I have started to write again although for another fandom which will give me some challenges but I can't wait to finish the first chapter and post it on here again. In the meantime, please don't mind me posting old stuff.

Please note that this has been written before Scarabia chapter came out in Japan and I wrote this based on fan translations as the official English app wasn't released yet.

Azul is having a big crush on you but is having a hard time getting his feelings across.

It hasn’t been long since Azul realized how he felt about you but ever since then, he couldn’t keep acting the way he usually does around you. He just doesn’t know how to make you notice his feelings for you without him having to directly say so. But even if he knew, he seemed to be unwillingly more…clumsy, so to speak, when you were with him. His eloquent manner turned into rushed speech and awkward behavior. Just yesterday when he was trying to explain to you how to correctly create that potion you were given as homework, you got so close to him, he felt your hair tickling his neck. This totally fried his brain, he just had a blackout and was stumbling over his words like Idia. This wasn’t like him but being near you made him surprisingly nervous to the point his mask of self-confidence fell off.

The door to his office opened with a loud ‘thud’. And there you are, running right towards him with your stupidly cute grin which makes the butterflies in his stomach swirl around like a hurricane. Trying to calm himself, he looks at his paperwork, avoiding your gaze but questioning you, “What brings you here at this late hour? You know you should go to bed early to avoid being sleepy during school hours or do you intend to follow Leona’s poor example?”. Not giving away the happiness dwelling inside him for you wanting to see him so late at night.

“I won the tickets to the musical remake of “The Little Mermaid”!! Can you believe it?”, you exclaim in excitement. You came to see him personally just to let him know something you could have told him via text message or tomorrow at school? Could it be that Jade and Floyd were right that you were fond of him?…No, he can’t cloud his judgment just because he wishes that you feel the same. There it is again, he doesn’t know what you want from him, how he is supposed to react, what to say to you. He wants you to know how happy he is for you, knowing just how much you wanted those tickets. But he has never liked anyone before, much less a human from another world. How is he supposed to know what to do in these situations? You are truly devilish, driving him insane like that.

He did not visibly react to what you just said, not even looking up from his sheet of paper lying before him on the office desk. This made you start to wonder if he fell asleep, knowing thanks to Leona just how fast some people are able to doze off. Azul’s long bangs made it so you couldn’t really see his facial expression. Coming up with an idea to wake him or get any kind of reaction out of him, you get close enough to squish his cheek.

Azul suddenly jerked up and cried with a slightly tinted red on his cheeks and ears, “Ah Goddammit! You are impossible! You don’t know what you are doing to me, acting all cute, making my heart race just with the simplest of touch. How am I supposed to react to this? I wish you would know what it’s like being in love with you!”

Realizing too late that he just indirectly confessed his love to you, you are now met with a terrified Azul, shaking, ears, nose, cheeks and the back of his neck colored an even deeper shade of red. He stumbles over his words, stammering incomprehensible.

You, feeling the same towards him, take the initiative and ask him if you both want to watch the musical together as your first date since you like him too and would love to be his significant other.

Azul is perplexed, asking if you are joking. He can’t wrap his head around the fact, someone, much less you of all people would love someone such as himself. But when you confirm that you have been feeling the same way about him with a loving look on your face, he bursts into happy laughter. Hugging you tightly, he tells you how silly he feels now for having been so overdramatic and worrying himself.

However, you know you can count on him continuing to be a dork who doesn’t know how to act around you, especially now that you are dating. Instead, you let him stay in blissful ignorance for now. After all, his dorkiness and more shy side is part of his irresistible charm and you wouldn’t want to have it any other way.

OKAY OKAY SO I HAVE LIKE 2 SETS BUT I'LL MENTION MORE THE FIRST SET. The 2nd set is a WIP rewrite AU where I wanted to look at the world differently but I made a new cast so I didn't mess with the original cast since I like them so much.

But uh for the main set that's just random OCs I did a lot of digging and research on em. I have a few examples of this in what my IRL friends called "nutrition labels". The bios shown are directly based on the bios in TWST itself! Although the bios have since been edited a tad on some details and I'm always a bit hesitant to share bios anyway whoops

Not all of my OCs are very finished but the more finished ones (identified by who they're twisted from) are Zira (Blanc Sidney), The Spinning Wheel (Thorley Stringer), Duke of Weselton (Francis Reyner), The Enchantress (Rhodes Blanchflower), and my MC OC (Alyx Aaron)!! There's several with no details aside from a planned twisted from character too.

Of all my already-made TWST characters, Thorley is the only one making it to the rewrite/remake/AU (what do I call it) version being based a main part in the original movie for the dorm.

Notably, because I couldn't really think of anything as a random inspiration, I happen to have no random Scarabia OCs. Also, none of these guys have a plot or story since they're just made to exist in the world. And the only one that really is made to interact with any canon characters is Blanc who, being based on Zira, has a crush on Leona. Blanc L though I can't ever see it being reciprocated so bro's bitchless.

That's all I have to share I think but the most important thing to leave with I think is that I put too much thought into the details of each TWST OC. Best example is that one birthday is the day a book about the twisted character released and the month the original book the movie was based on got published.

Something I never got about TWST? Why aren't Neige and Vil stepbrothers? It seems like an extremely obvious writing choice that would've fixed at least some of the writing issues with Pomefiore. I mean...

Align Vil more with the Evil Queen.

Make Vil's rivalry a lot more personal and give it more weight.

Help to explain why Vil's so frustrated with Neige outside of him getting the parts that he wants. If that was the case, then Vil might be still bitter about his father marrying another woman with a son that he doesn't like. Vil might still try to give out the olive branch to Neige for his father's sake, but even then he still feels frustrated since Neige still irritates him due to everyone seeming to always adore him while his efforts are ignored. Deep down, Vil might feel like Neige is stealing his father's love and affection, even if he feels childish for even thinking that.

It would make Vil poisoning Neige have a lot more impact. Vil poisoning Neige is wrong either way. Let's face it. Poisoning family is a lot more shocking than doing the same to a guy you used to be coworkers with.

It's still something that baffles me. While it might've been to try something different, the game struggled to make the Japanese audience sympathetic towards Neige even after that half assed explanation in the next arc, so it's not like trying to remake the wheel worked for it anyways. Sometimes the most obvious option is the best one.

(I like that idea of them being stepsiblings, though I would think it would work better with a story with Trein given he's a widow. I guess she might be saving that up for a Cinderella character. But I do think having them related, step siblings or cousins could have worked too.

