A Small Update

I feel horrible for not posting for awhile, but so much has happened! But I love seeing the interaction with everyone and feel like I owe y'all an explanation.

Ya girl got her first big girl job!! I'm teaching at a local daycare and work 8-9 hours a day. As exciting as that is, it's also draining and the last thing I usually want to do is...anything, if I'm honest. I get home at 5:45ish and crash SO hard.

Ya girl got COVID!!!!! I am 110% fine, but it was a surprise to...well, everyone. I didn't actually start feeling better until today (it's been like a week and a half). I'm on meds & have an inhaler because coughing as violently as I have really messes me up.

I'm getting married in like ... 2 months. Which REALLY messes me up because I have so much to plan and do still!

For right now, I am setting a goal to update at least once a week, most likely on the weekend when I'm not working. Anything more is a blessing.

I am also shutting off requests for right now, just because I have SO many to get to- y'all have been showing me nothin' but love and I simply ADORE it. It's overwhelming.

I love you guys, thank you for making writing worth it, and I will see you guys this weekend hopefully!

Hi Rin! I totally agree with you. You'd 110% fit right into Ignihyde! Which is funny, because I very much can see you with . . .

Idia, though he is introverted like you are, is very into anime and video games! Yes. You'd have a learning curve for awkward conversations. But start off by being his gaming buddy & that period might just be skipped over!

I can't think of a better person to listen to you gush about favorite fames/characters/hobbies/etc! He understands the need to talk about whatever interest you've got at the moment, and is so happy that you just...talk to him. He returns the favor tenfold, he could talk about the complexities of an anime's plotline and small easter eggs he's notice for hours. Ortho calls it "pulling his string", because once he's comfortable with you, you are going to get info dumped on. He sees it as a bonding strategy, and is all too happy to snuggle up with you in his dorm room, eat sweets, and watch the latest episode of that new anime you've been talking about, or rewatch Studio Ghibli movies with you! (His favorite is Spirited Away. He 110% has a thing for Lin or Haku, but is more apt to talk about the intricacies of the plot and how it's all an allegory.)

Also, he strikes me as someone who would use both your pronouns, with a favor towards they/them because he knows not many people like to use pronouns outside the binary.

Don't worry though! He's got your back on that one.

A/N: I'm just going to do headcanons for this one because I have so many requests to get through. Also, I made a small drabble about a similar topic here if you haven't read it already!

Sebek strikes me as a "PDA is not my thing" type person.

He will turn tomato red at the sheer thought of someone hugging him.

PDA in front of Malleus will get you yelled at. You have been warned.

It's not that Sebek doesn't love his S/O! He does! It's just....he's very unaccustomed to how to express said love.

His parents aren't a good example to him because he sees their relationship as not something he wants.

Also, he doesn't necessarily vibe with outgoing people.

They're loud, unpredictable, and too happy.

Don't they know the dangers of the world?

He is slightly more okay with an outgoing S/O, but that's mostly because he's going to be a lil protective of your outgoing and bubbly nature.

No one is allowed to shut you down and make fun of you.

Behind closed doors though?

This man is your baby. Treat him well.

He will lay his head in your lap, practically beg for you to play with his hair. Pet this mans hair. He needs it.

Physical affection is not his main love language, therefore if it's yours, you have to vocalize it.

He expresses his through acts of service. You off-handedly mention something you need done once and then boom: it's done.

Will die for your kisses.

If you are having an off day, expect to be given a glass of water and a forehead kiss.

He really loves to push your hair back and kiss your forehead when you least expect it & when you're in private. To him, it's an innocent way to say he loves you.

A/N: This is dedicated to a friend of mine who does not have Tumblr, but is the biggest Lilia simp I know. <3 (Love you Ro!) Also, Reader is in Diasomnia with Lilia in this fic.

Lilia was not a man of routine.

After his hundred years or so of living (he stopped counting after 150 if he was honest), he knew more than most that routine was the most boring way to live. What was the point of living if there wasn't spontaneity? Surprise? Exhilaration & adventure?

He had fought in wars, seen kingdoms rise and fall, helped raised a half a dozen fae & human children. Lilia would say he's lived a good life. Fulfilling, he would say.

But that's because he almost never followed routine.

Unpredictable was a trait that he prided himself on. And no one would describe him as otherwise.

Well...everyone except those in Diasomnia.

Like clockwork, every morning at precisely 7:00am, before the Diasomnia crew disbursed to attend their respective classes, the fae would get antsy. Y/N was usually down at 7:15, which is when Lilia would so happily give her a "good morning & have a good day" kiss before the pair would walk to their morning classes, not being able to be together again until lunch.

7:05.

Lilia's leg started bouncing.

He was for all intents and purposes immortal, he should've had more patience.

He tried to focus on the book he had picked up from the library yesterday. It was about dream magic, something he was hoping could help Y/N & her desire to go home. Headmaster Crowley was already researching how to get her home, but Lilia wanted to maybe influence her dreams to remind her of home. Afterall, she did complain of nightmares, and he figured what better way to fix that than to remind Y/N of a place she loves?

7:08.

Had it really only been three minutes?

Silver could tell that Lilia was starting to get anxious. A quiet laugh escaped the teenager at his adoptive father's antics.

Lilia would have to scold him for laughing at him later.

7:10.

