I think it’s silly how in fics Danny’s like “oh thank the ancients” or otherwise using them as a stand in for “oh my god”. He beat half their asses bi weekly and they only made him stronger. He spits on their names like a Canadian who just got attacked by geese
He is cocky and full of rage. He can and has fist fought several gods, no way is he respecting them.
Maybe clockwork and pandora, but no one else (nope, nvm on clockwork).
Anyway I think he should curse them out or use them in derogatory ways rather than use them as a curse
Examples:
Oh fuck the Observants!
You’re dumber than the Observants
I’m gonna beat you so hard Nocturn would be impressed
I hope Vortex goes up ur ass hole
Overgrowth wants to know what ur smoking
I hope overgrowth eats ur mom
I’m not that creative but you get the point.
(This is no way a dis on the ancient trope, I like it fine enough)

Sea Cryptic! Danny AU- Pt.2
[Pt.1] [Pt.3] [Pt.4][Pt.5][Pt.6][Pt.7]
Danny dragged up another plastic wrapped body from the bay.
“It’s you. What are you doing?”
“Oh, holy smokes!” Danny screeched. “What-! Oh, it’s you! The litterer!”
Batman stood in front of Danny, cape draped around his shoulders and a far better sight to see than the last time Danny had seen the guy.
“… I’m Batman.” He introduced himself to Danny awkwardly.
“Uh huh. You missed a couple of things cleaning up the beach last time.” Danny dropped the body on the pebbled shore of the bay and crossed his arms. He sent Batman an unimpressed look. “You’re just like your city. There’s trash all over the water!”
Batman glanced down.
“That is a body.”
Danny scowled.
“No, that’s plastic. Plastic does not belong in the ocean.”
Batman sighed. For some reason, Danny thought he seemed less… antagonistic. Wait, did he think Danny killed the guy?!
“That is a body wrapped in plastic.”
Fuck it.
“If it was a body, then bury it. Or decompose it before you people decide to dump it into the water. Even the sharks have the decency to decompose when they’re dead. Do you know how long plastic takes to deteriorate??”
Batman glanced to the side, where the line of plastic wrapped masses had caught his eye to begin with.
“I do. Did all of these come from the bay?”
“Quite obviously, yes. I don’t have enough time to clean the waters! Ancients, it’s like they’re multiplying!” Danny knew why they were multiplying. It’s because Gothamites were getting murdered and dumped weekly. The problem is that Danny has classes and assignments to complete and he couldn’t be out here every week.
“I’ll handle it.”
“Oh, will you? And how do you plan on doing that when you couldn’t even properly clean the beach of your plane? I even stacked it up nicely for you to pick up!”
Alright, so maybe Danny had a couple of grudges. Like… a solid one that’s based on the hours of sleep he missed cleaning up after Batman and the wreck.
“We didn’t get everything?”
“No.” Danny huffed. “Whatever. Just figure out what to do with these bodies. I was not looking forward to digging graves for all of them.”
“You were going to dig graves for them?” Batman sounded off.
Danny scowled again. “I’m dead, genius.” And now Batman looked like someone ran over his dog. “Respecting the dead is important and graves are important for the dead. How else would we know we’re remembered?”
Danny threw up his hands. “Humans,” he muttered, like he wasn’t half human himself.
“Anyways, I’m leaving. Handle this properly or else I’m haunting you.”
“Wait-!” Batman said, but Danny had already disappeared.
So, while Batman had an angst crises at two thirty in the morning and thirty new unidentified corpses to contend with, Danny Fenton flew back to his apartment and passed out on his shitty couch.
——
“You need to stop.”
“Pay me to stop, then. What are your villains going to do? Kill me? I’d like to see them try.”
Danny looked Batman right in his lenses and plopped another body down at the man’s feet.
“I can tell you who they are for a fee.” Danny offered the vigilante. “Some of these still have shades of their souls attached still.”
“What.”
Danny tilted his head, moon once more lighting a halo of flickering white flames around his head. “$100 per identity.”
Batman stared.

Meeting the Kids
Today was the day that Dick’s boyfriend, Danny, would be introducing him to his three kids. He has heard so much about the gremlin trio that he could recite how Danny adopted them and what they are like forwards and backwards in his sleep at this point. And as he fidgeted outside of his boyfriend’s apartment in Fawcett that was exactly what he did.
Ellie is Danny’s biological daughter that was officially put under his guardianship when he was emancipated at 17, but unofficially he has been watching over her for much longer. She is the oldest of the three, being 11. Exploring and causing untold amounts of chaos, usually with her two younger brothers, is her bread and butter in life. Will not hesitate to turn that controlled chaos onto you if you hurt her family, if the stories of what she does to her sperm donor is an indication. Tales of all the places he has traveled when he was in the circus and stress he has caused Bruce at galas are his best bet to not getting pelted with glitter the moment he walks in the door.
Billy is the most recent addition to the family after living on the streets for the last few years. He is the middle child at 10 years old. Being forced into foster care, which is a death sentence according to Jason, and living on the streets, which is apparently better than foster care (again according to Jason), has made him vary of adults. The only reason he trusted Danny enough to be adopted, was through a long campaign of food, a safe place to sleep that he could leave at any time, the other kids, and a few private emotional moments. From the stories he is a sweet kid whose swearing could make a sailor blush. He brought some of Alfred’s homemade food and stories of Jason for him.
Damian was taken in 6 years ago when Danny was 19. His birth family was in a cult, raising him as its heir before trying to sacrifice him to some higher being, when Danny found him. Even with the ruff start he is very in touch with his home country’s culture, Danny even getting in touch with people from his culture to teach the whole family so they can better understand and respect it. He is the youngest of the trio at 9 and loves animals. He has also seemingly inherited Danny’s adoption tendencies when it comes to said animals. He is also the most likely to challenge him to a duel for Danny’s honor, he does it to every potential partner of Danny's, much less one actually dating him. Mentions of Batcow while accepting said duel should help Damian at least tolerate him.
All three of them are the stars of Danny’s life. Dick has heard all about the bullshit Danny gets for being a father of three, two which are in the double digits, at 25 and how protective the Nightingale family is of each other. And that isn’t even counting his older sister, who he has met over the phone, and all the others claimed extended family. How often Danny has broken up with his partners over the kids or said kids driving out those partners if they didn’t think that they were good enough for their dad. So, no Jason, he wasn’t being paranoid, considering that they ran the last one out in tears, covered in neon, biodegradable glitter and paint, he was being practical!
What Dick did not know was that as he was panicking and making plans the gremlin trio was making their own plans. Plans of his demise.

