You sat on a large boulder sitting in the middle of a shallow brook, dipping your legs in as an attempt to try and escape the heat of the day. Even from under the shade of the willow tree from above, the heat and humidity was still oppressive. And the chirping of cicadas only underscored the fact. And sitting on the boulder just a few centimetres away was Azul, pant legs rolled up to his knees and his legs in the water as well, trying to cool off as well.

The two of you had arranged a day to hang out, since the Coral Sea isn’t really the most hospitable place for anyone without fins or gills. So Azul had agreed to set aside some time in his schedule so that he could spend some time with you, and this time there was no Grim or nosey Leech twins to interrupt you. But why, why did today have to be so insufferably hot.

“Why couldn’t we go someplace cooler,” he groaned, pushing his hair out of his face. “Somewhere with… air conditioning?” At least the water was cold, which helped break the heat a little bit. Plus the shade from the willow tree kept the harshness of the midday sun at bay.

You flicked some water at him, and chortled at the dirty look he gave you. “Just wanted to check this out, see where it led,” you say in a chipper tone. You slipped down the boulder a bit, getting further into the water. The brook was shallow, only reaching about mid-calf.

Your hand brushed against Azul’s and he could have sworn it felt like an electric shock rather than a soft caress. “It led to a tree and some rocks,” he sighed.

You hummed, splashing a bit in the water as the stark coldness of the brook was finally breaking the sticky heat. “Well I think it led to an opportunity.”

“For what?” He didn’t really want to say it, but today, other than the Sevens forsaken heat, was nice. The two of you had just walked together, and had some nice conversations that melted into each other seamlessly.

A mischievous smile spread across your face and you splashed Azul in the face. “For that,” you laugh.

Azul spat out water, and the faintest bit of ink, blue flushing his cheeks. But his brief flash of anger mixed with embarrassment of being bested faded just as quickly as it had arisen. You looked so happy, sitting in the brook with the swaying branches of willows behind you. And Azul felt a lump form in his throat. They look… ethereal.

You noticed him staring and waved a hand in front of his face. “Helloooo,” you called, “ear- erm, Twisted Wonderland to Azul? You good?”

“YES,” he sputtered, getting up from the boulder and trying to get back to the banks of the brook. “I am perfectly fine, Prefect!” But the slight crack in his voice betrayed him. He was very much not okay, no. Why did he feel like there were butterflies in his stomach? Why did he feel weird around you? Why do you make me feel like this? Like a fish out of water?

You got up and followed him, a few paces behind. “I can tell when you’re lying, you know? Come on Azul, be honest with me. We’re friends after all.”

We’re friends after all. That line, why did it hurt so much? “I’m not lying,” he could feel you behind him, but he dared not to look back.

“Now you’re just lying to yourself,” you huff. “Come on, Azul, just say it.”

“Say what?!” He turned around and looked at you. The dappled light, and glittering water behind you only made the lump in his throat grow even more. “That I love you-” He snapped his mouth shut and held his breath.

That I love you. That’s what the feeling was. Love.

Your eyes widened, and you opened and closed your mouth, trying to decide what to say. “Well,” you say softly, “I love you too, Azul. I have for a while now.”

And who would have guessed that seeing where the brook led would lead to this. Two friends confessing that there was indeed something more between them.

Ty~* Character analysis time cause I’m a simp:  I think that Kalim is mature just putting on a happy face. This boy has been KIDNAPPED AND POISONED MULTIPLE TIMES, you aint telling me theres no trauma. I used to find him suspicious until chap.5 where he lectured Vil, it didn't feel like he was hiding anything to me in that moment. He showed his mature side to him and Kalim's happy go lucky thing didn't seem like a cover up for something evil. I feel like it's just his personality to act naive and such like that. He also has many other siblings so it makes sense that he's like that, he is the strong shoulder for them too. Also another point is is that he's based off the sultan, while twst aint 100% accurate twst is very similar. The sultan has shown frustration and such but is not evil. Same could be for Kalim as he is based off of him. Idk maybe im biased but it feels nice to let out my personal thoughts, feel free to share yours!

