I have not read yet the Task Force Z and Suicide Squad comics where Jason is part of the teams, but I like to imagine that working under Amanda Waller, who worked/works for the US military at a pretty high rank, is how he learns that Bruce was going to murder the Joker in the UN headquarter.

Chapter Twenty-One: The Leda Method

Bruce doubled over, his knees and forehead hitting the snow. “Bruce, I told you that no one’s been able to do it. It’s a myth. Now, will you let me call a doctor?” the young woman accompanying him reasoned in German. 

“If it wasn’t working, I’d be dead, Leda. Now, can you leave my bag and wait for me in the cabin?” Bruce asked. His stomach betrayed him, and he clutched his belly, nearly crying from the pain as Leda quietly obeyed his orders. 

“I hope you shit yourself,” Leda snapped at him. She kicked snow at him as she walked toward the cottage. 

Bruce wailed and moaned as he allowed the poison to run its course. Once he was able to sit up, he tried to clean up and change into the clothes in his bag. He managed to dress and crawl halfway to the cabin before the fever took him, and he collapsed in the snow.

Leda dabbed a damp cool towel across Bruce’s forehead as she quietly cursed at him in German. Bruce grabbed her wrist. She softened as Bruce shivered and held his stomach. She grabbed a trash bin and held it up for him to throw up. Bruce tried to speak, but he could only make out a weak, “Leda,” as he tried to get his bearings.

“I’m sorry I snapped at you… But what you did was incredibly stupid,” Leda apologized. 

Bruce shut his eyes and tried to smile to reassure her. “You feel bad about telling me to shit myself,” Bruce mumbled. 

“I only feel bad because you’re still so sick… You can’t die before I find out why you’re so disturbed,” Leda whispered as she held back tears. He lay back and Leda dabbed the sweat from his brow. “What could’ve happened to you that made you this way?”

“I can’t die… I have school on Tuesday,” Bruce half-joked. Leda shook her head at him. He didn’t want to talk about the past. 

He knew things would’ve been different if he kept going to Dr. Paterson, but he hated the way people treated him with all the labels. Comorbidity. He hated the use of the word as a weapon against him. Teachers and staff treated him like a problem to be swept under the rug until he was forced to play the part of a normal kid. If it hadn’t been for Harvey accepting him as he was, he would’ve given up on living altogether. BPD, OCD, PTSD. Autism. Dr. Paterson was instrumental in giving Bruce the tools to blend in, but it only allowed him to pretend he was okay when he wasn’t. He’d gotten so good at pretending that he convinced his parents he didn’t need help anymore. 

Talking about his past meant he had to admit to himself that he wasn’t in control. Everything he’d fought so hard to bury inside himself overflowed and slowly consumed him. He was in way over his head, and he was willing to die to conquer an imaginary threat that lurked just around the corner. 

His eyes fluttered as he fought to stay conscious. It wasn’t death. It was much worse than death. It was fever and exhaustion. It was a success. And with every painful success came the urge to up the ante. Bruce wouldn’t stop until it killed him, and it terrified him sometimes. 

He was in and out of consciousness for almost two days, and his fever finally broke that Sunday. Leda lay fast asleep with her head tilted back in a recliner, while Bruce stood up and walked to the bathroom. He didn’t want to wake her. Besides, he just wanted to shower in peace and quiet. It felt like he’d been in the shower for almost an hour before he felt clean. He brushed his teeth and stared at himself in the mirror. He looked hollow. Dark circles around his eyes. His cheeks were a little sunken. His skin was pale. His parents would’ve been heartbroken to see him that way. He wouldn’t have cared so much if it wasn’t for that thought. 

He stepped out of the room, and Leda sat up in the chair, pushing her hair out of her face. “ Leda, go back to sleep. You’ve done too much for me already, ” Bruce whispered. 

“Okay… Heat up the potato soup for me. And you should eat, too,” Leda commanded. Bruce nodded. “When are you poisoning yourself again?” 

“Weekend after next. I need to know I’ll be well before my family visits,” Bruce replied. 

“So, they don’t know you’re like this. What are you like with your mother and father, then?” Leda questioned. Bruce didn’t answer. He washed his hands and heated up both bowls of soup in the microwave. “ Bruce? What do your parents know? ” 

“Nothing. They don’t know about the training, the poison, the reason why I’m studying abroad now… They think I’m here to get to know our family. Are you going to tell them?” Bruce asked. Leda hesitated. “Leda, please.” 

