Ok, to be fair, you can only do so much as a ruler of a Kingdom which has been isolated from the others for so long which probably also resulted him in being a bit (or maybe a lot more than a bit) for social interactions

Malleus adores you to a level which is incomprehensible for the ordinary human mind. Heck, most likely for any mind

Yet his most beloved is at the moment pretty much the opposite of him. Most unelegant they screamed at the poor bakers of the Queendom of Roses for their bread

Not like those humans, pardon, NPCs could hear you but it was a rather silly sight to see you sprinting up to the next person like you were possessed and demanding their bread

Could it be that there was a famine that led to you now demanding the food of others? But why especially bread? (I am not joking he is seriously asking himself that)

After sending Lilia out to check, just to be sure, he finally found out that no, you are not on the path of starvation, you are just silly

Might as well enjoy the show then. It's not every day that you see an otherworldly bring controlling a body being this interesting... not like he had seen another bodysnatcher like you before

When he noticed the havoc you caused in your wake he could not hold it back anymore, bursting into laughter he swiped tears of joy from his cheeks

Why this moment was so funny to him was beyond him. Perhaps it was that small memory of another place far in the past, a human from another world, a room filled with all kinds of individuals enjoying their rather mediocre meal together

Perhaps he should humor you

Sending out Lilia yet again (the poor bas-) he ordered that you were brought a basket filled with the finest sentiment of breads

Soft bread, hard bread, bread with seeds, bread with a crunchy crust, bread that tasted spicy and much, much more

When that NPC tried to trade all that bread for a meager price which could barely feed a person for a day the oh-so-lighthearted atmosphere shifted immediately into something that can only be described by “Oh f, he did it”

“Lilia, when was the last time you sharpened your blade?” “Pardon?”

But hey, at e end off the day you had still your bread and everything was great and fine and dandy and yay and oh my god someone just got killed in a PG-13 game what the heck is going on??!

Lilia is someone who takes his duties very seriously

Be it conveying messages to all those that have paid the price of his ruler's benevolence or monitoring the one who connects the one controlling them and this world

At first, Lilia assumed that the one controlling the puppet wearing white and blue would be a cold-hearted tyrant who loved to watch an entire world being nothing more than a game to them

But then...

“SIR GIMME UR BREAAAAAD!” A most frightening battle cry, Lilia nearly fell off from the tree branch he was dangling from when he first heard it

Were you finally setting out to conquer this world? Was it finally time to draw his sword and- uh... huh? *Insert confused expression*

Instead of attacking a defenseless person you sprinted to the next one, repeating the same actions you did just a second ago

The general had expected something of a crueler nature, just how the Gods were at the dawn, not someone jumping up and down whilst demanding bread

But perhaps, this could be used to his benefit?

The next day you found a new NPC. How strange, haven't you walked down this path in the game many times before? His did you miss him?

Interacting with the young man you found out that he was a baker who specialised in bread

How funny! You made a show of wanting bread just yesterday

It was almost like the game was interacting with your real-life self... Nah. Must be your imagination

To your delight, the dialogue seemed to change every single day, ending with the baker telling you stories far too dangerous for a normal person like him to experience

Every following day the interactions with the young man became more and more interesting, and by interesting I mean they went more and more off the grid

Lilia had to tell you more stories from the past he could still remember. This started with him investigating by talking to you but after time, he got attached. What if you were to move on and leave him behind from boredom? After some time his filter started to stop much less from his past than before. Things that he would have sugar-coated before we're now on full display.

Just don't turn your affection to somebody else. You were such a refreshing new sight that he simply had to own your attention

Now now, play nice and do what he says. Otherwise you might find a few NPCs missing

I would love a otome game with the Diasomnia gang but I can already tell that I would feel guilty when I would finish a route and switch over to a new route 😭

Malleus’ route I feel would be the final route. The one where you have to play all the other routes just to unlock his. The poster boy route if you will, which makes sense because he technically is the poster boy for twst.

Malleus is the Crown Prince and you were betrothed to him. 

Your marriage to him was a political one to finally bring peace to both the human and fae race after hundreds of years of fighting.

He was cold to you because he didn’t know how to treat you.

He was strong and many of his kind feared him, so of course, you would fear him too.

not to say you weren’t at the beginning, but you slowly warmed up to him from the constant meetings you two had since you were young.

you saw the way people ignored and went out of their way to not interact with him, while you had friends who adored you.

so you made yourself a promise, while this marriage was a political one, you would love your dragon fae husband.

now Malleus, he wasn’t used to you.

You who would try your best to interact with him, and he tried to act cold towards you, but that all changed.

when you stayed by his side while he was sick, and you fed him soup.

you became the bright light to his dark days.

Anonie, you are going after my heart. I freaking love the friends to lover trope.

Silver and you were friends. 

you didn't know much about him besides the fact that you would meet up with him at the forest and play with him.

one day, he came to you and told you his family was moving away.

both of you were in tears and promised to meet again.

imagine to both your shock when you do meet again, it’s when you are visiting your another kingdom and the knight of the prince was your childhood friend.

I want to say, that silver is the character who is, no matter the route, the one who is always in love with you. All he wants is your happiness even if you do not choose him in the end.

he pledged his allegiance towards you and only you since you were young.

he followed all the rules and kept you guard even though you told him that he didn't need to.