A Gaggle of Children

Oh god, it was like an infestation. Everywhere they looked there was a child. Like a colony of roaches. And they were all collectively calling them (parental term)!? What the hell was going on. A tug on their pants brought them out of their thoughts. “Eomma? Where’s Appa?” There was no mistaking that silver hair. If the octopus plushy wasn’t a giveaway then cowlick and beauty mark was. The child was quickly shoved out of the way by a loud green haired punk (affectionate). “MOTHER! WHERE IS WAKA-SAMA!” Seems this little bugger has it in his genes to be a Malleus stan. The silver haired baby let out an oof at the push before glaring at the boy. A guttural war cry rang through the air before the octomer (currently a human baby) swung her plush like a battle axe and knocked the green punk over. Two little lion cubs see what’s going on and jumped right in on what they saw as play fighting. Poor mc was just on their way to make a bunch of dumb name tags with ADeuce and make everyone wear them. Mc quickly separated the children and chided them for trying to beat the ever loving shit out of each other. “Hey hey hey! Don’t hit each other! That’s not nice!” The children quickly separated, looking guilty and taking the scolding from their (parental term). Mc sighed “Listen, uhhhh…” they looked at the green haired boy, not knowing what his name was. He quickly caught on and said shouted his name. “MY NAME IS ANYANG MOTHER!” Geez this kid was loud. They cleared their throat “Of course. Now, Anyang, you can’t just push people out of the way for no reason. That’s very rude and you might hurt them.” Unexpectedly, the boy took it in stride as if he were given a command as a knight. Mc then turned to the little octomer who’s eyes were brimming with tears as she squeezed the life out of her plush. “Eomma! You said you would stop joking about this! My name is Mun-Eoui!” It took everything in Mc to not cackle. Who the fuck names their child octopus? (Mc has yet to realize that it was them). They shook there head in disappointment. “Eoui, you can’t just battle ram people, that’s mean.” The little one pouted and looked at the floor grumbling. Now the lion cubs, one of them was snickering at the two children being chided by their mother whilst the other looked smug. However, whatever smugness they had was quickly dropped as they were the last ones scolded. After they wrangled in the little ones, they got a bright idea. ‘You have the supplies, give them name tags!’ And thus, a line of children began to congregate. All of them proudly showing off their name tags to each other and bragging about it. A small tug on their pant leg caught there attention before a small voice asked, “Bibi, can you pick me up?” How could mc say no to those big eyes and little hyena ears. Oh sweet little Kamari. Mc complied, picking up the small boy and placing him on their hip. At first, it was only a few other children who noticed and asked to be picked up too. And then it was half, then three quarters of the group, then all. Oh my god there are a bunch of tiny voices now arguing about who their parental figure should be holding. Quickly mc whipped out their phone, trying to text the first year group chat but ended up absolutely FUMBLING and ended up texting the dorm leader group chat (which Malleus was not invited to but Lilia was). The text they sent? Oh yeah! ‘Heob me im goibg to die’ they meant to put cry but oh well. Close enough. And then their phone began blowing up, not that they could see this since the object has long been knocked out of their hand as toddlers climbed up their body like they were on Mount Everest. And wow, Mc was so incredibly impressed. How the hell does Vil sprint in those stilettos? Oh? And is that Idia Shroud actually running? Wait why does he have a bat? And- OH GOD! RIDDLE LOOKS LIKE HE’S ABOUT TO GO INTO CARDIAC ARREST! Why the fuck was everyone here, Mc SWORE they only texted their little first year group. Speaking of first years, was that Sebek that just screamed bloody murder?

i really love the way they draw her bangs when she's transformed...the lineart is so like. intentional but it has so much weight to it. that makes no sense to anybody but me i know but LKAJSDHFLKAJSDFH i won't post all the art i used as inspiration and reference because some of it is fanart and also there was a Lot of it but one of the best tips i can give any artist out there is to save all the art you like into like a special folder or something so you can look at it and study it later! you never know whats gonna Get you so save it!! make a tag for it on your blog have a folder on your computer or your phone print it out even!

but anyways epel i think is the best drawing out of the three of them- for rook i was under the assumption that i would be redoing the lineart for him (i didn't aksdljffhalshdf) so its not as clean and isn't really in the same style as the other two, vil i just really struggled with for some reason- for some reason his mouth and his proportions just wouldn't come out right- but epel is where i hit my stride and i really like what i did for him!

I’ve got a fluff/angst headcanon in mind: The dorm leaders’ (including Jamil’s) fem! s/o suddenly wakes up screaming in the middle of the night because of a traumatic nightmare of them Overblotting. As she wakes up, she tearfully tells them she’s scared of losing them a second time. How do they comfort her? Please and thanks!

Since we haven't gotten a canon overblot for Idia or Malleus yet (CHAPTER 6 SPOILERS especially since Idia look like his might be a fusion with his brother if not just. Ortho.) I'm gonna be leaving them off of this

Riddle Rosehearts: -Riddle has his own nightmares about the Overblot. He's a person who values control so so aggressively, and in that moment he almost lost it enough to destroy everything he holds dear. Including you. Its not uncommon for him to wake up with his own cold sweats.

-His solution is, once you're past blind panic, to get some tea for the both of you and talk it over. Riddle always handles you gently, is always so careful of your emotions that at times its like he's afraid you'll shatter to pieces. At times like this, though, its a blessing.

-(If things are really bad: playing with the hedgehogs always makes him feel calm. He is not above breaking the rules to bring them into bed for a little while)

-He'll apologize as many times as you can bear to hear (and even a few times you can't), but most of all he wants to reassure you that he's not the person who went that berserk. He's learning how to rely on others. While he has you, has Trey, has Cater and Ace and Deuce and all the rest. He has the support he needs to keep from slipping again.

-He doesn't begrudge you the time you need to feel safe, and is here to walk you through it for as long as it takes. Its the least he can do.

"There's never been a darker moment in my entire life, and I can't express enough remorse that this was how you had to see me. But you were my light even then, and continue to be. Believe in me the way I believe in you, and I promise those fears will someday disappear."

Leona Kingscholar: -Leona's way of coping with the Overblot. Is to functionally pretend it never happened.

-Not to say he doesn't have regrets. He does, especially towards you and Ruggie. It was one of his lowest moments and he's not proud of how he treated anyone involved just to protect his damn ego. But he's the kind of guy who wants to show you who he is, not tell you. You find the apologies in the day to day actions, in the little ways he looks out for you and puts in the effort to do better, to distance himself more and more from the guy who did that.

-All this to say, when you wake him up screaming, he's pissed for reasons that have nothing to do with his sleeping hours being interrupted. Teeth-grinding furious at himself, at Crowley, at Falena, at everything that has the slightest bit to do with why you're covered in sweat and bawling like a wounded cub.

-His instinct is to pin you down, hold you under himself until you're calm enough to absorb what he says. Head tucked into his shoulder as he hushes you, and an unusually gentle hand carding through your hair while he mumbles for you to breath.

