Rules for the Wayne Galas

If I have to be there, then so do you.

You're strictly forbidden from trying to set anyone up for an arranged marriage.

Talking to the press is not allowed either.

No sneaking animals.

No Kryptonians.

Nor anyone from the Arrows.

Former villains or anti-heroes as a plus one are also not permitted (except for Selina).

Avoid the blue/red/yellow color combination.

Marxist quotes are completely forbidden.

No drink spiking.

Especially not with cheap alcohol.

Hiding in the panic room is also not permitted.

I always pictured Danny as liking galas. Not cause he enjoys the atmosphere but because he can cause subtle chaos. Then one time it’s not subtle at all.

Jack forces Danny to go events with Vlad. Danny just makes subtle remarks to Vlads peers about his bad practices.

Hinting towards how his wealth was massed odly and suddenly. Pointing out things that just went missing and suddenly one day Vlad just had. Overall each event he goes to Vlad looks worse and worse.

Danny has hinted to him being forced to be at event. That he doesn’t like being called little badger. He’s also getting the inside scope on new tech and ideas by playing dumb. Tucker is taking advantage of the inside info.

So there is a huge gala going to happen in Gotham. The masons and vlad are both going to be in attendance. Obviously this means Danny is getting forced into it same as Sam.

Now sam openly causes problems at the gala. Like standing on a table screaming about animal rights or something. She’s an activist she would so do it. Just imagine Damian joining in. He doesn’t like the galas either after all.

Both sam and danny snuck in reporters. Danny did it to ensure sam would never have to go to another gala. He could use them for his fun as well.

Dick is on a chandelier now to add more chaos. Jason is having the time of his life watching it all unfold.

So Danny just “unknowingly” talking to the reporters about vlad. He also starts talking about the masons. Vlad got distracted talking to another rich person he was planning to rob.

Tim assumes Danny doesn’t know he’s talking bad mouthing ti reporters and goes up to him. Danny is just like dude let me trash talk the fruitloop. When Tim subtle pulls him off to the side.

Danny “accidentally” reveals that vlad is trying to kill his father, marry his mom and adopt him. He is so used to people not believing him why would this rando.

So on top of making a gala a madhouse now the bats are investigating Vlad. Not that Danny realizes until the bats show up in amity.

I think so! They’re not dissimilar. However, the saving grace of most galas — cheap and boring or luxurious and fun — is the open bar.

Okay, Cass Cain head canon!

She loves getting dressed up for fancy occasions, galas, holidays, recitals. She loves looking pretty and eye catching every once and awhile. But she doesn’t wear like ridiculous dresses. She’s always in simple dark colors, no embroidery or frills, just a simple slip. But. Not black. She doesn’t wear black dresses. Think midnight blues and dark golds and emerald green. She also wears subtle makeup, powder, mascara, a lip gloss or tint. Nothing to crazy. No, what she wears to be eye catching is jewelry. She loves the sparklies! Her accent pieces twinkle across the room.

Cass spends so much of her time not being seen, never just having normal innocent fun. She didn’t play dress up with her mom’s jewelry as a kid. Selina took personal offense to that so now she does it as an adult and she loves it. Just the simple pleasure of looking pretty with no hidden agenda or mission. And it’s never like… sexy either. It’s elegant and graceful like she it. Diamonds falling like water. Cass deserves to feel pretty and sparkly!

"Y/n, Riley, come here quick I need to ask you guys something!" Shouted Ben from the other room

You sighed putting down your new book, you had recently gotten into the Percy Jackson series and you were keen on finishing the first book. You found Ben and Riley in the kitchen waiting for you.

"Ok, so remember the lecture we went to a few days ago that was given by Dr. Hank Brown?" Ben asked...huh..he was notably nervous, weird.

"Who-?" Said Riley, very confused. He hadn't gone to the lecture, claiming that the new videogame that came out was more important.

"Remember that guy we saw on the history documentary a few days ago?" You said

"Ohhhh him, yeah I remember..why?"

"Well he's hosting a gala tomorrow night in honor of his late father's birthday.." Ben said..again in a very nervous way. What is going on? He's definitely hiding something you thought.