“I want to understand why. I need to know why before I lie for you,” Leda replied.

A few weeks later, Bruce’s family came to visit for Thanksgiving, and Leda enlisted Bruce’s help in cooking a large meal, showcasing some of their favorite childhood dishes. Bruce helped braid the dough while he explained the process of Martha’s candy apples to Leda. “Your mother sounds lovely,” Leda smiled as they made eye contact. 

“Thank you. She is. Can I ask about your mother?” Bruce questioned. 

Leda nodded as she carefully skewered the apples. “She’s unwell… I invited her, but I don’t expect to see her,” Leda whispered. Bruce politely nodded. “It’s hard for you… to look people in the eye. It feels forced.”

“It’s respectful… And I care about what you’re saying to me. How else do I—?”

“You don’t have to force eye contact with me. If you can’t be strange around me after almost killing yourself in front of me, who can you be strange around?” Leda chuckled. Bruce smiled and thanked her. “My father’s coming with my brothers and sister.”

“He is? What’s he like?” Bruce asked. 

“He’s a writer like me… Well, not like me. He writes works of fiction. Romance and coming-of-age novels,” Leda replied. 

“And what do you write?” Bruce innocently asked. 

“Cookbooks and short biographies on people who are willing to share their recipes. I often cooked with my grandparents when my mother got sick,” Leda answered. 

Bruce finished braiding the dough and checked the oven to baste the turkey. “When do I put the lamb in?” Bruce questioned. 

“You have to go to the airport to pick up your family. You can use my car,” Leda replied. Bruce gasped as he glanced at his watch, and he took his apron off. “Be safe.” 

“I will. Thanks, Leda. You’re the best,” Bruce smiled. 

Leda chuckled and shook her head. “I’ll gas up your car.” Bruce slipped his shoes and coat on before rushing out the door. Leda reached into her pocket, and Bruce rushed back in. 

“You need the keys,” Leda laughed as she dropped the keys into his hand. Bruce kissed her cheek. “See you in a little while, stupid.

I can't remember if this is an original idea I never did anything with or if I've stumbled around fic like it before so help me out here:

Jason comes back and Hoods around like in canon but his ghost saw Bruce and Dick mourn and how Tim actually became Robin etc and also Dick and Bruce both almost killing Joker and thus has far less anger issues and time to work through the PTSD and most crucially, the ghost does not disappear once Jason comes back to live.

And obviously someone alive can communicate with ghosts (I'd probably pick Dick but y'know)

Jason todd is a POC with PTSD and medicated depression. The white streak in his hair was actually just from a mixture of Lazarus pit and stress. Also, possibly the least autistic member of the bat family next to dick. Almost all of them are on the spectrum some are just lower.

Damian Wayne is autistic with low empathy and on the aro/ace spectrum.

Bruce Wayne is also autistic with high empathy but not very talkative. He is also bisexual.

Tim Drake has accidentally reinvented meth trying to stay up even longer to do hero work. He didn't get to try it for obvious reasons. Also, ADHD.

Adam warlock feels hot to the touch but not enough to hurt and also is pan because I say so.

The punisher is on the aro/ace spectrum. Lower on the aro side tho.

Gwenpool is autistic. Nuff said.

Shuri should never meet peter parker under any circumstances or they will be best friends and it will be everyone else's problem.

Captain America is bi. And a power bottom.

Bucky is gay as shit, or at least queer. He is overprotective towards his super soldier boyfriend Steve Rogers.

Tony is a bisexual but with such a leaning towards women that it barely meets the requirements.

Miles Morales carries an extra meal on him at all times. He and his family survived their universe dying because he gave molecule man a 8 year old burger. He is going to bring and extra sandwich just in case.

Doom Guy is on the aro/ace spectrum, and has low level autism with high empathy (not to demons tho) and... Just basically being entirely nonverbal. He knows asl.

Wolfman is a racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, everythingaphobic psychopath. And also bisexual, though he would never actually figure that out. He is also a cannibal.

The stranger is pan and ace, and so is the trader because it's basically the forest's clone of him. They are also both a little non-binary because I say so.