He knows you might get betrothed in the future, but for you, he’s willing to sacrifice it all and escape with you if it means you will be happy.

ah Lilia Lilia Lilia, you mentioned traitorous gleam in his eyes and my mind went the yandere route, well I prefer the soft yandere usually.

in this route, I want to say that you and malleus are friends.

the kingdoms are friendly with each other and you both get along great.

your parents hope that you two will get along enough to get married.

now you and malleus study by the same tutor Lilia.

he’s funny and makes weird concoctions that you wouldn't dare try and eat. 

you are sure that you have developed a crush on him.

but you can’t help but wonder,

sometimes you see this particular gleam in his eyes that kind of gives you the shivers

but it must be your imagination, right?

why, he loves the innocence aura you give off.

he wants to be the one to corrupt it.

AU regrets

Alternate universe in which instead of a single person being dragged into Twisted Wonderland, two young people arrive, a "heroine" and a "villain"

The story would be the basics of many reincarnation manhwas/manga, both girls die in dubious situations and their souls reincarnate in two game characters (for the development of this story Twisted Wonderland would be an otome) where the "heroine" is not so good person as history makes her see and the "villain" is just a poor soul put in a bad situation.

WARNING: This has references to suicide and murder. Proceed with caution.

Let's imagine that the whole story progresses as the game is supposed to dictate, where the heroine saves all the main routes (the guys who end up having an overblot) and marries one of them or has the harem route, while the villain is killed/executed for the misdeeds she did against the heroine (even though they are not true).

The problem is that the villain and a character had a romantic relationship and because of the lies of the heroine, said character betrays the villain, which leads to her death, which everyone believes is justified or well deserved, including the lover of the villainess. Until said lover manages to see that the villain does not really die, she only returns to her original world in which she believes that everything that happened in Twisted Wonderland was just a dream and continues her life as if nothing had happened.

The punishment for the character is to see how his true love continues his life naturally without him, suffering great pain without being able to comfort her or seeing her fall madly in love with someone who is not him and even being able to witness her wedding with another man, while the he was never able to fill the void left by his departure.

The heroine is called Yuu and we will call the villain Saki to be able to continue with the story. To expand further I'll use Vil (cough one of my favorites cough) as an example of the villain's lover.

Vil really doesn't know what went through his mind when Yuu told him all those lies about Saki being cruel to her and Grim. He can't understand why he believed those absurd words about his little sweet potato talking bad about him behind his back and that of all the other dorm leaders; she sounded so convincing with those thick tears in her eyes and that crying and hiccuping when she spoke, he had to admit, Yuu was a great fucking actress to fool the whole school with that.

It didn't help that she had the whole world in love with her sweet praise and false sympathy towards their sad pasts and horrible experiences.

It took Vil a long time to realize that everything she told them was an elaborate lie, so long that by the time he wanted to take it back on throwing his lover away, she was already dead.

He wanted to lie to himself and try to convince himself that it was for the best, at least now she would not suffer any kind of harassment by the lies of a horrible woman and the stupidity of a group of men in love with the intellectual capacity of a potato.

For a while the lie worked, and he was able to move on with his life quietly for a couple of months. Until one morning Saki appears in his mirror.

She can't see or hear him, only Vil can see what his old girlfriend is up to, and for a while that's more than enough for him. Knowing that she's not really gone forever gives him hope that he can fix everything wrong he did to her and be able to meet her again. Would she forgive him? Of course she would. They loved each other! Most likely, Saki was waiting for him too.

Until he heard her having a conversation with a friend…

Saki thinks it was a dream, for her "Vil Schoenheit" is nothing more than a product of her imagination, a character from a popular game of which she only liked its "design". She is not waiting for him or pining to see him again, that sweet tune of love with which she used to pronounce his name is gone.

She doesn't even remember that they were a couple.

It hurts, it hurts so much that he feels his heart tighten just by listening to how the conversation turns into a retelling of all the lies he believed, how he betrayed her and abandoned her as if she were nothing more than a old pair of shoes. And what kills him the most is that she only laughs when she tells it, because that was "just a dream" it never happened and nothing that happened really affects her now, in her true reality.

Vil knows that this is his punishment, that some god (possibly one related to love) saw the horrible sin he committed against his beloved and condemned him to see her move on without him.

There were good days and bad days, the good days were when her little sweet potato was getting ready for school or hanging out with her friends, listening to her humming popular songs or having conversations on the phone.

The bad ones were when she spoke of love, love that was not addressed to him but to another person, another name; when she dressed up for romantic dates and spent hours in the mirror trying to find the best outfit, he knew how she looked when the dates went well, she came back and hummed while she danced silly in her room. Vil wanted to tear his hair out, scream that this “someone” she was seeing wasn't half the man she deserved.

But it hurt more to see her have a bad date. It burned his soul.

He couldn't erase from his memory the first time someone stood her up and she spent hours crying in front of her mirror, without him being able to hold her and comfort her so that her crying would stop.

There was a moment when Saki took her boyfriend to her room and Vil watched in horror as they shared what would be her first real kiss.

He got so mad that he broke the mirror and spent hours trying to put all the little pieces together to fix it.

He was afraid that he might never see her again. It killed him slowly to see her continue as if he had never been anything in her life, but it would kill him even slower not to be able to know anything more about her.

Years go by in which Vil learns to live that way, outside he pretends to be a completely capable and carefree person, but inside the walls of his house he lives it in front of his mirror, seeing the life of his sweet Saki advance.

Rook knows about this, he got to see Saki's reflection only once and tries to convince Vil that this is not healthy and he should let her go, but to no avail.

