Silly idea I had related to Superman: Terrifying alien monster that shows up in Metropolis at disasters, except... she's not hurting anyone and appears to be helping.
Superman looks into it to see what the deal is, and finds out they were a crashed alien raised by two scientists in secret, who was inspired by Superman's example to help people.
Basically another paralell hero to Superman ala Steel based on the twist of "What if Superman was a far more alien kind of alien but with the same exact sort of personality?"

My Interpretation of the Justice League Pt. 2:
Part 2: Justice League Detroit: Now that J'onn is the new leader of the team, he moves to Detroit and sets up a private detective service there (possibly with his brother ma'alefa'ak as junior detective or something). From Detroit, J'onn goes looking for new members for his team. He finds them without too much hassle, and the Justice League Detroit is born!
The Justice League Detroit consists of six members: Martian Manhunter, Commander Steel, Gypsy (whose name probably really needs some reworking), Vibe, Vixen and J'onn's brother Ma'alefa'ak. The team is quite dysfunctional at first, since most of the team's members are young and impulsive. But with Martian Manhunter's careful guidance, the team slowly begins to come into their own.
The team is sadly still dealing with reputation issues from that civil war thing, and no amount of good press seems to be able to fix the problems inherent in the team around this time. Even though they get some big name allies or members (like Hawkman or Captain Marvel/Shazam or Green Lantern John Stewart), the team can't beat their bad reputation.
And sadly, everything comes crashing down around 2-3 years into this teams history. When J'onn's brother Ma'alefa'ak feels like he's been discriminated against by the people of earth, his already unstable mind (we can cover that in a seperate note), snaps and leads him to go on a rampage all throughout the globe. In order to stop him, the Justice League Detroit has to team up with all the members of the original Justice League (except Batman) and hunt him down.
And while this brave team of around 20 manages to subdue Ma'alefa'ak and make him see reason, the team still comes out of this looking bad. Ma'alefa'ak was technically a member of the Justice League, so some people are quick to blame the league for this conflict even occuring in the first place. Besides, Ma'alefa'ak and the league caused so much property damage across the world that they're pretty much broke by the time this adventure is over.
Part 3: Justice League…Canada? Originally conceived when the Justice League Detroit gets a mission in Canada. The mission goes well, and the Justice League gets some contacts in Canada. A year or two after this, the Justice League has the whole Ma'alefa'ak incident and their public reputation sinks even lower. Knowing that the United States has turned on them, the Justice League use their connections in Canada to keep the team running. Only one requirement: the team will have some oversight by the canadian government. Nothing too severe. But there will be some oversight and guidelines.
This new team is dysfunctional but shockingly more cohesive than any team before or after. Despite it all, this Canadian team slowly begins to recover the team's reputation after years of trauma. Who knew a team with members like Red Tornado, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold and others would be the team that leads the league back to greatness? Or well, as close to greatness as you can get after 4-5 years of awful publicity.

I have a super interesting writing hack idea of the "hero to villain" trope that instead of them becoming the villain by just losing everything, why not make them a mary sue or male harem protagonist from the start, but not like they were bad at the start they were started as a good person but they have no personality, not interested on anything whatsoever but people love them unrealistically, they only talk about that they hate villains and they keep talking that "villains are bad and none of them have a nice personality" but by the end or middle of the story, they became the villain and how they became one is just trying to kill the former-villain who is a good person that the good superhero helps them but the hero-to-villain character disagrees and has no trust of the good-hero that they trust from the start and decided to attack the former-villain and good-hero so they think it would fix the problem. And that's how that hero became the villain

Superhero idea:
Barnacle powered superhero, so imagine Spiderman, but with barnacle powers. Where they can stick to anyways, and they have tough skin. With hydrogel, they can create web like strings. The only difference, they don't have spidey sense, nd they are sea themed

Someone please write a superhero story where a character’s main power is that every night they dream ahead of time about the fandom’s reaction to the following week’s material. The culture of the fandom thus directly impacts the usefulness of the powers. Laying angrily in bed the next morning: “Damn this conscientious fandom...just post and tag your spoilers so I can find them! I need to know what Doctor Captain Robot Army is planning!” While asleep and scrolling through next week’s Tumblr in their dreams: “Is that fan art? I hope it’s fan art....” Groggily upon waking: “I agree with the shippers, those three really should just go on a date together already...” Still blushing while making breakfast: “Geez. Fine. Okay. I’ll ask them out.” And the thing is...if an exceptionally skilled writing team is doing this, they will allow the real life fandom’s posts to influence how they write the story. If they can get intimately familiar with the fandom’s reactions, they will be able to predict the fandom’s post themes and bring them into the comic/story/show/whatever. I just really think this would be super fun to read/watch.

You know what I love…
When people’s superpowers get worse when they’re scared.
Like sympathetic nervous system is a-going, heart is racing, and your whole body thinks you’re in danger. So it tries to kick in your powers to protect itself. I’m taking:
People with electric powers shocking themselves when touching a door knob.
Water powers unconsciously forming a water bubble and spilling it on themselves.
Fire powers smelling smoke suddenly, only to look down at their hands and realize their hands are heating up and burning the sweat off their hands.
Super genius’ drawing a blank and stuttering when someone asks them a question.
People with super speed bouncing their leg up and down or fiddling with their fingers so fast, it looks like one massive blob
(And of course the famous example) Miles, and his spider powers, sticking to everything.
Superhumans and their powers need to be one. I think often we forget about the ‘human’ part. Superpowers being inconvenient is comedic, cool to see, and shows that their powers aren’t just a cool feature they can just turn on and off. It’s a part of them. Just… people’s powers messing up when they’re scared. Give it a thought

Wes Weston's parents, concerned for their sons mental health, move to the Kansas countryside.
And after the first day there, he is absolutely convinced that the Kent's dear son who lives in Metropolis is Superman.
He helped them move in, and Wes clocked him in an instant.

