Jason just shrugged and returned to his book.

Tim was confused, he thought everyone knew that — apparently he's seen pictures of Superman and Bruce together in many news... And he assumed Batman and Superman were a couple since the start... and he was there at the gala where Bruce asked me out... Hence why he wasn't surprised when I showed up for dinner years later.

Stephanie chuckled and asked where Bruce kept the wine.

Damian tried to murder me was completely radiant about it!

Cass smiled and shook my hand. That was the most contact she shared with me since we had met.

Duke looked between us twice or thrice and just made a silent "ohh..." and later he asked me if I was being held hostage.

Alfred took out a gun and asked me to swear to make Bruce happy. It was a silly joke but just in case it wasn't I did either way. I'll love Brucie forever either way.

During a battle, Superman and Batman were struck by a beam from Mister Mxyzptlk, fracturing their personalities into three separate entities.

Bruce ended up with Batman, the aggressive dark knight; Brucie (or Wayne), the smooth talking playboy; and Bruce, the awkward loner.

Meanwhile, Clark got split into Superman, the symbol of hope; Clark Kent, the mild-mannered but persistent journalist; and Kal-El, the alien longing to be accepted.

They had to live together until they could fix things, and surprisingly, the Clarks got along great. But the Bruces? Total chaos. Batman's always raging, especially at Brucie and that "reckless, overly-righteous" Superman. Brucie's busy flirting with anyone with a pulse, making Batman super uncomfortable. And then there's Bruce, who's avoiding everyone, especially Batman.

Living together forced both Bruce and Clark to face some deep issues they've been hiding, and they ended up understanding themselves better. Batman and Bruce had long heart-to-hearts about their fears and traumas, opening up emotionally. Clark learned more about the real Superman behind the hero facade, seeing the heavy burden of responsibility and Kal-El's loneliness.

Batman started to let his guard down around the sincere Clark, who wasn't fazed by his grumpiness. Superman figured out there's more to Brucie than meets the eye and saw that he was secretly struggling to prevent Batman and Bruce from succumbing to rage or despair. Kal-El, wanting to get closer to Bruce, had to deal with Batman's protective streak first.

the batkids bet on which bruce ship will be endgame. they have a whole ass file for it that only babs and tim can see and write in.

dick knows for a fact that bruce and clark having something going on. there’s no way they haven’t at least thought about it.

jason would bet his heart and soul on diana. he doubts bruce could bag wonderwoman out of everyone but he still hopes to have her as his official step mom.

tim is 100% on harvey’s side. have you seen the way those two look at each other? classic “exes who still long for each other” troupe.

damien insists that talia is bruce’s true spouse. he’s their son for goodness sake!

cass doesn’t really care but if she were to chose, ghostbat would be her top pick.

steph throws riddler into the mix as a joke at first, but now she’s diving deeper into the rabbit hole that is his and bruce’s relationship.

similarly to cass, duke isn’t too interested. but between you and me, he swears up and down that hal has made bedroom eyes at bruce before.

Okay but how funny would it be if Bruce dated and broke up with all of them without even realizing

My AO3 reading is also [redacted] by and large, though right now the majority of my most recent reads go to the absurdly wholesome tie of superbats and spirk <3

Current obsession- oh man you have to be way more specific ;-; for gaming, I've fallen deep and hard into CK3 and mtg (mtg has been for a while but is still all consuming). for fandom, all things DC but particularly the bats and the Justice League—then also Good Omens, but I am still mentally on fire about the finale and haven't yet properly engaged in fic because. I just. I want to scream and can't fight through that to read (yet) xp oh also buffy and hannibal have both been reawakened by showing them to folks and *wails* got a lot of feels
