I don't feel like Sirius would be mad if he came back from Azkaban and Remus was dating someone.

I see a lot of him being the jealous type and all, "why didn't you wait for me?" But I KNOW he would want Remus to get back out there even when he's gone.

In fact, if Remus didn't date, Sirius probably would be like: "why the fuck?? did you not try??"

He would hate if Remus was all alone those years. Mourning him, wasting his love on a prisoner when so many others would have wanted to share it.

Sirius just wants Remus to be happy.

I love Jegulus, I really really do, but I COMPLETELY understand Regulus hating James for the rest of his life.

He "stole" his brother.

I don't give a FUCK if Reg and Sirius make up, there could always be that lingering knowledge of "you were what (helped) drive him away in the first place."

Kind of in the same light as I see Jinx (in happy au's) being able to tolerate and respect Cait, but never forgetting that she WAS a part of the wedge between her and Vi.

Reg can live his entire life never loving James Potter in any sense of the word, simply because he was the one to take away the first person he ever loved.

No amount of kindness or sun can erase the fact that James helped hide the stars from Reg.

Writing Hack: Just torture yourself into writing!

For example, I've been procrastinating on a fic for foreverrrr, but I've also been watching Harley Quinn on HBO.

SPOLIER!! So right when I get to the kiss scene after they escape the pit, I immediately pause that shit.

And what do I do? I didn't let myself watch the rest until I was done writing 😁!!

Worked like a charm. Every time I stopped writing, I gazed longingly at my phone, then I got back to work!!

Tim Drake wears those baggy, over your heel, skater jeans.

And don't get me wrong, he looks fly as hell, but he also lives in bumfuck Gotham City.

On good days, there's a puddle of water from a leaking pipe. On bad days? Pool of blood right on his way to the skate park.

Every day when he lived at the manor he would come back with his jeans DRIPPING w/ mystery liquid, and Alfred would just shake his head disappointedly.

Tim eventually invested in those zipper jeans that you turn into jorts. Not to wear them as shorts, but because Alfred kept making him strip to avoid getting the floors dirty.

He thinks he's safe when he moves in w/ Bernard, but Bern makes him do the same thing. It's fine tho, bc he switches back to regular jeans so he can take his pants off when he gets home to Bernard😏😏

A right of passage when it comes to being a batkid is being the fattest Hozier fan to man, I just know it. They all LOVE that man. Like, killing is off the table but for him? Still no but damn is it close.

Citizens of Gotham are so done w/ it by now, because their vigilantes are always screaming their heads off.

These are not "Oh, yeah I like Hozier" fans, these are literal tears streaming down my face, falling to my knees, yelling and crashing out over a single snit-bit of his music, Hozier fans.

Confession: Timber is actually one of my favorite DC ships if not THE favorite, but I've never read any of their comics (aside from WFA).

Like I genuinely just got queerbaited into the Batfam fandom through this ship (damn you, DC) but I've still never read any thing aside from the Valentine's day comic and the occasional panel on Tumblr or Pinterest.

So like- any recommendations are greatly appreciated because I really want to get to know my boys outside of fanart and fics!! (Also kind of want to write a fic about them, but don't want to get their lore and characterization wrong)

Please drop the comics I need to read/buy about them 🙏🙏. Oh and Darla too!! I want to know about her as well 😁😁
