Trick or Treat~!

Pairing: Che'nya x Floyd (could be read platonically or romantically)

Summary: It's finally Halloween night, but Floyd is in a bit of a slump. However, the arrival of a curious companion may just make the Halloween party a bit more interesting for him.

Notes: This is my first attempt at something following a prompt - specifically, "Trick or Treat" for the 2023 TWST Rarepair Halloween event. I'm trying to get more comfortable/practiced with writing prose (which is why this wasn't posted on the 30th... oops), and only vaguely ended up following the prompt. I'm fairly happy with how this little piece turned out, though!

Floyd wanted to take a break. 

It was Halloween, and all he had done the entire week was work, work, work. Getting costumes ready, decorating, helping with their dorm's presentation, plus cooking and serving at the Lounge, all on top of normal classes? 

Sure, it was fun, especially getting to show off Octavinelle's cool setup, and 'taking care of' those misbehaving visitors. But now? Everything felt draining and boring, and Floyd simply wanted to leave, which sucked because the actual Halloween party had just started!  

Maybe he should just ditch and go back to his dorm; being in a funk when everyone else is having fun around you is not enjoyable.  He slumped down on a bench and unwrapped a sweet he had picked up earlier, before wrapping it up again. Ugh, not even in the mood for that candy he wanted only a few minutes ago. 

As he shoved the sweet back into his pocket and was about to get up from the bench to leave, Floyd heard a rustle behind him. Someone was quietly humming, and… laughing? The sound gradually moved to his side, towards the empty side of the bench.  

“Trick or treat~”

Floyd turned to face the voice. "Listen, man, I'm not in the mood to—” he froze, staring at the figure beside him. “Hang on a second, where's your body!?"

A toothy smile came to the face of the head that currently floated beside Floyd. "Oh, it's here.... or maybe it's there." A pair of hands materialized on either side of this boy's head, followed by the rest of his body. 

“I'm just kidding. Mind if I take a seat? I’d like to rest up before I keep purrowling around and startling people.”

Floyd blinked, then raised an eyebrow. “Uh, go for it.” 

This guy was... weird, and it was hard to tell if he'd be annoying, or interesting. "You don't go here, do ya? At least, I’ve never seen you before. And you’re no ghost, either.”

The cat-like boy shook his head, his jewellery jingling softly. "I'm just passing through for the festivities and collecting treats. Scaring some people, too. That’s loads of fun. And it's always nice to see my friends let loose." 

Floyd had a vague memory surface. "Ohh... you must be that RSA boy who's friends with Sea Turtle and Goldfishie." 

"'Sea Turtle' and 'Goldfishie', hey? Those are good names for my green and red friends. Cats are known for liking fish." He leaned forward, his grin growing. “Artemiy Artemiyevich Pinker. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Floyd nodded, “Floyd Leech. It's nice to meet you, too.” He looked curiously at the boy beside him, taking in his shaggy hair, piercings, and impish smile.

"You're not what I expected.” Floyd smiled, "But you seem fun, Catfish. I didn't think Goldfishie would get along with someone so... interesting."

Che'nya's eyes lit up slightly. "Catfish? Heh heh heh, most people call me Che'nya, but I guess that works. And I’ve heard some… interesting stories about you, too."

He stretched his legs out in front of him, leaning back with his arms behind his head as he sighed. "But yeah, I don't think Riddle could shake me if he tried." 

"I'm almost jealous." Floyd tipped his head slightly. "Most of the time, Goldfishie likes to swim away before I can play with him."

Che'nya laughed, "Well, if you're wondering, he 'swam off' that way." He pointed off to the side. “Just don’t be rough with him. I don’t like people mistreating my friends.”

Floyd looked off into the crowd where he had pointed, and let out a small laugh. “Alright, good to know. Maybe I’ll find him later, if I feel like it”, he smiled and sat back. “And Goldfishie’s stronger than he looks, but I guess you’d know that.”

Che’nya nodded, then leaned closer with a mischievous glint in his eye. "You know, I bet we could do something that would really surprise him.” 

Floyd turned slightly towards Che’nya, and flashed a smile. “Yeah, we probably could. I think we should talk more in the future, Catfish. You seem pretty fun.” 

Che’nya grinned, “You seem pretty fun, too.”

"Well,” he stretched his arms above his head. “I think I’m going to go and find some more treats… and play some more tricks tonight. I'll catch you around, Floyd." 

With a haunting giggle echoing in his ears, Floyd watched as the boy beside him faded into nothingness, just the same way he had arrived. 

What a weird guy.

Floyd unwrapped the candy he had pocketed earlier, then popped it into his mouth. Maybe this party was worth staying at after all.

They'd wanna wake you up, gently nudging you, "oi, my shoulder isn't for you to sleep on", but seeing how fast asleep you were and seeing how adorable your resting face was had them giving in.