(If I can take a guess it's that she wants to keep Vil away from being too much like the Evil Queen. If he dove that deeply into her story it would make him really really unlikable. And my guess is that she wanted Vil to be more in line with the Disney Villian Assitants that you see at the park in Tokyo Disney than actually being a villian outright. Now I do agree that she could have dived more into making his goal against him to be more inline with what the Queen wanted, maybe making Neige younger than Vil and deal with how older Idols have to branch out in Japan because of the whole culture around that and age.)

(Regarding the rivalry and it's weight.I think it certainly would have pushed for certain things in the story, and yes gave it more weight. I wonder if she could pull it off though. I think if they were stepsiblings it could lead to a moment of accpence between them, but it's harder to accept someone who isn't related I think. Now I'm just thinking of the two of them wearing a Get along sweater.)

(Could be an interesting take on the situation if there was some issues with Vil thinking his father was giving favoritism to Neige. I suppose she could use what she's doing now with the two Ciel's with this. Though I'm wondering if Vil would be seen more in the wrong then. I mean, part of the issue with Vil is that, unlike Leona, he has right points, but makes them in some cases in the wrong way. If that makes sense. But then that also brings up, why is Neige connected to the dwarfs?)

(Agreed abotu the impact being more if they were related. Though one could argue poisoning family is more likely than coworkers because coworkers you don't live with so the motive behind it is a bit more surprising vs. doing the same to your annoying stepsibling.)

(I'll be honest, I can only guess because Yana can't delve deeply into Neige's past. Of course most will be mad at Neige because we're seeing how hard Vil is struggling, we're not seeing the struggle of Neige. If we get that. Like showing where he has to work twice as hard as Vil because he has no connections like Vil did, or has to constantly deal with people trying to get him to dump the dwarfs, or even some other darker aspects of the idol culture slipped in there, I think more people would be more understanding for Neige.

I do hope if the game gets the anime it's supposed to get, we will see more about Neige to showcase that Vil's feelings for him are mistaken in certain aspects. That he has to fight just as hard as Vil and that, unlike Vil who can kind of step away from doing things, Neige doesn't have that right because he has no additonal income.

I'm praying we get more directly with the RSA characters at some point so that fans can see these boys over on the other side are struggling too.

Rielle wants to live out of the sea like Azul can, but he has to constantly go back and has a father who is less than cool with him going to surface.

Neige having to always deal with people giving him pity parts or other things, and him having to take roles he doesn't like to support the 8 of them. Having to constantly work and not all the money going to him, and not getting the same breaks that Vil has. Yet is determined to keep going so that he can eventually sing with Vil because he respects him so much.

Chen'ya dealing with the issue of being so strange and being a beastman living in a place where there's probably not a ton of them. Maybe his own guilt over Riddle's situation.

Hell you can do a shit ton with Alice and a sister that wants him to be a certain way like Riddle but not in abusive way. Kalim's royal cousin having to live up to what Aladdin managed to accomplish. Megara or Hercs counter part not being able to be seen for his brains over his brawn…etc.)

Deuce groaned as he rested his head on the table of the library, Ace laughed as the first years huddled together. They had all agreed to try and study for their exams together; so far, Jack and Sebek were doing the best followed closely by their resident prefect. Said prefect giggled softly at Deuce's peril, patting his head. He flushed and refused to look at them, trying to read his notes again. They chuckled and slid their notebook down to him, offering it up for him to study. He nodded to them, thanking them quietly. He tried to ignore Ace's obvious smirking, since the other Heartslabyul student was painfully aware of Deuce's crush on the prefect. He glanced to the side, watching them try and explain another alchemy concept to Epel. He felt his heart clench a bit as the prefect pat Epel's head, the other freshman squeaking in surprise. He wanted more of their attention, but he knew he had to focus on becoming the honors student his mother deserved. Then maybe he could properly support and provide for them.

He resigned himself to studying their notes as opposed to the, eyes scanning over their writing as he tried to memorize the shape of every letter.

Jack Howl: Solution for Jealousy

Jack sighed in annoyance as he watched the prefect skitter around Leona. They had been nervously approaching him to try and talk to him for about a week now. He didn't really know why, but he had the sinking feeling they wanted to ask the lion on a date. Jack sighed again at the thought, his nails digging into his palm as he clenched his fist. He didn't have any right to be upset. They were his friend and they didn't owe him anything. And yet here he was, cowardly cheering on their misfortune from the sidelines. He hoped with all his heart that Leona rejected them, that they came running to him for support. That they might see that he could be everything and anything they needed. He couldn't bring himself to act on his feelings, burring them deep under a layer of platonic concerns and snide remakes about Leona. The prefect always laughed along and agreed; Jack couldn't understand if they really liked the lion man or not. It didn't matter, really.

Regardless of what happened, he found himself wishing and hoping for a change of heart, for them to fall over themself exclaiming that their true affections lay with im.

Jade Leech: Curses

Jade's sharp eyes flickered from one student to the next, looking for the familiar figure of his favorite prefect. They grinned as they made their way to him, grabbing his sleeve and pulling him along to the board. They grinned and pointed to their name, high on the list of exam scores. He couldn't focus on their words as they exclaimed their excitement, instead staring into their sparkling eyes. He found himself unable to focus on anything but them when they were around, their very presence a distraction. He had fumbled many a drink when working in the lounge because they'd said something to him. He didn't understand why he was so enamored with them, but he decided to try and go along with the ride for now. Their eyes canned over his face as they awaited his response. He chuckled and congratulated them, watching them flush and preen over the soft praise. Jade took their hand and offered them a drink the next time they visited him at work. They laughed and followed him down the hall towards their next class, agreeing to meet him after classes were over. He waved to them and continued on his way, his thoughts clouded and swirling.

It was only once he was in his classroom, sitting alone near the back of the room so he could focus, when he fully grasped that he was completely and utterly in love with them.

Jamil Viper: Unworthy of Your Love

Jamil had never considered himself particularly occupied with the opinions of others. He knew he was a servant, someone considered lowly compared to Kalim and others at NRC. He couldn't afford to let it bother him, not when he constantly had to babysit Kalim. He found his eyes lingering on the prefect of Ramshackle Dorm every time he did, though. He wanted them to see him, to see how reliable he was and how much he could provide for them. He may be a servant, but he was capable and determined. He knew that often others thought he was unworthy of attending the academy, or that he only got in because of Kalim. He hated it, resented it when others questioned his abilities. He hadn't felt such anger at it until recently, when a Scarabia student had questioned him in front of the prefect. White-hot fury flowed through his veins as he reminded the student of his place as vide dorm leader. After the student scurried off, he saw the prefect giving him a shy wave and a thumbs up. He inhaled sharply and smiled back as softly as he could. He wanted them to see his softer side, not his anger or his resentment towards his treatment.

