I am going to beat you UP BOOSTER GOLD!!!

In the future, all of the earth will be conquered. In a pretty easy way. Without wars and similar situations, and while under tyranny, it was actually a good place. A true utopia without heroes, villains, and similar. +++ In the past, It had been a normal day in the Justice League as Portal opened and a group of heroes and villains came out: Just looking around, and all of them tried to jump Booster Gold and Flash. As the Justice League after stopping them asked why the time traveler wanted to beat them up that badly, all of them wanted to do it. It was funny to see Lex and Superman working together after all. +

They began to explain. ____ It all began with the introduction of young Dr. Daniel Fenton, a true child prodigy and self-made wealthy boy dedicated to helping others. Everything was going smoothly until Booster Gold decided to share his unconventional thoughts. He Suggested! That the child could potentially conquer the world using the current setting. And then told him a range of bizarre ideas, including a communications jamming system, missiles, traps, self-activating lasers, and even an indoor lagoon filled with piranhas.

Danny: "Piranha. Why ever would I want… piranha?" Booster Gold: To eat the heroes And also think about a secret underground grotto with a speed boat for escape purposes. And-and-and gigantic Moving Weapons of doom, they'd be huge and destroy anything in their path!"

The Flash intervened, urging Booster Gold to leave, and Danny bid them farewell, expressing gratitude. The Flash: Come on, Gold, we should leave. + As they departed. Danny pondered the peculiar suggestions, acknowledging his abundant wealth and free time and contemplating the need for a new and interesting hobby. ++ Danny had come to this world to be a hero. But he never tried to pull a Vlad. And when he is done, he can show that he is better at it than him! All he needed was to plan to not fail.

++ So after 5 years of planning, at the age of 19, he started his Conquest of the World, which was pretty successful in his victory speech. He thanked Booster Gold and the Flash for telling him he could change much more and much better if he were a villain and just took over the world! And he did! ++ While in the Justice League and Legion of Doom, who were in hidding, all at once slowly turned their heads to the duo. Like in a Horror Movie.

Back to the present/Past

Both groups are happy that Flash and Booster Gold didn't meet the child prodigy; it turns out he was still at least 10 or 9 years old at the moment. A few years before he became famous, he was just living alone somewhere on Earth.

But that means a new plan!

Lex, like Veronica Cale, was pissed that the boy was able to take over their company, but then again, the boy was able to take over all the companies in America at the same time.

But now, in the past, they can think of plans—good plans! With their Guiding they can do so much! Same with Heroes.

Two Graysons for one:

So we all know that Dick Grayson is supposed to become the greatest Talon of the Court of Owls: The Gray Son, Dick wasn't Mary and John's first child.

Enter Daphne Mary Grayson (Danny Fenton) the firstborn Grayson who dissapeared during Haley's tour in Europe.

The European Court of owls (Ecoo) were impatient for their Gray son and couldn't wait until Haley's arrived in Gotham. So they end up kidnapping Daphne, taken to become the possible Gray son, unaware Mary Grayson was pregnant with Dick at the time. Daphne does get small doses of electrum, but the Ecoo are waiting until she is older to fully convert her in a Talon for the court. During one of the plots to assainate an wealthy business person, an earthquake occurs and Daphne, injured ends up falling through a crevasse that connect to a cave system that directly leads to an ectoplasm pool that she accidently falls in.

Now this where things get tricky. Dick life still plays out the same way (Bruce bait, Robin, Nightwing,etc...) As Nightwing, Dick gets into contact with a magical-infused virus that could very well kill him unless he gets the blood of biological family member (John and Mary are dead, William Cobb has more electrum than blood in him and they cannot synthetisize the virus out of his blood to try put his blood back in him) this looks like it could be the very end of Dick Grayson. Everyone in the Family decides to air out their grievances to their big brother, the bird who brought all of them together. It's also worth mentioning that someone has been murdering influential people that are part of the Court around the world but has started to make their way towards Gotham warning them that their time is up.

Now, last time with Daphne, she fallen in an ectoplasm pool. What we find out is that after that fall, she appears in the states (Meddling Clockwork) unaware how they got there. Daphne gets spotted by Jazz Fenton and decides to be her big sister unaware that Daphne is somewhat disoriented from the ectoplasm and electrum sort of melding together giving Daphne some enhanced abilities like, slight healing, speed and able to go longer without proper sustenance. Daphne's electrum is barely visible around her heart and her eyes are blue with a ring of amber or gold with flecks of green ectoplasm.

The Drs. Fenton decide to "adopt" Daphne to please their daughter, and Daphne becomes Danny Janus Fenton. Canon episodes happen, except I want to say that Phantom Planet may have caused the Metahuman appearance. Danny's parents, while not to hate him anymore , can not get over their guilt that their passion killed their child. Danny is still close to Jazz, Tucker, Dani (Ellie and the clones), Valerie and Wes, surprisingly. Danny and Sam sort of split because Sam could understand that Danny was a murderer and Danny thought that Sam reminded them too much of their court days.

Danny would be genderfluid ( somedays it's Danny, others it's Daphne) since Danny always felt she lacked some control over her life.