"You want what?" Hero's face was full of barely hidden amusement. They suppress another giggle.
Villain's face flushes even more, heating spreading across their cheeks. "Okay, y'know what, forget it." They turn to leave, shoulders hunched in embarrassment before Hero's hand grabs onto their wrist, stopping them in place.
"No no, I'm sorry I shouldn't have laughed, I was just surprised." Their voice is still full of delight and humor. "So are you-"
"It's for my kid sister. She's a big fan of yours," Villain cuts Hero off, resisting the urge to roll their own eyes. "So can I get that autograph or not?"

An idea that never seems to leave me fully: A comic about a communist bloc superhero team. Marvel created a Soviet Superhero team in 1978 or so, but I'd take it a bit further. Founded in 1976 or 1977, this new team will exist for the last 15 years of the cold war (1976 to 1991). There'll be members from all across the communist countries in eastern europe. And their comic would be deliberately written and stylized to look like a 70s and 80s comic. Heavy dialogue, old colourful art, etc.
There was never a real Soviet team back in day, so I want to create one. At least then I can say that the cold war comics weren't one-sided (even if I had to posthumously make the Soviet Superhero Comics). Just be honest: would anyone read this? Or even like this? Because who knows if I'll ever take this idea further. But even if it goes nowhere, I want to know that it's not something people seem to really hate.

Superheroine Idea: A heroine whose powers are seasonal
Plant powers in spring
Fire powers in summer
Wind powers in fall
Ice powers in winter
But! Her moral alignment also changes. She's a classic hero in spring, an anti-hero in summer, a morally ambigious character in fall, and a straight-up villain in winter.
She often has to start every spring undoing the damage she'd done in the previous winter.
Her given name would be Demeter, and her alter-ego would change with the seasons, too.
Spring Cleaner
Summer Soldier
Fall Fouler
Winter Breaker

As a solid general idea, the Spiritverse has at least one superhero team per country/general area, with the exact details varying depending on the country. Smaller countries only have a small group of heroes, while others could have several in different provinces. (This is also a backdoor for other writers to create their own teams).
The main story takes place in America, and there are three main hero teams:
The “main” team, with the majority of the roster being Native American. The cast is the main focus of the stories I’ve planned out.
The first government created team, who was fully controlled by their “handlers”, down to them forcing the team to use terrible code names that they had no say in. They separated from the government because they still wanted to help people, just without the oversight. Valor and Finch were initially a part of the team.
A second team created by the government, a group of ex criminals being put through a second chance program. Not strictly good or evil, just complicated. Subtly manipulated by one of their members to go after the main heroes.

If you could create and add a new DC character, what would they be like?
I'm going to tell you about David, and knowing you guys, you'll agree with me when I say he should have his own comic.
David has been my best friend literally since we were 8. He is the only constant I've had through my life. He introduced me to the drums and helped me get a motorcycle after I got my license. We are each other's platonic ride or die. If he asked me to bury a body, I'd do it no question, and I know he'd do the same for me.
That said, I clearly have the braincell in this friendship.
Don't get me wrong, he's smart in certain aspects. He's a talented musician, good athlete, taught himself to fix most plumbing issues, speaks decent Japanese, easily clicks socially, and is super empathetic. But in others, he's like a plate in a knife drawer.
Some highlights from over the years:
He ate the brown paper bag his lunch came in on a field trip
He thought hot chocolate was just cocoa powder (no milk or water) in a mug and the microwave would melt it. His sister had to call the fire department
He gave a stray dog his scarf for warmth and never saw that scarf again
He licked the dust off an XBox controller
He got a speeding ticket outside the DMV literally five minutes after getting his license
He made gender reveal cupcakes to come out to the rest of our friend group when we were 17, but he threw them into a Ziploc and they jostled around his backpack for half a day before lunch
He thought closing a browser tab would get rid of a computer virus
He tried hotboxing his own car while driving
He almost seasoned his food with pepper spray before someone stopped him
He had a tire swing on a tree in his backyard. He decided to stand on it while swinging and smacked his forehead against a branch in front of him. It was literally the most hollow thwock ever, as if confirming his lack of braincells. He then proceeded to get pissed off and punch the tree. He said it was his most gender-affirming experience
He brought me along on a family road trip and used me as a footrest in the car
He frequently writes drum tabs the way he'd write guitar ones (in short the two are very different kinds of sheet music and I'd need three hands to play them). He absolutely knows better. I think he's messing with me at this point
He mistook wasabi powder for matcha
He once got drunk at a frat party, crawled out the lawn of the house, and began eating grass like a cow
I wanted to know what kissing a dude was like out of curiosity and this was before he started physically transitioning, so to make it a more "authentic" experience, he gargled Gatorade beforehand
He tried to make his first battle jacket with washable Crayola markers
He also tried to dye his hair with his sister's watercolors
He's worn the same sweatshirt since he was 14 and I think I can count on one hand how many times I've seen him wash it (I was over at his house a lot)
He's the motherfucker that wears running shorts in the snow
He thought his area code would automatically change when we moved to a new state
He once kicked a soccer ball into an oncoming train
BONUS: when he came out to his parents, they were accepting and while he was at school, his dad mounted a fish on David's bedroom door because men I guess
So yeah, if I worked at DC, I'd insert David in the background of every comic just being his chaotic himbo self. David is beyond space and time. There could be a battle on fucking Oa and David would just be there doing a kickflip. That's who I'd choose.
