulls on a pair of sweats from the floor. “Send it, Danny.”
“No!” Yuta dives over Danny, pinning him to the bed again as he grabs his phone back from Danny’s hands. He blushes. He’s not sure why. He was inside Danny, like, five minutes ago. “Give it back.”
“I’m just saying,” Zay says. He drapes himself over Danny and Yuta like it’s nothing. Like this is how they always are. “What’s stopping you now?”
Yuta sighs. “I was planning to send it to him to see if it was a good enough nude,” he admits.
“Good enough for what?”
“For – for being a nude, what else?” Yuta asks. He shoves Zay off of him, but then Danny’s on top of him and he’s lost that battle again.
Danny sighs. “I think Zay was hoping that nude was an accidentally on purpose situation.” He grins. Yuta pokes at a bruise he’d left on Danny’s collarbone, but it backfires when Danny closes his eyes and moans, every so slightly. “Since you’ve been flirting with me for years.”
“I have not,” Yuta says. He shifts so Danny’s got his face toward Yuta’s, but still on his chest. “What? I haven’t been flirting with you.”
“So every time we’ve yelled at each other,” Danny says, frowning, “that wasn’t flirting?”
“I – it wasn’t supposed to be.” Yuta thinks back. In the moment, he’d thought each moment was combat, was Danny trying to prove how much better he was. But now… “Holy shit, you’ve been flirting with me like a fucking dick the whole time.”
“I thought you were flirting back!” Danny says. “I thought that was, like, your vibe with the BCC.” He scoots up, and Yuta’s entire chest feels tight as Danny snuggles into his side.
“I figured that was you being bitter about not being BCC or something,” Yuta says, and he trails his fingertips up and down Danny’s back. His chest tightens again when Danny sighs against his skin. “I always thought you’d be more obvious about it if you were flirting.”
“I constantly brought up sex,” Danny mutters. “I felt like that was obvious enough.”
“That is a fair point.” Yuta looks over at Zay who smiles and nods. Yuta tilts Danny’s chin up and kisses him, soft. It’s different from before. It feels right.
“Maybe now he’ll stop talking about you so much,” Zay says. “He never shuts up about you, dude. Yuta this, Yuta that.” He reaches down and pinches lightly at the skin on Danny’s arm. Danny bats him away.
“Do not,” Danny mumbles. He rolls over Yuta until he’s draped across both of them.
“You definitely do, baby, but it’s cute.” Zay leans up and kisses Danny, and Yuta doesn’t feel jealous.
“Can we do this again next week?” Danny asks. “Or, like, any week we’re all at the same place. Whatever.” He’s wiggled in between Yuta and Zay, looking immensely cozy.
“Zay?” Yuta asks. “Does he add ‘whatever’ whenever he’s asking for something he really wants?”
Zay laughs, eyes crinkling and smile skipping a heartbeat in Yuta’s chest. “Yeah. Yeah, he does.”
“Shut up,” Danny whines. “This is bullying. You two are bullying me.”
Yuta decides to let Danny have the last word this time. But he makes sure the words are well and truly done with a kiss to Danny’s lips.

Danny in ghost form is in the Zone for some reason and the portal opens and as he goes through it, he loses his powers. They're still there but he just can't reach them. He lands in a heap somewhere in the MCU with a thermos and an ectogun.
Surviving on the streets until he gets picked up by Nat and Clint. Danny being a little shit with answering questions.
The two find the unknown weapon and directly ask him, still unsure he just says that they're his parent’s weapons.
SHIELD reverse engineers the technology, Danny finds out that there are alternate versions of his Rouge Gallery attacking randomly.
Still pissed off that his powers aren't responding (it's been months at this point) he helps SHIELD with the weapons, kind of employed as an Ecto-Weapon and Entity Advisor. He gets brought into the field, but he's NOT allowed to fight. He promised Nat and Clint.
His own Rouge Gallery is concerned, they can’t find him. His friends and sister can’t find him and his parents keep believing in the excuses they're given.
On the side, Danny keeps catalogs of the ghosts he’s familiar with and brand new ones he's never seen before.
Skulker finds him first. His sensors picking his ecto-signature up right on the other side of a portal that appeared. He flies through to find Danny on a roof top looking out over a fight. So usual greeting. Danny tries to fight, but again still can't get his powers to work. Skulker notices and spouts something that hunting him isn't fair and starts asking questions. Nat shows up and now has evidence of him holding back information.