Denise Baker has always been a sweet lady. The epitome of a Southern’s hospitality. Married twice, first to a man named Danny Sadecki, then the second being Tom Graves after Danny passed away. They were good people. The best, feeling grateful each day for giving her the best gifts a hopeful mother could ever ask for.
Two amazing boys.
Keeping their last names rather than changing them to her maiden name was instinctive. At a one-year-plus age gap, Phil took after his mother’s Southern twang whereas Jeff followed his stepfather’s general American accent. They grew to be one happy family, and the brothers, despite their differences in interests and personality, would fight tooth and nail for one another.
But since Tom’s passing, the boys have been less lively, and understandably so. No matter how well they hid their sadness behind innocent smiles each time their mother was in the room, she could see right through them. She didn’t know what she did to earn such sweet boys, always attentive to their Mama at a young age, but she had always hoped to see the fire in them return someday.
That was until they met you.
You and Phil were the same age, just beginning middle school with his brother somewhere a little further from the Bakers’ than the town’s high school.
The brothers had been waiting for their mother to pick them up when you slid next to Phil in the waiting chair. It was raining cats and dogs in Wiskayok, so you had to squeeze yourself into the bus stop to avoid getting drenched.
“Sorry,” You squeaked with a guilty smile when your shoulders touched.
Phil was beyond the age of believing in cooties, plus, he and Jeff were a mama’s boy, and she didn’t raise a woman (girl?)-hater.
“S’okay.” His smile was half-hearted, a little miffed that he couldn’t get to the stand in time when it began raining, and at this point, Jeff had noticed your sudden presence. They’ve seen you before, especially Phil. You always sat in front of him in class, mostly seen with full of life and blinding smile with a missing tooth.
“Your mom’s coming late, too?” Phil knew he didn’t have to make the conversation any longer than he’d like, but he had no reason to do that with you. You were so… nice, and yet, so respectful. Always giving him a wave instead of barging into his personal space bubble like a lot of his classmates did.
Plus, his mother was already thirty minutes late, what was there to lose?
“Yeah. My brother and I have been waitin’ for a lil’ while,” He replied with a shrug, pausing for a second before asking, “You?”
“Yeah, same,” You responded, though more lighthearted than he was, kicking your feet as you looked at the road, “It’s okay, though. Mom’s always busy. They’re probably tired. So long I’m not alone here, I’m not scared to wait for my mom.”
There you go, with your smile again. Phil couldn’t help but smile back, it was tiny but you could see the slight quirk of his lips. Jeff, too, found your positivity infectious and had been listening.
He had joined in on the conversation moments after. It was fairly light, with Jeff doing most of the talking, but that didn’t mean Phil wasn’t listening and chiming in once in a while. It wasn’t until fifteen minutes later when Denise came, rushing over to her boys with an umbrella and endless apologies.
You were ready to say goodbye to the two and resume waiting on your own when Denise approached you with a motherly look.
“Hi, darlin,” She crouched in front of you, with Jeff and Phil at a perfect height as they stood under her umbrella, “I’m Denise, Jeffrey and Phillip’s mama. What’s your name?”
You were a lot shyer with her, considering she was an adult, but you trusted her enough with your name since you kinda knew his youngest.
“That’s a beautiful name,” Even with the heavy rain, her soft-spoken voice was hard to miss, “D’you know when y’mama will come pick you up?”
You shook your head, telling her that with your mother working at a busy cafe, it could vary. And like you told the boys, you were alright with waiting rather than daring to walk home since the bus stop was always full. Still, Denise, ever the kind-hearted woman, offered to drive you to your mother’s workplace.
Denise understood that you were wary and good on you for being careful, but to her surprise, Jeff and Phil were nice enough to reassure you. And whether you agreed because of their mother’s gentleness, Jeff’s natural talent to make you feel comfortable with all three of them or even the hint of promise in Phil’s eyes that everything was going to be fine, Denise was glad you did.
Your mother was extremely thankful, even offered to pay for their lunch for their next visit, but Denise refused and with the two becoming fast friends just as you were with Jeff and Phil, the rest was history.
Though, high school was… eventful, to say the least. While the two of you remained close, almost joined at the hip, you and Phil sometimes preferred backing off as Jeff’s popularity grew. Not that Jeff’s behaviour changed with the two of you, he was still the dorky, good-willed boy you knew.
Although you and Phil may have fought a little with Jeff when he told you about his cheating on Jackie with Shauna. He broke up with Jackie soon after, but his decision to stay with Shauna may or may not have affected your friendship. You and his brother weren’t too keen on the idea of their own friend/brother being a cheater after all.
Jeff especially hated it when it rocked what the two of you had. He was dumb enough to think ending up with Shauna or Jackie would make him forget his interest in you, and surprise surprise, it didn’t. The three of you stayed close friends, though he promised never to bring up about Shauna around you or Phil at all.
And then, high school ended.
Phil’s decision to leave town for the Marines was not only the biggest shock to the neighbourhood but especially to his own family. Not that he didn’t have the means to be one, if anything, his mother and brother knew he’d be one of, if not, the best ones out there. He just never expressed his interest in military work at all.
Throughout their years as a family, Mama had never seen the two fight so badly until Jeff discovered that Phil had been considering leaving Wiskayok, leaving their mother after they both finished community college. Though their fall-out didn’t last long, no more than two weeks, especially when their mother expressed her worries and sadness over their rocky relationship.
Plus, Jeff didn’t want what strong bond he had with his brother to end just like that. He cared for his brother too much, and in their moment of vulnerability, he apologized for not doing more in their high school years. When some of his peers saw his little brother as his shadow rather than a person. Phil insisted that he barely cared about them, even flat out said they weren’t necessarily his friends unless it had to do anything with football.
They hugged it out, and Mama was over the moon. Suddenly, the thought of Phil leaving for the military wasn’t as difficult, knowing that her boys were still going to keep in touch, and on a high note, no less.
He spent his last month in Wiskayok with you and your mother with the most mundane of things.
But oh, how Mama’s emotions dipped when you, too, left shortly after your mother passed away.
She couldn’t put it past you for doing so. How could she, when you’ve been nothing but an angel? A one in a million and she’d be damned if she convinced you to stay like a bird in a cage. As much as she and Jeff would love to, insisting that there was something for you in town, but just like with Phil, they didn’t. It was far too selfish of them, and you had so much potential.
And as thankful as Mama was to have Jeff by her side at all times, there was someone else.
Shauna.
Shauna never sat right with her, no matter how far she was ‘willing’ to go to get to know her future mother-in-law better. Though the smile she brought out of Jeff was nowhere near as big or as wholesome as he was with you, there was a hint of guilt for feeling the way she did. Hoping you’d end up with one of her sons.
But she wasn’t the only one thinking as such, but Jeff felt that he had lost his chance when you left.
So, he carried himself again to be a better person, especially when he truly believed Shauna was the one, much to his mother’s disbelief. Hell, she’d seen bigger smiles from him when he was with that Jackie girl before they broke up.
But her boy was insistent.
Maybe, for once, her mother’s intuitions were wrong.
And as the days went by, the possibility of Jeff putting a ring on Shauna grew higher, Mama did her best to accept her as her own. The two were civil at best, and no doubt that was enough for the two.
But the years grew dull for the Sadeckis, and the second Jeff came knocking on his mother’s door at two in the morning, his wife not in sight, she knew she should’ve done more to stop what they had.
It began with petty arguments, with Jeff being the one apologizing to Shauna, despite knowing she was in the wrong or if she began the fight in the first place. Then it became quarrels, something about her nonexistent book club when in reality, she had been meeting up with a man named Adam.
Each time Mama received a call from her eldest, telling her that he and his wife ‘needed space’, she’d cook up a nice meal and make sure his old room was ready with the amenities he needed.
If it weren’t for Jeff’s attempts to calm his mother down, telling her it wasn’t worth the trouble, she would’ve marched down to Shauna’s front door and knocked some sense into her with a rolling pin. How dare she point her finger at Jeff, attempting to invalidate her own faults by saying it was him who cheated first during their years of marriage, thus, giving her the green light to do the same.
Although yes, Jeff has done it once, when he cheated on Jackie, he regretted it. Immensely, especially seeing the disappointment in his mother’s face. Oh, how he apologized to her like he had committed the biggest sin of all, and frankly, he did. And though his mother was dismayed by his dishonesty, she knew when any of her boys truly regretted something.
Boy, never has he wished for things to turn out differently and still, he wanted to work things out, when he tried to show his mother what he saw in Shauna.
And she did, but she didn’t see what she or Jeff hoped she’d saw. The final straw was when his wife—his ex-wife disrespected his mother in her own house. He had given her many chances, forgiving her more times than he could count, but he could not stand for her raising her voice at his beloved mother.
Denise had every right to feel grateful when the divorce happened, but that didn't mean she openly celebrated it in front of her son. But Phil was different, even went as far as having a congratulatory gift sent to their doorstep since he was still on duty. Despite knowing his brother was rolling in dough with his line of work, Jeff couldn’t help but gawk at the gifts, much to his mother’s amusement. A set of cashmere sweaters that probably cost anywhere from half to one grand, complete with a few bottles of fragrances and even one of the finest reds to commemorate the moment. Plus, a personalized rose-gold bracelet for Mama because why wouldn’t he want to spoil her at any given chance?
And though he and his mother did enjoy a few sips after moving back into the Bakers’ house, he couldn’t help but wonder how you were doing.
But he didn’t have to wait for long.
The day you and Phil returned to Wiskayok, standing in front of Mama’s door, she nearly dropped to her knees. Not only has she missed her youngest boy, despite his efforts in calling and texting and visiting in secret each time his deployment ended, but she most certainly missed you, too. It was your first time visiting since the very day you left, after all. Phil didn’t take it to heart when his mother scolded him for not telling her that the two of you were colleagues and maybe were together.
In reality, though, she had a feeling that you were still around. Closer than what you made them believe.
There were days when Phil had a chance to call his mother, and she’d suddenly bring you up. Wondering aloud if you were alright, how life was treating you in God knows where, and somehow, Phil’s confidence in his responses, telling her that he was certain you were doing well, she believed him. Word for word. As if she knew he was with you throughout your journey to find yourself, just like he did.
And she’d be right when the universe reunited you and Phil on the battlefield. When Shadow Company joined forces with 141 and Los Vaqueros, not expecting to find the girl of his dreams amongst the chaos and in those years, you laughed, you smiled, you wept and you released yourself for him and him alone. Finally acknowledging what the two of you were afraid to address as teenagers all those years ago.
Phil couldn’t imagine bringing his walls down for someone other than you and though like with everyone else, he still kept up the proud and almost infuriating act, no one else had the privilege to see the more caring, affectionate side of him except for you.
But Mama wasn't the only one surprised by the revelation.
On the first night of your arrival, Jeff didn't talk much, instead, hanging on to your every word. From the very moment you reached the city alone for the first time, till the very day you carried yourself into your team and reunited with Phil. How you even remembered the gifts you were meaning to give him and their mother in the middle of the conversation. And as the night fell, you insisted on booking a hotel not far from the neighbourhood.
Oh, how Mama has missed the old days when she'd tell you to stay over, making sure to call your mother about your whereabouts. While she wouldn’t dream of replacing your mother, it was understandable how her attentiveness for you has skyrocketed, now that she knew you and his son were coming over much more often.
Still, she had conditions, eyeing Phil with a knowing look before telling him that you’d be staying in the guestroom. Still spick and span for hopeful days like these. Phil's cheeky smile was worth a thousand words, knowing his mother had caught on to what type of little games the two of you played. Her eye-roll was good-natured, even letting out a hearty laugh when she caught the embarrassed look on your face.
Throughout your stay, she saw how your relationship with Phil blossomed, and how the more-than-friendly feelings between you and Jeff were beginning to rekindle. How her sons’ true emotions—their true colours were showing in that same very house as it always did, as if nothing had changed. Mama knew there was something more to the loving looks they’d give you whenever you looked away.
And when she saw the three of you hanging out and sitting close in the backyard patio, watching the stars and laughing over a stupid stunt one of them had done as kids, she knew that you and her boys were going to be A-ok.

