Prompt 141
Jason, to none of the batfam’s knowledge, is the equivalent of a premature baby to Realms beings.
A baby with an underdeveloped core struggling to take in ecto naturally, and is instinctively crying and raging because like any baby, doesn’t understand why. Only knows that it’s hungry and it hurts. So it throws a tantrum, unable to do anything but get upset because it doesn’t know what else to do.
A wandering spirit however, might just happen to hear said core-screeching if they get close enough. A wandering spirit might just be alarmed enough to contact a ghost doctor, such as one of the Yetis.

Dick Grayson, Age 8: This house is so empty, and there's no kids to play with... I wish I had a brother. Maybe even lots!
Dick Grayson, 20 years later: *trying to break up a fight between Tim and Damian, while Jason laughs about it instead of helping and Duke films it.* G_d, I was wrong. I was so, so wrong.

[ source: (S2) Ep.100 - Enough (Part 1) ]
I’m sorry, but why do we keep continuing to act as if Jason was out on the streets jacking tires because he felt like it?
Why frame this as Jason just being an angry kid doing angry kid things because he’s parentless (or powerless and lashing out or whatever) when he was stealing the tires off the batmobile so he could feed himself because he was disadvantaged - ie: homeless. He was fucking homeless - ?
I’m probably nitpicking, but I don’t give a shit. Also, the narrative that Bruce is who “made” Jason a good person “against all the odds” is such bullshit.

Gotham War: Red Hood Issue #2? More like Everyone in Gotham is Horny for Jason Todd.
Get it girl.
Everyone is asking, "Where is Red Hood?" but does anyone ask "HOW is Red Hood?"
spoiler alert: He is Not Good.
Everyone: Well Gotham War is problematic because --
Me: Yeah yeah yeah, but have you considered that I'm having a great time watching everyone fight over Jason Todd?
Rose is the only person in the world who understands Jason like I do.
Some Scholar: Well I read comics because of their commentary on --
Me: Well, I read comics because I want to see a bunch of silly people dressed up in silly costumes fighting over my favorite character while he goes insane, okay? Good.

Where the Bats Come to Hide
Part 1
What if the reason Damian loves and wants so many animals isn't just because they are cute what if it's the protection.
A giant Great Dane who is a cuddly weapon.
Damian trained Titus. A dog who is 200 pounds and pure muscle. An animal who can guard Damian while he sleeps who's weight every night is a reminder that someone will die and sacrifice themselves before allowing any harm to come to its owner. Who Damian can in a heart beat call when he wakes up in a cold sweat and feels like someones lurking in the shadows.
He loves his family trusts them but nights when he can't stop shaking or when he goes to take a shower but can't leave his back unguarded all he has to do is look to the corner and see his protecter ready and waiting.
He doesn't have to worry about if his brothers or father will might make fun of him because he doesn't feel safe Titus and Alfred are right there.
He chooses to sleep with his knife yet he doesn't have to because Titus is ready.
Animals don't betray you and he can sleep peacfully under the protection of his best friend.
A best friend who is a whistle away who won't judge or misunderstand who knows and loves Damian unconditionally.

I gave myself a writing challenge and I am fascinated by it
So basically I put the robins in a randomizer to give them a new order/role (because I just...kinda wanted to see what would happen + I like role-reversal AUs) and got results that are giving me a fucking brain blast.
Stephanie, the first sidekick who defines the role
Tim, the sidekick who dies and comes back wrong
Dick, the sidekick who saves Batman from himself
Damian, the sidekick who was never supposed to be a sidekick but would go on to prove everyone wrong
Jason, the youngest sidekick who is still the Kid Wonder
...So this is fucking wild. I've got some ideas and several of these fit perfectly (Dick's role is pretty similar to his one in canon), but some of these are fucking INCREDIBLE to explore (Steph being the first Robin is something I never even considered but tbh I kinda love it).
I probably won't write a fic or anything because tbh I don't like publishing my writing that much, but I might expand this into a full AU and post about it. I might randomize other stuff too (ie, stuff that I cannot change vs stuff that I cannot keep the same) but this fucking rules as a starting point.

It was The Good Place for Janet, too. She was never a human being who died and went to heaven or hell or anywhere. She was made to be a walking talking, helping aid for dead humans, who knew everything and everyone, and never even had a soul. No one even bothered to make her one because they never needed her to be anything more than that.
Jason knew she was already more than that. He knew what it was like to be dismissed, and used, and have bad luck in life. He knew what it was like to get the short straw, and he never saw Janet as less because of that. He saw her heart before she even knew she had one or could grow one. Ultimately, she evolved. She grew a heart and a soul and a mind of her own because Jason believed she already had all of these things. Believed she was already an important being of existence, who could feel and care and love, because anyone can, surely. Even the ones not even programmed to. In his own way, Jason knew that everyone could evolve.
He saw her and let her have space and a voice in his life and around him at all times. He respected her, from being a being of knowledge to a proud not a girl. He never dismissed her, never used her, always asked. Always appreciated her helping him and always saw her as what she was to him from the very beginning: his friend.
And then, if he was so lucky, his wife.

Where's the fic series that centers on Bruce going back in time for a bit at different times and getting a moment with each of his children as little babies so I can read it while listening to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins
Haven't actually read a fic series about this just begging on my knees for it to be real lol
