HOW TO GIVE PERSONALITY TO A CHARACTER
Giving personality to a character is an essential part of character development in storytelling, whether you're writing a novel, screenplay, or creating a character for a role-playing game. Here are some steps and considerations to help you give personality to your character:
Understand Their Backstory:
Start by creating a detailed backstory for your character. Where were they born? What were their childhood experiences like? What significant events have shaped their life? Understanding their past can help you determine their motivations, fears, and desires.
2. Define Their Goals and Motivations:
Characters often become more interesting when they have clear goals and motivations. What does your character want? It could be something tangible like a job or a romantic relationship, or it could be an abstract desire like happiness or freedom.
3. Determine Their Strengths and Weaknesses:
No one is perfect, and characters should reflect this. Identify your character's strengths and weaknesses. This can include physical abilities, intellectual skills, and personality traits. Flaws can make characters relatable and three-dimensional.
4. Consider Their Personality Traits:
Think about your character's personality traits. Are they introverted or extroverted? Shy or outgoing? Kind or selfish? Create a list of traits that describe their character. You can use personality frameworks like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or the Big Five Personality Traits as a starting point.
5. Give Them Quirks and Habits:
Quirks and habits can make a character memorable. Do they have a specific way of speaking, a unique fashion style, or an unusual hobby? These details can help bring your character to life.
6. Explore Their Relationships:
Characters don't exist in isolation. Consider how your character interacts with others. What are their relationships like with family, friends, and enemies? These relationships can reveal a lot about their personality.
7. Show, Don't Tell:
Instead of explicitly telling the audience about your character's personality, show it through their actions, dialogue, and decisions. Let the reader or viewer infer their traits based on their behavior.
8. Create Internal Conflict:
Characters with internal conflicts are often more engaging. What inner struggles does your character face? These can be related to their goals, values, or past experiences.
9. Use Character Arcs:
Consider how your character will change or grow throughout the story. Character development is often about how a character evolves in response to the events and challenges they face.
10. Seek Inspiration:
Draw inspiration from real people, other fictional characters, or even historical figures. Study how people with similar traits and backgrounds behave to inform your character's actions and reactions.
11. Write Dialogue and Inner Monologues:
Writing dialogue and inner monologues from your character's perspective can help you get inside their head and understand their thought processes and emotions.
12. Consider the Setting:
The setting of your story can influence your character's personality. For example, a character who grows up in a war-torn environment may have a different personality than one raised in a peaceful, affluent society.
13. Revise and Refine:
Don't be afraid to revise and refine your character as you write and develop your story. Characters can evolve and change as the narrative unfolds.
Remember that well-developed characters are dynamic and multi-faceted. They should feel like real people with strengths, weaknesses, and complexities. As you write and develop your character, put yourself in their shoes and think about how they would react to various situations. This will help you create a compelling and believable personality for your character.

Fathers and Their Children Part I
The Twisted Wonderland boys as fathers.
Third year Second year First year
Trey Clover
Trey will be very attentive to his children, always trying to create a safe and comfortable environment for them. He will always be there to support, guide and help, especially in difficult situations.
He will love his sons with all his heart, but will show it through actions rather than words. He is not one to over-express emotions, but his love and care will be evident in his daily actions.
Trey will try to be a good mentor to his sons, passing on his wisdom and life experience to them. He will try to teach them to be independent, responsible and honest, while not forgetting to show tolerance and understanding for their mistakes. He will patiently explain and repeat important things, but if his children cross the line, he will show that there are consequences. However, he will approach this with thoughtfulness and consideration, avoiding harsh punishments.
Trey will try to set a good example for his children. He will teach them honesty, responsibility, hard work, but also the importance of rest and not forgetting about fun and simple pleasures in life.
He will probably be actively involved in creating family traditions. These can be shared activities, such as baking or going for walks, which will strengthen family bonds and create an atmosphere of comfort. Despite his reserved nature, Trey loves to add playfulness to his relationships with children. He may be the one who will arrange little pranks or jokes to amuse his sons, adding an element of lightness to their lives.
Trey will always plan for the future of his sons, providing them not only with everything they need, but also preparing them for adulthood. He may be the one who helps with their studies, practical skills and moral values.
When his sons face difficulties or worries, Trey will always be there to listen and support. He will show the importance of openly sharing your feelings and not being afraid to show vulnerability.
Cater Diamond
Cater would try his best to be the coolest and funniest father for his daughter. He would arrange joint photo shoots with her, shoot funny videos and could even start her own Magicam account (under strict control, of course). His daughter would definitely know all the memes and trends thanks to him.
If his daughter wants to take a beautiful photo, Cater will set up a real mini-photo studio with perfect lighting and angles. And if she is a teenager and is embarrassed to be photographed, he will patiently wait for the moment when she herself asks him for a photo.
If someone offends his daughter, Cater will not get into a fight, but he will be able to put the person in their place with words so carefully and subtly that the offender will not have a chance. He can also twist the situation on social networks so that the offender himself will regret his behavior.
Cater knows how to make any event special. Whether it's a birthday, graduation, or just a tough day, he'll find a way to cheer up his daughter, whether it's a cute gift, an unexpected picnic, or a whole surprise party.
Cater is a sensitive person, and he always notices if his daughter is in a bad mood. He won't pressure her, but he'll gently lead her into a conversation or just offer to spend time together until she decides to share her worries.
He'll definitely be the dad who buys his daughter a teddy bear the size of a room or suddenly brings her her favorite dessert just because "that's how he felt." But if she starts to be capricious or demanding too much, Cater will find a clever way to explain why this is not an option without abruptly prohibiting her.
His daughter will definitely inherit his love for jokes and sarcasm. They can organize mini-competitions for the funniest memes or come up with funny pranks for family and friends.
Does your daughter want to be an artist? Cater will find her the best materials. Want to become a musician? Here's a cool guitar! The main thing is that she's happy.
Leona Kingscholar
Leona was initially reluctant to become a father. He doubted that he would succeed, and in general did not see any particular need for it. However, when the children were born, his attitude gradually changed... Fate laughed at him and gave him not one child, but two - twins. And although he always says that he treats them equally, it is noticeable that he has a special weakness for his daughter.
Leona loves to play chess with the children, but never gives in. They lose time after time, get angry, sometimes even cry, but each time they demand revenge. He is proud of their stubbornness, but does not say it out loud. The twins inherited his cunning and ability to manipulate, and when they want to get something, they act subtly and harmoniously, but Leona always sees through them.
He does not like it when children scream loudly or demand attention. Usually he just silently picks them up and sits them down next to him, sometimes even lazily throwing them over his shoulder if they are too active.
Cheka used to be the nephew who pestered Leona, and now Farena suffers from the pranks of his nephews. "It's karma," Farena says with a chuckle, watching the children make insidious plans against their uncle.
The cutest moment in the house is when all three lions (Leona and the twins) simultaneously turn their heads to the sound of their mother's voice, and everyone's right ear twitches in unison.
Leona is not particularly strict, but if someone dares to offend his children, he will turn into a real beast. Once, one of his peers teased his daughter - after that, the child never appeared in the Kingskolar family's field of vision again.
Leona can be tough and serious, but when it comes to sleep, the children have no problem climbing into his lap, settling down like on a pillow. At first he grumbled, but then he resigned himself. When the kids cause chaos, he will never admit that it was his idea. Even if it is written on his face that it was his idea.
Vil Schoenheit
Vil surrounds his daughter with care and love, but at the same time brings her up with discipline. He does not tolerate sloppiness, laziness or rudeness, so from childhood he instills in her a sense of responsibility.
His daughter's clothes are always impeccably chosen: only high-quality fabrics, stylish styles and no "childish tasteless kitsch". Even if it's just pajamas, they fit perfectly and emphasize her refined taste (according to Vil).
From early childhood, he teaches her how to properly care for her skin and hair. For example, before going to bed, they have a special ritual: soft creams, combing her hair and, of course, a bedtime story (but not just a story, but something from the classics, with an aesthetic style).
Vil can be strict and even a little demanding, but if someone offends his daughter, that person will regret it. He will not tolerate rudeness, rudeness or, God forbid, bullying towards her. If necessary, he will personally talk to the parents of the "offender" or even the teachers.
Vil will not force her to pursue a career in the fashion industry, but he will definitely teach her a sense of taste and style. If she wants to become someone far from the arts, he will support her, but will still nag a little if her clothes are "non-expressive".
Despite his majestic image, when he is alone with his daughter, he can allow himself to be soft and even a little silly. If she asks, he can dress up in a crown and participate in tea parties with stuffed animals.
Although he always holds himself proudly and gracefully, there are times when he just sits and watches his daughter sleep, realizing how quickly she is growing up. Sometimes he wishes she could remain his little girl for a little while longer.
Everyone thinks that Vil is the boss in their family. But in reality, his little princess can get anything from him - if she approaches with the right approach. He often tells her that she should value herself, never settle for less, and be independent. Vil wants his daughter to grow up to be a strong, elegant, and respected woman who knows her worth.
Rook Hunt
Rook is a father who admires every achievement of his children, even the most insignificant ones. First step? "Oh, mon amour, look at this graceful hunter growing up!" First scribble? "This is a real masterpiece!" He literally turns every event into a celebration.
Like a true hunter, he teaches children not only ordinary things, but also how to be observant, to feel nature, people and the world around them. He could, for example, discreetly follow their adventures to make sure they are safe, but at the same time give them the freedom to explore.
If his son and daughter participates in competitions, concerts, even in ordinary school activities - Rook will support them as if they were the main characters of the world arena. Moreover, his applause and cries of support are so loud and heartfelt that they attract the attention of everyone around.
Rook does not impose his point of view on children, but, on the contrary, helps to reveal their natural talents. If the older child wants to be an explorer, and the younger one an artist, he will find ways to develop their abilities, creating the perfect environment for them.
He teaches his children to appreciate beauty, whether it is beauty in people, in nature, or in art. They can spend hours walking in the forest, listening to their father describe the grace of every detail, be it a flower petal or the movement of an animal.
Despite his enthusiasm, Rook can be strict if his children do something unfair or are lazy in realizing their potential. He will not yell or punish, but his disappointment will be felt more than any punishment. âMon enfant, how can this be? Does a hunter stop when he is faced with a challenge?â
Rook allows his children to try, make mistakes, and learn. He does not limit them, but at the same time teaches them responsibility for their actions. He could let them go on an adventure, but somehow still keep an eye on their safety. Whether it's hunting trips (not necessarily actual hunting, perhaps just nature watching) or morning gatherings with a cup of tea and conversations about life, Rook will create family traditions that will be passed on to the children.
Idia Shroud
After learning that he is going to have a child, Idia will go through several stages: denial, panic, and then... total study of the issue. He will reread all possible guides, create files with parenting tactics, and even try to program Ortho as a nanny.
He will be afraid that the boy will follow in his footsteps - become just as unsociable and withdrawn. Because of this, Idia will try, albeit awkwardly, to support him in his social development. For example, instead of dissuading his son from going for walks, he will push him to go out. However, if the son refuses, he will immediately say: "Well, okay, actually it's fine at home...".
If the son gets interested in games, comics or technology, Idia will immediately become his main supplier of new products and rare collector's editions. He will justify himself by saying that he is simply "investing in his education," but in reality, he is pleased to see his son engaged.
He worries that his son will be embarrassed by him or think that he is weak. Because of this, he will occasionally try to appear "cool" - for example, by demonstrating his hacking skills or trying to play the role of a formidable parent. However, this rarely works, because his son has long known that his dad is a kind, albeit anxious genius.
If someone offends his child, Idia will first find information about this person, hack their accounts, and then come up with a cunning revenge. He will not directly deal with the offender, but will create a situation in which the offender himself will be scared. If the situation requires personal intervention, he will gather his strength and do it - even if it will make him look extremely awkward.
He can sometimes forget himself and treat his son like a playmate, and not like a child. For example, she will suggest him to scold the NPC instead of solving the problem in reality. But if his son really needs support, Idia will put all fears aside and help, even if it means leaving her comfort zone. When her son falls asleep next to her, when they just sit and are silent, when Idia understands that his boy trusts him - at such moments he feels that maybe he is not so bad at this "game" called parenthood.
Malleus Draconia
Malleus is the king of Briar Valley, and his son is the heir. He understands the importance of education and responsibility, so he will teach his child discipline, respect for others and traditions. However, he will never be cruel - if his son makes a mistake, he will not yell or scold him, but calmly explain what the mistake was.
He can calmly listen to a million questions in a row, even if it is something like "Why do I have horns, and my mother does not?" or "And if I eat a precious stone, will I become stronger?" Malleus is reserved and rarely loses his temper, so it is difficult to upset him, even if his son angers him with something.
He will not allow anyone to harm his son - not enemies of the kingdom, not magical creatures, not even overly persistent teachers. If someone dares to threaten the heir of Briar Valley... it is better to pray to them.
Malleus understands that his son has inherited the power of dragon magic from him, so he trains him from an early age. He will proudly watch the child's first spells and gently correct him if something goes wrong.
Despite his seriousness, Malleus does not miss a moment to spend time with his son. He can throw him in the air, ride him on his shoulders, or even let him pull his tail.
Malleus rarely shows his feelings in words, but he conveys them through actions. If the child is afraid of the dark or sleeps poorly, he quietly sings an ancient lullaby that his mother sang to him. Perhaps this is even a family tradition, and now this song is passed down from generation to generation.
As a king, he is busy with the affairs of the kingdom, and sometimes he has to leave the child alone. If he sees that his son is sad or lonely, his heart squeezes with guilt. He always compensates for this - brings gifts, takes his son with him to important ceremonies or just spends an evening with him, telling ancient stories.
He is the first time in this role, so sometimes he makes mistakes. He can demand too much from the child, forget that he is still little, or underestimate his emotions. But Malleus learns, listens to you (his queen) and to his son himself, trying to be a better father than he was yesterday.
Lilia Vanrouge
Lilia doesn't just educate - he makes the process fun. Need to learn to read? Great, now it's the riddles of ancient runes. Learning math? Excellent, count how many times dad dodges a pillow attack!
Who needs carriages and transport when you have a fae dad? Even if the baby can already walk, she often ends up on his shoulders, joyfully holding his hair.
He can play for hours, run and even rock the baby at night until her eyes close. But when he falls next to her on the couch, he is already unbearable.
Lilia trusts her daughter and wants her to learn from her own experience. He will not overprotect her, but if he feels that she is in real danger, it is better to run.
Whether your daughter wants to become a warrior, an artist, an inventor or just explore the world - Lilia will stand next to her and say: "Excellent! Show me how you do it! "
There is a place in the forest where they can sit for hours, chat or just lie there, looking at the stars. It is their little world, where no one is allowed except for mom, if she brings something tasty.
Her favorite "accomplice" in her pranks. While mom looks away - and Lilia is already helping her daughter hide in the closet or quietly sneak into the kitchen for a night treat.
The fae bat has his fangs for a reason! He proudly teaches her how to fly, night vision and even the ability to silently appear behind people's backs (mom is not thrilled).
He understands that his daughter is more special because of the human blood in her veins, but he will never show sadness. Instead, he makes her life happy, full of fun and adventure. After all, as long as she has dad - everything will be fine.