They were the only judgement that mattered, the only one who could tell him his worth and have him believe it.

Epel Felmier: Friday Night

Epel didn't really know when he first fell in love with them, but he knew when he realized it. He'd been writing a letter to his grandmother and realized that more than half the letter was dedicated to the prefect, his new and closest friend. He sent the letter anyway, receiving a teasing response from his grandmother about meeting her future grandchild-in-law as soon as possible. Epel's entire face had burned every time he saw the prefect after that. The letter's implications had been burned into his brain, forever circling ever time he saw them. The prefect wad kind and smart and had-working; why not love them, he thought. He slowly tried to start showing off to them. Whenever he got a good score on an exam, he showed them. Whenever he made a particularly lovely apple carving, he gave it to them. He loved the attention they'd lavish onto him, his face stained red as his smile widened. Eventually he realized that he may have played into the roll of 'little brother' and sought to correct that behavior. Instead he tried to come off as cooler and more mature that he did before. the prefect laughed and praised him all the same.

He'd often go to bed frowning to himself over it, wondering if maybe they'd ever see him the way he wanted them to; not as a cute little brother, but as a capable man and partner for them.

Malleus Draconia: A Thousand and One Nights

Malleus had always loved reading, the stories and novels that surrounded him taking him away from the real world off to imaginary lands. Places he could fit in or be someone without people fearing him based on their preconceived notions of him. He yearned to turn those stories into a reality, to find people who saw him as himself and nothing more or less. He wanted to find someone special, to take their hand in his and see them smiling up at him lovingly. He thought maybe the prefect of the run-down dorm would be the one; he wasn't entirely wrong. They didn't run from him or seem scared at all. In fact, they had no clue who he was and he relished in it. However, they also hadn't fallen in love with him yet as far as he could tell. They were very strange and unreadable, and he felt himself being more and more drawn to them. He could feel his heart swell every time they grinned at him or showed him a test they did well on. Malleus oftentimes found himself wondering if there was more he could do to keep them at his side; perhaps if they knew who he was they'd run. He hoped not, already knowing his heart might not survive their betrayal.

He wanted to write the rest of his story with them at his side, creating the plotlines and threading their books together.

It used to be so terrible within the Ramshackle house. No sign of life (no shade to the ghosts) with essential repairs needed inorder for it to be somewhat livable.

But you indeed managed to make it your own little home, not exactly transforming the whole house, but it was home. However a part of you was inspired by the botanical garden on campus, you went there often and it was beautiful. In fact, you were found there so often that Rook called you “Fleur de lys”.

Yet the garden was just always so far, too many people, or you’d accidentally wake up a sleeping Leona. So you decided, hey? What if I made my own garden in the dorms, I’ve got plenty of space.

For a couple of months you spent remaking the room, adding windows and some seats. And you continued to culminate a collection of plants. From buying them yourself, borrowing plants from the science club, and taking some seeds plants from botanical garden.

It was soon your own little paradise, yet you had no one to share it with besides your roommate, Grim. Until you heard a little someone talking, specifically about plants after your magical law class had ended, and you were packing up your things.

“Oh I sure do love plants! Don’t you too, Idia?”

“I’m not the biggest fan, Ortho… let’s just go home. Class is already over.”

“I think you don’t like them, since you’re afraid of the outside!”

“SHUT UP ORTHO, I’M NOT AFRAID OF THE OUTSIDE-”

You had always babysat Ortho when Idia was busy, even when he would make the strange comment that “Ortho doesn’t really need it”. You never understood, but you decided not to pry.

“Wait, Y/N. Don’t you have a garden in your home?” Ortho asked, bringing your attention to him fully.

“Why yes, I do,” you replied with a smile, turning to face the young boy behind you.

“Oh Idia, please let me go see their garden! Pretty, pretty please, big brother” Ortho pleaded, staring at him with his cute beaming eyes.

By the Great Seven, why did he program him to be so cute?

“O-only if it’s okay with Y/N” Idia stuttered, looking at you to give permission to his brother.

“Of course it is, you guys are always welcome in my house. You can come this weekend, if that’s good for you guys?” you asked.

“Of course it is! Yay! I’m gonna see Y/N’s garden! Thank you, Y/N!”

It was already Saturday, and Ortho was at your doorstep at 10 am sharp. Bringing the gift of freshly made cookies, Ortho excitedly told you how he got the recipe from Trey.

You invited him into your home, him holding onto your hand as he floated with you. He was so excited seeing all the plants, each of them having their own unique traits and needs.

“How do you keep up with all these plants?” Ortho asked as he watched you pour tea into his cup.

“It’s been a journey, since these plants are way different from the ones where I come from. I’ve had to do alot of research, but it’s all worth it!” You explained.

“You’re so cool! Just like how my brother said!” Ortho beamed.

“Idia talks about me?” you asked, wondering why the little boy’s brother would talk about you. I mean, you barely knew anything about technology so you both weren’t really on the same page in relating to your guy’s interests.

“Uhuh! He says that you’re ‘so O.P without even needing magic’” Ortho said, giving a hilarious impression of his big brother. “Idia thinks that you’re really cool too!”

Heat rose to your cheeks, you didn’t know that Idia had this much admiration for you. You definitely should talk to the flame haired man more often.

“Well, once you go back to your brother make sure you tell him that I think he’s cool as well” you smiled, extending your pinky to make a pinky promise.

“I promise!” the robot boy replied.

You continued to spend time in the garden, playing games, listening to music and giving the young boy a tour of all the plants in your garden. Once it was the afternoon, Idia gave you a call telling you that he was in his dorm room. And while the little boy held a pout and didn’t want to go home, Ortho sure did love his brother so he obliged to go, following you as you escorted him back to the Ignihyde dorm.

“I’m sure Idia misses you Ortho, he would probably really want to see you. After all, the presentation probably made him incredibly nervous,” you explained, happy once you saw the change of expression in Ortho’s yellow eyes.

“Ah! You’re right, I should give him a big hug once I see him!” Ortho said.

“Big brother!” Ortho said, wrapping his arms around Idia’s waist.

“O-Oh, I didn’t expect you guys to be back so soon,” Idia said, embarrassed that you were looking at Ortho’s animated displayed affection.

“Yeah, but I missed you! It was so fun, we drank tea, and Y/N gave me a tour of all their plants! Aren’t they super cool just like you said?” Ortho beamed, staring up at his brother.

