TWST PARENTS! Leech, Draconia and Kingscholar!!

First of all, I must warn you that these designs may change in the future, either because the game presented us with the official designs, or just because I really wanted to change... Or I could reuse these designs for these characters! Given that warning...

Guys, gals, and non-binary pals. I present to you, the Leech, Draconia, and Kingscholar families!

Mr and Mrs Leech attract as much attention as their children, who at first may give off a friendly and calm image... But, they are Floyd and Jade's parents, and they are certainly hiding some things. They are an extremely passionate couple, much to the misfortune of their children (who would rather be anywhere else than witnessing their parents exchanging vows of love). Floyd and his mother have very similar personalities, of course Mrs. Leech knows how to mask her real feelings better than her son. And Jade grew up having a similar personality to his father, who knows very well how to get what he wants and who to manipulate to achieve his goals.

Lady Maleficia, certainly a mysterious and emblematic figure who rarely appears publicly these days… Maybe this has something to do with Meleanor's death? She doesn't seem to make contact with anyone other than Malleus or Lilia (with whom she has a complicated relationship) and the Briar Valley Senators.

King and Queen Kingscholar The royal family has many interesting stories, especially when it comes to the youth of the king and queen and their little adventures before they had their children, Falena and Leona Kingscholar. The king is described by many as a kind leader, but who also tends to be strict… In order to maintain peace in the kingdom. The queen has always been described as a determined and courageous woman. Before being crowned queen, she was part of the royal guard and was considered one of the most powerful warriors in the kingdom. Due to his father's illness, Falena had many responsibilities imposed on him from a very early age, and he often felt insecure and uncertain about his decisions… The good thing is that he often had his mother by his side to help and support him in difficult times. Leona has always been more attached to his mother.

And I'm still going to draw pictures of other members of the TWST families, so please bear with me a little… I'm going as fast as I can! I still have some ideas I want to explore with these characters, so maybe you'll see them more often!

Chase The Nightmares Away - Bad Dream Comfort Headcanons

Lilia

First up, we have our lovely bat dad. We all know he’d probably be the perfect person to go to for nightmares.

He’s bat dad for a reason y’all.

When you walk in he’s probably still up, probably playing video games. 

So when you mumble you couldn’t sleep because of nightmares, he’s pulling up a chair, getting you a blanket, and snacks. Everything you need, peepaw has it. 

Wanna talk about what happened? No worries, he’s helped Silver, Sebek, and Malleus many times with their nightmares.

“Little bat? Are you alright? Ah, a nightmare. There’s no need to worry, why don’t you come sit by me and we can play this new video game together? And if you want, you can tell me about what happened.”

Sebek

Sebek, yea..good luck on getting some comfort from him. But he’ll try his best!

He’ll probably be like: Human what are you doing in here? Oh, you had a nightmare? Uhm, why are you here then?

Poor boy would be so confused.

He’ll definitely point out how weak humans are, but then I think when he sees you truly upset, he’d feel it as his duty as a knight to protect “those weaker than him”. At least that’s the excuse he’s playing when we both know the crocodile boy cares in his own tsun-tsun way.

“Human? Why are you here so late? A nightmare? I do suppose a human would be bugged by something like that. Fae are much stronger. O-oh I didn’t mean to make you more upset. Ahem, well, as my duty as a knight in training I’ll do you the service of protecting you. You should be honored. Here, you can borrow my Malleus-Sama plush. I made it myself! It looks just like the young lord, doesn’t it?”

Silver

Ah yes, our sleepy little prince Silver. If this boy is actually awake for once I think he’d do a pretty good job at comforting you.

I can see him as the type to have a lot of blankets so he’d probably give you one to snuggle with as comfort.

I could also see him get some of his little animal friends to comfort you too if you wanted that. 

And if you wanted to talk about your nightmare, he’d be all ears, at least until he’d fall back asleep. But, I bet he’d do his best to fight back the sleepiness as long as possible for you.

“Oh, Prefect. You’re up late. What’s that? You had a nightmare? I’m sorry, not sleeping well is never a good thing. Here, I have some extra blankets, and we can even get some of my animal friends here if you’d like. Don’t worry, it was just a dream, you’re ok now.”

Malleus

Ah, our Housewarden of Diasomnia, the future ruler of Briar Valley. Malleus Draconia. Our sweet draconic prince.

I think he’d care the most but not know whatever the loving hell what to do.

Does this man even get nightmares?

Walks around the Night Raven campus is definitely going to happen the second you tell him what’s wrong. Nothing solves problems better than a nice walk in some fresh air.

He’ll probably even tell you stories about his time in Briar Valley to distract you or even let you play with Gao Gao Dragon-kun!

10/10 best person to go to for comfort aside from Lilia.

“Child of Man? What’s the matter? You seem upset. Oh, a nightmare? Yes, those can be troubling. How about we take a walk outside and if you feel up to it, you can talk about it. It's better than being alone. I'll even let you play with Gao-Gao Dragon-kun.”

Leona

Initially, Leona would start shutting himself off from you.

Suddenly, he’s way more distant and guarded when you’re around.

If you don’t talk to him about it first, and whoever he’s jealous of gets closer to you, that’s when he jumps back in

NOW he’s trying to prove that he’s BETTER than whoever he’s jealous of via leaning against you, buying you things, draping his clothes over you, etc etc.

He WILL NOT communicate his feelings I’m sorry, you’re gonna have to pry it out of him

Azul

For the most part, Azul would act unfazed by someone getting too close to you… at least, on the outside.

Inside? He’s both a mix of angry (at them, not you. Never at you.) and worried he’ll lose you.

Even if you don’t notice it, the twins certainly do.

They know him REALLY well, so they see right through that disguise.

If you don’t notice, the twins will probably hint at it until you catch on.

Either way, once you approach Azul about the situation, he seems… panicked? Like, he will deny feeling jealous for a few minutes.

When he stops denying it, it’s clear he’s holding back tears, not wanting to seem like a fool in front of you.

You assure him you love him, you wouldn’t trade him for the world, and if he’s ever feeling insecure, to please talk to you so you can assure him again.

He REALLY appreciates this, more than he can put into words.

He apologies for his silly concerns, to which you tell him that having worries isn’t silly of him. If it’s bothering him, he should be able to feel safe enough to talk about it.

If it ever happens again, Azul is gonna do his best to talk to you, rather than bottling it up.

Vil

Vil is extremely confident in how much you love him. He wouldn’t be dating you otherwise!

However, sometimes concerns still arise… like now!

He takes notices to how close you are to a friend of yours, and suddenly the worry that maybe he’s not affectionate enough with you crosses his mind.

He’s also a tad jealous that they get your affection and he doesn’t. At least, in that very moment.

It doesn’t take long before he approaches you during your down time, asking if he could tell you something.

He takes your hands in his, admitting he’s just a liiittle jealous of your friend, and asks if there’s something missing in your relationship with him.

You tell him you love him just the way he is, and he doesn’t need to change. You assure him you’re just friends with the person he saw you with, and they’re just a hugger.

He’s relieved at this and offers you a kiss, thanking you for listening to his concerns.

He WILL offer you more hugs though. Better safe than sorry!

Malleus

It is… BLATANTLY obvious when Malleus is jealous.

Not only is Lilia always chuckling under his breath whenever Malleus spots you with your affectionate friends,

But he becomes SUPER possessive over you.

You’ll be talking with your friends, then suddenly BOOM! Malleus hugging you out of nowhere.

He shows up unprompted to your dorm just to snuggle up next to you.

He’s quieter than usual, which makes it easy to conclude he’s in a bad mood.

When asked, he simply responds with “Is my love not enough?”

…Ooooohhhh he’s jealous. That makes a lot more sense.