-He's not a guy for promises. Too much in life is uncertain. But when you've managed to relax a little, he can't stop himself from making a few. The King of Beasts was known for his tenacity, for his refusal to turn back in the face of adversity. In this case, he'll make sure he carries that legacy with everything he's got in him.

"Counting me out already, herbivore? Rookie mistake. You're not gettin rid of me that easy. So get some sleep, alright? I'm never gonna let that happen. To you or to me."

Azul Ashengrotto: -Azul was so far down the barrel of an honest to god nervous breakdown during his Overblot that he's managed to block most of his memories of the event. The tweels are more than happy to regale him with the gory details, mortifyingly enough, but other than a lingering sense of panic he doesn't have much to emotionally attach to the memory.

Jamil Viper: -Jamil has. A lot of unaddressed issues around his Overblot. Its been better for him to have everything out in the open. There's a catharsis in feeling like he can speak his mind to Kalim, in cutting himself free from the expectations of his parents to excel where he can. And yet the thing that nags at him is that the material conditions haven't changed. His family is still in servitude. He will still have to wrestle with Kalim's position over him, maybe even for the rest of his life.

-All this to say that there's a lot of resentment that surges up in him when he's reminded.

-His focus remains on calming you, holding you close and stroking your head as he hushes you. His body rocks in time with yours, and the smell of him is incredibly calming.

-Though not everything has been fixed, he tells you he has no interest in returning to that state again. Not knowing how deeply it hurt you, not knowing what he almost lost. He's learned taking steps like that don't solve anything, they just drive the people that do care away from you.

-He is happy, truly happy, by your side. And that is never something he takes lightly.

"Treasure like yourself are too rare to squander, and I am too conscious of their value to give them up lightly. I've made you doubt so much. But never doubt my love for you, or how far I will go to make sure it stays secure."

Vil Schoenheit: Like Azul, the primary emotion Vil feels regarding his Overblot is largely embarrassment. Such an amateur move, to allow himself to be overcome like that, and its only made more humiliating by having the one he values so dearly see him at his worst.

-Still, though, he understands immediately where the fear stems from. He is still, at the end of the day, himself. He's still far too driven for his own good, still prone to fixate on his own ideals of perfection. With that in mind, its only natural that you would worry.

-Vil relaxes best in a luxurious bath, and if you're interested he's happy to draw one up for the both of you. Never one to skip out on the luxuries, he somehow manages to find rose petals and candles at this time of night. Despite your earlier fears its hard to feel too nervous submerged in warm water and watching his beautiful face reflect the glow of the firelight.

-He waits till you're both in the bath to talk it over. He's quite calm throughout, helping you identify the root of the fear and follow it until its logical conclusion, while prompting you here and there to ask if there's something he can do currently to set your mind at ease.

-Mostly, though, he's content to spoil you for the evening, gentle attention paid to your skin, your face, everything about you is doted on and cared for with practiced grace. He goes on until you're so relaxed that he has to scold you about not falling asleep in the tub.

-Wrapped back in fresh pajamas and ready for bed, he murmurs one final assurance while your consciousness holds on.

"I've been too careless with your heart before, and I don't make the same mistake twice. I may not deserve it. But for the love you have for me, trust me to do better. And sleep well."

I love your idea about EP 2. It sounds more better than the actual EP. Honestly Im disappointed of how Leona wasnt given his villain moment like Scar does. But I was even more disappointed that they made him more of a iredeemable person until EP 6. They couldve shown his more soft side like they did in his Bday.

Wow, I’m talking about Leona a lot lately 🦁 This is going to get lengthy, so look below the cut for my thoughts on Leona’s development chapters 3-5!

I definitely think that Leona’s Overblot seemed less... impactful (?) since Yuu and co. never got to directly interact with him much that chapter. It’s certainly weird to think about when they frequently ran into Riddle the last chapter. (It was also kind of sad that when we did get to see Leona interact with Yuu and co., he was just bullying them in Magift which seems petty in comparison to like... say, Azul, who although we didn’t interact with a lot, still got his important moments like protecting his contracts).

However! I don’t think that chapters 3, 4, and 5 left Leona “irredeemable”. Twisted Wonderland really plays with the concept of morality, what’s right and what’s wrong. To that end, many of the characters depicted are very morally grey. Yes, they do bad things, but they come from less than ideal circumstances and don’t know how to deal with their emotional turmoil and trauma. Each chapter’s ending isn’t a happily ever after—there’s loose ends, broken relationships, confused boys trying to get it back together. We see some of them try to work on themselves (Riddle and his temper, for example), others are still a slow work in progress (Kalim and Jamil mending their relationship), and as far as I can recall, Vil is the only one who apologizes for OBing because he already has a sense of maturity. For someone as stubborn as Leona, he seems very resistant to change, so I’m not surprised if he still comes across as no different than his initial introduction in chapter 2.

Rather than “irredeemable”, I think it would be more fair to say Leona is “stagnant”. And personally? I think the stagnation fits for his character! He’s lived his whole life with the mindset that others loathe him and that he will never succeed. He’s someone that is always fixated on the past, so of course improving himself (which takes time and effort) is difficult for him.

Another point I’d like to make is that while sure, it would be nice to see Leona’s softer side in the main story, it wouldn’t make much sense. Leona is never shown to be canonically close to Yuu and co. the same way that Grim, Ace, and Deuce are, and he has no reason to be nice to them. He helps them out in chapter 3, yeah, but he had a self-serving motivation behind it. Chapter 4 he wasn’t really around because he wasn’t relevant to the Scarabia arc, and chapter 5, we see him focusing on putting together the VDC venue. What reason does Leona have to be nice in these instances? I don’t think there really is one. (He is only “soft” to be polite to the birthday interviewer.)

