Munch, Munch, Munch
So a lot of people like to say that Kryptonite is Ghost Rock Candy.
And a lot of people like to say that Jason Todd (AKA Red Hood) has at least some level of liminal nature, if not full on half ghost.
Therefore, Jason eats Kryptonite.
The first time it happened, Jason was feeling Hangry while in the Batcave and, in his anger, mistook some crystals sitting out as rock candy. It's only when Tim finds him right as he's finishing off the last piece that he learn that it was, in fact, not rock candy. However, Jason keeps craving it, to the point that the Bats have to keep any Kryptonite under lock and key or else Jason will instantly consume it.
Batman eventually has to figure out why his son is craving Kryptonite and if there's anything he can do to replace it because he can't keep having his son eat his contingency plans.

yandere Lex Luthor would N0T allow you to divorce him and honestly I think he would have any divorce lawyers you "secretly" speak to on the matter quietly sent away to be tested on in a laboratory somewhere or something equally horrific
you: oh, wow, Lex... you got me a new moisturizer to try and buy my affection again, how quaint
Lex, not even mildly concerned for the health and safety of the grotesque chimera freak in his secret lab whose skin they've been testing brand new experimental chemical combinations on because the whelp suggested he could represent you in divorce court: I hope you like it beloved, i had it made custom for you 🥰

(lex luthor's ascent from supervillainy to fatherhood by @halfagone , Chapter 80)
Of course I made a fanart of this scene, that was hilarious!
Did you know moray eels have a second set of jaws which they can launch forward from the back of its head and than retract it back to swallow its prey? That's creepy.
Red Hood is supposed to wear his winter armor. I didn't find any refrence which is labled as such so I just put him in his "Arkham Knight" outfit, that one looked winterly. ( Well, I did find some art in which he wears a Santa costume, but I doubt he wears this for the trip)
I didn't find visual refrences of a harpoon with a crank system exept of a "harpoon gun" from Fortnite, but this one is way to small. So I used modern harpoon cannon as a refrence.

Anotações de Caos - O diário
Tumblr media

i will never let you fall, i'll stand up with you forever

Eddie loves visiting the beach.
He has gone to two in his life. However, he always longed to go visit more, to pick one too many seashells and collect them all, to play in the water and bask in the warmth it brings. He has been to lakes, lots of them. However, growing up in Indiana doesn’t really entail a lot of beach days.
The sun passes through his skin, warmth and gold against him. There’s a lovely breeze sifting through his hair, intertwining him to the wind. The sand is soft on his toes, the feeling barely even there.
Arwen laughs as the sand washes on her toes, like Mother Nature herself tickling her with her kindness. Eddie watches her carefully, as she giggles and splashes at the water. A turtle comes up to the shore, making her yelp in excitement. It’s crazy how much she’s grown in the last few years, it’s like watching album pages being flipped in haste.
There’s soft snoring beside him, making Eddie turn. Steve’s eyes are closed, his chest humming with every snore. His hair sweeps against the wind, his freckles illuminated by the sun. He’s gotten old, wrinkles and glasses permanent in his face. Eddie doesn’t really care. He’s always been Eddie’s golden boy, he always will be.
He’s clutching a book about parenting, but Eddie doesn’t think he needs it. Arwen’s growing up perfectly and Steve’s doing great.
From a far, Eddie can see Nancy and Robin laughing at the fruit stand. So much time has passed now that they’re holding hands in public and no one bats an eye. They deserve it, he thinks. The happiness and pride radiating from them.
He turns his attention back to Arwen, his heart dropping when he sees her in the ocean, wading through the waves. She’s barely seven, the water stops just above her chest even if she’s still close the shore.
“Steve! Wake up!” Eddie tries to shake him awake, but Steve stays asleep, batting his hands away.
Eddie turns to Robin and Nancy, but they’re too far. He sighs, taking off his shoes, not that it matters. He rushes to the ocean and calling out to her, “Arwen! Come back!”
Arwen turns to him, familiarity shining through her eyes, something that still makes his heart stutter, “Eddie! Come swim!”
Eddie holds out his hand, “I know, honey! But you have to go back to the shore!”
She pouts, “But the turtle!”
“Ask Stevie for one, but we have to go!” Eddie pushes, as he feels the water pulsating around him. He looks around the water, surprised to see that people have run away. There’s something wrong.
“There’s a kid!” Someone shouts from the crowd, “A wave is coming!”
“Eddie! What’s wrong?!” Arwen shrieks when the water sways against them, fear evident in her eyes.
“There’s a wave coming. Hold my hand, honey. Come on. It’s going to be okay.” Arwen nods at him, wadding closer to him and trying to clutch his hands.
“I can’t!” She panics, tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
“It’s okay, honey. I got you!” Eddie catches her in his arms, concentrating all his power in protecting her. The wave surges forward.
“ARWEN!” Steve shouts from the shoreline and before Eddie can even look back, the wave sweeps them away into it’s hands.
Eddie’s not really sure how he does it, how he holds unto Arwen and brings her back to the shore. It’s the same adrenaline he felt when he had to dive through Lover’s Lake, following three people he barely know.
Steve runs through the crowd, Nancy and Robin right next to him.
“Come on, honey. You’re okay. You’re okay!” Eddie says, his hair dripping with water. He presses on Arwen’s chest. She coughs water out, bleary eyes opening and looking around.
“Oh thank God.” Eddie sighs, as Steve takes his daughter in his arms.
Steve’s shaking hard, and Eddie fights the urge to reach out, “Oh my god, you scared us.”
“I am okay, dad. I am okay.” Arwen reassures, clinging unto her father’s neck.
Robin wraps a towel on her as the people finally disperse as the commotion dies down, Nancy running a comforting hand against her back.
“Don’t ever do that to us again!” Steve wails pulling her away and brushing his hand through her wet hair, “Does anything hurt? Do you want me to call the doctor?”
Arwen shakes her head, smiling widely at her father, like she hasn't almost drowned minutes ago, "It’s okay! Eddie was with me!”