“O-Ortho I never said that!” Idia retorted.

“Nope, you said that they were super cool and o.p! Remember what I told you, Y/N?” Ortho said, gesturing to you.

“Uh yeah, that’s what I heard. And you’re pretty cool too, Idia” you said, giving a thumbs up. Idia looked like he was about to pass out of embarrassment.

“See! Didn’t you say it was bad to lie, Idia?” Ortho said, crossing his arms to scold his older brother that sat in his gaming chair.

“I also told you that it’s bad to overshare private conversations, Ortho.”

Maybe next time you should bring out Idia, show him that the outdoors aren’t too shabby.

My Twisted Wonderland OC Plans

Everyone Else: has really cool design ideas and plans for their Twisted Wonderland OCs that make sense

Me, the fool:

I wanted to plan out my Twisted Wonderland series “Legends Over The Horizon”, so I spent like last month coming up with names and designs to the student OCs for it. Since my favorite things are giants and monsters, I wanted to do Twist versions of villains/antagonists that match that criteria. While I’m still going over designs and personalities for these OCs, I just wanted to show a little visual of what I have so far which includes the dorm and their seat assignment:

Heartslabyul: The Bandersnatch from the Alice in Wonderland remake

Now mind you, I have never watched this film nor intend to, but I wanted a monster from the original Alice in Wonderland book/franchise. One creature that interested me was the Bandersnatch because not only of this film’s design for it but that it sounded a lot more pleasing than the Jabberwock. It seems like a good start for the first chapter of the series. So I imagined a beastman freshman who is very fast, doesn’t want to follow the rules, and seems to know a bit about the Drink Me/Eat Me items. 

Savanaclaw: King Louie from the Jungle Book

I’ve seen both the original and remake of the Jungle Book. King Louie is one of my favorites next to Kaa. I decided to include both versions merged together because I love the original more, yet I like the concept of a much bigger character who towers over the protagonist like a mob boss. I imagined a second-year who has this inside gang, has connections with Octavinelle, and secretly wants to surpass Leona.

Octavinelle: Tamatoa from Moana

For those who know me, Tamatoa and Oogie are a given. I have to include them somehow. Especially Tamatoa. Actually, this is the first OC I started to develop and worked to expand upon. This is a first-year student whose arc is this tense musical with major plot-relevant stuff. Although Azul wants to recruit him, he seems to have other plans at first involving Vil and the Film Club. There are so many plans for him that I have we could be here all day.

Scarabia: Samir the Destroyer from Aladdin the Series

Out of all the characters I can pick, I picked for Scarabia the one character that only appears in an episode of Aladdin for the first season. I just loved the episode “Never Say Nefir”, okay? Just the design and the concept of a giant dancing rhino hypnotized is interesting. I wanted to follow with Kalim’s character and have this first-year be out of place in a school like Night Raven, but there are some hidden secrets to him. His unique magic is related to dancing and he has a brother who is also in the school

Pomfiore: King Candy/Turbo from Wreck It Ralph

I am very surprised no one has ever attempted King Candy as their twist version. Yes, it might be hard to pull off, but I just like the duality to him as well as his monster form near the end of the film. I thought a second-year like that would fit the Pomfiore dorm as well as be a key to a dark plot in the midst. 

Ignihyde: The Rhino from James and the Giant Peach

I checked. The film is part of the Disney franchise apparently. This counts! I remember being legitimately scared and intrigued of this cloud rhino monster when I first saw it on VHS. Not only does it fit what I’m looking for, it also fits for Ignihyde’s theme of Greek Mythology and other-worldly. This first-year is the brother to the one in Scarabia and is actually a shadowy shapeshifter who cares about his brother like a twin. 

Diasomnia: Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas

Here’s the other character that I wanted to work it. Originally, I wanted to figure out who was going to be the ghosts of Ramshackle for my version of it. Some people chose names for the ghosts, some based theirs out of famous trios such as Lock, Shock and Barrel or the three stooges. But then I thought, what if the Oogie Boogie twist was one of the ghosts who seemed to die before he overblotted? Thus, my plans for him began. There’s a question mark next to him because I’m still figuring out whether he should be a freshman or second-year. I’m leaning towards the latter though.

Ramshackle: Moana from Moana and Mickey Mouse

For the prefect, Mickey is mandatory for me since I like the connection Mickey has with canon Yuu in general. As for Moana, I picked her not only due to the Tamatoa twist, but for character arcs and such for my version of Yuu.

Sorry, this is the short explanation, but I’ll expand more when I find out more and develop it.

Leona never should have taken you with him.

It was after Azul had lost control and overblotted; the Octavinelle dorm entrance was in shambles and he had somehow lost sight of you in the midst of all the mayhem and fighting. 

The Leech twins, after letting everyone discuss things over, took Azul to the infirmary to rest and be treated. 

Now, he was wandering around the entrance in search of you. He was almost about to give up when-

“Leona,” a voice croaked out to him, soft and quivering. 

His ears twitched at the sound of it and before he could even fully register its closeness, he was whipping around in search of where it came from. “Y/N?” He calls out to you, eyes scanning the vicinity. It frustrated him that he couldn’t find you, especially since there was barely anything around besides a couple of rocks and underwater plants. When you say his name again, he gets a better sense of where you are and spots you a few meters away from him, sitting behind a cluster of kelp on the cold ocean sand with your arms wrapped around your legs and your knees pressed to your chest. 

He rushes over to you then kneels down in front of you. “Hey, are you okay?” he asks before gently taking your hands into his and holding them to his face. His thumb strokes the back of your hand, reassuringly as he waits for you to respond. You look up at him, your eyes distant and moist. Quietly, you mumble, “Can I… Listen to your heartbeat?” 

Your request surprises him and makes him meet your gaze. In your eyes, he sees something so broken and naked that he stills and lets himself panic for a moment at the intensity of emotion swimming inside the colour of your stare. 

“Of course,” he breathes out in reply as he brings you closer and envelopes you into his arms, letting you place your ear onto his chest.

His heart thrums steadily inside his chest, enfolding you in the rich symphony of its beating. It pulls you closer and closer until tears escape the corners of your eyes and you let out a sob. Your shoulders relax, making him sigh in relief. Slowly, he moves his arms and scoops you up, cradling you into his chest as he stands up and takes you away. 

“You’re okay,” he cooed as you drift off into slumber. 

“You’re safe.”

Malleus knew you were getting worried over whether you would be able to go back home to your world. 

He hadn’t really let himself do the same, in fear that it would worry you even more.

He leaves you to your contemplation for a while until he finds you alone in the classroom after school.