Skulker fights his imposter. Then flees to the Zone and spreads the word about the imposters.
Eventually Dani shows up and Danny has to dodge questions on why he was cloned. Dani also doesn't have access to her powers which is a little more concerning, she's not destabilizing...yet.
The known rouge gallery gets to Danny's location in the middle of an invasion where the Avengers and other SHEILD agents are struggling to hold their own. Danny is on a roof top to overlook everyone. Then, he gets pushed by someone over the edge. He transforms just in time to prevent himself from splatting on the ground. He gets all his powers back and fully functional and beats all the enemies to be caught.
Now, he’s got to explain everything. Working fully with SHIELD (Skulker, Technus. and Stark) to build a functional, safer portal so he can get home. Telling them to destroy it afterwards so they don't get an Amity Situation. Do they listen?
He and his Rouge Gallery +Dani arrive back to the Fenton Lab, kind of in shock. Dani grabs an arrow and bow (taught by Clint) from the massive quiver that Technus has and aims it. Danny turns cautiously to her, keeping his sight front and plucks both individually from her and places them back in the quiver. No idea what they saw.

This is 100% pandering for probably me :')
I am absolutely feral for Simon, and Steve is 100% the kinda guy to have friends (well he doesn't think of them as friends because Steve doesn't have friends, but Danny is working on that with him) all over the world, and if they need help? He's got your back :)
---------------
They all drive on the wrong side of the road here.
It's the first thing Simon thinks when he steps out of the airport, duffel bag readjusted as he scans the cars coming in and out of the pick up zone. The heat isn't as suffocating as it was back home, the Australian almost wondering if he was going to need some sort of sweater when a silver camaro pulls up just in front of him.
"Always on time eh?" The taller man who piles out of the car just chuckles, moving to help scoop up the other bags piled behind where Simon had been standing up and into the luggage rack attached on top.
"Pretty sure my commanding officer would appear from thin air if I wasn't."
"Probably not, but thanks all the same, McGarrett."
"Don't mention it. Come on, my place isn't far and you look like you need a day to just blackout."
"Tell me about it mate." Simon climbed into the passenger seat, sinking back with a relieved groan. "Forgot how much I hate flying."
"Well, you're not going anywhere anytime soon, so no more worries for now." The SEAL slipped back into the driver's seat after making sure everything was secured, and soon the duo were driving out and into the island after some minor traffic.
"Mate, the pictures you've sent don't do this place justice." Simon whistled, taking in the area while digging out his phone to take a short video. Steve just smiled to himself while turning on the radio, the occasional crow from the Aussie beside him breaking the amicable silence between them.
"Do you mind if I swing by work to grab something real quick?" Finally distracted with taking videos and pictures, Simon glanced over with a shrug.
“I’m not bitin’ to go anywhere, s’long as we can get some brekkie afterwards.”
“It’s 14:00, but I know a few people who can hook you up, my treat.”
“That’ll work.” Simon’s back popped a little bit as he stretched, eyeing some of the older buildings with an interested hum. The police department they pull up to is no different, Steve pausing for a moment when Simon got out alongside him. “Need to stretch is all.”
“C’mon, you can meet the gang.”
“Is your Danno bloke there?” Simon grinned, catching the way Steve’s head jerked in surprise. “What?”
“He’s not my Danno…” The SEAL grumbled as they headed up and into the building, the Aussie eyeing the station up and amused to find it wasn’t too different from his own once you stepped inside. Desks from 1975, coffee machines that barely ran as such, and desk chairs that probably needed to have been thrown out ages ago, Simon shakes his head in amusement as Steve takes him into an area that was finally part of modern times. He can see a small group huddled around some sort of central monitor station, a shorter blonde man waving his arms around while he explains something Simon can’t quite catch until they’re within range.
“Did I miss something?” Steve interrupted the blonde, who shot him an annoyed look before catching sight of Simon.
“Yes you did, and who is this?” The accent made Simon smile a bit, and he stepped forward with a wave.
“You’re Danno right?” The look Danno shot Steve would have sent just about anyone running, but the other just smiles a bit before heading for his office while pulling out his phone.
“Detective Danny Williams. So, c’mon, name.” Danny waved for Simon to speak, clearly sizing the Aussie up. Simon doesn’t get a chance to open his mouth before the woman beside Danny nudged his side hard enough to make the Jersey detective grunt.