I feel like Leona would be inclined to sleep as well, eyelids growing heavy and his head occasionally leaning on yours, but he would try to keep himself awake because he didn't want anyone to disturb you. If anyone walked in making a ruckus, he'd shoot them a glare and quietly tell them to shut up lol.

When you wake up, these dudes would definitely be like, "Finally awake, sleepyhead? Well you owe me one for drooling all over my shoulder". Apologize all you want, the only acceptable payment he'll take is your love and affection, particularly in the form of a kiss, hehe 😘

Wouldn't really know what to do

Idia, Deuce, Epel, Ruggie

They'd probably freeze up when they've realized you've just fallen asleep on their shoulder. Should they wake you up? Should they just let you rest on them? They wouldn't know what to do. While they don't want to disturb you, knowing how tired you must have been, the longer you leaned on them, the more they would observe your lovely, peaceful visage, note the warmth radiating from your body as you were clinging onto their arm, and just wouldn't be able to handle the adoration that they felt for you overwhelm them. They would feel their heart rate go up and feel their cheeks grow hotter as you held them closer in your sleep. He wasn't used to being in close contact with you for such long periods of time after all.

Sleeps along with you

Floyd, Cater, Kalim, Che'nya, Silver

He's going to lean his head on yours and fall asleep too. He doesn't plan on waking you up and would feel too bored just sitting there that he decides he might as well sleep. I think it would become a routine between you both. The moment he feels your head weigh down on his shoulder, he'll stop whatever he was doing and would grin, "I guess it's nap time for me too!!", and then sleep. Let's be real, he probably uses it as an excuse to slack off, yet, at the same time, he truly enjoyed moments like these where he could simply rest and be so close to you.

Before sleeping, I can totally see Cater taking a selfie of you sleeping with him waving a peace sign and captioning it, "Nap time~!"

Is as happy as can be

Rook, Malleus, Lilia, Neige

When he feels the weight of your head resting on his shoulder and sees you asleep, they are over the moon for you. They're just so happy to know that you're this comfortable and relaxed enough around them, that their hearts are all a flutter. He's so tempted to scoop you up in his arms and let you rest there, holding you close to their chest, but seeing how peaceful you already look right now, he chooses to keep still. Though, if you subconsciously nuzzle your face into his shoulder, he's gonna want to kiss you right then and there. You're just. Too. CUTE!!! 😤💘

And if you do end up waking up because of it, he'll apologize but will be thankful deep down because now, he'll take this chance to let you sleep in his arms instead, where he can keep you close, safe and protected in his warm embrace, kissing your forehead as you again fall asleep, "Rest well, my love. I'll be here for you when you wake up"

Will wake you up

Vil, Jamil, Rollo, Sebek

Yes, these guys will wake you up especially if they had things to do, but will do so politely (excluding Sebek, he'll be loud asf) and with good intentions. If you're this tired, then he suggests that you lay down and sleep in your bed. Y'know, so you can be more comfortable, and the last thing he wants is you getting a stiff neck from sleeping on his shoulder.

Yet, if you insist enough that you want to sleep with him near you, then he'll oblige by either letting you lay your head on his lap or by carrying you to your room and sleeping beside you. In the case that he sleeps beside you, when he sees you've finally succumbed to sleep, he'll try to slip out to continue his work. But once your hand instinctively reaches out to grab his sleeve and mutter his name, he stops, and resigns himself to laying beside you again, huffing, "oh boy, what am I gonna do with you..?" , while softly caressing your cheek with his thumb. He tries, but he simply can't resist you.

Won't be bothered at all

Azul, Riddle, Jade, Trey

If it was possible, he would simply continue what he was doing, albeit more subtle and quieter now. You sleeping on their shoulder wasn't bothersome to him. He found it quite endearing actually.

He liked the contact and for you to be vulnerable like this with him, he doesn't want to ruin the moment. You are now under his care. And he'll ensure that no one disturbs you and that you're able to lean on him comfortably. I think he'd feel free to show more affection towards you now that you were asleep. He'd kiss the top of your head, and probably keep his hand on your thigh or on top of yours, gently rubbing circles on your skin as he continues his task. If any strands of hair were covering your face, he'd promptly move it away so that he'd be able to thoroughly admire you, smiling because of how fortunate he feels to be with you.

“Realistic” Courting Rituals

GN!Reader X Various TWST Characters

This isn’t as smutty as my other works and was more of a straight forward, logical look at applying typical animal courting/mating rituals onto the TWST cast. A lot of people tend to write the beastmen and fae characters as animalistic, but rarely actually do the research into mating habits, so I thought I’d write up little headcanons or whatever.

