Why So Rude? (Or Yuu's BF Asks Crewel for their Hand in Marriage and What Happens Next Will Shock You)

For legal reasons, this is a joke. I have been dealing with a health issue of sorts (i am not dying so no worrying ok? just v annoyed) so writing longer stuff is escaping me at the moment, enjoy some crack while I take a breather. More can be found on my masterlist here.

NO (FLOYD, Rook, and Malleus)

Crewel has been in denial about this "relationship" since it started. Not that his disapproval is really going to stop Floyd, but Crewel 100% refers to him as "Yuu's ex boyfriend" much to the confusion of... everyone who hears that. They do find some common ground in their shared interest in fashion, but Crewel has never forgiven him for his behavior in his class OR his "stealing" Yuu's heart.

Rook on the other hand he didn't have too much of an issue with until he realized just how familiar he seemed to be with his home for someone who had supposedly only been there to visit you. The twenty page letter he wrote to confess his feelings to you didn't help either once he saw the few lines where Rook wrote about the beauty of your finger prints, but he knows his disapproval means very little to someone as obsessed with romance as Rook.

Malleus... is the King of a country genuinely hostile to humans and Crewel thinks he is a little too obsessed with Yuu for his own good. He is also not a fan of how condescending Malleus is towards his disapproval, but it's an issue that will be worked out eventually. They are fighting out of love for the same person, your safety and happiness is all they really care about at the end of the day.

No, but as a joke (Sebek and Jack)

I don't think he has anything against him really, he just wants to see how important tradition and the opinion of his elders actually is to him. When Sebek begins to plead his case because he does not wish to put a wedge between Yuu and their father figure, but cannot deny his feelings for Yuu Crewel's more than happy to "change his mind." He knows you will be happy and well looked after.

Jack is a solid partner, and he is a wolf beastman who speaks of Yuu as his soulmate, his one and only, his eternal life partner and- well. Crewel just can't resist a bit of teasing, he's always been so serious and easy to fluster about these sort of things. The sheepish look on his face when he realizes Crewel has been teasing him makes it very worth it.

I can't stop you can I... (Leona, Kalim, and Rollo)

While Crewel has faith that Leona has what it takes to save his home- he lives in the Sunset Savannah. That is really far away from the Queendom of Roses ( ; ω ; ) have some pity on your poor father he can't travel that far all the time it's bad for his skin. The pressures of being the partner of royalty is something he worries over, but a smug promise from Leona to protect you soothes his worries somewhat.

The flippant way Kalim talks about the assassination attempts is not the way Crewel wants to hear about attempts on your life or heaven forbid your death. Kalim is very sympathetic to this, he has no real argument against how ignorant he was in the past, but he isn't a child anymore. Just filled with a childlike love for the world and determination to make it better. It is hard to say no to that.

Rollo is too much like Trein. His request for your hand in marriage feels like something that the old man would cry tears of genuine joy over, so of course he hates it. Unfortunately he also knows how much this teen grandfather matters to you or whatever so the answer will be yes. At least he has an excuse to visit Fleur City more now.

Give me one good reason. (Azul, Jade, Idia, and Lilia)

Azul was such a good student that he should have zero complaints that you started dating. But he also isn't blind and dislikes being pandered to, which is very much what Azul is doing here. He does wonder briefly if this is a cultural thing and he is being insensitive, but he is still exasperated enough to not immediately say yes. The strange twinkle that comes to Azul's eyes at the prospect of negotiations makes him wish he had though.

Speaking of not being blind, what does the Leech family do and is it legal? Survey says probably yes, but Crewel remembers dealing with Jade's parents while he was in school and has no desire to feed his child to the shar- err eels. Jade immediately begins to sniffle, oh how could Crewel say such bad things about him? A poor innocent eel and blah blah blah. If Jade wasn't such a good partner he'd be cooked.

Crewel understands and appreciates the effort Idia has put in to his personal growth and he has no desire to shit on that... but S.T.Y.X. and the secrecy around it is no joke. He wants to continue having a relationship with Yuu and as soon as Idia reassures him of that he has no more objections.

Lilia is an old man, a war criminal, and a father. Of course Crewel has seen how he was able to live as a student while at NRC but his own credit as a father would be under fire if he didn't object mildly. Lilia has some fun with it and has a bit more respect for him for objecting. So long as the eventual answer is yes.

Yes (Riddle, Trey, Cater, Ruggie, Jamil, and Epel)

While Crewel does have some red flag concerns concerning Riddle's mother, he has no real objections to Riddle himself. He is a perfect gentlemen and the correct amount of nervous to be asking the question. He gets full marks, as if there would ever be any other outcome.

Trey is that sort of solid option that parents really love, but he also has that tight personal relationship with Crewel from his Science Club days. He lives in the Queendom and is tight with his own family there are few better places for Yuu to be.

While Cater isn't Crewel's favorite student, he doesn't hate him or the Shaftlands. He is also not entirely unconvinced that him asking is for a magicam trend but! He has no real major objections. He is more than ready to have two kids, as soon as Cater is willing to admit he could use a stable father figure.

I don't think that Ruggie would even suggest marrige unless he's obtained that stable, high paying job he so baldy wants and has moved his Granny out of the slums. It's the perfect time to ask for permission to propose, and while the Savannah is still super far away (r.i.p. Crewel's skin) he is much more supportive of the two of you and how far you've come.