Add ons for the twins au
+Damian started to act like Danyal after his death for a few reasons. One was because he needed to survive, and Danyal was someone who not only thrived but was a predator amongst them. Two was that he wanted the living memory of his brother to live on. And finally, three was that Ra’s had made it so that he was to act and be exactly like Danyal because he considers Danyal a perfect heir and that Damian should be encouraged to act the same
+Damian actually openly took care of animals in the league before Danyal’s death
+Danyal will and can kill without hesitation but will crippled those that looked down on Damian because they should live enough for Mother to touch them
+Damian was the one to have in interest in astrology first, Danyal couldn’t care less (until he started to grasp on straws of his memories
+After Danyal died Damian took ahold of his sword but never used it as he believed himself to be unworthy of it (As he was one of the people Damian respected above all else)
+Damian drew Danyal’s face by memory every day as to not forget his brother
+Damian is the younger brother and I Live for it
+When Danny became Phantom, Danny had amazing muscle memory but never realized at first during his time as Phantom that most of his moves were meant to kill a person, however he never did understand this because most of his enemies at first were ghost
+Danny would sometimes cry when he sees Gemini’s constellation
+When Danny becomes Ghost King, he declared he will clean the world of distortion as to cut off the passageways to the Ghost Zone and Infinite Realms as to make sure none of his subjects are used or harmed
+(This was his excuses to take down every single Lazarus Pit)
+Does Danny deserve to punch Ra’s? Yes. Does he ask Damian to join him? Also, yes. Will he have Dani to come in to do a surprise upper cut to his jaws? Absolutely.
Optional add ons that don’t follow a single line of thought
+Danyal will lose his memory of the League but will gain them back after the incident
+Ra’s was the one to kill Danyal as to provide an heir that he could keep on a leash
+Danny does remember and pulls many many many strings as to not only get Damian to Father but to also make sure he is alive and well and that he is living a life away from the League (he’s in peace with that even if it pains him greatly to see Damian without him (but he will never be jealous of Damian having a family because he was the one to abandon him first and Damian deserves to living happy ))
+(The roles are reverse; Danny is the shadow and Damian is the one in the light (moonlight but eh))
+Danny freaked out when he saw Jason near Damin because he thought he was a ghost who somehow found out his identity only to realizes it’s his brother who is either very strong Liminal or very weak halfa
+Danny never used social media or tried to be on it because he knows it going to bite him back because he has Bruce freaking Wayne as hie Father
+Danyal is horrified to realizes that Damian became like him but cried freaking tears of joy when he saw how Damain almost immediately revert to the baby twin he loved and protected after he confirmed his identity (but only for him (yes, even from you Richard))
I wrote a whole string of add ones that ended up being a timeline of a plot for a whole story and ended up taking the ones that weren’t so plot building. There are still one of two (or many more) in there thou
Edit add on: Danyal would often say tsch in which Damian would try to copy him but would end up as tt

Danny and Jazz get adopted by Harley Quinn, Pamela Isley, and Waylon Jones after the Fenton Adults accidentally forget about their kids after a science convention in Gotham. Jazz is ten and Danny is six, this uses your version of young Danny in which he can safely eat anything.
Danny and Jazz develop differently in Gotham with a loving trio of parents to guide them through life in Gotham, the Batfamily cannot comprehend how to kids raised by three supervillians can be so normal (by Gotham's twisted standards).
Also for this idea Harley is married to both Pamela and Waylon which is fully legal in the court of law, Harley is the glue that ultimately keeps their family unit together.
KILLER CROC! KILLER CROC! KILLER CR- *somebody slaps me*
Whoo! Ok, sorry, he's such a fun villain. Here we go!
It was less Harley, Waylon, and Pamela adopting them and more Jazz and Danny adopting the trio.
Danny pretty much latched onto Waylon. Literally. With teeth. Waylon thought it was hilarious, brought the gremlin home, and bam! another kid was riding on his back the whole time and he didn't notice.
At first, they try to find their parents, but the kids don't want to leave. As in 'causing potentially deadly shenanigans' don't want to leave.
And you know what? They can respect that. Waylon falls first. Not only are these kids Not Afraid of him, the little biter won't leave him alone. He shares Waylon's food (people don't like to get within 5 feet of a guy named Killer Croc when he's eating for a Reason), and he somehow accidentally starts teaching Danny how to hunt in the sewers and abandoned buildings.
(Does Danny get a taste for human flesh in this? Probably.)
Jazz likes the human mind, she's insatiably curious, and so she gets the nickname of Harley's little duckling. (Changes to Red Swan or something badass later, but she keeps the goose/swan/duck in her name because those are Scary Birds) (ooh or maybe The Cassowary)
Danny gets a nickname too. Maybe Gator-Bog or something?
More under the cut!
Despite Waylon's insistence that Danny is adopted, they all believe he's his biological son because they have witnessed Danny: bite the Joker's nose off when he got too close, eat a sewer rat, nearly bite Tim's fingers off (luckily he was wearing heavy gloves), hiss like a creachur, and he also sets off Damian's 'dangerous animal let me pet it' alarms.
Danny can eat everything because he's contaminated by ectoplasm, so there's also the reflecting eyes, sharp teeth, and weird strength.
Batman returns Danny to his 'dad' at least once a month. Keeping Danny out of Shenanigans is pretty much a full time job, so he's a lot less of a frequent bat-villain lately.
Jazz, meanwhile, seems perfectly normal. This leads to the batfam kidnapping her at least once a month for several years. Hilariously, when Danny is cleaned up, he gets confused for Damian until he opens his mouth leading to multiple accidental kidnappings.
By the time the Fentons find Danny, the batfam is just cackling. "That kid? Go ahead, pick him up. Just count your fingers after."
By the time they find Jazz, the batfam is no longer laughing because they had some weird ghost netting that managed to hold Gator-Boy.
At some point, Constantine arrives and continuously tries to persuade everyone that Danny is a ghost.
Damian is the least kidnapped member of the batfam, despite being the youngest, because kidnappers have accidentally mistaken Danny for Damian before. The ones who managed to keep their lives (Waylon is never happy about people kidnapped either of his kids), and their fingers/noses/ears (Danny has and will happily rip a kidnappers face off) spread the rumor.
When Danny actually, finally dies and becomes a halfa, because ghosts look like how they see themselves, he turns into a ghostly version of Killer Croc.
Hilariously, everyone STILL believes Constantine is wrong. That's no ghost. Clearly, that's a were-crocodile.
Danny is still a hero! Sort of. He takes a bite out of crime- literally.
Vlad tries to kidnap him. It does Not Go Well. For Vlad. Danny, Pamela, Jazz, Harley, and Waylon have a great time.
"That's a ghost!" "Yes, Constantine, Plasmius is a ghost, we know." "Danny is too!" "Leave sleeping were-gators lie, honestly"
Damian and Danny regularly blame hijinks on the other. "Damian, who beat an abusive zoo owner nearly to death?' " Gator-boy, most likely." "Danny, who rescued 200 people from Mr. Freeze?" "I heard that one of the Wayne kids was there."
OR
Alternatively for Vlad: realizes the Fentons abandoned their kids like they abandoned him and becomes the weird, slightly concerning uncle. Teaches Danny all about being a halfa, but also has cloned him.
"You cloned my son?!" "It was an accident!" "There are 4 clones!!!!" "Oops?"
Constantine breaks down into tears because there's now 6 ghosts in Gotham, and nobody believes him about 5.
Danny, the were-gator. David the were-skeleton. Don the were-Frankenstein, Michael the were-dinosaur, and of course Dani the were-shark.
Vlad's 'children' go trick or treating as sheet ghosts to Constantine's house every year because it's always hilarious.