Some of this comes across as rather silly ‘cause I stopped taking it quite as seriously midway into typing them up lol

All characters are 18+

Leona Kingscholar

Male lions will begin courtship by rubbing their head against the lioness’s head, spraying urine, and licking her genitals. He will also patiently follow around a lioness until she is ready to mate, where in which he’ll bite onto her neck to get a grip and mount her. Females are also very demandful and will become aggressive if a male isn’t mating with her enough. She’ll even attack him until he does.

Leona doesn’t have a pride full of females demanding attention from him, but he does have you which is a blessing for his lazy ass. Once he has an interest in you, he’ll start pursuing you by checking in on you, following you around to make sure that you’re safe (and to scare off any rivals), and will become more openly affectionate. Will definitely rub his head against you, maybe a bit too hard as he lets out a low rumble (not a purr, lions don’t purr, sorry). As time goes on he works up to licking and cuddles while napping.

Doesn’t spray urine ‘cause that’s unsanitary, but will give you articles of clothing and jewelry as a way to get his scent on you and ward off rivals. Is super patient and will wait until you give him the go ahead to the next step since it’s the lionesses that signal for mating to begin. I imagine the two of you were napping in his room with him nuzzling you and things just got heated. He won’t do anything unless you make it very clear you want him to dick you down.

Starts off with lapping at your genitals lazily until you’re ready to take him. Would probably prefer doggy style the first time since it allows for easier mounting, but won’t protest if you prefer a different position. Will latch onto your neck (specifically the back part) just on instinct to make sure you don’t wiggle around too much. There is a slim possibility he has barbs on his dick, but due to being humanoid (or maybe magic idk) they aren’t sharp and won’t completely wreck your insides. Definitely adds another unique layer of pleasure for you so congrats.

Will only mate as many times as you request ‘cause this is still Leona we’re talking about and he’s a lazy piece of shit. Find your inner lioness and demand another round or else his ass is grass.

 Ruggie Bucchi

Hyena males have a variety of courtship behaviors meant to attract a female mate. Females are naturally more aggressive than males, so males tend to be submissive and may widen their legs to show their penis to let the female know he wishes to mate. Males will also “shadow” females and follow them around in order to get close to them, as females are extremely picky.

Okay, regardless of whether or not you’re a female, he’s going to be more submissive, unless you happen to be more submissive then him. In which case, he may adopt more dominant traits, but it’s gonna be weird for him. Will start following you around and copying you, like: If you eat, he eats. You’re napping under a tree, he’s napping under a tree. You’re studying for a big exam that week, he doesn’t have a big exam but will help you study anyways. Essentially becomes in tune with your schedule while still managing his own affairs somehow. Will also be more openly affectionate, yet will back off the moment he feels he’s overstepping. Female hyenas are very picky and the last thing he wants to do is lose his chance with you.

Will widen his legs more when he’s around you as a sign, but won’t outright say anything, even if others notice or point it out (it’s his way of flexing give him a break). Honestly, you could do almost anything to him and he’ll allow it ‘cause he doesn’t want to lose his chances with you. Like, you could grab his ears out of the blue and he’d just take it as a sign that he’s making progress. Like Leona, he won’t make his move until he knows for sure that’s what you want. Male hyenas aren’t allowed to mate unless the females allow it, so he needs you to basically outright say that, yes, he can fuck you and you won’t bite his head off. Feels truly blessed that the courtship went successfully and will be over the Moon if you want to go another round with him.

 Jack Howl

Male and female wolves courtship is fairly neutral, with both snuggling, walking close together, mouthing each other’s muzzles, nose touching, and grooming. Males are very protective and will fend off rival males. Males and females get stuck together due to swelling in the male’s penis and contracting from the female’s walls, which can last 15-30 minutes.

Honestly one of the most “normal” in terms of wooing you. He becomes more physically affectionate and will want to spend more time with you. Quality time is key for him, so expect a lot of nuzzling against your neck and facial area, maybe a few licks here and there. He doesn’t have a muzzle per say, so he’ll substitute it with kisses, usually open mouthed ones. Out of everyone, the most likely to have multiple heated makeout sessions with you. A lot of touching and close contact, may even become overly protective of you to the point of warding off anyone he perceives as a rival (yes this includes Leona).

Will become more and more affectionate until you two finally mate. He’s a bit rough the first time around, making sure to thoroughly fuck you. May bite and scratch you but in a way that pleasures you. And yes, he does have a “knot,” but you two don’t get stuck like you originally believed because your walls don’t work like a female wolf beastmen’s so you’re fine. Is the king of aftercare and will go the extra mile checking you over, getting you hydrated, and napping with you.

 Azul Ashengrotto

Male octopi have to be careful when courting and mating due to females cannibalizing them. Most courtship includes removing their penis/tentacle and presenting it to the female to take and use, though a male will also stretch out his still-attached penis and mate from afar as well. Typically, females pursue males and flash their beacon.