Steve freezes as Robin audibly gasps, her hand immediately clutching Steve’s shoulders.
Nancy’s mouth opening wide in shock, asking, “Who?”
Arwen, unaware of the tension she has caused, squeals, “Eddie! You know Eddie! My friend! He's always on the beach! He held on to me and brought me back.”
"Is that the reason you keep on wanting to go to beaches?" Robin asks, her own voice quivering.
"Yes! He's only on the beaches! He never goes away!"
“Peanut,” Nancy says softly, “What does Eddie look like?”
“Well,” Arwen looks at him, but he’s not far enough for it be apparent that she’s looking at someone not there, “He’s always wearing a shirt with a skull, like the one Uncle Dustin wears. He has long curly hair and he has pretty eyes.”
Eddie watches as the look on Steve’s face crumbles. It’s like watching his heart break into pieces right in front of his eyes. There has been so many handful moments that Eddie has seen Steve look like this because of him.
From the time Eddie pushed Steve out of the way, from when they were trying to revive him after their fifth and last go with the Upside Down, to the time they were burying him, to the time Steve went to what should’ve been their first date.
“Is he here? Is Eddie here?” Steve asks, sounding so broken and so young. Like it hasn't been twenty years since Eddie Munson died.
Arwen blinks at him, ready to say yes before Eddie jumps, pursing his lips, his dimples dipping, “Honey, don’t say I am here. Tell them I am not here. Please.”
Arwen’s brows furrow in confusion, but she shakes her head, “Eddie’s not here.”
Steve opens his mouth, but no words come out. “Are you sure?” Robin asks for him instead.
“He’s not here.” Arwen purses her lips, her dimples dipping and damn, that’s her lying tell.
Steve sees this almost immediately, recognition flooding in his features. He moves forward to kiss her forehead, “Okay, bean. I believe you. Can you do me a favor?” Arwen nods.
“The next time Eddie comes and shows up, can you tell him something?”
Arwen lets her eyes stray back to Eddie before looking back to her dad, “Sure, dad.”
“Tell him Stevie says thank you for saving his bean.” Steve chokes, but he pokes her stomach to make her giggle, “Tell him that I miss him everyday and I am glad that he’s around. Our metal guardian angel.”
Eddie holds up a hand on his mouth, turning away so Arwen won’t see his tears. He wipes it off, trying to get a hold of himself.
“Eddie says that!” Arwen exclaims in recognition, “He said he was my guardian angel, but he’s my friend.”
“That’s right, bean.” Steve approves, “That’s right.”
“Come on,” Robin pushes, knowing what her best friend needs right now, “I got you some pineapple juice!”
Arwen giggles as Robin and Nancy carry her off, swinging her between their arms. Steve stands still, his arms wrapping around himself as he watches the ocean and sun dance together.
“Eddie.” Steve blurts into the wind, making Eddie turn to him, “I know you’re here.”
Eddie laughs, his vision blurry with his own tears, “I am always here, sweetheart.”
He walks closer to him, watching the tears stream down Steve’s eyes. Eddie tries to wipe them away, his hands going through him.
“I did great, didn’t I?” Steve asks, making Eddie nod, “I am glad you’re here to watch her grow.”
Steve lets his eyes roam around the shore. For a moment— just a split moment— his eyes makes contact with Eddie’s. It fleets away soon after.
“I want to be around for Arwen as much as I can, but when I am ready, when it’s time…” Steve trails, letting his eyes flutter shut almost as if he can feel Eddie’s touch, “Please be there.”
Eddie smiles, “I’ll be there, Stevie.”
Arwen calls out, “Dad! Look at this seashell Auntie Robin got me! It has eyes!”
Steve wipes his tears, smiling at his daughter, “Give me a second, bean!”
“See you later, Eddie.” Steve whispers into the wind, before he starts walking back to his daughter.
Eddie watches from a far, watching as Steve throws Arwen into the air causing another burst of giggles. Nancy and Robin chuckling as they watch the father-daughter duo.
“See you later, Stevie.”
Arwen waves at Eddie, watching her friend slowly dissipate with the wind, like he's going home to the skies and ocean. The ocean is blue and bright, the sky beaming as it meets the ocean halfway.
She smiles. It's okay.
Eddie's never really gone. Not as long as Arwen visits beaches.
Luckily, Arwen loves visiting the beach.

“I’m off.” Y/N called as she walked towards the front door, her dress bag slung over one arm and the bag containing everything else she could need in the other hand.
“Bit early to be heading out, isn’t it?” Jason said from where he was lying on the sofa holding a book above him.
She turned to face him to find his blue eyes surveying her. “I’m gonna get ready at Dick’s. Means he doesn’t have to come here to pick me up. And I’m going to crash in his spare room tonight, so don’t worry about where I am when you get back from patrol.”
He frowned briefly before covering it with a smirk. “Don’t have too much fun.”
“God, do all of you siblings have the same thought process?” She raised her eyebrows.
“Honestly, I think you can blame Dick for that, sweetheart.” He smiled.
She shook her head with a smile, trying to ignore how the nickname always sent her heart stuttering. “The offer still stands for you to come too.”
He hesitated and she thought he might be considering it. “No, I’m good.”
She turned to face the door so he wouldn’t see her face fall. “Okay, I’ll see you tomorrow, Jay.”
“See you.” He called as she walked out.
***
Y/N adjusted her dress for what felt like the hundredth time as she waited for Dick at the bottom of the Wayne Manor staircase after he had decided he didn’t like his tie and went to grab another from his old room. The dress fit like a glove, just like all the others he had brought her over the years when he needed her to come along as a cover, or required her skill set. But that didn’t mean she felt like she belonged. This world had never been hers, and no matter how many times she accompanied him to galas, it never got any easier.
“Ready?” Dick asked as he reached the bottom of the stairs and offered her his arm. He looked dashing in his tux with his dark hair styled away from his eyes for a change, and she was well aware that even though she was on his arm, people were going to be gushing over him all night.