Now, how do the Graysons meet? Two days before Dick possibly dies, someone is at the door. Alfred or possibly Tim opens it to inform them that they werent taking visitors before being shocked as the person at the door looks almost exactly like Dick (Tim would know as he has seen John and Mary Grayson before their demise) Danny goes to say that they are here to help their Baby brother as it was announced publicly that Dick Grayson has caught something terrible and was possibly on their last legs. Tim and the rest of the family want to get the validity that this is an actual relative of Dick and not some fake. Danny's D.N.A is uncorrupted enough that they can 100% tell that Danny is actually related to Dick on a much closer scale than they realize like an uncle or second-cousin, and they don't want to risk it. And if it didn't work, Danny wanted to see her baby brother alive before he died.

Azerbaijan has decided to procure Israel's Sky Dew system to detect aerial threats, Azerbaijan media outlet "Aze.Media" reports.

Sky Dew, which is one of the largest aerial detection systems of its kind, was developed jointly by Israel's Ministry of Defense, Defense Research and Development Directorate (DDR&D - MAFAT), headed by Dr. Danny Gold and the US Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The systems monitors various aerial threats including cruise missiles and drones.

The observation and detection balloon is designed to be used as an integrated tool within the overall air defense system, to complete the air control picture together with other systems in air forces. The platform is manufactured by US company TCOM, which is based in Maryland, while the radar system is produced by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) ELTA division.

Personal canons are the canon everyone has created based on the canon and fanon content they've consumed.

Expansion not necessary. I just wanted to add my thoughts.

1. Examples range from wanting to wrap his drinks in a web before drinking them to wanting to fall asleep curled up in the back corner of his closet. No, it doesn't matter which Spider-Man.

2. This one is just my perception of the two. There's nothing I can actually tell you about this other than the vibes seem to match.

3. The headcanon of Poison Ivy eating mostly meat is fun. (Not fully carnivore because I think she'd also eat plants because it's necessary to eat both to be a healthy human and can be healthy for the environment if done in moderation). I decided to combine it with Danny Phantom for this because I haven't seen anyone do it before. So, Ivy being mostly carnivorous and Sam being ultra-recyclo-vegetarian would be appalled at each others diets.

4. Cyborg's connected to a supercomputer created by a more scientifically advanced society, while Barbara is a human (I specified her because she's the best Bat at hacking.) Her being the best hacker in the universe is a stretch at best. There's gotta be computer languages she's unable to decipher because it's so different to any on earth. (I don't think anyone from earth should be able to hack cyborg or the mother/father boxes.) If your supercomputer can be hacked by the equivalent of a preteen with a 2010 samsung who doesn't even recognise the coding language you used, then you didn't create a supercomputer. (Mother/father boxes are sentient, autonomous computers btw.)

5. Young Justice was good. Great. It just seemed to stop caring as much about having the new audience learn about the characters after season 2. I wouldn't know who Razer is if I didn't watch Green Lantern: The Animated Series. I stopped having emotional connections with the characters by season 4 and they stopped wrapping up storylines in an emotionally fulfilling manor after season 2. As someone who never read any comic books except for Spider-man/Deadpool and a few green lantern ones and one batman and spider-man crossover, I don't care about the characters they shove into the show and expect everyone to care about.

6. I get it. The "he won't stop if he does it once" was only in one comic (apparently) and the comic was written by someone that (apparently) most of the fandom doesn't like. I don't care. Every reason he has for not killing is valid and coexists. He collects reasons to not kill like it's gold and he's a dragon. The only reason that is invalid and can't coexist is that he doesn't care enough about the people that could get hurt or killed to permanently stop people like Joker, Bane, or Scarecrow.

7. It makes sense if they were the two to get touch starved easily. Dick grew up in a circus where everyone was presumably pretty tight knit and Tim grew up in a home where appearance mattered more than feelings. But also they happen to be the characters I like to torture.

8. Strange is petty and I 100% believe that Tony started it. (Stephen is finishing it though.)

9. Freddy Freeman can't walk without crutches and flies in the comics. (I haven't read them, tho) I feel like it's erasing disabled peoples' struggles when they just give him the ability to walk in his hero form. Let him be a little flying guy who never touches the ground.

10. It's a comic thing again. I just think it's more interesting. (I found pages of captain marvel comics in google images and tumblr.)

Here’s a relatively simple prompt, Danny meets Adrien and Marinette while he’s visiting Paris, and they see him easily resist akumatization. Naturally, shenanigans ends. What do you think?

Now that would be funny!! The angsty route is always well and good and all but the idea that Danny just doesn't have time or can't be bothered with Hawkmoth's (or Shadowmoth's. Or Monarch's [Dang, for a fashion designer you are not the most creative guy out there are you, Gabriel?]) akumatization attempts on him so he just swats the butterflies away. Oh~ Now there's an idea:

Marinette had seen many tourists come and go. Her family patisserie had slowly grown in fame over the years, and having Jagged Stone himself come over on live television had certainly helped with profits. (Although she could have gone without the man in her room and showing off all her Adrien pictures.) She was well aware that the shop was now on some travel agency websites and a number of foodie digest lists, so an influx of tourists were to be expected.

She had, however, been pleasantly surprised to meet a visiting American family. Marinette swore her father could have been related to the other man, if only for the sheer size and body structure. The auburn hair had suited the mother more, a Mrs. Dr. Fenton, and it had given them all a good laugh to see how well the two married couples mirrored each other.

Unlike Marinette's family, there were two children, a older girl that always treated Marinette kindly- often trying to speak in butchered French but hey, she could appreciate the effort. The younger boy, who was around Marinette's age actually, easily could have been Marinette's brother. There were some notable differences, obviously, but if you didn't look hard enough they could have been twins. The boy, Danny, had taken great amusement to this.