You squish his cheeks and tell him that YES his love is enough, you just have different relationships with your peers and their affections.

He asks if he needs to be more physically affectionate with you, to which you tell him that you wouldn’t change him. It’s entirely up to him to decide that, to which he promptly decides you’re coming with him to cuddle

He’s still lowkey jealous when he sees others getting too close to you, often appearing and hugging you to remind them to not get too touchy feely with HIS Child of Man, but he trusts you a ton and believes you when you say you love him.

I’m sorry you have sprung me back into my mild interest in Sebek. I’m sorry I have to dump my ideas here

Your recent post has reminded me of how I feel about Sebek and the Dia 3. I might be wrong, because tbh I’m not that good as social situations so if I’m wrong correct me.

So, we know that Dia3 are like a little family, so he’s always somewhat out of place. Like to me, he comes off to Lilia as a “Bauls Grandson/Silvers Friend” and Malleus as “Silvers friend/Guard.” He feels a bit different than how they treat each other.

It’s weird, as he’s, like acknowledged, but not really ever that close to the others like they are to each other.

For Lilia, it feels odd but natural, as it seems like he just really pranks him, but he does, in my opinion, acknowledge him as his own kind of dude, though their relationship isn’t really son father like Silver and Lilia, but he’s still treated (mildly-) like a friend. Like how your friends parents treat you, where they’ll take care of you but you’ll never be as close? It’s a bit weird, because someone (other Sebek Zigvolt blog) mentioned that Lilia might’ve only convinced/was convinced by the fact that Baul is his old friend and Sebek was friends with Silver, and not the fact that Sebek stood out on his own, which would suck for Sebek.

For Malleus, It’s even weirder, but the best I’ll say is it’s like a younger sibling trying to praise the older one that is his idol, even though I’m pretty sure Malleus mainly views Sebek as a guard and Silvers friend, but I can’t make a really big opinion since most interactions are just Sebek praising him. (From what I’ve seen) It just feels like Malleus is close yes, but not really, as he more or less views him as a “younger brothers friend” vibe to me.

Silver is the closest, and to me they’re like brother and younger brother. They’re close, but constantly fight, (it’s one sided lol, Sebek views him as a rival, while Silver is just like “chill.”) and it’s actually kinda sad, because it feels like Sebek tries to be better than him to prove himself, but always loses. (Expect in height. He wins that one.)

On that last point, I think (read somewhere) that he’s a late bloomer, so for some reason, I headcanonned that Sebek is so spiteful, because of Silver always coming before him. Because hear me out, Silver is a human, and Sebek is half, and they lived in a place that despised the both of them. The “shame” he must feel when the human gained his powers and abilities over him while they lived there (I’m pretty sure Silver gained his power when young) because at least Sebek is half fae, and somehow always got beaten by a human. Like imagine how much he got bullied for it over the fact that he’s probably bullied for being mixed. Poor boy.

Anyways thanks for letting me have my thoughts I’ll probably make them all in one blog post later but thanks.

I swear people don't get how much I like Sebek as a character/just Sebek.

What you said sums up so much of what I think is the issue(not really but kinda) with Diasomnia dynamics.

I just want to add on a few more of my little brain worms to this. Sebek treats him being around Malleus like a job, which I think really inhibits how close he can get with Dia 3. They all see eachother as family and treat eachother accordingly, yet Sebek always mentions how he will be/is Malleus' guard.

I feel like it really sets a boundary that Diasomnia don't really try cross. Which is really interesting because there's something to be said about Sebeks insecurities on being half human and feeling less than as a result. So he subconsciously doesn't let the Dia 3 in.

As for the Dia 3 themselves, what you said pretty much sums up my thoughts too :')

Lillia is distant and only took him in due to Baul and treats him warmly but not 'family warm'.

Malleus is nice enough but as you said distanced due to their positions. Which is probably sad for Sebek to watch Silver despite also being a future guard being treated more warmly. I see Malleus as more of an 'older cousin who hangs out with the older kids instead of you' vibe idk.

Silver is nice. However, he doesn't understand what Sebek is feeling so he can't help really. The comparisons between him and Sebek must also drive a really big wedge in the potential for a closer relationship.

Overall, it leads back to the main issue in which Sebek is treated like an outsider by people who are dear to him. Exacerbated by already feeling like an outsider due to being only half fae.

Lastly, my personal closing thoughts, I really dislike when people boil down Sebeks character to 'loud, shouty dude' and say that's why he's not close to Diasomnia. (Also, the wiki insulting Sebek is actually devastating, Sebek support groups need to rectify this for the poor guy).

Notes: this is based on a very fun request I made with Malleus, Leona and Azul where Reader accidentally confessed their feelings to them and instead of facing them and waiting for a reply, they just… “bolts” (as the Anon said lol). So then @gilswifey asked if I could do a part 2 with Jade and I thought, huh why not? 

Jade Leech x g!n reader who runs really fast / headcanons / fluff & comedy / part 2 / use of “you” pronouns

“Our house will be a mushroom farm like this…,” you blurted out. It was a big mistake on your part, considering that the alchemy workshop was so empty that your voice projected better than ever, and above all, Jade had enviable hearing. Especially because he was right next to you. So much so that he took his eyes off the poisonous mushroom he had in hand just to face you;

There were no great excuses to be made, no means of deflecting the subject. The implication that you imagined living together with Jade in the future — and the awareness that the constant presence of mushrooms would be inevitable — was right there, heading for more things. More clear that this would have been to have asked for his hand at that moment;

But you chickened out. Well, you never intended to let him find out your feelings, let alone reveal them in this way. Jade still stared at you for another minute, his heterochromatic eyes going from wide in surprise to slowly relaxing into gentle amusement — mostly from your expression of horror — when…;

... you ran away. Few things really impressed Jade in seventeen years of life, being two years of earthly experience. He could be fascinated by various things, develop curiosity about human habits, and wanting to know different things without further ado. But that was the day he was most taken aback by things. And all this is your work;

You ran out of the workshop faster than a flock of sardines when they spotted a monster whale. Jade congratulated your speed — even though you were out of sight to hear it. Calmly, he got up, put away his newest mushroom in a terrarium and made a little call;

From the point where you were, you had two directions: the outskirts of the Ramshackle or some point near the library, near Main Street. That’s considering you were running in a straight line. A third option would be the Hall of Mirrors region. The Leech’s aquatic predator ability aside, you personally had the advantage of knowing how to run really fast. But Jade had an idea that would save him time;

You thought you were out of danger. Your legs had carried you to the other side of the school, somewhere in the woods near the library. Not a sign of Jade following you. You leaned against a tree to catch your breath, but the fatigue wasn't all that was making you feel bad. It was a mixture of guilt and a certain disappointment that you were really alone after all;

Not for long though. Someone took you in their arms by surprise, putting a frightening distance between you and the ground. When you turned around and saw turquoise hair, you even thought it was Jade... but Floyd’s laugh totally broke your expectations;

“I see you’ve managed to catch a runaway shrimp for me, Floyd. What a good brother you are,” Jade smiled when he met the two of you. Floyd carried you in his arms to the courtyard of the Botanical Garden and dropped you into the arms of his twin — the game was good while it lasted. Floyd had mentioned that Jade would spear him from eating the test shiitake dishes if he looked for you in one area of the school while his brother went in the other side;

A master plan, you had to admit. Although there was still the problem that you had nowhere else to run and hide — not with Jade carefully holding you in his own arms, purposefully not giving you that opportunity anymore;

“I personally don’t understand why you ran away like that. It’s not like your feelings aren’t reciprocated,” Jade said gently. It caught you off guard. The feeling was so clear on your face that the merman had a little chuckle. Jade had a docile smile, something very uncommon to see — especially for how sincere it was. But the truth was that he always had that one smile when you were around him.