Hatsune Miku and venom snake would be best friends. Because I say so

All of the snakes are bisexual and autistic. (Solid and otacon, big boss and kaz, venom and ocelot, and liquid and solidus get no bitches)

Caiaphas Cain is a military savant with impostor syndrome, and also very, very low on the aromatic spectrum.

I was asked a question about my head canons for AK Jason. I was asked “how would he meet the girl?” The answer, it would be strictly coincidental. It’s wouldn’t be like a he knew you and you knew him and you guys fells slowly in love after seeing each other and get married and grow old. No. It would be purely a happenstance. Like in my fanfics I’m writing. The relationship forming between the reader and Jason is slow. In the comic (spoiler) you help him and that’s why he keeps coming back. You left an impression but also created a space he can go.

The next question was “how would he hurt them?” In short, it could be physically or emotionally. Could be both. If he were to physically hurt you it’s A because you scared him and he’s a jumpy guy (understandably) he has serious flight and is brain almost shuts off when he’s scared. In the part 3 or 4 in the series he reacts strongly to your unannounced appearance and let’s just say you are left horrified and quite literally traumatized and maybe a little scared of water. (I will not explain the water thing. You’ll find out 😂) , it could be during you comforting him while he’s coming down from a nightmare, PTSD episode, etc. He’ll cling to you his fingers digging into your skin. Heck depending on how things go down he might actually swing on you. (Which will hurt) the last thing, to be honest would be deliberate. You made him angry enough, (which could be easy or hard. Depends on the day) however, when it’s said and done, he doesn’t know how to react. He doesn’t exactly know what to do. Sure say sorry but like….he just hit someone he might care about, a person who certainly care more about him then he cares for himself.

Uptown Girl by orphan_account (Stephanie Brown/Cassandra Cain), 60k, Case Fic, Friends to Lovers Stephanie Brown has three problems: a supervillain father with a deadly scavenger hunt in the works, a mysterious rich girl who's way too interested in her life, and one really, really painful hobby. Alternatively: a different kind of Spoiler origin story.

The Lois Angle by cabezas_de_vaca (gen), 15k, Bruce & Lois Friendship, Case Fic What she had with Bruce was novel, exhilarating. She had fallen in love several times, and that was like a great swoop of a wing, a flash and flush and then long tumble, but this was like a warmth that welled up from within. This was Bruce grappling up to her thirtieth story Metropolis apartment, stowing the Batsuit in the bathroom, and watching StarTrek with her. This was her driving to the manor when she couldn't sleep, only to find she could do it there. This was having a friend. Or: Despite the long shadow Batman casts and the demands of being one of the youngest Pulitzer winners ever, Bruce and Lois manage to steady each other, in the way that only friends can. Also, there's a case they need to solve. 

the scientific method by orphan_account (gen), 20k, Sibling Bonding, Duke-centric 5 stupid ways Duke's siblings discovered how his powers worked, and 1 time he figured it out for himself. "You have no idea," Dick said. "I had to live through all of their teenage years. They were each independently obsessed with Mythbusters at separate points in their life. I'm pretty sure Cass and Tim have wanted a meta to experiment on since they were 14, but Bruce always said no."

Meet Me Where You're Going by Hinn_Raven (Stephanie Brown/Cassandra Cain), 68k, Slow Burn, Mutual Pining When things get complicated in Hong Kong, Cass requests help from Batman Inc. Unbeknownst to her, Bruce dispatches not one of her brothers, but Stephanie Brown, who Cass has not spoken to since she gave up the Batgirl mantle. Steph is eager to reunite with her best friend, but things between them are complicated. Not the least of the problems is the fact that Steph might be falling in love… but of course, Cass is straight, so Steph really shouldn’t dwell on that. Friendship and romance, conspiracy and adventure await the two of them as they try to unravel a complicated plot that seeks to stop Batman Incorporated before it can truly begin.

when you move, fall like a thunderbolt by orphan_account (Stephanie Brown/Cassandra Cain), 5k, Villain!Steph, Canon Divergence In another universe, Stephanie Brown's plans to kill her father aren't interrupted by Batman. Which means nobody stops her from tripping and falling headlong into running her own gang, and then a little more intentionally rising to the top of the underworld. Meanwhile, seeing as Bruce only has one kid who actually wants to carry on the good name, Cassandra Cain takes over as the Batman of Gotham's future. This would be a fine turn of events if it weren't for the fact that they've been dating on-and-off for ten years.

falling without caution by coffeecrowns (gen), 17k, Bad Parent!Bruce, PTSD Jason is twenty, decidedly less into murder, trying to avoid developing agoraphobia, and putting together some pieces into a life. Tim is sixteen, riding the edge of burnout, and in a show of his truly baffling survival instincts, decides Jason is friend shaped. 