"Before he hogs all the attention, I'm Officer Kono Kalakaua." Kono grinned, offering a hand to give Simon a firm handshake. "And that's my cuz Chin."
"Lieutenant Chin Ho Kelly." The men across the table gave a small wave, and Simon clocked him as probably one of the calmer team members. "Nice to meet you."
"Likewise, I've heard only good things about you lot." Simon waved back, aware that Danny was still staring at him. "Detective Senior Constable Simon Joyner, nice to meet ya.” Simon flashes his biggest smile, and the grumpy blonde softens just a fraction.
For a moment blonde hair turns black, pale skin sunkissed, and Simon can let himself be selfish for a moment before the familiar image fades in the blink of an eye.
“Fancy title, but nice to see another cop ‘round here. Four of us might finally outrank the super SEAL, which I’m curious to know exactly how you know him?” Danny crossed his arms as he leaned back against the monitor, the movement more relaxed rather than cautionary.
“Uh, well I nearly ran over ‘im when he and some of his buddies were celebratin’ something.” Simon let out a slightly embarrassed laugh, noting quite a few eyes looking over at Steve in his office, the man looking slightly confused at all the looks as he spoke on the phone. “Stevie remembered me, tracked me down somehow, and treated me to drinks as thanks for making sure he and his lot got back to their hotel.”
“Stevie? Since when can anyone call him Stevie, because I sure as hell can’t call him Stevie.” Danny complained, earning a few chuckles from the other two who had been watching most of this in amusement.
"Didn't know he was one of them fancy American soldiers, and we just kept in touch after that." Simon hummed, stretching a little bit with a slight wince.
"So are you visiting then?"
“Uh, sorta?” Simon shrugged, “Always been meanin’ to catch up with Stevie, and nows a time as any.”
“In the middle of the holiday season?” Chin asked, and luckily Steve exited his office before Simon could squirm in discomfort.
“Simon, I’m ready to head out if you are.” The Aussie nodded, noting some files tucked under Steve’s arm. “Call if you guys need me.”
“Will do, now off with you.” Danny made a shooing motion. “Poor kid looks like he’s about to drop.”
“‘M not a kid…” Simon groused, but gave a cheerful wave as he and Steve headed back to the car, fighting back a few yawns. The island state was beautiful enough to keep the Australian alert enough as they eventually pulled to the stop outside a modest little home, Simon pilling out and glancing around with a low whistle.
“You’re set up here mate.”
“It’s nothing special.” Steve shrugged, grabbing the carry-on luggage. “I’ve got the guest bed set up, room has an attached shower.”
“Don’t mind if I do.” Simon grabbed whatever was left before following Steve inside, figuring he’d get the rest of his stuff later. “You lot need to worry about spiders here?”
“Uh a little bit, not as bad as what you’re used to.” Steve watched as Simon set his shoes upside down by the door before scanning the floor, quietly glad they didn’t have as much deadly wildlife here at home. The guest room was a decent size, the queen bed dressed with fresh sheets and a newly assembled set of dressers tucked in the corner. “If we need more let me know, and I’ll go pick up an extra set.”
“Nah I can make it work, this is too much already mate.” Simon dumped his backpack on the bed, clearly blown away by the generosity.
“Hey, I get it.” The meaning hung heavy in the air as Simon kept his eyes on the floor, and was glad that Steve was not one to press. “Need a drink or anything?”
“No, I’m fine.” He manages to scrounge up a strangled thing of a smile, and Steve places the two suitcases he’d carried in by the door before vanishing without a sound, the door closing with a soft click. Simon wastes no time pulling out a fresh set out lounge clothes and his travel bag before retreating to the bathroom.
The warm water did it’s job washing away the weariness of travel, and for a good minute Simon looks out the window that slowly fogs up, the crashing waves a small comfort. It’s not like back home, not the same sounds of Bondi that had filled many a happy afternoon, not what he heard with a certain kis-
Simon curses and flicks the water so it’s cold, and the sea vanishes behind the condensation as he finishes his shower and shuts the water off. He’s trembling a little when he dries off and slips on his comfort clothes, throwing his phone to charge on the bedside table before crawling under the sheets.
The waves are the last thing he hears before exhaustion finally takes hold, a blinding smile flashing in his mind's eye before Simon drifts into a dreamless sleep.