Fanfiction commentary and recommendations: The why´s and how´s and Part I of 'Lex Luthor´s ascend from supervillainy to fatherhood'
Okay, so. I know it may be weird, but bear with me for a moment: i love to comment on fics or stories like some people would a youtube video - with all the comments and snark and further ideas that entails. (though that works best in a chapter-for-chapter basis) And all the random tangents my brain will go off of. Which is why I thought: why not share my thoughts? (also thanks to the comment from @norapretzel) Since I have about 300 fics of the Phandom in my 'Please update I need more' tab folder, I wanna share just why I put them there and what makes them worth reading. (Seriously, tab groups or tab lists are the best thing ever. They have made my life so much easier. And stopped my laptop from regularly fighting for it´s life.) I don´t know how regular this will be or even if, because work and life in general. But anyways: it´s just for fun and to put something out there.
I will begin with the fanfic I am currently reading: 'Lex Luthor´s ascend from supervillainy to fatherhood' by halfagone (milkywxy) [@halfagone]
The other parts can be found here:
Part II
Part III
Part IV
Part V
Part VI
Part VII
My most recently read chapter is chapter 35 which means: the first mini-arc as well as a few important plotpoints have been mentioned if not completely finished. I have binged those first 35 chapters sometime between late afternoon yesterday and evening today so it will not be as detailed as it would be if i only mentioned one chapter - I do apologize for that.
Anyways, here the actual commentary instead of my usual ramblings:
As for the first point. The most important point. The reason you should read this? It´s a story about family and the difference between the people who raised you and those you actually view as family. It´s about trust and that sometimes you can´t trust those you want to trust the most and that that´s okay. It´s about family by choice and that it may sometimes look or feel weird (especially if viewed from the outside). It´s also about burdens and how one handles them - how it can become unhealthy under circumstances. It´s a story about many themes and plot points and details that play together to become something more. I do hope it doesn´t sound too philosophical to be honest. But to just put it in a nutshell: 'Lex Luthor´s Ascend from supervillainy to fatherhood' is a story about family and how to overcome obstacles together.
The story begins at a gala. Or, more precisely, at a gala where Brucie Wayne (and oh, he holds onto that persona with an iron grip) and Lex Luthor (who has SOME kind of respect for the guy, even though he has his own son run the company instead of himself) are having a talk. And while we all know and love Bruce for this persona it does mean it paints him in a rather incompetent light for other people in this circle. This does not stop him from being a worried parent though. Oh no.
This man has the audacity to tell Luthor IN HIS FACE (though not in those words) that he fears him to be an (more or less accidentally) incompetent father figure. Which Danny predictably finds hilarious when Lex later tells him.
So here we see a first glimpse of the relationship between these two - a relationship that seems to have already been developing for quite some time already. It´s also here that we find out that Danny is stranded in this dimension - i do not want to say 'trapped' but in a sense it is the correct word. (all his friends, his family, everything he knows - they are are not here. He is the only one in this dimension. And even if some things are similar enough - I doubt it´s the same.)
While sad to think about, i do believe that he is making the best of his situation and he already seems to have found himself a parent figure. A parent figure that seems to actually care even. Who wants his best and won´t put their own work before the wellbeing of their child. Though we´ll only get there a little later in the story.
And personally I must say that it´s just damned funny to see the 'showdown' between Lex and Bruce go down. It´s such a stark contrast to the conversation Lex and Danny have later in the chapter that i did have to laugh quite a bit at all of the reactions both them tried to hide xD
I don´t want to sell the story short, but I also don´t want to spoil all too much, because honestly? That just takes the fun out of a story. So I´ll just summarize the next bit for a bit:
What follows are some serious and some funny conversations between Danny and several Heroes and Danny, as well as our favourite halfa and his new father figure about the nature of their relationship, his life before all of this, the nature of cloning and clones and no one has asked to be born and should not be treated any less for their parentage. Also about people being superweapons and how well (or bad) that can turn out. (And also the question: Are Lex Luthor and Superman bitter Exes? An important question I must admit. It would honestly explain so MUCH about their relationship. And even if it´s not true: i kinda want Danny asking it out loud at a press conference with Clark Kent and Lex Luthor present. That would be just hilarious xD)
And honestly? After the heartwarming talk about clones I kinda want Danny ripping Superman a new one about his behaviour with Kon. It would 1) be a very amusing thing to watch and 2) Our boy deserves a brother who will defend him from the people who have hurt him the most.
After that we get to Cass and Danny meeting and my god, those are such frankly adorable scenes that i DO NOT WANT TO SPOILER. So I´ll just ignore that whole comment in my head and just say: it´s the most adorable thing ever and i think i have diabetes after reading it. Also: I think my neighbours were about to knock on my door to ask where all that squealing came from and if i needed help because of all the running around they heard. I may or may not have run around my flat squealing like a little kid. Maybe.
What we also get to is Lex´ reaction to their meeting and it did not disappoint. He´s just such a tired dad now. Before long he´ll have talks about their children and their relationship with bruce. And both will probably be absolutely suffering during it lmao. As well as the batfamily as a whole. They don´t know what to think yet but they are already preparing the shovel talk xD
We also get to see one of the many abilities and strenghths Danny has and how he constantly holds himself as small as possible - our boy has a low self esteem and such a low opinion of his own intellect that it just physically hurts me :')
Okay so it´s quite late now - those were the first 5 chapters. Those are part commentary and part speculations and i hope it was entertaining. I did expect to get out a bit more, but my brain wants to go to sleep and and who am I to deny my brain it´s rest? Will try to at least do another 5 chapters tomorrow but I can´t promise anything ;p