His breaking point was when he returned from a recording and saw her standing in a beautiful white dress with a bouquet of flowers in her hand. The most beautiful smile he has ever seen drawn on the face of his beloved.

She was going to marry someone else.

Vil for the first time in a long time drank all his sadness in alcohol and sleeping pills. The last thing he heard before falling asleep was "What are you willing to give to have a second chance?"

His answer was "Anything"

He woke up in the middle of the entrance ceremony, standing among the former dorm leaders waiting for Headmaster Crowley.

To say he was confused was an understatement, a minute ago he was at home destroying his liver and kidneys, and out of nowhere he was 18 again.

He felt dizzy and with a terrible desire to return everything that was in his stomach, his mouth tasted bitter and he had chills.

He saw Saki enter along with Crowley, the stupid cat Grim and the damned witch who ruined both his life and the life of his beloved sweet potato.

He had to use all his will power not to break out of his formation and take her in his arms, kiss her and tell her how much he loved her.

If he was correct, he was back in time, long before he had made the mistakes that had led to his downfall. He watched with all the calm in the world as neither Yuu nor Saki were drawn in any dormitory due to their lack of magic.

He decided to take the first step in making amends when he offered to take one of the two new girls under his wing and give her a place in his dorm.

It was almost hilarious to see how excited Yuu thought it would be her, but it was much better to see her face of anger and confusion when he said that the chosen one would be Saki. His excuse? She has a much simpler face and sees hidden potential! No need to worry, he won't do anything extreme to polish this new little gem.

Oh! his cute and cuddly sweet potato, he'll get it right this time and he doesn't care what price he has to pay to get it done.

I think this is one of the longest things I've ever written and it's not even a complete story, just an idea.

Universo alterno en el que en vez de que una sola persona sea arrastrada a Twisted Wonderland lleguen dos jóvenes, una “heroína” y una “villana”

La historia sería lo básico de muchos manhwas/mangas de reencarnación, ambas chicas mueren en situaciones dudosas y sus almas reencarnan en dos personajes del juego (para el desarrollo de esta historia Twisted Wonderland sería un otome) donde la “heroína” no es tan buena persona como la hace ver la historia y la “villana” solo es una pobre alma puesta en una mala situación.

ADVERTENCIA: Esto tiene referencias a suicidio y asesinato. Avance con precaución.

Imaginemos que toda la historia avanza como se supone que lo dicta el juego, donde la heroína salva a todas las rutas principales (los chicos que terminan teniendo un overblot) y se casa con alguno de ellos o tiene la ruta del harem, mientras que la villana es asesinada/ejecutada por las fechorías que hizo en contra de la heroína (aunque no sean ciertas).

El problema es que la villana y un personaje tenían una relación romántica y por las mentiras de la heroína dicho personaje traiciona a la villana lo que la lleva a su muerte, la cual todos creen que está justificada o es bien merecida, incluyendo el amante de la villana. Hasta que dicho amante logra ver que la villana no muere realmente, solo regresa a su mundo original en el cual ella cree que todo lo que pasó en Twisted Wonderland fue solo un sueño y continúa su vida como si nada hubiera pasado.

El castigo para el personaje es ver como su verdadero amor continúa su vida de forma natural sin él, sufriendo grandes dolores sin poder consolarla o verla caer perdidamente enamorada de alguien que no es él e incluso poder presenciar su boda con otro hombre, mientras que el nunca pudo llenar el vacío que le dejó su partida.

La heroína se llama Yuu y a la villana la llamaremos Saki para poder continuar con la historia. Para expandirme más usare a Vil (cof*uno de mis favoritos*cof) como ejemplo del amante de la villana.

Vil realmente no sabe lo que le pasó por la cabeza cuando Yuu le dijo todas esas mentiras sobre Saki siendo cruel con ella y con Grim. No logra comprender porque creyó en esas palabras tan absurdas sobre su pequeño camote hablando mal de él a sus espaldas y la de todos los demás líderes de dormitorio; sonó tan convincente con esas gruesas lágrimas en sus ojos y ese llanto e hipo al hablar, tenía que admitirlo, Yuu fue una gran maldita actriz para engañar a toda la escuela con eso.

No ayudó que tuviera a todo el mundo enamorado con sus dulces elogios y falsa simpatía hacia sus tristes pasados y horribles experiencias.

A Vil le tomó mucho tiempo darse cuenta que todo lo que les dijo fue una elaborada mentira, tanto tiempo que para cuando se quiso retractar de haber tirado lejos a su amante, ella ya estaba muerta.

Quiso mentirse a sí mismo y tratar de convencerse de que era lo mejor, al menos ahora no sufriría ningún tipo de acoso por las mentiras de una horrible mujer y la estupidez de un grupo de hombres enamorados con la capacidad intelectual de una patata.

Por un tiempo la mentira funcionó, y pudo avanzar con su vida tranquilamente un par de meses. Hasta que una mañana Saki aparece en su espejo.

Ella no puede verlo ni oírlo, solo Vil puede ver lo que su antigua novia hace, y por un tiempo eso es más que suficiente para él. Saber que realmente no se ha ido para siempre le da una esperanza de poder arreglar todo lo malo que le hizo y poder reunirse con ella otra vez ¿Ella lo perdonaría? Claro que lo haría ¡Se amaban! Lo más probable es que Saki estuviera esperándolo también.