hi!! first things first, I just wanted to say I love your shell-shocked au. It's genuinely the best thing I've ever seen in either fandom/gen
and I have a few questions, if you don't mind. if some aren't answerable due to spoilers, I completely understand
What are raph and the uncles feelings over the fact the rise gang having to fight somewhat more extreme enemies then they did at their age? Such as the more terrifying kraang or a literal demonic shredder.
Kind of an add on to the last one, how do they feel about the leon-prison dimension thing?
Will there be a usagi? If so, what will they be like?
How is Rise April (possibly) implemented?
Did mikey teach leon about puns?
I hope you have a great day!
Aww thank you so much!! I love hearing how much people love my little plot bunny of an au!!
As for your questions!!
1. When demon Shredder finally makes an appearance Raph, Mona and the Uncle want to keep the boys as far away from Shredder as possible. By that point Uncle Yagi (Lou) has joined the group and Gram Gram has already helped the fam in mystic training; they are quite literally the only ones that can take a stand and make a difference in the fight. And Raph is facing his biggest fear of having his kids face something he and his brothers should be facing; unintentionally repeating his own fathers short comings in a way.
2. Kraang wise I have the angst filled idea that the communicator doesn’t cut out and both Mona and Raph keep getting cut ins of Kraang and his monologue towards Leon. It’s the worst 5 minutes of their lives and they definitely keep their sons on house arrest after they get back. Not like the kids want to leave their parents side afterwards anyways.
3. Unfortunately I don’t have any plans to add Usagi into the au but if I did it’d definitely be through the traditional cross dimensional shenanigans thanks to Danny!
4. Rise April goes by April O’Hara in the au and gets caught up in the turtles mischief around the age of 12! I won’t go further as I like the idea I have for her meeting the boys and wanna keep that under wraps till then!
5. Uncle Mikey definitely got Leon started on puns but it’s Uncle Leo that keeps him going. The two generally have a little pun war post training everyday or so, the two can trade puns back and forth. Raph doesn’t know whether to bust his head against the wall or be grateful that Leo is finally able to crack a joke after all these years of depression and angst!

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Day No. 2, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, Sept. 30, 2023
Leyla McCalla controls the weather.
An overcast day in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park suddenly turned sun-soaked when the former Carolina Chocolate Drop sang: My face to the sun as she performed Our Native Daughters’ “I Knew I Could Fly” during her Sept. 30 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass set on the Towers of Gold Stage.
“That’s awesome,” she said mid-verse as the Earth’s star emerged from the afternoon clouds.
Tumblr media
Following the electric and steel guitar instrumentals of Hermanos Gutiérrez on the adjacent Swan stage and playing cello, banjo and electric guitar, backed with rhythm section and electric guitar, McCalla covered Kendrick Lamar’s “Crown” and offered a gumbo of New Orleanian, Haitian and American music delivered in English and Haitian Creole while showcasing her the Capitalist Blues and Breaking the Thermometer LPs.
Tumblr media
The Sound Biteses’ day had begun in the pre-noon fog with the down-in-the-holler, old-time string music of Dry Branch Fire Squad playing the songs of Gillian Welch, Doc Watson and Bill Monroe on the Banjo stage. Later, it was gospel from the McCrary Sisters, who sung Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground,” “Amazing Grace” and other numbers backed by a full band during short, five- to 15-minute sets on the Rooster stage, where Brennan Leigh offered a lunchtime menu of traditional country music.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was also on the Rooster that Emmylou Harris previewed her Sunday appearance by guesting with Shawn Camp and Verlon Thompson and closing their Doc Watson tribute set with Guy Clark’s “Old Friends.”
Tumblr media
Shortly afterward, Bettye LaVette sauntered onstage to deliver her grinding version of Bob Dylan’s “Things Have Changed.” From here, it was an impassioned reading of songs from the Randall Bramblett-written LaVette! album as the singer prowled the stage and proved her 77 years have cost her nothing in vocal prowess and stage presence.
Tumblr media
“If I could write, this is what I would have said,” LaVette said in introducing the new songs, which worked better on stage than on wax.