the real secret to self-improvement no one talks about

hi lovelies, it's mindy
self-improvement isnât just about perfect morning routines or buying cute stationery. while those things are fun, theyâre only surface-level. real self-improvement goes deeper. itâs about creating meaningful, lasting change in your life. if youâre tired of the same recycled advice and want to level up in a way that sticks, this post is for you.
⨠1. repair before you upgrade
you canât build a glow-up on a broken foundation. most people dive straight into new habits and routines without addressing the things holding them back. maybe itâs overthinking, procrastination, or negative self-talk. whatever it is, fixing those cracks first will make everything else easier.
actionable tip: spend time journaling or reflecting on the things that sabotage your progress. ask yourself:
whatâs draining my energy?
what beliefs are holding me back?
what habits do I need to stop?
self-awareness is the first step to meaningful change.
⨠2. curate your inner aesthetic
we talk so much about physical aesthetics; outfits, skincare, room decor. but what about your mental aesthetic? your inner world is just as important as whatâs on the outside.
ask yourself: is my mind calm and confident, or is it cluttered with negativity and self-doubt? start curating your mental space like youâd curate your pinterest boards.
unfollow people who drain you.
limit scrolling and spend time doing things that actually bring you joy.
romanticize stillness, it doesn't matter if itâs taking a slow walk, reading, or just lying in bed and thinking about life.
actionable tip: create a mental vision board. write down three feelings you want to embody (e.g., peace, gratitude, confidence) and focus on habits that help you get there.
⨠3. think small to go big
one of the biggest mistakes in self-improvement is focusing on huge, intimidating goals. instead, start with micro-challenges, small, manageable steps that feel fun and doable.
for example:
instead of aiming to wake up at 5 a.m., try waking up 15 minutes earlier for a week.
donât overhaul your diet overnight; start by drinking one extra glass of water daily.
tiny wins build momentum, and that momentum keeps you going.
actionable tip: pick one micro-challenge to start this week. it could be as simple as organizing your desk or texting a friend youâve been meaning to reconnect with. small changes lead to big transformations.
⨠4. audit your environment
your environment shapes your energy. if your space is cluttered, your mind will feel the same. start by decluttering one area of your life.
but donât stop at physical spaces. think about the people you surround yourself with too. are they uplifting and inspiring, or are they draining your energy? leveling up sometimes means letting go of what doesnât align with your future self.
actionable tip: dedicate one day this week to an âenvironment refresh.â declutter one physical space and evaluate one relationship. ask yourself: does this align with the person i want to become?
⨠5. embrace your soft power
self-improvement doesnât have to be intense or overwhelming. thereâs strength in soft, intentional growth. itâs not about becoming someone else; itâs about becoming the best version of you.
romanticize your growth. make it feel special:
play calming music while you clean your room.
use a pretty notebook for your to-do lists.
light a candle before you start studying.
the more enjoyable your journey feels, the more likely you are to stick with it.
actionable tip: turn self-improvement into a ritual. add little touches that make the process feel fun and cozy, like wearing your favorite outfit while journaling or drinking tea while planning your week.
⨠key takeaways
real self-improvement isnât about quick fixes or following trends. itâs about improving yourself in small steps that align with YOUR path.
hopefully this post helped you all
<3 mindy.

Emmrich and Rook Ingellvar are both scholars of similar topics, both academics--Emmrich canonically and Ingellvar mostly by implication, given the nature of the Mourn Watch. People who are very intelligent and very educated and very in love with each other tend to Yap, and this creates a perfect environment for one of my favorite things: Argument Missionary Sex.
It's not deep, it's not serious, but Rook has a different opinion of an article in last year's Annual Review of Necromantic Studies. They're wandering around the room, fingers on book spines, listening to Emmrich go on.
"I mean, you're wrong," Rook tells him, not unkindly. "Like, I understand why you might think that, but you're wrong."
"Darling, metaphysics is my area of expertise."
"Your expertise is spirit-summoning," Rook says, rolling their eyes. Just a little.
"Which you cannot do if you don't have a robust grounding in certain metaphysical theories, like spiritual exchange--" Emmrich's doing that cute little thing he does sometimes, his hands in fists by his hips, wiggling.
"Do you want to have sex?" Rook asks, eyes trailing up and down Emmrich's long body.
"Don't change the topic," Emmrich says, snippily.
"Oh, I'm not," Rook says. "I just think we might as well have sex while we're talking about this. Bellara and I are leaving for Arlathan in the morning, we'll probably be gone a few days. Do you want to have sex before I leave?"
"Well, yes," Emmrich says, like this should be obvious.
"Then let's go." Rook turns around, mounts the staircase. "You can fuck me while I tell you how wrong you are."
Emmrich makes a series of spluttering noises as he climbs the stairs behind them. A few minutes later, he's bracing himself against the headboard, hand on Rook's chest and hair drooping enticingly over his long nose as he pants, "A spirit cannot--exist in both the Fade and in the material world simultaneously, it isn't physically--"
"It's not simultaneous," Rook groans, fingers steepled into Emmrich's narrow hips. "It's a theory that a spirit can--move so quickly through the Veil--oh, fuck, faster--"
"The theory is unproven, unvetted," Emmrich says, and then he's blessedly fucking quiet as he takes Rook's nipple in his mouth. He bites a little too, the shit. Rook digs their heel into his ass.
"You're just mad you weren't consulted for the experiment," Rook huffs, and wiggles away from the deliberate scratch of Emmrich's mustache against their ear. They wrap their hand around the back of his neck, panting.
"They could have at least asked," Emmrich mutters, and Rook laughs, and Emmrich buries his face into their neck with a kind of chuckle-moan that warms them down to their toes.
"I love you," Rook murmurs into his ear.
"I adore you, my darling," Emmrich replies. His hand finds theirs on the mattress, entwining their fingers. When he pulls back, the expression on his face is smitten, gentle, and...smug. "Even if your opinions on spiritual transference are patently wrong."
Emmrich walks around the Lighthouse for the next couple of days with a dark purple hickey on his neck too far up for any of his collars to cover completely. Rook refuses to admit they did it on purpose.
#emmrich volkarin#Emmrook#DATV#Dragon Age#I need them to have a bit of Bitch4Bitch energy okay??#Do you honestly think Emmrich 'It's A Rich Topic!' Volkarin wouldn't get off on Debate Missionary?#He absolutely would#He probably invented it.