I think if you read closely, you can see hints at Leona changing. He’s still pretty selfish in 3, but ultimately he DID choose to help Yuu and co. (just with his own motivation). In chapter 4, Leona is willingly returning home to the Afterglow Savanna for the holidays. In 5, Leona’s actively working WITH his team members on a project rather than leading them/sitting around and bossing them around like in the original chapter 2. He may not be perfect, but I feel like Leona is definitely taking those baby steps.

We should also consider that just because the game doesn’t show us Leona explicitly learning or being more kind, it doesn’t mean he hasn’t been doing so off-screen. A character can develop without us seeing it just as much as they can develop when we do see it. It wouldn’t make sense for the story to cut away from Yuu and co. to show Leona being “nicer” to Savanaclaw or other students either, as that would disrupt the focus on Octavinelle, Scarabia, and Pomefiore in their respective chapters.

The closest thing we get to “checking in” on characters post-OB is their cameos in other chapters where they’re just going about their normal school lives (like the booths in chapter 5 or the kidnappings of chapter 6). These are the moments you have to look at to see changes in behavior, subtle or not. Not every boy will announce that they’re going to confront a problematic figure in their life (like Riddle did in chapter 4, and I would argue that’s because Yuu is “closest” with Heartslabyul).

Leona never overstays his welcome, and he doesn’t have it in him to put on airs and be sweet to others. He’s still his arrogant and lazy self in chapters 3-5.

We don’t really get to see if he has changed significantly or not in these chapters because it is not that relevant to the stories being told. However, it does become relevant in chapter 6 because well, someone needs to explain what/who STYX is and establish what will happen while the Dorm Leaders have been kidnapped (aka hand power to Vice Dorm Leaders). It serves a clear purpose in the plot and it shows us that Leona has qualities of a good leader. He knows when he should surrender, and to leave his “people” in good hands while he is absent.

Again, I don’t think it’s Leona being irredeemable in chapters 3-5, but rather slow to change and still being unwilling to fully open up and trust others. There’s also the possibility of off screen development that we, the player, never see. I think he’s getting there, though (given all the subtle indicators)! Chapter 6 was a small glimpse into Leona’s full potential~

Happy Birthday!

 Neely: *yawns* Ah, thank you kindly. I keep hearing that today.

Oh the party just got started and you seem tired already?

Neely: I am usually tired all day. It's just a me thing. Pay it no mind. I'm getting sleepy thinking about it now too.

I see then let's…wait quick question why are we in the Octavinelle area? Aren't you a Pomefiore student?

Neely: Yes I am but I am also a mer so I tend to be here as well as my own dorm. I was originally going to be an Octavinelle student as the mirror said so but the headmage overruled it's choice. I don't mind, I like both dorms.

I hear this is your 1st year on the surface. How has the experience been?

Neely: oh quite interesting…I am still not great at walking on legs. The rules of the surface are also so strange but Rook tells me it's to keep structure and so everything has a place. So odd compared to where I'm from. I adore the clothing and music of the surface a lot, not so much the food. Why cook fish when raw fleeing fish is better? I will never understand.

Can you talk more about your mer side?

Neely: I rather not..I'm sorry I'd not like the students to read more weird things about me then they already think of me.

Ah sorry understandable…what do you do for a living outside of college?

Neely: I am an opera singer in a sea musical theater group. Im taking a break to focus on education both practical and musical. Is why I came to the surface to learn more than what I could learn under the sea. I'm also a composer by request. I write songs for anyone if they need a song for a project,a video game they are making,etc. Music work in general.

Speaking of music, what is your favorite genre of music?

Neely: All! I know a bland response but I truly do love all music. Music holds a power beyond magic that touches people's hearts. I want to bring joy to hearts so that is why I make music and sing it. Wish I could dance to it but since I'm bad on my legs I can't dance so well.

By the way, your hair and makeup look so beautiful.

Neely: Yes, Vil-sama did this to me. It took hours and I kept falling asleep but he wouldn't let me sleep for long. My hair is quite a hassle. I tend to smack others with it if I don't tame it right. I learned a bit on how to take care of it as Vil talked about hair care amidst me falling asleep. I asked him if he could put pink eyeshadow on me as it's my favorite color. He told me he would be more than happy to make me pretty. He is so nice to me.

That is so sweet you seem to really respect him.

Neely: Yes I do very much. I am so new to this world that I thought what is normal is all there is. It's already known I wear clothing that's labeled for the gender my human form is not. I feel comfortable in it when most surface clothing feels icky to me. The P.E. uniform feels so awful to wear so I wear my comfortable feminine sports attire with the uniform tied on me. I got laughed at so badly I didn't participate that day but Vil heard what happened and came to my P.E. class and let the others have it. I was so shocked he defended me. I truly do respect him and learn alot from him.

Oh wow that's amazing he cares for your well-being greatly as any housewarden would. Will he be here later at your party?

Neely: I don't think so. He said he would be busy after he finished my hair but that's ok he spent time with me already. That's enough for a birthday gift from a friend.

I see, is there someone else you're hoping to spend time with for your birthday?

Neely: Wiggl..err I mean Floyd. He said we could go out to sea tonight and night hunt for sand dollars as he knows their my favorite seashell. I have adored the lil pattern on them since I was a child.