She took a breath and linked her arm with his. “Not really.”
“Four hours, tops. I promise.” He said as he led the way through the winding corridors towards the ballroom.
“I’ve heard that before, Grayson.” She said under her breath as they reached the doors. He huffed out a quiet laugh and shot her a look, resting his hand on the door handle. She took a breath and nodded, and Dick opened the door.
They were swarmed by people as soon as they entered the room. As always, people wanted to talk to Dick; the charismatic oldest son of Bruce Wayne. Some people involved her in the conversation, complimenting her dress or asking her about how she had come to be on Dick Grayson’s arm, but she knew it was either to be polite, or to figure out how much of a threat she was to their prospects with him. She managed to endure about an hour of him dragging her around to meet different people before she took advantage of spotting Damian stood on his own in a corner.
“I’m going to check on Dami.” She whispered in Dick’s ear so the couple talking wouldn’t hear her.
“Okay, I’ll keep an eye on the mark.” He whispered back, pressing a kiss to her cheek as a cover.
“Excuse me.” She smiled at the couple and squeezed Dick’s arm before walking away.
Damian looked miserable as he tried to stay out of sight over in the corner of the ballroom. She couldn’t have imagined anything worse when she was twelve years old.
“Not having fun?” She asked as she came to a stop next to him.
“Father wouldn’t let me bring Alfred.” He said, glancing up at her briefly before looking towards Dick, who in her absence had had a gaggle of people descend on him.
She hoped he meant Alfred the cat, although she doubted this would be actual Alfred’s scene either. “Well, Dick wouldn’t let me bring my computer so I know how you feel.” She smiled when it caused the corner of his mouth to tug up. “Who else is here besides you?”
“Father, Stephanie, and Tim.” He told her before his eyes darted between her and Dick again. “You and Dick are working.”
It wasn’t a question, so she wasn’t entirely sure how to answer. “Would I be here if we weren’t?”
“No, I suppose not.” He narrowed his eyes at her.
“But I’m not telling you what we’re doing, Dick made me promise not to tell anyone else.” Jason didn’t count, she told herself.
“Please. I am bored.” He stuck his bottom lip out.
She chuckled. “Not happening, Dami.” She ruffled his hair as he huffed and started pouting.
Until something caught his attention. “What is Todd doing here?”
Y/N’s heart seemed to stop as she turned to follow Damian’s gaze, and sure enough, Jason was stood awkwardly in the main entrance to the ballroom. He was wearing a tux that fit his large form perfectly, clinging to him in all the right places, and his hair was perfectly styled for the first time since she had met him. He looked incredible, and all she wanted to do was cross the room and kiss him.
“I might have invited him.” She told Damian, her mouth suddenly feeling very dry.
“You and Todd do not like each other.” Damian said, narrowing his eyes once again.
“We’ve got to know each other.” She said, watching as Jason walked further into the room, his eyes scanning the crowd for familiar faces. “I better go save him, he looks a bit lost.”
She didn’t wait for Damian to answer, well aware that the kid was watching her every move as she navigated the crowd towards where Jason was standing with his back to her and a glass of champagne in his hand. “Thought this wasn’t your scene?”
He turned to face her, his eyes dragging down her body before moving back up to meet her eyes. He swallowed thickly. “Yeah, well, my roommate invited me and I didn’t want to force her to spend the night with Gotham’s rich pricks with only my brother for company.”
“Well, I’m sure she greatly appreciates that.” She smiled.
“She better.” He said, downing his drink and then returning her smile.
She raised her eyebrows. “You planning on getting hammered?”
He stepped forward, so no one could overhear him. “One of the few perks of the pit, it takes a lot of alcohol to get me drunk now.”
She struggled to keep her eyes on his with him standing so close to her. “Dance with me?”
His eyes flickered behind her, where quite a few people were dancing in the centre of the room. “Only to piss Dick off.”
“Why would you dancing with me piss Dick off?” She asked as she took his hand and led him into the middle of the dancefloor. He took her hand in his and rested the other on her waist as she rested hers on his shoulder.
“You’re telling me you’ve never noticed how protective he is over his friends.” He whispered as he started leading in time with the music. “You should have seen the way he reacted the first time I met Roy.”
“I can’t say I’ve noticed.” She said with a smile, making sure she wasn’t going to step on his feet in her heels. Jason could dance, he led her effortlessly across the dance floor. He had clearly learnt while living with Bruce, and she wondered if it was any harder now he had practically tripled in size.
He was clearly thinking about her dancing ability too. “This isn’t the first gala you’ve been to, is it?”
“No. Whenever Dick needs a cover, really doesn’t want to be bored, or needs my skillset, I have to endure being his date for an evening.” She said as he spun them around. Speak of the devil, the new angle meant she could see Dick over Jason’s shoulder. His mouth was hanging open slightly as he stared at them. “Speaking of, he’s currently staring at us.”
Jason spun them back the other way and she watched his mouth twist up into a wolfish grin as he winked in Dick’s direction.
“Now you’re just trying to piss him off.”
“Got to have some fun sometimes, sweetheart.” He said, before ducking down to speak directly into her ear. “Has he swiped the guy’s phone yet?”
She followed his lead and leant forward, speaking in hushed whispers into his ear. “Not yet, but he’s keeping an eye on him for when the opportunity presents itself.”
“Which one of these assholes is the mark then?” He swung them past another couple who were getting a bit too close.
She scanned the room before turning him in the right direction. “Full black tux, red carnation in his button hole.” She felt his entire body tense up as he spotted the right man, his muscles curling as if he was going to launch himself across the room. She tightened her grip on him subconsciously, unwilling to be the reason Dick didn’t get what he needed.
“That’s Roman Sionis.” His voice dropped further and took on a venomous edge.
“I know, he’s a mob boss. Me and Dick have been tracking him for a while now. He’s moving into arms, we think-”
Jason cut her off, pulling her closer against him as he continued leading them through the other couples. “He’s not just a mob boss, Y/N. He’s Black Mask.”
