Tim only finds out Kon dated his sister because he takes over for Cass one night as Black Bat and gets hit on by him. This is also, coincidentally, the exact same time he figures out he likes being flirted with by Kon and has a crush on him.

His family never lets him live it down.

been watching NGE again, and i am once again reminded of my timkon mecha anime headcanon

wherein tim absolutely loves Evangelion

(watched it for the first time when he was wayyyy too young but now it is an integral part of who he is as a person)

but kon thinks it’s entirely over rated like, wtf is this shit?? lets watch a good mech anime…

and proceeds to put on something that is arguably worse like fucking transformers energon

tim: I fell asleep and then woke up to dick screaming at me. It was very disorienting. Turns out I sleep dialed him. dick: I thought you were dying! tim: Turns out I also have sleep apnea…. dick: I was afraid he got kidnapped. Then I heard him snoring and was relieved. But then he stopped breathing and I was terrified again! I had to wake him up! bruce: Ok, I get it. But how did the fire start? dick: kon came running because he thought someone was being attacked. bruce: *sigh*

Okay but a thought struck me the other day, and maybe I’ll write it, but considering writing was my goal this weekend and I instead ended up at urgent care - sharing as a hc in case I never do 😂

The birds and the superkids are all still besties/dating (whatever your preference, doesn’t matter here) and yada yada happens and Damian and Kon just…get into a giant argument.

So they’re screaming at each other or whatever, and Kon just brings up the fact of “If you forced Jon to pick between us, he’d pick me.”

And it stings but Damian’s like ‘no shit, you’re his brother.’

But then to REALLY rub salt in the wound, Kon says, “And if you forced Tim to, he’d pick me too.”

And that one hits like a ton of bricks ‘cause - yeah. Tim probably would.

And it’s just the thing to say to trigger all of Damian’s insecurities and self loathing and - yeah, of course everyone would abandon him first chance they get. They’d be stupid not to! So why should any of them - Damian included - waste their energy!

So of course in his hurt he retreats from everyone, and it takes most people way too long to notice (except Jon obviously) but eventually Kon is asked if he knew anything and he guiltily mentions their argument and the terrible things he said.

And oh BOY are Jon and Tim fuckin’ FURIOUS. Jon definitely punches him. Tim…maybe.

a Tim Drake headcanon

Tim Drake has constant nightmares.

so i just think that when Tim has nightmares about everyone he thought he lost like Bart or Kon or Bruce. Tim goes for his camera that's on his bedside table for easy grab, to remind himself that they are back and alive.

he scrolls through the recent photos there : a photo of Bart and Cassie laughing brightly when they were playing Mario Kart. a selfie of him and Kon, where he's wrapped in his leather jacket. a photo of him and his best friends, where they were in another planet for a mission and they were covered with alien goo; they thought it was History in the Making.

a recent photo of Bruce, captured during one of their Sunday brunches. he's smiling with his eyes crinkled (which rarely happens), when he found out about Damian's art project being chosen to be presented at the school fairs because apparently, "My teachers said that my art is one of a kind, Father."

sometimes it gets quite difficult for Tim to close his eyes and let sleep consume him again. so he calls Kon, "Please tell me something, Kon. Please tell me you love me, and you won't leave me again." he just wants to hear his boyfriend's voice, to feel secured and assured. Kon doesn't have to be told twice because he replies with love. in some cases, Kon goes to the Manor and holds Tim until he's able to rest, whispering sweet words.

but there are also those kinds of nightmares, or more like painful memories of the Red Hood hurting Tim at the Tower.

Tim gets out of bed and checks the walls of the Manor, where it shows the many present photos of the family, all captured mostly by him. his favorite to look at is of Jason reading a book in the library and he has that small smile caused by something he read from the novel on his hand. it tells Tim that this is the now and that Jason is his big brother.

he tests this theory by peeking through Jason's slightly bedroom door (Jason rarely keeps it locked to remind himself that he isn't buried and trapped) and stares at Jason's sleeping form. Jason looks peaceful and harmless. if he wanted to hurt Tim again, he would have done it by now, right? on those occasions where's it's the two of them in the Manor? On Jason's motorcycle when he offered Tim a ride back home? At one of Jason's safehouses when he saved Tim in one of their night patrols?

one night when Tim is about to go back to his room after making the conclusion that Jason is sleeping.