And so had Adrien.

That part had Marinette a little anxious. She hadn't been expecting Adrien to come over today, now of all times! She had been so sure he was busy with another photo shoot, but as it turned out Lila had made a big fuss and Adrien was free to roam, using it as an excuse to flee the scene. Marinette had worried he would get in trouble for it, but then he'd smiled at her in that way he always did and oh alright, Marinette was a goner.

Adrien and Danny got along well. Almost too well, in Marinette's opinion. She didn't mind that Adrien had other friends; honestly, he deserved all the friends and love in the world! But the moment those two started punning at each other, mixing in physics facts just because they could, Marinette began to regret some life choices.

But even despite her exasperation, she'd enjoyed herself! After some debate she had taken the two boys up into her room with some treats to snack on while they hung out. It wasn't often that Marinette brought relative strangers to her room, her private space and her haven, but her parents had been sharing awfully personal information with the Fenton parents as well, so she figured it would be alright.

Danny was nice and clever, a tricky teen with a silver tongue, and a heart of gold. Marinette would have invited Jazz- Danny's sister- to join them had she not caught the eye of an older boy Marinette had seen around sometimes. She seemed busy with that, so Marinette let her be.

Everything had been going well, beautifully even, until there was a sudden shout of "Ghost!" from downstairs and Danny flinched. Marinette had startled at the sight of it. She'd been more frightened by Danny's reaction than the sudden shout, actually. That would have been fine, a passing thought even, had it not been for the butterfly flapping through the window at the exact moment.

She and Adrien were instantly to their feet, jumping back and away from the innocent-but-cruel butterfly. Danny didn't seem to notice it at all, and just when she and Adrien went to say something- Danny turned his head, stared the akuma head-on, and waved it away. She watched, dumbfounded, as Danny veered his head from side to side, looking annoyed of all things as the akuma persisted after him.

"I am busy right now, begone!" Danny remarked, half-joking by the sound of it. She gaped at him in confusion for a while, her hunches lowering when she realized the akuma wasn't doing anything? It was clearly attracted to Danny's negative emotions, so why couldn't it possess an object? "How do I get rid of this thing?"

"Usually you need to release your negative emotions," Adrien commented with a frown, looking just as lost despite his reply. "But I've only seen that happen after the akuma has settled."

"Wow, so all those pamphlets hadn't been kidding, huh?" Danny remarked ruefully. He gave the butterfly a rude side-eye. "Well, if that's what it takes-" Danny reached out a hand, letting the akuma catch onto his watch and possess it.

"NO!" She and Adrien shouted at once, horrified.

But Danny continued to surprise them both by commenting, "Woah, you talk too much. And that's saying something from blabbermouth extraordinaire over here." The butterfly mask over Danny's eyes flashed a little brighter, much to their surprise. "Excuse moi ? That's awfully rude and I- Okay, but what if I don't care about Ladybug and Chat Noir? This sounds a lot like free child labor and I'm on vacation here. So what do I care about special powers, they're temporary? Oh, big deal! You can threaten me once you've showed your ugly ass to my face. Yeah, that's what I thought."

The akuma lifted from Danny's watch and innocently fluttered away. Marinette would have to catch that before someone else got akumatized. And yet she could do nothing more than stare at Danny in complete shock and confusion.

Danny stared back at them, before snatching some pain du chocolat from the plate. "So you were saying?"

Mark Sloan- Try Again Pt3

“Morning” Mer says walking up to me with Lexie smiling

“Morning” I sigh feeling sick to my stomach

“Everything ok?”

“Just morning sickness. Whoever decided to call it morning sickness is a dick. It’s all day sickness for me” Mark then walks over to us smiling

“Morning”

“I hate you” I say crossing my arms

“Why? What did I do?”

“Knocked her up” Mer says before walking off with Lexie

“Feeling sick again?”

“Threw up twice already this morning and it’s only 10am”

“At least we know little one is safe and happy in there” Mark places his hand gently on my stomach

“Hmmm” I hum before getting paged “I gotta go”

“Lunch date later?” Mark asks. I give him a smile and small nod

“Yeah I’d like that”

“I was thinking that maybe we could get back together”

“I…. I erm” I feel so off guard right now “I gotta go” with this I turn and leave as quick as I can.

“Dad?” I say walking into a patient room

“Hi pumpkin”

“Why didn’t you call to say you were sick?” I ask pulling over a tray and putting some gloves on

“The pain comes and goes”

“So you thought you could sneak in without making a fuss? God dad you could be rejecting Mers liver”

“Calm down. Please”

“Your telling a pregnant woman to calm down when her dads in hospital?”

“YN please. There’s something I need to talk to you about that I should have told you. I go to AA a couple times a week”

“Congratulations dad. You want a gold star”

“Just listen will you. Sometimes you have to get up in front of everyone and say your peace” I take the ribbon to go around his arm while I draw blood and tighten it “and then maybe there’s a person there who talks to you and then maybe you go out to coffee with them”

“So a sponsor?”

“No not a sponsor….”

“Sorry I got turned then I ended up back in the lobby” a woman walks in and before I know it she kisses dad

“Oh god. No Ew no. How old is she? You look younger than me no oh god” i quickly take the blood sample and start to pack up

“For the first time in 8 weeks I want to vomit not from morning sickness” with that I leave the room.