2024 WRAPPEDâË đđËâ
âËâšâĄTOP LESSONS LEARNTÂ
Missing out gives you progress on your goals. So many times this year, I didnât do things that I usually wouldâve loved to do to make and maintain progress on my
goals. Simple things like cancelling plans, buying certain things and any other short-term pleasures. Allowing myself to overcome FOMO, and in return, I saw great progress in my goals.Â
People hating you has nothing to do with you. I dislike a lot of things because it's my personal preference. Someone who decides to hate you is a matter of their preference. However, if they choose to show that hatred to you, it's a matter of projection. People will project onto you as a way to cope with their own life, cause they canât deal with their own.Â
Stop letting everything control you. Truly, youâre held back from nothing in life. Your circumstances, identity, environment and more can only hold you back so far. At one point, youâve gotta start acting and stop blaming everything around you on why you canât. This one⌠is still in progress for me. I do feel like my parents are a major factor in me being held back, but deeper down, I also feel that it's an excuse to not work up to my potential.Â
Trying to fit in is fruitless. I wear and listen to what I want. I decide what kind of content I want to consume, and what food I want to eat. This generation is notorious for tearing down anyone who doesnât fit in a cookie cutter. Allowing your authenticity to shine through, will guide those who are meant for you, to you!
All problems are temporary. This one does not apply to everything, but it applies to a lot of things. Your issues will not last forever, so donât let it leave a permanent mark on you. Donât let your situation deter you from your goals.
âËâšâĄACHIEVEMENTSÂ
It's small, but I feel like Iâve created my room to be fully intentional for me. While it still can be improved, my room is much better in terms of clutter and decor compared to 2023.Â
Consistent practicing soft social skills like keeping up small chats, giving compliments and handling disagreements gracefully. I ended the year with all Bâs! Last semester was a bit of a flunk for me, but I managed to pull it up for the end of the year.Â
Saved like 500$ for purchasing things off my wishlist.Â
Read like 12ish books for 2024. Wouldâve loved to read more, but I was in a reading slump and also didnât have enough time to go out to my local library to borrow any books.Â
âËâšâĄHABITS / RITUALSÂ
In bed by 9 pm, up by 6 am. Sleeping early has made me feel a lot more energised in the mornings, and I find that it's easier to get out of bed and continue with my routine. The later I slept will more I felt sluggish for the next day + waking up earlier hay motivated me to stay on top of my routines.Â
Daily walks after school. It gets my steps in, but it's a nice way to debrief after school and regather myself before heading straight into studying. I sometimes do walk home, and it's great to plug in my earphones and just not think.Â
Journaling. I preach it for a reason, as journaling helps plenty. It can help you to shift your mindset beliefs, identify self-sabotaging behaviours, allow us to truly reflect on who we are and see progress each day in our lives.Â
Lighting candles more frequently. It's such a little habit, but it brings me so much joy. Usually, theyâre just collecting dust as decor however when I started to use them, I loved the whole experience. The smell and the small warmth that it brings are just perfect for the ambience.Â
Curating my social media. I have an absolute maximum of 5 hours per day, but I still want those 5 hours to count for something. Iâve redownloaded TikTok earlier this year, and I think itâs a great platform for looking for advice and inspiration. Creating a feed that works for you instead of the other way around, will definitely change how it influences you.Â
Having alone time in the morning and at night. I need this time to myself to slow myself down and regather my thoughts and it's just what I look forward to, to get through the day. I usually do whatever I like in this time slot, on the condition that I am completely by myself, free from any tasks or distractions.Â
Cleaning regularly. When I did a deep clean last year, it would just be vacuuming my room and wiping down all visible surfaces. That is good, but thereâs a lot more to clean than you realise. One major thing that we forget to clean (yet is probably the dirtiest) is our devices. Wipe down all screens every single day!
âËâšâĄBEAUTY / FASHION TIPS
Turn down the toilet seat when you flush. The amount of times Iâve been in public toilets and flushed with the lid up is outrageous, and I just canât believe that last year I didnât even consider the bacteria that would fly up on my clothes or even my face. Not a major skincare tip, however, er I think this would affect it.Â
Know your undertone. I would only use undertones to know what kind of jewellery fits me, but it goes way beyond that. Before I start, I would like to say, donât buy any more clothes or makeup just because they donât fit your undertone. If you like your confidence will override any undertone clash. I used to walk around with really yellow makeup, and the difference when I got a foundation that had more of a golden undertone was like day and night. The same applies to your clothes. Warmer clothes will complement me, becausIâmâm warm-toned. So, I tend to stay away from cooler tones. I donât use colour seasons, Is anyone wondering?Â
Stick to a palette that you like. Last year, I wasted so much money trying to experiment with new colours in my clothes and makeup, just to end up hating it. Itâs also a bad consumerist habit, to buy things for your fantasy self. So today, I only buy clothes it's the colours I like and I only purchase makeup if its shades fit me. Iâm not saying buy anything new, but keep it to a minimum to reduce waste and save your money for the things that you like.Â
Avoid fashion inspiration with faces. Highly attractive people can pull off anything, quite literally. Their face can influence subconsciously them ly to love the outfit, even if the outfit is âbadâ. So, when saving pictures from Pinterest, TikTok or magazines, avoid any outfits that show their face. I said avoid it as sometimes you just really like an outfit and you know it's nothing to do with their face, which is okay.Â
âËâšâĄYOUTUBERS
JIlLZ GUERIN - Focuses on feminine energy, lifestyle and intellectual habits. I recommend her as many of her videos are new and fresh perspectives.
SANDY DIANA BANG - Mostly productive vlogs that inspire and motivate, with a sprinkle of wellness, health and beauty content. Her channel and vibes are so aesthetic too!Â
ROSIE GRAHAM & LIDIA MERA - Both are fitness influencers that focus on pilates. Their workouts are so good that they always leave me sweating and strained (which is good!! lmao). If one of your goals for 2025 was to start working out, I would use their videos.Â
THANK YOU BUBU - Another fitness channel that is one of my time faves, and they have a variety of exercises that target abs, glutes, legs and arms. Another channel I would recommend if I was starting to exercise again.Â
MINA LE - She does research and creates video essays on various topics, which many videos I feel are relevant in current times. Sheâs great if you want to expand and explore new perspectives.Â
HALIEY GAMBA - Sheâs for a more matured audience, but sheâs such a hidden gem. All of her advice ly new things, not just the same things that have been rinsed and repeated.Â
KELLY GOOCH - Sheâs a beauYouTuberber who mainly discusses the beauty industry and its products while recommending some. Sheâs one of the only beauty influencers who I will listen to, as I feel like her opinions arenât constantly swayed by sponsorships or promotions. Even then I would still take any beauty opinions and advice with two cents.
ELLE CHU - A smaller, but underrated beauty influencer. She discusses a lot of beauty products whether theyâre worth it, overhyped or overpriced. She does sometimes talk about the beauty industry, but those videos are infrequent.Â
âËâšâĄBOOKSÂ
(I have read all of them libby- a reading app).
NJUTA by NIKI BRANTMARK. All about the Swedish art of enjoying the present. If you feel like you have a simple and unexciting life, I recommend you read this.
SPARK JOY by Marie Kondo. A popular decluttering book that uses the KonMari method that emphasises items that you want to keep, instead of focusing on what you want to get rid of.
THE HEALTHY MIND TOOLKIT by Dr Alice Boyes. This is the ultimate guide of mindset shifts to target self-sabotaging or destructive beliefs and gives strategies to overcome them.
MINDFULLNESS ON THE GO by Jan Chozen Bays. A collection of little mindfulness practices you can do almost anywhere, almost anytime.Â
MY WISHES FOR 2025
To join any club at this point. It's hard for me to do anything outside of the house with my parents' schedules, and I do feel like it has eaten at my social life and the experiences, lessons etc I would gain. At first, I originally wanted to join so it's something I could put on my university application, however, Iâm entering year 10 with absolutely no extracurriculars since year 7. (for anyone not down under, I'm talking about high school grades.)Â
Expanding my social circle. I feel like I donât have a secondary community outside of school, and it's definitely what can amplify my slumps or depression without having that one person I can talk to freely, without the worry of school. I feel like Iâm making no sense here.Â
Moving anywhere. I want to move schools, cities, countries, or whatever. Being in the same school since year 2 (elementary) has taken a toll on me.Â
A million dollars. Very unrealistic, but I still want it! I feel like money is the only thing that can actively change my life at this point.Â
thats it for this post! I encourage anyone else to do their own wrapped and tag me!