| Special notes: not very necessary to the story but I imagine that Floyd was still there when they solved things up and he's like "oh for Ursula, get a room you two! gross! this? right in front of the school facility for everyone to see? disgusting, I'm telling mom" :P while they only smiled to each other bc he's that type of supportive brother lmao |

One small pet peeve I have about Chapter 7 is that it's making Maleficent look like "a victim." This is a personal thing but I always considered the Evil Queen to be Disney's most evil villain, but the title has Maleficent being considered "evil incarnate." And I understand, she has powers and transforms into a dragon. What a cool thing. But on several occasions I feel that content creators who partly work for Disney do not respect that she is an evil being and end up softening her character, either giving her a tragic background or making her a mother. Going back to TWST, the part that bothers me the most is right at the beginning of the chapter, when Yuu dreams about Maleficent and the only option to choose implies that they feel bad for Maleficent for not being invited. And it's like WHAT? Didn't you see that she cursed a baby? Or better yet, why didn't you feel bad for the other villains? And seeing the theories of the most recent update, with the inclusion of the senate and seeing that almost the entire fandom hates them, it makes Maleficent's descendants seem more like victims (which they partly are). Sorry, this is something personal that I wanted to share with someone. But in conclusion, no other medium outside of the original film can well portray Maleficent as the embodiment of evil that she is supposed to be. And yes, I know the Draconia family is not Maleficent but they are still related.

Disclaimer: I’m coming at this from the POV of someone who has no attachment to Maleficent as a character and is frankly confused as to why she’s the Big Bad that Disney chooses to promote as their villainous icon 🤡 so take my opinion with a grain of salt!🧂

To quickly correct something before the discussion: Malleus being a relative or a descendant of Maleficent is NOT canon. It is a popular headcanon, especially during the early days of the TWST fandom when we didn’t have a lot of lore about the Draconia family. From the way Malleus speaks about the Thorn Witch, she is considered a separate ancient entity and not someone he personally knows or has blood ties with.

Knowing that, it somewhat detracts from the points made in this ask 😅 since it seems like the Anon was trying to draw a parallel between Maleficent and Malleus… Conflating Maleficent with Malleus may be the result of mixing up the dreams with the differing mediums and presentations of Maleficent and Malleus in the context of their own works. I feel they can be treated like two entirely separate cases, and with different intentions behind them.

Maleficent has been written as a tragic antihero in the live action movie(s) of the same name. That is one interpretation of her, just as the Descendants Maleficent is much goofier in attitude. They are Disney’s properties and so they are free to twist Maleficent however they wish to suit the circumstances or to chase a modern trend of redemption, even if it’s different than the “mistress of evil” she was introduced as. In my opinion, there is nothing inherently wrong with this (although that doesn’t mean you’re obligated to enjoy or to agree with every iteration of Maleficent or the new direction she’s being led in). This doesn’t automatically make her a “victim” (for lack of a better term) either, she feels more… “girlboss” to me, if that makes sense?? Tragic things do happen to her, but they don’t define Maleficent as an individual (if I recall correctly, she acts on her own and rises up + regains power in spite of humans hating her). I think it’s just a different way to spin a story. However, I can see why maybe this doesn’t bode well to some people who like her for being evil and not for being redeemable.

Malleus is the “final boss” of a gacha game. The intention behind his design is to endear the players to the character so they’re willing to roll for him. That’s why Malleus in particular has a “special” role compared to the other boys, and why they try to establish a friendship with Yuu early on in the main story. He is treated differently in the narrative because of that. We may not necessarily like it or find the method effective, but that’s the design TWST went with. (I’m personally not a fan of this either, it grants Malleus specifically a lot of grace and favoritism that I’m not on board with 😅)

I also want to point out that when the other villains were introduced in Yuu’s dreams, it’s not really in situations that would immediately warrant sympathy. The Queen of Hearts is unreasonably mad, the King of Beasts is plotting against his brother, etc. It’s not that Yuu doesn’t “feel bad” for the others, it’s that the others didn’t give Yuu anything to “feel bad” about right away. For the dream with Maleficent, it’s different: Yuu first learns that she is “unwanted” and THEN she casts her magic. Yuu then fixates on the reason behind Maleficent’s curse (because at this point in the story, we’ve seen 6 cases of how one’s motivations and past fuel one’s actions in the present). The other villains don’t get similar scenes or lines to show off the potential reasoning behind their behaviors (no showing of how the Queen of Heart’s rule benefits her people, no jeering at Scar, etc.) so of course Yuu won’t be as gracious about them.

We should also consider that each of these dreams is prophetic and ties back to the current OB boy’s troubles. In Malleus’s case, loneliness is a huge issue and he’s been Yuu’s “friend” since book 2. These will naturally play into Yuu feeling more sympathy towards Maleficent, who resembles Malleus and is left out like he is. The other OB boys didn’t have this “special” connection, and their issues don’t center so strongly on wanting companionship. If you refer back to Yuu’s dreams of each villain, Yuu’s reactions to each reflect the ongoing dilemma of each boy and their dorm mates, such as wondering why the card soldiers don’t intervene and not understanding why Scar used the methods he did.

That being said, I’m not sure if I agree with the use of “victim” to describe the Draconias. The term’s definition varies by person (and I’m not sure what the asker’s own definition is, so there may be some disagreement here), but personally I see “victim” as a binary. It puts one person in a weak and passive position—with them being the one acted on—and the other person in a position of power—the one doing the acting. It creates an easy “us vs them” narrative. I don’t believe this is the case for any of the TWST characters; to call them “victims” implies a lack of agency to act and a clear good vs evil worldview.

Back to the Draconias. Yes, bad things have happened to them and some of those bad things were the result of the senate’s decisions. That doesn’t make the Draconias (or even Maleficent, in my opinion) “victims”, and certainly not “victims” to the senate alone. There are so many other factors to consider in Malleus being isolated and turning out the way he did. These include, but are not limited to: Maleficia being too busy to spend time with him, his parents being absent, Malleus still managing to meet and interact with Lilia anyway, Malleus himself being so powerful/high status he scares his servants and peers, royals having duties to tend to and thus limited freedoms, previously existing tensions with humans, etc.

TWST does do a lot to make you feel bad for and to pity Malleus. From the moment we first saw him, the “loneliness” of Malleus was a major part of his character. Many factors outside of his control compounded as an unfortunate situation that… wasn’t very conducive for him to grow up feeling normal and loved. It’s not that he was just now made a “victim”, it’s that we’re now getting all the context for why his character is the way it is—and it’s a whole slew of traumas and personal experiences. I would argue the same happens for all the OB boys; this isn’t something exclusive to twisted Maleficent, Malleus. TWST is trying to present these issues with more nuance than the classically evil G7 they were inspired by; the OB boys in general they aren’t defined by their “victimhood, but rather how they respond to and cope with those experiences.

At first, Floyd is confused on why you would want the lights off. Did you just not want to see him during it? That thought had the eel feeling a bit sad. He never thought he was that scary or repulsive.

When he finds out that it is because you're self conscious, he brightens because he has an idea. I feel like Floyd is someone that would want to see his partner during sexy time so he'll just have to prove how beautiful his little shrimpy is to him.

Floyd doesn't really understand what it means to be self conscious so seeing his partner being self conscious confuses him. How could you be so self conscious? If someone else was the reason you thought of yourself as less than drop dead gorgeous, he was going to have a little talk with them. Yes that's it. A talk.

This boi sees no solution better than worshipping everything about you. From your head to your toes, you are the most beautiful human he has ever seen and he won't stop until you see it too.