Similarly to Ruggie, I don't think Jamil would propose to Yuu unless his personal issues with Kalim and his position with the Asim's had been sorted. He wants to actually travel on his honeymoon, and Crewel is very willing to suggest the Queendom of Roses. Jamil's ego is absolutely stroked by how Crewel had zero objections but your adoptive dad doesn't get to see how smug it makes him, Jamil saves the smirks for when you say yes.

I think that Crewel seems to like all of the first years, and Epel is no exception. Sure, his request starts out well put together and polite but devolves into a dialect that leaves Crewel with no idea of what he's saying, but he has a general idea. Of course Epel has his blessing, Harveston sounds like a lovely place for Yuu to live their life in Twisted Wonderland and Epel a perfect person to keep them safe and happy.

He already planned the wedding (Ace, Deuce, Silver and Vil)

I know what you're saying. Crewel approving of Ace? Of course he does! He was in his homeroom class, and Crewel has a soft spot for trouble makers from the Queendom, he was one after all! Sure he might have had some problems with him when you first started dating, but now, when he is deathly serious saying he wants to spend the rest of his life with you? Crewel has been waiting for this since he fist saw carrot head yanking your chain.

Deuce is a much easier sell, Crewel was always a bit harsh on his intelligence, but only because he ran a tight ship and wanted him to reach for the stars. Well he has, and he has you to support him through it, Crewel is so proud of both. He and Dilla have absolutely been hypothetically planning this for years.

While Silver's curse did not endear him to Crewel for his first two years of schooling, he really grew on him when you started going out. He's glad that you've found someone who loves you as much as Silver does, really he is. Unfortunately this means he has to plan a wedding with Lilia, something they both have been doing since you started going out and never talked about. Don't worry! They only intend to fight a lot little bit.

The instant you started dating Vil Crewel entered his mother of the bride era. The permission asking was less Vil wanting to be polite and more him coming up with a way to distract him and convince him to focus on designing the clothes. Thankfully it works and no one other than his dogs have to know just how insane the prospect of his two favorite students marrying made him.

he usually keeps an eye on you throughout the day when working, even if he isn't always around because most of his time is spent in the VIP room swindling students. he'd giving you some sweet smile as he passes by and sometimes ask how everything is going- he considers himself quite lucky to be there to deal with this unpleasant situation.

azul is quickly by your side in a matter of moments as soon as he sees the guy giving even an ounce of irritation towards you. azul gives this blatant, fake, professional smile "oh dear... is there an issue here?" he'd inquire pretending like he really does care what this boy thinks. it's easy to deal with, because he is the manager of the place.

he is good at deescalating the situation and if it really comes down to it he'll bring in someone like floyd or jade to escort them out, that'll end up scaring the living daylights out of them. when they're out of sight he'll sigh shaking his head and adjusting his uniform, muttering how "troublesome" people are. you are the only thing he cared about feeling okay. he shows concern for you, but he still can't help but feel lingering frustration that you were even bothered like that in the first place. he'll tell you if there's a chance he isn't around and that happens again just get floyd or jade :).

jade leech

jade could see this situation happening from a mile away. he is painfully observant and already knew what annoyance this customer was going to bring. he was already lurking beside you ready to swoop in and save you from this guy. standing tall right behind you putting a hand on your shoulder, he'd have a calm and like azul an ever so fake look of concern for the customers wellbeing giving a "my, what seems to be the problem?".

he is so incredibly passive aggressive with the bothersome customer. showing such an unnerving look to them-- jade would actually be quite surprised if they tried to make any more of a scene, knowing who he is to others at school.

so, he manages to deal with the situation very easily. he almost finds the whole thing amusing to him if I'm being honest. chuckling, he'd give a small, graceful look of reassurance "fufu i hope you know not to take these things to heart, (name)." nevertheless, jade always seems to look out for you when he's got shifts with you. he knows how much of a bother some people can be.

floyd leech

he usually finds situations like these almost entertaining when shifts are tedious and boring- though he feels his mood goes sour and annoyed when he sees the guy making you upset and being mean. floyd is probably already next to you when you're approached by him. considering how he likes to annoy you and be clingy on shifts.

seems to have no patience and immediately gets defensive over you... like straight up gives a disgruntled expression and is like "eh? what's your problem?", "ok and?" zero formality. he has no qualms getting in people's face. the customer would most likely 1) completely backing off terrified of floyd or 2) getting even more upset because floyd just retorts back, even teasing him. if anything, it's someone like jade that needs to step in, so he doesn't do something out of line (ok as if jade is really any better???).

floyd will grumble and tell you how much that guy made him pissed off. yet his mood turns a 180 when he tries to cheer you up, he'll drag you claiming it's time for your break AND he'll even cook you up a lunch!!

Someone who doesn't pressure him into making decisions. He is someone whose independence is very important to him. On top of that, his signature spell literally revolves around choice as a concept, so he understand the importance of it. Someone as stubborn as Azul will keep his distance if anyone tries to influence his free will.

Someone who appreciates music. He's a pianist and a good singer, which are skills that require a lot of practice and hard work, something Azul is known for. Being a little unpredictable, even when you think you're outside of Jade's vision, will pique his curiosity.

