Bruce: "You're not even close to being ready. Do you have any idea what I had to learn? You have it so easy and it shows!"

Robin!Dick, furious: "Fine, I'll just go train with the league too! Or maybe I'll train with Deathstroke!"

Bruce: *rolling his eyes*

Soon after, Barbara, mutinously: "I knew I should've just taken Waller's job offer instead."

Fast forward to Red Hood!Jason, smugly: "I got trained by the people Ra's has nightmares about."

Then Tim: "I'll just ask Lady Shiva to teach me."

Stephanie: "Sign me up for it, I don't care who I have to fight. Anything so you shut up!"

*A little while later*

Bruce: "See my training focused on--"

Cass:

Bruce:

After which Damian came along: "Father, I think you're exaggerating, Mother told me she went easy on you that day."

Never let it be said that Bruce can't learn: "My training was actually a walk in the park, yeah, all those assassins, they went real easy on me. I'm the hardest teacher you'll ever have."

Duke: "Not even fucking close."

Bruce: ??

Duke: "Jason has insane standards, and Cass hits harder than you when we spar, and Shiva--"

Bruce: "Oh my God."

Doomed yuri, and it’s just batsis!reader in the universe of teen titans 2003 not able to show any love towards starfire who clearly loves her a lot. Starfire just wants to get to know the batgirl/female robin who is everything she wants.

She doesn’t want dick, she wants you. She wants you to notice her, but every time you both are get close—you push her away as if she isn’t worthy of your touch. Your brother tries to get you out of your shell. But you are still stuck on the death of your parents.

You loved them too much for them to die, so you rather not love Starfire so much.. so she dies.

Swamp Thing (entering Ivy's lab): Ivy, I dealt with Nightwing. We don't have to worry about him anymore.

Ivy (stopping her botany work, worried: Dealt with him how?

Swamp Thing (bragging): He's dangling off a cliff. He'll fall off soon. You're welcome.

Ivy's eyes widened in shock and she placed her test tubes on the table.

Ivy (racing past ST): God damn it, Alec! Nightwing, don’t lose your grip!

Swamp Thing (confused, running with her): Huh? I thought you wanted me to kill him.

Ivy (angry): When I said get rid of him, I meant lie! You could've waited for me to talk to him—not try to kill him! Shit! Shit! Nightwing keep gripping the cliff!

Swamp Thing: Okay, I am not a mind reader. I hear "get rid" and I think "kill."

Ivy: Just shut up, grip the vine, and help pull him up!

Ivy focused her powers and a vibrant green vine shot out, quickly extending toward the cliff's edge. Peering over, she spotted Nightwing hanging on with one hand. He was busy reaching for another part of the rock to hold on to, but seeing Ivy made him smile with a casual wave.

Nightwing (waving with his free hand): Hi Pam!

Ivy (relieved): Hey, kid. Here, grab on.

Ivy lowered the vine, and Nightwing gripped it with one hand, relieved that his foe-turned-friend was saving him. As he climbed back up, Ivy and Swamp Thing held the vine steady to support him.

Swamp Thing: Now I'm double confused.

Ivy (sheepishly): He's the only one I like. He’s defended my practices in the past, and he’s not bad for a hero. I don’t want him dying or hit with pollen. Don’t tell him I said this.

Swamp Thing (lying): Totally, secret is kept.

Nightwing's hand grasped the edge of the ground, and he pulled himself up. Once Ivy saw him, she walked over and shook his hand, knowing that hugging him in front of others would damage her reputation.

Nightwing: Thanks, Pam. I thought I was going to slip and... Nah, I would’ve made it back up, but thanks.

Ivy (patting Nightwing on the shoulder): No thanks needed. Seriously, never mention this to anyone.

Nightwing: Right, so I see you're committing some crimes here. Can I negotiate with you?

Ivy: We can compromise, but you have to make a pretty good argument.

Nightwing (shrugging): Works for me.

Ivy and Nightwing walked off as Swamp Thing rolled the vine back up.

Swamp Thing: By the way, Nightwing, Ivy said you’re the only Bat kid she likes—

Ivy lashed out with her vine, striking Swamp Thing across the face.

Swamp Thing (cont’d): Ow, damn it, Ivy!

Ivy (laughing nervously): He’s a compulsive liar.

Nightwing (smirking): Sure he is.

Listen, I love when Robin is the name and costume Dick choose almost purely as a homage to his parents and the circus, but I do think it is incredibly funny (and in character) when in Jeff Lemire’s Batman and Robin he chooses the costume design purely because it would piss Bruce off! 10/10 work and decision making, really sets the standard and expectations for every Robin going forward right here

I just realized why Bruce freaked out so hard he tried to cancel Robin when Dick Grayson was shot in the shoulder.  It was close to how his parents died.

Seeing one of his two family left getting shot and going down hard must have brought up traumatic memories. For Dick it was taking a bad hit. For Bruce it was a replay of the worst day of his life (So far).

How does that man hold it together when his kids get shot?

*remembers Dick was shot in the head in front of Batman

Pyro!reader who’s kinda a pyromaniac, but hey, listen they know their limits. Kinda….

Pyro!reader who gets scolded by Robin a lot, but despite that, he oddly cares a lot about you.

Pyro!reader who’s hair glows fiery colors with fire in their eyes. They are that bitch!

Pyro!reader who gets sprayed with fire extinguisher in the titans tower before they can get really angry. Cause when they’re angry, fire can spread real quick. They had accidentally burnt Robin once and felt guilt. Always forcing to be happy or not show negative emotions. But Robin confronted the pyromaniac that holding the emotions back only worsens it. He had already forgiven them. It ends with Robin and them to hug.

Pyro!reader who is best friends with Starfire mostly than the others. Sure cyborg and beast boy are their chaotic best friends who want to burn stuff with the pyromaniac. And Raven helps them with calming down easier. But nothing is like two people who has beautiful hair like you and Starfire. Starfire likes to think your fiery hair when your powers activate can change to blue flames which is the hottest fire ever.

Pryo!reader who has accidentally burnt their head once and had to sleep with Robin or the couch. It was mostly robin’s bed and he took the couch.

Pyro!reader who uses their powers to make their food warmer because a worker made their sandwich cold. But don’t worry! Nothing like a little heat can fix this. ……they blew up the sandwich place and was then scolded by Robin.

Pyro!reader who may seem chaotic, easily angered, clumsy, pyromaniac, and stupid. But they are one hell of a teammate and a friend who always sticks by their friends side.