MALLEUS DRACONIA

Honestly, Malleus is a bit worried about this as he is the type of person who would wanna see his partner's face during intimate moments. He's the romantic type. Awkward but romantic nonetheless.

He asks you why you want them off and that's when you come clean. You're self conscious. It's a little funny to him that you would be. Why would someone as handsome and amazing as you be self conscious? I mean you did catch the attention and affection of the heir apparent of Briar Valley so you have to be eye-catching.

He doesn't really agree with it, but he doesn't want his partner to be upset or uncomfortable so he relents. Whatever his darling wants, they get.

Though that doesn't mean he'll let it be. Despite having the lights off, he absolutely will worship every inch of you that he can. He just wants you to know without a doubt how much he loves you and just how beautiful you are to him.

LEONA KINGSCHOLAR

Lights off? Well he'll grumble as he moves to turn them off but he won't argue with his beloved. He can already tell that you're not going to budge on this, and he doesn't want this to become a fullblown fight.

Of course there's a chance he might be able to see you in the dark being a lion beastman but he doesn't tell you that. He doesn't want to make you too uncomfortable since he could tell that it was because of how self conscious you were.

Lights on or off it doesn't matter as long as he has you and make you feel good. That's all he wants, to keep you by his side and make you happy in any way he can. Because you're the love of his life.

If he can, he'll try to help you through your self consciousness. He's a bit frustrated that you don't see how absolutely perfect you are, and he doesn't care how long it takes but he's going to help you.

You won the dragon's heart, the future king of the Fae's, it's amazing right? It's up to you to take it as sarcasm or not, he has many good qualities as bad ones. From now one you can't go anywhere without him or Sebek, Lilia or Silver.

At first you noticed how people started to avoid you, isolate like you weren't there. Your friends slowly disappearing and never talking to you again. What was happening? It was horrible, you didn't have anyone there for you leading to stay in your room most of the time to try feeling better. The only student that still talked to you was Malleus, rarely Sebek but only to mention his master and Lilia doing the same. One day, tired and sick of all the things that were happening you wrapped your arms around the dragon Fae crying on his shirt. You told him everything keeping him the closest to yourself, you needed love so much. He softly caressed your hair whispering gentle words to make you feel better, it was all his plan and you as a poor lamb was falling in his trap.

"Don't worry child of man, I will be here for you from now on, forever"

Everywhere you go or stay, you can feel a pair of eyes looking at you, never knowing who's those are. Could be Lilia, Sebek or even Silver, ready to tell Malleus everything. Sometimes the gaze is different, cold and harsh, as if that person is going to devour you any moment. Every little movement, breath or word is caught by him, you are his precious human and he needs to know about you. If you try to talk to him about it you are getting nothing else than the silence, looking at you unbothered. It's not like he is going to stop, as a spoiled kid he does whatever he wants and gets what he wishes. He could wake up tomorrow and choose to bite you to taste your blood, leaving a mark so everyone knows that you are his. What are you going to do about it? Nothing, because you can't and words doesn't work with him.

Then you are going to stay in his room, can't return to your old one anymore. All your stuff is there, your clothes in his wardrobe in a side just for you. You can only leave the room with the company of his familiars or him, then you'll immediately return to his room no matter what. You are only his and his alone, this is why he hugs you in his sleep tight as he is going to lose you any moment. Lilia deliveries the lunch and dinner that Sebek cooks, Malleus doesn't wish for you to eat the bat's almost poisoning cooking. Don't hope in those three, if you try to escape they will catch you and immediately warn the Fae. Neither talking with them will work, Malleus gave permission only to Lilia to chat with you. Obviously the conversation is about Malleus and you, he won't mention anything else. You do your homeworks with the dorm leader, you wash with him and you have a very little privacy.

"Did you seriously attempt to escape, (y/n)? I'm giving you all my love and attention, why are you doing such a cruel thing to me? You are hurting me so much.."

Naive as he is, he won't care much about the consequences of his punishment. In fact he will take you in his arms and shower you of his love, whispering how he did it for both and that you will feel better soon. You won't stop loving him, at least he thinks, you are too desperate and without him you can't survive. Malleus makes you find your room full of gifts everyday, name one thing you desire and you'll be immediately satisfied. Your body is full of bites mark made by him, his scent over you while you can only wear his clothes when you aren't at school. You won't leave him, neither death will, you are going to be with Malleus forever with no way to escape.

OH ABSOLUTELY. First of all, Thank you so much!! THat makes me so happy to hear ;;v;; ONTO SHENANIGANS: A LOT if not pretty much all of this falls into non-canon-compliant territory, and I'm only partway through Book 5 so I could either totally guess soimething or completely mess something up, but here are my braincells

Vil and Leona: I LOVE these two. I think they have some of the most fantastic worstie to bestie potential. And in a weird way??? I think Vil is the kind of person Leona needs? Like, Vil can be a little too harsh, and in my personal opinion too much of a perfectionist (Not for the character tho, just if he was a real person xD As a character trait its 10/10 good writing) but the fact that he refuses to stop seeing the potential in Leona??? Thats something that I really think Leona NEEDS. People who are like "What are you talking about? You have the possibility to be so much if you just tried." Like that last part is harsh yeah, but I think Vil really has this... he has this Rook-like ability to believe in the potential of other people in a way that isn't actually as cynical as it comes across. If he learned to work more with Leona than against him, I actually think the two of them would have such a strong power duo potential.

Leona needs to see Vil for the Roses rather than the Thorns. He needs to see more of what Vil is SAYING, where he's coming from rather than just the words themselves. I think if Leona really comprehended how much Vil believed in him, like, ACTUALLY believed in him, i think he would be genuinely moved, genuinely shook and full of wonder that somebody saw so much potential in him, as so much more than being a failure or a freak.

However I think if they actually became friends Epel might have to take a week off for mourning because he could no longer go to Leona to escape the wrath of Vil xD

Idia and Malleus: Okay so starsending started me on this one, I think they would actually really vibe. Idia is an introverted Loner, he has a hard time with high energy people who make a lot of noise. Mallues CAN be a lot, but honestly he tends to... not be. Its more like the A Lot follows him. ei when he interacts with Yuu and essentially just ends up being a nerd. The specific image i've had in my head, is i feel like Idia could play animal crossing with Malleus watching him, and the two of them could vibe for H O U R S. Malleus would make the occasional comment or go on the occasional tangent, but he seems less like he needs people to engage with him sometimes, and sometimes just like he needs people to listen. And Idia isn't actually that bad at engaging with people!! He's got internet friends (lilia lol) which means he does know something about sustaining relationships and talking to people I also think that Malleus would probably find Idia's way of talking fascinating SLDFKJSDLGJSLDJG. As long as he wasn't mocked for not understanding, he'd probably find it downright interesting to listen to Idia explain internet memes from 2010 and talk about the history of Loss. I also think that Idia could really be a safe and quiet spot for malleus when things are hard. I feel like part of Malleus's frustrations, and why we see him run away from Sebek and Silver, despite both of them being family he obviously loves, is that, with the exception of Lilia, Both of them make a BIG DEAL out of things. Silver tends to be quieter and less explosive, but they both do. Sometimes I think Malleus just wants to be alone to process, or not be pestered or questioned. I think Idia could potentially be that safe and quiet spot where he's ready to listen, but not necessarily interested in making a big deal about it. If they became better friends he might not even ask, just offer quiet empathy.