Just went through your Phantom Redux tag and I like it so far!
I'm kinda curious about the Fenton family in this concept now. Any major changes from the original you'd like to share?
Yup!
Tumblr media
When MILF meets DILF (Apologies for the awkward Jack design, I am bad at drawing large lads, this design is not final)
A lot of the core of the OG family will remain more or less the same, but like with Jazz slight tweaks need to be made to match the newer dynamics of the story.
Like in the OG series, Jack and Maddie are a couple obsessed with ghosts and ghost-hunting, despite never having found a ghost. I do have slight backstories for them this time, but these are details that would mainly exist in the background and probably won't ever come to the forefront.
For Maddie she had always been interested in ghosts, growing up in the swamps countless myths and stories were told to her and she had numerous encounters that made her adamant that ghosts were real. She studied hard and eventually got into a prestigious college on a scholarship, where she first met Jack and Vlad, and the story from there is the same as in the show.
She is loving, supportive, and fiercely protective of her children, and this in itself fuels her desire to hunt ghosts. From an early age she was taught to fear ghosts and other supernatural entities, and she wants to protect her family from any threats that may arise. However, ironically, it's this obsession with protection that makes her more absent from her kids lives than she probably should be. Even after Danny's accident, she still is obsessed with fighting ghosts, and the fact that tangible ghost threats show up shortly after certainly doesn't help.
She is sensitive to the fact that Danny and Jazz have grown distant, but is assuming that they're just rebelling as teens do. Still, it does kind of hurt the way Jazz doesn't seem to respect her work, and how neither kids seem interested in ghost-hunting, and as the story goes on this tension will only build.
Jack, on the other hand, is from old money, a family of ultra-rich and successful scientists, but like Maddie he developed an intense fascination with ghosts that wouldn't go away no matter what his family tried. He was also friends with Vlad from a very early age, who also came from a wealthy family and shared his interest in ghosts, but knew how to keep it on the down-low. They went to college together, and when Jack made it clear that he wasn't ever giving up on ghosts, the family decided that the best thing to do would just be to give him a massive lump-sum of money on the condition that he change his last name and never bring them up again. This is meant to explain how Jack got into the same fancy college as Maddie and Vlad despite being less competent, why you never see Jack's side of the family, and how the Fenton's are able to afford all of their facilities even before it turns out that ghosts are real. Like I said, though, this will primarily exist in the background, although as you can probably already tell it does also play into Vlad's backstory a bit~
Jack is loud, boisterous, and overwhelmingly positive. He isn't stupid, as many consider him to be, but he is extremely scatterbrained and will often miss the smaller details. He loves his kids and is passionate about sharing his work, but is more understanding of their lack of interest in ghost-hunting given his own break from his family. To him, it's much more important that his kids are around and happy than that they follow in their footsteps, something that he will often help remind Maddie of. He has a slightly better relationship with Jazz because of this, as Jazz sees him as incompetent but well-meaning, but for reasons he doesn't understand Danny is even more distant with him than with Maddie. The reason for this is because while Jack isn't a bad person and is certainly more open-minded than his parents, he is still very old-fashioned, especially when it comes to gender roles and traditional masculinity. On top of this, while both Danny's parents misgender him, being unaware that he is trans, Jack is more likely to use specifically gendered language like "That's my girl", while Maddie tends to use terms like "honey" or "sweetie," which is more gender-neutral.
Jack is somewhat aware of his old-fashioned behavior and will often ask and try to understand his families experiences as woman, but since Danny isn't one, this just further drives a wedge between the two.
As a unit Jack and Maddie are hell-bent on fighting ghosts, not just researching them, and this is the biggest difference between them and Team Phantom. Danny originally also believes that all ghosts are evil, and though he and Tucker invent the thermos to put the ghosts back in the Ghost Zone, this is less out of altruistic reasons and more because Danny simply lacks the ability to destroy ghosts at the beginning of the series. However over time they learn that evil ghosts are a small minority of ghosts, and the majority of them just want to be left alone. Over time Team Phantom will pivot it's approach from fighting ghosts, to understanding them and what their needs are, as even violent ghosts can become docile and even friendly if the right conditions are met. But meanwhile, Maddie and Jack are still hunting ghosts, and thus while at first Danny could at least try to cooperate behind his secret identity, he eventually becomes actively opposed to them, as does Jazz, making life in the Fenton household even more stressful as the story goes on...

Listen, listen, what if in the middle of the recovery in the hospital Vlad would lack of money and NOT try to steal them, but decided to go "ghost life" (ye, technically he's still halfa but go to his weak human form when he's beaten or needs to have some sleep)? Danny wouldn't know for long time why that ghost is so interested in him and why he can't scent Vlad or his scent is totally different than other ghosts, it would a plot twist of Vlad being halfa, too. I don't think Plasmius would try to seduce Maddie. Revenge from Jack? Yes.
Do you think Vlad would have more ghost friends (like a popular hc of Skulker+Ember+Technus+Spectra+Vlad) or still stay same miserable way?
That's a fascinating alternate universe scenario! Instead of staying in the human world and robbing his way to wealth and power, Vlad flees to the Ghost Zone and tries to eke out an existence there. We already saw in Masters of All Time that his ghost half doesn't suffer (at least not visually) from the effects of the ecto-acne, so maybe it hurt less to be in his ghost form, and that was the impetus for him to flee to the Ghost Zone. It's something to think about.
I honestly don't see Vlad making any actual friends in the human world or the ghost realm. He likes having pawns and minions, people he can use, often ruthlessly*. (See: the townsfolk he overshadowed to vote him in for mayor in Eye for an Eye.) He works with Skulker and employs the vultures and ectopusses to do his dirty work, but he isn't actually friends with them. All he seems to care about is their use to him. He has no desire for friendship or companionship with other people or ghosts who aren't Maddie and/or Danny. And if he can't have what he truly wants, he'll accept no substitutes. It's all or nothing when it comes to Vlad.
*Of course, this could be a defense mechanism; Vlad has been hurt emotionally and physically. He's been traumatized, had his heart broken, he feels betrayed, and perhaps he's afraid to let anyone in now. Deep down, he's so tender, so desperate to love and be loved (see: Maternal Instincts and Kindred Spirits) that he has to guard himself well, otherwise his next heartache might destroy him. He's like a crab: tough exterior but extremely vulnerable on the inside.
I imagine he views ghosts like Ember and Technus and Spectra as incompetent or beneath him. Canon examples: in Torrent of Terror, he only helps free Vortex so he can manipulate him, and when he loses the means of controlling him, he lays on the charm to save his own skin (and then jets, leaving Danny to clean up his dirty work). Same with the Fright Night and Pariah Dark in Reign Storm. He wouldn't deign to actually befriend these ghosts, and he certainly doesn't respect them. To him they're merely obstacles to be overcome, threats to be neutralized. Upon his arrival to the Ghost Zone, I bet he set up a lair somewhere especially hidden and worked on developing his powers until he could easily wallop his competition—and maybe that's how he ended up recruiting Skulker and the vultures, by holding the threat of destruction over their heads.
As for Danny, I'm sure he would be stunned and intrigued to find another ghost hybrid like himself, and if this first meeting were to happen organically in the Ghost Zone, it would put Vlad in a position of power. He could lie to Danny, make up any tragic backstory he wanted, and Danny would have no reason to doubt him; after all, in this universe, Vlad Masters disappeared from the hospital and was never heard from again. Vlad could prey on the boy's curiosity, luring him in with either good or nefarious intentions, and if he played his cards just right, Danny would soon become his first true and loyal friend in 20+ years, and together they could go on to conquer the Ghost Zone.
With a crown on his head and a companion at his side—not to mention the fear and obedience of the inhabitants of the Ghost Zone—Vlad would at last have everything he ever wanted: love, power, and an eternity to enjoy both.

I’ve had an idea of how to connect Sam and/or Tucker to Bruce. It’s implementing it that’s a bit of a problem.
My first thought was Sam actually being a child of Bruce, however due to Grandma Ida, that dropped. But maybe Ida dyed her hair like Sam. Her parents are blonde, or she just happened to get black hair from Grandma Ida. Sam wears contacts, not sure if that’s a common HC within DP, but I’m going with it.
There were a couple of other thoughts, like the Masons pulled a Bruce, and adopted Sam. They still love her like their own, but they want a respectful princess out of her, instead of the rebellion that they got.
Maybe Bruce Wayne is Sam’s pseudo-uncle. I’m unsure of timeline wise, but maybe Dick and Jason vaguely remember her when she was a sweet innocent little girl, maybe Tim met her for a short time (a bit of a shock, when they meet again).
So, Jeremy and Pamela are tired of Sam rebelling, and sending her to Bruce Wayne, hoping her pseudo-uncle will help. Like Danny isn’t the only one having problems with curfew and homework, she doesn’t get caught as much, considering that Danny can usually get them home in time of their own curfews.
(FW: A very long post. Not kidding, got a little out of hand. Oops.)
The ghosts have gotten worse, and truly the primary defense is a couple of teenagers. Sam has been researching some kind of mystery that has the normal rouges more powerful than before, which has caused her grades to drop and even longer nights of her not coming home on time.
Anyway, for a short while (1-3months [summer?]) Sam is sent to live with the Wayne’s as a way to sort out her rebellion. Through-out the entire time she’s trying to figure out the reason behind the ghosts’ power increase. Still, despite being all the way from Amity Park, she’s still part of Team Phantom, and she has her mind set on figuring it out. This decision also makes a bad impression on the Wayne family.
Everything is going great until the power increase isn’t limited to Amity, but everywhere, including Gotham. And all she has brought with her is a thermos and a basic ecto-blaster (not like Gotham is Amity, but better safe than sorry).
That’s really all I had going through my head for Sam. Her plant power from Undergrowth’s corruption may have been spotted by one of the family. Maybe the ecto-weapons got picked up from another. Like each member of the family figures out something from Sam, but it never really gets put together until Sam comes forward.
Sam knows the Wayne family is in some way connected to the Batclan, she’s just not entirely sure on how. She’s trying to make sure that the batfam don’t find out about Amity through the Wayne family.
---
Tucker was a little more difficult to figure out. First thought, relation to Duke, but then that was a stretch (as in less coincidence, and more natural relation [does that make sense?]). Instead, he’s got family working WE, so he gets more WE tech, and maybe that helps him code better for the ghost tech. A certain component is necessary for Danny working on his parent’s inventions, and so he’s gotta make an honest trade. Just a visit. The component necessary is still under testing and isn’t quite up for public sale.
When Tucker does end up visiting his relative, both of them get caught by Tim before the component can leave the tower. Thanks to Tucker improving it in some fashion, Tim approves taking it to his friend, he just really wants to know what the invention is.
---
My brain stopped here for a moment, and then the thought of the trio reuniting in Gotham hit hard.
Maybe a convention, not a ghost convention, maybe a space convention, which gives Danny an opportunity. They should hit Gotham anyway since Amity is too off and getting a weaker ecto-input as a baseline may help figure out the mystery. Which a space convention can be the alibi that Danny needs to use. Jazz goes with to watch out for her little brother, and since they keep contact with Sam and Tucker who are already in Gotham, they bring more weapons. Thinking ahead, Danny does bring the invention that used the component, so Tucker can show Tim.
Not sure where to go from here. As for the mystery, maybe it’s just a section of time. Like every thousand years or so, there’s an increase in power for the dead/undead, that takes a few months to resettle. It’s not a major thing. For some of the ghosts of Gotham, they just get a little too much for the vigilantes can handle without the appropriate technologies.
Other cities aren’t as bad, Gotham is just covered in death, that some ghosts just got a little extra.
Either Team Phantom gets away with what they need to do, without the Batfam’s knowledge, or they absolutely shatter their secret. Danny’s secret was actually the very first thing they figured out, he ain’t so sneaky as he thinks. The situation with Amity Park on the other hand...

