Short DP X DC Prompts #118

A few weeks ago Clark Kent didn't think much of it, random people bumping into him and calling him the wrong name, asking if he's recently been working out more. After checking in with Bruce that he has no new clones he should be worrying about, He shoved the strange few occurrences to the back of his mind and forgot about it fully.... Timeskip to present day. Perry White informed him that he hired a new investigative reporter and that Clark is to mentor this new recruit to show him the ropes.

On the day that Clark is to meet his new mentee, he keeps his eyes on the elevator entrance spot any new faces that may walk in.

After thirty minutes or so Clark spotted the new recruit but his face was anything but new. The nervous new hire looked *exactly* identical to him besides a more wirey frame, a more "Minnesota lumberjack" aesthetic to him, and no glasses.

The new recruit spots him and walks over to his desk. The recruit holds out his hand for Clark to shake, "Guess we're gonna be working together huh? Nice to meetcha the names Danny Fenton."

What other fandoms are you interested in beside DC?

We can go though my past relationships with Fandoms

the very first fandom I got into was Percy Jackson. I feel like if you didn't have a Percy Jackson Phase, you're an NPC

I was very into reading in middle school, so I had a lot of phases, but the most memorable book fandoms I've been in in middle school were "Keepers of the Lost Cities" and "The Hunger Games" and another one, but I can not remember what it was for the life of me.

8th grade was also the beginning of my MCU Phase.

And then Freshman year, and the pandemic hit, and this is where I begin to get into a lot of different fandoms.

Avatar the Last Airbender, Legends of Korra, She-Ra Princesses of Power, Voltron Legendary defenders, Miraculous Ladybug, The Owl House, Oh god and those are the only ones I remember.

BRO I HAD A DC TITANS PHASE BACK IN SOPHOMORE YEAR, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THAT. I can never finish that show. Even when I wasn't a harcore DC fan. I think that show had great casting, the writing just sucked tho.

I started watching the Young Justice TV show beginning of senior year, and then I took a break, from DC content, watched Steven Universe, and then I read Dark Matter by mysterycyclone, and then I completely nosedived into DCAU content, and fanfics, and then I started reading comics storylines that kept popping up in fanfics, and then read comics more casually, and then... Gotham Wars. So, I wrote my first fanfic October 13 2023.

Sun and moon is a cute dynamic but what if...

Sun is doing their best to fit in despite being initially disliked or they initially felt out of place and is trying to prove to everyone they've changed/gotten better

And Moon is there to support them and accepts who they are wholeheartedly and has also learned to trust sun with their whole heart.