Hasta que la escucho tener una conversación con una amiga…

Saki piensa que fue un sueño, para ella “Vil Schoenheit” no es más que un producto de su imaginación, un personaje de un juego popular del cual solo le gusto su “diseño”. No está esperándolo ni suspirando por volverlo a ver, esa dulce tonada de amor con la que solía pronunciar su nombre ya no está.

Ella ni siquiera recuerda que hayan sido pareja.

Duele, le duele tanto que siente que se le aprieta el corazón de solo seguir escuchando el cómo la conversación se convierte en un recuento de todas las mentiras que se creyó, en cómo la traicionó y la abandonó como si no fuera nada más que un par de zapatos viejos. Y lo que más lo mata es que ella solo se ríe cuando lo cuenta, porque eso fue “solo un sueño” jamas paso y nada de lo que ocurrió realmente le afecta ahora, en su verdadera realidad.

Vil sabe que este es su castigo, que algún dios (posiblemente uno relacionado con el amor) vio el horrible pecado que cometió contra su amada y lo condenó a verla avanzar sin él.

Había días buenos y días malos, los días buenos eran en los que su pequeño camote se arreglaba para ir a la escuela o salir con sus amigos, en los que la escuchaba tararear canciones populares o tener conversaciones a través del teléfono.

Los malos eran cuando ella hablaba de amor, amor que no iba dirigido a él sino a otra persona, otro nombre; cuando se arreglaba para citas románticas y pasaba horas en el espejo tratando de buscar el mejor atuendo, el sabia como se miraba cuando las citas iban bien, ella regresaba y tarareaba mientras bailaba tontamente en su cuarto. Vil quería arrancarse el cabello, gritar que ese “alguien” que estaba viendo no era ni la mitad de hombre de lo que ella merecía.

Pero le dolía más verla tener una mala cita. Le quemaba el alma.

No podía borrar de su memoria la primera vez que la dejaron plantada y pasó horas llorando enfrente de su espejo, sin que él pudiera abrazarla y consolarla para que su llanto parara.

Hubo un momento en el que Saki llevó a su novio a su habitación y Vil vio con todo el horror del mundo como compartían lo que sería su primer beso real.

Se enojó tanto que rompió el espejo y pasó horas tratando de juntar todas las pequeñas piezas para arreglarlo.

Tenía miedo de nunca poder volverla a ver. Lo mataba lentamente verla continuar como si él jamás hubiera sido nada en su vida, pero lo mataría aun mas lento no poder saber nada mas de ella.

Pasan años en los que Vil aprende a vivir de esa forma, fuera finje ser una persona completamente capaz y sin preocupaciones, pero dentro de las paredes de su casa se la vive enfrente de su espejo, viendo la vida de su dulce Saki avanzar.

Rook sabe de esto, llegó a ver el reflejo de Saki una única vez e intenta convencer a Vil de que esto no es saludable y debe dejarla ir, pero sin ningún resultado.

Su punto de quiebre fue cuando regresó de una grabación y la vio parada con un hermoso vestido blanco y un ramo de flores en mano. La sonrisa más hermosa que él jamás haya visto dibujada en el rostro de su amada.

Ella se iba a casar con alguien más.

Vil por primera vez en mucho tiempo bebió toda su tristeza en alcohol y pastillas para dormir. Lo último que escuchó antes de quedarse dormido fue un “¿Qué estás dispuesto a dar para tener una segunda oportunidad?”

Su respuesta fue “Cualquier cosa”

Se despertó en medio de la ceremonia de entrada, estaba de pie entre los antiguos líderes de dormitorio esperando por el Director Crowley.

Decir que estaba confundido era poco, hace un minuto estaba en su casa destruyendo su hígado y riñones, y de la nada tenía 18 años de nuevo.

Se sentía mareado y con unas terribles ganas de regresar todo lo que estuviera en su estómago, la boca le sabía amarga y tenía escalofríos.

Vio a Saki entrar junto con Crowley, el estupido gato Grim y la maldita bruja que arruinó tanto su vida como la de su amado camote.

Tuvo que usar toda su fuerza de voluntad para no salir de su formación y tomarla entre sus brazos, besarla y decirle lo mucho que la amaba.

Si estaba en lo correcto, había regresado en en tiempo, mucho antes de haber cometido los errores que lo llevaron a su ruina. Vio con toda la calma del mundo como ni Yuu ni Saki eran sorteadas en ningún dormitorio por su falta de magia.

Decidió dar el primer paso para enmendar sus errores cuando se ofreció a tomar una de las dos chicas nuevas bajo su ala y darle un lugar en su dormitorio.

Fue casi hilarante ver como Yuu se emocionaba creyendo que sería ella, pero fue mucho mejor ver su cara de ira y confusión cuando el dijo que la elegida sería Saki ¿Su excusa? ¡Ella tiene un rostro mucho más sencillo y ve potencial oculto! No hay por qué preocuparse, no hará nada extremo para pulir a esta pequeña y nueva joya.

Oh! su lindo y tierno camote, él hará las cosas bien esta vez y no le importa el precio que tenga que pagar para lograrlo.

Creo que esta es una de las cosas más largas que he llegado a escribir y ni siquiera es una historia completa, solo una idea.

¡Siéntase libre de agregar cosas o intentar escribir esto desde el punto de vista de cualquier otro personaje! si llegan a hacer eso me encantaría que me etiquetaran para poder verlo.

i'm probably gonna add ships but they're more side stuff and in the background in comparison to the main plot. i'll probably add adeuce, silrid (is that their ship name?), and clara x yanqing x misha (i have been thinking about this all day). but again, they're more in the background and implied. they're trying to survive overblots and go home, not live in an otome game.