đđ˘đŤđđ˛ đđ˘đđđĽđ đđđđŤđđ - Shim Jaeyun || Jake

Pairing: Shim Jaeyun!Jake x female reader
Word count: 6.5k+
Genre: smut, angst
â๨ŕ§ËâĄË ࣪: In the dynamic between Jake and you, a rivalry has always existed, characterized by a facade of indifference that you maintained to conceal your true emotions. While you mirrored Jake's competitive spirit, you chose to suppress your feelings, burying them deep within your heart to ensure he remained oblivious to your inner turmoil. However, this time, will Jake unearth the entire truth, revealing the depth of your emotions that you had long kept hidden or would he find himself ensnared in a complex web of emotions as he begins to develop feelings for you, his academic rival, a situation that will leave him both exhilarated and conflicted?
Trailer attached here
99
It was impossible for you to score 99 in English. Your best subject was English. You furiously flipped through the pages of your answer sheet, searching in vain for that one mistake.
Jake walked up to his seat beside you, with a devilish smile. You knew the reason behind that smile. He had again scored marks higher than you.
100
A perfect 100 was written on the exam sheet that Jake plastered on your face.
"Aww did my baby get lower marks than me?" He said in a mocking tone, patting your head sarcastically. You yanked his hand off your head.
"Just one subject." You snapped back as a habit of thinking that it was impossible for Jake to beat you in more than one subject. He clicked his tongue.
"Naur. In mathematics too." he continued , reminding you of the distribution of the answer sheets in maths class.
With a smirk that you wanted to rip off from his face, he sat down as you rolled your eyes . As you stared at the perfect 100 on his paper for a while and then turned to fling his sheet at him, but the view in front of you stopped you.
Beside you sat Jake, manspreaded with his back arched on the chair, his eyes closed and a hand rummaging in his hair as a groaned slipped from his mouth.
You snapped your head back to the infront, blush creeping up on your cheeks. After studying day and night for weeks, you were both exhausted. Yet you continued to see graphic scenarios in your head with context to the scenario. The vision persisted in your memory even after you shook your head to ignore it.
You placed his sheet on his side of the table.
"T-there's your paper." You mentally cursed yourself for stuttering. He looked up as he sat up straight. He held his paper with a smile.
Yes. You liked your academic rival.
The reasons behind your emotional attachment to Jake was complex. It is possible that the intense environment of academic rivalry had fostered a unique bond between the two of you. Additionally, Jake's qualities, such as his intellect, determination, or charisma, may have drawn you to him. The interplay of rivalry and attraction had blurred the lines between academic rivalry and personal feelings, making it difficult for you to understand emotions.
You passed him your answer sheet as he snatched it from your hand, acting as if submitting your sheet with his was so annoying. You hit him on the arm as he chuckled out, jogging away from the seat to submit the sheets.
You had to admit he looked heavenly handsome in the school uniform. With his light blue shirt's top three buttons undone, his black pants patched well with his gucci's signature leather belt. A silver ring shined on his index finger. The ring created a strange and unique sound whenever Jake knocked on the table with it.
Jake walked back up, high-fiving all the girls who spread their hands to feel the touch of Jake's hand. As they felt his hand on theirs, they burst out giggling and squeakling.
You tried your best not to cringe, seeing the girls drool over him. Jake walked up the aisle to your shared seat, he spread his hand for a high-five from you. "Come on. For once just praise me and that I did well." He said giving puppy-eyes.
You tried your best to not let your composure slip, but eventually you found yourself high-fiving Jake.
He smirked. "Even the Min Y/N, high-fived as a sign for surrendering from her first position."
You stood up, slamming the desk, grabbing Jake by the collar.
"I never said that." You growled almost into his face. He lifted his hands in surrender as you left his collar and stormed out of the class.
You had the last three periods of the day with Jake again. You groaned annoyed.
He sure knew how to get on your nerves.
As you finished your classes of other courses, you found out that Jake had scored higher marks than you in 3 subjects out of six. You had scored higher than him in 3.
This lead to your anxiety. Jake was almost there. He almost beat your marks.
You walked up to the classroom. You prepared yourself mentally for tolerating Jake.
You walked the aisle, noticing Jake already seated. He seemed to be busy in his laptop. You quietly walked up to him, as you sat down. You peeked at what he was doing.
He was chatting with Jungwon on Kakao talk. Jungwon messaged him,"Hey! You coming on Hoon's today's party?"
Jake had replied with a "Nah bro."
But Jungwon's next message that popped up caught your attention.
"Katrina is coming."
Jake's composure changed as he replied,"Hmm. I'll see then. ;)"
You felt a pang on your heart. A weird aching feeling filled your chest. Jake shut his laptop as he looked towards you.
"Whatcha snooping at?" He said as he slid his aptop into his bag.
Usually, you looked back towards him passing him a sarcastic comment. But today you choose to remain quiet.
On the other hand, Jake looked towards expecting a reaction out of you. He knew you had seen the message about Katrina. He badly wanted you to get jealous.
He had been experiencing these weird feelings for a while. When he had periods without you, a feeling of emptiness filled him. He thought he liked Katrina at first but realised it was actually nothing. She didn't strike up feelings within him like you did.
He painfully looked at you, wanting to hear your voice to shoot a comment at him. A comment to start a chat or arguement that Jake loved.
You didn't notice his condition as thoughts coursed through your brain. Anxiety stirred up within you at the thought of Jake liking someone else. 3 periods passed away with a snap, and soon you found yourself walking towards your home.
A hand draped across your shoulder. It was your bestfriend, Ryujin.
"Hello there!" She said as she ruffled your hair. You nodded acknowledging her presence. Friday was the day of the week when you and Ryujin had no class of any courses together. You had genuinely missed her but you were far more lost thinking about all the thoughts that whirled inside your head.
"Well what's up?" She asked. You sighed. You started explaining to her about how Jake had scored marks higher than you in three subjects and that you were mainly worried about having a one-sided unrequited love. Ryujin chuckled.
"Don't worry, Min (Y/N)! You are coming with me to Sunghoon's party too!", she declared, catching you off guard.
"Wait, what?!" you stammered, halting in surprise as she laughed at your reaction
"Sunghoon was searching for you to invite you but he couldn't find you so he thought that why not inform me cause I am going and I am your bestfriend too." She explained as you nodded unable to speak.
She playfully shoved you as she said ,"Go home and get dressed. We leave in an hour."
She winked as she walked away towards her house just a street away from yours.
------------------------------------------------------------------
You looked at yourself in the mirror for the last time before grabbing your purse and walking out of your house. Ryujin stood there waiting for you. As her eyes landed on you, she couldn't control admiring you.
"You look.." She looked at you top to bottom. "..so pretty."
"Jake would be a fool not falling for you." She said earning a playful nudge from you.
You two took a cab to Sunghoon's condo.
As you stepped into Sunghoon's huge condo, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and laughter. The living room was packed with students, all mingling and enjoying the lively vibe. Colorful lights flickered around the space, casting a warm glow over the crowd.
Tables were lined with an array of drinks, from beer to cocktails, and everyone seemed to be in high spirits, raising their glasses and toasting to the night ahead. Music pulsed through the air, setting the perfect backdrop for conversations and dance-offs.
At a side, a group was engaged in a spirited game of beer pong, while others were sprawled on the couches, sharing stories and making new friends. The energy was infectious, and it felt like the perfect escape from the stress of classes, with everyone just letting loose and enjoying the moment.
In one corner of the enormous living room sat Jake's group of boys, who were also known as ENHYPEN in the whole school. Their fingers wrapped around long alcohol filled glasses as they chatted away. You spotted Jake and Sunghoon in the group.
Jake eyes reached yours as his eyes widened in surprise as he sat up.
" Min Y/N?" He called out as immidiately the whole attention of the group of the boys were on you and Ryujin.
The boys waved, calling you two over. Ryujin wore a suit as she walked over sitting next to Sunghoon. As Heeseung made space for you to sit next to him, Jake pushed Jay, who was sitting next to him over there.
Jay almost crashed onto the seat.
"Jake what the h-" Before he could speak up, Jake spoke up to you patting the place beside him where Jay was previously sitting,"You can seat here."
Jay and the others immidiately understood the reason as they looked at each other, trying their best not to smirk.
You sat down as Jungwon passed you a glass of alcohol.
The night grew deep as you found yourself enjoying more than ever. You chatted away with Sunghoon soon as you found out he liked Ryujin when Ryujin chatted over with the other boys.
You didn't know that someone was burning holes through Sunghoon. It was none other than Jake. His grip tightened of his glass, threatening to break it. As Sunghoon came close to you, to whisper something in your ears, Jake jolted up as he stormed out away.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
It didn't take long for you to notice that Jake was starting to ignore you completely, treating you with increasing rudeness . As your academic rival, his behavior became more abrasive, making it clear that he was not just competing with you in school but also trying to undermine your confidence.
His dismissive attitude and snarky comments made it difficult to focus on your studies, and it felt like he was going out of his way to make you feel inferior. But your heart still beated fast at his every comment.
Jake tried his best to ignore you. He just couldn't. Realisation had dawned him that he liked you and after seeing you so close with Sunghoon he felt like he had no chance. He couldn't get attached to you anymore. If he did, he wouldn't ever be able to leave you.
Jake had you in a emotional toll for the whole week as you felt broken as well as heated up. So, at the end of the week, you agreed to Ryujin at once when she told you that you were invited to Jungwon's party this week.
You found yourself sitting in one of the couches once again. But this time you sat next to Sunghoon. You noticed how Jake looked at Sunghoon as if Jake would kill him if he found him alone.
The bottle spinned and soon all the others indulged deep into the game of truth and dare. You and Jake were the ones who were not as indulged into the game as the others.
Your eyes soon travelled over to his, as you found him already looking at you. His dark eyes bore into you.
No one realised when Jake stood up or when Jake pulled you up with him, dragging you by your wrist.
You are dragged into a quiet hall of the condo.
"What the hell-" Your sentence is cut off by Jake pressing you against the wall in the dark corner of the hall, your eyes rising to meet the pair of pretty brown ones, jakeâs pupils wide from how buzzed he is right now.
You can feel yourself tensing in his hold, both scared and turned on from the mere proximity of his body.
The heat of his body overwhelms you as he places one hand on your waist, the other against the wall at the side of your head, trapping you in place beneath his towering frame.
âShim Jaeyun, what are you doing?â you push against his chest, his body not moving an inch. Oh god he was strong and his broad shoulders and his thick, toned arms.
"Just shut up!" He says as he opens one of the room door pulling you in with him.
"Just stop it!" He yells as you stand in front of him with widened eyes never expecting to see Jake in such a frustrated and desperate state.
"Stop messing with me! I just can't get you out of my brain!" He yells out. "Night after night, I just can't stop thinking about you."
You stand there in surprise never expecting to hear these words from Jake.
"You go on hanging around with Sunghoon and think it really doesn't affect me?! I don't like Katrina! It's just a codename for your name!" Jake says as his eyes meet yours.
"And still you mess around with me!" He growls as he pushes you onto the bed, hovering over you.
You take advantage of this moment to lean forward and capture his plump lips in a kiss, dirty and absolutely desperate. desperate for his touch, however you can get it.
Jake returns the favor, slotting his lips against yours, feeling every crevice of your gorgeous lips under his own. He fights back a moan, knowing he needs to maintain dominance over the situation. He squeezes tighter on your neck and you let out a small moan, allowing him to press his tongue into your mouth. you nearly gasp at the intrusion, relishing in the feeling of him nearly eating you from the inside out.
"I love you, I like you as long as I remember knowing you." You say as he snaps.
Jakeâs kisses move lower, his lips and tongue exploring every inch of your skin, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. His hands are everywhere, caressing, teasing, and worshipping your body.
He roughly removes your dress and slips your panties down and slides a hand over your pussy which makes you gasp. You tilt your head back and he makes rounded movements on your clit.
Suddenly he flattens his tongue over you, licking a long line from your entrance to your clit. You cry out again, feeling lightheaded as your hands squeeze into fists. He slides 2 fingers into your slick opening, and you know it won't be long before you're coming.
"You're?", he murmurs, his voice a low, seductive growl. His eyes lock onto yours, the intensity in his gaze holding you captive. Your back arches off the wall, and you struggle to find your voice, your breath coming in short, ragged gasps
"Y-yours," you manage to whisper out.
Jakeâs dark smirk widens, satisfaction gleaming in his eyes. He moistens his hand, his fingers gliding over your clit with a newfound slickness, amplifying the sensation. The friction combined with the wetness sends a jolt of pleasure through you, making you cry out. His movements become more insistent, his fingers expertly playing your body.
Jakeâs fingers maintain their relentless rhythm, each movement pushes toward your climax.
His fingers explore lower, moving in your wetness before returning to your clit, now wet with your cunt and his cock. He adds a third finger, sliding them inside you, curling them just right to hit that sensitive spot that makes your knees almost give out. Your body is caught in a whirlwind of pleasure as you hear him say,"Tell me how much you want this."
"I need you so bad, jakey. please, donât stop." You moan out hugging his body tight.
His eyes darken with desire, and increases the pace of his fingers, thrusting them deeper inside you. The sound of your wetness fills the bedroom.
"Come for me, angel."
His words is your signal. With a final, high-pitched moan, you come, your body clenching around his fingers, the pleasure crashing over you in waves.
As you calm down, he takes his fingers out of you, bringing them to his lips and licking them clean, his eyes never leaving yours. The sight is intense and turning on.
Jake kisses you, lips claiming yours with a new level of neediness. You can taste yourself on his tongue, a reminder of the pleasure he just gave you.
He pulls away from the kiss, his eyes dark with desire as he looks down at you, his breath ragged. He unbuckles his belt as fast as he could as he rubs himself to you beneath him.
Jakeâs eyes glow with lust and pleasure, as he aligns his cock with your entrance, his tip touching your sensitive clit, making you gasp.
Jake chuckles darkly as he slams into you, a broken groan leaving his lips. He begins to fuck into you at such a pace that you cling to him, moans and desperate cries leaving your lips. Jake's lips find your neck and bite at the skin there leaving purple-ish hickeys as he continues to snap his hips into yours and every time his pelvis connects with yours, you swear you could see stars/
"Youâre MINE." He groans, his voice rough. "Damn you make me feel so good."
You can only moan in response, your body meeting his thrusts eagerly, the pleasure overwhelming. Jakeâs movements become more uneven, his control slipping completely as he nears his own climax. "Fuck, fuck, fuck." The word 'fuck' falls from his mouth like a mantra.
You feel yourself moving toward another climax.
"Cummming for me again princess? yeah?" He says, his forehead still on yours, his breathing ragged.
With a final, powerful thrust, he sends you over the edge, your orgasm crashing over you in a wave of ecstasy.
He follows you moments later, his own release tearing through him, his hips stuttering as he spills inside you. He collapses on top of you, his breath ragged and his body trembling.
As he lies down on the bed besdie you, you look towards him with a smile.
"Let's keep it a secret for now." You propose the idea as his eyes glint as he smirks and nods speaking up,
"For now, let it be our dirty little secert."

"Study session with the Lads"
Thoughts on TF141 & International student neighbor
Part One - Next - Masterlist
a/n: f!reader
Synopsis: You'll ace the next exam, hopefully.
Câmon over tomorrow, weâll help you prep for that exam. P.S. You canât refuse, Captainâs orders.
Most people would think Johnny gave you his number first, being the hopeless flirt he was. But no, it was Kyle. Unlike his fellow former sergeant, Gaz was subtler, able to hide his true intentions behind easy smiles and clever banter. No less effective, mind you.
Then again, the whole 'old men adopting a stranded student' relationship was weird. A detail for your therapist next session, surely. Were you supposed to be worried? Get your head checked? Probably. Creating a found family with three British men and a hyperactive Scot wasnât exactly listed under âCommon Expat Experiences.â
Back to the present: you left Kyleâs message on read for half a second before sending a slightly-too-eagerâ
Of course!
You imagined a light revision, a few exercises, a cup of tea brewed by Simon just the way you liked, perhaps Soap dramatically imitating phonetic symbols to distract you from spiraling over your performance anxiety.
Certainly not this.
At exactly 1700 hours, you knocked on their door clutching your battered copy of Teaching English as a Foreign Language for Dummies and a highlighter that had lost the will to live halfway through your last grammar workshop.
âHighlight only the important parts,â your brother used to say. Sure. But what if everything was important?
The living room looked like a war zone⌠but not a gross, sock-strewn bachelor disaster. No, this was tactical mayhem. Soapâs footprints crisscrossed the carpet in suspicious patterns.
Your study notes had been printed, laminated, and tacked onto a corkboard. Snacks were stacked on the coffee table like sandbags. A flipchart had been set up beside the telly. Someone had written across it in bold, underlined red: OPERATION: ACE THE PAST PERFECT.
Price looked up from the kitchen, a mug in hand. âNo pressure, kiddo. Just your entire teaching career.â
Ghost, leaning against the wall, nodded solemnly. âWeâve got biscuits.â Was that supposed to help?
Gaz shuffled a stack of index cards, color-coded with terrifying precision. âWhoâs quizzing her first on the difference between the present simple and the present perfect?â
âDefine the unlawful killing of a human being without malice!â Soap barked like a drill sergeant. You gaped at him. Why was he wearing a peaked military cap? It was even worse than John's boonie hat.
âWrong subject, Johnny,â Price called from the kitchen. âWeâre not teaching criminal interrogation tactics, itâs English grammar.â
âAye, but keeps her sharp, doesnae it?â
You sat gingerly on the couch between Gaz and a mountain of flashcards. âI... appreciate the effort, truly. But, uh, how did you get my notes?â
And was that your favorite set of pastel pens peeking out of Johnâs pocket?
âFound them last week. Binder fell down the stairs. Took the liberty of reorganizinâ âem by theme.â Ghostâs voice came from somewhere dark and ominous.
âYou color-coded grammar topics?â You squeaked.
âCourse I did. Iâm not a monster. Stuck to your precious Pinterest palette, too.â
Well⌠You couldnât exactly argue with that.
The first twenty minutes went smoothly.
Gaz walked you through the major language acquisition theories â Krashen, Vygotsky, yada yada â with flashcards that had doodles of confused stick-figure students on the back. Price explained different classroom management styles like he was giving a battlefield briefing: âAdapt to your environment. Donât lose command of the room.â
You nodded dutifully, and sometimes got rewarded with a brief, proud head pat.
Then Soap made his move.
âRight! Iâve built a memory palace,â he announced.
âA what.â
âMemory technique! Visualization! Top-tier stuff!â He dragged you into the hallway, where he had drawn on the walls with dry-erase markers. You werenât hallucinating.
âSee here?â He pointed at a doodle of a dragon labeled âPast Tense Peteâ.
âThis beastie guards all irregular verbs. Yeâve gotta slay him with correct conjugations!â
âWhat is happening?!â You shrieked, staring in horror at the doodle of an adverbial goblin. John, your knight in shining mutton chops, came to your rescue.
âShe asked for help revising!â Soap protested.
âI asked for basic revision, not a full Dungeons and Dragons campaign!â
You pointed dramatically at Johnny, ready to throw him under the bus called âCaptain Price.â
While Price and Soap bickered about the ethical limits of creative teaching aids, Gaz slipped a flashcard into your hand... CONDITIONALS: First vs. Second â Remember: If I win the lottery, I will freak out. If I won the lottery, I would freak out.
Genius? Madness? Hard to tell.
Then Ghost, quietly but ruthlessly, dragged a chair into the center of the room.
âQuiz time. No fluff. Answer fast, or you owe me a push-up.â
You narrowed your eyes. âI am not doing push-ups over auxiliary verbs.â
âThen donât get them wrong.â
And he began rapid-firing questions: âWhatâs the communicative approach? How many types of conditional sentences? Example of a weak modal verb?â
You answered, getting most of them right. You were still terrified.
And then, from the kitchen: âQUIZ TIMEâS OVER, I MADE A POWERPOINT!â The Scot roared.
â
At some point, you were cross-legged on the carpet, biscuit crumbs on your notes, explaining the importance of student talking time versus teacher talking time while they all nodded proudly like awkward but loving uncles.
âYouâll smash it,â The captain finally said, clapping a heavy hand on your shoulder.
âIf not,â Soap winked, âweâll sneak into the university database and âfixâ it.â
âPlease donât,â you whimpered.
As you packed your things, Ghost quietly handed you a neat stack of flashcards. âKeep these. I made extra copies.â
You flipped through them: clear, minimalist, perfect. You smiled. âThanks, Batman.â
His eyes crinkled behind the mask. âYouâre welcome, Robin.â
Your notes had never been clearer. Your brain, however, felt flash-banged by a PowerPoint titled âHow to Conquer the Passive Voice Like a Spartan.â
You would never forget the dragon guarding irregular verbs.