Rickie Lee Jones attracted a ginormous crowd to Banjo - “I haven’t seen so many people in front of me for so long,” she said, soaking it in - and their enthusiasm rubbed off. Jones, whose band included Vilray on guitar and vocals, plus accordion and bass, was animated as she danced around the stage and crooned like a lounge singer when she wasn’t playing guitar, banjo or piano.
Tumblr media
Opening with a radically rearranged “Danny’s All-Star Joint” more suited for the streets of New Orleans than the fields of Golden Gate, Jones went on to perform “I Won’t Grow Up” - for the first time, she said - “Last Chance Texaco,” “We Belong Together” and a sinewy rendition of Steely Dan’s “Show Biz Kids” that found Jones lifting her orange sweater to sing of the Rickie Lee T-shirt beneath.
Give RLJ the MVP for turning in HSB No. 2’s No. 1 gig.
Tumblr media
Faced with the quintessential festivalgoers’ dilemma, Mr. and Mrs. Sound Bites split the last hour between Steve Earle’s uncharacteristically sleepy solo-acoustic set on the Banjo and Irma Thomas’ barnburner R&B/soul revival at the Rooster.
Tumblr media
At 82, Thomas played the day’s most rambunctious set, ripping into “Time is on My Side” and getting the audience bouncing and waving their handkerchiefs on her mashup of “I Done Got Over It” -> “Iko Iko” -> “Hey Pocky Way” -> “I Done Got Over It.” That one might be ringing through Golden Gate’s trees along with the birdsong for some time to come.

Tell me more about rage against the dying of the light please!!!
Oh my dear!!! <3333 Thanks for the ask, first of all! Second - this is my absolute favorite position on the list, even though I hardly have 10 pages.
Some time ago I started to think up a character - Gabriel "Roots" Rothenberg. I knew how he looked like, I knew what and how he was. I started to put him into different scenarios, like one does with an OC. And one day a scenario came to my mind about a kinda-medieval thing, with him being in the army (near-border watch sorta thing), in a world where the kingdom he hails from is at war with the neighboring one. They try as much as they can, but sometimes there's nothing they can do to help the people that are being raided. A missive comes that the king has died and so Gabe and his unit have to move on, traveling to the capital for the coronation and the swearing-in while another unit takes their place.
But! He would have been lonely even with his soldiers (he's a traumatized dude, give him a break, wait a minute Wednesday, etc. etc.) so I made him a boyfriend, Danny Leeds :D He joins Gabe's unit after his whole village got culled. So! There we are :D <3
I may publish it one day when I actually have something to publish... but here's a snippet for you <333
Gabe Roots hated rabbit stew. Whoever had thought up this particular concoction of vegetables and meat must have been an evil spirit amusing himself on his day off, he thought, peering into his bowl. There was a sad little slice of carrot drifting at the surface, pale enough that it could be considered parsley if one squinted hard enough. Maybe it was, seeing as everything growing in this godforsaken piece of land was so bland there was no telling for sure what their most recent foraging quest had unearthed. Jacob had deemed it edible, though, and Gabe trusted their cook implicitly. Reluctantly, he dug out his spoon and stirred the contents, shuddering at the pieces of rabbit floating up to the surface.
Even without tasting it, he knew it would be chewy as shit.
How did the meat stay so damn dry after soaking in boiling water for close to an hour, he could never guess, but his suspicions were confirmed with the first bite. He munched on it carefully, frowning at Avery slurping up his portion and smacking his lips soundly afterwards. “That was delightful,” he commented, and Jacob grinned, waving his hand in thanks. Gabe shivered again, looking down only to see the sad slice of carrot finally give up and sink to the bottom of the bowl.
He gritted his teeth and kept on eating, barely reacting when he felt another presence sitting down next to him. “It’s getting colder,” Cinder’s voice was low, deceptively conversational. He grunted instead of answering her, and tried to find the unfortunate carrot, mostly to get rid of it. “If we don’t get orders to move out soon, we’ll be doomed,” his captain went on, well-used to his moods. Gabe nodded absentmindedly, upturning a piece of something looking suspiciously like a bone. “The girls will be back,” he reminded her, glaring at the elusive slice when he caught a glimpse of it slipping away and back to the bottom of the slop. “Let’s hope they didn’t encounter any trouble.” “Brigid?” Gabe huffed, amused. “The last time someone tried to get in her way we had two bodies to bury.” He grinned at the memory.