Even if Obey Me was still a visual novel game but without the romance, there is a lot that could change. We'd have a lot less of the characters vying for the player's attention, meaning the game would also be less prone to gag-type situations and allow for a consistently more serious storyline. It could be something like Twisted Wonderland, where the MC still has a role but it isn't as big nor central to the conflicts and problems of the story, thus playing more of an observer role.

The devs actually mentioned in early videos that when making the game, they had to scale back some of their ideas because they "didn't want it to feel too much like an adventure game" and still focus on the romance since it was a dating sim. Interestingly, Nightbringer seems to be testing the waters on this now and going back to a more dramatic story, so maybe we'll actually get to see that kind of adventure vibe now!

If the game was still following the main points of gathering pacts with the demon brothers...well, maybe we really are just becoming Solomon 2.0 at that point, new title is Solomon Simulator 2023 BC. But really, there would probably be less of MC playing therapist and more letting us have adventures of our own, exploring the world in various ways. Hell, MC might even be living in Purgatory Hall with the other exchange students instead of oddly being the only one put in the House of Lamentation. And this more adventurous theming could also be reflected in events, with more AU themes (Pirates, Spies, Circus, etc) that allow for more fun event storylines that aren't so focused on "romantic" situations and fanservice moments.

Going along with that, we would likely get more character variety in a non-otome game, since it wouldn't be trying to make every character (except Luke) dateable or potentially future-dateable -- less ikemen, more non-male characters, maybe more body diversity! And because there'd be no expectation of romance, you could have more outright hostility too. Maybe Mephisto and Raphael could have actually fulfilled the more aggressive or antagonistic personalities they had been hinted to have! There might also be more of a canonical MC character personality too, since part of the reason it's left more open and vague is to let players self-insert for the romance. This could allow for more narration from MC as well.

Now, if we step away from the Visual Novel style, that could open up a whole new world of possibilities! Imagining OM as more of a fantasy RPG? Super fun thought.

Other characters could potentially be playable, and if so, we could perhaps see more of the characters without MC needing to be in the scene, allowing for more interactions between different characters outside the current format of occasional side/hard-mode stories.

We'd probably get a truer combat system too, even if we were just fighting random minor demons or something like the Little D's in Nightbringer's gameplay. (Apparently the only instruction the team got in making the original game was "it needs dance battles"???) The characters' skills could also be more unique to the characters since it wouldn't have to fit the rhythm/dance game format, so stuff like summoning Lotan could actually be a useful powerful thing instead of just a running gag! In fact, we could see way more powerful magic from all the characters, which would be great since OM as it is now just always conveniently forgets that these are extremely powerful demons for the sake of setting up random shenanigan situations.

A combat mechanic could also add to the narrative design of the game -- what better way to show us what a scary and dangerous place the Devildom is than to have the player have to defend themselves while navigating through it? Or imagine the characters' relationships with one another actually mattering to the gameplay, like Beel and Belphie getting a boost if they're in the party together, as with Fire Emblem's support system! Simeon being a healing angel member of the party at the start and then actually tangibly losing that as a combat ability when that part of the story happened? It would certainly hit different, that's for sure.

The story also wouldn't be confined to the 20-lesson format in that case, which could give more room for fleshing things out properly. And with a freer adventure-based storyline, it might also be a lot less focus on RAD, or maybe it wouldn't be a school setting at all! Perhaps it would focus more on the inter-realm diplomacy parts of the story. Plus, some aspects could get relegated to more environmental storytelling and interactable objects around you, leaving character interactions freed up to focus more on actual events going on.

And speaking of character interactions, there could also be a more complex and interesting system for relationships in a more RPG style game. Instead of an intimacy bar that only ever goes up and doesn't directly impact story events, you could have a more complex interaction event system, like in Telltale stuff or Mass Effect. That could still include romance without it being the central point of the game, and maybe they would also hold grudges over certain decisions, which could feed back into the combat system somehow. Unlike now, you wouldn't be able to go back to change your decisions, but there's a lot of replayability potential there.

Of course, the downside to all that it's way more work to make...game dev is hard, after all! So updates would be slower, it'd probably cost a whole lot more, and it's probably not feasible as a mobile game anymore then. But hey, a game like that would be pretty damn cool.

Now back to that chapter with the hidden missions with which you could unlock the other hidden routes… why are you automatically back to his?

And what happened in the normal route made so much more sense now! Neige had always been pampered, skill and talent coming to him wiithout any effort

No wonder Vil had such a vandetta against him

It was also such a relief for Vil when he didn’t end like he was supposed to in the normal route, remembering how he felt the burn and how the world slowly turned black

Not only that, it was also nice for him to know that he wasn’t seen by you as some powerfull person but rather the ordinary person that he was deep down

And his after story was also one that was so heartwarming! Him talking to his raven about you, saying that he was happier than ever…

This is where I end the fluff and start to recommend tossing the game out of the window

You see, him talking to his raven was one of the red flags that wouldn’t be red flags in a normal relationship but are in the one you have

Did he just look at you instead at your avatar in the game??! Why was he so pricky? He was softer in his route…

Just at least try to stay away from the Shaftlands. There has been talk about their king looking into arts that are able to influence other worlds…

Malleus didn't even receive an e-mail because he doesn't have one. The man can't even figure out how a Tamagachi works. Sorry, Malleus, it's the truth. (I also don't see anyone refuting his perception, so Twisted Wonderland is an otome game to him until proved otherwise.)