Kalim and Leona: -Spoilers for Leona's Union bday card, since it hasn't released in English yet- OH BOY.... THESE TWO. First of all!!! ANother relationship that I think could do a lot of good for Leona??? Kalim doesn't really need him for anything, but he's a well of low expectation positivity, somebody who I can see dragging Leona out to do things, or even just, once in a while so honestly state the worth he sees in Leona that it causes Leona to stutter and pause. Like, Leona's union bday card mentioning that he'd have Kalim with him on a deserted Island cause people would come ot rescue Kalim....... O U CH??????? There's a running Narrative that Kalim doesn't really see the value in himself, and this would be another person (like Azul) who would contradict that. Leona sees a more cynical version of his value, but its still value all the same. And Leona likes to gripe and groan, but he's adopted like, half the characters who are younger than him, I don't think he's immune to Kalim Al-Asim at ALL. It doesn't help that Leona is already a Tsunderely doting uncle, I can see Kalim triggering the Uncle-Instincts in him sometimes... or a lot. The loud and upbeat disposition Similar to Cheka's wouldn't help. Specifically, because I've thought about these two being friends before, I've always loved this idea of a post book 4 sequence where Kalim like, kind wanders into the greenhouse to find somewhere to cry privately, but he runs into leona napping. Leona doesn't really want to deal with Kalim, so while he's blubbering through his explanation he's just like "Fine you can chill here as long as you're quiet" Kalim accepts... but Leona has beastman hearing, so even what might be considered reasonably quiet is loud to him, and he eventually caves and asks whats up. Just to get Kalim to shut up eventually. I think maybe I had a conclusion or an idea for what advice leona would give kalim, but I don't remember it at the moment, but yeah just. Them :) I think their dynamic could be really interesting.

Malleus and Leona: So ya'll who saw my whumptobers already know I have some bad braincells for these two clowns. I think they are jealous of each other, because they think the other has what they want, they think that they see the other squandering the gifts they've been given, being fools and idiots who don't appreciate what they have. Leona craves being accepted, having the crown, having the power to fix what he sees that is wrong, to actually have and impact in people's lives, to matter and to fit in. Malleus craves normality, he craves to be one of the masses, just another man among many, he doesn't wish for power, and he cares little for the catastrophic effect he can have on other people, he just wants to be invited. He just wants to be included. Leona sees Malleus as having the power to do what matters. Malleus sees Leona as having the gift of Normality and camaraderie. Ultimately they're both miserable where they're at (though not entirely. Leona loves his squad, Malleus loves his family, both of them have things they'd never dare give up.) and they think if they just had what the other had, they would achieve the things they deserve and desire. I think both of them would have to sort through a LOT of emotions if it ever clicked for them just how similar they are. They're of course seeing each other through rose colored glasses. Leona is not an everyman, he's feared by his own family, Malleus is not all powerful, he cannot stop the tick of death. Leona is persecuted for being "less than" his brother, Malleus is held so far above everybody else he can't be reached. This would take some time for both of them to process, but I think once they did there would be a chance for them to become good allies, and potentially even really good friends. THose are my main braincells!! I honestly think that making any of the dorm leaders interact is fantastic food for thought and relationship building. I would love to think over what it'd be like to grow a friendship between Azul and Riddle, or Vil and Malleus. Leona and Azul would be INCREDIBLE and fascinating!!! Like man, there's so much to work with in TWST. I realized this might be a little to the left of your question ^^;; Haha, If you were asking about more like, I guess lighearted headcanons, I'm not sure I have any yet!! But I'm sure with time I totally could :) Writing or playing with TWST characters intimidated me for a bit there, since the quality of the writing of the game was SO GOOD I felt there was no way I could do it justice. Now I feel a lot less intimidated, so i feel like I'm more likely to dig my hands into shenanigans and thoughts.

Azul would be very protective of you and not allow anyone to bully you in any way. He has faced enough of it and doesn't want you to experience it.

He would be strict with you, but only when it comes to education. For the most part, Azul would give you all the freedom you wanted as long as you didn't do anything dangerous.

Romance is NOT allowed. Azul doesn't want you to get involved with anyone, as he knows what the students at NRC are like. Even after he graduates, romance is not allowed until you graduate. Azul wants you to focus on your dreams and be financially independent before dating or having a family.

He doesn't mind you interacting with the first years but will be cautious if you get buddy-buddy with Ace or Deuce. He doesn't trust those two and doesn't want you to get involved in their shinengiens.

If anyone tries to romance you while you are in NRC, Azul's reaction will be to keep a close eye on them.

Dotes on you like there is no tomorrow but also teases you like crazy. He likes to prank you, too, but his pranks are harmless for the most part.

Floyd likes you stroking his head when he is having a bad day. He will never allow you to do this in public, but there is just something about you stroking his hair that helps him feel better. Maybe it's your sisterly affection toward him.

Floyd is much more friendly toward you than Jade, mainly due to his easygoing nature.

If you are calm, Floyd will be chill around you. However, if you have a chaotic personality, he will be competitive with you (unless he is in a bad mood). But the competition will be friendly.

As long as Floyd can spend time with your boyfriend and threaten him, he doesn't care if you want to date someone at NRC. But if you fall for Leona, Malleus, or Azul, he will not be comfortable with it.

He also doesn't mind you spending time with the first years. It's only natural that you spend time with your classmates.

Floyd has one major weakness, your puppy dog eyes. If you want him to do anything, show him your puppy dog eyes. He won't be able to say no.

He is a mix between Azul and Floyd. While Jades dotes on you and cares about you, he is strict. It's not that he wants to control your decisions, but he still wants you to be cautious, especially around the students at NRC.

Jade isn't as strict with your education, but you still need to maintain your grades.

While Floyd is the chill brother, Jade is the dependable brother. If you have any issues or need him for anything, he will gladly lend you an ear or help.

Though he has a better connection with Floyd since they are twins, Jade has a softer spot for you. He knows his twin can take on anyone or anything, but Jade worries about you. However, he doesn't show this openly.

Jade is a bit uncomfortable with you dating, but his ultimate decision on whether you should date or not depends on who you like. Azul is a big no. Men like Leona, Malleus, Ruggie, and Rook - pretty much overly powerful or troublemakers are a big no. Rule of thumb: as long as Jade can keep your boyfriend 'in check,' he doesn't mind you dating.

He doesn't mind you spending time with the first years. In fact, he encourages you to make friends and learn the ways of the land dwellers.

I already replied to this ask about a week ago, but I promised to get back to it when I have headcanons to share, so today’s the day! I feel like some of the things I’m saying in this post are kind of similar to the ones that I mentioned in my previous one, but I tried to elaborate on those if that’s the case. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

So, here are some more spicy LiliMal hcs~

When comparing the way Malleus behaves with Lilia and with other potential lovers, there is a clear difference: he allows Lilia to be a bit more disrespectful to him. Malleus tends to be provoking and teasing in general, but with Lilia he is straight-up bratty sometimes, and Lilia is the only one who is allowed to tame him, to grab him and even to punish him a little bit. It’s because Lilia knows exactly when to stop not to sour Malleus’ mood. So it’s not unusual for him to grab Malleus by his neck, his horns or his tail, to bite his skin as a warning or to even smack his butt (the last one is pretty rare though). Also, Malleus is more clingy with Lilia than with anyone else: to Lilia it’s very obvious that despite being powerful and proud, Malleus still desperately craves his attention.

Sometimes there are situations when they argue very passionately and end up having sex. Usually it happens either because Malleus enters that pouty and capricious state that could only be fixed by Lilia kissing him and pacifying him with affection, or because Lilia gets genuinely irritated by Malleus’ selfish and stubborn nature and just wants to teach him a lesson.