Danuary24_ Free Day (+ Voyage?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm a bit late because I wanted to clean the sketches digitally, but @crossoverdanuary you can blame @cleanlenins and their birthday present for this idea! (≧▽≦)
In this crossover, when the Portal Incident happened, Danny got Isekai-ed into the One Piece World early in the East Blue saga (still haven't decided exactly when).
It's also (back in Amity) a No One Knows AU, so when the Portal started working "out of nowhere", Danny seemingly disappeared in the same period (no one could actually pinpoint when, though, due to neglect).
Was Danny friends with Tucker and Sam? Did they even exist in this Amity at all? No clue, but the only thing I know for certain is that Danny was a lonely boi...
Until the Strawhats happened, that is.
Like canon, Danny needed a while to start learning how to use his powers, which were such a trial and error thing that he ended getting a slightly different "moveset", so to speak:
Basic common powers + Ghost Form_ ✓
Ice powers_ ✓ (after Drum/Alabasta)
Overshadowing_ X (technically he still could, but has no idea it's a viable option)
Weakness to the Seastone_ ✓ (it has the same properties as the Ectoranium)
Telekinesis_ ✓
Ghostly Wail_ ✓ (post Water 7, if you know what I mean) However, it leaves him so drained that in addition to going back to human form, he's also unable to move for a while (pre-time skip)
Devil Fruit Sense_ ✓ (works like Ghost Sense)
Duplication_ X
(NEW) Spiritual Extraction:
If an object has enough personality/presence, Danny can extract/create a spiritual projection (or even a ghost if the physical object is destroyed) of it. The "blob ghosts" thus created are capable of interacting (minor powers included) with the material world depending on how much of his ectoplasm he feeds them. The Going Merry is the first example of it (AKA the first pic), followed shortly after the Gomu Gomu no Mi and the Hito Hito no Mi (Luffy and Chopper's Devil Fruits). (Oddly enough, the Hana Hana no Mi and the Hono Hono no Mi, Nico Robin's and Ace's fruits respectively, can't be projected, but they dismiss it as Danny's weird biology.) Few other objects that can be affected include the Wado Ichimonji, the Sandai Kitetsu and Luffy's Hat. (Still deciding what else to add.)
More details under the cut (Lenn it will definitely be spoiler-y for you, since you're still at Water 7, so read at your own risk! (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) )
As you probably have already guessed if you're following the Japanese scans, the reason Luffy's fruit can be projected is because it's a Zoan.
The reason for this is that the manga said that Zoan have their own personality (which could overwhelm the user if their will isn't strong enough) and so I interpreted that this implies also a spirit/soul within!
(Thus, in the second pic, the mini swirly sun over the sleeping Danny, Merry and Sunny is Nika, who's bewildered by the mere concept of staying still and resting. You should move and have fun!!)
Other spoilery plot things include:
Usopp never deflected at Water 7 (there was still angst about the physical death of the Merry, but having her literal spirit hanging out with and scolding you if you were spiraling helped immensely);
Franky's personality (since he's one of his creators) rubbed off Sunny, so he's prone to join him in his dances and screaming "SUUUUUPEEEERRR!";
Danny gives off passive harmless ectoplasm radiations (moreover when he's in ghost form) that the Merry feed on when she's a full ghost and so doesn't need any active recharge;
because of his high metabolism, Danny has to eat either a lot (not Luffy-levels) or food choke-packed of nutrients. They also notice that the rawer the meat, the less Danny needs to eat (since it has higher content of non-degraded ectoplasm);
As I was writing the previous point, a thought occurred to me: could this also be a Ghost Hunger AU where Danny also feeds on emotions? 🤔 Let's keep it on maybe, because with Luffy around it would be like a nuclear reactor to feed on. No, I changed mind again, it's a YES, because there's no Ambient Ectoplasm in the One Piece world (contrary to what I headcanon Amity Park), so the only way for Danny to survive at all would be to stay on Luffy's side almost constantly.
And this leads me to the timeskip separation: because of the battle with Kizaru and the Pacifistas, and consequent use of 1-2 Wails, Danny has to retreat to his Core (first time ever happened), causing panic and forcing Luffy to stash it in the ribbon of his hat due to the heat of the battle (and so be separated along with him).
Danny stays unconscious two whole arcs, until Luffy is about to die of poison on Level 5 of Impel Down. He still hasn't enough energy to manifest outside his Core, but he gives his Captain as much as he could to keep him alive until the Okamas find and save them; he continues to do so even during the Hormone Treatment, having received a boost from Bon Kure and the others' emotional cheering.
After a short rest (he fainted) made during the escape, Danny wakes up again at Luffy's Conqueror Haki shout and given how much death and despair there's in the air, he's able to manifest again and speed up the rescue.
Who lives and who dies? No clue, but given my bleeding heart, Ace Lives, but not without grave injuries for the three of them (maybe so much that Danny ends again into his Core).
I just realized that this could end with Danny adopted officially into the ASL (Luffy had already started the process)... Our boy Danny is so Adoptable™ LMAO
Sabo regains his memories at the news of the close call and hijacks any mode of transportation to reach the trio. Two years timeskip happen with quartet bonding and training, then into the New World We Go!
Nothing else comes to mind at the moment, but I guess that I already said enough, don't I? (≧∇≦)