"So..?" Riley said, confused.

"Well Abigail and I were going to it, just to see if we can get some insight on the map."

"Well that's ni-"

"But I realized she knows his daughter, and us asking about it would definitely raise some eyebrows." Ben interrupted

"Ok..again what does this have to do with us-? Not to be rude.." Said Riley

You decided to walk to the sink quickly and fill the mug on the counter with some water to drink.

"I need you two to go in our place." He said while you were drinking..resulting in you choking on the water and Riley patting your back.

"What the hell Ben?! W- Y/n and I can't go, we don't know the first thing about this guy, or who he is, or- or even about the map. How are we supposed to socialize and spark conversations with someone we know NOTHING about?!"

"Look guys I know this is short noticed but-"

"No no no this is wayyyy more than short noticed, ok Ben you're the designated guy when it comes to finding out information, Abigail is usually the one who has connections all over, Riley is the tech guy and I'm the one pays for all this crap."

You truly loved Ben with all your heart, he was your best friend after all, but this was insane..it didn't mean you wouldn't do it though.

"Guys, please he's really the only one that can tell us more about this and we'll it's now or never. You in?"

"Fine." You and Riley said simultaneously

"Great!"

**Time skip to the next night, you and Riley had found the information and you were invited to dance with another guy. You finished dancing and met up with Riley again**

"So uhm..who was that guy?" Riley asked

"Oh, his name was Mark. Apparently he works with some congressman that I suspect know a thing or two about the map. I wanted to see what I could find out."

"Oh ok..uhm I was wondering if you uhm..well I-"

"Yes?" You said smiling, sort of already knowing what he wanted to ask.

"May I have this dance?" He asked grinning nervously

"I was wondering when you'd finally ask." You laughed as he took your hand and led you to the floor.

That night ended in LOTS of hugs and cuddles 😭

The justice league only formed as Danny turned 16. Within a year of forming Danny had made a deal with the realm, accepting his fate as king upon his death, to keep ghosts out. Even getting his parents either by force or acceptance to shut down the portal.

So when Danny accompanies Sam to a gala and one of the ghost shows up. He calmly informs them that they were not welcome in this dimension. He made a deal with the king and they needed to leave before he made them.

Cue Bruce Wayne’s curiosity kicking in.

You assist to galas? That's unexpected, goes to show how truly diverse Tumblr is. The other day I found a post made by a scientist. Either way, I always get the surprised pikachu face each time I discover that someone from Tumblr is not a teenager.

I am not a teenager haha. I do occasionally attend galas, though they’re probably not as glamorous as people think. Unless they’re for very important politicians etc. Those tend to be VERY nice.

Is there an actual reason Cate Blanchett was being such an unnecessary cvnt to Margot Robbie or has she just become and old and threatened bitter actress? 😂 What a crying shame.

How unprofessional to behave that way on tv as one of “the greats”. Not showing much greatness right now to behave like that to someone just for saying they like a certain music genre or apparently anything.

Perhaps there’s not allowed to be any other Australian actresses around or something. People that behave that way and threatened all the time in the industry despite how massive they are which good catalogs are such nightmares. What a snob!

Guess her days of greatness are getting to be over if it’s that bad, at least personality wise. Honestly do they have beef or something?

Margot dealt with that unnecessary onslaught incredibly well and maturely and still went ahead and complimented Cate a bunch.

We all know that bitter type though who’s let the fame get to their head and are nasty to anyone they feel threatened by no matter how much the other compliments and hopes to mutually work together to create great things and appreciate them, I kinda just feel sorry for those people though that they’ve become that level of self hating or competitive they can’t let anyone else “be talented” simultaneously.

Cate spent most of the time just staring at her and being a total dickhead just to her. 😂

It’s sad as I liked Cate, for numerous roles she’s done over the years such as Galadriel, Hela, Granmammare, Lady Tremaine (2015), but being that way to a younger actress just complimenting her or saying she liked a type of music on TV is just, come on preservation? This girl is trying to be kind and compliment you. Never meet your idols hey? Poor Margot.