Put simply, he’s a little bitch when it comes to courting you and probably keeps his distance. He knows you won’t actually kill and eat him, but given his less than stellar first meet with you, he’s nervous. Probably won’t actively start pursuing you unless you gave him the sign to do so. What sign you may ask? Why, the beacon sign of course. This beacon is actually just a ring of Mostro beverage you got on around your mouth and laughed off while he stood there, flustered and trying to keep his hard on in check.

From that point onward he’d try to get close to you, while still keeping his distance. Most courting was in line with human customs at this point, so gift giving, quality time, acts of service, etc. But he could never work up the courage to try and bring up mating with you, too afraid. It’s morbid, but he probably did at one point consider just giving you his tentacle penis, too afraid to swallow his nerves and mate with you the practical way. Floyd encouraged this route while Jade managed to knock some sense into the idiot before he did anything rash.

Best bet is to have a moonlit dinner with him, get a few drinks in him to calm his nerves, and lead him into the nearest secluded room and start ravaging him. Might have a few instances where he looks about ready to bolt, but once he’s fully sheathed in you and you’re practically devouring his mouth, he’ll finally get the damn hint. Sex with his octoform won’t be until much later though, but don’t worry, he won’t unattach his dick when the time comes.

 Floyd & Jade Leech

Female eels let male eels know they’re ready to mate by opening their jaws very wide, where in which the two will then wrap their bodies around each other and mate for hours at a time. Mating only occurs when the environment is warm enough and there’s plenty of food.

There is little to no courting, these two just go for it the moment you openly yawn in front of them on a particularly warm day at the lounge. All the requirements are met: The lounge is stocked with food, the weather is warm but not too hot, and you did just open your mouth wide like some needy whore right in front of them. Honestly, whether the both of them are present or it’s just one of them, there’s a good chance they will pull you into the nearest empty room and just start going at it. Unless you explicitly say otherwise, they’re down to fuck you the moment you open that pretty, little mouth of yours.

Note: The Leech twins know what yawning is, but if you repeatedly do so in front of them, they’re going to take that to mean you want some fuck. They’re currently on the menu and you just ordered a nice, hot serving of eel dick.

Will wrap themselves around you the best they can given their human forms, but would probably prefer to be in eel form since they’re more used to that form of mating. Yes, they can last up to hours and go multiple rounds. Buckle up ‘cause you’re in it for the long run babe.

 Malleus Draconia

Dragons aren’t real, though they are usually portrayed as very possessive lovers who may court by giving jewels and gold. Some male lizard species have been known to scratch the back of females and lick her as a way to ask to mate. If she licks back, then he’ll proceed to mate with her. Many other lizard species also includes males showing off to females, pursuing them, head bobbing, and showing dominance.

Once Malleus actually realizes that his feelings are more than just simply platonic, he’ll begin courting you the ‘ol fashion way, dragon style. He becomes protective over you, will make sure nobody else is courting you and will make it clear that he is the one pursuing you. Will glare and snarl at anyone who looks at you for too long or attempts to woo you. Will show off to you, either through his magic abilities, knowledge on certain subjects, or even strength. Shows dominance by outmatching everyone else at something, which isn’t that hard for the much older and experienced fae. Might bob his head at you, but will stop after you questioned him about it and he got embarrassed over the silly act.

Instead, will start to give you gifts of precious gemstones, gold jewelry, and other valuables, ones that have meaning to them. Like, he’ll usually give you emeralds or dragon-shaped jewelry, or will give you your personal favorite gemstone. Once things start to really hit off and he’s alone with you, will go for it and gently scratch your back, followed by a light lick. Honestly, Lilia or somebody better inform you the meaning of this beforehand because if you don’t reciprocate with a lick of your own, he’ll take it as a rejection and become disheartened. But if you do reciprocate, then you’re in for a long, rough night ‘cause this dude’s dick ain’t human and his goal is to properly ravish you. You will be sore and covered in bitemarks the next day.

 Sebek Zigvolt

Crocodile males will secure an area for mating, scaring off any rivals, before beginning the official courtship. The males will then begin to rub their snout along or on top of the female’s head and continue to do so until both are rubbing against each other or “dancing” together. Some vocalizations and bubble blowing in the water may occur as well.

How you managed to catch Sebek’s eyes despite him only having eyes for Malleus is not exactly known, but you did. Congrats, you now have an overzealous manbaby who’s in denial of his feelings and is trying his best to avoid you, only to end up following you when he’s not with Malleus. He wouldn’t even realize it at first, but he acts protective around you and will keep any rivals away. The way he treats you directly doesn’t change much outside of him (trying) to be nicer and not insult you quite as much (as per Lilia’s advice). It isn’t until he starts to notice you reciprocate his efforts that he begins to secure an area for you two (most likely his bedroom or some unused room at his dorm).