MICE ON VENUS by NEOCULTUREDAUS (gen), 3k, Tim & Damian Bonding “Timothy, if this is revenge for me trying to kill you, I need you to know I’m not sorry.” Damian’s eyes were clamped shut, hands fisting Tim’s hoodie so tightly that if Tim tried moving, he simply wouldn't be able to. “I’m not trying to get revenge. And open your eyes, you can’t ride a skateboard with them closed.” Tim patronized, prying Damian’s hands off him, you know, like someone evil who didn’t care for the wellbeing of his younger brother. Or The one where skater Tim takes his artist younger brother graffiti painting

So Sweet Saluteth Me by Lishalalalalala (gen), 7k, Good Dad!Bruce Sleep deprived™ Jason hangs out with Dick then they surprise Bruce at work with early lunch and some love. This fic is inspired by farmers’ markets on those summery days and the belief that if I run fast enough the sad can never catch me. (I mean you are telling me that Bruce Thomas/Alan Wayne wouldn’t be absolutely BASKING in joy if his kids just decided to randomly show up at Wayne Enterprise and pay him a little midday visit? )

to count by miles or days or people (when will i stop missing you) by jcp_sob_rjl_lmep (gen), 22k, Angst, Hurt/Comfort When Duke is kidnapped off of the streets of Gotham on his way back to the Manor from visiting his parents, it sends the entire Batfamily into a panic. With very little evidence to go on and time slipping past them, there's no help coming as Duke is forced to make a grand escape and get himself home before his kidnappers find him once more.

Not a doctor, but trying to use my experience as a long term Anxiety Disorder Haver to figure out what could have happened to Jason in Gotham War. Listen, I know comic book science is made up, but let me have my 'fun'.

This is also a lot about how trauma and anxiety chemically works and Jason and Trauma in general.

(Discussing my own anxiety disorder a lot here, so don't click if that might be upsetting. Also please minimize the Bruce discourse here. I wanna talk about Jason.)

So there's two main elements to anxiety. There's the emotional element, the kind you can deal with in therapy, and the physical element, the kind you can deal with via medication.

I related a lot to Jason in Gotham War, because I have very physical anxiety. Even when I can calmly reason through a situation, my nervous system is very physically reactive to the point where I'll be holding a conversation and cracking jokes while seizing. Unmedicated, like Jason, I couldn't do light exercise without triggering a panic attack.

What Jason seems to be experiencing is an issue with his nervous system. To massively oversimplify, because I'm not a doctor, let's say the sympathetic nervous system is the gas, the parasympathetic system is the brakes, and triggers are the foot that decides when to push the pedals down.

When you're in a situation where you need to be amped up, your body hits the gas. You get adrenaline, faster heart rate, fight or flight, but this state isn't sustainable. First, it's very resource intensive. Second, it's a state designed to Do Something, and is very emotionally stressful if there's nothing to Do. This is why people with anxiety disorders can often function in actual danger, because that's what those reactions are designed for.

PTSD is pretty much 'your body hits the gas because your brain has misidentified a safe situation as a dangerous one due to previous experience'. Jason pretty consistently shows signs of PTSD, which makes sense. He has pretty much never been in a safe situation. Even before he was a vigilante and brutally murdered, being homeless, especially as a kid, requires constant vigilance. Most people of any age develop a level of PTSD after living homeless. Witnessing the death of a parent, (depending on the canon) growing up in an abusive home, and being homeless again while brain damaged and vulnerable could all cause PTSD on their own.

We see Jason be triggered a number of times. We also see him trying to self sooth and manage, to 'hit the brakes'. The 'breath deep' on his door in the new Boy Wonder, his stack of books on trauma and chronic pain management in Three Jokers, ect.

So Jason's already got his foot on the mental pedal. He's already scared, and for good reason. His world has always, always been violent. His behavior in Gotham War looks a lot less like ZEA!Bruce turned up the engine and a lot more like he cut the brakes.