“Mer you have to see dad” I say walking into the break room

“Does he want more organs”

“He didn’t say, he was to busy loving up on a tattooed 20 year old” Mer looks at me with raised brows

“I can’t deal with dad right now I’m to busy dealing with mom”

“Please go and see him, I’m meant to having lunch with Mark and I’ve just thrown up again and mark wants to get back together and all I want to do is go home and cry….”

“Woah woah woah slow down Mark wants to get back together with you?” Christina says “and you don’t want to?”

“That’s the problem I want to but we broke up and now I’m pregnant and it’s complicated and now dad has a 20 year old girlfriend who’s clearly younger than Lexie and….”

“Ok ok stop stressing. Go find Lexie and send her to dads room. I’ll talk to him. You sit down, Christina will find Mark. I think you both need to talk”

Within 10 minutes Mark rushes in with a bottle of water looking panicked

“What’s wrong? Is everything ok?”

“No” I burst out crying

“What’s going on?” Mark pulls me into him and let’s me cry on his chest

“Stupid hormones. Dads back in hospital and he’s brought his girlfriend with him and she’s younger than Lexie so it’s now weird and I know you wanted to have lunch but I feel so sick, probably a combination of morning sickness and hearing about my dad doing the dead and this morning you said you wanted to get back together which I didn’t respond to because I’m scared that if I say yes something else will happen that makes us break up but this time there’s a baby involved”

“Ok first of all breath. Take a sip of water and take a deep breath” I do as Mark says “when I said I wanted us to get back together I didn’t mean we immediately move back in and start from where we left things. We have a baby on the way so I know we need to be carful, but I never stoped loving you and I truly want to try again”

“I never stoped loving you either” I say looking up at Mark “I want us to try again as well”

“Then we take things slow. Now I know you said you feel sick, but you gotta eat something. So what do you fancy?”

“Pickles with Nutella” I sat after thinking about it

Mister Lancer heaves the sigh of an underpaid teacher with a long, long night ahead of them.

So far the parents have been…normal. Expected responses to common patterns of students.

He leans back, away from the desk to rub his face. The next pair of parents has him debating the flask he stashed in his bag.

He had sent a notice for young Mister Fenton to attend with his parents, against common practice. The boy had taken it with resignation lining his very soul. His eyes betrayed something else though. It made him wonder; if something else was happening behind the scenes.

Afterall, why would a child show signs of fear?

Sitting up, Lancer looks over the file again, feeling like he was missing something paramount to the situation.

A knock on the door draws his attention up.

A mop of black hair is barely seen at the bottom of the window.

"Come in!" He calls straightening his notes.

The door opens and Danny trudges in with his shoulders bunched near his ears.

Lancer can't help but notice the slight limp in his gait and the way one arm is curled around his torso.

"Are you alright?" He can't help but ask.

Danny flinches, ducking his head lower to hide behind his bangs. 

"'M fine," he mumbles, shuffling his feet.

Lancer frowns, and looks back at the open but empty doorway.

"Are your-"

"No, they're not," Danny cuts in. He stands awkwardly beside the chairs in front of the desk. "Can we just get this over with?"

Lancer blinks at the level of aggression in his voice. He takes a moment to reassess, seeing the lines of tension as more than just fear and shame.

"Have a seat, Mister Fenton," Lancer says, keeping his tone even, his posture loose. Danny balks but does as he's told, curling up on the seat.

"I had wanted to go over a few concerns," Lancer says, making a show of pulling some files from the folder. He watches Danny tense further out of the corner of his eye. "However, I have decided that perhaps a…re-evaluation is in order."

He drops the papers into the trash.

Danny frowns, blue eyes flicking between the bin and his face.

Lancer waits, giving the boy time to collect his thoughts.

"Why?" It's small, barely formed without any malice.

"Because I believe I've never had the full picture," he answers, leaning forward on his desk to bend to Danny's eye level. "And I do see so much potential that's being buried away."

Danny scoffs looking away, "No potential here, I'm just the family fuck up."

Oh, and isn't that something.

Lancer feels his heart ache a little.

"Something tells me you could be top of the class if you didn't have your full attention diverted elsewhere," he says.

He shrugs, hands fisting his loose t-shirt.

Lancer files away just how loose the shirt is. How had he never noticed?

He opens his mouth to continue when he feels a chill run down his spine. Something heavy settling around his neck.

A medal?

A gold gear embedded with an inscription.

"Pardon my sudden arrival," a voice says, making Lancer startle.

A youngish looking ghost floats besides Danny. Bright red eyes glowing harshly against blue skin and a large staff held loosely behind.

"You may refer to me as Clockwork," they say, drifting to take the open seat next to Danny. "I do apologize for being late."

"Late?" He repeats. Gaze flicking between the evidently frozen Fenton and the ghost with what appears to be the mechanisms of a grandfather clock in its chest. 

"For the parent teacher conference," they say, body shifting to something far older, long white beard piling onto the curled wisp of a tail. "You did request to meet with young Daniel’s guardian, no?"

Lancer blinks, hands clenching and releasing as he tries to understand what is happening.

"That- I did, however, I was expecting to meet with-"

"The Dr's Fenton, yes," Clockwork frowns, red eyes shimmering a darker hue. "Do forgive me if I request that you do not continue to believe them well-intentioned when it comes to Daniel's well being."

He glances at Danny, frozen in his curled defensive position.

"I was beginning to suspect…" he begins tentatively.