Malleus is very used to his lover being small but agile, and he loves the fact that Lilia’s bites are subtle but stingy, and also quite unpredictable. And being a powerful fae that he is, Malleus could’ve easily healed all the marks that Lilia leaves on him in seconds, but he doesn’t do it all the time. When he is alone (especially when Lilia used to get very busy and disappear for weeks), he likes to admire these marks and smirk to himself, remembering how Lilia was all over him, touching and biting him everywhere like a tiny predator. Malleus’ beautiful pale neck is usually the part that suffers the most from Lilia’s little vampire moments.

There are times when these two get way too passionate and intense. Sometimes they find themselves having sex mid-air, bumping into the ceiling, breaking walls + Malleus starts shooting lightnings at some point just because of how aroused and overwhelmed he is. They completely ruined an abandoned building once… “I am too old to do something this irresponsible” Lilia said that day, with absolutely no remorse in his voice – it was too much fun.

Lilia adores Malleus’ tail. He loves it when Malleus thumps his tail on the ground when he’s a bit irritated due to sexual frustration and impatience. He loves that Malleus is so well-trained by him that he pulls his tail up and exposes the sensitive spots when Lilia touches him. And Lilia knows all those spots even better than Malleus does: he always triggers all the right nerves that make Malleus’ lower half of the body shiver. At the same time, when Malleus is either playing hard to get or just changed his mind about wanting to have sex, he slaps Lilia’s face with his tail and pushes Lilia away with an annoyed expression on his face.

Malleus does suck Lilia’s dick sometimes, but it’s an unusual occasion: he doesn’t really like how it feels, especially when he touches Lilia with his teeth on accident. It kind of hurts his ego a little bit… But it’s all good, because he squeezes Lilia’s dick with his breasts instead, and Lilia loves it even more~

First of all, that video is everything and it’s so Deuce coded I can’t even. Another animal couple I see would be this:

But, don't get me wrong, I would just like to go on the record and say that I've been watching a lot of dog videos and Deuce is 100% a dog: he's sweet, loyal, supportive, loving, protective - the complete package (though his eyes are much cuter). Just saying that he (and Jack) would be at the top of Crewel's list for approved boyfriends.

I mean as deranged as I am for him, I swear I can quit any time (I say as I stuff my shaking hands into my pockets and send multiple pictures of him flying out of my pocket)

He’s a perfect gentleman despite not being raised as one - and no I don’t mean in the literal sense, actual queen Mama Spade definitely raised her son to be chivalrous and kind and respectful to everyone. I mean he wasn’t raised to be a quintessential refined nobleman like Riddle or Malleus or Vil. He’s the only son of a single mother and as far as we know only his maternal grandmother is around (we don’t know if his father left or is dead but I subscribe to the headcanon that he was a jerk that left when Deuce’s mum was pregnant) so he’s never had an older male relative to look up to. Yet he still has all the traits that you’d see in Austen male leads - he's serious and straightforward, sort of soft spoken, he'll restrain his emotions, he's gentle (at most times), he canonically loves sappy romances, he’s got a strong moral compass and he has this sort of soft touch-starved vibe that I can't really explain.

But he's this sweet, considerate wholesome guy who gives it his all in everything despite his background and personality of an adrenaline-fuelled teenage boy. And he's very realistically (and very endearingly) a teenage boy: he's a troublemaker, he's rough around the edges, he makes mistakes even when his heart is in the right place, there are times where he can be slow on the uptake, he's aggressive, he thinks more with his fists and instincts and feelings than with his head, he's emotional and will lash out if he sees injustice, he's not afraid to use dirty tactics, he was literally in a gang, he's impulsive and reckless and literally itching for a fight. But he’s still as much of a man of honour as Mr Darcy or Captain Wentworth. And e's so loving and he's so sincere and he tries so hard I just-

I just think it's really sweet that the same guy who could violently beat up like five guys bigger than him without a thought would instantly turn into a blushing puddle if you so much as held his hand and follow you around with a wide eyed awestruck look like a lost puppy or baby duckling.

I love to say that the reader is his salvation, his angel, his light and it comes from his inner shame at his past. Yes, he's bettering himself to atone for all the hurt his mother went through but he also really wants to prove to be someone worthy of being at your side. You're his apricity and he loves you more than anything.

He’s very sword and shield coded (though, I’d say he’s less of a shield and more of a sword - Jack seems to fit the shield motif more to me). He's very honour bound and duty driven and he gives me the vibes of those loyal knights you get in period stories.

And I guess that's what appeals to me. Bad boys are literally my least favourite trope in modern fiction and I get irked at practically every broody, angsty 'I hate the world' male love interest I come across (usually because the good boy second ml is so much better but my sister says that red flags are much more interesting than boring green flags so...). But Deuce, my man, my deuce box. He's a (former) bad boy that ticks all of the green flag boxes. He's not a bad boy with a hidden soft side, he's a soft boy with a (not-so-hidden) bad side.

He's not rude and snarky, he's kind and respectful. He doesn't have a problem with authority or hate his parents, one of his main character traits is his healthy love for his mother and he has a high opinion of his upperclassmen and the adults around him and he takes his studies seriously even when he's not good at them. He doesn't hide behind an arrogant facade, he's genuine and sincere to everyone he meets. Yes, he has an innate attraction for violence but instead of acting on it, he spends his time sating his love for adrenaline by speeding along on his magical wheel and joining the most athletic club in the school. He wouldn't tease you for your interests, you could spend hours babbling about your rock collection and he'd be completely rapt.

He's like the perfect dichotomy of the bad boy trope and the wholesome cinnamon roll good boy trope. Like one second he and you are engaged in the 'no you're cuter' or 'no you hang up' cycle on the phone and the next second your arms are wrapped around his torso and your wearing his leather jacket as he does the akira slide on his magical wheel.

Ruggie and Azul and Vil are loving it a bit too much lol

Nothing happened for a while and EVERYONE was collectively equally flustered and shy about the fact they love the same guy, some where holding back and giving up for others while others just didn't know how to act with these feelings

Meanwhile Kalim knew he liked them all just didn't see a issue of it until his family pressured him to think about the line of brides they picked out for him

He kept thinking back on everything and decided he was just gonna date someone from NRC to get them off his back

Ace's freckles were so cute

Rook's view of beauty and his strong loyalty was impressive and hot lets be honest for him and the laughter they share is treasure

Idia's unique beauty and speech makes him curious, even more with how much he cares for his brother dearly

Malleus' curiously and fascination of everything and everyone was a selling point alongside his kind soft nature

And Lilia's humor, his style, his loyalty and bravery saves him from a sad day when no one else could help him

WHY WAS HE IN A SCHOOL FULL OF BEAUTIFUL AND PERECT MEN AND BABES!?!

It finally came to light when Kalim finally broke during school and hid in Scarabia for almost a week, not even Jamil could convince him to come out which was when alarms starting going off for the servant boy

Jamil finally informed the other dorm leaders and those who ask Kalim seems to not be feeling well and now everyone's worried for Kalim and all go to see him in Scarabia.

EVEN IDIA WENT OUT OF HIS HOME TO CHECK ON HIM!