Someone who plays along his little tricks and schemes. Jade is not an honest person: he always has some ulterior motive, hidden behind carefully worded questions and statements that he uses to poke and prod for information. If you try to help him and his twisted game of detective, he will certainly find you amusing, if not helpful.

He wants to know more, so don't be afraid to throw random land people things towards him every once in a while. If it's something he didn't know about, he'll tell you to prove it. Congrats, he won't leave your side for a couple of hours.

Someone who doesn't compare him to Jade. Since he's the more polite and responsible one, Floyd gets compared to his brother pretty often, and some people even assume he's the younger twin. It is exhausting to have his other half be given as example on how to behave time and time again. If you reassure him he doesn't have to be like his twin, that being Floyd is just fine, it'll pull at his heartstrings.

Someone who takes his mood swings in stride. From people thinking he is a threat to people who just find him annoying and hard to work with, no one really takes Floyd's mood swings seriously. He was mesmerized. Honestly, the thought of falling in love with someone you just met never came into Trey’s head. Whenever his siblings ask if he has a lover or not, he’ll just chuckle and say that he is far too young to have one, he’d rather focus on his studies and not romance, that’s for the future. Those thoughts left in his head as soon as he met you. You were just minding your own business— making sure that Grim and the adeuce duo won’t cause a fuss.

Once upon a time, in a prestigious school's classroom, there were two students; Azul Ashengrotto, the dormleader of Octavinelle, and the Ramshackle Prefect. Currently, you guys were sitting in the classroom playing chess.

The room was very quiet that you could probably hear footsteps from the hallway. Although, the quietness unsettled you since that meant Azul's focus in the game was intense. Your eyes looked at the chess board with nervousness as you know that he was going to win.

When you awkwardly observed the board, the white chess pieces were still on their starting places on your side.

You didn't even start the game yet.

The reason was because...

YOU DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY CHESS.

You just happened to agree at the moment since Azul looked so confident that you wanted to prove him wrong! NOW, LOOK AT WHERE THAT TOOK YOU! Your pride is on the line and you have no idea how to play chess!

As you were sweating balls, Azul's crystal sky blue orbs that change color depending on his emotions glanced at you. You could feel his confusion as he realized you weren't starting yet.

"Prefect?" He finally spoke up from the long silence.

"Y-Yeah, what's up?"

"You're taking so long. May I ask why?" When he asked that, you froze up, thinking about what to say.

You didn't want him to think you were stupid or anything. Hey, it's hard being a magicless student in a magic school where everyone is somehow talented in many ways and you're just average! You wanted to prove that you weren't just average and boring.

"You're taking so long to answer that too?" He sounded a bit sassy as he said that before sighing, "Prefect, do you not know how to pl-"

"Of course I know how to play!" You interrupted him to save your pride.

Azul looked at you awkwardly and confused, "Err.. Okay? Start then."

A long wait happened after that. Nothing moved before Azul got fed up.

"Okay, let's just switch the board-"

"Wait!" You quickly stopped his hands from turning the board around which caught him off guard. He pulled his hands back slowly, a bit of shyness appearing on his face from that one single touch.

"Prefect, I don't understand-"

"I can play chess!" You interrupted him again.

Sure you can.

Azul thought in his head.

He waited as you looked at the board, trying to figure out what move to make. Then, you finally moved your knight.

In the wrong spot.

"Prefect, that's not where the knight goes." Azul pointed out.

"Oh, shit.." You paused before putting the knight back from it's place, "Well, I knew that."

"Did you? Hm?" Azul raised his brow at you and proceeded to point to the right spot the knight was supposed to go, "Also that piece moves here. It usually moves in an L shape you see."

"Ohh, I see." You nodded which made Azul confirm that you didn't know how to play chess.

"You see, huh?" He quickly teased you, starting to smirk.

"Okay, maybe I don't know how to play."

"UNO!"

"Uno?" Azul raised his brow at you again, "Prefect, this is chess."

"Oh, shit."

During the whole time, Azul was teaching you how to play chess and so far...

"Prefect, that's not.. where the pawn.. Okay."

"Prefect, why do you have cards out?"

"Prefect, wh- what happened to my bishop? How did you-"

"Prefect, how did.. huh? I'm losing?"

"Prefect? PREFECT???"

It was going great! On the board, you were winning! Azul was only left with two pawns and a king! He also had no recollection of anything that led to that moment but that doesn't matter because you're winning!

Azul's turn was up as he struggled to move his pieces from yours. He has absolutely no idea how you're beating him. He's usually not that easy to beat but.. you happened to be doing exactly that! Are you secretly very smart? Smarter than him?

That's kind of.. attractive- I MEAN WHAT?! WHAT?! WHO SAID THAT?! NOT ME! OBVIOUSLY!

Azul thought in his head. Again.

Anyways, as he was distracted by his confusion, you were clearly strategizing in your head.

Strategizing how to distract him so you can sneakily take away his pieces.

OKAY, so maybe it's cheating but.. it's not cheating if you get caught and so far you haven't by him. Yet.

It was your turn to move and you purposely bump your hand under the table to knock one of the captured pieces onto the ground. This caught Azul's attention, although he was still facing the board.