She pulled back so she could look at him, finding worry and anger burning in his ice blue eyes. “How do you know that?”
He clenched his jaw before sucking a breath in through his teeth. “When I first got back and was trying to establish myself, I did a few jobs for him. He’s worse than most of the other fuckers, and he’s not just into arms, its human trafficking as well.”
“All the more reason to bring him down then.”
His hand on her hip shifted to the small of her back, pressing her closer to him. “He’s dangerous, Y/N. Really dangerous.”
“Me and Dick have been doing this a long time, Jason. We have strategies in place if something goes wrong. It’ll be fine.” She slid her hand up his shoulder and cupped his jaw to get him to look at her. He reluctantly dragged his eyes over from Sionis and once he met hers she could see that the outside of his irises were tinged green. "Jay-”
“Mind if I cut in.” Dick practically shoved himself in between them and sent a scathing glance at Jason over his shoulder.
“Don’t worry, Dickhead, I’m not trying to steal your best friend.” Jason took a step back and met Y/N’s eyes again. “If you need me, I’ll be by the bar.”
She watched him walk off and hoped that meant he wasn’t going to get involved. She turned back to Dick, who had already started tugging her towards one of the exit doors that led to the bathrooms. “You get it?”
He nodded and held the door open for her, following quickly behind as she walked through. He did the same for the bathroom door and locked it behind them. He handed over the phone as she reached into her bra and pulled out the small memory stick hidden in the sewn in pocket. She plugged it into the charging port and clicked through the prompts on the screen before placing it down.
“How long?” Dick asked, looking over her shoulder as the upload bar appeared.
“Ten minutes, tops.” She turned around and pushed herself up to sit on the bathroom counter. “Perfect amount of time to pretend we snuck away for a quickie in the bathroom.”
He snorted and leant back against the wall across from her with his arms crossed. “You want to tell me why you were dancing with my brother?”
“I wasn’t aware I couldn’t.” She said with a smile.
“You don’t like Jason.” He pointed out.
She resisted the urge to laugh. “Incorrect. I didn’t use to like Jason.”
“What changed?”
“I don’t know, might have had something to do with the fact you dumped him on me for four days when he could barely walk. Oh yeah, and then he saved my life.” She watched Dick’s expression and snorted. “I can’t believe he was right.”
“Right about what?”
“That you’re very protective over your friends and think he’s trying to steal them.” She smiled wider as he somehow managed to look even more offended. “It’s alright, Dickie, you’re still my best friend.”
“I better be.” He said with a pout. “He is closer to your age than I am though.”
“Seriously Dick, we’re not in high school anymore, your friends don’t all have to be the same age as you.” She smiled and glanced down at the phone to see it was halfway done. “We better make it look like we did sneak away for a quickie and have tried to hide the evidence.”
“Yeah, we better.” He said with a sigh before running his hands through his perfectly styled hair to ruffle it up. She followed suit, jumping down from the side and using the mirror to carefully mess up her own hairstyle to make it look like it had been pulled out and hastily put back together. He loosened his tie and undid the second button as she dropped her dress more off one shoulder than the other. She slightly smudged her lipstick on one corner of her mouth and had an idea.
“Come here.” She said and he turned to look at her with a confused expression. She tugged him forward by his lapel and dragged her bottom lip on the edge of his shirt collar. She pulled back and admired the slight drag of colour against the stark white.
“Good thinking. I’d give you a hickey but I think then Jason might kill me.” He said as he looked at the mark she had left.
Her lips parted. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Did you seriously not notice the way he was looking at you when you started dancing? I don’t think I’ve ever seen Jason look at someone that way. I think my baby brother has a crush.” His blue eyes lit up with mischief and not for the first time she wondered how him and Jason weren’t actually related.
“I think you’re seeing things, Nightwing. You did hit your head pretty hard last night.” She unplugged the memory stick and stashed it back in its pocket before handing the phone back to Dick.
“My head is fine.” The pout was back.
“C’mon, I need another drink.” She unlocked the bathroom door and grabbed his hand before dragging him back towards the ballroom.
It seemed like all eyes turned to them as they walked back in, so it wasn’t hard for her to look sheepish and him to plaster on his signature smile. He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her into his side as he led them towards an empty spot in a corner.
“He’s by the bar, I’ll slip his phone back while I get you a drink.” He said.
“I hate this part.” She muttered as people continued staring.
He ducked down and pressed a kiss under her ear as part of the show. “I know. Half an hour to avoid suspicion and then we’ll leave. I promise.”
“I’ll hold you to that, Grayson.” She said, and watched as he walked away.
She scanned the crowd for familiar faces and found Bruce talking to a group of people with his hand firmly on Damian’s shoulder, probably to stop his youngest from bolting for the exit, Steph was dancing with a guy around her age Y/N didn’t recognise, and Tim was sat huddled up with Bernard. She was so preoccupied with looking for people she knew, that a hand on her hip made her jump out of her skin. She turned around and resisted the urge to smack Jason’s chest.
“The lipstick on his collar was a nice touch.” He said, moving to perch on the edge of the table in front of her.
“Yeah, well, we had to make it look believable.” She said, glancing over to where Dick was standing at the bar.
“You used this as a cover before?” He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
She sighed. “Couple of times. He’s a known womanizer, remember, so it’s expected.”
He snorted before glaring at something behind her. “Demon spawn.”
“Todd.” Damian said.
“Hey, that’s mean.” She turned to Jason and whacked his arm. He narrowed his eyes at Damian, who was looking smug at her coming to his defence. She turned back to face Damian. “Everything okay?”
“Father won’t let me leave.” He complained.
“Why’s that our problem? Go bug someone else.” Jason scowled.
“Jay!” She shot a glare his way.
“You should be glad Y/N was kind enough to invite you, no one else would have.” Damian shot back.
Y/N resisted the urge to just go and join Dick at the bar. “Can you two not get long for five minutes? I mean, you both probably have more in common than any of your other siblings.” She fixed her gaze on Jason.