Neely: Yuu I am getting pretty sleepy can I go take a nap before they bring out the cake?

Riddle Rosehearts

Well, he'll aprove, but begrudgingly.

You see, there's nothing wrong with Riddle really. He's very capable, hardworking, and probably the only person in the school who can keep up with Vil regarding etiquette. He's objectively the sort of guy Vil would want his dear sister to date.

He just... doesn't like Riddle much. While they share many principles, Vil finds his attitude just jarring. Sure, rules are important, but what about the results? Do they not matter as long as you've been following the rules? It's that sort of mentaility that bothers him a bit.

He's willing to give Riddle a chance, but the first time he comes over is painfully awkward. Vil really isn't feeling like he's the best you can do, Riddle is just trying his very best to be proper, and the air itself is tense.

Probably will ask you, at one point, what exactly you see on him. He won't be very happy about your relationship unless he understands that you're happy yourself, and why that happens.

The tendency is for things to improve though. While Vil acts coldly towards your boyfriend for a while, he'll eventually understand that there's really nothing wrong with Riddle, and be able to relax about it.

Silver

Initially wary. Silver? A Diasomnia student? He knows not all of them are intimidating people, but that tendency isn't something to be ignored.

He also doesn't know much about him, so you can expect Vil to be very vigilant of your relationship, at least for a while.

Won't hold back his strictness when you introduce Silver to him. He'll be watching like a hawk as you three eat together for the first time, picking apart every little manneirism of his with his eyes. It'll be a long dinner.

As soon as Silver leaves, he's complaining about how laid back he was. That couldn't be good, it might not seem like a red flag now, but he could turn out to be lazy in the future, he'll warn you.

Honestly? Vil will probably never really like him much. He'll learn that Silver is... okay, but he just thinks you deserve so much better.

He doesn't watch over you two a lot, but you bet he won't be very happy to see your bedroom door closed when he comes over. Imagine his surprise when he sees him passed out on your bed though.

Malleus Draconia

Vil's jaw drops the second you break the news. You and Malleus Draconia? That Malleus Draconia?

He's not really scared of Malleus himself, but... how did you even get close to him, close enough to date him too? He genuinely thought Malleus would die single because of how unapproachable he was--

When the shock is gone, though, he's proud. To think a future king would fall for his little sister... he's impressed at you, knowing something like this is exactly what you deserve.

He treats Malleus as he usually does when he's over. Polite despite keeping his distance, but also a bit curious as to what sort of person he really is, now.

But while he's open to letting Malleus into your lives, he's also careful about it, being sure to tell you to do the same. Who knows what goes on in the fae's head, he's not one of the most powerful wizards in the world for nothing...

Anyway, I hope you enjoy!! I also tried to do headcanons but they ended up more drabble sounding so I hope you don't mind!!

You had planned it with the rest of the Heartslabyul boys, to have your kids with Riddle. What you didn't realize was that the boys had their own plan.

As soon as you found yourself under that mistletoe with the red head, you felt embarrassed and wanted to back out. But the others weren't let it happen.

Before you had the chance to run away you felt a small gust of wind push you towards the male, leaving your lips to be pressed against one another.

As you pull away both of your faces explode in red, feeling nothing but embarrassment. Especially with the rest of the dorm hooting and hollering at you two.

Riddle would be too flustered to even say anything to you, instead immediately yelling at the dorm. But they all knew he doesn't mean any of his threats, especially since it's so close to the holidays.

This wasn't planned by you, but instead it was Rook. For who else would want to see Roi Des Poison and his s/o share a romantic kiss under a mistletoe?

So he was there when he spots you two walking under one, going on about how the traditions go. Vil only rolled his eyes, already seeing the hunter's plan.

You on the other hand were red in the face, realizing what this means. You shyly looked at him, seeing what his reaction was. Making you more nervous.

But in a quick gain of confidence, you nudged Vil and quickly pressed your lips against his. Which certainly surprised both males, but it did bring Rook amusement.

After pulling away is when Vil starts to slightly scold you, having almost wrinkled his clothes with your sudden movements. But be quickly smiles and gives you a kiss on your forehead, wishing you happy holidays. Meanwhile Rook is taking photos cause he ships it.

You think only Lilia planned this? Well you thought right, cause he just wants to see Malleus have a nice moment with his s/o.

So of course he was there when he caught you both under the plant. With lots of his usual teasing and chuckles.

And Malleus, while being every a gentleman, still has his own teasing side. So when Lilia tells you two about the mistletoe above you, a small smile spreads on his lips.

But what he didn't expect was for you to kiss him before he had a chance to kiss you, bringing a very surprised face with the smallest of a flush.

But soon he'll go back to smiling, knowing he can have his own fun by surprising you with his own kisses until the end of the month.

BNHA Headcanons once more

Villain Izy is amazing, delicious food to me. Love the complexity and the way I can make him utterly twisted in a severe way. However, I know it’s plausible for Bak to be the root of his hate... but I may have something else be the main source and leave him as collateral damage. Shouldn’t he hate the society he lives in? Wouldn’t he go bigger, broader? Forget Bak and his childish behavior. Where did he learn all of that from? What was the root of the discrimination? The societal set standard for acceptability? Yeah, sure, Bak was an asshole and out of line— but oh please, if you think Izy wouldn’t logically think bigger in his revenge. The discrimination comes from the messed up society and you better believe he is coming for it. It’s crooked out look on people’s worth based upon whether they posses a quirk or not. It’s idiotic, horrific. Personally, if I happened to be in their universe? I’d be a villain. No hero, no hero loving civilian or a vigilante. Hell no, I’d be a villain and fighting the system.