As somebody who's experienced the 'lightly jog, and you have a panic attack', it's pretty much a failure of the parasympathetic side of things. You want some adrenaline for a light run. You need to take in more oxygen, but, when your nervous system isn't regulating, it goes out of control. It keeps amping up until you're breathing so fast that you aren't actually processing the oxygen you're taking in. These heightened states are rough on your whole body. When your body is running danger mode, it's not supporting things like sleep, digestion, and wound-healing.

What makes this more horrifying is ZEA!Bruce seemed to feel this would be permanent, even if Jason tried to reverse it, which means it wasn't just an injection the system would flush. To me, the most logical conclusion would be that the injection would have done permanent damage to the parts of his brain that kick in the parasympathetic nervous system.

This also... wouldn't keep him from killing. Jason is usually a calm killer, not a passion killer. Physical excitement is what the body is supposed to do in violent situations. It's much more likely to cause a panic attack in a safe situation where there's no physical outlet. He can take a shot without nervous system excitement. It would keep him from, or at least interfere with things like: -Jogging -Having sex -Watching emotionally intense media -Handling triggers Like, he definitely wouldn't be able to operate as Red Hood because RH does intel work, extended battles, etc, but he could very much kill.

SSRI's probably would not be that helpful, a serotonin tends to help more with stopping anxiety at the 'thought spiral' part than dealing with the nervous system. SNRI's and beta blockers would be a better bet, though Bruce clearly didn't think those would be enough to let him operate at Red Hood.

So... how is he better? Well, the actual answer is 'comic are bullshit', but let's try and roll with it. The given reason is Joker Gas, which is odd because Joker Gas seems to function like... a neurotoxin? A stimulant? My best guess would be that dying or brain damage in general is kicking in some sort of residual Lazarus healing factor and repairing the physical structure that controls the parasympathetic system.

I normally don't really feel comfortable discussing NSFW topics, but I've seen an increase in a very specific type of jason todd content, mostly from one user in particular, that, to me personally, is kind of weird and inaccurate.

Disclaimer: I am in no way trying to kink shame anyone or attack anyone. As long as it's consensual, legal, and not hurting anyone, do what makes you happy. This particular subject is just not for me and this post is going to be more about my headcannons that I've based on canon events as well as my own opinion of jason todd.

So, I've seen an increase in a particular kind of jason content, mostly fueled by like 1 or 2 specific users, portraying jason as this real rough, dominant dude who likes to degrade and choke during sex. I don't really like blocking people, but I might have to block these users. Don't get me wrong, they're not doing anything wrong, it just makes me uncomfortable, personally, as someone who's not into choking or stuff like that. and they don't put the read more line so you kind of have to see it when you're scrolling. I also find it completely inaccurate. Like the people requesting these and writing these looked at one or two images of jason but don't really know anything about the character themselves. So, I'm gonna put some of my own headcannons as someone who has studied this dude for a few years now:

First, Judd Winnick has confirmed over Twitter that jason cries during sex. Now obviously, judd winnick doesn't own Jason and many writers have their own interpretation, but winnick is basically the father and creator of post resurrection Jason and kind of set the blueprint for his behaviors, beliefs, etc. So for that reason, when he posts his own headcannons about jason, I feel more obligated (if that's the right word) to kind of accept it as canon, even when it's really not.

It also just makes sense. It's not as widely talked about, but it's very normal and natural to cry after an orgasm. Sex for a lot of people is considered a very intimate act and an orgasm is like an explosion of pleasure. It can be a little much for people, especially those who haven't experienced it alot, and some people (like myself) don't always know how to handle that much stimulus and feeling all at once and crying is a normal reaction to that. And jason is someone who's not the most intimate person.

Second, I feel like Jason is inexperienced. A lot of these blurbs have him knowing exactly what to do, what spots to hit, totally experienced and "professional". We're talking about a guy who spent 12 years in poverty, 3 years as robin while also being in school, dead, and then training with the league while battling mental illness, ptsd, brain damage, etc. And then in under the red hood, he's very focused on his plan. Even after that in general, he's with the outlaws, on a case, you name it. Dude is always busy with something work wise. I don't see him having a lot of time and energy to be fucking enough to not be awkward.

