#TurnPage - The hero and the outlaw
A brand’s meaning—how it resonates in the public heart and mind—is a company’s most valuable competitive advantage. Yet, few companies really know how brand meaning works, how to manage it, and how to use brand meaning strategically.

American trans men prior to the mid 20th century were like. I’m going to get into shootouts with the sheriff. I’m going to date 5 women at once. I’m going to drive a stage coach at 60 mph. I will be a menace to society. And I will be so sexy and cool while doing it.

Whoever saw Jason "Tallest Robin" Todd and said "I'm gonna pair this guy with two people who absolutely dwarf him," I love you.

"Sometimes you do such a good job of being a good guy I forget you're one of the 'bad guys'" is such a good line, I'm mad it's written by Scott Lobdell.

Make Jason Todd an anti-hero again
DC Comics needs to give Jason back his guns, the all blades (only hurts magical things), and the dark Trinity (Artemis and Bizarro). He works better when he only interacts with the batfamily in small doses, i.e. Gotham is in danger of batman calls in Jason to handle something that he himself cannot do morally. Hell the outlaws and him can be traveling mercenaries.
or even make him a character that trains anti-heros
Jason Todd's best run was the Rebirth Outlaws (I will die on this hill)
There's more I want to say but can't formulate it into words right now

(6/6) "R is for Rebellion!" ❤️
Tumblr media
Jason Peter Todd was the second Robin. Known for his burning passion and strong beliefs, this little bird will soon find his own way into the world beyond that of even The Bat's established status quo. He who would encourage others to seek new ways unwritten and be an example of someone that could take life's challenges as well as come out stronger. To break rules and have the willpower to persevere to the bitter end. For at times, when old tricks fail, one must forge their own path and seek new resolutions. -Bubbly💙

Still thinking about how Casey Jones from TMNT 1987 became a Fricking Mess Without Relying on Dead Parents Origin
(Is it Wrong to think Casey Jones 1987 might have an Abusive Parents or Father who wants him to be Very Masculine??)

I'd love for more people to talk about how the only reason Fairy Tail isn't declared a terrorist group (or a dark guild, as per canon terms) is that someone at the council knows that giving them half a chance to retaliate is a fantastic way to ruin your entire month. If you can't exterminate them all in one swift strike then you'd have a better go at things by just charging them whatever fine you want and make them foot the bill of reconstruction efforts, since 'you break it you buy it' is a policy they can understand, unlike things such as 'due process' or 'respecting authority'. They might even accept to spend a short (a very short) stint in prison to appease anyone who needs appeasement, but that's about it. All of them, to a man, would rather be labeled an enemy of the state than accept government interference in their internal affairs.
They're the good guys by virtue of a technicality and a fit of whimsy

hc that one thing everyone in the batfamily knows without doubt is: alfred knows everything. hidding anything from alfred is a waste of time and energy, because he always just knows. so they simply don’t. they dont need to tell him, but they dont need to hide it, he always knows anyways.
however, the thing is alfred is just a regular old man who spends all of his time cleaning, cooking and making sure they dont die. he doesnt have time to be figuring out what the bat ninjas he has for a family is hidding so most often than not he doesnt know. it doesnt help that no one in the family ever tells him anything, because they expect him to just know. he just has a really really good poker face and an inability to be surprised by much so everyone just assumes he already knew once he discovers anything.