Letâs Call It Even
Where Y/N is an interviewer who pushes Harry Styles too far.
Word count: 2.5k
The hotel suite is dimly lit, the kind of warm lighting designed to make people feel at ease. Itâs supposed to create intimacy, lower defenses.
Y/N doesnât buy into it.
She sits across from Harry Styles, her recorder already running, her notepad resting on her lap. Heâs leaned back in his chair, the picture of effortless easeâlegs spread slightly, fingers tapping a light rhythm against his knee. Heâs been in interviews all day. She can tell by the slight shift in his posture, the polite but rehearsed smile.
He thinks this will be just another round of the same.
Heâs wrong.
She clicks her pen. âLetâs talk about Jack.â
Harry nods slightly, shifting forward in his seat. âLetâs.â
She studies him for a second before speaking again. âDo you think Jack sees himself as the villain, or does he believe heâs the hero of his own story?â
The smile on his lips falters just a fraction, but itâs there. He takes a moment, pretending to really think about it, but Y/N knows thatâs just part of the act.
âI think Jack believes heâs doing whatâs right,â he says finally. His voice is smooth, unhurried. âThatâs what makes him dangerous, isnât it? He thinks heâs protecting something. Love, security, order. But heâs also selfish. Blind to how much control he really has over Alice.â
Itâs a good answer. Polished. Almost too perfect.
Y/N doesnât even blink.
âBut isnât that just a way to excuse him?â she presses. âSaying he thinks heâs doing the right thing doesnât change the fact that he actively chooses to manipulate Alice. Itâs not a gray areaâitâs deliberate harm. Doesnât that say more about how men like Jack justify their actions?â
There. The shift.
His jaw tightens slightly. His fingers stop their rhythmic tapping.
For the first time, she has his full attention.
âI think youâre trying to make it black and white when it isnât,â Harry counters, voice still calm but firmer now. âJack is a product of his environment. The whole world he exists in is built to make him believe heâs right.â
âBut that doesnât make him any less responsible.â
Silence. Thick. Charged.
She watches as he exhales through his nose, the muscles in his jaw working as he measures his next words.
âI think,â he says slowly, âthat you came into this interview already deciding what you wanted to hear from me.â
A flicker of something in his eyesâchallenge, annoyance, something deeper beneath the surface.
And just like that, the easy rhythm of the interview is gone.
Y/N doesnât flinch at Harryâs words. If anything, she leans in slightly, her grip on her pen tightening just a fraction.
âI think,â she says, mirroring his tone, âthat you came into this interview already deciding how much you wanted to say.â
Harryâs lips twitch, something between amusement and irritation flashing across his face. âThatâs what interviews are, arenât they? You ask, I answer. Isnât that the game?â
âIt doesnât have to be,â she counters. âUnless youâre just playing it safe.â
His expression shiftsâstill composed, still carrying that air of practiced charm, but his body language betrays him. The way his fingers flex against his knee. The way his jaw tenses, like heâs biting back something sharper.
âI donât think wanting to be thoughtful with my words means Iâm playing it safe.â His voice is controlled, deliberate. âIt means Iâm not interested in giving you some soundbite you can twist into a headline.â
Y/N tilts her head slightly, studying him. âI donât need to twist anything, Harry. Your answers do that on their own.â
His brows lift, but he doesnât break eye contact.
The tension stretches between them, thick and unspoken. Thereâs something electric about itânot just frustration, but something deeper. An unspoken challenge hanging in the air.
She watches as he inhales through his nose, running his tongue along his bottom lip before he speaks again.
âI think Jack is complicated,â he says finally, voice lower now, more measured. âI think heâs someone who believes his love is enough to justify everything he does. And I think that kind of loveâthe kind that demands controlâis the most dangerous kind there is.â
Now that is an answer.
Y/N doesnât say anything for a beat, just lets the weight of his words settle between them. Then, slowly, she nods.
âI think thatâs the most honest thing youâve said today.â
His smirk is barely there, but it lingers, tugging at the corner of his mouth.
âAnd I think,â he murmurs, âyou like getting under peopleâs skin more than you like the answers themselves.â
She smirks right back.
âOnly when they need to be pushed.â
The interview continues, but the air between them has shifted. Every exchange is laced with something unspoken, something simmering just beneath the surface.
The interview wraps. The cameras stop rolling. The crew starts moving around, packing up lights and cables, but Y/N barely notices.
She can feel him watching her.
She keeps her focus on gathering her notes, her movements precise, calculated. Sheâs expecting him to leaveâto shake hands, flash one last easy grin, and walk out like he does in every other interview.
But he doesnât.
Instead, she hears the quiet shuffle of his boots against the carpet. The shift of fabric as he moves closer.
Then, his voice. Low. Sharp.
âWas that the goal?â
Y/N exhales, fingers tightening around her pen before she finally looks up at him. Heâs closer than before, standing just at the edge of the table, his expression unreadable.
âExcuse me?â
Harry tilts his head slightly, eyes flickering over her face. His jaw is still tight, like heâs holding something back.
âYou wanted me to get mad, didnât you?â His voice is calm, but thereâs an edge beneath it, something simmering. âPush me hard enough so the clip goes viral. âHarry Styles loses his cool.â That the angle you were going for?â
Y/N lets out a short breath, shaking her head. âThatâs insulting.â
âIs it?â he challenges, stepping just a fraction closer.
Her jaw clenches, but she doesnât move back. If heâs trying to intimidate her, heâs wasting his time.
âI wasnât trying to make you mad,â she says evenly. âI was trying to make you think. Thereâs a difference.â
His lips press together, and she can tell heâs fighting the urge to snap back. Sheâs seen this beforeâthe way frustration sits behind his ribs, the way he wrestles with it instead of letting it spill over.
But this time, itâs personal.
âYou think I wasnât thinking?â His voice drops, quieter now. âOr do you just not like it when people donât give you the answers you want?â
Y/N exhales through her nose, tilting her chin up slightly. âI think youâre used to people letting you get away with easy answers. And I think, for once, someone actually made you sit in the uncomfortable part of it.â
A flicker of somethingâanger, intrigue, something tangled in between.
He exhales, dragging a hand through his hair, then lets out a sharp, humorless laugh. âYou are a real piece of work, you know that?â
She smirks, crossing her arms. âYou say that like itâs a bad thing.â
For a second, he just looks at her. The air between them feels thick, charged with something unsaid.
Then, he shakes his head, muttering something under his breath before turning toward the door.
But just before he steps out, he pauses.
âYou know what the worst part is?â he says, glancing over his shoulder. His voice is lower now, almost too quiet. âYouâre right. And I fucking hate that.â
And then, heâs gone.
It happens at a party.
Sheâs not surprised. The industry is small, the circles even smaller. She knew, deep down, that their paths would cross again.
But she didnât expect it to be like this.
The venue is dimly lit, golden light casting long shadows across the room. Low chatter hums beneath the pulse of bass-heavy music. Itâs one of those exclusive eventsâwhere artists, directors, and industry names sip expensive drinks and pretend theyâre not watching each other.
Y/N isnât here to play the game. Sheâs here because she was dragged by a friend, because she needed a break, becauseâ
Because she told herself she wouldnât think about him.
And then, she feels it.
That familiar prickle at the back of her neck. The unshakable sense of being watched.
She turns, and there he is.
Harry, leaning against the bar, a whiskey glass in hand, watching her like sheâs something he canât quite figure out. His suit is tailored but effortless, his tie loosened just enough to suggest he stopped caring the second he walked in.
But itâs his eyes that catch herâthe way they flicker under the low lights, dark and unreadable.
She should look away.
She doesnât.
Instead, she lifts her chin slightly, a silent challenge, before turning toward the balcony.
She doesnât need to check if he follows. She already knows he will.
The air outside is cooler, quieter, a stark contrast to the warmth of the party. The city stretches out below, glittering and endless.
She leans against the railing, exhaling slowly.
âDidnât think you were the type to sulk in the corner at these things.â
His voice comes from behind her, smooth but laced with something heavier.
She doesnât turn around. âDidnât think you were the type to hold grudges.â
Thereâs a low chuckle, and then she hears his footstepsâslow, unhurried.
âYou made quite an impression, love,â he murmurs, coming to stand beside her.
She finally glances at him. âI do that.â
His lips twitch, but thereâs something else in his gaze. Something he hasnât decided if he resents or respects.
âI meant what I said,â he continues, taking a sip of his drink. âYou like pushing people. You like watching them squirm.â
She shrugs, turning back to the skyline. âOnly when they need to be pushed.â
âAnd you decided I needed it?â
âI didnât decide anything,â she says, then glances at him. âYou showed me you did.â
That does something to him. She can tell by the way his jaw clenches, by the way he exhales slowly, like heâs trying to temper whatever is simmering beneath his skin.
âYou think you know me, donât you?â he mutters, more to himself than to her.
Y/N tilts her head, studying him. âI think you hate that I might.â
Silence. The air between them shifts, tightening.
She expects him to snap back, to smirk, to find some way to deflect like he always does.
But he doesnât.
Instead, he sets his glass down, leaning in just enough that she can feel the warmth of him, the quiet intensity of his gaze.
âTell me, then,â he murmurs. âWhat do you think you know?â
Her pulse jumps, but she doesnât let it show.
She meets his stare, unflinching.
âI think you like control.â The words are deliberate, measured. âYou like being the one asking the questions. You like being the one who sets the pace, who decides how much people see.â
His throat bobs as he swallows.
She steps closerânot much, just enough to test the space between them.
âAnd I think,â she continues, voice softer now, âyou hate that I see past it.â
A muscle ticks in his jaw. His fingers flex against the railing.
For a second, she thinks heâs going to walk away again.
But thenâ
âAnd what if I donât hate it?â
The words hang between them, heavy, raw.
Her breath catches, just for a moment.
She should say something sharp, something cutting.
Instead, she whispersâ
âThen thatâs a whole different problem, isnât it?â
And for the first time since they met, he doesnât have an answer.
The weight of his words lingers between them.
Harry doesnât move, doesnât shift, doesnât even blink. He just stands there, watching her, like heâs trying to decide whether to close the space between them or run before itâs too late.
Y/N holds his gaze, waiting. Daring.
For once, he doesnât have a smooth response, a rehearsed quip to throw back at her. And she sees itâthe crack in the armor, the flicker of something raw beneath all the charm.
âThis is a problem, then?â he murmurs, voice low, dangerously soft.
Y/N exhales slowly, feeling the cool night air against her skin, the contrast of the heat rolling off him. âIt is if you make it one.â
His jaw clenches. His hands flex against the railing.
Thenâ
âYou drive me fucking crazy, you know that?â
Her lips twitch, but she doesnât look away. âFunny. I was just about to say the same thing.â
His breath hitchesâjust slightly, just enough for her to notice.
And then it happens.
He moves.
Not fast, not reckless, but with a sharp, deliberate intent that makes her heart lurch.
One second, theyâre standing there, balancing on the edge of something unspoken.
The next, heâs close. Closer than before.
His hand comes up, fingers brushing over the column of her throat, tracing the line of her jaw. Not quite touching, not fully closing the distance, but thereâa silent question, a warning, a threat.
Her pulse pounds beneath his fingertips.
She knows this is a mistake. She knows they should stop, pull back before it spirals into something they canât control.
But when his thumb drags lightly across her skin, when his lips part like heâs about to say something and then doesnâtâ
She doesnât care.
âSay it,â he murmurs.
Her breath catches.
âSay what?â
His fingers slide to the back of her neck, his touch just firm enough to make her head spin.
âSay you donât want this.â
Her throat tightens.
Because she should. She should say it. She should tell him that this is just leftover tension from their interview, just a fleeting moment of frustration, justâ
But then his nose brushes hers, his breath warm against her lips, and all rational thought crumbles.
âI canât,â she whispers.
The second the words leave her mouth, everything snaps.
His lips crash against hers, and its nothing like she expected. Itâs not slow, not tentativeâitâs urgent, desperate, messy in a way that betrays just how long theyâve both been holding this back.
His hands tighten against her waist, pulling her flush against him. She fists his shirt, grounding herself, anchoring herself to something before she completely loses her mind.
He tastes like whiskey and something she canât name, something sharp and intoxicating and so fucking infuriatingly him.
The kiss is a battle. A push and pull.
He bites her lower lip, and she gasps. He smirks against her mouth, but she drags her nails down his back, making him groan, and suddenly the tables turn.
âI donât think weâll ever be even.â
He presses her back against the railing, one hand gripping her waist, the other tilting her chin up, deepening the kiss like heâs trying to prove something.
Like heâs trying to win.
When they finally break apart, their breaths are ragged, lips swollen, pupils blown wide.
Harry drags his thumb over her bottom lip, watching her like heâs waiting for her to take it back.
She doesnât.
Instead, she smirks.
âThat wasnât very professional of you, Styles.â
His answering chuckle is dark, breathless.
âYou started it.â
She arches a brow. âOh, I donât think so.â
He leans in again, lips ghosting over her jaw. âNo?â
Her grip tightens in his shirt.
âNo,â she murmurs, voice softer now.
He hums, his nose trailing along the curve of her neck.
âThen letâs call it even.â
Y/N exhales a shaky breath, tilting her head slightly.