“Fine.” Jason finally said moving his eyes towards Damian. “Truce?”
“Only for Y/N’s sake.” Damian nodded his head once.
“Thank you.” She said before turning back to Damian. “How’s school going?”
Damian got straight to complaining about already knowing everything they had to teach him, only requiring the occasional prompt or hum of agreement from Y/N or Jason. Dick seemed to have been distracted at the bar by an old friend, so she assumed she wasn’t getting another drink. She was considering just going to get one herself when Damian stopped mid-sentence.
“What is he doing here?” Damian said it like it was a personal offence, so both Y/N and Jason turned to look at the door.
Y/N’s heart stopped and she found herself fighting to get air into her lungs. Lex Luthor was standing in the main entrance to the ballroom, two men flanking him who were clearly bodyguards. She swore she could feel the knife tearing into her skin again as Jason practically growled and shot to his feet as if he was going to run straight across the room and tackle Luthor. She reached out and grabbed his arm before he could get too far away from her.
“Jay.” She choked out as her breathing became more erratic.
He spun to face her, his eyes immediately softening. “Fuck, okay. Let’s get you out of here.”
He wrapped an arm around her waist and started leading her towards the door her and Dick had entered through two hours ago. By the time they reached it, her knees were so weak he was practically holding her up. He didn’t seem to mind, however, and practically carried her up the stairs into the main body of the manor. Her thoughts were too jumbled to pay any attention to where he was taking her, but he seemed to realise that, as he didn’t try and say anything. He hesitated briefly outside of a door, so briefly she barely noticed, before he pushed it open and walked inside.
He gently set her down on the edge of a bed and dropped to his knees in front of her. He cupped her face in his hands, simultaneously forcing her to look at him and allowing him to wipe away the tears that had started streaming down her face with his thumbs. His hands were softer than she was expecting, and she raised hers to circle his wrists, resting her fingers over his pulse point and feeling the steady beat.
“You’re okay.” He said softly. “He’s not going to hurt you again, I promise.”
“What’s he doing here?” She asked as her breathing finally started to even back out.
He sighed. “I don’t know. But Bruce won’t be happy he is, and I don’t think Bruce will let him stay.”
She nodded and pulled back from him slightly, but still kept her hands wrapped around his as she moved them from her face. Her vision had started to clear, allowing her to finally take a look around the room they were in. It was clearly the room of a teenage boy; posters littered the walls, a record player and a stack of vinyls sat in one corner, a tv and a bunch of DVDs in the other. The bedside table was covered in old magazines and the bookcase on the far wall was crammed with paperback and hardbacks alike.
He noticed her looking and swallowed thickly, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down in his throat. “This- this was my childhood room. Barely anyone comes in here now, so I knew we’d be left alone.”
She stood on shaky legs and walked over to the book case. He had a small book case in his apartment, but it didn’t have nearly as many books on it as this one did. As far as she knew, most of the books she had seen him reading came from the public library around the corner from his apartment. She heard Jason move and when she looked back, he was sat on the bed watching her.
“I knew you liked to read, but damn, you could have started your own library.”
He chuckled and laid back against the pillows, staring at the ceiling. “You sound like Alfred.”
She walked back over and laid down next to him, hands so close together that either one of them could shift slightly and tangle their fingers together.
“You know, the worst part is, I don’t even think Luthor would know who I was. I mean, he’s tried to have me tortured and killed twice, but I bet I was nothing more than a name on a piece of paper.” She whispered, keeping her eyes on the ceiling.
He shifted his hand, wrapping his pinkie around hers hesitantly. “Men like him are worth nothing. If Bruce wasn’t downstairs and I had my helmet, I’d put a bullet between his eyes before he could blink.”
She turned her head to the side to find him already looking at her and squeezed her pinkie around his. “You were right about Dick, by the way. He was jealous.”
“Is that so?” His face broke into a grin.
She hummed. “Seems to think that because me and you are closer in age I’m going to trade him in for the younger model.” She smiled when he laughed. “Why did you come tonight?”
“I already told you.” He whispered, dropping his gaze from hers again.
“Jay.” She said softly.
“You were right when you suggested it, I need to start trying more. I can’t keep blaming everyone else for not trying, when I’m not either.” He admitted. They laid in silence for a few minutes before he spoke again. “You know, teenage me would be ecstatic if he could see me now, lying in this bed with a pretty girl.”
“You’re telling me you weren’t popular with the ladies in high school with this pretty face.” She shifted forward slightly and ran a finger along his chiselled jaw.
He leaned into her touch “You know I died at fifteen, right? And I was a pretty scrawny kid before that.”
“I think teenage me would have been into teenage you.” She whispered.
“Really?”
“I mean, from the looks of this room, you were just the right level of nerd.” She smiled.
“And what about now?” He breathed out, subconsciously shifting forward until there was only an inch or so between them.
“I don’t think current you is half bad either.” All it took was his eyes flickering down to look at her lips for her to close the gap between them. His lips were soft against hers as he responded almost immediately. She turned her body into him as he did the same, brushing her fingers along his cheek before she tangled her hand in his curls as he wrapped an arm around her waist to pull her closer. The broke apart briefly, eyes searching each other for some form of hesitancy before he surged forward and kissed her again.
His hands moved to her hips and he pulled her on top of him with an ease that took her breath away. Sometimes she forgot how much the pit had actually enhanced him, on top of the muscles he worked for himself.
He sat up, keeping his lips on hers as he shifted her so she was straddling his lap. She buried her hands in his hair and tugged, causing him to groan and part his lips so she could deepen the kiss. She pressed herself closer to him as his hands moved up from her hips to knead at her chest through her dress. He swallowed the noises she made easily as she kept one hand in his hair and moved the other to start loosening his tie.
That’s when he finally seemed to realise what he was doing because his whole body went rigid and he gently pushed her back. “Fuck- I-I’m sorry. Fuck. I c-can’t do this. I’m sorry.” His eyes were glassy and her lipstick was smeared all around his lips.
