"YOU GUYS REALIZED IT TOO RIGHT? ALL HE DOES IS LIE TO OUR FACE! YOU'LL TELL ME YOU'LL LEAVE, THAT THIS IS ALL FOR DAISY, THAT WE'RE YOUR REAL FRIENDS AND NOT THOSE.. FREAKS!"
(i felt evil anyways yall give me video ideas PLSSSS)
thinking abt the worldbuilding stuff introduced in that story..
for one, we know orsterra operates on either an eight-month or twelve-month year - depending on whether the secret boss gods are included. I'm tempted to include them due to Cyrus's mention of sorcerers, and exclude Galdera entirely due to being the token Evil Guy - but a nine or even thirteen month year is interesting in it's own merit!
from windsday preceding lightsday we can infer the days are in the order of elements in-game, just how wind precedes light in-game:
so by nature of this, the typical orsterran week would be Firesday (Flamesday?) Icesday, Lightningsday (Thundersday?) Windsday, Lightsday, Darksday.
personally I'm leaning towards Flamesday due to the Sacred Flame, and Thundersday just because the former sounds a bit clunky.
From the days following this order we can also hypothesize the months follow the same order as the gods!
DIEGETIC BATTLE QUOTES!! these guys actually say all their lines to invoke their magic!!!
ok but I'm obsessed with this you understand. regional charms and magic. cultural magic. do you know how much you can extrapolate about an area by its traveler's element?? both Sunshade and New Delsta having seedier criminal underbellies, so of course their casters utilize darkness. lightning magic being passed down in S'warkii as a way to stun monsters during a hunt. coastlands merchants literally singing the wind into their sails as they work. do you see the potential here.
I have nothing to say here it's just a h'aanit moment.
Don't wake up, don't wake up
Don't wake me while I'm dreaming
Don't wake up, don't wake up
I've seen things you could not believe
There are some times whereas I felt like Alice, I don’t feel safe in this world I lived on, I want to get mad and be insane, I want to be crazy which I already am. It felt good, just don’t let my friends and family found out that all I was living was my entire imagination of a home I called Wonderland.