I personally like black Mina, blasain Deku, Latino Sero, Samoan Kirishima and people also have mentioned Latino/light skinned Bakugo which I don’t mind or see the fault in either

For Shigarakis birthday, everyone got together and made him hand shaped soaps. He opened the box, peered inside to see a bunch of different colored hand shaped soaps and glared at them all. Of course Shig uses them, but the thought was annoying yet thoughtful.

Personally I have many ships and groups I am behind. With that said, they have been given names (only a few so far since I’m focusing on the ones I have been/will be posting about the most). They range from friendship to actual ship which will be noted as ‘f’ and ‘s’..... Wonder Trio©️ (Bak, Kiri and Mina ~ f). Core Three©️ (Izy, Bak and Todd ~ either or). Fatal Four©️ ( todokiribakudeku ~ s). Forsaken©️ (Vil!Izuku, Dabi, Shigs ~ f).

Let’s get some normal teenage HCs going..... Kirishima, Bakugo, Izy and Ochaco have stretch marks... Kirishima has them from his quirk— it’s sudden development of unbreakable, Izuku from his intense fast growth for the quirk, and Bakugo as well..... For her quirk, Momo would need to store more energy which means she would be chubbier and that’s closer to canon in the manga (Ochaco is also not super thin like they showed in the manga).

Todoroki doesn’t wake up until the afternoon on some days, same can be said for half the others.

Kaminari moans in the back of class

Sero doesn’t talk much, he is more laid back. So I believe he’d walk behind the Bakusquad or in the grass.

When the Bakusquad goes out, Bakugo hangs towards the front. He says it’s because he doesn’t want to be near them, but in reality he wants to keep a lookout for any danger and protect them all first. It also is because of the LOV incident.

Kirishima notices that, how he is constantly looking around and staring after certain lingering figures until they check out as unthreatening. Kirishima would be the one to look out for Bakugo, as a second pair of eyes with everyone else in on it.

Also along these lines^ Bakugo likes the people he is with to be in his range of site. Same reasonings as above. Whenever they are in stores, he keeps them in his peripheral and scans for exits and entrances. Whenever someone leaves his site for a moment, he snaps at them and brings whoever wandered away back to the group. Everyone soon adapted to his constant need to check everyones position and started telling him wherever they intended to go. Mina: Hey, Im going to the shoes section. | Sero: I’m going with Kaminari to the games

Bakugo doesn’t like people behind him.. once again, same as above^ so I believe Kirishima would ease Bakugo’s nerves by touching his back as he leaves his peripheral and passes through his blind spots to ensure Bakugo is always aware of his position.

Denki is Mitsuki’s favorite. It just makes sense. He is the type to walk in and go “You have such a lovely home”, “You’re 35? Shut up, you don’t look a day over 22” “Bakugo listen to your mother”, “Let me help with the groceries”. Tell me I’m wrong. You can’t. Ugh. Also I semi ship adult Denki with Mitsuki, as well as hc him to have been crushing HARD in his teen years.

Bakugo once owned a pet fish as a kid..... never again. Never. Again.

Denki got extra time during tests because he couldn’t focus

Bakugo, Izy, Aizawa and all the class girls would liberate Eri and teach her to never take shit from men or the hero society. That she is more than a gossip topic or someone to objectify. They would create a powerful hero that knows her worth and wouldn’t take shit from anyone.

Eri makes friendships bracelets with beads for Bakugo and Izy. The three of them match. Izy wears it whenever he can along with Eri and Bakugo has it hung up on his cork board.

Eri likes to do makeovers with whoever is unlucky enough to cave. The results of your makeover usually is determined on whether she truly thinks you deserve a makeover or if she just wants to mess your face up. For instance, Izy got a really nice face of makeup with complimenting colors. Meanwhile, Bakugo looked like a circus clown with lipstick in his eye and eyeshadow smeared across his forehead.

Todoroki has no filter. Everyone says it’s because he doesn’t understand social queues (cues?) — they are right... but that’s not the point. The point is Todoroki will say the most out of pocket things without taking a second to question whether it’s a good idea. Everyone had parent day at school and all the parents showed up to get a tour and shadow training. On first sight of seeing Bakugo’s mom, Todoroki just deadpans “milf.” And continues to blank stare like nothing.

Uraraka absolutely decks Bakugo in the face the first time they actually spar together. He isnt one to make it an uneven fight but she proposed the deal of “if I can land one good punch then you’re sparring partner for the week”. Bakugo doubted it would be that good, he’s been hit by Kirishima and Izuku for fucks sake but.. hey a challenge is a challenge. So he hangs his arms by his side and smirks cockily while saying “sure, give me a little love tap or whatever—.” And gets hit so hard he spins and face plants on the floor then doesn’t get up for a few minutes. Everyone collectively gasped then broke into laughter. And yes Izuku recorded it then posted the video everywhere

Why is he hiding? He could just walk up to her and greet her, it's not that hard. He thought. But His damn pride can't help but make him look at her from a distance.

Her voice is so soothing, listening to her sing is probably his dream too, he could just stand there and hear her sing the whole day...

He turned his head back to the front where he was standing and thought for a while, maybe he should just walk up to her?

It's not that hard Riddle! Relax.. the queen's of heart will never be too scared to walk up to her beloved!

With all his might, he pick up the courage to walk in the direction of melanie.

"Y-your voice is very nice.."