When it comes times for the deed and he leads you to the room, he becomes much more affectionate and starts to rub his face and mouth along your head and neck area, breathing in your scent. He’s embarrassed by the action, but can’t help it as it comes almost natural to him. Once you start returning the gesture, he’ll take it as the sign to go ahead and he’ll start creating a deep rumbling sound while fucking you. Is a mix of rough and gentle, going from nipping you to outright biting.

 Lilia Vanrouge

Fruit bat males will find a female to roost with and spend extensive amount of time grooming the female. They’ll also vigorously lick the female’s nether regions, possibly to either arouse her or to remove rival sperm.

Similar to the Tweels in that he kind of just goes for it. Dude’s old and has been around the block enough to have confidence that he could just go right into courting you and eventually win you over. Will start spending more time with you, sharing quality time and just hanging out. Will wait until he’s reached a point in the relationship that you’re comfortable around him and now he can start the actual process of courting for mating.

Will invite you over for tea, which becomes rather apparent wasn’t the actual reason as he begins to groom you in the form of brushing your hair and preening your overall appearance. Will chat with you, buttering you up and complimenting you throughout. Will forgo the brush in place of his fingers and he’ll start to nuzzle and kiss your neck. This can take up to hours before it actually reaches the bedroom. When you actually get to the bedroom, prepare for another hour or so of him just going down on you, licking and nipping your lower region until your orgasming again and again and again. Better buckle up because this bat fae’s mating is a day-long experience.

 Che’nya

Male cats will mount the female, usually grabbing the back of her neck with his mouth to keep her from pulling away. There aren’t any real courting habits, males just mate females if they reciprocate. Sometimes males will gather around a female and take turns mounting and mating her. Male genitalia have sharp barbs on them, believed to stimulate the female and scrape out rival sperm.

I’m gonna be honest and say I almost forgot Che’nya and don’t have much to say on him. The most normal of the beastman, even more so compared to Jack. If he did court you, then it probably just includes him sneaking into NRC to flirt and mess with you. Will randomly appear and peck you on your face, neck, or mouth. I can also imagine him being unbothered by any of the others being interested in you, like, as long as he gets his own turn with you, he’s fine with it. When you two actually do it, he’ll mount you from the back and bite the back of your neck (much like Leona though gentler). And also like Leona, his dick barbs aren’t sharp and won’t hurt, stimulating you more. Will maybe cuddle and purr with you afterwards, unless you two get caught or something. In which case, he’s pecking you on the lips and disappearing with a laugh in the air.

He says, jokingly you respond with " you are but it's you so I know that's not why your here" "your words wound me y/n" while you two where talking you ended up making it to the main area with out noticing. That's when che'nya asks you the same question he asked earlier that day "so what are your thoughts on coming to rsa instead?" "excuse you?" Riddle interups before you can say anything ace and deuce are right next to you in less then a second draging you away from che'nya and over to the table "y/n is perfectly fine right here in nrc with us there not going anywhere" ace says glaring at che'nya. "Ya y/n you can't leave your my selfie buddy, plus who am i ganna gossip with if you leave" as cater says that you sit down and deuce pushes your chair in while trey offers you a cup of tea. "If y/n wishes to go to rsa instead that's not our place to stop them, though I would love if you'd stay" "I agree with trey-senpi even if it would be sad if you left" deuce added but it was quite obvious he wanted to take aces side. "what even brought this question up to begin with, y/n are you wanting to leave nrc?" Again you couldn't get a word out before being interrupted "me and the rest of the students agree that it would be better from y/n at rsa, wouldn't it? It would be alot less stressful" "That may be true but if she doesn't want to leave you can't make her" "but I don't wanna leave" you say finally being able to talk over everyone. "Well then you heard the lady now leave us be" ace immediately says after your statement che'nya accepts his failure and goes to leave but not with out stealing some sweets and saying good bye first. After that event they all seem to have gotten a little more protective over you till all the rsa students leave after vdc.