"And that is why I am here," they say, settling on the chair and shrinking into a form more akin to a toddler. "You have begun a long path, a dangerous one and I wish to provide you with an opportunity."

Lancer swallows.

"What is your relationship with Mister Fenton?" He asks instead.

The ghost smiles, something fond softening his features as he turns towards Danny. He places a gentle hand on his head, smoothing the unruly locks.

Danny blinks eyes flashing green before settling back to blue.

"Grandfather?" He questions, body instantly losing its tension.

Clockwork brushes a now adult hand to cup Danny's cheek. "It is okay, little one, we will talk soon."

Danny nods, closing his eyes as they let go, body going still once more.

"I see," Lancer says, thoughts flying a mile a minute. Something about the situation doesn't sit right with him, several flags waving in warning.

"I offer you a choice," the ghost says, turning their full attention back to him. Two vials appear on his desk. One purple one green, both shimmering gold.

"I will tell you of the story of young Daniel and you will decide to either erase your memories, remembering nothing of this conversation, or a promise of secrecy and become an ally of a child in need of guidance, becoming a true pillar of support."

Lancer frowns, "I want to help Mister Fenton in anyway I can, that is my job as a teacher, to help mold the minds of our youth to reach their fullest potential."

Clockwork smiles, something amused that Lancer finds somewhat cruel.

He is viscerally reminded of the stories of his childhood, of fae and their strange rules.

"I will listen if you promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, leaving nothing out."

"That was my intention," they smile, lips curving into something truly mean.

"Swear it, on your name."

"I swear upon mine own name that I will tell you the truth as it stands in the sands of time."

Something fizzles against his skin, dousing the room is something cold.

And so Clockwork begins his tale. The story he tells is something more twisted and horrible than he could ever imagine.

It is thanks only to a lifetime of experience that keeps his dinner down for some of it.

Lancer bracea himself on his desk, head in his hands by the end of it. He swallows around the lump building in his throat.

"This is all true?" He whispers in shock.

"I swore upon my name," they say.

Lancer presses the palms of his heels into his eyes, making starbursts bloom.

He draws a deep breath and releases it as a gust of air.

"You must now make a decision," they state.

He looks up, blinking his vision clear. He looks at Danny, feeling new bile rise in his throat.

Summary - 2 part story. Four years after leaving Bucky, his former girlfriend arrives at the compound with two surprises.

Part 1

It was there in black and white. All the tests, all of the imaging that had been done; everything pointed to the same conclusion. Lane sighed, pursed her lips together in a grim smile then looked at the doctors.

“I would like a second opinion,” she said. “Could you send my file to Dr. Bruce Banner and Dr. Helen Cho of the Avengers?”

“You’re a patient of them?” asked Dr. Roberts.

“No, I was an agent at one time,” she replied. “They’ll look at it as a courtesy to me.”

“If they concur? Anything that can be done would only be palliative.”

“I understand,” said Lane. “I’ll be in touch.”

There was a ringing sound in her ears as she left the office and went down the elevator to the main floor. Before the door opened she took a deep breath and calmed herself. The nanny had Danny on her lap on one of the lobby chairs, reading a story to him. He turned his head when he heard Lane’s footsteps coming out of the elevator. Already, at 3 ½ years of age, he was displaying his abilities and he wriggled off Carol’s lap, running to his mother.

“Momma, are you done?” he asked. “Can we go for lunch? I’m hungry.”

“Sure, baby,” she smiled, kneeling down to his level. “We’ll get something to eat, then we’ll go to the playground, okay?”

She stood up, taking him by the hand, smiling at Carol, the nanny, who knew her well enough to know the news wasn’t good. Taking Danny by the other hand she looked at Lane as they walked towards the exit.

“What’s next?”

“Banner and Cho are going to look at my file,” replied Lane. “But I don’t think they’ll be able to do anything.” She glanced sideways at the woman who became her good friend this past year. “I know, I’ll have to tell him. I just … I just wanted Danny to have as normal a life as possible.”

As they stepped outside the building she looked up at the blue sky, feeling the sun on her face, and hearing the sound of birdsong in the trees. For a moment, she felt her throat constrict, at the thought of not being there for her son, but she swallowed it down. If Bruce and Helen couldn’t help her then she would tell Bucky, tell him what she had kept from him when she left the Avengers over four years before.

Bucky landed the quinjet on the platform of Stark Tower, then went through his checklist before shutting the aircraft down. Behind him he could hear people standing up, groaning and stretching after the long flight from Australia, where they had undertaken a humanitarian rescue in a gold mine, after it collapsed. Feeling a hand on his shoulder he looked behind him at Steve’s face.

“Beers?” he asked.

“Yeah, but shower first,” replied Bucky. “I swear I’m still caked with the dirt from the rescue.”

Grabbing his go bag he followed the others out and they made their way to the residential level, all of them crammed together into the elevator. With being pretty ripe from the long flight they all held their breath as best they could before streaming out of the opening doors. After entering the door code of his quarters Bucky dropped his bag off inside the door, toed off his boots and stripped down as he walked, coveting the warm shower that beckoned to him.

Fifteen minutes later, with clean clothes on he stepped out of his quarters and headed to the lounge area. Steve already had several beers on the counter, handing one to Bucky and Sam who was right behind him. As others followed he gave them a beer and they all fell onto the big sectional couch, taking long pulls of the refreshing beverage. Just as Bucky took a second long drink of his bottle Friday interrupted the quiet of the gathering.