You were staring out the window absentmindedly; eyes shaking and hands gripping the window frame tightly as if it was the only thing keeping you from breaking.

He comes up to you, fingers picking at the cuffs of his sleeve nervously unlike the stoic expression plastered on his face. You look back at him, eyes distant and glistening though not exactly unwelcoming. He knew you were thinking about home, he could tell by the far off look in your eyes that seemed to be searching for something beyond the blue of the sky.

“Do you think… that I could ever..” you stammered out, looking at him briefly before lowering your gaze. “Do you think that I could ever get back home?”

Your question is met with stillness. It was difficult for him to answer you. He didn’t want to give you false hope, especially for something as close to your heart as this, but he also didn’t want you to feel as if there was no hope at all.

Giving himself a moment to think about it, he exhales and replies, “There’s a possibility.”

You nod at this before turning back to the window to stare at the clouds. 

All seemed well. He didn’t think his reply came out too cold and, though you only nodded at him, at least you weren’t crying— 

until you were.

Tears swelled in your crinkled eyes and dripped down onto your cheeks. You tried your best to hide it from him; turning your head to the side before raising your hands to your face and wiping them away, sniffling with each swipe. He whispers your name, raising his arms and then dropping them— a false start— but then he carefully steels himself to it, curving himself around your body and pulling you close, letting you hide your face into his arm.

The two of you stand there for a moment; him, shushing you while stroking your hair and you, letting out all of your emotions onto the sleeve of his blazer. 

“Malleus?” you mumbled, making him bend down a little to hear you better. A sob distorts your words. “Could I- Could I listen to your heartbeat?”

He doesn’t dare speak. Instead, he lets you move to place your head onto his chest. His heartbeat was soft against your ears. The shape of the sound reminded you of an old lullaby with its continuous strokes and arcs, modulating slowly into an orchestra of reverberation. You listen to the melody pass and circle back, letting the sound flow into you until it makes you smile and chuckle into him with a heavy weight in your chest.

“Thank you,” you say as you wrap your arms around him tightly. 

“Thank you.”

Behind the Fic: TW:OPT - Chapter 72 - 77

This is it, guys. We’ve finally reach the end of “Break & Gosh”! Thank you so much for sticking around until now. Oh boy, we are way past 75 chapters. I don’t know if I should be proud or worried of myself.

So, this will be the last note before we continue to a brand new Arc!

WARNING: This will contain a bit of spoiler for the newest chapters of my fan fiction Twisted-Wonderland: Our Precious Treasure. Click here to read the whole mini-arc from the beginning!

Before we actually start, let me tell you about the title of this Arc "Break & Gosh". Following the Nickelodeon TV Series parody title, this Arc was named after the show "Drake & Josh". I tried to find some word that time with the title and came up with this. I don't really like the title, but it sort of grew on me.

All of this mini-arc title were actual lyrics from Hyperdrive, the Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds' English dub opening. I kinda forget why I chose this.

This arc itself can be separated into two: Leona's Therapy (72-73) and Magishift Rematch (74-77)

Following what I did in The Crimson Tyrant, I gave Leona two 'therapy' chapters, just like how I gave two pay-off chapter for Riddle. So we have the comparison:

Chapter 30: Early Summer-Rain Honesty!  =  Chapter 62: There's More To Be Seen Than Can Ever Be Seen!

Chapter 31: Take a Break and Get Away!  =  Chapter 72: I Can Hear You Breathin'! 

Chapter 32: Reigning Beast! =  Chapter 73: I Can See You Comin'!

However, unlike Riddle’s, the therapy chapters for Leona was more Leona-centric. While I can still put some filler content in Riddle's, Leona's chapter is exclusive for Leona (with Ruggie and Jonah)

Unlike Riddle, Leona's therapy was way harder to write because, again, I didn't experience the same thing as Leona. I remember being compared, but my usual response was like: "Suck it up." Meanwhile, I feel like Leona took that comparison to the heart which made him think that all his effort is for nothing.

The entire first half of “Chapter 72: I Can Hear You Breathin'!” was improvised. I didn't plan for Grim or Ruggie to appear, however, the plan had changed.

A reference to the canon, here, Ruggie also used [Laugh With Me] on Leona

I also feel like Jonah and Leona are way harder to connect than Jonah and Riddle. Jonah is easier to connect with people who are the same age as him than those who are older.

This also adds that Riddle was pretty much grateful that Jonah said he wants to be his friend back in. So, he could trust him.

This is where Ruggie came in in place of Jonah. Ruggie clearly knows Leona better and had been for the longest. Leona trusts Ruggie, and Ruggie still loyal to him.

Also, this is probably because Leona doesn't get involved that much in Octavinelle Arc, unlike Riddle who has quite a big role in Savanaclaw Arc.

Ah, yes. The chess allegory. I didn't make it, I looked it up from here. I know nothing about chess.

I also added some of Leona's motives for wanting to bring down Malleus.

More of Leona's past were added. None of these is canon.

I just want to point out that Leona's relationship with his grandfather was inspired by Simba and Mufasa's relationship.

Also, can I just point out that Leona never actually apologized to Ruggie for Thanos-ing his arm? Well, he says sorry here.

Almost didn't happen. But because I said I want to match Riddle's therapy, this chapter was written.

“Chapter 73: I Can See You Comin'!” is a continuation of the therapy arc, I just need Leona to see that acceptance from Ruggie because he's just too stubborn and closed-off.

I still really like the part where Ruggie is bowing to Leona. I'm a sucker for that.

The second half of this Arc was a mess, because: (1) This is my first attempt writing a sports scene; (2) Canon didn't give me that much info about Magishift; (3) I thought it was a good idea to mix Quidditch with American Football

“Chapter 74: My Heart Beats In Hyper Drive!” and “Chapter 75: Take a Shot at Me Runnin' Side by Side!” are supposed to be one chapter, but I decided to cut it off in half and switch some scripts.

We never actually knew how Ramshackle Dorm was build or the history of how it became abandoned in canon (hopefully yet), so I made up some stories again

When writing the sports scene, I also watch Eyeshield 21, because this is the first thing that came up in my mind when I heard 'American Football'.

Grim with his frying pan was inspired by that one meme

“Chapter 75: Take a Shot at Me Runnin' Side by Side!” had more world-building info about the (very poorly built) magic system. I made some notes about it in my Behind the Fic: Canon and Beyond. Read it here and here.

The Octavinelle gang wasn't supposed to appear, but then I remember a plot point way back in Jonah Argentum's Declassified Boarding School Survival Guide that I need to address, so the trio made an appearance here.