As you leaned down to pick up the fallen piece with your left hand, your right hand was trying to take one of his pawns but Azul was swift to notice and grabbed your hand. You sat up fast when you felt his grab.

A looong stare was given from him that it made you nervous and even more nervous.

"W-Why are you holding my hand?" You suddenly asked.

Azul looked at their hands together before getting flustered, his cheeks turning red while he snatched his hand away.

"M-My apologies.. ahem.." He cleared his throat and calmed down, "But.. Your hand was.. Ah.. It was grabbing my piece. Care to explain?"

"Uh.. Well, uhhh.." You were sweating while you tried to decide to make an excuse or tell the truth.

You told the truth.

"Uhm.. So.. I was like.. taking your pieces everytime you were distracted or looking away.. because.. I kinda wanted to win?" You explained to him.

Azul sighed and smiled, "You do realize it's just a game, Prefect?"

"Yeah but like.. I just.. wanted to impress you." You replied.

Honestly, that's what you wanted to do. Impress people but it wasn't just specifically him. However, the way you said it made him think it was so his face quickly turned redder than before.

"I-Impress me?" Azul felt a bit happy but also shy after you said that, "W-Well, I-.. I think you're quite interesting in your own.. way.. You don't need to impress me since I'm.. already impressed by you."

"Oh." You were surprised by his compliment.

Azul paused and stared at you because of your dry answer, "HOW DRY! Don't you have anything else to say to me?"

"I love you?"

it's not easy being confident in love, and sometimes when you get so lost in your fears, you let anyone and anything tell you what you fear to admit, without a care for how truthful those words may be.

truthfully, if you were dead serious and broke up with him, he'd just grumble out a "whatever" and put up the façade that he doesn't care

but he'd actually be so mad at himself for pushing you away and how nothing in his life could ever go smoothly

but your eyes are swollen and tears are threatening to spill as you whisper those words

he's heard all this make believe astrology personality stuff before, but never before has he been glad of how ridiculous the idea is

you hear leona let out a big sigh, and the tension in his shoulders immediately lessens

pulls away from you to stare deep into your eyes, his face completely serious and solemn

"Herbivore, are you happy with me?" he asks. At you confused face, he repeats the question, his expression unchanging. When you nod firmly, he smiles slightly and asks again. "Then what else matters? As if I would let the souls of the past kings or some random star talk decide who I'm gonna love," he scowls at the idea. He leans forward and rests his forehead against yours. "You're stuck with me now, I'm not lettin' ya go that easily," he whispers.

He pulls you with him as he falls back onto the mattress, cradling you in his arms. "Sleep. You're not a baby anymore so don't go crying yourself to sleep," he teases, but he gently kisses the remainder of your tears away.

blubbering like a fish out of water (wait...) he's lost and hurt and confused and panicking all at the same time

the tweels walk into azuls office just to see the two of you crying and confused, azul trying to ask you why and he's sad and crying, you're stumbling over your words and sniffing and crying

ok after a glass of warm water (thank you jade) the two of you calm down to actually have a proper conversation, though azul is still very obviously tense

you explain that he's a Pisces and that means you two not compatible with how sensitive he is and he's a water sign and so on

azul is very confused about how stars can determine people's personalities, but he does fit the description of a Pisces, and if his beloved Angelfish is stressed over astrology, then it must be a reliable tell (azul no)

he asks for you to give him some time, to actually understand your reasonings and of course, to give him a chance and prove to you how willing he is to work out a relationship with you

the next day, azul visits you with very deep dark eye circles, but the glint in his eyes shows full determination and confidence

An hour later, you sit completely convinced that astrology all but supports your relationship with Azul, and you can't help smile and jump into his arms. Azul, sleep deprived and running on anxiety, somehow manages to not fall over, but soon leans his weight on you. "See? We're perfectly compatible with each other," he murmurs against your ear. His arms wrap around you, squeezing you gently, "so please don't leave me, I wouldn't know what to do without you..."

eyes wide slowly blinking like "... I beg your pardon?"

honestly jade doesn't look that surprised/hurt

but really he's suppressing the turmoil of emotions inside him

ever the logical thinker, he'd ask a calm "May I ask why, my dear?"

and you surprise him again with flowing tears and a trembling voice

though he's listening very patiently as he's diligently wiping away your tears with his handkerchief, soft careful movements to avoid causing discomfort

asks questions when he doesn't understand what in astrology is going on, genuinely making an effort to understand this field of academics

in a sense, he's distracting you from being upset with academic discussion

okay, he's a Scorpio, which makes him good at manipulating people??? and he's very bold??

now while he finds all this very interesting and slightly accurate, it still feels pretty whimsical that the time you're born in determines your personality

particularly as he's so different to Floyd! and they were born at the same time!

whichever the case, the more pressing issue is his dearest lover sniffing and whining that you could never be happy together with how incompatible you are

he pulls you into his chest for a bit, rubbing soothing circles into your back and leaving gentle kisses you until your sniffing quiets down

"Dearest, won't you look at me?" he murmurs against your ear. You look up to see the most tender expression you had ever seen on him, his mismatched eyes filled with warmth and affection.

"While it is indeed extremely unfortunate that our star signs are incompatible, I don't believe there's a single person out there who could love me better than you do," he says as he kisses your hand. "I promise that your happiness will always be my utmost priority, so won't you continue to love this silly eel?"