Jack is 100% a main shoujo love interest. He's just too good, too pure, and keeps accidentally doing the cutest things in my current fic AU. I didn't plan it. The shoujo life just took Jack by the hand and didn't let go.

Platonic Self Aware!TWST boys x fem!Reader

Summary: Mc lived a very lonely life with only a game called Twisted Wonderland to be their only source of light and happiness not knowing the characters are aware that they were but game characters yet they still loved them.

Tiny rays of sunlight peaked through the windows curtains of a very run-down house.

It doesn't even look like a place a person could live in yet there is one residing in it.

Their neighbors would always talk about them, some looked at them with pity, while most of them doesn't even give a shit yet all of them never even bothered communicating with them nor trying to lend a hand after all they aren't their business after all.

The house owner would probably be the only one they commonly interact with which is mostly reminding or asking for the payment for the house.

Another would be the delivery guys that would deliver the fast food, cup noodles, and snacks that they would be ordering.

Yet the whole community rarely NO sees them come out, the last time they saw them go out was mostly would be just to take out their trash yet lately they've never come out anymore making their home an absolute mess and smelling like shit.

Nowadays they would just send a small envelope which would be delivered to the house owner containing the payment while when taking their food deliveries they would often just open the door ever so slightly and would just hand out the payment and grab the food immediately.

They were a stuck in just like a character in their favorite game but they are probably much worst than him.

Their house was a mess both inside and outside but the outside was fairly better than the inside.

With all the stacked-up manga, magazines, comics, books, and most commonly...garbage. Their house was filled with bags of chips, bottles, fast food containers, and cup noodles Everywhere!

That floor can't be seen anymore!

They couldn't bother cleaning.

Why should they?

'As if someone really cares about them...Ah, wait! There are!' That is what they thought as they quickly scavenged for their phone underneath all the pile of books and mainly trash, upon finding it they gave out a sigh of relief.

"Phew...If they were to see my mess...they would immediately scold me so damn much, haha. Now, who among them would be greeting me today!" They said as they quickly tap the logo of their favorite game.

"...I'm home!" They said as soon as the home screen came in, Azul came in and greeted them.

They squealed in delight. "OMG-AFGOGJBEJBOE AZUL!!! God, I fricking love you~! You cute little octobaby!"

Because of their constant simping, squealing, AND rolling around in the really small space left in their whole house which was their bed they never noticed anything odd and thought it was absolutely normal. Like how the characters would sometimes blush, show various emotion that wasn't even programmed, or the fact that the lines and things they would say would change.

Like simply right now Azul greeted them with the normal greeting whenever they would log in along with some other lines like "how are you my darling angelfish? You look absolutely stunning but do sleep like seriously look at that eye bags. You are starting to look exactly like an angelfish!"

"Aww! The game producers are fricking amazing at adding these lines! This isn't even an Otome game!!! BUT how did they know that I have eye bags? Mmh...maybe they assumed that most of their players have eyebags or something? Oh well...it was actually really comforting. So thank you Azul."

Little do they know from behind the screen the rest of the cast are ready to throw hands as soon as they heard it and saw that huge blush creep on the Azul's face. He is absolutely embarrassed after all a very dear friend had just complimented him!

"Great Sevens! I hate how he always wins whenever we would decide by playing Uno!" Ace complained.

"Shut up you got second place meaning on the next day you'll be the one to greet them next AND it was because you cheated!" Deuce whispered and shouted.

"Ohh, please! Then would you like to switch place with a certain pouty snake, Shishishi"

"No way! Why are you even helping him, Ruggie-senpai!"

"He promised to make me 3 boxes of donuts Oh, I'm just feeling like helping him!"

"We heard that you know...If you wanted to help him SO badly why don't you just switch with him instead."

Their day continued with lessons, vignettes, exams, events, and the main story which was Idia's time to get therapy.

They did their best to impress Mc and surprise them more! And of course, they would constantly change some of their lines and tried to communicate with Mc yet today was another day they would confide to them about their life although they aren't the ones on their home screen they could hear and see everything.

Which is something that Mc continuously ignores.

After staring for a long time at their screen mc paused for a while and slumped in their bed, their phone on top of their chest.

"Sigh. You know, you guys are my only friends and family. I wonder so many times if you could actually hear me and see me which would make sense but is also very silly. If I had a chance to make a wish it would be for you guys to be real. I felt so connected to all of you yet at the same time I am not." They said with a sad chuckle.

"Today is actually my mother's birthday yet I have nothing to offer to her. I'm too afraid to contact her along with the others that are very dear to me because... I am too afraid they might see me as a disappointment, I was an only child... so my dad is a very strict man and expected me to become a doctor/engineer/lawyer for success and stuff like that...and here am I living a shitty life jobless, a full-time freelance artist because I ain't listening to him, and the only thing keeping me sane is none other than you guys! All of you meant so so much to me...Thank you so much."They said as they wiped the tears they are shedding.

In a few minutes, they soon fell asleep with their phone still in their hand.

They stared at them sadly as they wish they could hug them right now all they could do was listen to their rant and chat with her a bit without being too suspicious.

"Do not fret child of man. We will soon find a way to either bring you here or bring us to you."

"YEAH! Then we could do many things together!!" Epel said excitedly.

"But of course, first of all, we are going to fix their trash like a house then help her regain their health and do a lot of skincare to fix their skin and train them to become a much decent man/woman." Vil stated.