______________________________________________________________
Chapter 1: Welcome to the Wolffs
Y/n MĂźller had always been driven by a deep sense of creativity and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. Growing up in a bilingual household in Stuttgart, she had developed a passion for languages and cultures, seamlessly switching between German and English. This dual heritage had given her a unique perspective and a love for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.
When it came time to choose a field of study, Y/n followed her heart and enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts program, majoring in Media Design. She was drawn to the world of visual storytelling, believing that design could shape perceptions and inspire change. Her coursework was rigorous, covering everything from graphic design to video production, but Y/n thrived in the academic environment.
However, as graduation approached, Y/n found herself at a crossroads. While she loved the theoretical aspects of her studies, she longed for a more hands-on role where she could apply her knowledge in real-life situations. She had worked part-time as a nanny throughout her university years, discovering a natural talent for engaging with children and creating enriching experiences for them.
One evening, while scrolling through job postings, Y/n stumbled upon an advertisement that caught her eye:Â
______________________________________________________________
WE ARE HIRING
a live-in nanny position for a family in Monaco. bilingual background (German and English)Â
Job description: A high-profile family deeply embedded in motorsports is looking for a bilingual nanny who can travel with them fully and adjust to a dynamic lifestyle.
Required skills: Background in early childhood care.
Job Location: Monaco (base)
______________________________________________________________
It didn't say who that family was, but since she was a new motorsports fan, she had recently started watching "Drive to Survive" on Netflix, it only had 2 Seasons and she just started on episode 3 of season 1. All that she knew about motorsports she got from Drive to Survive but there are so many different categories, not only Formula 1. So she decided she may not know who they were anyway.
But that docuseries had piqued her interest, offering a glimpse into the thrilling and often dramatic world of F1 racing, full of fascinating stories, personalities, and grown men that could be so petty and childish sometimes. Between the drama and the drivers, she felt like watching an episode of "The Real Housewives" shows. Not to forget the lifestyle that comes with motorsports.
She felt an instant connection with the Mercedes team, even though they were hardly spoken about in the first season, since she was born in Stuttgart and everyone knows how interconnected that city is with the brand.
That's why her heart raced so fast as she read the listing. It seemed too good to be true! The chances that I really was anything remotely connected with the Show was slim but she still had a good feeling about it.
It also was just a chance to combine her creative background, passion for nurturing children, and newfound love for motorsports while experiencing life in an entirely new and glamorous setting, knowing that the family had wealth seeing as they live in Monaco.Â
The more she thought about it, the more it seemed like the perfect opportunity. All those factors drove her to apply for the job.Â
Working for that prominent family would allow her to make a significant impact on a kid's life, providing him or her as nanny a stable and loving presence amidst their busy lives.Â
The role also offered her professional and personal growth, which a traditional design job might not provide. At least not in that capacity.
And the opportunity to travel with the family in their fast-paced world and manage the challenges of a high-profile household would push her out of her comfort zone and help her develop a diverse skill set.Â
Plus, the exciting idea of living in Monaco, a city known for its beauty and sophistication, was too tempting to pass up.Â
She could immerse herself in a new culture, build a global network, and create unforgettable memories. Her twenties were here so she could explore herself and the world so what better way than to travel and make friends.
She could always go back to her design background if she was getting tired of childcare. With her, you would never know.
Being highly interested in the job opening Y/n sent out her resume and a cover letter. Still not knowing who the family is. But she really didn't care who those people were as long as they were nice.
______________________________________________________________
I am writing to express my interest in the nanny position for your family. With a strong background in Media Design and over five years of experience in childcare, I am confident in my ability to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for your child. My bilingual skills and creative approach to education make me uniquely suited to support your familyâs needs.
My experience includes designing engaging, educational activities that support childrenâs cognitive and emotional development. I am adept at managing busy schedules, coordinating travel, and maintaining the highest standards of discretion and professionalism. I believe my dedication and adaptability align well with the high standards you seek in a nanny.
I was born in Stuttgart, Germany, to a German mother and an American father, which afforded me the advantage of being raised bilingual in German and English. This multicultural background has not only enhanced my communication skills but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. I am passionate about traveling and eager to learn from new environments, which I believe will enrich my role as a nanny.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your familyâs well-being.
Kind regards,
Y/n MĂźller
______________________________________________________________
When Y/n sent off her application, she felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. She had poured her heart into the cover letter, hoping her passion and experience would shine through. The following days were a whirlwind of emotions and activities as she waited for a response.
During those two weeks, Y/n kept herself busy to manage the anticipation. She continued her part-time nanny job, investing extra effort into creating engaging activities for the children she looked after. She also worked on freelance design projects, hoping to bolster her portfolio in case she needed to pivot back to her design career.
Y/n spent time with friends and family, sharing her hopes about the potential job in Monaco. They encouraged her, but the waiting was still nerve-wracking. Every time her phone buzzed, her heart raced, thinking it might be an email from the Wolff family.
To prepare herself for a possible interview, Y/n researched more about Monaco and the world of motorsports. She watched documentaries, read articles, and familiarized herself with the different sports leagues and key figures, hoping to impress the family with her knowledge if given the chance.
When the invitation for a video interview finally arrived, Y/n was both nervous and hopeful. The email's subject line made her heart skip a beat. She quickly opened it and read through the details, feeling a surge of excitement. She was thrilled to finally meet the family and get to know them, but also anxious about making a good impression.
______________________________________________________________