It's a very well known fact that the "fish mafia" trio looked at you as there little sister considering there attitudes towards you and the way you where treated. So it wasn't much of a surprise how they acted when they over heard a conversation you had with rielle, "actually that's a question I've been meaning to ask, why are you going to nrc y/n?" Ruggie drove for like 2 ½ hours but Trey had to take his spot because Ruggie was gonna straight up murder the next person to cut him off

Their first stop is Trey’s families bakery, there is a lot of cheek squeezing and Jade is just chuckling in the back

Cater convinced some of  the others in the back of the car to play black jack (card game where you try to get closest 21 without going over) and uh, Lilia is REALLY good at black jack and says, “You’re lucky we aint betting anything~” 

Silver is asleep on Sebeks shoulder with Esther calmly nestled into his hood in their bat form

They pass some older Victorian buildings and Malleus is talking to Azul about how they were built

So, they have like 3 vehicles cuz NRC has a lot of kids plus Neige and Che’nya and Sam, Crowley and Crewel who have a car with the more ‘peaceful’ kids

Jack found Epel’s Ao3 (its Ao4 in twst but imma call it Ao3) and uh- hes so confused cuz bois never read fanfics and he asked Leona with no explanation, “What tf is the Omegaverse?” and uh, Leona died

Jamil is listening to music while Ace and Kalim talk for half of the roadtrip and hard crash onto Jamil’s shoulders (they were on both sides of him) and napped the other half

Karaoke, that's it just karaoke

But Idia, who hates water, goes in with him and says, “You’re dating a dragon boy and I have blue flaming hair, we wouldn’t ever care about your appearance.”

I just came across Boyfriend (yandere fem!riddle x reader) and gosh, that was sooooo good 🙈

Got me thinking what if the boyfriend wasn't Floyd but... Trey... and how would our cute Riddle react if instead of a guy she could hate freely, it had been her childhood friend the one that stole her beloved reader!

:O TREY...... omg poor Riddle... this is arguably much more difficult than boyfriend!Floyd because, by all counts, Trey is a genuinely good man. T_T she just can't win, can she? Having to hide her sexuality from her mother while fighting for her life to narrowly escape arranged marriages with men, having to watch you and Trey slowly fall in love while she's hopelessly pining from the sidelines because she's not sure if you like girls, and now it's been a few years and you and Trey are still together.

What's worse is that Riddle can't even find anything about Trey to hate or disapprove of because he comes from a good family and knows how to provide for you. He's truly husband material, and this is what she fears: you and Trey getting married because surely that's the next step, right? Meanwhile, Riddle's mother would sooner crucify you for stepping foot in her home and introducing yourself as her daughter's girlfriend. It's such a tough situation to navigate.

On one hand, she doesn't want to interfere in your relationship with Trey because this is her childhood friend, the guy who always looked out for her and stuck by her side even when her mother banned him (and Che'nya) from her house. Riddle doesn't want to lose her friend, but she also doesn't want to lose you either. She probably logics it out, assessing the risk in that classic Riddle Rosehearts way. She's so meticulous about it. Perhaps she eventually decides there's no point in trying to do something that may result in her losing both of her dear friends. So instead she'll just continue to love in silence, eyeing you like you're those forbidden strawberry tarts she could never have. And, in some ways, you are. She wants to be happy for you and Trey, but it's hard when she's spent so many years quietly obsessing over you.

It would be so much easier if Trey was someone she could dislike, but he's actually really good for you. How can she possibly handle that?

You certainly can: I am feral about them.

I could probably ramble about them for hours but I will refrain from saying too much for now.

I think their potential is so good because at its core Riddle x Floyd is order x chaos personified and I think their influence on each other is so good. Like, Riddle forcing Floyd into actually having some semblance of organization in his life but also Floyd convincing Riddle to relax sometimes and just take what life gives him.

I know it's really easy to argue that Floyd has some sort of crush on Riddle (with the fact that he's always going out of his way to find him, especially when he's not feeling great. ex: book 4 when Riddle doesn't want to go home and Floyd shows up with the intention of 'he can't be upset if he's annoyed with me') But consider that Riddle actually realizes that he has a crush on Floyd first. It's not necessarily that Riddle gets a crush first, he just realizes it first.

Like, imagine Riddle one day just complaining to Trey about Floyd and how annoying he is and how he doesn't understand why he makes him so angry when Che'nya does nearly the same thing as Floyd and Riddle never gets angry at him. And Trey just goes 'do you, maybe, have a crush on Floyd?' which just makes Riddle angrier at Floyd because he had no idea how to deal with having a crush.

I think a lot of Riddle's annoyance with Floyd stems from the fact that he cannot understand his feelings and he knows how to angry. Because, Floyd seems to be the only person that Riddle will get annoyed with just by seeing him...

In conclusion, I'm very normal about them and I think they're neat...

When they end up doing it, it would seemingly be out of nowhere. (If you had known the feelings that they've harbored for you for the longest time, it wouldn't have seemed so)

I see these dudes doing this out of frustration and finally using this opportunity to confess to you (like in classic shojo anime *cue the sparkles and the flowers 🌸✨️*) Look into their eyes and you'll see the longing and desperation they've held, paired with their flushed cheeks. And they'll continue to hold this stare until you give them a response to their confession.