Kalim's denying hard of the reason until Jamil, through push and shove, made him confess by ordering the truth with Ruggie's power's help keeping him still

Kalim tearfully confessed, crying harder as he vent outside Snake's Whisper and sobbed about his feelings for them all soon after

Everyone was like "You like him..? Wait me? Wait what-" at first until Jamil wiped Kalim's face with a tissue and soothed him and then Silver piped up he liked Kalim back

This soon started a string after Sebek got jealous and confessed too which made Ace jealous and yeah you get the picture everyone said they liked Kalim back and Kalim was growing more and more red

Everyone basically left alone for the rest of the week to decide what he wants to do

No one slept that week not even Silver as they contemplated what'll happen and fearing the friendship of Kalim and the others will be ruined

Riddle held a secret late night meeting, first time he broke a rule in a while, with Trey, Cater, Ace, and Deuce and they chatted a bit before Riddle confessed saying he's willing to abandoned his feelings if that means they are happy

Leona, Ruggie, and Jack were a bit tense but Jack sat them down and talked in which Leona said he wouldn't be shocked if Kalim preferred someone else

Ocavinelle were shocked to see the Leech Twins and Azul argue one night about the other being selfish and soon all exclaimed "Kalim wouldn't want a ugly octopus/crazy eel/forgotten one like me!" which shuts them up and even Floyd apologizes for fighting with them

Jamil did so much to not let the idea of Kalim loving others hurt him. He accepted since his first realization of his feelings won't be good but he can't help but be angry and sad about the idea Kalim was hurting

Epel was very open about voicing how he feels about the situation. Him, Rook, and Vil were really showing their ugly flaws during some nights when they fought over A) I deserve him more and B) You're a coward to give up

Idia just locked down most. He accepted he was no where near the top three picks for perfect boyfriend for Kalim but as those hours ticked he slowly felt sick as he couldn't stop seeing Kalim smiling at him

Draconia, similar to Savanaclaw, was tense for a while. But like Heartslabyul, they hosted a secret meeting to discuss the options before them when they kind of got emotional with jealous emotions than sadness about what they were being like and huddling close like they used to back in the days

Then one day Kalim returned to physical classes. He started helping with Jamil's chores to make it easier for him, and everyone else was very easing back and just being good friends and not pushing him to give a verdict yet

This soon led to Kalim asking them to meet in Scarabia for a party which once everyone else hit the hay/left he confessed properly to them all including the things I mentioned above and in the end mentioned he likes them all the same and can't decide so he requested they all date each other to see what happens

There was some objections (mostly Jamil 'cuz "what would your family think'') but pretty much everyone soon agreed to try it out and will accept Kalim's choice if he decides differently (please send me a ask on their dates PLEASE DAMN THE LIMIT!)

This happened with Riddle one karaoke date ay Scarabia for all with Kalim recording (I like to hc he had a great voice)

Kalim was heart broken when he was still forced to find a bride despite loving so many, he fell deep into depression and the next concert sang this

Neige and Chenya didn't join until MUCH later due to them finding Kalim pretty and Kalim in turn asked them out, things got used for them right away

Vil and Neige sang this after catching one of this girls sent by his family (Vil being Jade and Neige being Cat)

LOTS OF CUDDLES

Jamil was the hardest to accept this change but soon grew as he saw how much the others mattered to them, since they also helped him in so many ways

Kalim uses Oasis Maker a lot for his partners, especially Floyd and Jade

Chenya gets so much pets from Kalim and food for Jamil lol

Excuse me, could you please make headcanons about the reader inviting Malleus, Lilia, Silver and Sebek over to their house in their world to watch Raya and the Last Dragon with them? If you haven't seen it, feel free to watch it before you can get started on the headcanons. Bonus points if they took the movie as inspiration for their next costume for next Halloween since it's inspired by Southeast Asia as Diasomnia's previous Halloween costume is inspired by Mulan (China/East Asia).

I had to watch it before I could write this, and now I’m wondering if it’s even possible for Disney to have a character with two parents that actually love each other, or are alive at the very least.

Malleus Draconia

He finds the film quite confusing, but funny at the same time. Usually, his land was filled with fae of all sorts, so being a dragon fae didn’t really mean anything besides the fact that he was larger and stronger than the others. He wasn’t that valuable because of his dragon form. He was valuable because he was the sole heir of the Royal Family.

He sees the close connection between humanity and dragon kind, and he wishes that the Briar Valley could be unified in the same fashion. Unfortunately, it isn’t as easy as Raya makes it seem. Diplomatic affairs were exceedingly complicated. (I mean, if y’all got married… then that would make it so much easier)

He notes the fact that he had drawn inspiration from the movie. He thinks you should dress as Raya when that happens because you care for the future and union of all the dormitories of NRC, and that sounds exactly like the hero of the film. He will definitely see if he can recreate the Sisudatu. 

Lilia Vanrouge

He is dying of laughter at how much Sisu reminds him of how naive Malleus was when he was just a hatchling. Other than that, he finds it quite adorable. It was intriguing to see other takes on what dragons were capable of and looked like.

He also sees the close connection between humanity and fae (dragon) kind. His family (you and Silver) were proof that the two could be united. NRC was proof of that, actually. It might be worth convincing Queen Maleficia into considering that as a possibility.

He was intrigued by the different fashion styles, and realized that there were indeed 5 of you, just enough to portray each of the 5 regions. He will most definitely pitch it as an idea for next Halloween. He knows that they would most likely accept it, he just needed to come up with an idea on how to make a dragon because the dragon from the movie is much different than the type of dragon that Malleus is.

Silver

He tried his hardest to stay awake, and he beat his record by a few seconds… He made it 5 minutes into the movie before he passed out. He felt so bad afterward, but you understood that being one of Malleus’ knights could be absolutely draining. You did get a bunch of pictures that you definitely sent to Lilia.

Since he fell asleep, he wasn’t able to see most of the film. He was able to see that Raya loved dragons, which kind of reminded him of himself when he was younger. When he was a small child, his only dream was to become a knight of Lord Malleus.

He does like the different styles of clothing per the different nations. He might want to base his dorm’s Halloween decorations and costumes off of the film. You can’t tell me that he wouldn’t look absolutely gorgeous in the Heart Tribe clothing. 

Sebek Zigvolt

This could go one of two ways: he sits upright like a plank as he watches the movie, or he yells about how Waka-sama is much better than Sisu. You don’t get any in between moments. I’m sorry, Sebek simps. Actually, if you fall asleep on him, that is the only way to get him to relax.

Younger Raya reminded him of his present self. He is a huge supporter in whatever Malleus does, so he kind of relates to the heroine when she goes all fangirl about Sisu. However, I would say that he didn’t really enjoy the film. He’s just a guy that prefers books (if the legend was in the library, he’d be a bit more excited).

He does think that the styles of clothing that differ from tribe to tribe are at least a tad appealing to him. More specifically, the Spine Tribe clothing. He’s a buffer man, so he would probably wear the outfit with pride. It makes him feel like one of those rough-and-tough warriors from the film. He definitely presents it as an idea for Diasomnia Halloween.

Okay, so I've seen a few people play around with different dorm allocations. For Sebek, I've already explored Ramshackle. What about the other dorms?

Heartslabyul- hear me out. Sebek would THRIVE in heartslabyul. Like???? The whole focus is following rules, Sebek would probably be delighted by how clear cut the expectations are?

If we're talking about sticking to the original plot... Sebek could still reasonably fill in for Ace. Like maybe not punching Riddle but after realising how strict and unfair the rules are, Sebek would be critical in his loud Sebek way. So Riddles Overblot could still reasonably happen. Also, I'm pretty sure it's canon that Sebek admires Riddle as a senior (for his grades and manner I think but dont quote me) so seeing him be all tryrant-y would make him feel betrayed.

Riddle would also like Sebek, like 'a first year who doesn't break all my rules?? Is in my club??? And LISTENS to me?????'

Savanaclaw- This one might be a bit more tenuous but still possible. Like, Sebek is pretty strong, he'd fit in. Maybe the other dorm members would be wary at first because he's Malleus' retainer. However, come on, if any dorm would understand Sebeks loud brand of Sebek it's Savanaclaw. Half the words out of the people in that dorm are yelled.