Epel was supposed to be Ace's mentor. However, because I want to see more of him in Pomefiore Arc, I ended up changing him with Floyd

I made up about Deuce and his past with baby chicks. I need to make-up something about Deuce's loves for baby chicks

The actual Magishift Rematch in  “Chapter 76: It’s a Blur as I Go By!” is way better than the first sports scene I've written earlier, though I still feel it's a bit short spot the Spongebob reference.

The celebration though was a bit of a letdown. I really want to write more, but I can't think about it more.

I just realized that Jack never appears in this portion of the Arc, so I made up the last Savanaclaw squad scene because I know Jack still respect Leona after this.

Ah... The final scene. This is a remake of what happened in canon.

Then I realized that I never write Leona ending scene back during The Crimson Tyrant. It was because Jonah never made a contact with Leona except for that one scene in. However, Azul was present during this while celebration, so I feel it didn't come out of nowhere if I add that scene.

Overall, Break & Gosh is a challenging Arc. Needed way more planning than Jonah Argentum's Declassified Boarding School Survival Guide and felt like an actual Arc rather than a collection of one-shots.

The Songs of Final Fantasy

I’m still bored to death so I make this list of Final Fantasy songs that I love. Note that these are songs, not score and I won’t include any songs from Compilation of Final Fantasy VII since I’ve already made such post two days ago. 

Since tumblr only allows 5 videos per post, this is my top 5 favorite Final Fantasy songs, follow by some others:

1. Eyes on Me (Final Fantasy VIII) by Faye Wong. The song of all songs. The very first song made for any Final Fantasy game. It also fits beautifully inside the game. When you listen to it, you can tell it’s quite an old song but the lyric is thoughtful and romantic, it becomes a timeless song. Also proof that Nobuo Uematsu is a genius composer.

2. Kimi ga Iru Kara (Final Fantasy XIII) by Sayuri Sugawara. Tbh, I never really like FFXIII. I finished the game, with help from cheats and walkthrough and then I felt nothing when the credits rolled. The gameplay is too linear, it’s too boring, the battle system felt too tedious. I never feel attached to Lightning and more attached to Snow but then as far as I know he became an emo and anti hero-ish in FFXIII-2. I never want to pay any interest with all its sequels, and I still don’t want to. But gotta admit when the trailer was released and I was so excited, I love this song so much. And don’t get me wrong, I also love the song for English version, My Hands by Leona Lewis. But I prefer this one more.

3. Suteki da Ne (Final Fantasy X) by Rikki. Also composed by Nobuo Uematsu together with Kazushige Nojima. There are two versions of Suteki da Ne, the main one which played during the scene where Yuna and Tidus kiss and the orchestral one which played in the credits. I prefer the orchestra version.

4. Kiss Me Goodbye (Final Fantasy XII) by Angela Aki. This one is also composed by Nobuo Uematsu. FFXII overall has a stellar soundtrack, too bad I never actually get to finish the game. And in the style of Kingdom Hearts, this song has Japanese and English version, both performed by Angela Aki. This one in particular is Angela Aki’s performance of this song in English. I like this performance too when she sang this song in Japanese version.

5. Stand by Me (Final Fantasy XV) by Florence + The Machine (Ben E. King cover). I was actually crossed when this was first announced as FFXV song. A cover for FF song? Sing by mainstream musician?? But of course Florence proved me wrong. It’s a great cover. Ironically, I haven’t played FFXV yet and in order not to spoil my self, distancing from anything related to FFXV. Notice the ‘lucis’ in my username, I’d waited that game for a decade and still haven’t played it, 4 years later since the game released. I was sidetracked, then I also have lists of game that I want to play. I was about to have this first but FFVII Remake was also gonna be released and that was what I prioritized. I even joked my brother maybe I should just wait until it’s available for free on PSN Plus. Anyway, I was about to put Somnus, but then Somnus would count more as soundtrack rather than original song. Other Florence’s song for FFXV, Too Much is Never Enough is also really good.

6. Cosmos, Chaos, The Messenger (Dissidia Final Fantasy) by Your Favorite Enemies. These three songs are one package and should be mentioned together. Cosmos and Chaos are composed by Takeharu Ishimoto and appear in the gameplay. The Messenger is bonus track. Gosh these songs are so underrated. And I really miss my PSP now. 

7. Melodies of Life (Final Fantasy IX) by Emiko Shiratori. This song also has English and Japanese version. Another one composed by Nobuo Uematsu. This song is also quite legendary but not as famous as Eyes on Me. In fact, I just know this song exists recently. Maybe because Faye Wong is more famous than Emiko Shiratori..hmm...

These songs, many people like it but personally I’m not really keen...

Rosemary The Fox

EDIT: Sheesh, I’m getting to this way late. I started reviewing this when I was sent in, but I have no clue why I abandoned it. Anyhow, I’ll finish it now. 

Name: Rosemary the (pirate)fox

Oh no……my poor name rule…….*puts head in hands*….Okay but in all honestly I think they’re just having their fun here, I’m going to critique it to my standards but I’m a firm believer in things being alright as long as they make sense in context.

Age: 21 Gender: Female Species: Fennec Fox 

With this reference image I’m a little unclear of whether this is a kind of AU or not, but it seems like she’s meant to be taken as an animatronic despite her being drawn in human forms. Which is cool! I think it’s cool. As such, I’m assuming the age listed is like…her mental age as an animatronic, and/or the age she died at (skimmed ahead a bit and this seems to be a case of ‘possessed animatronic’).

Also specifying fennec fox as a species/design inspiration adds a little bit of flavor here, despite her name simplifying it to just ‘fox’! I think it’s a good compromise between wanting a more exotic species for your OC and wanting a species simple enough for any child to understand.

Sibling: Emily Bunny/Sunny

Is Sunny another name of Emily Bunny’s or is it another person? It. Might be best to clarify this. Children: Stitched the Lion Ragdoll and Patches the Rabbit Ragdoll Height: 5 ft. and 8 in.