"Now, while I will always find you enchantingly beautiful, I do believe a smile shines the brightest on my lovely pearl," he smiles while brushing the remaining wetness away from your eyes.

he's flushing up instantly and every fiber of his being yearned to turn away but your teary gaze makes him stop squirming

"You know," he begins, his voice earnest and steady, "everyday, I can't believe how lucky I am to have you in my life. If you're unworthy of me, then I'm unworthy of you."

He lets out a chuckle, that rumble echoing right into your ear. "I suppose I can put those star destroyer blueprints on hold, at least for the time being. But if the stars ever mess with us again, it's game over for them."

It was one day in the VIP room that you thought about how easy to carry Azul probably was. After all, he had a small frame despite his average height, and he was skinny. You wished you could carry him. But then you remembered that you two were dating, so you could carry him in private without getting disappeared by the fish Mafia.

So, you acted.

"Hey, Azul!" You said. "Can you come here for a sec?"

"Hmm?" Azul replied, though he did what you asked. "Is there something you'd- Ah!"

Azul yelped as you picked him up into a bridal carry, one arm at his legs while the other one supported his back.

"W-What is this?" He asked, more like shrieked. You didn't know his voice could go that high. Thankfully for you, the redness of his face told you it was out of embarrassment rather than anger.

"I felt like carrying you, Azul, and I acted on it. No big deal. You like this too, which is why I haven't put you down."

At the implication that he liked being carried by you, Azul stammered out a bunch of failed attempts at excuses, before finally sighing in resignation.

"Hmph," he said, stubbornly refusing to look at you. "Think whatever you please."

"Okay," you said, and then you kissed him, because you could.

You could barely make out his heart racing as his face miraculously turned even redder.

"Getting flustered by just a little affection, Azul? What happened to that suave, charming businessman from a few minutes ago?"

Azul was normally poised, always catching you off guard and cooing at your reactions. Which made it more fun when you got to catch him off-guard.

"Don't," he hissed, though he didn't look very intimidating when he was clinging onto you for dear life, redder than a cherry.

"Fine, fine," you said. "I'll stop teasing you for now."

Finally, you let him go, though you instantly missed the feeling of his body clung to yours. Azul smoothed his hair, starting to regain his composure.

"So," you started. "Can I do that again?"

In short, he just thinks you are like a well-developed, well-animated character from a video game meant to get high sales.

This man hates going out, so he most likely saw you fight either during p.e. that Ortho forced him to attend, or because he was lucky enough to be out and witness it

Exam Week was coming up at Night Raven College. Every student was busy studying for the tests. Some could be found in the library for a convenient ambiance. Some were in the courtyard for a breath of fresh air. And some were inside their own rooms where they were most comfortable. That includes you.

Currently, you were sitting on top of a big, plush bed. A few books, notebooks, and other stationary items could be seen on the side. Sitting in front of you was your boyfriend, Azul. He was holding a study guide he made specifically for you as he bombarded you with questions to test your knowledge for a certain subject you had difficulty with.

The perks of having a highly clever and diligent boyfriend? He gives you very detailed notes and patiently helps you study. The catch? Well, there is always a price when it comes to dealings with Azul. But don't worry, he won't ask much of you.

"But fret not, sweetheart. To make sure you settle your payment, I'll willingly lend you a hand for free. Or in this case, my lips." His words did nothing to help your flustered state as he smirked at you once more.

"If you don't start giving it to me, I'll just steal those kisses from you." With those words, he closed the gap between you and gave you a fervent kiss on the lips. Your eyes fluttered shut while you kissed him back with the same intensity. You felt him pull you to sit on his lap as you wrapped your arms around his neck.

It seemed like time stopped for the two of you as you stayed in that position. Body pressed against each other. Eyes shut closed. Lips savoring the soft feeling of the other.

The kiss lasted for a minute before Azul pulled back hesitantly. As you opened your eyes, you noticed there was a certain gleam in his eyes as he stared back at you with a dangerous glint, as if you were his prey.

"One down, ninety-nine more to go." His voice was low and husky. He gave you his signature smirk before leaning down and smacking his lips hungrily onto yours.

So maybe he was asking for more than just a few kisses.

This man would try his damn best to keep his composure cuz MAN I just have a feeling he'd melt at all the attention you're giving him

With the stuff people have been saying about him around NRC, he's used to the sarcasm and repeated remarks about his actions. So when he hears your genuine comments, it honestly just gives him a sense of relief that you honestly got his back without any strings attached.

Speaking of, Like with the first line, Azul would request that you hug him in private be it in his office, when the twins are away, or in your guys' rooms.

To him, its a rather personal and tender thing since we're all aware of how conscious he is of his weight/body. So allowing you to do that, just shows how much trust he puts in you <3

Even though you both are quite the opposite of each other, he actually appreciated how you were competent, unlike the majority of his dormitory. As a result, you both became very close. You would bake sweets in exchange for some tea leaves in Heartslabyul. Your sweets were a bit richer and sweeter than Trey’s… one could describe it as sinful.

Once, at an unbirthday party, you were discussing something with Riddle. It was about the intricacy of the china they used. However, Ace interrupted you. You put on a smile, but threw a fork at the first year as a reminder to never interrupt you. The Housewarden was most definitely shocked, but it was about time someone shut Ace up.