“Sergeant Barnes, would you please report to the medical lab?” the voice asked. “Dr. Banner wishes to see you.”

“Why?” asked the super soldier. “I just sat down and want to relax.”

“Yes sir,” replied Friday. “I’m not a liberty to state the reason except it is important that you report there.”

Draining his beer Bucky stood up and placed the bottle on the counter, scowling as he headed to the elevator. When it opened on the floor of the medical lab he was surprised to see Bruce, Dr. Cho, and Tony Stark all together in the lab. There was a fourth person in there but they were seated and he couldn’t make out who it was from outside the sliding doors.

“What’s so important that I had to come up here?” he asked as he entered.

Then the fourth person stood up and faced him, leaving him almost speechless.

“Hello, Bucky,” said Lane, her voice tentative. “I asked for you to be here.”

“What the hell? You walk out of my life over 4 years ago, without a word and suddenly you’re demanding to see me? What’s going on?”

“Sit down, Barnes,” said Tony, tersely. “Lane thinks you should have a say in this. I don’t agree, but I’ve been overruled.”

“A say in what?” asked Bucky, feeling the anger bubble up inside him.

“I’m dying,” said Lane, deciding to rip the bandage all the way off. She took her wig off so he could see her lack of hair from the radiation treatment she endured. “It means that our son should be with his father.” Bucky said nothing but he was shocked at her almost bald head and his face turned a brilliant shade of red. “You’re a father. His name is Daniel James, and he’s 3 ½ years old. If you don’t take him I’ll have to put him up for adoption.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?” he asked, his heavy breathing indicating how precarious his control was at that moment. Then he looked at the other three. “Did you all know?”

“It was my decision to keep it from you,” said Lane. “They only found out after he was born, and I asked them not to tell you. I wanted him to have a chance at a normal childhood. That wasn’t going to happen with how you were then.”

“How I was then? I was in love with you!” Bucky was shouting now. “You were it for me. Then I come back from a mission and you’re gone. Everything belonging to you, gone. Why?”

Lane closed her mouth in a grim line and shook her head. She knew it would be like this. Taking a deep breath she straightened her posture to appear as tall as she could and looked him in the eye.

“You were so in love with me that you slept with Sharon when I went to see my mom before she died,” she stated calmly. “You didn’t even take her panties out of the bed, Bucky. I found them there when I changed the sheets when I got back. Our sheets reeked of her perfume. You cheated on me.” She turned away, angry at herself for thinking this was a good idea. “Forget it. I’ll find someone to adopt Danny, someone who won’t lie or sneak around with another woman.”

“I didn’t sleep with her,” he said, his voice breaking. “She was in the bed waiting for me and I walked out. I slept on Steve’s couch until we went out on a mission. You can ask him. Please, Lane, I didn’t cheat. I wouldn’t do that to you.”

She kept her back turned to him, trying not to break down. The others watched him, not sure what to believe then Bucky turned around and went to the elevator, returning to the lounge area. Practically storming to where the others were he glared at Sharon Carter, his lip curled in fury.

“It was your fault,” he sneered. “Your little stunt made Lane leave me. I loved her and wanted to marry her but you didn’t respect that. Because of you I wasn’t there for her when she gave birth to my son. Did any of you know?” He looked at Steve as the others tried not to make eye contact with Bucky. “Did you know I was a father and you didn’t tell me? Did you all think I slept with Sharon?”

“Buck, I didn’t know that Lane had a baby,” said Steve. “I’ll tell her you slept on my couch after finding Sharon in your bed, but I didn’t know that’s why she left. Lane left all of us without a word.”

“Not all of us,” interjected Wanda. “It wasn’t for us to tell you. It was Lane’s decision to leave and her decision not to tell you she was pregnant. I’m sorry.”

Shaking his head in disbelief, Bucky’s face went dark with betrayal and anger.

“Fuck you all.”

Turning around he went to his room and repacked his go bag, converting it to a backpack, then put his leathers and motorcycle boots on. Taking the stairs he went down to the garage, mounted his motorcycle and started it up. Steve came out of the elevator, stopping in front of him.

“Don’t do this,” he said. “Don’t fly off the handle. You have a chance to make it better but if you leave ….”

“If I leave, what?” demanded Bucky. “She was everything to me. Now I find out that she thought I was cheating on her. I have a son that she’s giving up for adoption because she’s dying and she’d rather a stranger have him than his own father. How do you think that makes me feel, Steve, huh? I have nothing now, nothing to keep me here.”

He glared at Steve until the blond stepped aside then roared out of the garage on his motorcycle, barely waiting for the automatic door to open. Closing his eyes and shaking his head Steve turned back to the elevator and went up to the medical level, hoping to catch Lane before she left. She was still in the medical lab, crying as Tony hugged her. Right away Steve noticed she had no hair on her head and his heart dropped. When Steve entered Tony looked angrily at him.

“I told you something like this would happen when you first vouched for him to be an Avenger,” he said. “We couldn’t trust him.”

“He didn’t sleep with Sharon,” stated Steve. “We were working out and came back to the rooms to shower. He found her already in their bed, told her to get the hell out, and left. Until we went on a mission he slept on my couch. I’m guessing she left her underwear in there to cause the rift. Not that it matters now. He’s gone.”

Lane stopped crying and turned to Steve. “What do you mean, gone?”

“He packed a bag, put his leathers on and rode out on his motorbike. According to him he now has nothing to keep him here, since you would rather have a stranger adopt your son than have Bucky take him.”