Your background in Media Design caught our attention, as we believe your creative skills can help make Jackâs experiences both fun and educational. We look forward to speaking with you soon.
Warm regards,
Toto and Susie Wolff
______________________________________________________________
When Y/n received the email, her eyes widened in surprise and excitement as she read through it. She had been anxiously awaiting a response, but she never imagined that the family she had applied to work for was as prestigious as the Wolffs. She quickly reread the introduction, her heart racing.
"Wow," she whispered to herself. "Toto and Susie Wolff? This is incredible."
The significance of the opportunity began to sink in. Toto Wolff, the Team Principal and CEO of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, and Susie Wolff, a former racing driver and the CEO of ROKiT Venturi Racing in Formula E, were offering her a chance to be part of their world. She felt a mixture of awe and determination.
Y/n couldn't help but smile as she thought about little Jack, imagining the lively and curious three-year-old they described. She was thrilled that her background in Media Design had caught their attention and that they saw the potential for her creative skills to enrich Jackâs experiences. Knowing they appreciated her bilingual ability gave her an added boost of confidence.
"January 12th at 3 PM," she murmured, making a mental note of the interview date and time. She clicked the video call link to ensure it worked, not wanting to leave anything to chance.
Her mind buzzed with a hundred thoughts at once. She needed to prepare thoroughly for the interview, making sure she could articulate her experience and vision for supporting Jack's development. She also wanted to prepare insightful questions to show her genuine interest in their family and lifestyle.
Y/n felt a surge of excitement mixed with a hint of nerves. This opportunity was bigger than she had anticipated, but she was determined to make the most of it. She took a deep breath, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over her.
"This is it," she thought. "This could be the start of something truly amazing."
She immediately set to work, planning her preparations for the interview. She wanted to be ready to impress Toto and Susie Wolff, knowing that this was a chance to combine her passions for childcare, creativity, and cultural exploration in an extraordinary way.
The night before the interview, Y/n rehearsed her answers to potential questions and prepared thoughtful questions of her own. She set up her laptop in her parents' house in Stuttgart, double-checked her internet connection, and ensured her surroundings were neat and professional. If this interview didnât work out, she reminded herself, she could always fall back on her design background. But deep down, she knew how much she wanted this opportunity.
______________________________________________________________
She took a deep breath and clicked the link to join the video call.
The screen flickered, and soon she found herself face-to-face with Toto and Susie Wolff. Y/n had done a quick search on them prior to the interview, discovering their significant influence in the motorsports world, but she still didnât know the full extent of their prominence.
âHello, Y/n. Itâs a pleasure to meet you,â Susie said with a warm smile.
âHello, Mr. and Mrs. Wolff. Thank you for this opportunity. Es freut mich sehr, dass wir die MĂśglichkeit haben, so miteinander zu kommunizieren (I am very pleased that we have the opportunity to communicate with each other like this),â Y/n replied, trying to keep her nerves in check.
âPlease, call us Toto and Susie,â Toto said, his tone friendly and welcoming. âWeâve read through your application and were very impressed. Why donât you tell us a bit more about yourself?â
Y/n began to explain her background in Media Design, her passion for working with children, and how she believed her creative skills would be beneficial in engaging and educating their son, Jack. She also mentioned her bilingual abilities and her experience growing up in Stuttgart.
Susie nodded thoughtfully. âWe think your background is quite unique and would bring a fresh perspective to Jackâs upbringing. How do you feel about traveling frequently and adapting to different environments?â
âIâm very excited about the opportunity to travel,â Y/n said. âI think it would be an amazing experience for both Jack and me. Iâm adaptable and eager to learn about new cultures and environments. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, although I havenât had the opportunity to see and learn as much as I would like to until now.â
Toto leaned forward slightly. âOne thing to consider is the nature of our lifestyle. It can be fast-paced and demanding. How comfortable are you with managing stress and maintaining flexibility?â
âIâm confident in my ability to handle stress and stay organized,â Y/n replied. âMy studies and previous nanny jobs have taught me how to manage my time effectively and stay calm under pressure. Zudem mĂśchte ich auch nochmal anfĂźhren, dass ich eben deutsch bin. Es liegt mir also eigentlich im Blut immer pĂźnktlich zu sein und mein Leben gut zu managen. (I would also like to mention again that I am German. So it's actually in my blood to always be punctual and to manage my life well.)â
The last part was meant as a joke, but Toto and Susie knew she fully meant it.
Y/N paused before she asked a question she was eager to get an answer to. âI am very sorry to tell you I donât really know about your work background and I was not comfortable googling the both of you so if you donât mind what exactly do you do? Also, you spoke about traveling how often would that be and when would you like to have Jack with you guys?â It was a long question but she was confident they would answer her fully.
Susie and Toto exchanged a quick glance, their smiles warm and understanding. They appreciated her directness and respect for their privacy.
Susie spoke first, her tone friendly. "No worries at all, Y/n. Iâm a former racing driver and currently the CEO of ROKiT Venturi Racing in Formula E. My role involves overseeing the teamâs operations, strategy, and ensuring weâre competitive in the championship. Itâs a dynamic and demanding job, but one Iâm very passionate about."
Toto nodded, adding with a hint of enthusiasm, "And Iâm the team principal and CEO of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. Itâs an intense job, managing the team and ensuring we perform at our best during the racing season. So, as you can imagine, our schedules can be quite demanding and involve a fair bit of travel."
Susie continued, "Regarding travel, we do move around quite a bit, especially during the racing season, which runs from March to December. There are races almost every other week, and they happen all over the world. We'd love to have Jack with us during these travels, but it depends on the location and the duration of our stay."
Toto chimed in, "Ideally, we'd like him to join us for the major races and during the summer break when the schedule is a bit lighter. It's important to us that he experiences different cultures and environments, but we also want to ensure he has stability in his education and routine. Weâre looking for someone who can help maintain that balance for him."
Susie nodded, "Exactly. We want Jack to feel secure and supported, no matter where we are. Your role would be crucial in providing that stability while also making the experience enjoyable and enriching for him."
Y/n listened carefully, nodding as Susie and Toto explained their busy schedules and travel needs. When they finished, she smiled confidently, ready to reassure them of her capabilities.
"Thank you both for sharing that with me. Your careers sound incredibly exciting and demanding, and I can see how important it is to you that Jack has stability amidst all the travel."
She paused for a moment, collecting her thoughts. "I have extensive experience working with children in various environments, including situations where parents have high-profile, busy careers. I understand the importance of creating a stable, nurturing environment for Jack, no matter where we are. I am skilled at maintaining routines and providing the educational support he needs to thrive."
Y/n continued, her voice steady and reassuring. "Iâm very adaptable and have handled travel with families before. Iâm organized and proactive, ensuring that everything Jack needs is prepared and that he feels secure and happy in each new location. I also love finding creative ways to make travel educational and fun for children, turning each new place into a learning opportunity."
She smiled warmly, looking between Susie and Toto. "Iâm confident that I can provide the balance youâre looking forâsupporting Jackâs growth and education while also making sure he enjoys the unique experiences your lifestyle offers. Iâm excited about the possibility of being a part of your family and contributing to Jackâs development in such a dynamic and enriching environment. That of course is if you would have me.â She smiles at them.
After a few more questions about her approach to childcare and her thoughts on integrating educational activities with play, the interview began to wrap up.
âWeâre very impressed with you, Y/n,â Susie said, glancing at Toto, who nodded in agreement. âWe think youâd be a wonderful fit for our family.â
Y/nâs heart soared. âThank you so much. Iâm really excited about the possibility of working with you and getting to know Jack.â
âWeâll be in touch soon with more details,â Toto said, smiling. âThank you for your time today.â
As the call ended, Y/n felt a rush of exhilaration. The interview had gone better than she could have imagined, and she felt a sense of validation in her choices and aspirations. The Wolff family represented a new path, one filled with opportunities for growth, adventure, and meaningful connections.
Two days later, Y/n received another email from the Wolffs.
______________________________________________________________
Dear Y/n,
We are thrilled to inform you that after careful consideration, we would like to offer you the position of nanny for our son, Jack. We believe that your skills, experience, and personality make you the perfect fit for our family, and we are excited about the prospect of having you join us.
As mentioned during the interview process, we would like to start with a trial period to ensure that there is a good connection between all of us. Therefore, we propose a trial run of three months, during which we can assess how well we work together and whether this arrangement meets everyone's needs.
We are genuinely excited to welcome you into the Wolff family. We believe that your background in Media Design, your bilingual abilities, and your passion for childcare will make a positive impact on Jack's life and development. We are confident that you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for him, allowing him to thrive and grow.
Regarding logistics, we understand that relocating to Monaco is a significant step, and we want to make the transition as smooth as possible for you. If you are able to join us by the 1st of February, it would give us ample time to settle in and get acquainted before the busy racing season begins.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to support you and ensure that you have all the information you need.
Once again, congratulations, Y/n. We are looking forward to embarking on this exciting journey together.
Warm regards,
Toto and Susie Wolff
______________________________________________________________
As Y/n sat amidst the flurry of emotions, her mind drifted to the impressions she had formed of Toto and Susie Wolff during the interview process. Toto, with his focused demeanor and stern yet approachable presence, exuded a sense of determination and drive that commanded respect. She couldn't help but admire his unwavering commitment to excellence, balanced by an underlying charm that shone through in the occasional dad joke or lighthearted quip.
In contrast, Susie embodied elegance and grace in every aspect of her being. Y/n admired the way Susie carried herself with poise and sophistication, radiating warmth and sincerity in her interactions. Behind her poised exterior, Y/n sensed a deep well of motivation, care, and love for others, driven by her passion for making a positive impact in the world.
As Y/n pondered these thoughts, she felt a sense of gratitude wash over her. To be welcomed into the lives of such remarkable individuals, to work alongside them in nurturing and shaping the life of their son, Jack, was an honor beyond measure. She knew that under their guidance and with their support, she would not only thrive but also contribute to creating a loving and enriching environment for Jack to grow and flourish.
With a renewed sense of purpose and excitement, Y/n turned her attention back to the task at handâpreparing for the journey ahead. As she packed her belongings, her heart swelled with anticipation for the adventures that awaited her in Monaco, where she would embark on a new chapter of her life filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities.

Hello and welcome back to my blog!
Itâs been a minute, hasnât it? Life got in the way and honestly, Iâve been taking my sweet time with this new build. It also didnât help that the Sim File Share site kept giving me errors whenever I tried to upload it and I was supposed to post this last month.
Even now, Iâm still dealing with errors on the site and after some frustration, Iâve decided to look into alternative sites for uploading content in the future. But after all the setbacks, itâs finally ready!
Thanks for sticking around and I really appreciate all the likes/reblogs, you all are the best! đ
Click on the âKeep Readingâ below for more information and pictures on this lot.

This clinic is designed to give a real-life feeling of visiting a healthcare facility. Inside, youâll find a: reception area, consultation/exam rooms, pharmacy, laboratory, x-ray/radiology, restroom, locker room, staff break room, doctors office and a large empty room for the rabbit hole rug/door. Now, a couple of things to keep in mind - the layout is designed with a small staff in mind but you can use the extra space in the second floor, where the rabbit hole rug/door is placed, if you want to add more offices or any other services. Just make sure that there is enough space for the rabbit hole rug/door to avoid routing issues. I had to get creative with the signs for this build as I couldnât find anything that felt right or any CCs that matches the layout of the clinic so I made my own directory signs. It is included in the download file and Iâve posted the details along with this post as it is an add-on for the clinic. Iâm using a font called Simlish Deja Vu by gazifu@MTS for the signs and Iâve also included translations in the picture above. Itâs not perfect but you know what? It does the job! I have also placed a big sign shown on the clinic that translates to 'Pharmacy' and I know it might seem a bit out of place but honestly, itâs the only large sign I liked that fit the building aesthetic I was going for. đŁ Please note that the CC included in the lot are not included on the download file. Iâve compiled a list for those interested in downloading them separately (please click the links above or go to WCIF Navigation page) but those are not required and will be automatically replaced in the game. Any expansion packs with build items listed in the Details section above may be required for this lot to show up in your game. This clinic has been such a fun build to put together and I hope you all enjoy the build. This lot has been play-tested and let me know if you experience any problems on your end!

semester success. ἍáĄ
[ 3 chapter mini series ] | chapter one , chapter two
in this series, iâm going to teach you all my helpful tips and tricks on how to succeed in the new semester in just 3 quick chapters! get ready to take notes, weâre diving right in!

