After I finished my undergraduate thesis on imperialism in English literature, my supervising professor told me that I should definitely do a master's degree in British and European (and why not Russian) history.

And here I am now, doing only my skincare, reading philosophy and writing articles about vampires and witches in substack.

one of the things I hate the most about university assignments, well second to referencing, is having to spend literal HOURS trying to find a relevant paper that agrees with the point I'm trying to make.

I mean 90% of my stress during my foundation year was trying to get through the scientific terminology to see if what I was saying had any scientific confirmation

to all my researchers, students and people in general who love learning: if you don't know this already, i'm about to give you a game changer

the basic rundown is: you use the search bar to enter a topic, scientific paper name or DOI. the website then offers you a list of papers on the topic, and you choose the one you're looking for/most relevant one. from here, it makes a tree diagram of related papers that are clustered based on topic relatability and colour-coded by time they were produced!

for example: here i search "human B12"

i go ahead and choose the first paper, meaning my graph will be based around it and start from the topics of "b12 levels" and "fraility syndrome"

here is the graph output! you can scroll through all the papers included on the left, and clicking on each one shows you it's position on the chart + will pull up details on the paper on the right hand column (title, authors, citations, abstract/summary and links where the paper can be found)

you get a few free graphs a month before you have to sign up, and i think the free version gives you up to 5 a month. there are paid versions but it really depends how often you need to use this kinda thing.

One issue I predicted happening is definitely happening, and that is a computer class not having accessible outlets. Seriously I only had the program the class wants us working on for maybe half an hour, my laptop hasn't been open for an hour, my battery is at 35%, this is my first class, I have an hour left.

I also believe if you spent your teenage years and childhood in a closed enviroment with little to no opportunity to get enough exercise, leisure or fresh air, sitting in a tiny room with a randomly put together group of confused af young adults, get no teachings whatsoever about learning to handle your emotions or simple to complex social relationships, then have to get home and do 3+ hours of more schoolwork, eat then sleep then do it all over again, no break from the routine whatsoever for 5 days a week (AND MORE considering homework and learnin) YOU DESERVE TO GET PAID. IT'S LABOUR.

Thinking about how at the end of everything Jayce and Viktor basically set the timeline right. They put the world back into a state without them. They only died together because ALL versions of themselves fought to do so. But they were both dead from the start. Just buying time to be with each other they didn’t have. Cursing everyone else in the process with their stupid grandfather paradox.

In an untampered world, Jayce never made it off that mountain and Viktor died from his disease.

I believe this is the arcane trying to balance itself and correct time. This concept invaded my mind when Ekko pushed the limits of his loop and Heimerdinger literally blew up in his testing. He reverses this, taking control of the arcane for himself like Jayce and Viktor had been doing for years. This doesn’t change much because Heimerdinger is later claimed by the arcane.

It was an event that was supposed to happen.

Jayce and Viktor are (finally) claimed by the arcane when Ekko throws the same anomaly that predicted and righted Heimerdinger’s death straight at them. This allowed them to accept fate together and send themselves back to the nothingness because they are an anomaly. The first anomaly. They are part of everything and they are also absolutely nothing at all.

Accept your humanity and mortality. Know that the time you make is the only time you have. We all kick the bucket eventually, best to do it surrounded by those we love. Take care of yourselves.

Part 44! Fun fact, I actually am a natural ginger, but I have been able to gaslight a specific few people into thinking that I'm blonde and just dye it. They've thought that for at least two years at this point. I want to see how long it can go lmao