Lane buried her face in her hands, certain that she had destroyed any possibility of making amends with the man she still loved.

“Friday, call Sharon Carter here,” said Tony. “Might as well confirm it from one of the guilty parties.”

“Tony ….”

Steve shook his head, angry at the way Tony automatically assumed that Bucky was in the wrong. Then he remembered what his friend had said about Lane.

“Is it true? Are you dying?”

She nodded her head. “The same breast cancer that killed my mother. Even though I had a double mastectomy and radiation treatment it metastasized. It’s everywhere. I have months left. I was hoping … I don’t know what I was hoping for.”

The sliding glass doors opened and Sharon Carter walked in, then almost walked out when she saw Lane.

“No, you get in here,” said Tony. “I want the truth and remember Friday can tell when someone is lying. Did you sleep with Bucky while Lane was visiting her dying mother?”

All sorts of emotions played over Sharon’s face as she looked from person to person, then she finally shook her head.

“No, I was waiting for him but as soon as he saw me he told me to get the hell out,” she admitted. “I left my panties there and sprayed the sheets with my perfume, hoping Lane would leave him so I could be with him instead. After she left he wouldn’t even look at me. I’m sorry.”

Tony was furious, at himself as much as at Sharon. “Pack your stuff and get out,” he said. “I don’t care where you go but we can’t trust you to have our backs.”

“Please, it was a mistake,” she protested. “I haven’t tried anything like that since. Being in the Avengers is all I have.”

“No, I don’t want you here,” he said. “Because of you a good man has left the Avengers, and a small boy is without his father.” He looked sarcastically at Steve. “I know, I’m not much better as I didn’t believe him but I’m willing to try to fix this. Getting rid of her is the first step.”

“Steve, please, don’t let Tony do this,” cried Sharon. “You’re a team leader. Tell him I’m not like that anymore.”

“I wish I could,” said Steve. “Sorry, but I’m with Tony on this. Bucky wasn’t the only one you did this sort of thing to.”

Sharon turned red. “I don’t know what you mean,” she declared, breathing audibly.

“Peter and MJ,” replied Steve. “He told me. The kid was practically shaking with anger that you would do that. You should go, Sharon. Otherwise, we’ll have to put it to a vote and you don’t want to know what the others think of you.”

“Fine, I’m going.” She turned around then looked back, her face full of disgust. “You’ll regret this. I know a lot of your secrets.”

“Be careful who you threaten,” warned Tony. “Friday, remove all access to the facilities, including computer access and anything else that has been granted to Sharon Carter. She can get into her room to get packed but once she leaves the building remove that as well. You signed an NDA when you became an Avenger, Sharon. You say anything, I have every right to sue you for everything you own, and make it impossible for you to work anywhere ever again.”

Tony called security to escort Sharon to her quarters to pack and escort her out. Then he faced Lane, placing both his hands on her upper arms.

“I’m sorry,” he said. “If you had told me this four years ago I would have dealt with it then.” He glanced at Bruce. “Are you sure there’s nothing that can be done?”

Bruce and Helen looked at each other uneasily. “A long shot,” he replied. “I can try to recreate the serum using Steve’s blood as he has type O blood, universal donor. But we don’t know if we have the time to do it before ….”

“How much blood do you need?” asked Steve immediately, his attention focused on Bruce.

“A unit, from both of you,” he said. “We’ll test it on your blood first, Lane, but I can’t promise anything. I mean I worked years on the serum and look what it did to me. My track record isn’t that good.”

Lane’s lips trembled. “The only other treatment for me is palliative,” she stated. “Even if you just buy me time that’s more than I have now.”

While Bruce and Helen took their blood Tony used Friday to track Bucky by his vibranium arm. He was on one of the expressways.

“Take one of my cars,” said Tony to Steve. “I’d go but I don’t think he would take my apology.”

“I’m coming with you,” added Lane. “The first to apologize to him should be me.”

As soon as the two of them gave their blood they went down to the garage, taking one of Tony’s vehicles. While they drove out of the parking garage, Sharon Carter was put into a taxi, never to return to Stark Tower again. With Friday tracking Bucky they followed his route until the AI informed them that he arrived at a destination, hoping he didn’t do something stupid before they got there.

‘tis me again, the anon from the JL time-travelers/Booster Gold prompt. This kept cooking in my brain even after I posted it last time, so here goes (I’m so sorry if this goes long and or ramble-y) —

So I was trying to think of different timeline variants of the TUE event there could be to trip up the JL, by having them act on base-different facts. Bc let’s face it, if Danny had failed to beat Dan? Instant worse outcome then what was already going to happen, bc Dan is a full adult with ten years of escalating violence under his belt in an unsuspecting, unready world, and without a Red Huntress that power-scaled with him to counterbalance. This is all getting compounded by the fact that, due to Dan literally destroying everything, no complete set of un-redacted records exist in any timeline, and what they can scavenge needs more context than they have.

So how a time-traveler from that even-worse-verse would react to Phantom first-contact would be vastly different to how someone would from the main timeline, where Danny succeeded and there was no catastrophe. Conflict is that they don’t know who’s timeline they’re in and what they should do. Added to all that, TUE takes place after Reign Storm and Danny defeats Pariah. Huh that might be why the Observants were looking into his destiny specifically. A guerrilla ghost war between Dan the Ghost King and the Observants with the Earth caught in the middle sounds like a Bad Time™️. Like, bad enough of a time that the JL time-traveler from that world full-stop wants to go with the Kill-Baby-Hitler route on Phantom, even. This can be amplified by how much or how little humanity has recovered from Dan at that point.