For Idia, I actually see him backing off after holding your gaze for a bit, hands hiding his face even further flushed face, muttering, "wow...that was so cringe...what am I? The love interest in a shoujo anime?" But he'll find that the cringe was worth it if you end up admitting that you reciprocate his feelings.

Smoothly

They'll be smooth with it, slowly backing you up towards the wall as he confessed his feelings, slamming one hand above your head yet, gently holding your chin with the other (similar to the Usui x Misaki pic above!). They'd have that same look as Usui too, an intense, half-lidded stare with a glint of mischief and lust behind it.

They're holding back, you know. If you were already his, he would have devoured you by now. After all, you've instilled them with a burning passion and this is the best he can do to show it without scaring you away.

They would "kabedon" with both of their hands, slamming each at the sides of your face. They desire your full undivided attention when they confess to you like this. They don't intend on letting you escape, and might even dare to pin their knee in between your thighs to make sure of that. He'll then lean in close to your face, forehead nearly leaning against yours, and say, "Hey...I love you, you know?"

I don't see them taking such a measure when confessing to you for the first time, but I'd see them doing it if you two were already in an established relationship

If he ever did do it, I think he would have been told to do it after seeking advice on how to make you swoon. But when it finally comes to committing the act, he'd be nervous and shy about it. After slamming his hand against the wall and saying "Y/n...I love you..!", he would mutter to himself, "D-Did I do it right...?", voice-cracking and blush spreading across their face.

You'll be distracted by his teasing and playful banter that you won't realize he was backing you towards the wall. When your back finally hits it, he'll lean one hand on the wall, lean in towards you. He'd smile devilishly as he thought of how adorable you were with that flustered look on your face when you finally realize what he was doing.

He would then take your hand, interlacing his fingers with yours, whisper an, "I love you", and then kissing the back of your hand, all while having the biggest grin on his face and gaze never leaving yours.

And if you tell him that you love him back, he's going to bring you into a hug and softly rub his nose against yours, maybe even shower you with feathery kisses of joy all over if you let him.

I blinked twice in shock and Grim jumped out of my arms and was yelling at Crewel, "MYAA! But what will happen with me?! Me and [Y/n] count as one student still! What will happen when she leaves?!"

Crowley chuckled. "Of course, you will count as a single student Grim." Grim went wide eyed and I bit my lip. 'I don't even remember much of what I did back home... and... all my friends here...' "Of course, you do not have to leave right now. " I gave a confused "Huh?" To Crowley who then approached me. "To be quite honest... I don't want you to go either... WHO WILL HELP ME TAKE CARE OF THESE RECKLESS KIDS?!?" Crowley complained and I sweat dropped while Crewel punched Crowley in the head.

"What he means- is that you don't have to choose instantly. This is a choice and if you wish to go back then you can." I just chuckled. "I'd.... I'd like to go back... but after I say goodbye to everyone." Crewel understood and dismissed me and Grim.

"Are you... really going back..?" Grim asked as he climbed onto my shoulder. I sighed and scratched the back of his ear. "I don't want to leave either Grim... But at the same time I'm worried about what happened in my world. My parents, my home, all of that. Besides, Crewel-Sama said that we could visit each other whenever we want. So if you get bored or too tired, or if you just miss me, then you can ask the Dark Mirror to visit me again." I giggled

Grim gave me an unsure hum. "Well, it's Saturday so we can spend the whole day together." Grim smiled slightly and nodded. "Yes please..." I giggled and then jogged to the mirror chamber. "Let's go to Heartslabyul first!" I exclaimed happily and ran.

Heartslabyul was shocked. Ace and Deuce were even in denial for a while

Savanaclaw was pouty and pissed. Well- Only Leona was pissed... I guess it's because I used to cook for him every now and then.

Octavinelle was annoyed and was complaining the whole time. Okay that was just Floyd but that's because he says that, "Waahhh! Shimpy! You can't leave because who else will be my comfort pillow!".... yeah...

Scarabia was whiny... I mean- I expected it from Kalim but from Jamil too? That was shocking. 

Pomefiore tried to act calm but I saw that they were disappointed especially Rook. Vil even posted it to Magicam and everyone of Vil's followers who knew me were all bidding me goodbye and good luck.

Ignihyde was depressed. They all were upset that the only social interaction that they get was leaving. But after seeing Ortho's disappointed face I almost was about to say that I was never gonna leave.

Finally Diasomnia was gloomy... Esspecially Tsunotaro. He was so upset that he almost tried using [Fae of Maleficence] again. Thankfully I was able to stop him when I mentioned that he could visit whenever he liked.

But what shocked me was that even RSA came by my dorm when I started to pack. They actually held a thirty minute party and gave me a ton of stuff to remember them by.

Allison gave me one of his coats. I would normally wear his whenever I would visit so it was nice to have one for my own... It's so comfortable and stylish after all.