Speaking of awkward, I've always headcannoned that dude has ZERO rizz. All the reasons I mentioned above, he's probably super socially awkward. That dude is definitely terrible at dirty talk like the stuff I see in those blurbs. I mean, even Isabel has canonically said jason is not a very good kisser.

Third, I DOUBT he's into choking or being rough. All the abuse and shit he's been through, i headcannon that he is more like the opposite. It's intimate, relaxed, soft, etc. He can get a little intense, but not rough or anything.

He's probably actually what some would consider "boring". Pretty standard missionary stuff, maybe sometimes he's getting ridden , probably has oral and stuff, but he does not strike me as a kinky guy

Dude also probably has a normal average dick. I've seen some "8 inches" type shit. Really? 8 inches? I don't remember exactly what the average is in the us, but I'm pretty sure it's like 5 or 6inches.

I can't explain this one, but it's a pretty common headcannon for no real reason, but the vibes, jason is an ass and thighs man. Enough said.

As much as I'd love to think he's the kind of guy who loves spooning and all that, I feel like he's actually the opposite. Bare minimum aftercare kind of stuff and then he's back in his own head again.

temporal temp work, a Batman Beyond and WFA style fluid comic canon crossover (but mostly Bruce amnesia recovery/character study)

Bruce lost his memory. He has no idea who Batman is, or what he's done for the past 30 years of his life.

Bruce is still a detective, despite the holes in his memory. He keeps noticing little tells, bruises, signs of lying. He knows he did something in his spare time, he's not sure what.

The batfamily decide that if it's not going to come back easily, then they should treat it as a retirement for Batman. They all came to an agreement, that they would be "as civilian as possible" around Bruce as to not put pressure on him to perform as Batman when he's not ready.

Alfred and Dick had gently explained that they won't tell him anything until he comes to a conclusion by himself and tells the family. If he gets it correct, then they can talk about it. If he doesn't, they can't. The Batcave is still open for him to find.

(he's in the world's most elaborate detective game, basically.)

in the meantime, Bruce focuses more on the company, on bonding with his suddenly large brood of kids, and legal methods of fixing Gotham.

Everyone's backstories remain similar to what the press knows. Jason's case is special, as he's dead. So Jason explains that he did survive, he was mad at Bruce for a while, so he got out to get his own place. They are slowly repairing their relationship.

Damian also flat out goes: "Yeah I was grown in a jar for the League of Assassins." and everyone nods and goes along with it. Jason even says he's seen the jar.

He even starts to bond with Tim, Jason, and Duke again over investigating crime. (well. More for the kids to solve it.)

The ones that fight the most for Batman to come back, the ones that make the most progress in getting Bruce to remember are Tim and Terry, since they were the ones that got him out of his funks in canon.

Bruce has nightmares. Despite losing the context of the fears, he still has them, he still can remember some Caped Adventures. He blames that for his nocturnal sleep schedule.

The Justice League dropped by in capes, trying to get him to remember.

Bruce gets totally suspicious that he's funding an entire space station. It takes him a week to crack every. single. founding JL member's ID, and even some sidekicks...Except Batman and his merry brood of birds and bats. (It doesn't help that the Dark Knight has been missing. no new data.)

The Gotham Rogues are starting to get gutsy. The Batfamily is stretched thin. It gets to the point where either scientists or magicians step in and try to "Summon Batman".

This is where Terry comes in. He gets summoned with Ace the Bathound. They survive on the streets of Gotham, then find Nightwing and Red Robin facing off against a Joker that's "pining for his eternal rival"

Tim is barely in danger but Terry's instincts go full throttle and he starts to roast. They see Ace has a harness with a Wayne Security badge and a license that are both dated for decades in the future.

Dick and Tim take Terry home. Say he's a friend in a tight spot, but Bruce sees right through it. Terry is the seventh black haired kid to be sheltered by Bruce and he knows it's a ploy to jog his memory. He's not having it. Terry also isn't interested in playing along with that either, instead loudly acknowledging he's got family already.

Ace gets along well with lots of the Batfamily. Terry makes a comment that he was trained as a PTSD-support dog. He knows how to sit and block people from getting into your space, how to use his weight as a grounding method. Bruce starts researching getting one for the house.

The batfamily train Terry on the streets for a few nights just in case. Nightwing goes back to Bludhaven. Dick does as well, and Bruce figures the connection quickly. The Justice League is seen with a new Batman.