"Oui Oui~ Mon Chéri! We will soon reunite and make a multitude of memories together!"

Every single day was similar to the last one yet Mc was starting to log in less they tried to figure out why, so Idia hacked into their phone and devices, and found out why. They were lacking finances and were finding ways to earn for their living expenses.

They were really concerned for them yet He/she still continue to log in even in the middle of the night, that they only have 5 hours of sleep A DAY! They had no sleep!

The NRC boys along with the staff tried reminding them, calling it out. But day by day it goes terrible to worst to so much more worst!

They aren't even eating anymore! Not just a day or two! It started with them eating only thrice a week then once, then thrice a month! and it continues to worsen so much more!

The boys couldn't do a thing! Warning or reminding them was of no use! Which leads them to work harder in finding a way to connect to their world. They didn't even notice that they've been logging in lesser and lesser till it came to a point that they didn't for a whole 2 months straight...

"What is happening! They haven't logged in for 2 months! Jamil what do we do! What do we do! Are we going to get deleted like our other selves?!!" Kalim frantically said.

"Calm down Kalim! I'm sure they won't...They must be too busy."

"Idia, did you finally find a way to hack their camera even if the device is turned off?" Lilia asked.

"I-I will soon! Ortho and I are looking through it but we did find out that their phone has a 90% battery charge which means it could possibly be on shut down but we are almost close to turning it on!" He reassured eyes remained glued on his PC as he tries to hack their Mc's device.

"WHY DID THE HUMAN TURN THEIR PHONE ON 'SHUT DOWN'! DO THEY NOT KNOW HOW MUCH THEY'RE AFFECTING WAKA-SAMA!"

"Sebek please tone down...And please stop lying I know full well that you are definitely worried about them much more worried than for Malleus-sama."

After 30 mins Idia jumped with joy as he ran carrying his tablet to the screen of Mc's phone!

"Finally I got it!!!"

"You did!" They all shouted as they scrambled to Idia which made him uncomfortable but tried to remain calm since it was for their Mc after all.

"It should open for about 5 mins." He said with a proud grin.

After 5 mins the screen lit up as they all celebrated.

"IT TURNED ON!!!"

They all brace themselves as Idia started unlocking Mc's phone and opening their app. So they could finally greet their Mc.

Yet they could not see them...

"Ehh!! Shrimpy's phone must have been under their pile of garbage again!" Floyd complained.

"Now now Floyd. Calm down."

"Sigh. Their home is a big trashbin far more worst than Savanahclaw's dorm, I wish I could go there and clean their mess so this won't happen again!"

"Wtf. did you say you shitty ass herbivore!"

"Maybe I could use a little magic and teleport it to the stand near their bed. " Malleus suggested.

"If you can do that why can't you just clean their whole room up!"

"If Malleus did wouldn't Mc feel spooked? They live in seclusion after all who would clean their house? They might live in paranoia later on." Lilia commented.

"Not the time to argue about Mc's trashy room, Malleus-san just proceed with teleporting the device."

They all agreed as they watch in excitement as Malleus teleport the device to their Mc's bed.

They all readied to cheer Mc up once again!

But what they saw would forever haunt them as the sight made them shiver down to their bones.

"That-that can't be..." Kalim said as he lost the strength to keep his body in place, sitting on the floor eyes still glued to the screen.

"That...That is not my henchman! It can't be! NO! They do not look like that! They-they do NOT look like some lump of flesh with their bones out! Nor do they have those pests!" Grim shouted as he tried his best to control his tears from falling...

All of them could not take their eyes off the screen looking at other rotting flesh of their companion. Even Jamil who despises insects so damn much couldn't help but stare emptily...

"How can this happen..." Riddle asked as he leaned his body to Tre for support.

"They...presumably died because of starvation." Jade responded with a straight face though he could not hide the crack in his voice which was very uncharacteristic of him yet it was reasonable...

What seemed to be left of their dear friend's body was a skeleton with only clumps of flesh left with lots of red bloats on the decaying flesh while dark black and greenish body fluid stains their beddings even on their walls and windows tiny dots of body fluid and fat scattered there courtesy to the flies.

Tons of maggots, cockroaches, beetles, spiders, ants, flies, and so much more... are seen all over the corpse there were even eggs of those pests on the body and probably all across the room...

Proving that they must have died about a month ago...

What concerns and hurts them, even more, is the fact no one has yet to discover the girl's/man's body. No one noticed the putrid smell from their place nor did they even bother to check on the...

Their mother, father, neighbors...none!

They all couldn't help but cry, some hid it either by looking back, covering their face or was looking down letting their hair cover their face as tears falls down on the floor, some of them were sprawled on the floor wailing and shouting as some others hug them near as they cried all together, the staff soon came upon hearing the commotion occurring in the main screen and saw the reason why those students filled with pride cried and wailed sorrowfully.

They couldn't help but steel themselves, they were the adults, after all, they shouldn't be a bad example and cry in front of their students who were in too much shock and pain. Their tears would have to wait till they reach their respective rooms where no eyes will lay upon them and see them weak and defenseless.

They ushered the students back to their dorms and called it a day. no classes for possibly a week to mourn their loss.

The terrible news reached up to RSA too, they too mourn for the loss of a person they consider their friend.

The boys were all out of character, Ramshackle was a mess, Grim tried to burn down everything since everything in that run-down dorm reminded him so much of the dead...

All of 7 dorms none of those who'd witnessed the body of their friend and companion.