Baka Riddle! What kind of compliment is that? Scolding himself in his thoughts, he fully regretted what he just said.

Suddenly, as Melanie finished a line , she heard Leona's voice echoed in the room.

“so many things to tell her...but how to make her see... "

Then he stopped. The whole room is filled with silence until Melanie laughed as she stated:

"Why wouldn't you continue the next line?"

Leona let out a 'tch' as he said that it's embarrassing.

With Melanie's soft laughing noises. Leona fell asleep . For real this time though. Kinda wondering how he could do that.

🥀 Azul Ashrengrotto 🥀

After his tiring work of signing contracts from people, Azul is exhausted. He is now looking for Melanie for someone to brag about his day.

Just as he stepped in the study room Melanie would always been, he heard her singing ... He recognised this song! It's a love song from a certain video game!

Such a nice voice... He couldn't help but claps his hand as he walks in the room . Melanie stops singing cause she got startled as he walks in but then she starts smiling after seeing Azul.

"oh- don't mind me, continue singing!"

Azul said with a smile on his face , Melanie then shaked her head as she continues singing.

"Shalalalalala My oh My! Looks like the girls to shy to go and-"

"kiss the girl!"

They sang together afterwards and Melanie also stopped doing her homework as they got hyped up and pretended that they are having a concert.

When they finished the song they laughed at their actions at the same time.

"That was fun, but you should finish your work ,my dea-"

Azul quickly stopped his sentence and awkwardly leave the room after excusing himself.

"whoosh.. that was close..."

Kalim is looking for Melanie to share his bento with her, but he couldn't find her anywhere!

Right! Melanie would always do her homework at this time, and she would sing!!

He pressed his ear to the wall, trying to hear where Melanie was. Yep, nothing. He can hear nothing.

Kalim is not afraid though! Cause he know what he could do to find Melanie.

He Take a deep breath and starts singing:

" I can show you the world! Shining, shimmering,splendid! Tell me princess,how long have you let your heart decide?"

Not caring the other students weird look on him , he only wish for her princess to come out.

"Oh ,Kalim! You shouldn't sing right here.. well I couldn't stop could I? Sigh...

A whole new world! A new fantastic point of view!"

Melanie sighed and sang along with Kalim as they started singing together in the middle of a corridor

There's a rumor that they finished the song in the middle of the corridor and a lot of students are listening to them too...

Vil sighed as he stood at his room waiting for Melanie to show up. He then decided to go look for her .

He was walking along the corridor, walking by each and every classroom, hold up- is there's a singing voice he heard? out of curiosity, he walked towards the class and saw his potato cleaning the ground while singing...

"I'm wishing~ For the one I love... To find me~today..."

There's birds standing on the opened-window listening to Melanie singing... Just like a princess, Vil thought...

Vil smiled as he thought that he would also play along as well, he then walk towards her while she was changing the water in the bucket.

"One song~ I have but one song.. One song... For you~"

Vil sang while Melanie got startled for a second.

"Vil-senpai... You startled me hehe"

Melanie grinned as she look at Vil holding a mop.

"you little potato! You totally forget about today's skin care lesson don't you?!"

Vil scolded Melanie as he flicked his finger on her forehead. Melanie let out a hiss and laughed at her own clumsiness.

Idia had to meet up with Melanie today to share their anime merch , and Idia had to look for her.

Sighed, he grunted why wouldn't Melanie told him where would she be in the first place . Holding his bag full of anime merch, he went looking for Melanie.

Idia then walk around the campus them he saw Melanie sitting on a bench beside the garden, reading a book and. A bag right beside her. He assumed that its anime merch as well.

But Idia's thought told him t o hide and here he is , hiding behind a pillar.

Suddenly, Melanie started singing....

"No chance- No way I won't say.. I don't know~"

Hold up- isn't this the Disney movie soundtrack..what is it called again.. Right! Herculon!

Listening to her singing,Idia feel quite soothing as he lay on the pillar he is hiding behind, continue listening Melanie singing.

But then he heard the closing book noise and immediately walk out handing the anime merch to Melanie and muttered that she should've told him where would she be next time.

Melanie couldn't sleep this day, and she decided to go roam around the ramshackle dorm.

Looking around ,there's lots of birds and owls, they started.. whistling? Yes, that's right...

Melanie then sank in thought for a while when she starting humming..

She never knew that a certain someone is hiding somewhere, somewhat listening to her hums

Malleus was behind the bushes, looking at his little prefect tenderly.

Then Melanie starts singing softly while feeding the birds

"I wonder.. I wonder.. I wonder why each little bird had someone to sing to sweet things to a gay little love bird melody..?"

Surprised by her singing voice, Malleus couldn't help but laughed softly, that's right.. his child of man is indeed very princess-like.

He then slowly walk towards Melanie as he stood right behind him.

"Such a good voice, child of man "

Melanie laughed as she told Malleus she actually knew he's here the entire time.