When Riddle introduced you to the dormouse in the teapot, he noticed that you hid behind him. You told him with a nervous smile that you were scared of rats and mice, and he quickly led you away so that you wouldn’t be freaked out anymore.

You were a very smooth-talker, and with words alone you were able to sweep the Heartslabyul Housewarden off of his very feet. You served him as though you were a measly servant to the Queen of Hearts, but you were more to him than that. No, one day you would sit beside him on his throne and rule alongside him, just like you reign over his heart.

Leona Kingscholar

For once, someone who’s actually smart. You can utilize your brain, and that’s what he likes about you. After all, with the ADeuce and Grim trio always causing trouble, he always gets woken up in a very rude manner.

He remembers the time where he actually went down to the cafeteria and you accompanied him. Your company was enjoyable and you started talking about something you were passionate about, when Ruggie interrupted you to announce that food was ready. You threw your knife at the hyena with a polite smile, asking him to never interrupt you again.

Leona always calls you ‘herbivore’ because you like to drink a lot of tea, even though you are a demon. Eventually, it gets to your last nerve and you throw hands with the Housewarden of Savanaclaw. You obviously come out victorious, and Leona swears he fell for you right then and there.

You both tend to tease a bit, but when you tease each other it turns into flirting. Anyone would get flustered with what you both say to each other, but you smooth-talk each other as though it was as easy as breathing air. It becomes a verbal battle between the two of you, and neither of you have the intention of waving a white flag.

Azul Ashengrotto

You both are definitely shady, that’s for certain. You remind him a lot of Jade, with your loyalty to the people who benefit you the most. However, you were better in a profitable sense. You moved with an inhuman speed and served customers with a smile.

One moment comes to mind, and it’s funny for him to think about. You were discussing the benefits of adding different types of tea to the menu with Azul, when Floyd shouted ‘SERPENT’. You, not enjoying being interrupted, threw a fork at the eel. You then just calmly returned to your conversation like you didn’t just pin Floyd to the wall by an eating utensil.

There’s also the fact that you threw hands with Floyd because he wouldn’t stop calling you serpent. That was a very eventful day at the Mostro Lounge, with you pressing your foot into the eel’s back in victory. Azul is just standing there in complete shock as you ‘politely’ remind Floyd that your name is Y/N.

You like to tease the Housewarden of Octavinelle a lot, and it makes him so freaking flustered. You’re able to say things that border on flirting, and it makes his face redder than the Princess of the Sea’s hair. He usually can’t speak to you at all without stuttering, so this is just the cherry on top of the Shy Azul Sundae.

Kalim Al-Asim

You were the calm in Kalim’s storm. You and Jamil instantly bonded over the fact that the two of you were the only ones who were able to talk some sense into him, also you both served him. However, Kalim seemed more attached to you than to Jamil.

He remembers the time where he invited you, Ace, Deuce, and Grim to Scarabia and you both were caught in conversation about the tea leaves he had imported from the Scalding Sands. Ace had decided that he would interrupt you by stating that the topic was boring when a fork cut off individual hairs as it zoomed by. You, with a ‘polite’ smile, told him that it was rude to speak when someone else is talking.

During that same visit, Ace and Grim kept calling you a bunch of different names. Eventually, you get fed up and pack them both up like your suitcase when you go on vacation. Kalim definitely was shocked at the amount of strength you had and how short the battle was. 

He doesn’t really understand what you are trying to do when you try to smooth-talk him. Jamil often has to explain when the Housewarden asks him, then Kalim feels so dumb and oblivious for not getting what you said the first time around. Maybe if you keep flirting, he will eventually be able to comprehend the connotations.

Vil Schoenheit 

I think you both make a great match. You both are very temperate and polite to those who are polite back. He thinks you’re beautiful, and you agree that he is the fairest of them all. He also genuinely enjoys your company since you don’t have any weird personality quirks. You seem relatively normal.

Once, while Vil was doing Epel’s skincare and makeup routine, you were telling him about how beneficial a certain tea was to the body and soul. Unfortunately, Epel decided that he was going to interrupt by loudly exclaiming that he didn’t want to be pretty. You threw a fork that barely missed him, and you told him with a smile that it was rude to interrupt. Vil was in complete shock at the precision you had.

Rook loved to call you by different names. However, it was annoying since you were Y/N and not any other name (besides maybe ‘darling’ by Vil). You gladly used your tail to whip the hunter out of the tree he was in and make him land in the dirt. Vil definitely scolded you, complaining about how he would have to mend the uniform.

You both like to smooth-talk each other. Vil doesn’t like admitting defeat in matters such as these, so he gives you a run for your money. However, you are a demon who has had to do these kinds of things for the benefit of your home. You eventually get him to cave, and you quietly celebrate your victory with a warm cup of tea.

Idia Shroud

You remind him of the demon butler from Adhere To Me!, and he reminds you of Levi. He just thinks you’re so freaking cool and awesome. You both are smart in completely different topics, so you will do your best to try and understand the basics in technology. As a result, he will try to research a few different tea leaves and their properties.