None of them could work and do what they would normally do while some of them worsen so much more like Idia, he wouldn't dare step out of his room anymore, and would constantly check on the body to confirm if Mc was...you know dead and if it has finally been discovered; Another example would be Leona and Vil both who would always remain somewhat composed would burst out crying and shouting in their room and would practically destroy everything they grabbed on; Another would be the Octavinelle trio, Monstro Lounge rarely ever opens and if they do it would only be for a short amount of time since none of them are fit to work; Even Diasomania took a very huge blow and would constantly suffer from a very heavy thunderstorm.

It took 6 more months for the skeleton to be discovered through the phone of Mc was already dead, but Idia was still able to hack through the cameras to watch their friend after all it was the only thing they could do for him/her.

The community's reaction to the body is either pity for the unfortunate death of a very lonely man/woman, whilst some had a look that expected it to happen and doesn't even care much, the only thing they cared is to dispose of it and be able to sell the home AGAIN.

At least the cleaners have a heart! They at least offered a prayer and respected them as they clean the whole place.

Some of the valuable items of Mc along with the phone they're at were brought to their family along with some photo albums & pictures. The family was in shock but accepted the fact that Mc was dead so in a few days, they cremated the body of their son/daughter and buried it while keeping a few in a small jar they hid along with their belongings.

They stared at the tiny jar kept beside, fully accepting their fate that...Mc would never come back and that they would never be opened once again and be able to spend time with the friend that gave them a purpose and loved them.

As they thought something remained echoing among their minds...

...Was this punishment for breaking the system? Because of simply discovering that Yuu was not actually the one helping them but a lonely yet charming girl/boy finding comfort in the game that gave them life... And all they ever wanted was to repay the friend that accepted them for who they are by breaking some rules to make them smile, lessen their burdens, and make them feel that they are worth something and they have a home, people waiting for them to show up even if it is in a fictional game. Ah..., The world is really such a cruel place & life is so cursed...

Cliche! Royalty AU Otome Game: Riddle Rosehearts 

[Inspired by this Ask with Diasomnia Ver. & Ace Trappola, Epel Felmier, Azul Ashengrotto Ver.]

AN: Just something quick and simple that came to mind that I wanted to write down. Thank you to the Anonie who sent the original ask for inspiring this. 🌻🌺💚

Riddle Rosehearts: 

Riddle is the next in line to be King.

His mother is the same and controls his every move.

She wants him to be the perfect king, so she has always controlled him.

From what he ate to who he interacted with, it was all approved by her.

Even the servants kind of felt sorry for him.

But he met you during a ball when you came over to visit.

you were royalty from a neighboring kingdom, and there were talks about an arranged marriage between you two.

His mother did not approve of such an idea, simply welcoming them for hospitality.

your kingdom was too new for her to marry her son.

you were someone who had more freedom than he did. 

you talked easily with others despite rank.

and you helped out when you could.

His mother was displeased with your blatant disregard for the rules.

its not like you didn't follow them, but certain rules you kind of felt were too old. 

Had to have certain teas on certain days? what’s the point? what if you didn't crave that tea?

Couldn't have anything too sweet or full of carbs? dumb, body needed those for energy.

what you ate had to be controlled? Why? the kingdom is thriving and working long hours means you needed more nutrition.

always dressing formally? In this heat? In the freezing cold? That’s nuts.

Riddle couldn’t help but agree.

You took his hand and brought him to the kitchen, where you just motioned for the kitchen staff to look away and ignore royalty.

You helped Riddle don an apron and had him help you bake several treats, one of which was his favorite, a strawberry tart. 

You mentioned knowing a baker who’s family runs a bakery. 

Through you, riddle learned to live his life the way he wanted to.

His mother didn’t approve of you as his choice in partner.

But he didn't stand down, and in the face of his new confidence, she had no choice but to concede.

Riddle learned to be independent.

With you by his side, he learned how to be free from the binds he had most of his life.

Toji Fushiguro: he's debating on what to do with you. The hired Sorcerer Killer was sent out for you, and you're more than he bargained for. You're the older half-sister of the brat Gojo.

Hello, so I've been reading the twst reverse au and I just want to clarify that Twisted wonderland is not a Otome game, it is just a battle and a rhythm game so please do your research next time. I'm not trying to sound rude, I'm just pointing out the mistake so I hope you understand.

Twisted Wonderland is an Otome game without otome.

The game is designed like an Otome game and I remember it was initially marketed that way.

But fuck. It's Disney. Of course, there can be nothing related to the otome.

Because Disney is kid-friendly and some people think Otome obviously can’t be kid-friendly.

Twisted Wonderland reminds its game mechanics of obey me. Not only that, Obey we give us even small romantic scenes.

I am glad you enjoy my writings. I just want to lie to myself that Disney made the Otome game. Look We still have Malleus left. Hope is not gone.

Btw i'm sure no one is playing the game just because of the story.

Submitting Writing Requests

You may submit an ask for one of the following: Head-cannons, imagines, or a one-shot. 

Imagine and headcannon requests can have up to four characters. You can mix fandoms, but make sure to specify. Coontent normally is of higher quality if you do not mix though - just something to note.

One-Shots may only be of one character.

You may re-submit the same prompt with different characters in a separate ask once your first is fulfilled. Please be respectful and understand that others have requests as well. I also need a reasonable workload balance. 

AU’s are welcome. Please specify your chosen AU within the request. 

All requests will be written using gender-neutral pronouns unless specified within the ask.