"you always brings me some unexpected events, child of man"

He stated that with a grin, then they both starting humming together through the night..🥀

me rambling abt twst ch 6 which r also additional thoughts to miss raven's thought dump post that i couldn't fit in tags anymore bc i hit limit and i realize im ashamed to let them know my delusional thoughts anyway sO

i was too distracted by the wholesomeness of nrc tribe n them giving money to yuu but i pretty much replayed (some of) ch 5 bc i realized i haven't cleared it all in game and i. had to do that to get to ch 6 TT

i reread some parts esp ones after vil's blot

miss raven's observation on grimm's hit on yuu not having much impact is spot on tbh

u would think yuu got knocked unconscious or got ko'd in one hit so like wdym yuu is Fine and was able to get home w a measly cat scratch and was able to call adeuce .

i was actually rlly surprised by that part bc i rlly thought yuu got knocked out given how ch 5 presented it

anyway super curious abt the whole thing abt styx and the shrouds :0!!

and i think twst rlly did a nice job getting the feel for styx' purpose and how they get the magicians who blotted, w how its like in the original?

me going off of a wiki page bc i know very little abt greek mythology But

u never really expect death do u,, it comes suddenly or you have been waiting for it to get u but still u dont know When

in mythology, charon is a ferryman that transports the newly deceased souls down the styx, a river that acts as a boundary between the earth n the underworld and it is said that the further down they go, the worse the punishment is

it's apparently also the 5th circle of hell where the wrathful all fight each other or drown in the river forever

twst managed to tie it well to its own universe bc . in overblots, the magicians are usually very aggressive and were actively Trying To Kill Us, going off of their hurt and being blinded by their rage, their wrath to stop us from stopping them

fast forward to ch6. instead of. literal death. its replaced w overblot instead. (death after all, does not always mean literal physical death, but can also mean an end to something, letting go,change. at least according to tarot cards amd astrology. blotting certainly caused a huge change for our students, and allowed them to let go of what hurt them.)

anyway so now they're "dead" and r now being collected by ferrymen down to styx. where they wait for their punishment for acting out against fellow students, endangering not only their own lives but others too

there's also leona saying that he read somewhere that those who r taken to the isle of lamentation never return so i guess thats much like. actual dying

in other versions of the story, styx also had "miraculous powers" and made anyone who bathed in them invulnerable. i speculated earlier while reading that this version is what inspired the seemingly invincible robots? given that they have magic nullifying plates which allowed them to not get hurt by any of the dorm leaders' magic. but that could also just be me reaching and they could just be really well prepared, specially made, robots lol

anyway ummm thats it. rn. my twt reaction thread is probably a lot more interesting than what this was djhfdjb,, maybe ill add more later when my brain returns or smth

Rook Headcanons

(Really wish I could understand what he’s saying while in the home menu, I’m sure it’ll get translated later)

- After reading the “Leona’s weakness” personal chapter and finding out he’s a member of the science club, I’m absolutely certain that he keeps a list of lethal substances! This isn’t an entirely new headcanon considering there was a similar one in the academic headcanons, but the new info just added so much more potential to expand on it! ☺️ He probably has them written down on the spare page of a textbook.

- Also has an ongoing list of everyone’s weaknesses for future reference. Still missing Malleus’s and Leona’s data.

- Like Leona and Ruggie, Rook is from Afterglow’s Savannah..but he’s the only one who uses French expressions in everyday conversations. There’s three reasons this could be. #1. Rook comes from a different part of the country where colonization took place (like the northwest portion of Africa which was colonized by the French, go figure). #2. His family is originally from another country where French was the dominant language, thus he could be bilingual. #3. He’s a drama kid who wanted to stand out during his first year at NRC so he decided to use French in everyday language and it just stuck. I’m in favor of the last explanation.

- His VA can sing and Rook enjoys the theater, you better bet he knows a few musical numbers off the top of his head! He’ll break out in song at the drop of a hat! It gets on Vil’s nerves, especially because the vice dorm leader is so damn good at singing!

- Has a stash of portfolios full of photos he’s taken around the school.

- Rook is awefully protective of Epel...like, might actually go after anyone who tries to touch a hair on his underclassman’ s head sort of protective. 😅

Blue x Rook Headcanons

- The guy who likes theater was able to tell this person was only pretending to be a student. Could not have planned this any better if I tried! Rook sees his game with this “fox” (as he refers to them) as a chance to hunt some truly elusive prey. He doesn’t even know how elusive it really is!

- Rook goes through just about every “reveal” spell and potion in the books with no success thus far. This is due to the streangth of the spell Blue is using.....I mean, she is a fairy with an emense amount of innate magical prowess....and he’s using high school level references. Gonna have to up his game.

- Since Blue has nothing better to do most days, she ends up hanging around with the hunter pretty often which leads to some really nice discussions between them. At some point she lets it slip that she’s not all that familiar with “common culture” (how she refers to human culture), including the performing arts. Of course our Rook can’t let an opponent/friend/whatever the hell they are go on without such crucial knowledge! Like always, Blue is happy to learn and returns the favor by giving tips on how to use higher magic (just another way of saying magic the teachers are too scared to place in the hands of students).

- Rook definitely introduces his fox to his friends early on. Floyd thinks their game sounds like a lot of fun....Vil, on the other hand, is a little concerned considering the types of magic this stranger is sharing with his friend. Then again it’s not really his problem so he’s not going to rat them out. Epel would be fine, if fox would stop gushing about how precious he is and treating him like a child all the freaking time!

- They still do the mom/dad act to Epel. This is merely fact.

- Has an unspoken agreement not to pry into one another’s personal lives unless the information is volunteered. They're both perceptive and will change the subject if it seems either of them are uncomfortable with it.

- When Rook does finally discover who his fox is he’s not prepared, like at all! He knew they had to be a powerful and somewhat experienced magic user, maybe an older student from their rival school or something; just not a fairy something. Well, not that kind of fairy anyways! Like Crowley, he also expected them to be male- not that it mattered much, it just never occurred to him to question it. And then there’s the subject of age which I’m not too sure of at the moment, bear with me please! He needs a little time to process, which Blue understands and patiently gives.