DP AU where ghosts are invisible to non-ghosts by default:
Ghosts still can be visible, but it's an active power like how invisibility is in canon, and other ghosts can still see them when invisible, so most don't really see a point to it.
Halfas are always at least slightly visible, even in ghost form. When switching forms, they retain the same level of visibility.
All ghosts, halfa or otherwise, are entirely intangible, except to other ghosts. Most can switch to full tangibility at will.
This has certain consequences:
Since Danny can be seen by ghosts, and partially seen by humans, there's little to no tactical advantage to being "invisible".
In most cases, Phantom is the only ghost seen fighting, and is therefore blamed for almost all of the property damage by ghosts (even if he wasn't present).
Most people aren't entirely sure Phantom is a ghost, despite the name. After all, he claims to be fighting ghosts, but can't or won't explain why people can see him and not the rest. Since he's the only "ghost" most people have seen, there's no concrete evidence that ghosts exist.
Phantom having a secret identity is public knowledge. There's not really a strong investigation (just the local police), since he's mostly regarded as a non-violent vandal.
It's way harder for him to get to the scene of a fight. What with the lack of ghost awareness, his only alert systems are his ghost sense and word of mouth that "something weird is going on" or "that Phantom guy is up to something again".
As an added bonus, Danny gets in a lot more trouble for skipping class (not that he didn’t get in a lot before), because there's no panic over ghost attacks until Phantom shows up, and it's minimal even then.
The Fentons still believe in ghosts, but they're not considered to be reputable. They think Phantom is a special kind of ghost, and that he's some sort of leader to them. (They're not entirely wrong on the first, and the second is somewhat true later on if Danny becomes the Ghost King.)
The GIW have no reason to exist, at least not as a "government organization". If they do exist, it's as a large-scale group of "paranormal investigators".
Valerie blaming Phantom for her father's demotion makes way more sense, since Cujo was invisible the whole time. There's more of a backlash against the Huntress, because she's more of a standard vigilante. Her weapons are mostly designed to work on humans, but some of them work on halfas, too. (Vlad couldn't give her weapons that only worked on full ghosts, because she was bound to use them on "criminals" besides Phantom.) She still calls Phantom "ghost", but it's less of a dehumanizing identifier, and more of an effort to intentionally get his name wrong. Danny may or may not think this means she believes in ghosts.
The Phanclub is much smaller, and mostly consists of "Phantom believers" who trust that Phantom is telling the truth about ghosts, and that he really is protecting Amity Park. A minority of Phans think he really is responsible for at least some of the property damage, but forgive/respect him for one reason or another. Sam and Tuck pretend to be part of this group, Sam because "he's calling attention to the poor construction and maintenance of public and commercial infrastructure", and Tuck because "you've gotta respect a guy who occasionally gets school canceled and blames it on ghosts. absolute legend." Wes is perma-banned from the club for repeated attempts to convince its members that Phantom is really Danny Fenton, the kid who skips half his classes to go to the bathroom and couldn't knock down a wall if he had a wrecking ball, let alone finger lasers. Danny himself could only be caught dead at a Phanclub meeting, because his parents would kill him if he were found supporting a ghost.
Feel free to ask me more if I missed something, but as of right now, I think this post is long enough already. XD

Made a mini au a while back for a tokyo revengers x dp crossover lol and how they would interact with danny and come to meet him so here is some of my rambling from Twitter
Adding on to my trxdp rambling part 1.
Danny has a ton of respect for most of toman especially Hina the amount of crap she has to go through for & because of takemichi and still sticking by him amazing. I'd like to think they are besties danny & Emma are the people she go's to complain
The thing that danny respects the most about Hina is that regardless of how caring and understanding she is she has a hell of a backbone something he hopes takemichi starts to learn and is trying to teach him
Danny doesn't like mikey or shin very much mainly because shins choices led to the problems & suffering toman and mitchy go through (danny sore the timelines & shit from clockwork before coming to tr) & blames shinshiro for the way mikey turns out he hides his feelings about them.
Danny can catch glimpses of the dead even from dif timelines he sees alot of shin floating around has even had a brief conversation with him
Part 2
Danny is mistaken for mitchi ALOT even when mitchi has died hair so danny because of this is quickly introduced to alot of the cast in a short amount of time. danny is quite fond of michi and trys to to help him as much as clockwork will allow with timeleeps (danny is placed in tr as a moral for takemichi like a sort of guide)
Danny understands mitchi and mitchi understands danny (to an extent) and they have alot in common they get along really well danny sees michi as a barely formed baby ghost he can tell mitchi has been touched by death. Mitchi sees danny as like a mother figure almost. father doesn't fit or brother
Dannys very obviously is wary of mikey not because of what he becomes but because he's an idiot that doesn't try to notice the problems he's creating for the future even when he does learn about the timelines and because he refuses to ecnolge takemichis warning about kisaki
Danny doesn't like chifuyu much or atlest doesn't trust him because he can tell he doesn't see michi as michi even if he doesn't realize it he compares mitchi to bagji like some sort of replacement and sure in the beginning it was cool but since his death he doesn't trust chifu
He'd rather die again then let chifu be trusted with mitchys emotions and time travel not until he can see michi as his own person and not a replacement
He's more or less the medic/mother figure he has the most experience with injuries and most of the gang go's to him for medical reasons
His powers are more or less restricted spending alot of time in grave yards or cemeterys he doesn't transform much because of the problems he's been warned it could create

So I’ve been thinking about it a while and the rise boys are gonna be different then they are in the show. Like splinter was hella depressed and that affected how the kids grew up
Like Raph was the oldest and had to play parent when dad couldn’t
Leo didn’t get enough attention or praise so he started doing it himself making him look full of himself
Donnie also didn’t get enough attention causing him to seek it out wherever he could sometimes ignoring red flags
Mikey had to be the family therapist to take care of his brothers mental health because no one else could
But being raised by the 12 boys? They’d be better off. Even just a little bit. I think some stuff would still shine through but maybe for different reasons. In Japanese culture who is the oldest sibling means a lot. Splinter raised Leo like that and I think wether he means to or not he’s gonna treat Ralphie the same way (Raph doesn’t want to do that to him coz he saw what a toll it took on Leo) which means Ralphies not gonna go savage mode when he’s alone or have as bad separation anxiety
Leon and Danny are going to get enough attention and praise here meaning Leon for sure is gonna seem less full of himself maybe even have less self esteem issues. Danny is way less likely to ignore red flags because an adult showed some interest in him
And Mikey might still have dr delicate touch but I feel like that would come about more as being the youngest and needing a tough personality to clash with his brothers
Tho of course spending that time with Draxum is defo gonna leave it’s mark on the kids (but that’s another ask)
The boys are definitely better off in the au!
A fun Idea that kinda came from this was Ralphie and Leon sharing the leader role once Sensei Leo makes the call. Ralphie as eldest HAS been carrying the burden of leader for a while so Leo decides the have him split leadership with Leon early on.
This leads to a bit of tension between Ralphie and Leon early on but the two talk it out, and talk with Leo about it. Leo knows the burden of Eldest Son so he wants to lessen it by splitting it up between two.
Few years down the line Leon and Ralphie and full functioning leaders of the younger Hamato’s. Hell even sometimes they let Danny and Mikey call the shots to have them get a feel for leadership!
With Danny and Leon both definitely get all the attention they wanted when they were younger (my Mona and Uncle Mikey respectively) so if anything they reallly lean into the theater kid aspect but without the need for attention nor constant validation. They know how good they are.
They do still have huge egos though because of it. But recognize much more obvious red flags now.
Mikey not having to use Dr. Delicate touch as often leads to the persona being left at its early stages of Mikey being is say emotionally sensitive to those around him? Like he can read a room in an instant and can read people better. Just because the boys weren’t raised by Rise splint doesn’t mean he hasn’t seen PTSD episodes and the like.
Very much a person who still tries to help everyone emotionally.
Ralphie definitely has more confidence in his brothers, though he still haggles a bit about Little Mikey going out on a mission alone. Who knows his brothers can handle themselves pretty well in a fight, Leon and his silver tongue, Danny and his use of brain games and Mikey with his mastery of ‘Ninja Vanish’.
They can work well on their own and greater when together. Ralphie definitely heads a more ‘bad cop’ vibes to Leon’s ‘suave-cop’, which he uses to his advantage with his size and appearance.
His still a softhearted turtle under that spiky shell, and yes sometimes he doesn’t like being seen as the scary one but it has its advantages! Especially when you’re well trained in a fight.