As a human or as an animatronic? Either way this probably works out! My first thought is ‘wow that’s a small animatronic’ but honestly it does make sense for her to be built smaller, and it’s been done irl plenty of times. Bio: When Rosemary was alive her name was Orchid Flower. She adopted Leona (Stitched) and Promise (Patches). She wanted children but she didn’t find anyone that she loves that much and back. (I’m assuming this means she wanted children but she couldn’t find a partner who she was willing to have children with. I do like this plot point, though I think it should be expanded upon! I’m not an expert, but 21 sounds kind of young for adoption, and she would’ve had to prove that she’s able to provide a stable life for these children and whatnot. I do also think there are some barriers that single aspiring parents struggle with when trying to adopt vs couples, so that would be something to write about too.) She was helping to design the animatronics for *Sugar Kitty’s Ice Cream and Pizza* and when the animatronics where built, she was showing Shimmer, Taylor and her sister Sunny. They were killed. (Who are Shimmer and Taylor? Who killed them? And how did Leona and Promise die? If they didn’t die with Orchid, what happened to them after her death? Did they go to another foster parent? Otherwise, I think this is a good set-up, and a good reason for Orchid to be at an animatronic restaurant - after all, she was designing the robots, and I don’t think it’s far-fetched for her to want to show people close to her her hard work in real life.) Orchid possessed Rosemary. Rosemary wasn’t intended to be a pirate it’s just that they didn’t have enough money for the hand so they made her a pirate. (I was going to question this but like. Yeah fair. It’s an easier explanation for her hand being missing than anything else, but there were some ways the missing hand could’ve been taken other than the pirate route (for lack of a better example, see Funtime Freddy. Was,, did he exist when this submission was sent in??? When was this submission sent in-)) After two years of opening Sugar Kitty’s was law sued by Fazbears entertainment because of Rosemary being a *Pirate Fox* like Foxy the Pirate fox. To avoid being shut down they kept Rosemary in her “cove”(their were being law sued for that too). (Yeah this makes sense.) She doesn’t comes out her cove except to say hi to the night watch. There was one time where she was repaired and had her left eye and hand. but it didn’t last. (Why didn’t it last? Was it before or after the lawsuit? Did they try to remake her into something other than a ‘pirate fox’? :thinking:)

Overall the backstory is lacking in detail but makes sense in general and has a lot of potential. As for my last point, I can definitely see her being fixed and the public just. Not having a good reaction to her character suddenly changing, so that might be why her being fixed ‘didn’t last’.

Personality: Sensitive/doubtful/ She’s sensitive, gentle but she could get a bit ruff. She’s the type of person that speaks in a sad toned voice. She holds grudges that she will never forget but person she has a grudge against wouldn’t even remember it but she’ll give them multiple changes. She walks around like she’s sad and has a storm cloud above her. She could be bubbly at times but that’s when she's trying her best to contain herself. She sometimes think that she doesn’t have emotions. When ever someone angers her she says all the bad things in her head.    to best summarize it she bottles up her emotion

This section is kind of awkwardly written, but I get the gist. She’s sensitive and gentle but can get rough in certain situations. She’s generally a very sad person and it shows, and she’s quick to hold grudges for things that sometimes aren’t even important. It’s the trauma ™. I think this is a good personality description to start with, but as an animatronic OC I think it would do her some good to write out how she acts around children/how Rosemary (the animatronic) has been programmed to act around children. Has the programming been completely taken over by Orchid’s spirit? Does Orchid work together with the programming? These are some questions that should be considered, I think. Likes: She likes to isolate herself in her “cove”, she likes to draw even though she’s a *lefty* she would tie a pencil to her hook and draw, she likes to sing too, green, blue, flowers, music, plush toys, unicorns(fairytales), she likes to be around the people she’s used to

This is cute. <:) Dislikes: Moving she’s lazy but she might run around, people making fun of her, people whining, hard core gore

Yeah fair, but children are whiny. How does she act around them if she’s in a children-targeted restaurant? Powers/abilities: She has vines that comes out of her back. They only come out when she angry or she actually needs it. But when they come out it hurts her and. When she little angry they’ll only come out a little. But when she extremely angry they’ll come out all the way. But the problem is that most of the time her anger turn into tears. With the vines that has thorns she could extend them. When ever she gets sad thorns would grow on her face starting from under eye patch. They would grow as her sadness would grow. At any time she could summon a veinus fly trap and it doesn’t hurt. When she’s out of control the trap will convert her. When she’s happy or over came sadness roses, orchids or even any pink or red flowers.

How does this work? It could make some good sense with more worldbuilding but we didn’t get the worldbuilding necessary to justify these magical plant powers. Why does Rosemary have these powers? Did Orchid have these powers when she was alive? Is this somehow a part of the robot? Yyeah this should be given more thought.

Anyway, since there wasn’t an appearance section I’ll do some design critique down here-

The neon is kind of really bright! I’m not going to say it’s unpleasant to look at because I’m one of the few that actually quite likes these color schemes, but it feels like as a restaurant design it would be…unappealing to a wider audience. I do like the various alt designs, and I think Rosemary in general just looks super cute. The eyepatch is especially a nice touch! I like the heart. I didn’t get a fullbody of the actual animatronic form, so I can’t pass any judgement on that front, but aside from the neon green/teal I think the colors and outfits/accessories are really nice on the human designs! The pirate design in the middle is especially nice, as all the darker browns balance out the bright hair really well.

Honestly, what keeps me from passing definite judgement is the fact that there seems to be a lot of information and character building missing here that may or may not be present in other places- aka, not the source of this art. For all I know, the things I asked for more elaboration on have already been elaborated on in other posts from this artist!

But with that, I’ll bring my review to a close. Overall? Good character! I like her for various reasons, and I’m intrigued to learn more about her (and the world she’s in, as it seems it doesn’t conform strictly to the rules of the FNAF universe).

1)  Nicknames - Not really. My name is pretty nigh un-nicknameable, and the one short-hand which exists quickly becomes obscene in the hands of high school boys, so no. We get a lot of ‘honey’ and ‘love’ around the house, but they’re sort of generic nicknames for family-member-currently-in-my-line-of-sight. 

(truth time - I’ve always associated sweet nicknames with being loved, and my kids have about ten different nicknames apiece. My parents, on the other hand, are not the nicknaming sort.)

2.) Gender - Cis Female

3.) Star sign - Capricorn. I really don’t believe in astrology, but in pretty much every system and zodiac, I end up as an earth sign. There’s probably something being said there. 

4.) Height - 5′2″. My newest sister in law is the only adult in the family shorter than I am, and I’m so glad not to be the (only) elbow rest anymore.

6.) Birthday - The day before the night before Christmas.

7.) Favourite band – My playlist rotations vary a lot, but based on both music and being Incredibly Amazing People, the Heather Dale Band.

8.) Favourite solo artist – There are lots and my tastes really tend to vary. I’ve had ‘Slow Hands’ on repeat a lot right now, but I definitely wouldn’t say that Niall Horan’s a favourite. Leona Lewis? Heather Dale? I like women’s voices. 

