“How could I not.” Bruce replied, running his hands through his hair. “ I mean at first I was just a boy fascinated by this beautiful girl who could wield a sword and speak more languages that I could have thought possible. But, slowly you became my friend, someone to teach me those languages and how to hold my fist or my sword and with that you became more than a friend. You transformed into my beloved and by gods did I love you Talia. The moments we would spend after training when you would wrap my hands and I could finally get more than a smirk out of you. Or when we traveled past Nanda Parbat and I realized your sharp tongue was less brutal and more concerned. But just like my time in the league, I began to realize that my time with you was limited and conditional.”

“So you did not love me enough to stay. To fight. Or for gods sake to even run, with me. Instead you left in a reckless explosion and the damage you caused was to more than just a building or a few assassins. You, Bruce Wayne, managed to fracture the heart that I often denied I had.” Talia’s voice began to rise as as she went on, now facing Bruce.

“That’s not fair-”

“What’s not fair is realizing you left without a goodbye or a note. What is not fair is that I spent 13 months falling in love with you and 3 years facing the reprecussions. Did you think my father would not be angry. Angry that he spent so much time and energy into you, his heir, only for you to leave. Did you not care with whom that anger would be placed with. We’ll surprise beloved, these scars are not only from my duties.”

“Talia,I’m sorry.” Bruce said as he attempted to reach for her hand.

“ I’m sorry as well beloved, that the love you placed in me, in us was so fragile.” She whispered as she pulled away and faced back towards the playground.

OK, two ideas.

1. Danny is a clone of Ra's al ghoul.

Danny found out that he was not his parents' kid. He was a clone they made of some crack head 'immortal' who he now has control over as their 'secrets of immortality' was a big pool of corrupted ectoplasum, which he also now owned as the king of the Infinite realms.

Basically, Ra's f#cks around and finds out.

2. Damian is the son of vlad and Talia.

Damian and Talia never knew, Ra's had got the dna of a powerful creature called Plasmius and was going to use it to make a clone. Talia had mixed up the dna of Plasmius and the dna Bruce and took the wrong dna, and made Damian. There were only two reasons they never figured it out, till now, 1) burce didn't think talia was lying to him as she didn't show the signs of a lie, and 2) the batcomputer is not equipped to scane ectoplasum so it was like, 'close enough' (and vlad is from a removed part of the Wayne so he and Bruce are cousins, also vlads dna is too contaminated with ectoplasum to do much) and they just took it till Talia took Damians dna to make another clone when she saw something odd. Her son didn't have any of her beloved's dna, and she should now she had taken pictures to remember and mix it around digitally to see what possible combination of her and her beloved's trates would look like together. You now like a 'sane' person. And she realized she fucked up and sends a letter of the results to Bruce.

Damian is absolutely crushed about not being the blood son of the batman and desires to find his real blood father. Bruce and the fam are supportive, and Bruce tells him that he is still his son (you now all good things), and they go to find him, but can't, and there are only connection is that Talia mention the creature ra's stole the dna from, fights another being called phantom that resides in Amity Park.

When they confronted Danny for some kind of answers or directions, Danny just wheezes out a laugh and says "the Fruit Loop has a SON!! Sorry,'another kid,' I should say, and he doesn't pay his child support for you either?!!" (Ya, he has too much fun with it) Damian finds out he is not the only blood son of this Plasmius and not even the hair either, but now he nows his 'fathers' place of residence, and that his older sibling is a clone of phantom. "Done worry, he doesn't pay child support for her either." This dose not reassert him.

Ik Helena Wayne was retconned into Helena Burtinelli BUT in my heart she is Helena Wayne, older half sister of Damian Wayne Al-Ghoul. Whom is still Huntress, and helps the Batfam out

She would be the older sister that terrorizes Jason yet is an angel in Dick's eyes. Always has girls night with Harper, Steph, Cass, Babs, and Kate.

Thoughts on Vampire the Masquerade for a Batman AU:

A Lasombra Methuselah is in torpor beneath Gotham. That’s why Gotham is the way it is, and why it’s so hard to leave.

Batman doesn’t kill because those of clan Lasombra prefer torturing for long periods of time over out right killing.

The Lasombra Methuselah hasn’t embraced Batman yet but, like everyone who lives in Gotham for extended periods, Batman is unknowingly influenced by him.

Long ago, the Lazarus pits were made by clan Cappadocian, the original Necromancers, before their Antediluvian was diablerized. Though a Methuselah of the clan named ‘Lazerus’ may not have made them, the pits do seem to be named after him…or vice versa.

The upper echelon of The Court of Owls are ghouls. They drink Lasombra vitae, but only have very little left as it was found in ancient pottery. If they were to dig deeper where the pot was found, they would encounter the Lasombra Methuselah.

Joker is being influenced by clan Malkavian. It is possible he is so insane, despite being mortal, he can tap into the Malkavian Madness Network.

Killer Croc is a clan Tremere gargoyle experiment gone wrong. He is abandoned.

Two-face was recovered after his accident by a young Nosferatu who healed him as much as he could with his vitae. This is why he remains deformed. Nosferatu vitae deforms.

Poison Ivy is being targeted by clan Tzimisce for the embrace. Particularly by those in the clan who know Koldunic sorcery.

Isis is a Gangrel and Catwoman is unknowingly her ghoul. Isis is in charge.

Ra’s al Ghul is absolutely, knowingly, an Assimite ghoul. He uses the Lazerus pit to keep from being dependent and his domitor’s vitae. It makes him seem like a very competent, loyal ghoul that he only has to drink vitae every 50 years or so.

The Lasombra Methuselah has marked Batman as his to embrace, but other members of the Batfam are fair game for other clans.

Nightwing is being heavily monitored by clan Toreador. It is all but a done deal that he will be embraced by this clan. It’s the infighting of who gets to be the sire that’s putting the embrace off.

Red Hood is wanted for the embrace by the Assimites, but the Giovanni (the ones who diablerized Cappadocius and are the current Necromancers) say that his resurrection means he is already theirs to claim. Clan Brujah claim Red Hood is more aligned with them and will fight for him. The 3 clans don’t want to come to blows with each other, so hopefully a peaceful resolution will be met.

Tim Drake also has clans warring over him as Ventrue and Tremere both think he’s fit for their clans. Though he is too young for any real moves to be made. It’s a waiting game to see how his personality evolves as he enters adulthood.

Damian Wayne is far too young for eyes to even really be on him, but he is exceptional and the Assimites claim if they can not have Red Hood then Damian is theirs, no contest.

Barbara Gordon is wanted by the Salubri, but there are so few Salubri left that if any other clan makes claim, they couldn’t put up the proper fight. They are being stopped from making proper moves to go forward with her embrace.

Bonus: A Ventrue Methuselah sleeps beneath Metropolis.

Another bonus: Terry McGinnis is selected by a True Brujah Methuselah and brought back in time 50 years using the power of Temporis. Now Terry gets to know the rest of the Batfam and I am happy.

Damian's daemon isn't settled yet, he's still a child after all. They are still learning that in the Wayne household they are permitted to take any shape that is comfortable, and not just "appropiate" ones. At the moment the tasmanian devil is a favourite, despite it being an 'undignified' animal by Al Ghoul standarts, being too loud and overtly agressive ("It looks like a fat weasel." - "It's a marsupial, mother."). Perhaps that's exactly why they are choosing it.