Leona would also be similarly put off by having Sebek around but he'd probably warm up to him? Like a stray cat that you fed once and keeps coming back. With this one, Sebek would definitely be able to play Jacks role in the overblot. Like cheating and causing harm against wakasama!?!?!?!? Not on his watch. After the Overblot it would be awkward between them but they'd get over it. (Leona planning to steal Malleus' loyal retainer for himself lowkey)

As for Ruggie, he'd probably make use of Sebeks earnest nature and get him to help with tasks around Savanaclaw or tasks to do with Leona. (Lowkey that friendship would be kinda cute somehow???? Like Ruggie and Sebek trading tips on getting Leona out of bed??)

Octavinelle- had to think for a bit about this one as canonically there is no octavinelle first year that plays a role in the story. However, considering Sebek would probably not be expecting to be sorted into Octavinelle at all maybe he'd fade a bit into the background. Maybe Azul would be interested in having a deal with Malleus' retainer but quickly lost interest because of how straightforward and blunt Sebek was. Maybe getting closer with his seniors would happen more during the little photo hunt.

Sebek probably wouldn't approve of the contracts and would help out the first years a bit causing tensions between him and his seniors and leading him to be in the overblot battle. Maybe after the battle Azul begins talking with his employees better and getting to know Sebek a bit better. My personal headcanon is that Sebek can cook quite well, so he'd work kitchen duty since waiter duty wouldn't be a perfect fit.

As for the twins, Floyd would've been interested in the loud Sebek but lost interest due to how strict Sebek was. He occasionally teases Sebek but no more than anyone else. As for Jade, I think he'd be the senior Sebek gets along with the best. Like Sebek would hear about Jades passion for mushrooms and feel kinship because of his passion for protecting Malleus???(special interest buddies?!?!) So instead of Riddles club he'd joing Jades club and they'd fo hiking together leading to a closer relationship.

Pomefiore- Okay. As for Pomefiore.... yes! First of all, Pomefiore also has explicit rules and expectations on what to do, Sebek would maybe hit a stumbling block with the beauty aspect but would ultimately learn how to find beauty in both his fae and human side in Pomefiore. He'd also expand his style and taste to range from things that aren't Malleus and the diasomnia 3 focused. He already was outed as knowing obscure operas so he would thrive in the dorm of drama kids.

As for relationships with Vil and Rook. Pretty good most likely! Vil appreciates hard work and dedication and Sebek has that in spades. He might not fully like how loud Sebek can be but he'd probably end up like an exasperated mother saying 'inside voices' all the time. Sebek would definitely be a favourite first year!

With Rook...well....Sebeks half-fae. Rook would be interested for sure. Also, Rook would help Sebek find beauty in the human aspects of himself also. Also, Rook could teach Sebek the bow and arrow since hes already trained in other stuff, no?

Scarabia- As for Scarabia I don't have much to say? I don't think he'd end up there. If he did though he would probably also blend into the background? Maybe helping Jamil out with tasks and other stuff. Otherwise, I don't really see Sebek in Scarabia sorry :(

Ignihyde-I also can't see Sebek in Ignihyde? Maybe Sebek ends up appreciating the engineering of Ignihyde and begins to involve himself more. There's not a lot of opportunities for him to play video games so maybe his friendship with the Shroud brothers could be based on them introducing him to video games? Eventually they become fond of the loud first year that somehow got sorted into their dorm.

Do you have any headcanons for rollo and malleus?

I don't have a list prepared or anything, but I can ramble for a while. I'm guessing this refers to the game universe, so I'll focus on that. I'm also going to divide it into a few sections. To no one's surprise, it's very mallerollo centric.

Loneliness

While I think Rollo would dote on children, I also think that he might avoid them. Especially boys that remind him of Jehan. He may spurn them entirely just to avoid the potential loss. It could be why he isolates himself in general, both as a kind of self-inflicted punishment and as a way to protect himself. 

Rollo himself isn't lonely, though. He gets plenty of social interaction at school and even heads the student council. Sure, he isn't close to anyone, but some don't crave that. And people really seem to love him regardless. They simply aren't "good enough" for him, though. They're stupid, they're magic-drunk mages, they don't see the world as it is, unlike Rollo. But deep down, he must want someone to tell him that what happened to Jehan wasn't his fault well enough that he could believe them. His parents may have told him this, but he doesn't take them at their word. What do they know, they didn't see it happen. What does anyone know? But Malleus is such an authority on magic, he understands it better than most anyone alive. Maybe he's believable. Maybe.

As far as I recall, Malleus doesn't initially feel lonely in the story. He's very close to Lilia and decently close to Silver and Sebek. But the potential loss of Lilia is too much for him. He needs someone to cling to, someone he knows will be there for him. Part of him knows Lilia can't be this person--even when he was a child, Lilia would travel around and had things to do. And, more recently, he started raising Silver. The fact that Lilia is probably his favorite person, while Lilia (from Malleus' perspective) may not actually put Malleus "first," probably bothers him. I imagine it's something he's keenly aware of. Anyone that engages him romantically is taking a huge risk tbh.

Malleus wants someone he can rely on and, ideally, someone who loves him the most out of anyone else in their life. Rollo lost Jehan. He has little interest in his parents or his classmates. In the end, he's alone... like Malleus is afraid of being. But because he's alone, there's no one he can put above Malleus. Well, no one alive, anyway.

Sexuality

Rollo, naturally, is sexually repressed. He's the type that gets uncomfortable around naked statues and will cover artwork of topless ladies when they pop up in a history textbook. The moment he met Malleus, he lusted after him, but this manifested as disgust and anger since he couldn't (can't) admit it to himself. Plus there's a taboo element there. Not only are they both men, but Malleus is a fae and one of the most powerful mages alive. He practically is an embodiment of magic, something that Rollo sees as a temptation to weak-willed mages. And by framing him that way, he can't help but think of Malleus as enticing.

I have no doubt in my mind that Malleus was keenly interested in Rollo from the getgo, if only because of the fact that he represented the invitation and he was the host. When Rollo revealed his plan and opened up a fucking trap door beneath the NRC boys, that interest turned hostile. It slowly shifted to a sort of respect and a bit of fear over the course of the event. Because Rollo is the only human to challenge Malleus, he is the closest thing to an equal he might have that's around. For a man who has always had immense power, this intrigues him. Rollo is dangerous, therefore, he is interesting.

I'm pretty sure both are bi. If Rollo was a woman, Malleus would still be interested in him and Rollo would probably be extremely weird about a lady Malleus. I figure fae culture may be more lax about sexuality if the Lilia thing in chapter 7 is interpreted a certain way. As for Rollo, well, he seems to me like he would be swamped with temptations like all the time. He definitely categorizes women into either Madonnas or whores. Probably does it to men, too, regardless of whether or not they're actually virgins. VP is pure, ultimately nonsexual, and also not very interesting to Rollo, while Malleus is a terrible, awful whore mage he can't get out of his head.

Miscellaneous

Rollo enjoys being both the big and the little spoon. As the big spoon, he gets to bury his face in Malleus' hair and smell him. The only issue is watching out for those horns.

Malleus is more vanilla than Rollo, but he loves getting a reaction out of him, so he leans into whatever gets Rollo going.

Rollo specifically eats grapes with the seeds in them. If he's feeling adventurous, he'll eat green grapes for lunch, but he usually regrets doing so. Just isn't right.

Malleus likes to give gifts because it reminds him of how Lilia would always bring him back a souvenir from his travels (and convey that he was thinking of him).

Rollo sometimes eyes attractive people in public without realizing he's doing it. If Malleus catches him, he'll sulk for days.

Rollo is strict with himself because he has a feeling that he'll fall into excess. And he probably would. Sex, alcohol, whatever, but especially sex. But if he doesn't end up with Malleus, he'll eventually amass an unpleasantly large collection of nude magazines. He might even go cruising somewhere...