How did everyone meet their respective giants/tinies in your stardew au?
Did Serena/Jacob just happen to head in the mines/forest on a very bad luck day and suffered the conquences or is it kinda an abridged version of their main stories, but they are just in less shitty/horrible circumstances than their mainline counterparts?
I'm going to assume that everyone else has a pretty simular backstory to their mainline counterparts since there probably isn't too much that had to be changed for their stories to work in this au.
Ie. Jasper, Milo, and etc.
Little bit of both, it's sort of implied that this town is a hub of activity, which led to ABC and Athena keeping watch for the giant monsters and aliens respectively.
Serena would have been stalked/kidnapped while walking home at night and upon surviving, be recruited to work at the ABC Superstore (which is essentially Joja/Best Buy). If you have good friendship with her, she'll gift you various surveillance gear that you can use for Felix's mission to gather different types of "strange evidence". You can find redacted files that explain chunks of her story, and one day per season she'll be extremely spacey and may reveal extra details if you talk to her
No one knows what happened to Jacob, just that he went missing in the woods for a couple days and now refuses to go anywhere near them, except to look for Reagan whenever she goes in. He pretends it doesn't bother him but still refuses to talk about it and insists you shouldn't go messing around in there. You can find clues about a meteor shower the night he went missing and his sketchbook in the woods, so he was probably out there doing nature studies for art before he got yoinked.
You can overhear conversations between Jacob and Reagan about him warning Reagan that the woods are too dangerous, while she insists that the kitties are nice and one of them wants Jacob to come back and play again. If you find Reagan's toys in the woods and return them, you'll gain her friendship, and thus win Ylva's favor. Jacob tends to babysit her on weekends and festival days, so they've probably had plenty of previous playdates in the woods, hence why Reagan would go and find the kitties on her own adventure
Kumiko is an exchange student for college, Taiyo simply followed her. Which sucks, because the reason she went to an abroad college was to be halfway across the globe from him.
Jasper's story is pretty cut and dry from his original fic. You can find the journal notes in the cliff tunnels from C.A.R and himself. The lighthouse island is closed during winter though, so he'll be on the mainland and Deus will be hibernating.
Dean and Jamie already know each other as their stories have taken place in their hometowns previously. Dean is allegedly here on "business" and Jamie followed for no particular reason at all and certainly not to make sure news about Negasonic doing something nefariously illegal doesn't pop up for Nano to stop.
Felix will only meet Athena after enough evidence has been collected for him to launch an investigation in the desert region, where he'll finally catch her and start a similar plotline to their canon story.
Ben has already accidentally adopted Milo at this point, but it's still a vary fresh relationship, so he may ask things about parenting and pet ownership but get very uncomfortable if you press for details. You're also not allowed in his home unless you have a high enough friendship and proof of borrower activity. After he trusts you, you can actually go to his house and meet Milo, which will then boost your status with local borrowers and increase the chances they'll leave you with a gift every so often.
Don't ask Mayor Danny about anything, she doesn't know what the fuck is going on, but she'd got a rly comfy chair to sit in at town hall (:

He Just Can’t Help It
cw:timmy being horny, cursing, mentions of masturbation, mentions of wet dreams, dirty talk. all characters are aged up and of age
Tumblr media
to the untrained eye, most people would assume that Timmy has absolutely no respect for you when in all actuality,he has nothing BUT respect for you,you just also make him so horny he forgets to be normal also
and listen, listen! it’s not his fault, you’re the first woman (besides wanda or his mother)to speak to him with slight affection since Trixie. and the only reason that Danny and Jimmy let him do the things he does is because they know he respects you, more than he does them.
now granted if anyone else heard the way Timmy spoke to you they’d be ready to knock his head off his shoulders
“oh come on y/n! just let me motorboat you this once and i promise i’ll stop asking for a week!”
Jimmy and Danny both rolled their eyes at Timmy’s recent antics as you shook your head yet again before leaving the lab, prefacing it with needing to look into a tip the team had received
and as soon as you were out the lab and out of earshot,Timmy let’s put a loud groan as he slammed his head into the table and groaned loudly again
the whole problem Timmy always had when it came to being face to face with you is that he fumbles, again it’s not his fault! you’re just so pretty and he can’t control his mouth sometimes
it’s not like he wants to be like this,he wants to be like Danny and actually be able to be around you and not make a fool of himself,he can’t just help the fact that he really, really, really wants to take you back to his room and make you squeal his name the way you do when he scares you
and anyone would think he’d be like this with other girls and they would think wrong,Timmy couldn’t give less than two fucks about other girls, not when there’s you. hell this man becomes antisocial when there’s other girls around, glaring at them from across the room, but as soon as you enter the room he becomes the brightest ray of sunshine
pulling you as close as he can to him on the couch while his mind just starts to roll through all the dirty thoughts he’s had about you in the last hour, taking the chance to whisper them in your ear while ignoring everyone else in the room
“do you wanna guess how many times i’ve thought about bending you over the kitchen counter while you make dinner? wonder how well you can remember a recipe while I knock around that pretty little brain of yours. always look so pretty flutterin’ around in there..”
he gets so annoyed when one of the other girls try and interject into your “conversation”,trying to pipe in and tell TImmy how’d he’d have so much more fun with her than he would with you,he glared at her
“did i fuckin’ ask? cause i honestly don’t remember asking a non fuckin factor about who’d i enjoy spending my time with, now go find Danny or Manny or someone and go give ‘em a blowie, huh?!”
he becomes so much more mouthy and stupid when you’re in your glasses, claiming you needed a break from your contacts while Jimmy chimed in about how it was always better to do one thing or another, Timmy didn’t know, all he knew was that he wanted one thing in his entire life in that moment
so later that evening, when you were sitting on the couch between him and Danny while in your comfy oversized shirt and shorts that he swore didn’t even deserve to be called such,he just let his mouth take control
“can i jack off over your face and cum on your glasses?”
soda sprayed out of Danny’s nose at Timmy’s boldness and you just stared at him wide eyed and mouth slightly agape, that’s when Timmy took the second shot
“close your mouth before i stick something in it”
“Dude!”
Danny yelled as he stared at Timmy astonished and you quickly closed your mouth and your cheeks burned
“I um,I-i’m gonna go grab a snack.”
and you quickly got up and made your way to the kitchen while Timmy slid down in his seat and groaned into his hoody,Danny side eyed the younger man and shook his head
“Waaay too far this time my guy,I mean i know we were both thinking it but come on,have some decorum”
Timmy glared at him slightly before standing up
“well excuse the fuck outta me! we all can’t be mr.smooth fuckin talker like you Danny!”
before storming off for his room, pulling his hood up over his hat while he tried to get down the corridor and into his room as quickly as he could,he was almost there. just round the corner and-
THUD! OOF!
timmy runs smack dab right into you, knocking you flat on your butt, both of your eyes widened as you both realized who it was and timmy’s cheeks burned red as he scrambled to help you up while trying his best not to make a fool of himself more
“ahh,f-fuck,here come on get up. a-are you good? yeah? okay good”
he rushes through the entire thing because if he doesn’t get away from you quick enough he already knows he’s gonna say something stupid
and as soon as he’s in his room with the door slammed shut,he’s sliding down the door with his head in his hands right before groaning shy and letting his head fall back against the door over and over again
“sweet fuckin goin there Timothy, ‘can i jack off over your face and cum on your glasses’ like who the actual hell asks that out loud”
he quietly reprimanded himself as he readied for bed, plopping down on his bed as he let out a yawn and a sigh before slowly falling asleep
and you would think this is where poor timmy would get some reprieve from his brain just making him think the most dirtiest and debauched things about you and yet again dear reader, you would be wrong
no at this point of him reaching REM sleep his mind is in overdrive, all of the dirty thoughts just hiding in the crevices in his mind come out of hiding and make themselves known, slamming themselves into the door of his dream world where he keeps his version of you hidden
the version he’s not afraid to speak to and tell all of his innocent thoughts to,the version he can be open and honest with and not worry about making a fool of himself in front of
that’s until the first thought slips through the door and slams right in,corrupting the soft warmth and plushness his perfect world currently held, every single thing the thought touches turns grimy and dirty
and the rest of the thoughts follow and now he’s left looking at their version of you,the one that’s always just so willing to let him touch you in anyway he wants, letting him pull you into him, under him
the version that sings his name just oh so sweetly it makes him tremble while you pull him into you more and more, closer and deeper and-
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
“no no no! fuck come on it was just about to get so good!”
the version of you looked up at him sadly while he whined and tried to cling to you before reality ripped him away and he was back and alone in his bedroom at headquarters
he groaned loudly as he punched the pillow next to him before slamming his hand down on his alarm and sitting up in his bed before pulling back his blankets
“are you fuckin serious universe… i’m 26 I shouldn’t still be having wet dreams!”
timmy grunted softly as he rose from his bed and headed to his bathroom to take care of his issue and get ready for the day, giving himself a pep talk about how he was going to be normal around you today and actually THINK before speaking
he nodded to himself some as he started down the corridor for the kitchen where you were making breakfast for everyone, this was his chance
“good mornin’ sweet tits! mind if i use a little of your milk for my coffee?”
fuck. hey,it’s not his fault
He just can’t help it
Tumblr media
well done that was fun to write 😶 but hey,i had to give some insight for why timmy is the way he is,like yeah he’s horny but it’s only for you!