There was one time where Crowley called a Housewarden meeting and you tried to get some of your thoughts and opinions into the conversation, but everyone kept talking over you. Eventually, you threw a fork and snagged Crowley's mask off just to get everyone’s attention. Idia just watched through the tablet camera, and he was in complete shock.

At the same point, Leona decided to further interrupt you and started his sentence by calling you ‘herbivore’. It struck through your last nerve and you lunged at the Housewarden of Savanaclaw. Idia timed it, and it was exactly 5 seconds until you were brushing off your clothes and Leona had a black eye and was down on the ground.

If you tried to smooth-talk Idia, he would just sit there with red hair and a red face. He could never dream of reciprocating the flirtations, considering he is way too shy to speak to you most of the time. Ortho often has to use a fan so that he could cool down his older brother.

Malleus Draconia

You both are very temperate, and you act a lot alike. However, you swear to serve him for as long as he shall let you. It’s very taboo, a Prince in love with his housekeeper. However, most of Diasomnia supports this union… except for Sebek.

That half-fae loved to interrupt every single conversation you have with Malleus, even if it really wasn’t any of his business anyway. Eventually, while Sebek was distracted by the sound of his own voice, you had thrown a fork so fast that he almost didn’t see it. He wasn’t able to move in time, so it nicked his cheek and drew blood. You, with a kind tone, reminded him that it was rude to interrupt. Malleus had to hold back his laughter.

Sebek also loved to call you ‘demon’, not recalling the negative connotation it gave someone. You eventually had enough and threw hands. In 3 seconds, you had pinned the knight to the ground with your foot to his neck, heel digging into his Adam’s apple. Malleus made a comment about how Sebek might not be worthy of being his knight if he was so easily defeated by someone with the training of a butler.

Flirting with Malleus can go one of three ways: he gets confused, he reciprocates, or both. Demons and dragons weren’t all that different, but courting was where you could definitely see the difference. You had made a pact with him so you would be tied to him, he had given you the heart of his hoard, and that was that. It was very anticlimactic, but it worked out for the two of you.

♡ Leona is soft shy lion or a badass (yasss slay queen, we stan you‼️) and sassy at the same time (Have you seen the way he stans with his hand on his hip?)

How would the TW cast react about them being kidnapped?

Anon this is such a fun theme for headcanons!! We have a couple of “darker” themed ones in the ask box, and I’m really looking forward to all of these, but I think this would be a very good start. Going through the list right now… I see how horrible some of these guys are lol their poor kidnappers.

Riddle – we’ve seen the way he behaved when the Charon squad came to abduct him, so I can imagine this is how he’s going to act in any kidnapping scenario. He’ll start yelling, swearing, attacking and trying to free himself. He is smart, but he is also very easy to trigger, so he is probably going to tire himself with his tantrum… not the best strategy.

Ace – he’d be very confused because why would anyone even want to kidnap him? He’s just some guy! In any case, he’ll try to charm his way out of this one, but since he’s definitely going to be in quite a panicked state, he won’t succeed. Still, he’ll annoy his kidnappers with his chatter, so they’re going to gag him pretty quickly. At least this is going to give him time to think about a plan…

Deuce – he’ll try to escape. He can’t really come up with some kind of smart strategy, but he is physically strong and very fast + can endure a lot, so this is Deuce’s strong points. If he gets even a tiny little moment of freedom, he’s going to run as fast as he can. If his kidnappers are smart, they’re going to shackle his ankles first. He is also very good at fighting…

Trey – he’d look so out of place… aside from obligatory “hey, let me out!”, it’s like he doesn’t fight back at all. In actuality, Trey is going to try to play his cards smart and start conserving energy and thinking about a runaway plan instantly. Oh maybe he’ll decide that it’s better to just sit there and wait until he’s rescued.

Cater – oh he’ll talk a lot. A lot of uncontrollable nervous chatter that’s going to make the kidnappers gag Cater even faster than they gagged Ace lol But if he’s lucky and has any access to any phone, he’ll use it as his means to escape. If there is no signal or phone in reach though and no way to obtain it, he’s probably going to give up quickly…

Leona – he’ll scoff and tease the kidnappers about the fact that they’ve kidnapped the wrong brother + that his family doesn’t care about him and that if they want to use him for money, they’re out of luck. He could however give them plenty of money if they free him… Unfortunately, this plan won’t work and he’ll just fall asleep lol Maybe he’ll think about a runaway plan if he wakes up and no one is there to rescue him yet. He says that he won’t get rescued but he still kind of expects it.

Ruggie – out of the entire cast, he’ll be the one to start thinking about the runaway plan the fastest. He hasn’t been kidnapped before, but he knows how this type of thing works, so he’ll try to either cooperate or try to talk his way out of the situation. He doesn’t care what he has to do to get free, he’ll do it no matter what. Ruggie is a survivor 💪

Jack – he is a wild beast, he won’t even talk to the kidnappers even if they want him to cooperate. He’ll just try to break out, even if it means that he has to fight everyone, break chains, do anything he has to do as long as it isn’t implying any kind of compromise with these assholes. He would despise them more than anything.