Terry decides to annoy Bruce into becoming Batman again. Being ever so slightly off kilter, but still dedicated to helping. Always saying "If the guy I'm temping for doesn't like it, he can come out and do the job again."

Terry sees Bruce's psych profiles and list of Batman and Batman II suspects and makes a comment. "You writing a murder mystery or something?"

"Or something."

"What's the seventh rule of Knox's 10 commandments of detective fiction?" Terry asks.

"The detective must not commit the crime?"

"Mmm-hmm. Good thing you're not writing."

Bruce is getting tired of not knowing. Not getting better. Terry talks about how he was an assistant to an old man. That he also had trouble with being less active than he used to be.

Batman II shows up to save a hostage Bruce Wayne, and Bruce plays 20 questions. "why are you here in Gotham?"

"someone has to. And I already promised that I would."

"who did you promise? Why does it have to be you?"

"What makes this work is that I chose it. I work so I won't destroy this legacy. Me. My choice."

"You didn't say who you promised."

"The last guy who wore the bat...he got swallowed up by it. Didn't even think of himself as anything but Batman at the end." He shrugged. "Separating yourself from the mask is important. You know about Superman, yeah? He needs that job. He needs his friends and family, if not to feel human, just to be the best he can. Bruce. You have your friends and family. What are you willing to do to protect it?"

idk i can't figure out a suitably appropriate and dramatic emotional situation where Bruce figures it out. But he does.

Bruce gathers all of the family in the Wayne Study for a Classic Detective Reveal. He goes through the Batfamily one by one an unmasks each of them correctly, even confirming the ones who had other identities.

Bruce takes up the Cowl again, this time with a little more restraint and respect to his Bruce Wayne identity.

Terry goes back to Neo Gotham, stronger and happier that he knows the Batfamily.

He has the antisocial personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, PTSD and is super possessive.

His friends are Laughing Jack, Jeff the Killer, Bloody Painter and KageKao, mainly.

He's a skilled writer, able to write beautiful texts with little effort.

Jason loves the scent after blowing out candles.

One of his hobbies is fixing broken weapons, always proud of himself once he finished.

Once someone becomes a fond one, they won't ever escape him. He's extremely clingy, possessive and will threaten them if they try to leave.

He doesn't know when he's doing something wrong. Example: After threatening someone he likes because of reasons, and they lash out at him, he'll be super confused, not knowing what he did wrong.

No matter what he does, he will ALWAYS defend his actions.

Doesn't usually torture a lot when killing but still tends to be sadistic.

LOVES listening to someone playing piano while he's working on something, it helps him to not get distracted.

When he's mad, he will punch walls aggressively and rip out his hair, blaming anyone but not himself for whatever made him this mad.

He laughs like Peter Griffin.

His comfort is gore, basically. When killing, he tries to make it as gory/bloody as possible.

His best friends are Nina, Clockwork, Jill and Pinkamena.

Jack has PTSD and psychosis.

This guy has claustrophobia, to be honest.

His tongue is really long, just like his arms.

When he's mad, he'll be extremely loud mouthed, more than he already is anyway.

Speaking off, he'd do ANYTHING to make his friends laugh, hurting anyone's feelings just to make fond ones smile and giggle, even if the one he's making fun of is having a rage burst or mental break down.

He's overly clingy and can be very sassy.

Biggest ENFP

He loves taking care of Sally and Lazari since they replace what he needed back then: A friend.

Even if he always dresses black and white, he has a small little bow somewhere on his body, usually because of Nina.

Constantly craves candy, chips and chocolate milkshake, giggling while devouring that shit.

Hates Rouge for some unknown reasons, just like Wilson.

Can come off as overly playful and childish, even though he's highly manipulative, easily leading his victims into some trap just to violently torture the living shit out of them.

When anyone tries to hurt his fond ones, he will be extremely aggressive and violent, ready to do whatever it takes to protect the ones close to him. Loosing another person would destroy him.

When he's REALLY close to someone, he'll be really touchy and sometimes even mushy, just trying to get their attention by acting all "adorable", like some starving puppy.

Now." ________ Triton, at Poseidon's request, goes to seek out Percy; however, he finds him on the brink of death, and brings him back to Atlantis in an attempt to save his life.