Five minutes. He had five minutes. They felt like they would never come, like Y/N was still an eternity away.

Exasperatedly, Lilia threw his head back on the chair with a huff. Time was an illusion that was invented to torture him.

His crimson eyes stared at the doorway to Y/N's dorm, as if he could magically make her appear.

7:12.

Sebek had started the round up of the other Diasomnia first years. That was usual for Sebek, never later than 7:12 to start rounding up their dormmates.

7:14.

Any second now.

Lilia got up, brushing off his uniform. Floating, he made his way near Y/N's door.

This was their routine. He wasn't going to miss his morning kiss.

Her door started to open. Lilia immediately brightened up, a small smile appearing on his face.

"Good morning, Lilia." Y/N said, the door fully open.

7:15.

Right on time.

Interlocking his fingers with hers, he placed a small kiss on Y/N's cheek. She seemed unbothered, used to the daily affection.

"Good morning, Y/N."

Yes, Lilia was an unpredictable fae, but there were a few routines he held close to his heart.

A/N: You're my first request so you get first priority! I'm making all of these a bit small, more like a drabble just because y'all decided to really hop on my ask box and be like "GIVE US THE CONTENT-". The rest of y'all gotta wait until tomorrow. Anyways, enjoy! <3

Sebek was an orderly person, he liked to think.

His uniform was pristine, his handwriting perfected. Each grade he received was nothing less than a B. He prided himself on being organized and well put together, upholding the Diasomnia name.

Of course, that was all until they showed up.

Y/N seemed to be the opposite of everything Sebek seemed to be. Crazy, out-of-this-world, unorganized...and messy. Every other time Sebek interacted with them there seemed to be something going on! Overblots, consistently chasing Grim around, cleaning up after all the other students.

Once upon a time, Sebek supposed he might pity them. Well, if things hadn't changed.

Somehow, Y/N had gotten Sebek to open up. The pair had grown exceptionally close, with them being about the only fully human being he could tolerate being around for more than 20 minutes. That weird closeness turned into friendship, and that friendship into a relationship.

Sebek was new to relationships though.

It made things awkward.

He was never sure when was a good time to kiss Y/N, or hold their hand. Was it too much if he offered his arm to walk them down the halls to class? Was that weird?

PDA- and its place within Sebek's life as a hopeful guard & proud fae- had always been a type of unknown water that the green haired boy never attempted to venture into. The only thing Sebek did know about it was that he liked it very much behind closed doors, where no one could see how loving he was with Y/N.

It had become routine for Y/N to occasionally come to Diasomnia to hang out. Malleus had been so kind as to grant them permission! It was always Sebek's favorite part of the day- though he'd never admit it. He'd often day dream about coming back to the dorm and just simply existing with them. No overblots, no work, no studying. Just the two of them and the ability to be.

The daydreaming had seemed to be getting to Sebek harshly today. He was trying to read for his ancient curses class, but his brain was somewhere else entirely.

MWAH!

He blinked, looking up quickly at Y/N, who was sitting beside him with a grin.

His face turned red. Did they just-

MWAH!

He could feel his face becoming unbearably hot. What in the world were they doing?! They very obviously had lipstick on, and they were kissing him!

MWAHMWAHMWAHMWAHMWAH!

Kiss after kiss was planted on his face. He let out an "ack!" sound as a result of the attack.

But he couldn't help the bright smile on his face.

Yeah, Y/N had lipstick on.

Yeah, he was covered in kisses.

But there were worse messes to have to clean up, he supposed.

Y/N had always considered themselves lucky.

Well, as lucky as one could be when they get yanked from their own world, thrown into a high school full of hormonal, mentally & emotionally unstable boys, and expected to clean up and solve every mess that graced those marble halls.

But at least there was Crowley, they supposed.

Headmaster Dire Crowley had been there since day one. He was...eccentric to say the least. Though it was Y/N's opinion that just maybe his ego was a bit inflated, he really was such a good guy.

Crowley gave Y/N the Ramshackle dorm to live in while they figured out how to go home, he gave Y/N a job, provided food for them and Grim, and he even checked in on Y/N! It was so nice of him when he wasn't creepy about it.

Once a week, Crowley demanded (er- invited, as he would say) Y/N to tea. They'd talk for hours, about everything and anything. The headmaster asked some... not-so-appropriate questions occasionally. Like if Y/N had someone back home they were trying to go back to, how many relationships they had in the past, how far they had gone in a relationship, was there any family or friends that might miss them, etc. Y/N found it strange, but Crowley always said it was for the best. "The more memories you have, the easier it'll be for me to find your home. You're more connected to it the more you remember, Y/N."

And Y/N would always give him the most detailed recounts they could, believing in Crowley's explanation.

What they didn't know was that the more detail they gave-

-the more they lost that memory.

What Crowley didn't explain was that Y/N's tea was laced with a special substance. His position put him in a unique situation with access to the full potionology lab without supervision or restriction. A dash of this, a pinch of that, a small drop or two of whatever ingredient, and Dire Crowley was able to create noli me oblivisci- or the "Forget-Me-Not" potion. What a funny name for a potion who- when ingested- drained the memories of the poor person the more they thought about them. Crowley knew he was going to have to stop sometime soon. After all, he wouldn't want his dearest, darling, love & light of his life to forget him.

But that could wait.

At least until all they could remember was him.