“It’s okay.” She whispered, quickly clambering off of him to sit on the bed again. She adjusted her dress to cover her properly again as he struggled to get his breathing back under control.
He stood from the bed, looking anywhere but her. “I’ll send Dick up. You can go home with him as planned.” He wiped at his mouth with his sleeve as he walked out, leaving her staring after him.
She pulled herself together enough to stumble into the ensuite bathroom to try and sort her face out before Dick arrived. Her lipstick was smeared all around her lips and tear tracks were visible in the foundation on her cheeks, but luckily she had the foresight to wear waterproof eye make-up, so at least she didn’t have to deal with mascara everywhere. She wiped off the lipstick, but knew even if she took the rest of her make-up off, Dick would be able to tell she had been crying from how red her eyes were.
“Y/N?” Dick called as the bedroom door was pushed open.
She took a deep breath to steel herself and then walked out of the bathroom. “Hey.”
“You okay?” He asked, taking in her appearance.
She nodded, biting her lip as she tried to figure out what to say. “What happened with Luthor?”
“Bruce nearly lost it, I honestly thought he was going to go full on Batman on Luthor’s ass, but he stopped himself. He had him escorted out because he didn’t have a ticket. I think Luthor only showed up to gloat about a bad business deal though.” Dick said. “Jason seemed… off, I mean, more than normal. Did something happen?”
She shook her head. “Other than me having a panic attack on him, no.”
He nodded. “Must be the room then, I think this is probably the first time he’s actually been back in here since he got back.”
“Oh.” Her heart clenched painfully and she tried not to think about what had just happened. “Can we leave now?” She asked, her voice breaking.
Dick didn’t hesitate to walk forward and wrap his arms around her. She screwed her eyes shut and buried her face in his shoulder. “Yeah, of course. Let’s go.” But he didn’t actually move until she did. He squeezed her arms before taking her hand and leading her through the corridors to his car.

My favourite thing about early seasons Smallville is when someone would say that Lex is awful and that he’s done terrible things and Clark would be like “Everybody has flaws 🥰” lmao
Like I wish he’d stayed like that because the moments where he actually told people to give him a chance were amazing but then obviously because of Superman and Lex Luthor’s history they’d eventually have to become enemies but it still hurts 😭

I have fallen down the ultimate spiral. Usually falling into fandoms are ones that I know well or that I will know well because I just found an interest in them. This time, this time I've fallen into the whole dc x dp. I have no idea how or why the crossover is a thing, BUT I LOVE IT.
I'm not that big a DC fan in general, mainly because I do not have the attention span to understand what is happening (ignore the fact I've watched all of One Piece-) but I have watched all of Danny Phantom at one point or another so like, halfway there kdjnshdf
N E WAY! I was reading lex luthor's ascent from supervillainy to fatherhood real good, go read it https://archiveofourown.org/works/40263192 BUT THEN I SAW A POST, as I casually skim through it when bored, ABOUT JASON AND DANNY MEETING PROMPT/MINI-FIC ON HERE AND I WAS SO IN LOVE WITH IT
So now, my brain as it usually does, wants to write a fic on it. this is why I have so many notes/docs, someone please remind me to organize fdksjnfj but yeah- I might write some of it, I might not- I don't know, but I will absolutely dumb random thoughts I've had about it on you all.
Okay! So I don't see much if anything about it, but I love the idea that Danny is like, a baby in ghost terms. Like no one thought about it much because it was the equivalent of the "BABY HAS A GUN" meme and because the ghosts just wanted to cause some mayhem and have fun, it took them like 2-3 years to look at the overpowered ghost and go; "That's a child-".
Keep in mind, Danny is already technically the King of the Infinite realms via defeating Pariah Dark as well, so all the ghosts are like "a child....OUR CHILD" and now panicking over the fact that this lil ghost has not had a parent(Madie and Jack DO NOT in fact count as parents to the ghosts, or Danny's core for that matter, but it's not because they're human, like, the ghosts are more concerned about the fact that his parents aren't ACTUALLY his parents.)
Either way, Danny now has to avoid Clockwork, who knows he is a baby in ghost terms but almost adult in human terms so still 100% making him king, the ancient is kind enough to alleviate most of the jobs a king has to do at least......for now-
So most of Danny's 16, going to turn 17 soon, year old life is now school, dealing with the few ghosts who still cause him trouble even if he's a baby ghost to them, he does keep in mind how they are MUCH gentler now and tend to "give up" pretty easily instead of fighting him, and 'running' from Clockwork trying to coronate him.
Clockwork knows where he is when he 'hides' but his own ghost core, ancient as it is, can't help but humor the child.
Things go wonk as soon as his parents find out about him being a ghost, surprise surprise. His dad was shoot first, ask questions later as always, but his mom was more...mentally traumatizing my child by claiming they'll fix him and telling him how they would just have to cut him open a little to see what's wrong.
Danny gets hit by one of the shots and goes tumbling into the ghost zone, another shot hitting the portal itself and breaking it as he went through. Some ghost find him and are like "THE BABY!!!!"
Personally- my brain it's Kitty and Johnny finding him because they're more like friends now then much else. Kitty being like an older sister while Johnny is the friend he probably would have dated at some point given the situation since they're both around his age in general, being younger ghosts as well.
Either way, they panic, call Clockwork, since the whole Infinite Realms knows that they're Danny's guardian. Clockwork shows up, and is like "wuh oh" and decides this child needs a parent. BUT INSTEAD OF SENDING HIM TO SOMEONE CONVENTIONAL HE'S JUST LIKE WOOPPSSYYYYY *Throws a very injured and not that conscious Danny at Lex Luthor*
Lex is, despite telling himself he's not, already this random meta-adjacent kid's dad. He's sold. Be it the obvious parental neglect/abuse like he had or the fact that he didn't know he had enough of a heart not to abandoned a hurt child who knows-
Also just as a tangent, Danny 100% talks about clones one times and the two have a long talk about the sentience of clones, because like, Lex didn't think about it in a way that Clones, albeit creations of science more so, are still very sentient beings unlike other scientific creations. And depending on the type of clone, they are much much more human. Cue Lex having a mental breakdown in his bedroom later because oh fuCK HE LEFT A CHILD WITH SO LITTLE KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORLD WITHOUT A PARENT- you can't convince me Lex wouldn't be a good dad solely to spite his own.