9.) Song stuck in my head – See above re: Slow Hands, but it alternates these days with the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme. I have a six year old.

10.) Last movie you watched – Ocean’s 11. The 2001 remake, and how the hell is this movie already old enough to drive?  That’s just not right. But we’d been on a Leverage binge and I was in the mood for a caper film, and it was on Netflix. I still haven’t seen Ocean’s 13, but 12 was crap. 

11.) Last show you watched – We just finished watching Stranger Things (so much fun), and before that we were catching up on more Netflix queue with Defenders.

12.) When did I create my blog – 2012? I think? I started writing fic again for the first time in over 15 years while hopped up on the good drugs following my tubal ligation surgery that spring. XD 

13.) What do I post – Fic, reblogging art, a lot of things related to religion and politics and religious politics (Judaism specifically).

14) Last thing I googled – Checking the attribution on an image of a greek statue. 

15.) Do you have other blogs – A pro writing blog that’s sitting idle right now while I sort out what to do with books that have reverted back to me. Which has itself currently taken a back seat to PhD work.  

17.) Why did you choose your url – It’s my online ID pretty much everywhere, and is a reference to an old and obscure RPG NPC.

20.) Favourite colours – Greens and blues, though my wardrobe is predominantly black, grey, red and purple.

21.) Average hours of sleep – 5 or 6. I need eight to prevent semi-regular migraines, but I’ve had a lifelong battle with depression-linked insomnia that kicks my ass on a regular basis.

22.) Lucky number – none. 7, I suppose, since it’s one of those significant numbers, and I may as well add 18 for chai. 

23.) Instruments I played – Voice, trombone, guitar. Very brief flirtation with violin that did not end well for anyone. 

24.) What am I wearing – Work clothes - grey dress pants, a red camisole and a scoop-neck grey sweater with elbow-length sleeves. One solid red sock and one striped red sock, both fuzzy. Wedding rings, 15 earrings - mostly garnet, opal and zircon studs - and my grandmother’s opal pendant on a long gold chain. 

25.) How many blankets I sleep with – Two or three depending on the weather, usually including a quilt that I’ve made and an afghan of some sort.  The room must be cold, the pillows and blankets plentiful. I have a minor pillow obsession, and there are usually about seven or eight in varying sizes on our bed at any given time. I want to sink into a soft fuzzy bedding pool and never re-emerge.

26.) Dream job – I’m en route, I hope. Ideally I’d be doing exactly what I am doing, but finished the PhD and tenured. (HAH.)

27.) Dream trip – My better half and I have often talked about doing a old-school medieval-style pilgrimage - seeing which of the medieval shrines still exist, walking the road to Santiago, doing all of the major churches. The Hagia Sophia is on my bucket list. 

This is a lot funnier when you realize we’re Jewish (me) and Presbyterian. But the architecture and the archaeology and the history of it all would just be so thrilling. Also an excuse to hang out in Spain and Italy and eat all the things. 

28.) Favourite food –  Pasta. There was (is?) a restaurant in Montreal that we used to go to all the time that did hand-made pastas and the most sumptuous sauces, cream and cheese in everything. Ugh, I die. I could live forever on any and every variation of noodle things. 

29.) Nationality – Canadian. Culturally Ashkenazi, and I’m told my Yid comes out in my cadence when I get annoyed. 

30.) Favourite song – Don’t really have one, per se. There are a lot that I like based on specific moods or memories. ‘No Air’ (the Nath Campos cover) is definitely up there, as is Alannah Myles’ ‘Black Velvet.’

10 Facts About Me

Tagged by the lovely @mit-riko! <333 Thank you! Sorry it took me a month to reply to this. I have been in a deep slump, that I’m sort of just beginning to get out of.

1) Yes! Stuffed animals are love <3!!!! I still have several animals from childhood/when I was a teen. I’ve collected a couple new ones in recent years but they were all gifts. When I was a kid a slept with a giant stuffed dog called Fluffernutter that was probably the size of me XD. Now it’s just Rupert the teddy bear whom I’ve had since I was 14ish. He’s perfect hugging size. I am not dependent on stuffed animals to sleep, though and can do just fine without them, but if I don’t have a pillow to hug, I don’t really know what to do with my arm since I sleep on my side. I seem to manage somehow, though.

2) I don’t particularly like comedy as a genre. This doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy comedies or don’t have a sense of humor, but I almost never say “gee, I just want to read/watch something funny and silly.” I like drama and suspense and action way more. If there’s comedy mixed in, then that’s just an added bonus.

3) I’ve been playing video games since I was 3 years old. My first system was the SNES and my first game was Super Mario Bros. FF7 was my life for a long time, even though in retrospect I was probably too young to be playing it the first time I picked it up. I’m on the fence about a remake. My first Tales games was Symphonia, which oddly enough I didn’t fully appreciate the first time I played. I honestly am not sure why I played it a second time, but I did. And that’s how I stumbled onto other Tales games and fell in love with the franchise. I’ve now played Symphonia 5 times orz. (How did it come to this? It’s not even my fave). I still need to replay Abyss, to see if it’s still my fave because Berseria is a strong competitor.

4) I hate cooking. I’m slow at it, and there are a million things I’d rather be doing. I’m told that I’m good at it, but I’d still rather just have ready-to-eat food appear magically in front of me.

5) I have a really hard time watching movies by myself, no matter what the genre is. I don’t know what it is, but it’s like I can’t convince myself to just sit down and watch a single movie for a couple hours. I didn’t always use to be this way. Not sure what changed. I’m fine watching with other people, though.

6) I don’t cry often. So it always takes me by surprise if I tear up at something.

7) People consistently mistake me for being a teenager, or still in high school. I’m 26 XD

8) There was a time when I was literally addicted to League of Legends, no joke. Played it basically any free moment that I had. I was decent, I think. I’m an extremely competitive person, but I am not a rager, at least. I played mostly mid and support, but also some ADC. My faves to play were Zyra, Varus, Leona, Nami, and Ahri. I’ve stopped playing altogether. Occasionally I will join my friends for a game of Heroes of the Storm, though. I’m currently enjoying Li-ming, ETC, and Sylvanas.

9) I have ideas/characters for original stories, but excluding NaNoWriMo, I’ve never written them out since I was a kid. Partly, because I doubt people would even be interested in reading it. Also, I have one character whose name I’m still unsure of, and I’ve been undecided for a couple years now lol. I also feel like I need to catch up on my fanfic goals before I can touch anything else. I also feel like I write/type slowly.

10) I don’t have lofty career goals. I just wanna do science and be a cat mom.