Che'nya gave me a big plush cat that looked like the pink and purple cat from my dreams. Thankfully he used magic on it so I can turn it into a keychain or the big plush whenever I wanted.

Neige gave me one of his limited time albums that had the other dwarves in the song. Complete with a USB to watch the live version.

Prince Rielle gave me a seashell hairclip that had the RSA insignia on the inside. The seashell was the same as the seashell he gave me when we first met.

Elliot also gave me a plush, but this one was a plushie of one of his mouse friends. It was cute with it's big ears.

Finally, Jasper gave me a photo album of all the photos that I've taken at RSA. It photos of all my friends at RSA, the teachers, events held at RSA, heh- even pictures of my favorite foods

The party was fun, and after they all left, my friends here at NRC threw a two hour party... Just like RSA, they gave me tons of gifts as well. Clothes, plushies, jewelry, magic items..... But the four that stood out the most was that Leona gave me a necklace with his family's crest on it, Vil placed a curse on all my stuff so that only me and the people I fully trust can touch my stuff, Idia gave me an entire new phone with the best of literally everything! The storage was over 900! But the one I loved the most was the one that Tsunotaro gave me.

He gave me my very own wand.

I was so excited. Malleus said that he and everyone else created the wand just for me and that they added all their magic together. I bursted into tears because of that. I thanked them profusely and they urged me to try and cast magic.

When I tried a simple spell I was shocked and absolutely ecstatic that I could cast spells like the others now. But what shocked me the most was that I could use all their unique magic. However, they weren't as shocked, they said it's because they already know because it's their magic. Grim was jealous that I was so powerful now but at the same time he looked so proud of me.

Another hour passed of me playing with my new wand and magic until finally all my stuff was packed. My friends all joined me to bid me goodbye. When we made it to the room with the Dark mirror, I also saw Headmage Crowley, Professor Crewel, Professor Trein, and Coach Vargas.

They all explain how proud of me they were, not only for surviving as the only female, but for helping them deal with the overblots as well. Then the four staff members gave me gifts as well.

Headmage Crowley gave me a Hat and cape similar to his own... But less feathery. He used magic so that it will grow too as I grow older.

Professor Crewel gave me a baton similar to his own and told me, "If any bad pups approach you then use this" Honestly, he said it with such annoyance that I almost said, "Thanks Dad!" right on the spot. 

Now, Professor Trein's gift shocked me but awed me the most because he gave me a life sized plush of Lucius.  AND IT WAS SO FLUFFY~~! I LOVED IT!

On the other hand... Coach Vargas gave me a whistle... kind of disappointed not going to lie... But I could use it if I'm in need of help so I', glad.

Crowley prepared the Dark Mirror and I bit my lip. "Will this really work..?" I asked him as I started at the Dark Mirror. "I'm absolutely sure." He smiled and pat my head. My friends started hugging me and bidding goodbye one by one for the fifth time. "You better call us for at least 10 minutes per day!" Grim yelled with teary eyes. "Aww~ Are you gonna miss you're favorite henchmen~?" I teased and giggled, patting his head softly as I crouched to his height.

"*Sniff*...... Yes..."

I blinked twice and then slowly pulled Grim into a tight hug. "Don't worry. The Dark Mirror should work so we can visit each other during summer or winter break" I smiled and pat his head as he cried. "P-Promise..?" Grim sniffled and rubbed his head into my stomach.

"I promise."

Grim panted and wiped his tears with his paws. "Okay... I... I'll miss you." I smiled and then looked up at Crowley. "Can we take a photo before I go?" I asked and waved the new phone Idia gave me. Everyone agreed and a ghost that was passing by took a photo for me while I posed with everyone, my friends, my teachers, my little brother figures, my father figures. "Okay! Done!" The ghost handed me my phone and my friends crowded me, asking me to send the photo to them all. 

After I did so, we made a group chat of all of us before I bid everyone one last goodbye.

And I entered the the Portal of the Dark Mirror.

As I felt my body getting warm due to heat, I opened my eyes, excited to see where I am.

Only to find myself in front of a bathroom mirror...

"I- Huh..?" I questioned myself, confused.

I believe the bane of a multishipper existence is when they see two characters that would be great as a couple but u r already so into another ship with the characters.

Like, I love VilIdia so much thanks to my moot, but also... Idia and Azul... And Vil and Rook... And then when I see VilRook content I also get "but Rook and Jade... The freak boys..." USBDJDBDKDNE WHYYYYY

Thankfully Floy'Nya stays intact in my heart, there is NO ONE ELSE I would ship these 2 with. Maybe QPR Trey'Nya at max, but that's it really. And it is, as said, platonic. I don't even like any ship with Floyd besides him x Che'Nya or my own oc lmao