Danny's adopted and Lex is concerned for sure about this, apparently ghost as he quickly learned, kid that wakes up screaming sometimes. Boy is he glad to have built his whole place around keeping prying meta's out amongst other things- He's trying his best, and Danny is confused as hell about having a good parent. Even more confused because he's rich.
Lex is like "I'm totally doing this to ask about his capabilities" before panicking over Danny getting kidnapped despite knowing the kid could float through a wall if in real danger-
Cue many arguments about if Danny can go do things in general. Lex is very much stubborn about it even though he knows Danny is part ghost. This IS partially thanks to the few weeks it even took for Danny to heal from the blast he took from his parents. Either way, Danny won that argument in the end by saying he'd just float through the walls and go if he couldn't. They settled that if going as a ghost he just had to be careful about heroes and not changing in sight if at all, and if as Danny, he had to take a few bodyguards, though they could be discreet.
Either way, once Lex actually shows the world his kid, and he is so proud to call Danny his kid, Danny gets kidnapped. This is exactly why LEX SAID NO DANNY!!! Either way he gets saved by some Metropolis hero, superman or not, and he's instantly a little shit tm to them. More so because they asked a question about Lex, maybe even implying he was a bad dad, and even if Danny doesn't see him as a dad quite yet, there is no way he's standing for that!
In the end, it's a while before Danny actually goes much further than Metropolis, thank you very much Lex, this halfa knows how to do a thing or two!
Except he runs into trouble right away, that trouble being that uh oh- his underlying health issues he'd been ignoring up until now cuz they haven't messed up since his death- ignore the fact he learn that corrupted ectoplasm makes him basically have heart attacks if in human form because hey! doesn't happen if he's a ghost and he'll just switch before it happens- yeah that suddenly acts up when he runs, in human form because he wanted some coffee, straight into Red Hood. How fun.
Jason is confused because of the pit's usual anger and call for violence, upon seeing this random teen that literally ran into him, fall over in pain. Jason is worried as well obviously like this kid is definitely sick or something, but wHAT?!
He does the only logical thing obviously! taking him to one of his hideouts and not telling anyone-
Danny wakes up, sore, confused, and hella tired. Jason is equally as confused and tired, staring at the kid as he wakes up. The icky ecto doesn't actually hurt Danny from being near it, it's more like his body is thrown into cold water suddenly and it just has a violent initial reaction. So now Danny is trying to figure out why this person, ghost?, he can't tell, has the GROSSEST ecto he's ever seen, and if he's even aware of it. Let alone how the heck he's gonna help this random ghost, because by damn he's still technically the ghost king and his obsession isn't protection for nothing-
Now we have Danny, who's been unconscious for hours might I add, sitting with a very confused Jason. Danny wants to help the ghost person, he might just start calling him a halfa, but he was wrong about Vlad being a halfa, he's actually more of an ecto-possessed person, really confusing. Jason wants to know WHY this kid is making his pit rage not only calm, but worried, so he's having a time, actually having a clear head for once outside of his concern for this random child, that he's only just realizing he technically kidnaped....and definitely has forgotten to tell anyone about- Welp, he's not telling them now, his oddly comforting child now.
I have more ideas from this but I have been writing this for a while now so like- I'll tell ya more if ya want but only then- If I ever do write this it will 100% be more angsty than my blabbering here kjfsdnjkf

Short DP X DC Prompts #127
Lex, in an attempt to create an opponent to defeat the batman, stole DNA from Jason Todd and attempted to create a metahuman using Jason’s likeness to destroy Gotham. Danny wakes up inside a cryopod as a bunch of scientists and doctors zip around to their various stations and weave around his stasis pod. He didn’t know what he was or why he was here but he knew that he needed to meet a man by the name of ‘Jason Todd’

Meant to Be
Jason x Reader Fan Fiction
Tumblr media
4. Lex (w.c. 1629)
Tumblr media
Waking up in the Manor was a weird experience. The room was absolutely massive - my eyes were scanning mostly to take inventory of everything but ended up just sitting in awe. I was in a queen size bed with a classic hotel like bedding. The room was expertly decorated - it was classic and modern something I never imagined Bruce Wayne to be capable of it. I could hear the hussle and bussle of the house and grabbed my phone checking the date - Friday so I should be going to school. My eyes continued to scan looking for an indication or what was what and eventually landed on the note on the bedside table. I picked it up carefully. I remember Jason setting it down but then again he also brought in my bags.  I hoped the note would be something important or telling and I just couldn't bring myself to read it. I tucked it in my pocket and moved to the bags - somehow I think Robin managed to get everything I owned into these bags. I eventually found an old uniform - it didn't fit the best but it wasn't the worst just slightly on the small side. Then I heard the most gentle tap on my door. I opened it and was surprised by who I saw.
A gentle smile and cold eyes. Bruce Wayne. I had never seen him in person before. I took a step back "Hi- Thank you for letting me stay here for a bit" I barely whispered out. Putting his hands into his pockets Mr. Wayne responded "If I didn't you'd be on the streets right?" I nodded "Many are" it was his turn to nod. "Well Miss y/n I don't think you should go to school today - I am keeping Jason and Dick home as well. Any chance you've heard from your parents-" I shook my head "- well try and keep it on the down low where you are. Let me know if you hear from anyone - word on the street Joker is looking for a kill. I'd rather it not be a kid" Bruce turned and walked away from the door down the long hall. If I am being honest I have no idea where I was within the house but knew I should find someone- someone other than Mr. Wayne. I closed the door and changed into something more comfortable. I thought about texting Jason or Dick but then thought better of it.  I decided to explore on my own. I found the stairs and walked down to see Bruce and the boys talking their heads shaped towards me and then back to their conversation but much more hushed.