"Back to stalker mode, Timmy?" Jason's voice is not filled with sleep. he must have been awake the entire time.

"Um... Just checking. Nightmare."

"Nightmare, huh? Well, fuck, me too. Let's get some coffee, I'll make us some. And if you want to talk about it, you can tell me."

and Tim has to look up to smile at Jason because he's so damn tall and Tim is so little.

"Thanks, Jay."

consistently funny to me that steph befriends all of tim’s boyfriends. she and kon paint each others nails and gossip. she and bernard exchange embarrassing stories about tim. and this is all AFTER she breaks up with tim.

Tim and Kon would be in the angstiest, most feral and the most intense relationship ever.

Their arguments would be screaming matches, their displays of affection could be public and they wouldn't care.

They run to each other the second a fight is over and they're so fucking dramatic before a fight begins.

Tim tosses himself off buildings all the time during fights because he absolutely trusts Kon to catch him. Kon trains himself to track Tim's heartbeat from across the galaxy.

People either hate them passionately or want to be them desperately

Okay so can we talk about how hilarious it is when Lex Luthor is a good dad to Kon? Like man made a clone son of his ex and said ex turns out to be a shitty dad to the clone son while lex luthor, known supervillain, is just a good dad.

Like: kon is feeling unwanted at clarks place so he just. Heads over to lex's and gets fathered while hes there. Kon gets bounced around like a child of divorce for a while before he ends up spending his time between the kent farm (ma and pa are literally the most important ever) and lex's rich guy penthouse.

Whenever lex and clark get into arguments about kon, lex is the one to actually think about whats best for kon long term. Lex doing lame dad shit with kon, trying to take him fishing and birdwatching and shit.

Just. The comedic potential.

There’s just something so special to me about the emotional aspects of Timkon’s relationship.

Like- they are both eachother’s rock, but in different ways. Kon is one of the only consistencies in Tim’s life, is always there for him, is always a shoulder to cry and rest on. He knows how to soothe him when things get to be too much, knows how to bring him down from any emotional ledge.

And for Kon- Tim is his. His relationship with Tim is one of the few things about Kon’s life that he got to pick, one of the only things that he gets to know that no one else can touch, no one else can control. And Tim is always there to encourage and uplift him, to ease him through his own insecurities.

Like. My boys are both so emotionally damaged. But they both carry eachother through their worst times. And I adore that about them

I feel like that's one of the traits Tim would inherit from Bruce, honestly. Like, obviously, he loves the Supers, ever single one. And Jon and Damian getting together? Unexpected given Damian's grievances with literally anyone around him, but happy for them, totally.

But if ANY of them so much as THINK about fucking with his family, boy's gonna go so feral. Only HE is allowed to bully Damian. Anyone else puts a sad face on that boy they are DONE. Bruce has never been more proud.

Meanwhile Damian is just WAITING for Kon to fuck up. Upset Tim? Upset Jon? Dude's dead and they are NEVER finding that body. EVER. Apple's don't fall far from the trees and Luthor's a BITCH, Damian's always known it.

Dick, horrified: Did Timmy turn into the Man-Bat?

Kon, sighs: Nope. He's just upset cus I'm keeping him at house arrest for not going to sleep. Aaand he also drank one of Bart's energy drinks when I told him not to.

Dick: You need help?

Kon, smiles widely: I've got it.

Dick, grabs Tim's laptop to search the case they worked on last week: I'm glad you're a super, no one can handle Timbers when he goes feline mode.

not even an hour later

Tim, pretends to cry at the other side of the room: I'll tell the whole world you're my favorite brother, Dick. I promise.

Dick, stands in front of Tim's room: Let me in, Conner.

Kon: But you told me earlier he needs to sleep...

Dick: But he told me I'm his favorite.

Tim, on the other side of the room: *is already trying to disable an explosive to escape*