I still don’t know who all has time travelled in the JL, or if it’s just Bart and Booster. But then it occurred to me. It’s not just the heroes that time travel. From meme-education, I know that Reverse Flash’s whole schtick is that he’s time traveling specifically to ruin Barry Allen’s life. Which of these TUE divergent timelines is he from? How does that effect his approach to Phantom? Does he try and corrupt Danny, young and impressionable, to the dark side with the mentorship he lacks? Do other villains hear about a boy who becomes the next Big Bad, but has an open window of malleability? Do they decide to get rid of Phantom, deciding a danger to the world is a danger to themselves and their plans?

Do heroes and villains, starting with the time travelers, break rank and cross the aisle based on how they think Phantom should be handled? Who is Switzerland in this? Are the Observants not satisfied and mobilizing against Danny again? JL:D I imagine are in crisis-mitigation mode after the first time someone said ‘High King of the Infinite Realms’ in the same breath as ‘within ten years’ and can no longer be reached. Going a step further, is Danny or Amity at all aware of any of this or is it business as usual? Or, is something/someone preventing the chaos from reaching them after first contact?

TL;DR, time travelers from different TUE timelines accidentally spark a DC (civil?) war after first contact with Phantom, either wanting to pull him to the side of good or evil, kill him or spare him. Once janitor, attempted glory-hound, reluctant time-cop Booster Gold gets shepherd-hooked by Clockwork, Master of Time, to fix it.

It had already been a few months since Damian got married to his friend Ellie, and he was very happy. I'm not sure how to explain it to his family or, worse, her family, but that can wait. It happened while he was traveling with her together on vacation through the countries. And he chated and wrote her like four times a day.

While Damian hid it from his family, Dani didn't, as she first told Sam. Jazz and Maddie are working on how to tell Danny. And then Danny learned about it, and he left to meet that boy in Gotham. It had been a long time since he had been in Gotham. And the observers wanted that one person called Doctor Simon Hurt; too many souls died thanks to him.

He was joined by Skulker on this mission. Skulker was just happy to hunt something new, as he didn't try to hunt Danny anymore. The pain that Danny did to his Robot Body he felt on his real boy!

Well, Dani kind of followed Danny; she wanted to make sure he didn't turn her into a widow! She didn't even tell him about her being a meta!

There was something not many people knew about Danny that he himself never noticed, as Amity Park had known him since he was a baby. And being pretty carefree in your demeanor doesn't help. But once outside of Gotham or at Gala with Vlad, people notice it, like Lex Luthor that very short moment in the Gala.

Here in Gotham,

Danny met his son-in-law, and he found the boy interesting. Sam had told him about the child of Bruce Wayne, the playboy billionaire. But he wasn't sure why the boy was so jumpy. I mean, Skulker isn't even near them; already, with few of his duplicates had found Dr. Hurt and captured him already. And Danny others looked if that Owl group still existed since the last time he cleaned them up.

Danny is too powerful for most normal people to fear. Only with good instinct will he notice how formidable he truly is.

So poor Damian's whole body was in horror at this moment. His instinct made him able to notice it fully.

Damian twitched as he was just near Dani's Father, no matter how he tried to hide or stop it. This man made him think of his grandfather, General Zod or similiar. He wanted to draw his Sword, but he didn't have it near him.

Damian smiled at Dani as he tried to play it cool. But when you notice your father-in-law's shadow moving, HE HAS SEEN WORSE! He can do this!

And after a good dinner and talk he got the support of Danny; Ellie smiled; she wouldn't be a widow; and Damian was happy he was accepted and didn't have to fight this villain, maybe? or in the future. Damian didn't get to sigh in relief as Danny left and whispered something about collecting something.

No! Damian, doesn't care!

He wants alone time with his wife. Only to be told "he was to come with his family to Amity Park to meet the Fenton. Damian's family should meet theirs."

Dani told him they would come, and she would Call them 1 or 2 days bore that first before Damian could say anything.

As Danny was outside of Gotham, Skulker came to him with his few duplicates, holding four tiny blue-gold mixed-eyed children. "Skulker, you destroyed how they were created and so they can't do it again?" Skulker:"Yup, destroyed both Dionesium and Electrum and let few pets out to eat them, it wasn't Lazarus Pit which is needed after all and has nothing to do with us in the Zone. Also I sent copies of the Court members, very damning evidence of their crimes to many newspapers and reporters all around the US. Did you know they blackmailed a few Senators? It will be a comedy in a few days; you can tell that goth girl to tell her family." Danny nodded his head at that. " The cover-ups for this one?" Skulker:" Yes, Mr. Freeze will do it, as last thanks for helping to heal his wife." Danny:" Good, we can leave then. I am hungry."

Skulker:" Didn't you just eat?"

At Amity Park, it didn't take long for Jazz to just accept the new 4 Owlet babies and raise them, she really is wanting to raise them. True, Danny had no plan for them, but that works too. And now they just have to wait for Damian to visit with his family.

At Gotham, after the chaos was fixed by Mr. Freeze and the new chaos started by the news and police forces and even villains attacking the higher class… Bruce meets and learns about his son's wife, and he is told to meet her family in Amity Park. Damian warned his father, his new father-in-law, that this is very scary and not normal.