Brigid was rather on the short side, and her long, blond hair and big, blue eyes lent her a soft appearance, to the dismay of anyone trying to intimidate her. She was quick as a snake, carried five knives, and knew well where to stick them.  “Besides, Elizabeth is with her,” Gabe went on, shrugging, finally managing to pin the offending piece of vegetable to the side of his bowl. He dragged it up. “If her glare won’t put off any possible brigands, her bow will.” “She’s a hunter,” Cinder replied, her gaze flickering to his determined battle. “And a marksman,” he added, gathering the carrot on his spoon. He brought it up for inspection, glaring at it. “What in the world is that?” He asked with distaste, and his captain chuckled. “White beetroot,” she enlightened him, her amusement turning into a full-on laughter when he tossed it to the side.

DP Prompt - Purify (& Aftermath)
Now, we've all seen fics where the Fentons try to cure Danny & Danny struggles, saying that they'll kill him & "please stop, I'm still your son" & then he dies.
But I don't think I've ever seen one also get the Fentons' reaction after he does. Them expecting to have just expunged Phantom, but doing so killed both sides of him. Where they really were doing it to save Danny's life & they were so sure it would work.
Thing is, it would've worked had Danny actually been possessed, but because Fenton & Phantom were one & the same, it killed him.
So his body is left with half the ectoplasm in his body bleeding away to leaving him looking like half Fenton & half Phantom.
I wanna see them crushed. Both of them. I want them destroyed & mourning in 2 completely different ways. Jack being inconsolable & Maddie in frantic disbelief, asserting that it should've worked, why didn't it work, & no, it's just a ghostly trick. Her baby boy is out there, she's sure of it.
I wanna see Jazz hate them for killing her baby brother, Sam & Tucker for killing their best friend. Tucker's practical brother. And in Sam's case, her maybe more than a best friend.
I wanna see the Fentons struggle with keeping the ghosts at bay because now that there's no Phantom, they're running rampant.
I wanna see the town rally against the Fentons for killing their protector.
I want havoc!
I want them to only now realize just how much Phantom did for them.
I want them to ask for Vlad's help, who knows what they did & despite how much they fought, he really did care for Daniel (in his own twisted way). How it makes him want to kill Jack even more now, not just for himself, but also for his little badger.
I want him to also feel betrayed by Maddie &, suddenly, she doesn't look like as much of an angel as she did before.
I want him to come to the realization that he's alone again & it's devastating to him. Then he remembers Ellie & for a brief second, hope wells up in his chest, until he remembers how he'd melted her down. It suddenly no longer matters to him that she wasn't the perfect clone. Just that he's not entirely alone even if she hates him.
I want the Fentons to eventually learn that Vlad & Plasmius are one & the same. At first, they think Vlad's being possessed like Danny was, but then Vlad rages at them & explains what'd happened in the hospital while they were off playing happy family as he rotted away like an infected wound. How it was their proto-portal that made him a freak & their ghost portal did the same to their son. How there is only one entity inside his body & his name is Vlad. How Daniel was the same & they tortured him for something that was their fault.
He calls them murderers & kid-killers (rather hypocritically) & he loathes them both.
Maybe, for the purpose of allowing a ray of hope to shine only to snuff it out afterwards, Danny does return as a full ghost, but he's younger than he should be (because he died a frightened child) he remembers nothing of his life & only has brief flashes of his time as Phantom. But he's a broken little thing with the appearance of both Fenton & Phantom fused together, split right down the middle. Fenton in the white & black hazmat that he wore just before he turned halfa. His arm is burned to a crisp where he touched the button inside the portal with, still lightly steaming, & lictenburg scars that glow going up his arm, his neck, branching out at his chest to cover his cheek & where his heart used to be, ectoplasmic replicas of the very straps that his parents had used to strap him down were bound tightly to his wrists & ankles, so tight that they bit into the skin, & he keeps losing consistency only to reform. He is, in a word, unstable. He has a very pure & unfiltered love of space, but is extremely timid & has a chilling, soul-deep fear of doctors & scientists. But little else beyond that. His skin is ice blue with glowing constellation freckles.
He recognizes no one & he never will because some deeply-hidden part of him doesn't want to.
In the end, he's taken in by Soujorn, who takes him journeying all over the universe & Danny doesn't even look back once. And he's happy & his friends & sister are mournfully happy for him, but Jack & Maddie are destroyed.
Give me all of them grieving in their own ways.