Azul – his initial instinct would be to start fighting back, because the feeling of losing control is one of the most triggering things to Azul (of course, anyone would be triggered by kidnapping, but still lol), but he would also calm down rather quickly and try to figure out who the other party is. He’ll talk to kidnappers, ask them leading questions, go through the list of his ill-wishers in his head and try to think who is trying to take revenge on him. Then, based on his conclusions, he’ll either try to bribe the kidnappers (he won’t pay them of course, he’ll just ask the Tweels to get rid of them), to talk his way out of the situation, to fight his way out of the situation or to stay put waiting for the Tweels to come and save him. Even though the situation is shocking, Azul is overly controlling and paranoid, so he is always prepared for something like this.

Floyd – he’d be so ANNOOOOOYED. “Hey, this isn’t funny” is a line that comes to mind first. It’s not that difficult for him to escape, and he’s probably going to do it as soon as possible. He doesn’t like being tied down, he doesn’t like people talking about him as if he isn’t in the room, he doesn’t like the fact that when Azul and Jade come to rescue him they’re going to make fun of him. So he has to go on a rampage before they do~

Jade – he also won’t be amused about the whole thing. It’s also quite easy for him to escape, but he’ll actually try to humour himself with this whole situation. He’ll probably sit there and talk to the kidnappers, messing with their minds, saying crude and horrifying things, metaphorically picking their brains with needles and honestly having way too much fun for someone who’s been kidnapped. He is honestly the wrong Leech to try to kidnap… he’ll leave the kidnappers traumatised lol

Kalim – even though the initial reaction would be shock and terror, he’ll try to calm himself down quickly: he has been instructed what to do if he’s kidnapped. So breathe calmly, avoid conversations and wait for Jamil or the guards from the Asim family to come and rescue him. Even though he’d have the urge to do something stupid like try to talk to the kidnappers and stuff.

Jamil – he would feel so sick, like the sickest mix of “oh no, where is Kalim” and “this is all the Asim’s fault”. Somehow, even when he is kidnapped, Kalim is the first person on his mind, which isn’t really illogical: if they targeted Jamil, it’s absolutely related to Kalim in some way. He won’t do anything stupid, he’ll scan the surroundings and try to figure out what’s going on as fast as possible and then either wait for the kidnappers to lose vigilance or try to charm his way out of there – his unique magic is perfect for that, and he’d check if his kidnappers are aware of it.

Vil – he is a verrry intriguing one. Because Vil could be very physical and aggressive, and he has both the strengths and stamina to pull off an escape and fight the kidnappers with just his fists and kicks. But he is also such a good actor that I almost want him to stay kidnapped for a little longer just so he could do his charms for his advantage too. He could pretend to be sick, or to be in a complete utter despair, playing the role of a gentle spoiled magicam superstar that’s never done a single difficult thing in his life. Whatever would suit the situation more.

Rook – he’d be scarily calm. He might even chat with the kidnappers in such a friendly Rook way that he’ll just freak them out lol But he also might just be very serious but unbothered about the whole thing. He studies his surroundings, he studies his kidnappers’ behaviour patterns, he knows what to do and when to do it to run away. He’ll be alright. He’s always better than his kidnappers at literally everything.

Epel – he’ll get very feisty lol and he’ll try everything: he’ll get aggressive at first and try to fight everyone, then he’ll calm down and start quietly crying, then he’ll start to tug on the kidnappers’ heartstrings with how pathetic and weak he looks, then he’ll try to bite them and fight them again, then he’ll get punched again, it’s a very long journey for Epel.

Idia – oh poor Idia, he’ll give up immediately. He won’t be doing anything physical – he knows there is no way that he’d escape. The only thing he could do is sit there in complete terror hoping that Ortho will come and save him soon. Wait, there is one other thing he could do – make his situation even worse because his response to stress is so start irritating people by belittling and trolling them. He could be in a very rough shape when Ortho finds him because of that…

Ortho – lasers go brrrrrrrrrrrr, I’m sure it won’t be an issue for him lol But if the kidnappers find a way to turn him off, then, well… I guess he’s not going to have much of a reaction in that case :(

Lilia – oh it’s going to be so easy for him to run away it’s not even funny lol He definitely has some experience with stuff like that, even though it hasn’t happened in quite a while. He knows both how to manipulate/emotionally and verbally abuse his kidnappers, and how to escape in a sneaky manner, but you know what? He’s not going to do anything because he wants to see if Silver and Sebek figure out how to find and free him first.

Silver – he is going to be alert and serious, and he’ll probably know what to do because he’s been trained to handle situation like this. So he would be surprisingly badass about this whole thing, but I’d like to note than in contrast to all the other guys who would be sassy and aggressive towards the kidnappers, Silver is going to be very earnest. He might also fall asleep at a lot of inappropriate times lol

Sebek – his initial reaction is similar to Riddle’s, but he is also trained enough to stop himself at some point during his tantrum and start actually thinking about what he’s going to do. Just like Jack, he wouldn’t want to converse with the kidnappers, but he’ll gladly tell them about how worthless they are. They’ll dismiss him as if he’s just some righteous idiot, but then Sebek is going to have his badass moment lol He really is a bit of an idiot, but he is a good soldier.

Malleus – he would be both confused, amused and a little bit offended. He would be more offended if he wasn’t so amused by the kidnappers’ stupidity. They surely don’t know who they’re picking a fight with, these pathetic fools. Malleus is going to humour them for a couple of hours before smiling at them menacingly, breaking the chains/rope and going absolutely ballistic on these idiots.