"Hello Miss y/n - can I fix you something to eat?" Alfred smiled at me walking me over to the kitchen. "Oh I'm okay I don't need anything - I don't want to be a problem you guys are doing alot for me already" Alfred nodded "You're okay but let me know if you do decide to eat something." Both our heads snap towards the door as we heard glass shatter and 2 voices shouting. "Excuse me Miss y/n but I suppose duty calls". It wasn't long before Dick and Jason came in - both not noticing me just deep in their conversation. Dick was rumaging through the cabinets "Jay you've got to give Bruce a break- he is trying his absolute best. It's not his fault we are in this situation" Jason was at the sink washing blood off his hand "No but it might be mine and I'll be damned if something happens and we can't stop it. I mean" Jason looked up and we made eye contact "Hi" He said as he shook the water off his hand "Dick where are we with the supplies" Dick pulled out a little box "Got it - oh hi y/n" Dick smiled and stared at me for a second before his eyes widened. "Oh God what did you hear" Jason groaned "I'm bleeding here can I have the kit" Dick passed it to him and Jason started to patch himself up. Dick continued to stare at me. "Umm I didn't hear much I promise just that I guess Mr. Wayne and Jason are have some issues that led to something breaking" Dicks smile returned "Perfect - so what do you want to do today? I think Bruce wants us to here for some reason. He's got some work meetings but it should be fine if we are seen in the back." Jason tossed the kit on the counter "She needs to eat. When was the last time you ate?" I shrugged and Jason started moving around the kitchen.
It wasn't long before Jason had fixed up some breakfast sandwiches complete with a side of breakfast potatoes. My first bit blew my mind - the best food I've ever had. Then after breakfast the guys thought it would be funny to take my phone so I chased them all around until we ended up in the back of one of Mr. Wayne's work calls. On the screen was Lex Luthor and both of our faces dropped. I physically dropped out of frame behind the couch and the boys joined me but I hushed them - I needed to listen.
"Bruce who was that girl that I saw behind you I wasn't aware you had taken in a new kid" Bruce laugh but it sounded forced "Lex don't worry she's not mine she's a friend of the boys she's just staying with us for a few days" Lex was quiet for a bit and Mr. Wayne tried to bring up work again "I'm sorry Bruce I'm just confused why my daughter is at your house" Mr. Wayne quickly responded "If she's your daughter why does she live in Gotham- why does she have two parents who are missing? Why didn't she call you?" Lex must have thrown something because you could hear a crash over the call "I'm coming I need to see her in person. Pack her stuff she's staying with me - out of Gotham" with that the video chat ended. Mr. Wayne turn back to us "Is Lex Luthor your father?" I stood up and looked at him. "Biologically yes but I've only met him twice in my life" I heard him curse under his breath "Y/n I need you to tell me everything about your connection with Mr. Luthor or you'll be leaving with him. I don't have any sort of way to keep you here legally unless we find something". My heart quickened "I'm sorry other than him being biologically related to me and meeting him twice - I don't know anything else." Mr. Wayne's hand slid down his face "I suppose we better bring your stuff down here then - I'm sorry y/n this is out of my hands."
All that was left to do is wait. Dick and Jason tried their best to cheer me up but I was just not really feeling it. Lex Luthor was a stranger. Not someone I wanted to have to stay with but it also makes me worried that my parents may never come back. The helicopter landed with a loud roar. It wasn't much long that we were all sitting in the living room. "Bruce you should dimiss your boys they have no buniness being in this conversation" I had a boy on either side of me "In my house I believe they should be allowed anywhere and if they are in my sight then they aren't doing something reckless. They may stay if they choose". Dick tapped my knee with his reminding me that he was there and I was not alone. Lex looked at me and back to Bruce. "Look I called her parents and got the Joker. She's safer outside of Gotham. Thus she will come with me. Legally this is the only play." Bruce nodded "You'll be taking her away from her life" Lex stood up and walked to the door "I'll be saving her life. I should have done this long ago she has too many scars as it is. Y/n we need to go. After nightfall you won't be safe. Maybe these boys can be useful and help load your stuff into the helicopter". With that he left and Jason stood up screaming "Bruce do something - this can't be right. You know we can't send her with him". Dick was already moving my bags and I just sat there. Bruce and Jason were arguing and Dick was loading my bags. Alfred came up to me. "Miss y/n I'm afraid it's time to go. Would you like me to walk out with you?" I smiled "Yes I would very much like that" and with that I was on the plane without so much as a goodbye from anyone other than Alfred. I was alone with Lex Luthor.
"You won't be leaving unless you're accompanied by a staff member. You may go to school and then immediately come home. We will replace that phone so give it to me - now - the Joker may be stalking you." Reluctantly I handed him my phone and he smashed it to pieces. "Now let's get you settled in your new room". And I followed. My life was then set. I never saw Lex Luthor I simply went to school and returned home. I trained to protect myself and I made only one friend- Conner Kent. He was a bit younger but very friendly. Every time there was a Gala I'd ask to go and the answer was no. But 3 years later - I was nearly 19 - I got a yes. And the Gala was in the most unlikely of places. Gotham.

After reading chapter 8 of the yautja story, i had a fun little thought of reader and alexa (AvP protag) hanging out, swapping stories and alexa teaching reader a thing or two more about combat (general and against the xenomorphs) 😅
Oh for sure!! Lex would have loads of tips and tricks for sure!

Reconciliação - Background
Tumblr media
Sempre as tinha comigo para nunca me esquecer.
– Fecho a varanda rapidamente.
- Quer me contar o que magoou tanto naquele dia? – Ele me questiona cortando os legumes.
- Você nunca me disse isso.
– Ele abre a caixinha mostrando as alianças entalhadas. Ouro rosa e cinzas vulcânicas. Lembrava os anéis celtas.
- Aliança de compromisso? – Ele negou com a cabeça.
- Quero me casar com você.
- Feliz natal, Vic Wayne. - Feliz natal, Conner Kent.