final chapter â SACRED STUDYING
the time you spend studying or doing schoolwork should feel sacred to you. you should immerse yourself into this trance where you just grind; making the most of your time and putting your best work into your assignments/studies. in this final chapter iâm going to share some ways that have helped me really lock in when i study for big exams! this is a lengthy chapter, so letâs get right into!
class is in session âŚ
ŕ¨ŕ§ â create/find your sanctuary
where you study is the very first step into effective study habits. i touched on this point briefly in previous posts (such as this one), but i want to go more in-depth!
creating your study space
whether itâs your bedroom, an office, or even a spare room in your house, if you choose to study at home there are a few key things we need to settle.
cleanliness: your space needs to be clean and that cleaning needs to be maintained. when we study in areas that are messy and full of chaos, weâll find ourselves stuck in a headspace that is just as messy and chaotic. if youâre in your bedroom and you have clothes lying on the floor, go put them away! clean your floors, dust off your shelves, make your bed; refresh your space so that when you go to sit down and get to work you have a clear mind!
organization: this is just to go off of the first point, but organize your work space. your desk is where all the magic happens, so create an organization system! make sure you have a pencil/pen holder, a desk lamp, maybe some small storage bins that can hold notecards/post-it notes/tape/etc.! amazon has some really great desk organization finds for a great price, and you can also score some really cute and aesthetically pleasing pieces as well! my pen/pencil holder also doubles as my desk lamp as well as a phone stand! i have another pencil holder that doubles as extra storage as well where i can keep my extra notecards & post-its! keep your study space organized!
decorations: your work space should feel like your space. donât be afraid to cater your roomâs/deskâs aesthetic to your liking! i personally love figurines (hatsune miku, blindbox finds, anime figures, etc.) and i love crystals, so iâve added my own little trinkets onto my desk so that when i sit down to work i feel happy because iâm in my own space surrounded by things that bring me joy! your study space shouldnât feel boring or lackluster, it should bring you joy! it should motivate you to work in that area because you created it into what you want it to be! donât hesitate to add inspirational quotes around your study space as well whether it be ones you print out and frame or ones you write down on cute stationary and hang them up around your room and/or desk!
lighting: natural sunlight, overhead lighting, fairy lights, led lights; whatever it is, pick some kind of lighting that makes you feel relaxed yet still motivated to get work done! lighting is important! you need to be able to see your work, duh! but you also want to make sure your lighting isnât too harsh on your eyes especially if youâre sensitive to light or isnât too dim so that it makes you feel tired!
some other optional aspects to creating your study space:
candles/incense!
background music!
comfy back cushions!
your at-home study area needs to be a place for that productive energy to flow! it needs to not only make you feel comfortable at home, but also to motivate you to lock in. make it personable to you! include your favorite things, but donât forget to incorporate supplies that will be useful and beneficial to you!
finding a good study environment
of course you have the typical libraries and cafĂŠs, and while those places are absolutely perfect for getting work done, you might find yourself getting bored of the same locations.
what to look for in a study location:
aesthetics: for a lot of us, how a place looks/is decorated matters! most of us strive for having an aesthetic area to study and work on assignments, it just adds to that motivation and makes us feel like those iconic characters like rory gilmore, paris geller, or even elle woods! so find a place that fits your aesthetic needs. maybe you want something leaning towards dark or light academia, maybe youâre searching for something cute and cozy, or maybe a place thatâs a bit more modernized and minimalistic!
population & demographic: crowded areas are not the place for study sessions, so keep an eye out for how populated an area is! personally, i canât focus when thereâs a bunch of crowds in a place where iâm trying to study. people are distracting, and the more people there are in a place where iâm trying to study, the more iâll lose focus. also, itâd be good to scope out what kind of people are at the place youâre trying to work at! are there any fellow students you see hard at work? are there clusters of people conversing and laughing together in different sections? are there people quietly reading in more secluded areas? who is exactly is at the place you wish to study? if the demographic fits to what youâre also trying to accomplish then maybe that place is a good fit for you! but if you notice that there are more people there to chat and laugh it up with friends/colleagues, then you might want to keep the search going.
noise: as crowds can be distracting, so can the level of noise. you might find yourself in a cafĂŠ where the music might be way too loud and it makes you lose your focus or the place youâre at is far too quiet and, for some reason, it might make you feel uncomfortable. consider the amount of noise around you and determine if youâre able to focus or not. some people prefer more noise while others donât, and thatâs okay! find what suits you and your study habits best!
furniture: any outside location (a place that isnât your bedroom/personal office) needs to have proper furnishings so that you can lay out your notebooks, textbooks, and laptop/tablet. tables and chairs are key! make note of what kinds of tables you like. do you prefer lower standing tables or ones that are higher up? do you need to sit on a more cushioned chair/couch or do you need a stiff and stable chair? make sure the furniture at any location you plan on working at is optimal for your study sessions!
other things to consider:
amount of privacy!
smells!
hours of operation!
bathroom accessibility!
ŕ¨ŕ§ â form a ritual
having a good routine for your study sessions can make your work experience feel so much organized and even more enjoyable!
you might want to light some candles and start setting the overall vibe or maybe you have a specific way of preparing for your study sessions, either way whatever it is you do to get into the zone can help you get the most out of your work sessions.
things to do to prepare
clean: iâm not saying you have to do an entire deep cleaning of your space, but maybe just picking up laundry off your floor or making your bed! maybe you have cups & empty water bottles scattered on your desk, take them out! maybe youâve got papers just all in miscellaneous piles, go and reorganize them! do whatever it might be to clean up your space a little, nothing major needs to happen, just pick up after yourself!
prepare a snack: making sure you have something to munch on while working is very important (making sure youâre eating is just important in general!), so before you sit down and get to work, make yourself a little snack! maybe a toasted pb&j (or nutella, my personal fav) sandwich or a little fruit salad or maybe itâs even a simple bag of chips! get yourself a little snack ready! brain food!!
make yourself a cup of coffee/tea: every time i post something under my #milkmedia tag, youâll almost always see a cup of tea in my pictures! iâve been trying to drink more tea rather than coffee, but if you need some kind of caffeine for your study sessions, make yourself a cup of coffee/tea! i love making myself some chai & i mix in a small teaspoon of honey and then i add some vanilla creamer!
write down your goals: make a quick list of what you want to get done during your session! avoid making it really detailed and keep it more generalized. it doesnât even have to be coursework related, one of your goals might be to work for an hour! another goal could be taking a break during your session!
whatever it is you decide to do to incorporate into your study/work routine or what it is that you do to prepare for your session, make it personable to you! let it be things or little activities that prepare, calm, and clear your mind. your ritual doesnât need to be any intricate or crazy, but simple things to bring into your routine can make your study sessions more enjoyable!
ŕ¨ŕ§ â time is gold
the time you take to study should be the length that you, your body, and your mind can handle! if a 4 hour study session is too overwhelming, try an hour less than that or you can always start by seeing how well you do within one hour. get a good gauge of how long you can keep your mind focused on your work. if you find yourself getting exhausted after 2 hours, then maybe some things within your routine need to change or you just need a break.
also be sure to consider that your time spent on studying/working should only be used for that reason! remove any distractions from your study space so that you can devote your time and energy into your work. of course, breaks are also essential, so be sure you set timers for yourself so that you can avoid burn out! when you do take those breaks, try to avoid scrolling through your phone. try closing your eyes and focus on your breathing! you can also get up and stretch, keep your body moving (trust me, your knees and back will thank you!). you can even take some time to read a few pages of a book that you read for entertainment!
incorporate the pomodoro method!! iâve discussed this method a few times in previous posts, and loads of studyblr blogs talk about this method as well! but the pomodoro method helps you stay on track with your work/study sessions while still including much needed breaks within that time. again, you can set a timer, but thereâs also so many âstudy with meâ videos on youtube that follow the pomodoro method!
before youâre dismissed âŚ
study sessions and the time you spend working on schoolwork shouldnât feel like a trap to you, it should be time that motivates and inspires you! keeping yourself engaged is key, and if including simple decorations or creating an entire prep routine will help you get focused or keep you from going insane (because i know that getting work done can drive me a little crazy from time to time) will make your sessions so much more enjoyable, or at least tolerable! best of luck to all of you in your academic journey! i know that this semester will be full of successes for you!
with lots of love, faustina đˇ

the feminine urge to be that student effortlessly â§Ë°

thereâs something undeniably magnetic about that student. the one who always has her life together; notes perfectly highlighted, grades effortlessly high, coffee in one hand, an annotated novel in the other. sheâs the girl who glides through hallways with a quiet confidence, always prepared, always composed, always one step ahead. but the truth is⌠she doesnât just wake up like this. she became her.
if youâve ever looked at an aesthetic studyblr post and thought, i wish that were me, it already can be. being that student isnât about obsessing over perfection, itâs about creating systems that make success effortless. and when you master that? discipline doesnât feel like a struggle. it feels natural.
being that student sometimes is subjective, so take this post with a grain of salt, don't change yourself, but become the better version of yourself. this post is to give you some tips that i personally use to become "that student". academics is so important to me, and it always has been. i've always shoot for the highest, and honestly? even though i sometimes feel like "i hate studying" or "i don't want to go to school". i never succumb to it, i have a gravitation towards studying, and good grades. academics is not just about grades, but learning skills to improve your life, your career, relationships and don't forget, your brain! so please try to see school and academics as improving yourself, not just about using grades to define who you are. - mindy
âď¸ how to become that student effortlessly:
⧠romanticize your study sessions â make your desk a space you want to be in. light a candle. play soft classical music. use a pen that glides smoothly. let studying feel like self-care, not a chore. pretend your rory gilmore, or even paris geller.
⧠develop signature study rituals â always start with a cup of tea/coffee/matcha/ANY DRINK, a five-minute review, or a fresh page in your notebook. habits make it easier to start, and starting is half the battle.
⧠master âbare minimumâ studying â not every study session has to be two hours long. learn how to get the most out of 10-15 minutes. review flashcards while waiting for your coffee, summarize a chapter in the notes app before bed, listen to an audiobook while getting ready.
⧠have a âdefaultâ study outfit â cozy but polished. a chunky sweater, soft leggings, blue-light glasses, a sleek ponytail. when you dress like the kind of student you admire, you become her.
⧠use strategic aesthetic motivation â pinterest boards, beautifully organized notion pages, a soft academia playlist, these are not distractions, theyâre tools. use them. let the aesthetic inspire action, not replace it.
⧠learn in layers â donât cram. absorb knowledge naturally throughout the day. read your notes over breakfast. explain concepts in the shower. let studying weave into your routine like second nature.
⧠stop glorifying stress â good students donât burn out. they rest, recharge, and protect their mental clarity. discipline is not exhaustion, it's balance.
âď¸ mindyâs personal tips for being effortlessly studious:
⧠âthe 2-minute reviewâ â every night, spend two minutes looking over what you learned that day. your brain loves repetition. what feels hard today will feel effortless in a week.
⧠âthe open book trickâ â leave your study materials open on your desk, bed, or counter. youâre 10x more likely to glance at them if theyâre already in front of you.
⧠âlibrary auraâ â if you struggle with focus, go to a place that forces you to be productive. a coffee shop, a library, even just a quiet corner of your room with your phone in another area. change your environment to change your mindset. i personally love studying during eating brunch and drinking frappes with my friends at starbucks <3
⧠âstudy like a writerâ â instead of just passively reading notes, rewrite them in your own words. like you're explaining them in a diary or a letter. it makes the information stick. tip: one study method i loved using when i took ap art history, was writing an essay on each individual artwork, even if it was just 200 words long, i was able to write it in my words, it's another method based on active recall. it helped me so much, and i ended up getting a 5 on the ap exam thanks to this amazing method <3
⧠âlive like a student you admireâ â every day, ask yourself: what would the best version of me do? would she scroll mindlessly for an hour, or would she review her flashcards? would she procrastinate, or would she get started now? act accordingly.
âď¸ the truth? being that student isnât about talent. itâs about mindset. show up for yourself. build effortless habits. make learning part of who you are. and soon enough? you wonât just look like that student. youâll be her.
xoxo mindy

P-P-P-P-P-PLEASE MAKE DOTTORE WITH A FEM READER WHO'S INSCURE ABOUT HER BODY + HEADCANONS PLS JDDHDISIDHDH THIS MAN IS MAKING ME CRAZY ARGHđđđđđ
Of course anon!!

From the moment he met you, Dottore was captivated by your presence. Your soft features and curves were a stark contrast to the cold, rigid environments he was used to and he found them absolutely mesmerizing.
Heâs a man of science, after all, how could he not admire the balance and symmetry of your form? He often comments on this in his clinical yet endearing way.
âFascinating. Youâre truly exquisite in ways others fail to appreciate. Yet you are mine and mine alone, which makes me the most happiest."
When he notices you feeling self-conscious or trying to cover yourself up, he immediately intervenes. Dottore has little patience for your insecurities, not because they annoy him, but because he canât fathom how you could doubt your own beauty.
Heâll tilt your chin up with a gloved finger, his piercing gaze meeting yours. âDo you truly believe I would waste my time with someone unremarkable? I chose you for a reason.â
Dottore adores how soft and warm you are compared to the cold sterility of his lab and even his own cold exterior frame. He often pulls you into his lap while working, resting his chin on your shoulder and letting his hands trace lazy patterns along your arms or sides.
âYouâre like a perfect cushion,â he teases with a smirk, though his tone is fond.
Whenever you express doubts about your appearance, he cuts you off with a firm but loving reprimand. âEnough of that nonsense. Your body is a masterpiece, and I wonât have you insulting it nor my taste.â
Heâs not afraid to use his sharp tongue to cut down anyone who dares make a comment about your size.
Dottoreâs compliments often come wrapped in scientific musings or dry wit.
âYour skin is remarkably soft. I should study how it manages to stay so perfect.â
âYour proportions are ideal. Truly, the gods must have been paying attention when they made you.â
He simply knows how to make you flustered and he lives for it.
Dottore loves seeing you in clothes that accentuate your curves. He insists on getting you tailored outfits that highlight your beauty, often acting as if itâs purely for his own benefit. âI canât have people thinking Iâm with someone so plain. Let them see what I see.â
Behind closed doors, Dottore lets his guard down. He kisses every inch of your body, murmuring soft reassurances against your skin.
âEvery part of you is perfect. Donât you see? Youâre mine, and I wouldnât change a thing.â
Dottore often surprises you with thoughtful gestures, like creating a custom chair for your comfort or designing shoes that fit perfectly. Itâs his way of showing you that your body is not a limitation but something to be celebrated.
Heâs fiercely protective of you, especially when it comes to your self-esteem. If he ever overhears someone making a cruel comment, they wonât dare to do so again after facing his wrath.
âYouâd do well to mind your words. Thatâs my beloved youâre speaking of.â
Dottore loves teasing you about how irresistible he finds you. âIf you keep looking that tempting, I might just have to cancel my experiments for the day.â
----------
One evening, you were sitting on the edge of the bed, looking down at yourself in the mirror. The dress you had on clung to your curves in a way that made your stomach churn with self-doubt. You tugged at the fabric, wishing it would just hide you better.
Dottore, ever observant he is, noticed immediately. He approached from behind, his hands settling on your shoulders as he leaned down to press a kiss to your temple.
âWhat are you doing?â he asked, his voice soft yet firm.
You hesitated before murmuring, âI just.. I donât look right in this. I wish I looked.. better..â
âStop,â he interrupted, spinning you around to face him. His hands cupped your cheeks, tilting your face up so your eyes met his. âI wonât hear another word of this nonsense.â
âBut--â
He silenced you with a kiss, slow and deliberate. When he pulled back, his gaze was piercing yet filled with something warmer than you expected.
âYou are breathtaking,â he said, his gloved hands trailing down your arms. âYour softness, your warmth, the way you fit so perfectly against me.. Do you think I, of all people, would settle for anything less than perfection?â
Your cheeks flushed and he smirked, clearly satisfied with your reaction. He pulled you into his chest, resting his chin on your head.
âI love you,â he murmured, his voice uncharacteristically gentle. âAll of you. And Iâll remind you of that every day if I must.â
In that moment, wrapped in his arms, the weight of your insecurities felt just a little lighter.
